Acura NSX servicing cost

Acura is the luxury and performance division of Honda Motor Company. The brand was launched in the United States and Canada on March 27, 1986, marketing luxury and performance automobiles.

The Acura NSX intends to fill a niche that barely exists, but for those who seek a daily-driver supercar—with some hybrid cred, no less—this is your ride. The original NSX, which was phased out of production in 2005, provided easy, day-to-day livability minus the green: exotic looks, otherworldly performance, a compliant ride, and comfortable space for two adults and a reasonable amount of cargo. Aside from the original’s generous cargo space, the reborn NSX checks all the same boxes and kicks things up a notch with above-average fuel economy thanks to its hybrid powertrain and electric-only driving capabilities. It certainly looks the part of a supercar, but it doesn’t quite hit the exotic mark on the inside, where evidence of parts sharing with lesser Acuras casts a decidedly downmarket shadow.

Product Reviews:

All the cars and SUV's are coming out with standard features you would expect in a luxury car. Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, all come with all the latest protection lane control, Cruise adjust, heated steering wheel and seats, and these are for their models across the board. You would expect Acura being a luxury brand would have all these things standard in all their models. The Acura should have all the top end. Hondas have that are standard but no everything is an upgrade, Acura is becoming a dinosaur. They should be bringing out an advanced electric with everything standard at a reasonable price to capture the market. Probably my last Acura.

The headlights on my Acura are already cracking in less than 4 years. What a joke. I’ve been a long time Acura customer but this will be my last one. Save your dollars and go elsewhere as this company does not have your best interest in mind.

It is very reliable, holds the road well, they run forever and ever. It's very comfy to drive or ride in, and it has all the options I like. I have had several different cars through the years (drove several types through my job as a repo agent), but as far as dependable, good gas mileage and feeling safe driving the Acura is honestly one of my favorites. If you maintain them they will run forever. My last Acura had 247, *** miles on it when I got rid of it and the young lady that now owns it is still driving it around...

I have 2013 Acura MDX. It was good and smooth when the mileage was about 40000-50000 but after the mileage went higher the transmission got problem, it will shake every time I tried to be from 45-50 mile per hour.

I leased a 2016 Acura TLX V6 AWD approximately two years ago, I finally traded it in recently: I attempted to address several issues that were not rectified to my satisfaction: 1. Transmission shifting issues, abrupt shifts and downshifts as if you are being rear ended. Dealer supposedly updated software, issue remained unresolved. 2. iPhone Bluetooth issues with new iPhone. Contacts do not populate, had issue for four months and was never resolved, they blamed Apple for the issues. 3. Brake rotors warped after close to a year and leads that 13k miles, they blamed my driving, had to pay to get them resurfaced. 4. Brake calipers rusted, cosmetically unappealing, I was told it does not affect performance even though they look horrible through the big alloy wheels.

I am current/original first owner of 2005 Acura TL. My car has dashboard cracked and airbag sign showed on screen. And I've researched on web and found this is common issue/problem that many TL owners are experiencing. I recently went to Acura dealership for trade in my '05 TL for 2017 MDX and my vehicle appraised was $0.00. They said they couldn't buy it from me with dashboard cracked and sell it in their dealer. FYI my TL has about 148,000 miles and has good condition.I cannot believe Acura knows there's a problem with dashboard cracked on almost every TL they manufactured and not taking any action. What if there's airbag issue and not function it properly because of cracked dashboard? Is airbag going to function well? This is safety issue and Acura should make recall to check who has dashboard cracked. I don't think I am never going back to Acura again after experiencing this kind of bad service.

I loved the car and I was very happy with the interior. The stereo sounded great and the seats were comfortable. My two kids are comfortable enough in the backseat with all of their accessories. Three people could also sit back there. The trunk is roomy enough as well. However, anytime I go to buy a car from Acura the colors available are very limited. I'm not patient so I drive away with a bland color. Every time I tell myself going in that in nor selling for less than I want but I always do. My car also came with the basics, but I could have paid extra to get a remote starter and an alarm system.

I purchased an Acura MDX on 4/4/2019 and purchased an extended warranty for it, which is supposed to provide coverage for electrical and mechanical failures in the car. In 2020, we notified our local Acura Dealer (Pleasanton, CA) about an issue we were experiencing. Whenever we remote started the car, the heated seats would no longer operate about 50% of the time. We took videos of this occurring, and the dealer was able to duplicate the problem. They said it was an issue that needed to be addressed by the corporate office, as there was nothing the dealer could do.I have spent the last two years going back and forth with Acura over this issue, and the matter remains unresolved. At first they said it was operating normally when it did this. They also said they hadn’t heard of this issue before. An internet search revealed numerous online complaints from other customers about this exact same issue. There’s even a service bulletin put out my Acura about this in August, 2017. Bulletin number BTS 161203 Version 3. It states that the front seat heater control unit was suspected to be the culprit.Acura has refused to fix this issue, so I requested a refund for our extended warranty, which we paid $2695 for. We are experiencing a mechanical/electrical failure of the heated seats to work properly, and Acura has refused to fix the problem. Therefore, we would like a refund for the extended warranty, which was purchased entirely for problems like this.

I have a 2014 Acura MDX that I bought brand new in February 2014. Test drive was fine but after about 1,000 miles I began to notice a grinding sounds coming from the front of the vehicle that sounds tied into the transmission as the grinding changes as it shifts through the gears. I called customer service 6 times leaving messages for a rep to call. When I do get a call back I am told they will have a manager contact me which never happens. How many times should a customer call before an issue can be resolved?

I have been battling with Acura "Customer Service" for 2 months over a common problem Acura is ignoring: Bluetooth systems draining the car battery. I spent over two years having my battery regularly recharged or replaced, with the Acura dealer unable to diagnose the problem. I could not let my car sit more than one day without starting or the battery would be dead. I took it in several times and once paid to have a relay switch replaced, which did not solve the problem.I had lost use of my Bluetooth, but never connected the two, even though every time the battery was recharged the Bluetooth would miraculously work again for about 30 minutes... When I finally Googled "2007 Acura electrical problem" I discovered lots of people have had this problem. Some had replaced their Bluetooth system and the problem recurred.Based on what I learned, had my Bluetooth disconnected. I contacted Acura "Customer Service" to complain about having to pay $100 to disconnect a system that has not worked for two years. Long story short, and after providing full documentation of my last two years of dealer, mechanic and AAA auto service, I was told that because Acura did not diagnose the Bluetooth system as the problem they could not help me. Ironic, eh? This problem has been occurring for years and by not diagnosing it they were not responsible for it. I must add I found Michael, the "Customer Service" person I spoke with, to be condescending and disrespectful (phone number 800-382-2238, extension **). Needless to say, my next car will not be an Acura.
