Chevrolet, colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors

The Chevrolet Sonic replaced the Aveo for the 2012 model year, to become General Motors’ first serious North American effort in the cutthroat subcompact field. As with its chief competitor, the Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet put the emphasis on the Sonic hatchback body style’s design and features over the sedan to take on such rivals as the Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris. Chevy added the sporty RS package to the four-door hatchback for the 2013 model year, with stiffer suspension, sport exhaust, and body kit. The RS option was made available for the sedan for the 2014 model year.

Product Reviews:

I'm really pleased with my Equinox. Drives GREAT. Good gas mileage. Zero things to dislike about the car. Buying it, and dealing with Chevrolet has not been satisfactory. Problem 1: Chevrolet wants to sell On-Star. Fine. I don't want it. Eventually, On-Star called me one day when I started the car. I could't shut it off. Chevy was broadcasting an add into my car, without my consent. I was so mad. They got me to press the "button". I tried to be nice to the operator. But, told them "no", and don't do that again. And, "yes", someone can contact me about this. No one every has done so. Bottom line: Chevy could not PAY ME to own On-Star. (I've designed electronics for 40 years. I bet I can disconnect the antenna).Problem 2: I love the multi-media center. But occasionally, they lock it up with a text message. It is a warning that I should not look at the screen while driving. And, I must acknowledge by pressing OK to release the screen. How hypocritical that I should read, and acknowledge a long text before the screen functions. I would like to punch the attorney whose idea this is in the nose, and then in the groin (hypothetically, of course). That is a piece of software that is broken!

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado brand new. The touch screen radio quit working. Doesn't respond to touch. Also it does things on its own like blaring the radio full blast, calling people tick tick tick pushing its own buttons. It's caused me a few times a severe scare almost driving off the road because out of nowhere the Radio goes full blast!!! I only have 36,000 miles on it and warranty is over. How convenient. The transmission from day one slips, seems like it's not going to shift and hard shifts enough to jolt ya! I am really upset with this vehicle. I've learned my uncle has a 2016 Z style Colorado and his is doing the same exact thing. My cousin's Impala radio does the same thing. It doesn't work! There should be a recall on these items and I can't understand why there isn't yet. What do we as owners have to do?

THIS car is amazing. I just got rear ended on a highway. Me going 80km/h got hit at 100km/h and there are no dents, not even a scratch, this car is durable. Nothing can break it. Has always been a reliable car, good on gas, very small able to get from point a to b. I love my Aveo.

The 2020 Chevy Equinox is a nice sized wagon. The ride is comfortable and the seats are great having the option to add air to your lower back for long drives. The only thing I do not like about this vehicle is that when the wind blows, it goes all over the place, especially if you have your window cracked. Overall, seems to be a good fit for my family!

My Chevrolet is one of the worst vehicles ever built. It has inherent manufacturing issues that were ignored and the cars were sold anyway without any regard for the failures that were known by the manufacturer to occur. I hate everything about it. There isn't one thing that was built to last. The production should have been stopped immediately... no that didn't happen. GM just sent all the cars to be sold to consumers with the built in defects.

Never take the Dealership extended warranty on any car: They will do as little as possible, to the extent of blatantly making ridiculously accusations that actually insult your intelligence while looking you straight in the eye!!! They must be trained at this! Most of the time they try to insinuate that you're at fault and you should pay for the repair! Or the problem is a figment of your imagination! Not just with GMC/Chevy, Also w/ Honda. Most vehicles are built well enough to just get them pass their extended warranties! All in all my GMC 3500 extended Savanna van has given my family and I two wonderful trips From Jersey to Key Largo towing two Wave runners, Full Scuba equipment for three, Fishing poles and tackle! We removed the seat behind the front seats out to give us more room for traveling (great idea!!!). My friends l take on fishing and golf trips seats six w/ one sleeping in the rear seat!!! The one in the rear seat love it!!!

Not one problem with the vehicle over three years. Very comfortable interior and easy to use controls. The one complaint would be the rear window to small. One improvement would be the addition of a cross traffic camera as a standard.

Chevy sucks. Bought my 2016 Chevy Trax in September 2015. It's been well maintained. At the 59,000 mile mark, the steering wheel locks up and the engine powers down with no warning, ESC lights comes on and the car loses acceleration. Took it to 1 dealer who keeps it for 4 weeks when they figure it's a module. I brought it to my regular mechanic who has a relationship with another Chevy dealer so I could save on labor, they have it for ANOTHER 4 weeks. And still with the savings, it cost me $1120 for this repair on top of the $218 I paid for the original diagnostic. I finally get the car back, have it for a day and it's the same problem! They replaced the battery, and STILL the problem is still occurring and the dealer cannot figure out what is wrong. This is Chevy's crappy product! Nothing in the normal wear and tear of car ownership should have me shelling out all this money when I bought it brand new and have had it for 3 1/2 years. I've made 3 car payments in the last 90 days and still don't have a car to drive. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVY AGAIN!

Re: Chevy Trax. The first year this model came out, it had a few glitches, but still was fun to drive, easy to park, not too bad on gas mileage and had enough space for a small SUV. Having had a decent experience with my first Trax, I opted to re-lease again. The newer Trax still has a few glitches and not too many upgrades. Still, it's a good, solid, dependable little vehicle. In my opinion, the price could be lower since there aren't too many extras included, just enough to not think you're driving a low-end vehicle. All in all, I like my Trax, and will continue to lease them in the future.

I love my Chevy, the model, and everything about it. It is good on gas and very reliable and thrusts easy to get around with lots of room. It is a great family car and great for kids. It also has a good price.
