Avoid the LPG powered cars. I bought a Logan 1.0 TCe bi-fual in April 2021 (one of the last ones!) and the engine has developed a fault but Dacia cannot repair it as they have no technicians trained to work on the LPG system.Their customer service and complaints people do not provide any customer service whatsoever. I called numerous times and was promised a response but never got any. I have formally written to Dacia threatening to reject the car and again - no response. My conclusion: avoid Dacia altogether. Great cars but terrible customer service.

Duster wipers failed, heater failed, light stuck on, dealer says not unexpected faults, maybe they should put this in the sales info so you are warned in advance

After buying a second hand car sandero from Bury motors with low mileage in April unfortunately in November 3 weeks out of warranty the car needed a new starter motor. We contacted bury motors who said there was nothing they could do as we were just out of warranty. The car was towed to our local garage. I contacted Dacia directly who said they could not contribute as we didnt take the car to a Dacia dealership even though bury motors said there was nothing they could do. The car has only done 46000 miles and a starter motor is supposed to last at least 150000 miles. I would AVOID buying a Dacia completely

Tried to get a test drive of a Sandero for over a week several emails and phone calls nobody ever calls back, its like they dont want to sell any cars, so went onto autotrader and found a MG 3 instead will pick up on Friday. Shame as all the YouTube reviews were positive and it won best car 2021.

After taking my duster for it three year service to toomey the main dealer i ask the service desk if i can extend the warranty they said you can anytime on the Dacia site the prices are guaranteed for so many months so i just tried to extend it to be told it has to be in the three year warranty when i phoned toomey back they said thats crazy and not right so now because of there misinformation i am out of warranty never buy another car from them again when I phoned Dacia customer care found them no help but just reading from a script when I asked to speak to someone higher customer care told me they decide that very strange customer care

Terrible customer service and lies! I had an issue with an advert for a brand new Sandero on Autotrader. The dealership blamed the manufacturer, the manufacturer blamed Autotrader and Autotrader blamed the dealership. It has taken months and my conclusion is they are sending me in circles!

Leased a new 2018 registered Dacia Sandero at the end of January 2019. In October 2020 the starter motor failed, preceded by a clicking noise. It was annoying to have a new car fail so soon, however I guess these things happen. The starter motor was replaced by the dealer - Arnold Clark, Hillington, Glasgow. 6th June 2021 exactly the same thing happened again. Clicking noise while the car was running then the next time I went to drive it the car wouldnt start. So, I went onto the Dacia forums and saw that many people reported experiencing the same problem. In addition, the RAC mechanic who picked the car up told me that he has seen the same issue with many Dacia Stepways. I expressed my concern to the dealer that this was a recurring fault. Contacted Dacia also to advise the same. The starter motor was replaced a second time. In September 2021, I was driving the car and noticed the clicking sound again. I contacted Dacia. It took them over 4 weeks to reply. When they did, they referred me back to the dealer. By this time, it is November, and the car is due to go for its MOT. I asked the dealer to check out the fault and advised them I was concerned the same thing was about to happen again. They said it was fine no fault found. Fast forward to today, 20th Jan 2022. It has happened again. Last night I heard the clicking sound while car was running (I now know this is the starter turning over) and the key was sticky in the ignition when I was switching the engine off. The forums show both of these things as known faults with these cars and in fact some models were recalled because of the ignition issue. The faulty ignition switch engages the motor with the engine running and wrecks the starter motor. Contacted Arnold Clark today and they say they cant help me. They take no responsibility for not been able to diagnose the fault three times. Dacia have each time referred me back to the dealer. Lets see what happens next. To sum up, I would not recommend buying a Dacia unless you are happy with a poor quality car and poor customer service.

This is more of an update from my last review which was like this a one star review. Now since my last review I have had several communications with the utterly inept, incompetent, bone idle and intensely stupid staff at Renault/ Dacia.head office in Hertfordshire.I was promised various thing which included a guarantee that there would be an extension of two years to my warranty, and a copy in writing. What has happened is no great surprise, the dealership has not been notified of this nor have I received the written copy of this agreement.Steve (no surname ever given) who is part of the executive team, cannot get this extremely basic, part correct what does it say for the competency of others working below. It is even more galling that when you do try to sort things out NOBODY seems to know anything about what has been agreed or is prepared to try to sort it out.Now that I have got the basics mentioned, now I can explain what is not going on with the 68 Duster(2).(1) DAB radio still jumping around various radio stations at its will not mine.(2) The heater takes around 15 mins to heat the drivers well.(3) The A/C does not chill the car properly unless it is permanently in air recycle. But according to no surname Steve states that that is normal for all DAB radios, but the heater is not acceptable, I have not had a chance until now to get the heater and A/C sorted out. But blaming the DAB Radio excuse is nothing more than manufacturers B.S that are now refusing to deal with this. When I have checked this seems to be a problem with Dacia dusters, it is clear speaking to DAB people that this is nothing more than complete B.SIn my previous conversations with Steve I stated I felt like I have been mugged, I now feel like I have been not just mugged of nearly 20,000 but conned, lied too and far from listened too. The fact that the French head of Renault/ Dacia UK, does not actually reply to customers emails but passes them to this completely inept executive team. GOD HELP US ALL IF THIS IS THE BEST RENAULT/ DACIA CAN DO.

