Hyundai Motor Company, often abbreviated to Hyundai Motors and commonly known as Hyundai, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967.

The 2021 Hyundai Venue is a subcompact crossover that has surprising interior space and desirable features at an affordable price. The little Hyundai's small size and agile handling make it perfect for zipping around urban areas. However, its underpowered engine and restless highway behavior make it feel slow and clumsy on Interstates. It gets noisy at highway speeds too. Every model has automated emergency braking and lane-departure warning as well as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Despite its budget-friendly pricing, Hyundai outfits the tiny ute with an attractive interior that looks and feels more upscale than competitors such as the Nissan Kicks and Toyota C-HR. All the aforementioned positives make the 2021 Venue a perfect choice for urbanites who aren't planning on using it for long highway trips.

Product Reviews:

I drove many cars in my life, I never, never experienced what I am experiencing with a piece of junk like the 2017 Tucson. Hesitation, jerking, loss of power. Miraculously few times I avoided to get into a very big accident also very uncomfortable. Driver seat, complain to Consumer Affairs get nowhere! A bunch of liars! They tell you to go to the dealers and the dealers tells you to call Hyundai... I really hope this company, take their ** back to SK.

OEM radio not covered under any warranty. I have a 2015 Santa Fe. One hour after I took delivery, a HID headlight started flickering. Astonishingly, Hyundai denied the claim initially as it's a ‘wear and tear’ part. An hour old… Eventually, they caved and replaced it. 3 years later, the Infotainment unit started looping on startup. Despite their vaunted 5-year warranty, and the 7-year extended Hyundai branded warranty I bought, it's not covered. $4000 OEM, and Hyundai could not have cared-less if they tried. Do not trust hyundai – not the car, not the company, not the warranty. Not even the dealership. Avoid at all costs. And costs be sure!

I bought an extended warranty to 10 years/100,000 miles. Yet, anytime I have a warranty issue Hyundai refuses to honor the warranty. Radiator fails - they decline, O2 Sensor fails - they decline, Struts fail - they decline. What did I pay additional monies for to have the extended warranty?

I own a 2013 Hyundai Veloster, first new car I've ever purchased. My vehicle roof corroding due to poor manufacturing. Long story short I've done the whole process for approval with the dealer (Ron **) and "Hyundai" claims the corrosion coverage is only 3/36. This is not what my owner's manual says. It states 7/unlimited miles. I've contacted Hyundai "so-called" customer care on now 5 different occasions. NONE of the people I have spoke with have ever contacted me back with resolution. The customer care line is a huge waste of time. No one there is capable of answering any question. They don't know their own manufacturer's policy and procedures. It is appalling that Hyundai even claims them as "customer care." Furthermore my 3-year-old vehicle should not have a roof that is corroding. It's super frustrating to be told that you cannot talk to anyone who can help. All I wanted was the time of day and someone to assist me with my concern. Instead I got the runaround for a month. A huge headache, super frustrated, no call back from anyone ever, and worst of all no answers. Do not buy any Hyundai product as they do not honor or even know their warranty policy. I will be heard on this concern as no one deserves to be treated like this.

I stumbled upon this website when reading about tires, and was surprised to see virtually every car company with such horrendous reviews. Then I realized it's merely a sounding board for angry people with car troubles. I just wanted to share a little about my little 2013 Elantra GT. I bought it new, have done all maintenance in my garage, have used nothing but full synthetic oil and Hyundai brand parts (filters, etc to avoid warranty issues), and in return? It's been hands down the best car I've ever owned. Nothing has failed in the first 3 years, 40,000 miles. No car I've ever owned has accomplished that. It rides like it's brand new, no squeaks, no rattles, no nothing. Comfortable as can be, averages 32 in the city, 36 on the highway. I've owned many compacts in my life, none have come even close to this level of ride quality. Simply put, we love the car. It's our first Hyundai, and we would buy another in a heartbeat. And basically, this is merely a message to take everything you read online with a grain of salt. Including my review. Occasionally, you're going to get a car that's awful. I had one. 2012 Impala, kept it 9 months. It went back to the garage under warranty 11 times in those 9 months. Eventually, you just have to make a judgment call. Do you keep a car that's been nothing but problems? Or do you try something else. We now own a Hyundai and a Nissan and have been thrilled with them. Will I ever buy another Chevrolet? Sure! I just got a lemon. It happens. It totally stinks, but it happens.

