SEAT
SEAT is a Spanish car manufacturer, which sells its vehicles under the SEAT and Cupra brands. It was founded on 9 May 1950, by the Instituto Nacional de Industria, a Spanish state-owned industrial holding company. It quickly became the largest supplier of cars in Spain. In 1986, after 36 years being publicly listed as an independent automaker, the Spanish government sold SEAT to the Volkswagen Group of which it remains a wholly owned subsidiary.

Extremely poor support from customer service team at Seat UK, kept passing the blame back to the dealer, when all I wanted was answers to why my infotainment system was shutting down and what Seat plan to do if a software update didnt fix it, absolutely rubbish after sales care and unreliable vehicle electrics which was its USP from the dealer, should have paid more and bought a VW or Skoda

Poor service. I raised a relevant safety issue on one of their vehicles that nearly killed me twice; only for them to send me round in hoops for 6 weeks and then refuse to assist in any way.My biggest regret I have is ever buying a seat vehicle and thinking it would come close to anything else out there. They are dangerous and Seat customer services, escalated customer services, case workers and even the MD do not want to help

Stay away from these people had a brand new seat atteca from them in November after 2 months of having it started having major issues with it had no other option but to do a rejection on it then was messed around on replacement car being told loads of different things on arrival time and other things so had enough and got financial ombudsman involved a almost a year later still waiting for snows and vwfs to take car back as agreed shocking service. My advice stay well away from these dealerships horrendous service and real bad customer service from snow seat

2017 Seat Leon warning FUEL RAIL BOLTS COME LOOSE Fuel rail bolts worked themselves loose ( not tightened correctly at factory ) and fuel flooded the engine, lucky to be alive really. Seat UK do not care. There is a safety recall in the USA for the same engine but in the UK Seat are waiting for someone to die before doing anything. Google Skoda loose fuel rail bolts seat loose fuel rails bolts also see link below for the actual repair manual from the USA which states how dangerous this is.If anyone here has a Seat from these years I suggest you get your car looked at, this is an extremely serious safety issue which Seat are failing to acknowledge. For the safety recall repair PDF google fuel rails bolts loose pdfEDIT there is another reviewer further down with the same problem !SEAT UK MAYBE YOU SHOULD START LOOKING INTO THE SAFETY OF YOUR CUSTOMERS !

Disgraceful! I have purchased a new Cupra Formentor and in the first three months have a growing list of faults. Im currently trying to reject the vehicle, I have been told Im entitled to a full refund as its such a new vehicle with so many faults. I then had a complaints handler assigned to my case to help me. She tells me differently and a partial refund would be in order, while the dealer wants to buy it back but charge me 45 pence per mile x 3,650 miles, they then deduct what Ive already paid and then pay them an additional 557 to reject the faulty product! Well Ive waited on a call back from my complaints handler from VWFS for Three days! She has no direct number and no direct email address. What a shower of ****Anyone thinking of buying a Seat or Cupra with the large touch screen, dont do it, its full of issues and bugs and ruins the car. I have noisy door card ??, and the tailgate is out or alignment. 9 days on from me officially starting to reject the vehicle Im nowhere! Nobody can even pick up the telephone and help me. Id get better customer care from Ryan Air. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.
excellent service thank you.

After my 2018 seat leon with only 25k miles and just out of the 3 year warranty ( yes weve all been there ) developed a very serious fault with the bolts on the fuel rail coming loose. Fuel spraying under the front of my vehicle, very very dangerous Id say. After paying 461 for the repair I contacted SEAT UK who just wanted to push my complaint to one side like it wasnt a problem. WELL SEAT UK maybe you need a wake up call and help people like myself and take the matter seriously. I do appreciate my car was a few months up of warranty but that fault should have NEVER happen and its happened on a few more aswell. Only wanted some help with the cost SEAT UK After all good job I wasnt on the motorway and the fuel got onto the exhaust!!!!!!!!.........

Turbo control arm failure after 30000 miles rendering the SEAT un-driveable. SEAT customer service totally dismissive and seem to suggest failure of a significant , non-serviceable engine component is just tough luck, its out of warranty so 1700 for a complete replacement turbo. Very poor.

I exchanged my Ibiza for a newer model today & the customer device was excellent. Nikki Majewska went through the whole procedure from the first call 2 weeks ago till I picked it up today. Her professional attitude & friendly was second to none. Thank you Nikki . Francis Robinson.

If I could give zero stars I would, if not minus. My car was damaged at the Seat dealer in my area (the same Seat dealer who also had to carry out warranty repairs on my Arona and somehow managed to replace the wrong side suspension piece on my car, before finally getting it right) and had no evidence such as a check-in or out sheets, which Ive been told by a Seat approved repairer is standard. I tried to resolve with the dealer but they ignored any kind of correspondence from me. I then went to Seat UK and they couldnt have been less helpful. I had ongoing phone calls back and forth asking me for the same information over and over which didnt fill me with confidence, until I heard nothing from either the dealer or Seat of any kind of progression. (Just to add, this was reported back in October and is still ongoing) I eventually had enough and called at the end of December and was informed by Alex on the customer care team (he was their only saving grace who was very helpful and honest) that nothing had actually been done with my complaint and he was having to excel it.I eventually had a call from another customer care member who advised they wouldnt be paying for repairs but would offer a SMART repair. A SMART repair would invalidate my manufacturer paint warranty however, which I think they assumed I wouldnt know. I argued the case and was told it was this or 50% towards the repair quote, which I had to get myself from a SEAT approved repairer in the meantime, to which I hesitantly agreed for the interim but also advised Id be going to the ombudsman, and wanted this confirmation in writing. I received their email and to my shock, the email now offered 50% payment towards a SMART repair carried out by the dealer who damaged my car, which equates to less than 100 for damage that was quoted at around 635 to rectify by a qualified repairer. I replied to the written email on the same day to advise this wasnt agreed and that as their calls were recorded they would need to listen to my call with Rav and send me a correct authorisation, and a copy to the repairer so they could book me in. This was on the 30th December and I am still yet to receive anything back. I have emailed, called, used online chat and nothing. To say Im shocked is an understatement as they are part of the VW Group, but if I can advise you of anything its absolutely do not ever get a Seat as youll regret it and the customer service you will/wont receive.