Unlike a lot of reviews, I havent had any mechanical issues during the last three years of ownership of my Duster 4x4. My gripe is with their PCP contract. You would assume that if you take delivery of your new vehicle on the first of the month, then a 3 year PCP deal would expire the day before the third anniversary? Not so sadly. The date used is the 3rd anniversary of the date that the FIRST payment is made, in most, and certainly our case, this was 28 days later. This matters as you need to have the car MOTd and potentially would need extend your car insurance to cover this additional period of time. Whilst this may be in the very small print, its certainly not made clear at the time you take the finance out and pick up your car. The only way around this is to arrange to have the car returned before the final payment, allowing the collection company a good 2-3 weeks to arrange collection. If the vehicle requires an MOT at collection and doesnt have one, they wont take it unless you pay the approx 250:00 for a low loader to collect. First and last time Ill be using Dacia Finance for sure.

These cars are a liability. Bought a 4x4 duster with 60k on the clock, good service history from a dealer. Car was just 3 years old. By 80k Ive been recovered 3 times, wasted hours on every conceivable warning light coming on. Took it for mot at 80k to be told the engine is scrap, needs shock absorbers and some 4X4 sensor parts. To add insult to injury, after the dealer had washed it I noticed rust bubbles on the rear wheel arch. Complained to Dacia, theyre not interested. So after 20k driving Im left with a vehicle only fit for scrap. You get what you pay for with these cars, maybe ok brand new with dealer backup.

No service and a useless warranty. 6400 miles on the clock and the exhaust fell off my Duster. LocaL dealer, Derby, quoted 4 weeks as the earliest they will look at the car. Next nearest, Burton on Trent, will not look at it at all. Dacia head office seem unable to get things moving. I have a car I need for work that I can not dive, and a warranty worth nothing. This is my third, but my last ever Renault Dacia. Getting my vehicle fixed independently isnt possible because Dacia will not release parts to non-Dacia dealers.

Masters of Beckenham were glad to take my order for a new Dacia Stepway Automatic & a deposit just before Christmas 2021 & advised 3 month delivery (March 2022). Had a subsequent e-mail early in January 2022 advising that delivery had gone out to mid/late April. Received an e-mail today advising that Masters of Beckenham were closing down on 29th April & as my car was now due mid/late June they wouldnt be able to supply it but were willing to transfer the order to another (undefined) dealership. Firstly this is the first Ive been advised that delivery has gone out again & secondly surely they must have known they were scheduled to close down in April when they accepted my order in December 2021 & thirdly delivery has now gone out from the original quoted 3 months to 6 months. What a way to treat a new customer. Very dubious business practices. Dacia are advertising the fact that they now can supply cars with automatic gearboxes but try & buy one - no chance. Dacias might be cheap but delivery and service are in the negative!

Ordered and paid for and did deal for my brand new Dacia Sandero stepway on 12th July 2021.It is now Thursday 16th December and although I received the registration document for said vehicle on 17/11 and I was informed it was in the country on 7/11, I still await delivery.Customer services for Dacia UK have been as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

If I could give a minus star result for Dacia I would! What appalling customer service, useless warranty, undrivable cars. I would not pay 10 for one!So we ran a fleet of 6 of these for 3 years because they seemed to be good value at the time. Sadly from within 6 months the drivers seats started to collapse, then all the lights came on and power failed. Each week we had a car in the garage because of an issue with the mechanical components and or the seats. Please do not waste your hard earned money on these poor excuses for a reliable vehicle!

69 plate Duster Comfort. No end of problems. On one occasion it spent a month being repaired. On going problems, engine uses 0.5L every 600 miles among its problems. I am not sure why Dacia have a customer service department. New problem today: the clock has gone wonky.
