Chevrolet, colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors

The 2019 Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) known for its electric-only driving capability, fuel efficiency, and advanced technology features. It's designed to offer a combination of electric and gasoline power, providing drivers with the benefits of electric driving while offering extended range with the gasoline engine. Here are some key features and specifications of the 2019 Chevrolet Volt:

Electric-Only Driving: The Volt is capable of running on electric power alone for a certain range. The 2019 model typically offers an all-electric range of around 53 miles on a full charge, making it suitable for daily commuting without using gasoline.

Gasoline Engine: When the electric-only range is depleted, the Volt's gasoline engine (typically a 1.5-liter four-cylinder) generates electricity to power the electric motor, effectively extending the driving range.

Total Driving Range: The combination of electric and gasoline power typically provides a total driving range of around 420 miles, making the Volt suitable for longer trips as well.

Charging: The Volt can be charged using a standard 120-volt household outlet or a 240-volt charging station. Charging times may vary based on the power source.

Regenerative Braking: Like other electric and hybrid vehicles, the Volt uses regenerative braking to capture and store energy when slowing down, helping to recharge the battery.

Performance: The electric motor in the Volt provides instant torque, resulting in responsive and smooth acceleration. The gasoline engine primarily serves as a generator to provide additional electric power when needed.

Design: The 2019 Chevrolet Volt features a modern and aerodynamic design with a five-door hatchback body style.

Interior: The Volt typically seats five passengers and offers a comfortable cabin with a focus on user-friendly technology and controls.

Infotainment: The Volt is equipped with an infotainment system that includes a touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a range of connected features.

Safety: The 2019 Volt offers a variety of safety features, including advanced driver assistance systems such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and more, depending on the trim level and options chosen.

Charging Modes: The Volt typically offers several charging modes, including normal, extended-range, and hold, which allow the driver to control how the vehicle uses electric and gasoline power.

The 2019 Chevrolet Volt is designed for environmentally conscious drivers who want to experience electric driving on a daily basis while having the flexibility to use gasoline for longer trips. It provides a practical and efficient solution for those looking to reduce their environmental footprint without the range anxiety associated with fully electric vehicles. Specific features and availability may vary based on the trim level and options chosen.

I bought a 2017 Chevy Colorado. I took it in for an oil change and rotation of tires. After I got the call that my vehicle was ready, I picked it up and was heading towards Ocala Florida and notice that my vehicle was rattling and swearing to the right. My wife told me move over to the right to take a look at why it was making such a rattling noise. She told me it sounds like you have a bad tire. I went to the medium and parked and took a look at the tires. The nuts and bolts were completely loose on all four tires. I was able to actually remove them with my hands. I called Ferman Chevrolet customer service and told them what happened and they wanted me to bring the vehicle back to them. I brought it back to them the following day because the car was not running right. The transmission seem to be making a noise and not changing shift. I took it to the dealership and they had to replace 3 of my tires and rims because they were damage from the time when I took it on the highway and the nuts and bolts were not tighten. They also flushed my transmission 3 times, because they noticed that there was a problem with my transmission. They told me that they had resolved the issue so I took my truck home. A few days later I started to notice that I was still having those transmission issues where it wasn't changing gears. I called GMC and filed a complaint against Ferman Chevrolet. They had me take my truck to another dealership to confirm the issues that I was having. The other dealership stated that it appear that it was a factory defect with the transmission. They claimed that they fix my issue. In 2 weeks later I was having the same problem. I called GMC and this time they didn't want to talk to me. I could not get anybody to help me with my truck that I had only had for 5 months. I did not have a choice because they weren't willing to help me so I had to take a loss on the truck and trade it in for a Toyota Tacoma. I swore that I would never buy a GMC vehicle again. Be aware that this happened to me in a truck that was only 5 months old and had less than 5000 miles.

We have had this Chevrolet Astro since 2004 and have had no trouble, except for the air conditioner. We had to replace that. That top coat is peeling but it still runs great. We are sorry they stopped making them. Will be replacing it in a year or two.

