The Cadillac Motor Car Division is a division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors Company that designs and builds luxury vehicles. Its major markets are the United States, Canada, and China. Cadillac models are distributed in 34 additional markets worldwide.

As a compact luxury SUV, the Cadillac XT5 aims for broad appeal. Unfortunately, it lacks some key attributes needed to compete successfully against impressive vehicles like the BMW X3, Mercedes-AMG GLC43, and Volvo XC60. The XT5's cabin is spacious and comfortable and it offers a refined ride, but its appeal is otherwise limited. Buyers can choose from either a turbocharged four-cylinder or a V-6 engine, but loading up the XT5 with options quickly pushes its price tag to Porsche Macan territory—an area where the XT5 is even more out of its depth.

Product Reviews:

It's a BMW with nice big wheels, a good engine, runs 15 miles, has nice beautiful windows. Gas is good. It runs really fast with a high speed limit. It is the color red with some white in it. Red cars are the best. Has a nice big stereo. However, it will need a lot of work like nicer, better, big wheels, more windows, and a different color would be nice and a better stereo, long distance and more miles. The miles could be better with more room for a bigger family. But the capacity of this car is good. It was really good experience.

Cadillac CTS 2015, I bought it new in September 2015 and I have had more problems with the cue, phone will not charge, on star not working, this model is a piece of junk!!! Cadillac/ GMC SHOULD BE ASHAME OF IT. This car now has only 4143 miles and I afraid to drive on a long trip, now that's very sad!

I find them to be beautiful, functional cars with good looks and good usage. The interior is comfortable and the exterior is nice to look at. Also, it's hold 5 people comfortably. In the past other cars I have had have struggled to fit my friends inside, but the Cadillac is awesome. It also makes me feel good to look at it and looks definitely play a role in my purchasing. They have lots of upgrades available, lots of personalization options. I was very pleased with the cup holder and stereo. Overall I was very impressed.

2014 Cadillac XTS4. Owning this car has been a nightmare. I have had constant problems with the CUE system and the suspension. It’s ridiculous that GM and their dealerships know that there is a problem with these vehicles but want us as owners to foot the bill for their craftsmanship.

On October 26th, 2012, our 2009 Cadillac SRX was hit by a kicked-up rock on a local tollway. The cargo area window on the driver's side was completely shattered. This window also houses the antennae for the navigation system. The SRX model was redesigned beginning with the 2010 models so this window is no longer used. GM has had this window on backorder for months, if not years. It does not have a manufacturer for this window, and obviously has no plans to obtain a manufacturer. There is no ship date! I will never purchase another Cadillac or GM product and I will make it my mission to spread the word about the totally unsatisfactory experience I've had with this brand.

I purchased a brand new Cadillac SRX in 2012. I have just a little over 50,000 miles and already I need an alternator which is costing me a little over $600. Someone should be responsible other than myself. There's always a recall on these cars. I think as much as they cost the warranty should be longer and your parts should not go out as quickly as they do. A brand new car that has only been driven 52000 miles and your alternator is going out. GM should be responsible all the maker of the alternator.

I purchased my first Cadillac (2015 SRX with approximately 20,000 miles) in December 2016. The CUE system was replaced in January 2017. Also in January 2017, 2 emissions related sensors had to be replaced. Later in 2017, another sensor had to be replaced. In October 2018, both front end wheel bearings and windshield washer sprayer had to be replaced at about 58,000 miles. In January 2019, the purge solenoid thingie had to be replaced at about 65,000 miles -- a recall that wasn't officially classified as a recall. In May 2019, my car wouldn't start as if the fairly new battery was dead. Dealer ran a diagnostic check. No problems were detected. Now at almost 72,000 miles, the CUE system is malfunctioning again. I plan for this to be my last Cadillac. I am now shopping for a Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Honda or any other dependable brand to replace this Cadillac lemon.

2002 Eldorado - Bought it used with 18,000 miles on it in 2004. Runs fine and gets excellent mileage. It is the most economical Caddy I have ever owned. Of course I keep it serviced as I have with all of them. I still have a 1983 Coupe DeVille I've had since 1986. I rebuilt the 4100 engine at 141,000 miles. It has 161,000 miles now. I have a 1978 Seville, a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham, and a 1984 factory Limo. All run fine, no issues. I recently sold a 1984 Fleetwood Brougham. Storage space is getting to be an issue. I only have a building large enough for 12 autos. Some of my drivers are other brands. I am not fond of the new bodies so I keep my old Caddies and drive them wherever I wish. When I need a mechanic I use certified individuals, no shade tree men. Wish you all could have the fortunate experience I have enjoyed with my family of old Caddies.

There are many variations of Cadillac and all of them are premier cars. They are very comfortable to ride in. The car that we own is bright red and it has several added options such as heated seats in the front and the back, a heated steering wheel and back-up sensors. It has a sun roof and a CD player. It has the ability to save the settings for the seat and the pedals for up to two people. Also it has push button start. It has a large interior and has room for two people in the front and three people in the backseat with enough room to be comfortable.

There is a saying that “car salesmen are the worst people in the world”. Now that may not be true for all of them, but that saying runs true for the salesmen at Delaware Cadillac. I will try to make this as short as possible, but I wish would have read something like this before I did business with that devil dealership. I had an ATS and made the mistake of leasing the vehicle its first year out. It was nothing but problems, so with 6 months left on the lease Michael ** at the dealership said he would get me out of lease and into a new one. I did not want to do this, but the tires were shot on my original ATS so I caved in. Now that being said, all I asked for on the new vehicle was normal non garbage run flat tires. Well I did not find out until a year into the lease that ** gave me a vehicle with run flat tires. When I called to discuss this he said “it was a mistake in the paperwork" and I could bring the car there (an hour away) and they would fix it. He wouldn’t send me to my local dealership because they save money on the parts. I also had the cue system break and it took almost the entire summer to get the part in and working again, so basically went the whole summer without air conditioning. Lastly ** tried to get me when I turned the piece of ** car in. The vehicle came with 4500 miles on it and I was allotted 15k a year. ** explained to me that I could turn the car in and the original 4500 miles wouldn’t count. Well when I turned the car in the evil devil piece of ** Mike sent me a bill for $700 of over mileage charges. I had to get a lawyer involved and General Motors ended up seeing it was a scam and I did not have to pay, yet they wonder why people go crazy. I have waited almost 5 years to write this review, karma will come around and get ** back, I hope he starves but this review is a start. If I can stop at least one person from buying or leasing from this dealership then I have done my job.
