Audi is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. As a subsidiary of its parent company, the Volkswagen Group, Audi produces vehicles in nine production facilities worldwide.

The S6 is Audi’s mid-size four-door sport sedan, based on the latest A6 sedan, which launched in the U.S. market for 2012. The S6 arrived one model year later, and while the A6 comes with front- or Quattro all-wheel-drive and four-cylinder or V-6 engines, the S6 is AWD and V-8 only. The S6 is aimed at drivers seeking a sumptuous interior and a relatively low-key look with fiercely quick acceleration. Visually, the S6 exterior differs from the A6 with its platinum-colored grille, horizontal elements in the front air intakes, aluminum mirror caps, rear lip spoiler, four exhaust outlets, and additional accent on the front air intakes.

I bought my 2016 Audi Q5 in air day weekend of 2016 and I've had 3 separate issues and now 3 recalls in the car within a matter of 9 months. 30 days in my sunroof started to rattle so bad it sounded like the glass was going to fall out. Take it to have it fixed and issues with getting a courtesy vehicle. I got a small A3 which is not comparable to a Q5... Just pointing out the obvious! Also they weren't very thrilled about giving me a car even though that was used a sales tactic because that was one of the things I liked about their service and having a luxury SUV! They had to take out the sunroof and put something around the whole thing so it doesn't rattle. Issue was fixed and hasn't come back.Came back in probably 2 months after that when other random rattle sounds started to pop up. One in the back trunk area and one by the dash. Again did not want to give me a courtesy vehicle and again I had to insist. I'm a mother of a small child, that time is precious to me and I'm not sitting in a dealership with a small kid, no thanks! Trunk issues resolved, front they couldn't figure out and I hear from time to time. Now the final one is my window makes a high pitch screeching sound when I roll it down. Seems to happen in hotter weather. This is getting looked at this week and the 2 out of 3 recalls! This car has been plagued with problems and not the safe luxury SUV I spent $50,000 on to keep me and my daughter safe! I'm so disappointed and disgusted with Audi and how I've been treated. This is not the service or car I expected from them at all!! I called Audi America today and was told they couldn't buy my car back because it had recalls! Really? Why do you think I want to see it back to you, Audi??? I'm not safe in this malfunctioning car you sold me!!! And now you don't want it back? SHOCKER! As for the dealership, they can care less and are so rude it blows my mind! Huge mistake buying an Audi! Should've stuck with Infiniti!

I purchased a 2003 A4 Audi in 2007. On its first year, the engine and the radiator leaked, the engine bolts broke, the front axle cracked and the computer never works correctly. Also, the interior items were busted and the alarm died. I spent more on repairs than the car’s worth. When I contacted Audi of America, they did not respond to me.Sonnen is just as bad. They have very poor customer service and they lie about parts they say they fixed, with which I have proof. The whole experience with this car has been a nightmare as there is always something wrong with it. I have barely driven it.

Six months after purchasing a 2007 Audi A6 with 57k miles the steering control module required replacement. The cost to fix was $2,600. Because this obviously a result of poor engineering and not a wear and tear issue I wrote a complaint to Audi directly. Their response: "We are sorry to learn of your issue however the car is not under warranty (they won't acknowledge the fact that this is a common issue as seen on many Audi forums) and because you did not buy at an Audi dealership and you are not a loyal Audi customer (1st Audi and last) we will not assist with repair." The point of my writing this is that their vehicles are over engineered and repair record and costs are absurd. Oh and don't even try to bring to someone other than an Audi dealership because they cannot work on them. And the dealerships know this full well!!! I am through with the 4 rings of death as my mechanic calls them and switching back to Lexus. Don't get taken by the looks of what I think is a great looking vehicle like I did. You will be surely regret it and be shopping for a new car ASAP.

Buyer Beware!!! These cars have transmissions and clutch issues!!! I purchased a 2021 brand new off the lot with only 6 miles and 5 months later I started having transmission issues barely escaping off the highway alive when the car decided to shut down on me. The engine light came on stating that I had transmission failure and it completely shut off after I barely made it off onto the ramp, luckily I was near an exit, otherwise it would have shut down on the highway. People please read up on Audi’s and their transmission issues before purchasing!!! Because the dealership will be of no service to you once the car starts to fail, they are in the business of making money!!!

