I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 with 46K miles on it. The car is not a daily driver and is maintained immaculately. My engine has just suffered a catastrophic failure where a bolt inside the short block backed itself out and caused severe damage to the crank, block itself, sprayers, pistons, etc. The repair is costing me over $6,000 and when I contacted Consumer Affairs, they were not interested in hearing any of my issues and were not ready to stand behind their product. I even mentioned to them that I currently own 2 Infiniti cars, the G35 and a QX4, and that I have even owned a third product in the past. The whole process has left a sour taste in my mouth and a deep hole in my pocketbook. I wasnt expecting Infiniti to cover 100% of the damages, but was hoping to get some compensation.

Recently, I purchased 2011 Infiniti FX35 Premium model from Woodbridge Alta Infiniti. My brake started to make squeaky noise around 5,000km odometer reading (Canadian car). I took it to my dealer 3 times, the technician did the security sanity check and found no problems and told me its common to hear brake squeaky noise in all Infinitis. So basically, the dealer wont do anything to fix squeaky problem. At this point, my only option is to upgrade factory brake pads to ceramic pads and I am not even sure this will fix the problem. I am very disappointed in (1) Alta Infiniti technicians and (2) FX35 brake system.

FX30 - Despite salemans assurances that Infiniti was expanding their network and would be providing services through Nissan dealers... 7 years on and still stuck with extortionate service fees, dearer parts than you would expect for a classic restoration - cant even have the brakes changed at Quick Fit!! Even had to pay almost £200 for SatNav update as 10 year old roads were not on a 7 year old car!! At least two other comparable luxury car options out there with competitive, reputable, and nationwide servicing capability.

I purchased a used 2004 Infiniti FX35. And, today I have a LUXURY (joke) vehicle with a bubbling dashboard. Apparently, I was the unlucky one to have it start to bubble after the expiration of the Warranty and I just have to deal with the expense of repairing it. This of course is my first and last Infiniti.

The company offers different variety of models so you can find one to fit your needs no matter what your priority is when buying a car at a worthy price for a great traveling vehicle. I wanted something safe to get me from one place to another and the car I got is very sleek and looks very fancy - like the bat mobile but safer and kids love it too! Theres a variety of colors available for inside and outside of the car and its easy to identify in a crowded parking lot. It fits about as much as most small cars - two in front including the driver and 3 in the back. When necessary it can fit more realistically.

I made an appointment for the dashboard recall for my 2005 Infiniti FX35. I arrived at the Long Branch, NJ Service Center early for my appointment, and received a loaner car. Within an hour, they called me to come back for the vehicle. Mind you, I live 40 miles away from the nearest Infiniti dealer. They told me I need to come back and make another appointment when the dash comes in. I asked them why would they have me come in for nothing then. They stated that we need to see if its normal wear and tear, or warranty. I said that If its a recall, then it should be replaced either way. They said, not if its normal wear and tear. It was a total waste of time and every time I go in there they want to charge for something. This time they tried to hit me with a $120 evaluation fee. I will never buy another Infiniti again! Also, they will not cover paint chips I have all over my front bumper. The paint just keeps peeling off and it looks like crap. Its a 50K vehicle, new. There is no reason why this should not be in the recall as well.

I am currently an owner of a G35, G35 Cpe, and a 2005 FX35. My biggest problem is with the FX. I have had a dashboard that bubbles and car seats that are ripped on the sides (which are now being covered by black duct tape). Now, my driver side seat is squeaking nonstop. Oh, I forgot about the rear view mirror that just fell off one day. I cannot believe the money that was spent on this car and the shape it is in. I hate driving it. If I was in any condition to purchase a new one, I would. I guarantee it would not be an Infiniti. I have never owned a car which seats rip the way they have. My daughters car, the 2003 Cpe, will start to blast cold air and not stop. But I was told a recall was only made on the sedan. Now that is just stupid. They are the same car. You, guys, make no sense. But I do believe when I go to purchase a new car, I will not get much for my FX because of the ripped and squeaked seats, and it will be your fault.

My Infiniti Q45 2002 with 85k miles suddenly shut off in the middle of the interstate while I was going about 65 mph and carrying my grandkids. I was able to get over into the zone between ongoing traffic and merging lanes and turn on the hazard lights otherwise there would have been a major collision. It was a nightmare. We were stuck there for about ten or fifteen minutes before I was able to get over to a shoulder and get towed. Infiniti needs to recall these vehicles. Were all at unnecessary risk. These vehicles are death traps. My blood pressure is through the roof today.

