Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Toyota City, Aichi, Japan. It was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda and incorporated on August 28, 1937. Toyota is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, producing about 10 million vehicles per year.

When Toyota sent its Scion nameplate to the big used-car lot in the sky at the end of 2016, it saved three of the brand’s four models from the crusher and slapped Toyota nameplates on them. Goodbye, Scion iM. Hello, Corolla iM. Toyota’s rebadged compact hatchback excites the eyes, comes with the latest safety tech, and won’t empty the pocketbook. That’s where the fun stops. Powering this Corolla is a listless four-cylinder engine that makes the iM a rolling contradiction: Its looks promise far more performance than it can hope to deliver.

White marks coming back after three-four weeks, even though dealer wipe with spray. It's just start after 1000 km, not happy with answer. Says it is external problem not cover??? (On website says 60000 km full warranty about manufacturing.)

My Toyota Camry I bought Brand New had a squeaking noise in the struts only at 47,000 miles. Back Struts were changed at the dealership. The warranty coverage for this car is only 36,000 miles or 36 months. I have to pay out of pocket $ 376,00.00 hard cash. Very very very bad reputation for a Toyota car that I have had so much respect for due to recommendations I have had. Very very disappointed and bad experience with Toyota 2018 Camry SE.

Contrast to common belief about Toyotas service excellence, I have had horrible experience despite being a Stern user of Toyota since long. They have denied the gear box replacement after 80K running and which is a clear fault which is covered in extended warranty. This clearly proves their commitment to service. This happened immediately after my Fortuner went for service and they put the blame on some rear which happened one year back and after that it has run 20000 kms. I would say please do not believe on their false commitment and customer centric claims as it does not hold ground. I am a customer in Gurgaon and going legal with them purely on technical grounds. We as consumers should not leave these manufacturers to do what they want to and strip our rights and rightful compensation after having paid for extra.

Toyota has known for yrs that the blizzard pearl and super white paint is falling off cars. They are in phase 1 of starting to do something. Because I have a Sequoia platinum they say they won't fix it. There are lots of people with Sequoias and Highlanders whose paint is peeling off. I have a 60000$ car that the paint is falling off. That sure doesn't do much for trade in value but, they don't care. I am still going to fight this. It's the paint that is bad not the car.

Contacted customer service after a recall of my 2017 Toyota Tacoma was approaching the third month of me being without my new truck (due to the recall). I had to cancel a road/camping trip that I had planned and outfitted my new truck to go on. Also, had to keep going to their rental department to renew their loaner car- time and money spent doing so. Was disappointed and contacted customer service to see what they could do to make it right. Got the complete "chase your own tail" from their customer service. LONG "on hold" wait times, rude and dishonest customer care agents, no help, run around, waste of time. Did nothing to make my experience better. My third new Toyota that I had purchased, and I generally like the product, but I will never buy another vehicle from Toyota purely because of how I was treated and their total lack of customer care.

The warranty covers trip interruptions paying you up to $150.00 a day if the car is in the shop. Also $0 dollar deductible on all repairs with towing included to the closest Toyota dealership. 10 years or 125000 miles of coverage.

It is my favorite. It's not a bad car. I wouldn't trade the 2010 Toyota in for nothing, not even a car worth more money. Even if I could trade it in for a better model. Yes, the model is older but sometimes that means better to some people like me. As long as it runs, I'm good with it. The radio sounds great even. When the crap channels come on, it makes them sound better which is great because that makes it easier to bear listening to them. And the seats - they're really great and comfortable.

I am a fan of Toyota and recommend people to buy Toyota Cars. I myself bought Toyota cars. I recently was looking for a Toyota Sienna LE and I spoke to Toyota Klamath Falls and they agreed to a price with me and gave me the go-ahead to come to their dealership for a van even I told them that I am coming far from the dealership more than 60 miles they confirmed me that they will sell at the agreed price. When I and a friend of mine reached there, I double checked (even though the car has scratches all over but they agreed to fix that) with them before running of my credit check, the sales guy again confirmed the same price and asked me to sign on certain papers. I did that, but, after some time he came back with a different price which was $400 more than the agreed price and said either buy on this price or leave the dealership which was rude. I decided not to buy the car on principles I didn't want myself to be tricked on this dirty trick of them. They didn't give us any copies of anything like the documents which I signed and rudely said that they are not giving us anything and leave. We called Toyota customer service but it was not available since it was Sunday. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody and beware of their dirty tricks. The VIN number of the car is **, please beware this car has scratches everywhere.

I have owned two Toyota Camrys (1999 & 2005). The 1999 was a V6. I don't need to be specific other than to say, if you want drive a car that can easily last more than 200,000 without the expensive repairs, this is the brand to consider. Toyota should definitely earn the "Most Reliable Japanese Car" award. Look around when you're driving. What do you see most? Toyotas, BMWs, Hondas, etc. I don't remember any rental car companies that use Toyotas, which means every Toyota you see on the road are either owned or leased, and not rented. (I might be wrong, btw.) So, something for you to consider the next time you're in the market to buy cars.Tip to all the Toyota owners: If your "mechanic" tells you something is bad and your has less than 75,000 miles, he is lying to you. I have brought my Toyotas to many local shops (to save money from dealerships' exaggerated cost for repairs) and they have suggested to replace the water pump, the radiator, this or that. I was wary and skeptical with their scare tactic approach, so I didn't fix it at that time. Now, 7 years later and with 127,000 miles, it's still running smoothly. Of course, you still have your routine maintenance that needs to be replaced every few years (air filter, tires, batteries, etc). One mechanic told me, "A Toyota with less than 100,000 is still considered almost new. You just have to make sure to change your oil every three to four thousand miles and tune up your car every now and then." These are his words, not mine. My owner manual states every 5000 miles for each oil change, but I think that also depends on how you drive it and how frequent it is driven. You can save a lot of $$$ if you buy it used.Bottom line is, if you want a car for the long-haul of saving money for many years to come, you should definitely consider buying a Toyota. Now, sometimes I wonder why Toyota owners even own Toyotas. I know I drive it because this car was handed down to me and I'm just waiting for it to break down. I mean, let's face it: Tundra drivers don't drive it to haul stuff. (There are many other stronger trucks.) You can't show off your social status with an Avalon. (Again, there are way more other choices.) You can't pick up girls with Camrys. (Not sporty enough to be a sport car and not luxury enough to be a high-class car.) A Corolla is good for what? Prius are well-known for their electric cars, which have been in high demand this past decade. In my opinion, I think you will want to get rid of your Toyota before it will stop working on you.

Toyota cars and trucks are extremely dependable. I have a Toyota Matrix that has 265000 miles and still runs like a champ. I understand people want fancy but I would prefer a car that starts every single time.
