Hyundai Palisade vehicles (2020-21) have a defect with a windshield causing them to crack from minimal impact and sometimes no impact at all. There are many reports of this all over the web. Hyundai however is refusing any assistance to consumers and denying that there is any issue at all. My windshield cracked and had to be replaced when the car had just 500 and it didn't even get hit. It was a detail shop getting cleaned, etc.. Hyundai should step and start taking responsibility plus reimbursing owners who already needed to have their windshields replaced and also offer free replacements for OEM glass going forward for many reasons:1. Hyundai and Kia are related companies. Palisade and Telluride are related vehicles. Telluride has exactly same complaints regarding the windshield and Kia sent letters to all the owners saying this issue is being looked into and in the meantime offering free replacement and/or reimbursement if the windshield has to be replaced. Why isn't Hyundai doing the same?2. Almost every single complaint on the NHTSA website is about the windshield. There are over 85. This is not a coincidence! See: **3. I am sure you are also aware that there is a class action lawsuit about this same windshield issue. Again not a coincidence. There is a reason why there is a lawsuit.Hyundai should do the RIGHT thing just like KIA is doing and reimburse owners for windshield replacements especially when they are cracking WITHOUT even being hit by anything. That is a defect in your product!

Hyundai has totally misrepresented the mileage. I purchased a 2013 Elantra; I get 24-City, 28-Highway. I have taken the car into the dealership to complain. They told me they find nothing wrong with the car. They told me it was my driving. I was told I need to coast whenever possible. On the street or the highway when I hit the crest, I must take my foot off the gas and coast and then I would improve my mileage. I hate the dealership and this car. I purchased the car because of the 30-38 MPG, and it is simply not true. Do I have any recourse? I would definitely join a class action case against them. Please advise.

Hyundai prides itself in its reliability. I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata I purchased in March of 2010. I have had nothing but problems. Within the first year, my engine began overheating due to a faulty radiator fan. This was replaced under warranty. Less than a year later, my engine began overheating a 2nd time. The dealer refused to warranty because there were more than 10,000 miles put on the vehicle since the original fan was replaced . About three months later, the car would not start while sitting in a parking lot. This was related to a faulty brake sensor. Most recently, 6 months later, the vehicle would not start because of a failed starter requiring a tow truck. A 2011 vehicle should not have this many problems. I am extremely disappointed in Hyundai and am looking to sell it in the very near future. I travel for business, and need a reliable means of transportation. I urge possible consumers to use caution before purchasing a Hyundai vehicle.

I bought this from a certified dealer in Myrtle Beach who told me the 10-year 100,00 was transferable to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it. I've had problems with the airbag light. I took it to a different dealer who now charged me to fix it saying the wiring was bad under the passenger seat. The next evening, I went to move the car and put it in park and it started jumping and rolling backward. I put it in drive and went forward, put it in park and it did the same thing. I had to put the emergency brake on. I called the dealer. They can't get to the car for 3 days so I have nothing to drive, and to top it off, tell me I don't have any warranty. That I'm going to have to pay for repairs. I look at the warranty info online from the Hyundai website and it says that warranties transfer over to new owners. I think this company is a sham and the dealers are worse, trying to rip us off. I am a single woman and feel like I am being ripped off many times over starting with the Myrtle Beach dealer. My mom has been a faithful customer of theirs for years and has purchased 7 cars, 5 of them being Sante Fes, from them in 9 years and has recommended them to many people. I am so angry and disappointed with this situation. I guess loyalty doesn't pay. It just makes you vulnerable to unscrupulous dealers.

We have been waiting since 12/2/11 when we purchased our car to get the Blue Link service. We call the Center on a regular basis and all we get is: "I'll give you my ID number (with a different agent) and we'll call you. We're working on it.” No one ever calls us back. The name and the ID number of the individual is never available when we call back.