I bought a 2004 Infiniti FX 45 in 2007 for $33,000. I began getting terrible bubbles on black dashboard in approximately 2012. When I notified Infiniti, they referred me to consumer complaints. They reviewed it and determined since I missed deadline for which I did not know existed because I never was informed. They refused to pay anything and kindly told me it would cost $1300 to replace dashboard. I have never been so offended. Typically we buy Lexus or Audi but decided to go Infiniti this time bought a 2020 QX50. We’ve had this BRAND NEW CAR in the shop 8 times in 14 months each time being assured it’s fixed then it’s back in. Ok things happen so we gave Infiniti the option to just buy us out of the vehicle and we try something else but NO. They feel there’s nothing wrong with a new vehicle requiring this many trips to be repaired. SERIOUSLY? Speaks volumes about the company’s integrity in my opinion. My husband was going to buy me an Infiniti too (we got married April 1st) but after all the headaches of this vehicle I’m going 100% back to Lexus where they value their customers not only during the sell but throughout the entire time. I cannot support a company that cannot accept fault (accidents happen to ALL companies no big deal). It’s completely how the company handles it and this was hands down THE WORSE and they have now lost a life long customer and one that can and will use her voice to tell people what to expect when using Infiniti.

I leased a QX50 2019. July 16. 4 days in I got a flat. Infiniti towed my car to Kelly Infiniti. I went in for a surgery and in hospital-I had trust, they said my car had a scratch they would repair, I was home in bed not able to drive for 3-4 weeks. A single BC woman. They had my car for 25 days. My car came back with the whole drivers side repainted and horribly! This is ongoing since July, no one is owning up to this shoddy paint job and saying I bought the car that way I guess. Kelly Infiniti did it...Herb Chambers I bought the car from says they are with me...but Im on my own. No one wants to help me. Infiniti affairs cannot do much more for me because No one is admitting a horrible thing. I have a loaner and they say the car is mechanically good. But I take the hit for a terrible paint job??? They will not take the car back and its going to cost me money although I had nothing to do with this. DO NOT BUY AN INFINITI... I am heartbroken. They will pass the buck and not help you. It is so sad...

I am the owner of a 2007 G35. Out of nowhere, my engine blew on the freeway at 60K miles. I have worked on cars my whole life and serviced this vehicle properly. The warranty on it is 6 years 70K and it gave out on the 7th year. They denied my case. I talked with a variety of representatives for a MONTH and got nowhere. I bought an Infiniti with the belief that this was a quality car... What a disappointment. Unbelievable how fixing (or not fixing) an engine for a longtime Nissan/Infiniti customer is more important than keeping my business and the business of every single person I know. Luckily, I regained control when the engine gave out. Imagine if I didnt. Imagine if my wife and daughter were in the car. Despicable. Please contact me before you EVER think about buying a Nissan/Infiniti.

Ive owned my Infiniti G37 a little over 2 years. I recently noticed that the paint on my front bumper was peeling off. Since I live in No. California and purchased the car in So. California, I took it to our local Infiniti dealership and they indicated that someone had painted over the factory paint. Since I bought the car new and have never had work done to the front bumper, I knew that it wasnt me so it must have been done at the factory or Mission Viejo Infiniti where purchased. I called Mission Viejo Infiniti to discuss this and was told they had no record of anything being done to the bumper - of course they didnt. I then contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs and after being sent to 3 different reps, a month later an appointment was made for a rep to check out the paint on my car. Surprise - they said it wasnt the factory paint and they would not be doing anything to repair it.Im so angry right now that I just want to sell my car and have nothing more to do with Infiniti, Im going to try and see where else I can get my car serviced because I want nothing more to do with them and dont want to spend my hard earned dollars there. What kind of warranty is it if they wont take care of the problems that arise. This is very poor customer service!

Infiniti FX35 Dashboard bubbling - I got screwed by Infiniti. My dashboard started bubbling back in 2016 so I contacted Infiniti and told them about the problem only to be told that my car was out of warranty and that they could not do anything about it. But yesterday 10/23/17 I had my car serviced and was told by the dealership that the Bubbling was a recall issue. I was never told by Infiniti that this was a recall or an extended warranty was out for the bubbling issue. Im so disappointed in Infiniti because I never thought that they would leave their customers hanging on a expensive repair and not let us know in writing that this was an issue that they could repair. The fact that I contacted them back in Sept. of 2016 about this issue and their reply indicated that since I no longer had an warranty on the vehicle was why they could not fix it. They never mention that an extended warranty was out to fix this issue or when that extended warranty ended. So Im stuck with this ugly dash in a car that is suppose to be of luxury. Im hurt about the whole thing but at least now I know to never buy another one. Shame on you Infiniti! Look at all the repeat customers you could have had.