I advised my son to have his new (to him) SEAT Ibiza Cupra serviced by a main dealer so he took it to Euro SEAT Crawley earlier this year.He was messed about left right and centre on the booking date but eventually they did service the car. They also reported that the front tyres and brakes needed changing asap and the car was due a cambelt change. As the car was a few months off being 3 years old, I advised leaving the cambelt until then. The tyres looked ok to me (and my tread depth gauge) but as these and the brakes are safety related, I sent him and the car along to a trusted local garage to get them sorted - the garage advised that both tyres and brake pads were absolutely fine for a good few thousand more miles. The front tyres were recently changed, 4000 miles later and still well withing legal limits. We have been advised that the brakes still have plenty of life in them.Despite this experience he recently contacted Euro Seat Crawley to get a price to change the cambelt and water pump. Several emails and no response from them was odd (email used so we would have a record of the price quoted) so we took the car to our trusted local garage....and were advised that the car has a timing chain not a rubber belt, and therefore no replacement is necessary.I contacted Euro SEAT Crawley for a comment on this and guess what - nothing!

If anyone is thinking about taking out a Seat service plan, make sure you read the terms and conditions. The plan is only against the car the plan is taken out against so if you change your car any funds you havent used are lost . Basically I have been paying every month towards a service, Ive just charged my car before my next service so the 200 Ive paid in is not refundable or transferable . Seat just keep it. Shame on them. Ive had service plans with other manufacturers and any unused service payments have been refunded its safe to say I wont be taking a service plan for this car.

I have been using Seat Worcester for the past 7 years for new cars and subsequent servicing and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. I rely on them to look after my interests and they have come up trumps every time. I thought about using a local garage (possibly cheaper) but in the end I decided against it as I might not get the same level of Customer Service and Seat Expertise at a local workshop as I would at Seat Worcester. Many thanks to the Service Dept and Bryn Stretten in particular for keeping me informed at all stages of my Service and work to be carried out. During my wait I was surprised that Kristian or any Sales Person didnt come across to interest me into buying a new car, very strange. In Any case, I came away a very happy customer with a well serviced and nice clean car inside and out well done everybody.

The winter check service isnt available! - I contacted showroom at Croydon they say, its basically Seat who has to announce the program. There used to be a page but now the page is no longer available.I used to have VW Tiguan where they offer great service, I sold it to buy Terraco and now I am kind of missing the awesome customer relationship experience VW used to offer.

Beware.. Dishonest..Seat Letchworth Dealership..I saw a Seat Leon 1.8 TSI 180 PS which was advertised for 14777.00 on Autotrader by Seat Letchworth.I called the Seat Letchworth Dealers and initally spoke to Alex. After asking a few questions about the history of the car including any additional works required, Alex confirmed that the car is in the workshop having a few parts replaced which are worth 1500.00. He also mentioned that the Alloys have been refurbished in house and all minor issues are being taken care of before they actually sell the car. I requested a detailed video of the bodywork of the car and was told by Alex that the car is in the workshop so once it comes out he will send me a video.I was really happy to hear this as its been a few weeks searching for a good car. I spoke with Alex and offered him 14000.00 and promised that if he accepts my offer, I will travel to go and pick my new car up on the sameday (Sat 19th Feb 2022).He said let me come back to you as I need to ask if Im able to give it for 14000.00.After 5 - 10 minutes, he calls me back and offers to give me the car for 14350.00. He explained that the car has gone through the workshop which has cost them close to 1500.00 so he will accept 14350.00 and no less.I accepted the offer on condition that they send me a video prior to taking a deposit. He was happy to do this for me and asked me to leave it with him the as the car is still in the workshop.I didnt hear back from Alex so thought Id call to confirm when theyll be sending the video through to me. To my disappointment, Alex confirmed that he is really sorry as some other staff member who never knew about my interest has taken a deposit from someone else who is coming next week to inspect the car and if they dont buy the car, he will get in touch with me.I honestly was feeling lied to as I could tell that something wasnt right from when I called back to pay the actual deposit.Fast forward to the next day (Today Sun 20th Feb 2022).. My wife (Different surname to my name) emailed them to enquire about the car and enquired if its available and if we can arrange a viewing for this coming Tuesday.. Chris replied back confirming that the car is for sale and would be very happy to arrange a meeting for this coming Tuesday and asked what time we will be arriving. My wife emailed Chris back asking if there was any movement from 14777.00 and offered 14500.00 as I had a strong feeling that they lied to me because they had changed their mind on the initial proposal of 14350.00 which Alex had accepted over the phone. To both our dissapointment and disgust.. Chris emailed my wife back saying the car is priced at 15488.00 on Autotrader and they cannot accept the offer of 14500.00 that my wife had proposed.End result:Extremely Dishonest and Falsely Telling Lies just to avoid giving the car away at the agreed price. Beware of these scammers.Thank you.
