Audi is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. As a subsidiary of its parent company, the Volkswagen Group, Audi produces vehicles in nine production facilities worldwide.

The Audi Q8 is a luxury SUV that combines performance, sophisticated design, and advanced technology. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here are some key features and aspects of the Audi Q8:

Performance:

The Audi Q8 is typically equipped with powerful engines, often including V6 and V8 options. Quattro all-wheel drive is usually standard, providing enhanced traction and stability.

Design:

The Q8 features a coupe-like design with a sporty and dynamic exterior. It often includes Audi's signature Singleframe grille, full LED headlights, and a sleek roofline.

Interior Comfort and Technology:

The interior of the Q8 is designed with premium materials and advanced technology. It may include features such as a dual-touchscreen infotainment system, virtual cockpit display, smartphone integration, and high-quality upholstery.

Seating Capacity:

The Q8 typically offers seating for five passengers in a luxurious and spacious cabin. The rear seats may be foldable to provide additional cargo space.

Safety Features:

Audi equips the Q8 with a range of safety features, including advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and more.

Cargo Space:

While the Q8 prioritizes a stylish and coupe-like design, it still provides a reasonable amount of cargo space. The rear seats can be folded down to accommodate larger items.

Variants:

Audi may offer different trim levels or variants of the Q8, each with varying features, performance levels, and customization options.

Connectivity:

Audi vehicles typically come equipped with advanced connectivity features, including Bluetooth, USB ports, and integration with smartphone platforms like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Build Quality:

Audi is known for its commitment to build quality, and the Q8 reflects this with attention to detail and high-quality materials.

Brand new 2024 Audi A6 TDI - I have 6000 km and there are a few things that I don't like about the car but will not mention them as I should have been more detail-oriented when I tested the car. You should never rush into buying an car unless it meets ALL your safety requirements. What I am complaining about has to do with the brakes. They grab when you have almost stopped. They seem to stick when they are wet. They make a sound as though the pads and caliper are stuck. If you slowly pull out with your foot still on the brake, they make a God-awful sound. And that is when they are dry. When wet, you talk rep your life into your hands with these brakes. They really stick and the sounds are horrible. If I am wearing a soft sporty shoe, I still cannot bring the car to a smooth stop. Forget about it with firmer dress shoes. It's a horrible experience. Guess what? They just gave me a loaner, after I complained about the brakes. It had 400 KM on the odometer and the brakes did the very same thing? They told me that it had to do with some brake technology. I say nonsense. This appears to be an endemic problem. It's unpleasant and dangerous.

I purchased my Audi S7 as a CPO at 49000 miles. The moment I received the car I noticed it had unusual shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, and how it behaves with just stop and go movement. It would be worst in stop and go traffic where the transmission would make a clunky noise and could be felt under the floor. So far they’ve updated ECM and Transmission Software, replaced Mechatronics, replaced multiple motor mounts and control arms ball joints etc, replaced weeping coolant and transmission fluid lines... and after being the 6th week in the shop currently they will replace the Dual Clutch and hope this solves the problem. This has already been my 4th time in the shop and the car has now spent over 60 days in the shop for the same issue. I’m even hesitant to take the car back anymore knowing how hard it was to battle a transmission problem from the start. It’s unfortunate all Techs only look for Fault Codes on a Computer when the problem can be a caused by a mechanical failure. At the end of the day, it’s not a shop foreman’s car, and he will never feel what you feel with the vehicle.

I leased the 2012 Audi Q7 in 2013. From the very beginning, the car burned a lot of oil. I kept having to put 2 qts of oil every time. They would not do a consumption test and said it was all in my head. Now my car barely 4 years old won't start. They told me I might need a new engine and it would cost 18000. But to access it properly I needed to pay 2600 for a proper diagnosis. Customer service would not assist me saying that my car was out of warranty. I thought a 60 something thousand dollar car would perform better. Very disappointed in Audi service and the product.

The transition to myAudi has been poorly managed in general. "myAudi" promises lots of power, but delivers very little. The system is cumbersome to set up and software problems abound. The myAudi help desk is anemic. I've been exchanging calls and messages for weeks, but have not received basic support. I mistakenly assumed that I would receive premium service to match the premium price paid for the vehicle.

Audi has many variations in model. I had a station wagon with turbo and was very pleased with performance when it actually worked and ran. I was loaned the Audi midsize suv or crossover by the dealership whenever I did need repairs done. And was very pleased with the performance on that car as well. Appearance is the one thing Audi has absolutely perfected. The features regarding interior and driving additions were extremely luxurious. Even more so than any other German car I've ever driven. My car was very pimped. Also, it held four passengers just fine. However five was a bit too cramped and the back seat did not seem to have much leg room. I firmly believe they could adjust the A4 wagon by adding space for longer legged back seat passengers.

The Audi 4 I have has blown up two engines with oil sludge problems. This is a bad car and they are giving me no options.

Before taking possession I told the salesman (not mine-he was not in the day of pick up) that the interior wood was wrong. I had proof that a change order had gone through but was told I had to take the vehicle which I had been quite excited about. The Manager was also out so I contacted the dealership the next day. To no avail. I got in touch with Audi in Michigan where they have a special unit Called Flagship since my car the A8L is considered Audi's Flagship vehicle. I sent them all the information including a copy of the verified change order. I wanted them to change the wood or vehicle. I got nothing and what should have been an exciting purchase and experience has caused me to regret going Audi.

Bought my wife a Q7 and were really enjoying it. It has a lot of great technology. Our son just got his learner's permit and has been practicing with my wife in the passenger seat. We have a clay pot near the corner of our garage door that hides the garden hose. My son misjudged the 90 degree turn from our driveway into the garage and hit the pot. His speed was less than 5 miles per hour. The pot suffered no damage (if you get really close, you can see that there is a small stripe of the glazing that has lost a little of its sheen). The Q7, however, fell apart. I had no idea that the bumper and several of the front panels are only held on by clips. Also, some of the electronic sensors for the active cruise control were knocked out of adjustment. Total cost to repair the very fragile Q7 was $4,656.47. I can't imagine how costly the damage would have been if the Q7 was actually involved in a real accident with another vehicle. This is beyond a glass chin. Would its passengers even be safe considering that it falls apart so easily? Consider yourself warned and stay far away.

Audi S8 2007 5.2 v8 - I have been having a problem with the coolant level for more than 12 months. Audi maintenance center tried to solve the problems 4 times and the problem keeps coming back. They do not know how to fix the problem. During this annoying and catastrophic experience through the last year, the car was parked for more than 6 months for solving this problem without any results. The body of the car has been scratched from 5 different areas 2 different times. Is this really how Audi deals in maintenance? I have complained to the GM of Audi in Jordan and he invited me for a cup of coffee at his office. I went there, met him, drank the coffee and the maintenance manager was there. They promised me that this problem will be solved, but the problem still exists without any improvement in this dramatic claim. What should I do?