After being informed that there was an extended warranty issued and Infiniti would fix my dashboard, I called, the representative told me to get a work order from the dealer and it would be taken care of. I got the work order and called Infiniti Consumers back. I spoke with a different representative and he said he would open a case and I should receive a call from someone within two business days. He also noted that he seriously doubted that they would do anything because the warranty expired in November 2012. I received a call that same evening. Of course they told me the same thing he said. I was told that they sent out letters from their office to many address on file. Which she couldnt give to me. That was strange. My address should have been updated in their system since I frequent the Infiniti Dealer for regular maintenance. I was also surprised that this was never brought to my attention by the Dealership. For Infiniti to be luxury automotive dealer, they dont value the relationships of their customers. I was never notified of this cosmetic issue and did not receive adequate details on why. Infiniti has a good selection of sedans and SUVS, at affordable luxury prices. The Q60 comes in AWD, and has the colors I like. The Q60X is the SUV equivalent of the sedan version. The car is sporty, it has an attractive interior exterior. I bought it because I like the way the interior and how roomy and spacious it is. The features that caught my attention most were the bluetooth sync and the climate control feature which makes everyones ride a smooth one. The upgrades were impressive. I bought a pack that was surprisingly affordable. It included a rear view camera and heated front seats. Also dvd entertainment feature. Assisted parking was also a feature that I thought was handy. I have a 2006 Infiniti FX35 with transmission problems. I called the dealer and gave Mr. ** the option to replace the whole transmission for the estimated price of $7,000. The person that took my phone call even said that transmission problems normally happen around 100,000 miles and he emphasized that his best recommendation is to replace the whole transmission because if they only replace the valve body, I will probably have problems in the future with something else related with the transmission. Scam. They would rather make me spend a lot more money. They don’t lose. The front seat has several cracks on the vinyl part. As per the Infiniti dealer, its a wear and tear problem. How would a luxury car seat wear with just around 80,000 miles on it! I noticed online that its a common problem. They need to recall this cheap vinyl and replace it regardless of warranty. Now, the car is stuck just outside of warranty with the same issues and at my own expense. The 1995 Camaro with 200k original transmission RPM is better than my Infiniti. The steering on this car randomly starts turning left and sometimes right. It is NOT an alignment issue, the car literally makes a left turn if I do not hold on tight to the steering wheel. If I do let go, it will turn left across the highway just as if I turned the steering wheel to make a left turn. A few times the power steering has gone out altogether and that was very scary (if an auto-turning car isnt scary enough). The problem, though regular, is intermittent and the 6 or 7 times I have taken it to Infiniti, they have been unable to duplicate the problem. I have shown them multiple self-shot videos of the car turning by itself but they claim the car is working as designed and will do nothing about it. This IS A KNOWN issue and many others are complaining of the exact or similar issues with this car but it is clear that Infiniti chooses to wait for a few deaths or a class action suit before they do anything. This is my 4th and final Infiniti. I just want them to buy the car back because they obviously do not know why it is happening and they refuse a buyback, claiming the car is operating as designed. Its unimaginable to me since I feel my life is in imminent danger every time I drive it. Infiniti is a BAD company! I thought they were good but they are not. They are fine if everything goes well but when you need them to back their product, they do not. I paid $54,000 for this car, it only has 6K miles on it and it has been in the shop about 7 times and will go back when it starts doing it again. I can only hope I can get it there while the problem is happening because Infiniti is clearly denying the existence of any problem. I feel SO ripped off by this sleazeball company. 54 grand and Im totally screwed! I have contacted an attorney and they will pursue it but I also want Infiniti to pay the price by EVERYONE knowing what a scumbag company they really are. They would rather me die than get my dangerous car off the road. The problem still exists and likely will not go away and neither will I. Stay away from Infiniti!

My Infiniti 2003 G35 audio finisher circuit board is defective, which causes the audio and temperature controls to be inoperable. Nissan North America/Infiniti Division issued a 2003 G35 Sedan Audio Finisher voluntary service campaign, but is only covering sedans manufactured up through August 21, 2002. When I called to take steps for the repair of my 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan, I was informed my car was manufactured in December of 2002, and was outside of their voluntary service campaign, even though the defect is a known problem to the 2003 G35 sedans. I am concerned for my driving safety, knowing the AC/Heat is running full blast for the duration of my drive. I commute at least 500 miles from Monday-Friday (not including weekend driving), and I know this will put a huge strain on other mechanical systems in my car, and I can only imagine my time is short, before my entire car is rendered inoperable. Without Nissan honoring this repair, or until I can afford to repair the defect myself, my car has no value even as a trade in. I will never buy another Nissan/Infiniti product, and will start my own personal campaign to convince other consumers, not to buy a Nissan product either.

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan V6. The air system is stuck on auto and my audio (radio) and rear defroster no longer works. I have no control whatsoever on the entire air system. The problems started in 2009, as I lost control off, and on until about six months ago when everything went dead. I had recall work done on the audio circuit board in 2003 and now that Infiniti dealership in Guelph told me that it is the same part which is at fault. This diagnosis cost me 57 dollars. I called the Woodchester dealership in Mississauga that did the original warranty work and they told me that they no longer will back their work because the Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board recall is over with. This is a total scam that Nissan has managed to sidestep even though they issued a recall. They replaced my part, all right, but this same part was again faulty and an obvious health and safety concern exists here. As far as I am concerned, they should once again replace this faulty part since they probably replaced it with a new one that again is faulty. How can I possibly drive this car when no front windshield air or rear defrost exists especially with winter fast approaching. The least they can do is pay for the part again since the dealership wants to charge me approximately 1700 dollars to replace both the circuit board and the radio. If I dont get satisfaction out of this I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. There are so many people complaining about this. It is pretty laughable that no one from the government has forced the issue. I guess that will be my next step. Whats your move Nissan? Are you gonna take the responsibility for the vehicle you made or are you gonna wait till someone gets killed because they cant see the road while they are driving?

