Peugeot
Peugeot is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was founded in 1810, with a steel foundry that soon started making hand tools and kitchen equipment, and then bicycles. On 20 November 1858, Émile Peugeot applied for the lion trademark.

My 2017 Peugeot Boxer air bag module has just failed for the second time in less than a year. The common failure of these modules is often blamed on low battery voltage, although my own vehicle has never suffered from this. Peugeot are 100% fully aware of this major safety failure on their vehicles but are totally uninterested in finding a solution. Would never touch another Peugeot product ever again, I would rate their customer care as zero.

Case:027003231. Claim accepted on 28/8. No detail of compensation on how it will be given or details of free servicing as under warrantee.2. At least 7 calls - case handler never free. ONLY one case handler.. no one can tell why refund not processed. 3. A case handler asks for bank statement. Then inquire again.. that guy has left now.4. Case handler calls .missed called back same issue - no direct line. Cant communicate.5. A month - claim accepted and no details given for money.Atrocious customer service, they dont care as they pass you from one clueless rep to another knowing full well its just to waste the customers time, until they hang up. DONT BUY THIS BRAND if you have a issue.. good luck. ?

I have been a Peugeot customer for around 7 years now and I honestly couldnt tell you why. I find their customer service in the Liverpool branch disgraceful, raised a complaint around 1 year ago. still not resolved. Needed to change my tyre today and get my spare tire out to find there is no locking wheel nut in the kit which is the only thing missing. Called Peugeot to be told there is a 6 day wait and I need to pay around 90. 90!!! When I was not given one in the first place! Absolutely disgusting, once this car is finished and handed back I will 10000% never be shopping with Peugeot again! Nothing but hassle and bad attitude.

They did not get back to me on the 3 times they said they would, over 3 weeks. All i could hear was other conversations at the call centre, just no interest in customer care !

From the very start of the purchase of my car I have had a bad experience. Firstly the contact number provided when a test drive was booked was kept on file for a number of months even after I asked many times for this to be removed as it was my fathers number and he did not have anything to do with the purchase of the vehicle and was contacted multiple times regarding this. I was told I could have the just add fuel without telematics even though I did not have a years no claims. When I called to set up the drive away insurance I was told this is not possible even though when I purchased the vehicle I was informed I was able to do so, this was at least 2 months after the purchase of the car as the car had to be ordered. At this point I tried to cancel the order of the car but after a few discussions with a manager this was sorted but still extremely disappointing and not the easy order that was advertised to me. I expressed many times that I wanted a grey car with full grey interior, the car has a green roof and green accessories inside which is not what I asked for! After I finally got the car a recall was called on it regarding the back seatbelts, this was highly inconvenient and yet another issue with the car. I then had a letter through to tax my vehicle, as advertised on the just add fuel I assumed that this would be dealt with by the Menston garage I purchased the car through. I had to email to ask what I was to do about taxing the vehicle, as nobody took the time to explain this to me, where I was told I should have a cheque that covers this cost, I had not received this and had to get this sent to me via post. In the meantime I had to tax the vehicle without the cheque and had to wait for this, with the high monthly cos I expected that this would be a priority but clearly I was mistaken. I then booked in for the free service that is included with the just add fuel contract, the service went ahead and all was well. I was then contacted to say that the vehicle was ready for me to collect. When I arrived I was asked to pay a 214 balance for the service, yet another mistake made by Peugeot! I am extremely disappointed and upset by the service I have received and will not be recommending the just add fuel deal or Peugeot to anybody. The whole service from the start has been a shambles and not as advertised!!

Peugeot - Edgware I have to say this is the worst dealership that I have ever experienced. In fact it is my worst experience with buying anything. The Manager there is a male chauvinist. I bought a 1yr old 16k car, I had to chase for the manual, chase for the service history, and chase for the mats. All that should have been included. It took me a year to finally get what I should have been giving on day one when my car was delivered. Instead of being sorry, he sent me rude emails ridiculing me.I must add this is not a personal review on Peugeot the company. It is on the Edgware branch. However, it has put me off ever buying a Peugeot car again. To say I was upset is an understatement, as a lone woman buying a car I felt totally intimidated by Mark. My worst experience in Customer Service in 25 years. If you want to buy a car, get your car repaired etc, the Romford Branch is wonderful.

I have a Peugeot expert van which I purchased 3 years ago For my dog walking business. My vehicle has been in a Peugeot main dealership for over 5 weeks now and Just been told they are still are waiting on the parts to arrive . There isnt any customer service Ive been passed onto different departments and Im still none the wiser each time Ive contacted Peugeot I was told someone one will call me back and no one ever does. My vehicle is my office and I cant continue paying out for a hire vehicle. Anyone thinking of purchasing a Peugeot dont do it as your treated very poorly

Excellent cars, excellent service. I bought one car from them and decided I needed a different model. I had no trouble changing it. It was very good value, well designed, drives well and so on. All positive.

