Ford Motor Company is an American multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. It was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated on June 16, 1903. The company sells automobiles and commercial vehicles under the Ford brand, and luxury cars under its Lincoln luxury brand. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is controlled by the Ford family; they have minority ownership but the majority of the voting power.

In the burgeoning mid-size, two-row crossover segment, the aging Ford Edge remains a sharp contender, with a quiet cabin and lots of standard features. It's the best five-seat offering in Ford's SUV lineup, occupying the real estate between the all-new Escape and fresh Explorer. The interior looks a bit long in the tooth, but the seats are cushy and the cabin is hushed, with enough space to comfortably contain four adults. The two flavors of powertrain satisfy distinctive tastes: a fuel-efficient 250 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder or the Edge ST's peppy twin-turbo V-6 and its class-leading 335 ponies. Ford's Co-Pilot360 suite of driver-assistant features includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and automated emergency braking is standard on all trim levels. The Edge's exterior design makes it hard to distinguish if it's coming or going, but the progression through the trim levels accentuate its curb appeal.

I'm having Ford Fiesta 2014 sE. DUE TO RECALL IN CLUTCH I HAVE SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY CLUTCH REPLACEMENT FOR TODAY, May 24, 2016 at Edmonton, AB at 91 STREET. But they have not received clutch from USA and asked me to go back for 3rd time. In past the service guys have done the same thing, they called me to service station and then asked me to go back. Do they do communication in between? Or at least notify your customer before they arrived. I have changed my working shift because of them for 3rd time and what I got at the end: nothing. Poor service. Very Upset with the customer service they are offering.

My 1995 Ford F-150 was at work and had been sitting for 3 hours and self ignited and burned to the ground. The fire inspector said it was the speed control switch. I don't Ford will do anything about it, but they knew about this problem. I am reading online that many of these trucks self ignite and burn. That's the last Ford I will own!!

I was initially very excited about what appeared to be very positive changes at Ford, and purchased both an F150 FX4 pickup, and a Lincoln MKC SUV. Nice to feel good again about buying American vehicles. But I learned the hard way that Ford does a terrible job of standing behind their products. With the F150 truck, there was a brake booster recall that took months to resolve. And they will use any excuse to not honor warranties. On the truck, bubbling rust started to appear on one of the running boards with less than 30,000 miles on the vehicle. When I initially went to the local dealer to have the truck washed and have this looked at, they told me to come back because the car wash wasn't working. I came back 2 weeks later (the dealer is not convenient to get to) and was told that even though the truck had less than 30,000 miles, it was now 11 days out of warranty and Ford might not cover the repair. The claim was submitted and Ford denied it. Yet clearly this rust problem did not just magically appear just after the warranty expired. Fords decision to not honor this minor claim shows how little they value their customers. And that they don't stand behind their products. As the saying goes - people vote with their feet. Thankfully there are many worthy competitors that prioritize customer service. I have learned a lesson and will never buy another Ford product.

Back in 2005 I purchased a brand new 2005 Ford Freestar, it had a faulty torque converter, and was replaced in 2013. Now then 1 year later I had the same problem (torque converter). I just got off the phone with a tech. at the Ford dealer and told him what happened... he said it's not covered "a recall is a 1 time fix", so even though they replaced my torque converter with another faulty 1 it's not their problem... I don't think that's fair, but then again what do I know, I'm just a consumer... What can a person do???

My dad had an accident in his 2007 Ford Taurus two weeks ago. His airbags did not deploy. He was wearing his seatbelt but they did not lock like they were supposed to. He suffered a bad cut on his forehead when his head hit the steering wheel, and has knocked him unconscious. He died a few days ago. If the airbag had inflated, it probably would've saved his life. Instead, now I have no father.

Like any Ford product the company issues TSB`s, but not recalls. The Edge has issues with warning lights especially the YOU ARE NOT IN PARK warning. They will not recognize this and will have to be repaired at the owner's expense.

Fiesta ST - I felt intermittent "squeaking" and occasional friction in mine and deeply regret not taking it to the dealer the moment I noticed it. Obviously something was defective from the start and now I'm bumming rides from friends to work and borrowing my ex's car to get my kids to and from their summer camps. To make matters worse, the car's been dead in the none-too-helpful dealer's repair shop for three weeks. Pretty frightening episode, too, since the car stopped dead on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago with heavy 60 MPH traffic and no shoulder.Called 911 who dispatched a tow truck but it was a tense fifteen minutes of desperately waving unsuspecting drivers around my dead Ford. It's a nice car: good performance and practical, but if the manufacturer doesn't back what they sell better to buy from a more reliable brand like Honda, Toyota, Mazda, or Subaru who have all served me well in the past. I'll avoid Ford in the future in favor of automakers that provide real warranties and better reliability.

I own a 2006 Ford LCF truck purchased May 2007 cost $32,000.00. But after 7 years and 46000 miles, the repair and tow cost me over $17,000.00. Nov. 2009, mileage 19419 - replace starter and belt tensioner $1,600.00. Dec 2011, mileage 34983 - replace 2 fuel injector, main computer, cam sensor, crank sensor, $2,772.45. After talked to customer service the bill is $5,400.00. Dec 2013, mileage 46000 - replace all (6) fuel injector, $3,31.37 and oil pump $1,956.10. The truck still not fixed right. Then I brought the truck to a Ford dealer in **. They said there is another repair needs to be done. The fuel tank and whole fuel system is contaminate - will cost me $3,500.00 because the lining of the tank is contaminated and Ford Corp knows about this defect parts and doing nothing. I talked the person in charge of the commercial truck department. They said it is true about the tank, but they also say it is the oil company.

My 2018 Ford Transit Connect Titanium car that my wife and children drive we started noticing the car having hard times to turn left or right. We discovered that the carpet floor mat keeps getting sucked underneath the dash because of the turning mechanism from the steering wheel. I’m sure this is going to be a recall that nobody’s noticed yet but it is very dangerous. If my wife God forbid was to make a turn in the carpet gets stuck in the steering mechanism it would keep it from turning the way she’s going and can cause an accident. I don’t know where to go from here. Someone please help. Thanks again.

Bought used in Nov 2014. After 3 days the smell of gas was overwhelming. Returned to dealer to discover there was a recall. It has been at the dealer ever since (9 months). Ford has been renting us a car since then! No word on ever getting it back.