I purchased 2004 i35 with 46k miles. While still under factory warranty, I noticed oil consumption. I took it to the dealer to start an OCT. By the time they were done, after several 20 mile trips per 1,000 miles to check how much she was consuming, the warranty ran out. I contacted Infiniti customer service. They told me the issue is normal for the 2004 i35. Industry has went from sugar to .... I owned 2000 Maxima with no issues and no oil consumption from 58k to 123k. I thought I was upgrading, wrong! $400.00 note per month. I shouldnt need to add oil to a car barely broken in. **. Never again will this happen.

I have a 2005 Infiniti FX35 with constant brake problems, a bubbled dashboard and a driver’s seat that just split in 3 different areas. Ive contacted Infiniti’s consumer affairs only to be told that excessive weight on the seat is the reason it split. What?! I weigh 115 pounds - that is not possible. I am in the process of compiling information and examples of other owners who have the same problems. I am writing a letter to my states attorney general and also to the Better Business Bureau. I dont have the finances to keep replacing brakes every 6 months and the $3,000 just for the material to replace my seat.

I have had 8 Infinitis in a row, mostly leases. The vast majority have been fantastic experiences. Recently, however, I am left looking for another brand after this lease has expired. I have had issues for over 2 years now with my map screen, radio, and bottom screen going out every 7 minutes since I purchased the vehicle. I have brought the vehicle back numerous time and they have replaced numerous components to no avail. Finally, the service technician figured out what the issue was and, after having my car at the shop for 2 weeks trying to get Infiniti to pay for the TCU, they finally figure out the problem.I contacted Consumer Affairs in hope of getting some fair recompense for my 2 years of inconvenience (I travel a lot in my vehicle, so every 7-minute glitch was extremely aggravating). They agreed to make 2 payments. I was hoping for quite a bit more, maybe I am being selfish, but I spent over 10k on this lease and never has it worked as it shouldve. I asked for them to pay the rest of my lease (10 payments left) or give me an incentive for my next vehicle, and got road blocked by the agent. Every time I called, it routed back to the same guy who would not allow me to speak to any supervisor or anyone other than him. Needless to say, I will not be leasing or buying another Infiniti. It was a great run, but all good things must come to an end I guess.

I have a 2009 Infiniti G37x AWD, and at this point, I regret buying an Infiniti and will never buy one again. I have had the car 11 months. It had 67k miles on it when I bought it. Now it has about 83k. About two weeks ago, while driving down the interstate, the service engine soon light comes on. The next day I call the dealer and they say bring it in Monday. My catalytic converter has gone out, which will cost $1,500.00 to replace. I pay to have that replaced. I pick the car up on Tuesday, and Thursday the light comes on again. I take it back to the dealer, and within five seconds, the service tech says, Yep, now it’s your other one.” It’s another $1,500.00 to replace. I just got in the car and drove off. After filing a complaint with my local BBB and Infiniti Consumer Affairs, they offer to pay for the other being replaced. But ICA has to send a credit card to me with the amount they agreed to pay before they can replace the part, and they still have to order it. After speaking to Michele today, she then tells me it could take 4 weeks to get this credit card. These cars are cheaply made. I absolutely hate the 7-SPD transmission really. I could have just got an Altima. It basically looks just like it. Note to all, don’t buy these cars. They are no good as I’ve seen in previous statements. Get a Lexus!

Hi, angry and disappointed Infiniti customer here. I purchased my 2004 Infiniti Fx35 back in 2011. I was very happy with my vehicle until I came back from boot camp. U.S Marines and noticed that my dashboard was bubbling up all over. It look ugly. I feel embarrassed to give people rides. I dont like this car anymore. I did some research about this, and found out that I was not alone. There are hundreds of Infiniti customers who are on the same boat as I am. Most of them took advantage of the extended warranty, which I did not know anything about, did not receive a letter, was not notified until it was already too late.I called my dealership where I bought the vehicle, and they simply said I needed to pay a little over $1,000 to have it replaced. Thats ridiculous! And a little crazy. Like I mentioned above, I am not a happy customer. Called the Infiniti customer affairs number, and they were not willing to help with this matter issue. Case closed. Im screwed.

There are exceptional vehicles available through Infiniti. From Sporty sedans to family friendly SUVs, there is going to be a car for everyone at Infiniti. There are also a number of different packages and upgrades available. There will be something for everyone. Whether you are interested in a sport package, cold weather package, family upgrades, you will be able to find what you are looking for. There is also very good customer service throughout the life of the car you purchase. My Infiniti (which was an FX 35) was the first five passenger vehicle I had ever ridden in that was actually comfortable for all 5 of the passengers. The design and feel of the seats was only to be believed when ridden in. Infiniti has a distinctive luxury look. Whether one year old or ten years old they are a car that will make people turn and look.