2015 Audi A4 brakes are an embarrassment. Brakes squeak when cold or wet, not a little but enough to turn heads at stop signs and in parking garages. The dealer's recommendation was 'to drive down the freeway at 65 or 70 mph and stomp on them engage the ABS'. Great, safe advice - thanks Audi. I'm glad to see that Audi has known about the issue dating back to (at least) 2012 from owner experience blogs - but pay their customers the same lip service in 2016 as they did four years ago 'we're aware and we're working on a solution'. So much for Truth in Engineering.

I bought from FLOW AUDI in Greensboro (NC) a brand new AUDI RS5 convertible on April 1st 2013. Vin # WUAC6AFH6DN900220. With just 9,000 miles, the RS5 had a very bad problem with the breaks. When I pushed the breaks, the car was shaking, especially when I try to use the break at the speed of 75/80 mph. On November 15th 2013, I brought the RS5 at the dealer in Greensboro and I spoke with the service manager. The service manager gave me a courtesy car to use and in the afternoon, I was contacted by an adviser of the Audi service in Greensboro. This adviser told me that my car needs new pads and new rotor and that these parts are coming from Germany and the wait to have this parts was 2 weeks. The service adviser told me that during these 2 weeks I could drive my car. When I told him that the problem with the breaks was very bad especially at 80 mph, he answers me back that the speed limit is 65 mph.The next morning, I went to pick my car to the dealer in Greensboro and when I told the service adviser that driving over the speed limit is my problem and that the car is supposed to handle higher speed than 80 mph, I was very impolite and he threw the document of my car on the desk. When I told him that he has to be polite, he told me ** YOU. My reaction wasn't really polite and he told me again ** YOU and he was intimidating me. Only the intervention of the manager of the service at the location stopped him. After this issue, in any case the AUDI Dealer changed the front rotors and pads in 2 weeks. After 2000 miles, I had the same problem and on February 2014 I went again to the AUDI Dealer in Greensboro (NC). This time, the service manager told me that I have to replace the back rotors and pads. On March 2014, after the changing of the back rotors and pads, the car had the same problem and was very dangerous to drive it. I have many witnesses that can testify that wasn't possible to safety drive the car. I went again to the dealer and at the end, the service manager told me that this defect was normal. I also wrote to the customer service at AUDI without any positive answer, only words. On April 2014, I tried to trade the car at the AUDI Dealer asking for a different car without this problem. The valuation of my car with only 12000 miles was ridiculous. At the end of April, I trade my AUDI with a brand new Maserati, and I am very satisfy. I will never buy another AUDI.

Audis are great Cars. Audi A6 is my favorite model and I wouldn't choose any other vehicle. They come equipped for the buyer, and it can be personally customized to each individual. The appearance is great and unique in its own way... I love the details in and out of the car. It runs great, comfortable and lots of room. The options for personalizing the Audi A6 is off the charts and very amazing. I love the great quality and everything else you can choose. The passenger capacity is 5 but I'm pretty sure you can squeeze an extra body or two if you really wanted to... But I don't recommend it.