Bought a brand new car 2014 Forte. Humble Hyundai will not fix or replace it. What is the use of having a new car when you can't drive it due to a knot on the back tire? I travel every other weekend to take care of a family member. I can't do that with this tire. They do not want to even help, they say we got to pay for it out of our pocket. I think that is wrong, I gave them a nice Kia with nothing wrong, they gave me a tire with a knot on it. If your car is new with warranty, don't you think they would replace but no.So whoever reads this please do not go to Hyundai dealer in Humble TX that is in Houston off of 1960. I went to a different one, they got bought out so the car I was going to buy Humble Hyundai bought them so they're not going to be even better. Kia in Baytown was lot better when I bought our Kia Soul. We just outgrow it. I need to get a tire so I can go help a grandma. I'm like a caretaker. When the kids need a break with them not helping, it's hard to get someone else. We only have these Kia Forte, his truck is down right so we got 2014 car that can't drive due to a Nexen tire. Thanks.

I am having problems with my Hyundai Tuscon windows. My driver's side and passenger side windows have a short in the panel and many times will not work. I took them into a 2 dealers in San Diego and they could not repair. I spoke to Scott at Hyundai motors and he is helping me with my window issue. Thank you Scott! I will update after next repair. Thank you Hyundai for listening to me.

I bought four units of Hyundai Starex at my country, Malaysia. My Hyundai Starex MPVs were registered under Malaysia numbers. I bought the first two units in 2009, another unit in 2010 and another unit in 2011. Now, the first unit, that has 178,000 miles, encountered some problems. Whenever I made a turn, the vehicle is moving and it is becoming dangerous. I also have problems with the aircon compressor. My question is, are these two items still under warranty?Malaysia Hyundai's slogan is very attractive: Warranty under 3 years or 300,000 miles. But when I made a claim, they said, "sorry, there is no warranty for your vehicle." What? No claim? My vehicle has never been in an accident before. Apparently, your slogan is only meant to cheat us. I am very disappointed with Hyundai Malaysia.

My 2016 sonata is a month old. The adaptive cruise system has failed and initiated an emergency stop while driving. The driver door is misaligned and allows road noise into the cabin and water into the "sealed" part of the door. The driver's side windshield wiper is misaligned and fumbles across the windshield making all sorts of noise. When I went to Hyundai of Serramonte the service clerk directed me first to a body shop. Then to the Hyundai where I purchased the car since it was a different dealer. Then told me the problem was normal and pointed to a far off car and said something like all doors are like that. We then walked over to the other car so I could show him the weather stripping on the other car does not create a gap like is on my car. He then said I can make an appointment if I want and walked off.

This car has been a lemon from the day I bought it. It is dangerous. It began when I first started using the cruise control. It does not shut off correctly somehow. It will start accelerating when I am trying to stop the car or slow down! The tac will go all the way to six! I have to fight the acceleration using the brake. Shortly after purchase, when started in neutral, it lurched forward without cause, and ran into a parking barrier, denting the front. When I took it to the dealership while still under warranty, they said they "could not replicate the situation," and did nothing. I argued with them and they agreed that if this situation gets fixed, it should be under warranty. I insisted they put it in writing. So I have been driving this way for quite a while, but that isn't the worst part of this. Yesterday, Sept. 30, 2013, I was driving the car when it started belching yellowish smoke. I parked it and investigated. No gauges came on. No fluid anywhere. Not overheating. I turned it off and had it towed to the dealership. It still has the drive-train warranty. Today, they told me it needs a new engine. They said the oil was really dirty and unless I can prove proper maintenance, the warranty is null. They did no further investigation after "looking at the oil" and that the exhaust is burnt out, too, and needs replaced. The cost would be from $8000 to $12,000. I still owe $14,000 on the car! The oil had been changed about 10,000 miles ago, which is too long, but not a reason for the motor to crater! No gauge lights up, only symptom is smoking exhaust. It was running fine when I parked it except for the smoke. This doesn't make sense to me.I will not go into detail about the other small things that have broken or quit working, like the lights, under-carriage being flimsy, moon-roof sticking, the no brake lights recall, etc... I have made a claim to the company and they are "working on it." If they don't resolve this, I will report it on every social media site I can find, not to mention the hundreds of coworkers and students I have that will hear about it. Don't buy Hyundai.