I have leased two vehicles from Infiniti, a G35 and a G37. I had no problem when my lease was up on the G35, because I went right into another lease on the G37. I leased the vehicle for 39 months. At the end of the lease term I opted to return the car to the dealership (March 2014). Several months after I turned in the car I received a bill for $300.00, which they said was for processing the return of my leased vehicle (which by the way was in excellent condition and only had 26K miles on it)... Well, okay, so I paid that. I get home from work yesterday to find a letter from a collection agency. It seems that Infiniti sent me to a collection agency for $59.23 that I owed them for the personal property taxes on the car for January - March 4, when I returned the car. One would think that after having a 6 year relationship with Infiniti - paying my payments in a timely manner and ALL personal property taxes that I had to pay to them, someone would pick up the phone and make a phone call to verify that I had received the bill for the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe them. But no, they just sent me to collections. I JUST received the actual bill from Infiniti a few days ago. I would like to just say, Thank you Infiniti and I will not ever consider leasing or buying another Infiniti again! I am not sure why after 6 years they would think that I would not pay the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe. I paid them thousands... crazy!!

Having worked on and been a part of numerous Infiniti car company dealerships over the last 15 yrs, and now finally owning one of their products, its come to my attention that their brand quality is largely compromised. My situation is as follows. Having a late model Infiniti that was bought used, I concluded nothing is perfect and things would need to be fixed. However, I have never owned a vehicle with a melting dashboard. Having fixed numerous dashboards over the years for Infiniti on the FX models in 2009 to 2011, it had occurred to me that there are many other models with the same problem all the way up until 2012. The dash will crack and ultimately degrade to the point where it is unable to be cleaned/touched or even looked it through the window due to high amounts of glare it produces when driving (melting area becomes very shiny) understood the vehicle is out of warranty, but Infiniti has no remedy or cause for concern to fix these problem cars dashboards. I know there are plenty out there too. No wonder Lexus is the company to be.

I purchased my 2013 JX35 in August 2016 from Infiniti South Atlanta with almost 50k miles on it. I received the pre certified warranty was not offered any other warranty on the car leaving with the impression I did not need any other warranty. I have brought my vehicle for the required maintenance and oil changes. I received calls monthly asking if I would like to trade my car in because of low mileage and excellent condition of the vehicle. The answer is always no. Fast forward to December 2018. My driver side headlight goes out. I take it to the dealership to repair. There is a leak that has caused the headlight to go out. It is not covered under the warranty. The cost is 2k parts and labor. I was beyond shock.Today, I called consumer affair to discuss this defect and obtain some type of assistance. She took my information down and placed me on hold for about 5 to 6 minutes. She came back and stated that I do not qualify for Goodwill assistance because: I have only owned by vehicle for 2 years. I have only spent roughly $500 with them. I have only had 1 Infiniti vehicle. So basically, they refuse to help me because I have kept my vehicle in great condition and only needed to bring it in on the required maintenance schedule and regular oil changes. I asked to speak with someone else. She pretty much told me the buck stopped with her. I will never buy another Infiniti again. Horrible, horrible!

I purchased the flagship Infiniti QX56 on March 27th 2017 from an Infiniti Dealership here in the North East. As of today I havent even put 2500 miles on the vehicle and its been the dealers service 3 times. The A.C. fan coupler and battery drain issues. The battery was just installed by the previous owner in 2015 at an Infiniti dealer and clearly reads that it has an 84 month warranty. However, Mandie from Infinitis North East Consumer Affairs Region stated that the battery warranty was only good for the prior customer and does not carry over to me. I would have to purchase a new battery from them for the tune of $180.00. My dispute was it made no sense because if a battery installed by the dealer with a clear record of warranty from Infiniti who cares who owns it 1st, 2nd or 3rd. The warranty should cover the battery not the person. Im not the only person having these battery drain issues and Infiniti is well aware that their vehicles are doing this. A lot of the online blogs Im reading is that the Infiniti has been experiencing issues with their batteries lasting 2 years max then they start dying. I think they should be investigated.

I have a 2006 FX35. We buy these expensive cars because we expect them to last. I have maintained my car impeccably. I do have 175,000 miles and certainly expect things to wear out. However, when the airbag sensor wears out and starts to blink and the tire pressure sensor remains on, I did not expect it to be $1200 for each to repair!!! The front seal needs to be replaced at another $1200 because of how it is mounted. Come on Infiniti, really? Now I am screwed because I cant even sell the car without fixing the problems. It will cost me 40% of the value of the car to be able to sell it. I dont know if the airbags are safe or not. Maybe I should go back to Toyota or Ford where at least the repairs are reasonable.

I, too, own a 2003 G-35 and have had the expense of $670 to change out the radio circuit board. The repair shop tried to go through Infiniti but my VIN was outside of the range of the recalled vehicles. I think it is ridiculous that with the volume of complaints, Infiniti only chooses to replace a few. The problem was not limited to this specific range of vehicles as can be seen in the many message boards that continue to be the voice of many dissatisfied consumers. I really want Infiniti to make it right with the people who purchased their product and now, have had to be out the expense of the repairs. The radio doesnt work at all and CDs got stuck in the CD player for almost one year.I have read other forums which surprisingly, other people had same issues. Therefore, I am urging the Customer Affairs to please, please take this matter seriously since the battery drainage is connected to the wires. You can imagine if something goes wrong with the wires, what would happen to the driver? This is a safety issue. The Miller Infiniti dealership told me that the stereo system is an Infiniti issue and they knew about it. Im quite surprised that the manufacturer knows about the wiring issue and still failed to do something about it or make a recall. There are many costumers that were told that the battery drain is a result of amplifier and radio wires.