In the last 4 months I purchased 2 used Chevy Volts with low miles and excellent condition. They replaced two Toyota Prius my wife and I owned. We’ve been Prius owners for 12 years, and have had a great experience with Toyota, but the Volt appealed to us for its much greater battery capacity as well as how it drives. What I didn’t anticipate was a far worse repair experience than I’ve ever had with any car in the last 40 years, and the fault is with Chevy and GM, not the dealer, for not having a commonly failing part available for the repair. It’s been 3 weeks now waiting for the part. In the meantime over many calls to GM for help, they have been absolutely awful. Day after day they apologize but they can’t tell you when the part will arrive, so I don’t know when I’ll get my car back.Three weeks after buying the second Volt, I had a problem starting it. I eventually got it started and drove it to the closest dealer in Arlington, MA. They told me right away it sounded like a common problem with the shifter assembly, but unfortunately the part was in backorder. Under the extended warranty I purchased, I had 6 days of a loaner car covered, so I got one and didn’t worry. A week later, the dealer still had no idea when the part would come from GM.That’s when I called GM and opened a case with Customer Service. The call center folks are friendly and try to help but are extremely limited as far as solving any problem. They assigned me a Senior Advisor however, and that was supposed to get my case escalated. But the Advisor also couldn’t tell me when the part would arrive. They also could not offer me any coverage for a loaner car during the extended wait for the part. The Advisor resorted to reciting policy to me on this issue. On multiple occasions I have tried to reach the Advisor to share information from the dealer or ask for an update. I’ve never been able to reach her the same day or next day. It has taken 2-3 days and messages and escalations for her to respond.Last week both the dealer and GM said the part was expected to ship that week. It didn’t. I called every day for an update and never got any sense that anyone knows anything about the part's availability. Then they said the part shipped last Friday so it should arrive that day or next day. The dealer looks for it every day but still hasn’t seen it (Tuesday). Again my calls to the Advisor, to ask about tracking the shipment, have not been returned. After borrowing my wife’s car for a week, which left her without a car, and getting rides to work from colleagues, I rented a car yesterday. With the extended warranty already used, and GM's policy preventing them providing any coverage since the manufacturer's warranty has just passed a few months ago, I am now stuck with the rental cost, for how long I don’t know. The dealer says there’s nothing they can do 'til the part arrives. GM customer service says there’s nothing they can do to get the part to the dealer. The people responsible to make the part and ship it are completely insulated, as are any higher level managers, since customer service has said they can’t provide me any further contacts.I think the Volt is a great car. This mechanical issue is very minor. The car has a good reputation for reliability. But Chevy and GM can’t seem to provide a part for a common issue in the car. I’ve since heard that some Volt owners purchase and stockpile certain parts that occasionally fail, because they anticipate GM won’t be able to provide the part for repair. At this point I’m committed to the car, but don’t think I’ll ever buy another GM product in this lifetime, based on how poorly they’ve handled this. And I recommend the same for any car buyer. A global, multi-billion $ company can’t have common repair parts available within a day or two - that is a company that deserves to go out of business. And no more government bailouts. After buying the first one several months ago I bought another. Three weeks later I had a

My Chevy Cavalier ran for fifteen years, it was a 1990 and a beautiful red. It was the best car I ever own, I have had many Chevys, that was my main car. Such a reliable car, and the many features, was so wonderful. I love my car, it never let me down, it perform excellent in all kind of weather. My cost was 7499, in 1991 well worth as penny.

Good on gas. Cheap on repairs. Can't really complain. It's a Chevy. Probably my favorite car out of them all. Nice to drive and easy to fix. The colors are simple. I wish they would bring the Monte Carlo back. Great car. Was sad to see it go. The Camaro is ok but this one was better.

We have purchased Chevy vehicles for at least 10 years. We have never had a complaint about any of our vehicles. The new innovations from the power plant, to the look and style of the vehicles has always been an eye catcher. We look forward to our next vehicle and the way things are looking by the time we are ready they will be flying Chevy's.

My overall experience with my Chevrolet was it was an easy drive. Smooth and effortless to handle at the wheel. The sturdiness and flow of the ride allows the experience almost magical. I like its smooth overall front wheel drive and I am able to drive without any hesitation or any misconduct or concerns. However, I dislike the Chevrolet Impala's gas mileage.

My Dad worked for GM for over 30 plus years on the line and other departments in the Ohio plant so with total shock pulling into his retirement home in FL 2 yrs ago. We see a Hyundai SUV parked in the driveway. After 10 mins of dogging him out about it. His came back with what most of you suspect. With demand for trucks and SUVs rising year after year GM has gone to cheaper parts in drive train and once damn good engines 200k without a problem. At the same time prices keep going up for some plastic bling that hides the crap underneath. I myself have been a chevy guy for over 40 yrs and many good cars and truck over the years... But no longer!!! Next truck end of this year will be a Tundra Ford and Dodge have problems of their own. For what is worth the Hyundai now has over 100k with zero problems in FL heat and traffic... Would I buy one? NO...Well maybe the genesis v8 425hp.

Purchased a 2018 Cruze LT 4Dr new on 5/18/18. I have had zero problems, it now has 15,400 miles on it. Comfortable ride, adequate power from the 1.4L Turbo. Handles nicely and gets 40-42MPG on highway trips. Well equipped for the price with CarPlay, blind spot monitoring, power and heated seats. Would definitely recommend.

The Chevrolet was what was available to me for a vehicle with the amount of money that I was able to spend at that time and point. I have had nothing but problems with that model and had a Ford been available to me that is what I would have chosen. I am just not a fan of Chevy vehicles. I would rather own a Ford seeing I have never had an issue with a Ford and that is what I grew up around was Ford brand vehicles and when there was a Chevy in my family we always had problems with them.
