My car was delivered with the "engine" light on. I subsequently had it taken back to BMW in Monsey, NY using my miles (over 100 there and back) only to have the light go back on, over the course of the lease. The tires, it appears aren't strong enough for the weight of the car. I would get a flat often or bubbles on the tire, not to mention I felt everything on the road. My issue is mostly with roadside assistance. It would have been better not to have it as an option. I would never have gone with a BMW to start with, but more importantly I would not have been stuck for hours waiting for a promised tow truck -- that never showed up. On 3 occasions during my lease term of 39 months I needed roadside service. The first 2 times, they didn't have anyone and the third time, after waiting 90 minutes I was told the TOW TRUCK broke down. It's a joke!!!

Never buy from Visalia BMW. I have purchased 3 BMW in the last three years and many BMW in the past. My 750Li just lost an engine with 4 months left on lease. BMW did not do anything financial to assist. No payments!!! The vehicle had 30k miles. They put a reman engine in. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER BMW EVER AGAIN. The dealer said there hands were tied and they could not do anything. All this could have been resolved for less than $4,000.00. BMW Corporate would not do anything.

Keeps me updated on my car and what to expect of my car and what to look out far to keep my car operable and running at its best. This is my first BMW given to myself for my 60th BD. I like the bmw place here in Columbia, Mr. ** helps me understand the ins and out dealing with my bmw and he does not let me feel stupid.

I bought Blizzak winter tires from Bridgestone for the 2 time in 3 years. This last time I had an issue with one of the tire after 3 weeks. It was deflating. I stopped at the BMW garage in Oakville and they had to replace my tire. I wrote to Bridgestone from their website. They never got my request and realized when I called that did not even know where the web inquiries went!!! They basically wash their hands of any support. You spend $3,000 in tires in 3 years and they won't stand behind their products for $300!!! I will never buy any Bridgestone tires again, not because of their products but because of the lack of vision and consumer care from the company. I gave them an 8 on 10 for their products but a 1 on 10 for their consumer care service.

I own a 2005 325CI with 51,000 miles and I have clear coat issues myself. Unfortunately, I bought the car used a few years ago. I figured I could get "some" assistance from the customer complaint center because the ** service manager at the local dealership basically told me ** you in a nice way. Both my conversations with management from the dealership and customer service center were futile, no assistance whatsoever. There is definitely a trend with these complaints even with cars that are garage kept. The materials that are being used here are definitely substandard. I have other cars that sit in the same driveway that are older than the BMW, and I use the same cleaning products on them that I use on the BMW and I have no issues at all. I am not asking for a freebie, but I think BMW should give some sort of assistance in these matters and take care of their customers whether they bought their cars new or used. The customer service reps and managers at the so-called "Service Center" are a bunch of arrogant ** that know nothing about taking care of the customer. If anyone has any info on who I can talk to other than the service center, dealership, or paint reps, please let me know. I am totally frustrated that no assistance was offered.

This is my first experience owning a BMW. I have owned Chevy, GMC, etc. The technology in this car is amazing. The lighting, the craftsmanship and even the quality of the paint job surpasses any other car I've owned. The 8 cylinder engine drives like a dream. The car and maintenance is pricey. But so worth it.

Leased a 2013 328xi, brand new, off the lot! Loved the car for the first six months until I was driving one day and the car shut off while driving down a back road. An error code read on the screen, so I called BMW. They manually reset the code, car started right up and drove home. I didn't think anything of it until a month later, I'm driving 70 miles on the highway and the car shuts off again! Called BMW and drove the car directly to the dealership. They had the car for a week and couldn't replicate the issue and blamed it on the cold winter we were having even though the car is garaged. Fast-forward another 3 months.. It's spring, warm outside and car shuts down again driving on the highway. This time, almost got into an accident and since I was close to the dealership, drove right there. I refused to take the car back until they figured out the cause, and cold weather wasn't to blame. They had the car almost a full month and couldn't replicate the issue. They claim that there was a loose rear distribution box and fuel pump. Three weeks later, car is back in for check engine light. I get the car back but called corporate BMW and got a complete runaround. Three times in one year the car shuts off, COMPLETELY UNSAFE! After a month of going back and forth with a resolution specialist, BMW refuses to terminate the lease and offers a credit for money toward the lease. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Still trying to climb the corporate ladder and find someone to speak to. What happens if the next shut off cause an accident?? They don't care, no customer service, and no regard for safety. They say you get what you pay for, well apparently not in this case.

Recently purchased a 2016 BMW 228i. The vehicle was equipped with Driver Assistance Package that included Park Distance Control. A safety feature that warns the driver when approaching objects with sensors located both front and rear of the vehicle. A very useful feature to avoiding hitting objects and causing damage to the vehicle so I thought. The rear sensors are automatically activated ANYTIME when placing the vehicle in reverse and backing up. The front sensors are automatically activated when placing the car in REVERSE when first starting the PARKED vehicle BUT do not activate if placed in DRIVE. What good does having the front sensors on when going backwards and not on when going forward? Also, the front sensors automatically turn off after the car is in motion. You must manually activate the front sensors by pushing the button located near the gear shift lever. I did not know this. By forgetting to do this will not warn you of distance of an object in front of you to avoid an accident. In layman terms you forgot to turn on the front sensors beforehand causing you to hit an object and damaging the vehicle. In my case, I would have avoided hitting the curb causing damage underneath the front spoiler because I failed to activate the front sensors that I had no knowledge of at the time. BMW has a representative called a BMW Genius who teaches the new owner every aspects of the vehicle and the functionality of the vehicle. This would have been very useful had I been educated but unfortunately I was not.I contacted BMW customer service as well as the BMW Genius to advise them of the operation of the Park Distance Control and had the front sensors been activated I would have avoided causing an estimated repair bill of $600 to $700 dollars. What good is it if it's not on? Should have I known that I was going to hit the curb and to activate the front sensors? Why do I not have to activate the rear sensors? The BMW representative is going to file a Formal Complaint on my behalf and thanked me for informing them of the situation and told me to have a pleasant day.

I have bought a BMW 7 Series in May 2009. I had horrible experience with the car and the services. Till now the car has gone for servicing more than 15 times (which is too much as compared to an Audi & Merc.). The gear box has failed twice. Had to change all the 4 tires twice. The mileage is horrible. It shows a regular transmission failure issue. Battery had to be replaced. The car hasn't traveled more than 55000 kms. I strongly recommend not to buy this car. After paying such a huge amount I felt cheated.

Two months ago I had to replace a regulator in the rear drivers side window. I own a 2008 BMW 328i BMW. This past week I was on my way to work. I'm a international flight attendant and my schedule was for me to be flying for 7 days straight. As I pulled out of my driveway, I tried raising my rear passenger side window. Once again it was broken and would not raise. I stopped at a nearby automotive and the mechanic was able to get the window out of the door and taped it in the up position. There are a lot of thief at any airport at any time of day. I was lucky no one touched my car but shame on BMW. Making a plastic regulator on a car that is supposed to be of high quality. I guess I need to prepare for the 2 front window regulators to go out soon. Plastic is a cheap inferior product compared to metal. It cost a lot a time I put the car in the shop. Your products and mechanics are over rated. The last time I put my car in a BMW dealership for normal check, the mechanic left his drill in the engine. I am selling this car because it doesn't stand up to its name.