After doing an internet search I found that this is a known issue with Infinitys dating back to 2008 and therefore making the cars a target. I would like to have Infinity fix this issue with our car and others so that the windows will not just roll down when a screw driver is jammed into the key entry. Possible solutions: Disable the roll down feature, remove key cylinder or other. At this time they will do nothing and the dealership will not comment on the known issue. However I have dealt with 3 different service advisors all promising the same yet I am still waiting to see any results. I was overcharged for a service that my pre paid maintenance covered. When I brought it up to the first advisor she basically said it wasnt her job to look it up but I can bring the paperwork in if I can prove it. When I finally got in with the paperwork guess what she no longer worked there. Astonishing. I was then sent to another advisor who promised me he would send this up. Didnt hear anything from him so in may I came into your dealership to find out whats going on and guess what he doesnt work there now either. Now on to my third interaction again let me make some copies and sent this up. Which leads me to today my call to find out whats going on to only be told by your associate there is nothing I can do over the phone let me send it up. I explained at this point that is unacceptable. I need assurances. The service advisor continued to talk over me and showed no empathy to how ridiculous this process has been for me and even decided to tell me there is nothing that he can do for me and hang up on me. I really hope those calls are recorded because this is not how you should treat your customer. Thoroughly disgusted. I bought a G37 IPL edition not because I like to have an 700 to 800 payment. I am about to pull out what little hair I have left! We purchased a fully loaded JX35 5/13/2013. Soon after we started to experience transmission problems. The car would shake and jerk between 20-30 mph. We returned the car to Infiniti of Manhattan in 6/1/2013. The service department couldnt provide us with an answer as to when the car would be returned or provide us with an answer as to what is wrong with the car. 6/15/2013 they informed us they would need a new transmission! So we demanded that the get us a new car because this car is obviously defective. The car had less than 300 miles on it at the time of replacement. They told we will not get a replacement contact Infiniti USA. We did and they told us they will do everything to fix the problem. Meanwhile, the transmission had to be ordered from Japan. The car was returned to us 7/16/2013. We made two car payments on a car that we didnt have. Now not even a year later with 7000 miles on the car the transmission fails again! No answer as to when the car will be returned same silence from Infiniti USA. I have tried to break lease, unable to. We have contacted New York State Department of Consumer Affairs awaited their help. Save your money. DONT BUY THIS CAR OR ANY CAR FROM INFINITI!!!!

I called Infiniti about a bubbling dashboard on my 2006 Infiniti FX35. I am the original owner on the vehicle and have lived at the same address 25+ years. They told me it was a manufacturing defect and letters were sent out and they are not responsible if I never received it! This vehicle has been garaged the entire time I have owned it and only has 52,000 miles on it. I am very upset that I spent so much money on this vehicle and the dashboard is pretty much ruined due to a manufacturing defect that I was never notified about. I will never buy another Infiniti product and will warn everyone I know about this poor customer service and a supposed luxury brand!!!

Im surprised not to read of more consumer dissatisfaction with Infiniti and their Dealers over the End Of Life of the JX35 and the replacement with an identical vehicle named QX60. I purchased a top of the range new JX35 in early July 2013. Of course , I knew it was a 2013 Model but I was shocked to find out that 3 weeks later (on July 19th) Infiniti replaced the JX35 with the QX60 under model year 2014 , in July 2013! Of course the dealer did not tell me anything about that forthcoming change. In fact they denied that a Hybrid was being released imminently when I specifically asked them about that (I subsequently learned that was announced in a press release in March 2013). I am now on a mission to get out of my JX35. I can only believe that the actions of Infiniti and the surprising behaviors of their authorized dealer will otherwise cost me significantly in 2 or 3 years time when I try and feel or trade in this now obsolete JX35 on a 2013 model purchased in July 2013 when the new QX60 (exact same vehicle, Im sure they changed the badges off vehicles on the sales lot!) was launched 2-3 weeks later as a 2014 model. I mean, if you were shopping for a pre-owned Infiniti, what would you buy?

I like a nut not only did I buy one Infinti (QX60) but I bought the second one, a G37. The QX60 a week after I bought the Gas gauge was reading Zero mile with a 1/4 tank of Gas. I got told it was bad gas, then I was told Im driving down hill so that affects it. Then I was told the Infiniti corporate had to assess the SUV. It took them 2 tries and they replaced the entire Gauge system. Then I had issues with the Transmission. Took it countless time and they kept saying that the software needed to be upgraded. After filing a complaint they replaced the Trans and it took over 9 months to get it done. Then I bought a G37 certified. I thought buying a certified would get me a better value and it would be reliable. It started to leak Differential fluid. Was told the Diff overheated and it leaked fluid. Then the Tires got a nail and they refused to fix them, when they said that it was covered under the maintenance. I have to say the SERVICE FROM INFINITI IS POOR AT BEST. IF YOU CALL INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIR AND GET AMANDA HANG UP and wait the 30 days and get someone else. If you ask for a manager and Tommy. Hang up as he will give you lip service. Buy a Lexus or Acura!!!