Customer Couldnt Care Less more like.Laughing my head off at some of these, cuz Ive been stupid too. Believing a call back would happen, they would revert to email to keep me informed instead of me hanging on the phone for hours, had 4 case handlers and not spoken to one of them, completely and utterly useless. Going for a refund on an E208, good luck with that I hear you say, yeah I know ???????????????

I bought a car from the official PEUGEOT approved used car website and it clearly stated, MINIMUM 12 MONTHS PEUGEOT APPROVED WARRANTY. But now my car needs repair within a year and when I contact them, they said it is only the dealership warranty. It is not a manufacturer warranty. On the website, there is no way I could find this detail...It is quite misleading. There is no way I buy again an official PEUGEOT APPROVED used car. Plus, the customer service guy keeps repeating and does not want to listen and solve any of my problems. They said if I want to complain I just go to the dealership, there is nothing to do with them. What?! You are on behalf of a brand and we are just genuine customers.

Nice cars but customer service is pretty hopeless. As mentioned by others here updating the sat nav is a waste of time and not a DIY job. Next the little flap that covers the mirror on the drivers sunvisor failed . Put the visor down and the flap flops around and the surrounding lights come on. A look round the internet reveals others have the same problem with their 308s. I ring Peugeot who tell me to ring the dealer armed with a reference number. The dealer tells me hard luck that little part will cost 150 plus VAT plus labour and advises a call to Peugeot to see if they can contribute. You cant mend the flap and have to buy a complete new sun visor.Phone again and the original helper isnt there but Im promised a call back.A shame really because this 2.0 litre diesel is the best car I have ever owned in all sorts of ways. Up to now no trouble at all. If Peugeot does the decent thing I will amend this posting.

I have owned 2 new 3008s and a new 2008. But I will not be buying any more. It is a case of a good design let down by aniquated IT and non-existant customer support. The Peugeot App is a joke. It doesnt work and sadly Peugeot know it doesnt work and are unable to fix it. Any attempt to contact Customer Support is a complete waste of time and energy. So the option is simple - no more Peugeots!

I have a peugeot boxer van, 2020 reg, less than 1 year old and it has been nothing but problems. Ive already had it in once for a gear synchro problem, that took 10 weeks to resolve, however less than 6 months later the van has again broken down due to a faulty gearbox for the 2nd time. First time it had a crunch between 2nd and 3 rd gears, it took the dealer 6 weeks and 4 retunr visits to diagnose the problem, then a further 4 weeks waiting on parts, oh and i was provided a replacement van for 3 days until they needed it back to service it. Never got the free van back to use. I had to hire one at my own cost for the remainder of the 10 weeks. This time I break down, cant get the vehicle into gear, the AA tells me it is a gearbox problem, clutch and master cylinder is fine, and I phone the dealer to be told that they no longer carry out repairs to peugeot boxers. Wait what? I only bought it from you a year ago. I was told by the dealer that they are not doing repairs to them. I ask why and they tell me that they were forever doing repairs to them. So I contact peugot customer services who kindly find me another dealer who will take it, this dealers then tells me that their order book is full for 3 months. I sk them, what it is full off and im told, services and routine checks and stuff, which I obviously think this is unacceptable as my van is not working at all so i re contact peugeot directly who advise that their is nothing that can be done. They cannot force a dealer to make the repair, so I ask for a replacement van, Am I to recieve a replacement vehicle in the meantime? No. Im told I just have to wait. As a one vehicle business owner I have a now a tough decision to make. Do I rent another van so I can make money and feed my kids, or do I wait for 3 months for peugeot to fix the brand new van that is broken down. Absolute Shambles and disgusting customer service.

I now fed up with the lack of service I have received from Peugeot as a brand.I purchased a brand-new Peugeot e2008 GT Premium 3 month ago and within a few weeks it started to develop problems to the point that the RAC had to collect my car and take it back to the dealership. This was 2 months ago and to date I am still without my car. I have been told by my dealer in Snows Peugeot in Newbury that the part concerned (Traction Battery) is still on order. THIS HAS NOW BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS.I have not had any calls from anyone at Peugeot customer services, Although I appreciate the current situation cant be helped and things happen, and cars go wrong! But this is just absolutely, ridiculous, A brand new 40,000 car which I purchased in the first place to keep my costs down has cost me more money as Im paying for something I dont having only enjoyed the car for a few weeks since taking delivery nearly 3 months ago. Ive had contact whatsoever from Customer Service or PSA Finance This is outrageous and unacceptable. As far as Im concerned, I have essentially purchased an item thats not fit for purpose.I will be seeking legal advice on this and going to take my story to social media and the press.