In February, I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Ltd. I was looking for an efficient, low MPG car and was pleased to hear that Hyundai offered a car with up to 40 MPGs highway. I don't feel that I do get the best mileage for combined city/highway, but this is not my issue. Last month on September 8, 2011, I hit a pothole. I called AAA and was informed by them that I had to be towed because there was no spare. I was shocked. I had to be towed, waited for the Mobile station to order a tire and was 1 hour late for work. I have found that the Continental, low-profile tires do not stand up to wear and tear, as my 2001 Honda Civic did. I had to change the tire because of a bubble and then had to change the tire because of the pothole. I am upset, not only because of the poor performance of the tires, but the main issue is that Hyundai misrepresents the product by not informing people that they are purchasing a car that does not come with a spare or a donut. They also do not cover towing with their road-side service. If I had not had AAA, I would have had to pay. I ended up with different tire, than the Continentals because they were not available, so I have an odd tire, all because I could not wait to have the car repaired. I called Advantage Hyundai in Bethpage, Long Island and was informed that the Hyundai Elantra no longer comes with a spare and only has a pump with some sort of sealant. They also told me that the spare would cost $380 if I wanted to order it and it was on back-order (could it be that others want a spare as well?).I understand this is a new trend in auto manufacturing (Chevy is doing the same), but my contention is that this should be made aware to the prospective purchaser of the car and told that a spare was an option and that the weight of the tire would bring down the MPGs for the vehicle. I find that this is fraudulent advertising, since the reason they can get up to 40 mpg for the Elantra is because they eliminated the weight of the spare tire. Now, I was lucky. I could have been somewhere up in the mountains, where I had no cell service and needed to change my own tire. What would I have done then? This could be dangerous. I have read articles claiming changing a tire on the road is dangerous, but if you are in the middle of nowhere, then what? I don't think that I should have to pay for a spare. I have contacted the customer service online from Hyundai and have been told that I need to go to my Hyundai dealer to buy a new tire and then they will determine if I should get a credit for it. I find this unacceptable.I have only had this car since February and have a lease for more than two years. I have not saved money on the gas and have spent a lot on tires. I don't want to be towed again. It is upsetting and there is no way I can break my lease. What are my options? I am sure that others have this problem, as well. I have asked people that I have seen in the street if they were informed about the missing spare and they have told me that they did not know that they didn't have one. I really need to resolve this. This is the first year that auto manufacturers are doing this no-spare thing and I think that I had a right to be told. I may not have taken the car and gotten stuck with this lease.

I bought Hyundai Sonata 2013 five months ago. I am happy with driving the car but I noticed that you took my money for blue link which is I already cancelled. When I bought the car, you told me that I have to pay $99 for year for the blue-link. There was a one month fee. I didn't want to pay and it wasn't good for me so I cancelled. But you charged. When I called the blue-link, blue-link told me that there is 3 option in the blue link but I only cancelled one option. I never heard about that. I never heard about that when I bought the car and even when I cancelled the blue-link. I didn't know there is three options. I never heard. When I canceled, you asked why I want to cancel so I just said that it doesn't recognize my voice. For the reason, the blue-link cancelled only one option. When I bought the car the sales person explained the destination search service very kindly but the guy never explained about the other option which is remote access option. I think because I installed remote starter, already. The Hyundai sales person never told me that I have to pay for $198 for year. He only told me $99 a year for the blue-link which he told me only the destination service. I don't want to believe that you had a purpose to take out my money. But there is only way, I can understand the situation. When I called Hyundai dealer which is Patrick Hyundai, they told me I have to speak with the blue-link but the blue-link told me there is nothing they can do. Only they could cancel and I can get less of the money. I feel bad. You tricked me into spending my money. I am very disappointed with Hyundai.

Bought a Hyundai Elantra 2010 at Linwood in Paducah. A/C not working but did not know it; accepted hot air from it as normal. Drove in this condition with my cat to Lexington, KY; cat suffered heat exhaustion. Took it to the Glenn Hyundai and they said they fixed it. Same problem cropped again and again. And sometimes I did not use A/C. When I took it the last time for the AC: Dealer rep accused me of going there a few times and not ever mentioning that the AC was a problem and once I had not hit the button. Dealer said fixed it the first time - that dye was placed and small valve problem fixed. But I heard nothing about this. This time by mistake I saw the dealer's notes which said "cracks on belt." But that was not mentioned to me. Why were these belts not replaced during warranty? Do they wait until the warranty is over to cheat? Also, early on, I drove to another city and felt the steering pulling to the right. Being inexperienced and afraid of big trucks, I drove into the guardrail but I distinctly felt the tug to the right. This was in Jan/Feb 2010. In 2014/2015, Hyundai asked Hyundai Elantra owners to go to the dealer and get this steering problem fixed. Surface of steering wheel, brake lever, brake and gas foot pad all eroding after only 1 yr or 2. Got a lemon. Regret buying Hyundai. Nightmare car!!!

When shopping around I was looking for a convenience features. Sonata Hybrid 2016 was slightly better than other midsize hybrid alternatives. Looked at all these reviews on Edmunds and similar websites. From their perspective it looks good. After one month of driving (and pretty good experience) main battery broke. Brought it to a dealership. It took already 2 days just to localize the problem. Accordingly to them it will take another 1-2 days to get an answer from Hyundai what needs to be done. This is a car on a warranty. What happens when it's out. I feel I'm screwed. This is a new car. Just started to pay for it.

I called road assistance on my 2016 Azera. After 1 years and half the car won't start. I have been waiting for the towing car almost 3 hours. Not a fast service at all. Very disappointing. I called back and they said the first driver had an accident on the freeway and that they are sending another one.