Purchased a fully loaded Infiniti JX35 FY13 and owned it for just over a year. Someone pulled out in front of me and ended up hitting them in the back of their vehicle. My Infiniti ended up with damage to the front bumper, hood and right quarter panel. I dropped off the vehicle to be repaired in October 2013 and now I sit here writing this article six weeks later after getting into a conversation with both Infiniti and Courtesy Collision auto repair. Essentially, I am in a circle jerk as both parties keep pointing fingers at each other over a part from a company called Hunter which is required to complete the calibration of my car. The repair shop states car was done two weeks ago and cant complete the work until Infiniti supplies them with this sensor. When I check with Infiniti, they told me I was the first person in the USA to have a front end accident with this vehicle so they didnt have any of these parts available yet. I find this unacceptable that a luxury vehicle mfg can not repair vehicles they have sold a year after first customer shipment. I am also surprised I am the only person to have had an accident in this type vehicle. Either a testament to the safety of this vehicle or really bad luck on my part. It now looks like I will not see my vehicle until early 2014 (3 months). There is no guarantee since Hunter cannot provide a solid date for delivery of the item. Infiniti wont help me, auto repair shop wont give me vehicle back because systems in the car can go haywire without this part so here I sit making payments and losing precious time on my warranty! Bottom line: if you end up in an accident in your JX35, they cannot repair your car. Buyer BEWARE!!!

My cars strut tower broke due to corrosion. When it broke, the steering shaft also broke resulting in total loss of steering, and damage to spiral cable causing failure to drivers air bag, horn, cruise, and radio controls. At that time I notified Nissan/Infiniti, and was basically told, Too bad, youre on your own. Maybe if executives would start going to jail for safety issues due to their gross negligence, it may prevent injuries and deaths.

Terrible experience altogether. The Infiniti vehicle I leased didnt impress me at all especially for the money I was paying for it. The customer service was terrible. The hidden fees were added. $500 charges for two minor scratches. Deposition fee that I never agreed to and found out that they were added to my contract only in the end of my lease. So after my 39 months lease was over, Infiniti sent me invoice for another $1000. Their customer service is useless. They dont care about customer satisfaction and brand reputation, they care only about money. I will never ever again purchase or lease Infiniti or Nissan vehicle. Prior to leasing Infiniti I had Acura and what a difference it was. The car, the service, and I didnt have to pay a penny extra after my lease was over. Stay away from these people.

I purchased a QX56 which is their most expensive SUV. The lights started to fog up after it rained or snowed, so I took it to our local Nissan dealer who told me they would not do the warranty work because I did not purchase the vehicle from them. I called Infiniti and asked what my options were. After 3 calls and 54 minutes on the phone, they told me to go to another Infiniti dealer which is a 12-hour drive door to door or pay cash to have the local Nissan/Infiniti dealer do the work and submit the receipts for reimbursement to Infiniti Canada, who then will decide after the work is done whether they will cover the headlights ($1200 each). I should have bought a GM or Ford product!

2015 Infiniti Q40 + ANDROID PHONE??? RUN! This sophisticated brand is actually worse than their Nissan version of the car... 2015 and you cant stream music from anything except Apple devices?!? Ludicrous... Not only that, but performance wise this car sucks. Loud rattling engine when given power, outdated audio and controls screen, horrible defrost... The list could go on and on. Nissan motors corporation should honestly clean house and figure out a new strategy... Flooding the market with your chintzy product- which severely decreases trade in values for owners, paired with outdated features and technology is one way to lose your following... I used to have Infiniti on a higher pedestal... Now when people ask how I like it or that theyve considered buying one, I tell them this piece of garbage is a base Altima... Buy a Lexus, Acura, Toyota or Honda... Pffttt... Buy a freaking Chevy Cruze for a better driver experience. Way to go Infiniti. You suck.

Upon purchase of our new JX35, wipers did not work day of purchase. Drove home from dinner in rain w/o wipers. Car was then recalled for a rotor problem. Then on Oct. 20, 2013 at 10 months with under 5,000 miles, the entire dash went blank. Our connected cell phone heated up and we drove home because we were leaving for two weeks to CA. When we returned, we called the dealer because our new car was dead! A tow truck took the car to the dealership on 11/5/2013. We were told it would take 2 days to get a part and repair. Now, Nov. 10, 2013 and still no sign of when the new 2013 JX35 will be repaired. We no longer trust the car since we believe all the electronics and wiring received extensive damage in the electrical malfunction. We have requested a buy back by Infiniti to trade for a new Infiniti. We do not know if anyone else has had any similar electrical problems. We had serviced this car at Infiniti in July for regular maintenance and had not used the auto much since that service! We are awaiting confirmation from Infiniti that they will swap the defective lemon JX35 for a new vehicle!!! We feel this should have been resolved with the dealer long before now!!