I bought my 1996 Audi A4 in 2009. At the start of 2010, I took my car to (Audi Artarmon, NSW) because I was experiencing erratic revving quite seriously. Audi Artarmon cleaned my fuel system and assured me that the problem was now fixed. However, as soon as I drove my vehicle from the servicing center, the problem still existed so that was ($1,500) down the drain. It took some complaining but I eventually got a full refund. I then moved to the Gold Coast where I decided to take it to (Audi Gold Coast Center). They advised me of a few reasons for the problem and told me that they could fix the problem. After picking my car up and driving it down the Gold Coast highway for 5 minutes, my car completely broke down and whilst I was on the phone to the servicing manager, he was shouting at me trying to say that it was not their problem and that these things just happen. So I sorted out a tow truck myself and paid for a taxi to get myself home. The car got towed back to Audi. The next day, they advised me that I needed a new throttle body at a cost of $1,000, but was advised that the cost would be taken care of due to what had happened. I went to pick my car up after the work had been done and the servicing manager started to demand that I pay for the work done to my car or else I would not be allowed to drive it away.I then had to rush to the bank before it closed and made a withdrawal in order to pay the prick of a manager. After all of this, it was no wonder that nothing had even remotely changed with the performance of my car! I had to move to Mackay (1000kms north) so I drove my car up, however, my fuel gauge stopped operating and the car was being very erratic with its revs. I did make it to Mackay though by guessing my fuel consumption. After more complaints, I eventually got a refund from Gold Coast Audi, as if they were trying to pay me to keep quiet. The last straw came when I moved to Newcastle (NSW). I drove my car down from Mackay, which was a long trip but my vehicle seemed to take it very well. My car did not start the next day so I decided to take it to Newcastle Audi Center where they told me I needed a new fuel pump, which would cost $900. I decided to get an independent mechanic to replace my fuel pump for half the price. However, somehow that mechanic did something to my car's immobilizer and I was forced to have it towed back to (Newcastle Audi), which was quite embarrassing. I was advised by Newcastle Audi that I needed a new engine control unit which would cost $3,000. I agreed to have this done as I needed my car. After a few months of trying to come up with the money, I finally had enough to pay for my vehicle. Upon picking my car up, I noticed that the whole dashboard insert was not working at all (speedometer, tacho, fuel gauge) and I asked them why. However, the servicing manager refused to take any responsibility and angrily denied any wrongdoing. The service I received from Newcastle Audi was absolutely appalling. For anyone who has any intention on buying an Audi of any sort, get ready for ignorant fat cats who think that they are above you and can talk down to you. I am so fed up with Audi, all they care about is money. Even the Audi Australia head office doesn't seem to care at all.My car has been undriveable for almost a year now, yet those ** are probably living it up with their fat checks. I am giving my 1996 Audi to a wrecker now. I paid $7,000 for it 3 years ago but I simply have no more energy, money or time to put up with the thieves that Audi are.

Originally I had purchased my vehicle at Biener Audi. I purchased an S3 2017 Model. "Brand New" this vehicle came with approx. 70 miles on it. I found out that they transported it from Audi of Smithtown. I, then proceeded to take it to this location. One of my issues was the hood & the windshield. The hood is cracked (from a pebble most likely states a professional who I had examine it; "they touched it up & didn't allow it to dry long enough so it came off".) Audi of Smithtown has no reglect of this happening. Another issue is inside of my vehicle, the main console buttons are sticky-like. After going back and forth with Audi of Smithtown, they agreed to "take it off and look if it's warranty or not. They will take it off as a courtesy". They state sticky substance is inside. They won't do anything for me. They ordered the part for me but are claiming I have to come out of MY pocket for $970 because they don't deem this as a warranty issue. Are you kidding me? This vehicle came in such horrible condition! My first Audi. To be exact my issues consisted of: Scratched up interior panels. Damaged hood/windshield from transportation. Abnormal creased seats "from getting in and out from test drives". My fiancé & I clearly knew that this vehicle had been sitting on a lot for a LONG time. It was so dirty after they finished "detailing" it. Back bumper deep scratches. Console buttons sticking, rough. Scratched up alternator ("cosmetic"). Front bumper full of dings (black spots). Dings on headlights/scratched up.I'm VERY unhappy and UNSATISFIED with BOTH Audi of Smithtown and Biener Audi. This was the WORST experience I've ever had. I've opened up a case with "Audi of America" (corporate) and they've stated case has been escalated as high as possible. They won't do anything for me "it's up to the dealership to make it right". Please save yourself a headache. Dishonest dealerships terrible customer satisfaction. Biener's part: Some people involved were: Patrick ** (sales person). Service Manager (Stephen **). Sales Manager (Andrew). Audi of Smithtown. Service Advisor: Jessica **. Service Manager: Joseph **.

If you're looking to buy a European car, don't do it! Unless you don't mind problems with everything mechanical or electrical! Since purchasing my Audi A6 2.0t Premium Plus it has been nothing but problems. Right now my horn and AC don't work. Just go to a forum for the brand of car you're looking to buy and search for the specific car, you will find one problem after another! American cars cost less, last longer, require less maintenance and have better performance! I will never buy European again!
