Honda Civic Si leak repairs

Honda Motor Company, commonly simply known as Honda is a Japanese public multinational conglomerate manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan.

The 2022 Honda Civic Si is arguably the sweet spot in the brand's small-car line, with a near-perfect ratio of performance and daily-driver traits. Since the regular Honda Civic it's based on was just transformed for a new generation, the Si benefits from the same improvements to its interior space and roster of features. A specially tuned chassis and punchy turbo-four engine give the Civic Si the performance to compete with sport compacts such as the Subaru WRX and VW Golf GTI, both of which were also recently redesigned. Plus, the Civic's sub-$30,000 price tag helps it deliver on value. The 2022 Civic Si sedan will continue to only offer a manual transmission and front-wheel drive, and its fun-to-drive nature carries on, too.

Product Reviews:

I own 2007 Civic, Honda issued a warranty on engine block, overheat cause a crack in the engine to which they are covering only the engine block and the warranty doesn't apply towards other part of the engine which will surely damage because of the original issue. In my case, service rep found that cylinder head is damaged and after keeping me on phone for several hours and keep me waiting for 2 days they replied they won't cover. This costed me $2500 which is same if I take it to other mechanic (quoted $2900 to rebuild whole engine).

My parts are on critical back order for repairs for my brand new 2021 CRV. My car has been in the shop since October and Honda has yet to reimburse my car payment or call me back regarding a loaner!!!

I leased a brand new 2016 Honda Odyssey in Oct 2015. Since then I have returned for service numerous times to 1) replace an ignition coil; 2) replace the battery two (2) times (4 additional times it needed to be jumped); and 3) repair of seat warmers. These have represented more than mere inconvenience. Most rational people would say this car is a "lemon". Aside from one month lease payment, Honda America dismisses these problems as simply the result of mass production. My representative repeats the same scripted response each and every time I call them. To add insult to injury, I used Honda Roadside assistance, asking them to send a tow truck. What arrived was an old Neon with its side view mirror dangling off and obvious accident damage to the vehicle, with cables that could not reach from his vehicle to mine. Totally ludicrous!! They do not stand behind their products; they lie; provide shoddy products and services; and most alarmingly, dismissed me and my concerns as a consumer. Beware of their tactics and think twice about investing in a Honda. The Honda brand is not what it once was.

I bought a Honda Civic sedan 2010 from the Authorized dealer here in Egypt, but I face some problems with them. The Steering wheel material started to peel off and I went to the authorized dealer (Al) for it to be repaired. They replied that it is a common complaint in this car, but they can't include it in the warranty although my warranty is still active! Please advise what I should do. Thank you.

Upon leaving the house a couple months ago, loading the kids in the car then, bam, the back passenger door falls, breaking the cable and damaging the fender in the process. Calls to Honda make it apparent they do not plan to do anything for a design flaw causing a safety concern for my kids who ride right next to this door. The repair from them is in excess of $1500! Then we are loading up today and bam, second back slider cable breaks! Now this door has our 6 month old baby right next to it! This is our only family vehicle, and to put icing on the cake, the sole provider for the family is off work for a back injury! Honda refuses to pony up and assist with issues despite calls asking why our 4 year old car is falling apart, their answers, normal wear and tear is not covered and we will have to foot the bill entirely on our own! Honda quality is nothing what it used to be and their customer service and support is laughable. Before these issues we were ecstatic to share our new car and tell everybody how great it was, now I would not recommend this car to my worst enemy!

These people would change agreed upon terms at every opportunity to switch things around to squeeze more money out of the customer (me). I have never ever dealt with anyone as desperate as this group of people. I can only guess that it's because they are not being paid a decent wage.

On a high speed, trying to over-take, the car just slowed down and it just went off. Getting to the road side mechanic for a first aid, it was discovered that the top cylinder is spoiled. It was changed and the car started, but it has refused to go on slow. The car was taking to an auto-tap machine for diagnostic, ten problems were detected and rectified, yet it still persisted with not slowing. Each time it approaches a hold up or bumps, it will go off. I have tried all mechanics but it’s not working out. So what are your suggestions, please? It’s about a week now.

I own a 2011 Honda Accord of which I bought brand new in May of this year. Within three days of buying, I turned on the A/C and it wouldn't work. I took it in and they said that it wasn't plugged in from the factory. The funny thing is that I had the checklist from the factory and the A/C was signed off as working. Hmm! The second incident was when the car had about 3,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I took it in and they said that my O2 sensor was bad and they needed to replace it. Upon switching out the O2 sensor, they realized that the VTEC solenoid had a leak and it was leaking oil over the O2 sensors destroying it. They then replaced them both.My Honda now has about 10,000 miles and the A/C quit working again within the past two weeks. I took it in today and they told me that a small rock must have flown through my grill puncturing my A/C condenser and all of the freon leaked out. Now, I need multiple parts replaced. The cost is about $960 and it is not covered by the warranty. The serviceman told my husband that he sees this happening a lot. It is so frustrating to purchase a Honda that is supposed to be one of the most reliable cars and it is constantly failing. I am afraid to pay the grand to fix it only to have it possibly happen again. I think that I have counted eight times that it has been in/out of the shop to either be assessed or fixed. I am so done with Honda's!

Honda Civic 2007 LX - 7 years later, replacing corroded right front engine mount ($675 approx.) - forums say this is common. Previously, airbag system shuts down one month after paying off car (5 yrs.) due to failed passenger-side airbag sensor in seat ($1000+ to fix - didn't bother). Based on experience with Honda "quality", it's over for me and Honda. This will be the last ever Honda for us. Buying the second Honda was a mistake.