My 2007 FX35, which only has 50K miles on it, has several cracks on the vinyl part. Per Infiniti dealer, it’s a wear and tear problem. How would a luxury car seat wear just around 40-50K miles on it! In April 2014 I leased a brand new Infiniti Q 50 for 3 years (39 months). During the lease I maintained and serviced my Infiniti Q 50 exclusively at the Infiniti dealership where I purchased it. At approximately 24,000 miles I replaced all four tires. In June 2017 I turned in my vehicle, One month early and with 35994 miles, 3000 less miles than I could have used. I had the salesman who had sold me the car look at it and he thought it was in very good condition. I had never been in an accident with it or run into anything. I read the excessive wear and use explanation and thoroughly went through the car myself. The only thing I found was road rash on one of the tire rims, and a very small dent (a quarter) on one of the doors. No paint was missing/damaged.Later that week I asked my service personnel to retrieve a copy of the inspection on the car. I received it and waited for my final statement. I was not purchasing another Infiniti or having another lease. I think this is noteworthy. I immediately sent a check for my last months lease payment and the disposition fee and tax totaling $824.19. This statement from the actual inspection state chargeable and non-chargeable items. In the chargeable item column the curb rash $55, Front bumper $80, and right front door no paint needed $88. Totaling $223. Non-chargeable damage included the hood at $116 and the rear bumper $10. They noted all the tires were OK. Total for all damage was $349.When I received my statement from Infiniti their itemized wear and use was $1132 plus 6% tax 67.92 = $1192.92. They are charging me for wear and use on both rear tires which have less than 12,000 miles on them, scratches on the front bumper and the wheel (this charge is the only one thats exactly like the estimate that the third-party inspection gave $55). Theyre even charging me for a manual that I personally checked and was there $15 Ive never even taken it out of the car. All the charges except for the wheel are massively inflated and I feel like Im being taken advantage of because I didnt buy a new car from them or lease another vehicle. I would be willing to pay the $349 from the original inspection which is probably fair. Please help me. Ive called them, spoken to supervisor, emailed them my copy and I never heard back from them. Now its almost time for the money to be due and Ive been messing around with this for two months.

I bought a brand new 2010 G37 in Blue Slate. Soon after taking it home, I noticed that I was getting chips in the paint. At first I thought nothing of it and chalked it up to road hazards. Well, I must have 50 chips all over the car’s hood, roof, front and rear quarter panels - it’s just crazy. I have never owned a vehicle that chips as easily as this Infiniti. I contacted consumer affairs and was told there were no recalls for this at this time. They told me to bring the car to a local Infiniti dealer for an assessment. The service manager ** at Circle Infiniti looked at it. He said, “Yep, there are chips all over the car.” He took some pictures and told me to have consumer affairs contact him. I just received a call from Infiniti’s consumer affairs who told me that the chips were natural. Are you kidding me? Infiniti sucks and I would never buy another vehicle from them.

I have a 2008 G37 under warranty until 9/17/2012. My drivers side floor was experiencing a leak. When I went to the Infiniti dealership of Manhattan, I was informed that the car door had either been worked on or it had been into an accident (an accident on the top of the front door? Pretty sure the Mr. ** was making up excuses to charge me). Mr. ** then proceeded to say that the window is not put in the right spot and is very complicated to get it fixed. The cost was going to be $285. I declined as I see this as red flag. He then told me I have to pay the $139 diagnostic fee, which is unacceptable. I was in no mood to get cheated as I see this as one. I then told him I did not have the means to pay for it. Luckily, he was nice enough to take care of that for me. This company policy practice is unfriendly. How can a luxury brand like Infiniti have such poor customer service?

Over the last 2 weeks I have developed several bubbles on the dash of my Infiniti FX35. I had previously noticed just a couple bubbles in a inconspicuous area of the dash, so I didnt think too much about it. Since over the weekend they spread like wildfire. I looked it up on the internet - it is a known defect of the adhesive. I promptly called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and they have refused to fix the problem or make right by it. They stated that my warranty was up in May of this year and stated lack of Customer Service Loyalty. Translation: I havent been to an Infinity dealer for service which would prove I am loyal, weak argument. I explained that is because the closest dealer is 40 miles away and I have a mechanic for routine maintenance. I also explained I never received notice of this known defect. It didnt matter to them. 2013 Infiniti G37 S Coupe - Drivers leather seat color wore off in one year. Infiniti replaced the back seat cover under warranty. Infiniti has declined to repair this and states, This meets our quality standard but will not provide me with any documentation as to what criteria they are inspecting to. The seat did not have any wrinkles prior to the dealer replacing the cover. A $50,000 car should not have these defects, especially on a new cover less than 60 days old. Both dealerships refusing to diagnose my car. All they do is balance tires and saying everything is fixed or just keep denying that there is vibration. They simply refuse to take car and diagnose it as it will require taking suspension apart and checking each part individually and can take time do.Since it is not 1 hour diagnosing job they just lie into my face that balancing fixed it or that they can’t feel anything. They will not even take it for normal test drive. My car under bumper to bumper warranty but dealership simply denying me service. I am forced to take car to independent mechanic to diagnose issue and then pay for repair myself. I buy cars every 3 years and will never bring my business to Infiniti again.
