Dodge Challenger SRT Demon service costs
Dodge is an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Dodge vehicles have historically included performance cars, and for much of its existence Dodge was Chrysler's mid-priced brand above Plymouth.
The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is an extreme, limited-production variant of the Challenger lineup, specifically designed for drag racing and high-performance driving. It's known for its unprecedented levels of power and performance. Here are the key features of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon:
Supercharged Hemi V8 Engine: The centerpiece of the Demon is its monstrous 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 engine, tuned for drag racing. It produces a staggering 808 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque on standard 91-octane gasoline. When using 100+ high-octane racing fuel and the included Powertrain Control Module (PCM), the output is boosted to 840 horsepower.
Drag Mode: The Demon is equipped with a Drag Mode that optimizes various performance settings for drag racing, including suspension, steering, transmission, and engine calibration.
TransBrake: A TransBrake feature is included, allowing for more precise control of the launch during drag races.
Torque Reserve: The Torque Reserve system builds and manages supercharger boost before launch, helping achieve quicker acceleration off the line.
Widebody Design: The Demon features a widebody design with flared fenders to accommodate wider tires for better traction during drag races.
Performance Tires: It comes equipped with specially designed Nitto NT05R drag radial tires for improved grip.
Demon Crate: Each Demon comes with a custom Demon Crate, which includes tools, performance parts, and accessories. It also includes a passenger seat and rear seat delete kit to reduce weight when racing.
Air-Grabber Hood: The unique Air-Grabber hood features the largest functional hood scoop of any production car, feeding cold air directly to the engine.
Limited Production: The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was produced in extremely limited numbers, with only 3,300 units available for the U.S. market.
Demon Logo and Badging: The Demon features special badging and logos, including a Demon head logo and distinctive "Demon" lettering on the fenders.
Uconnect Infotainment: While designed primarily for performance, the Demon still includes the Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, navigation, and smartphone integration features.
Sound System: A basic sound system is included, although some buyers opted for the available premium sound system.
Limited Warranty: Dodge offered a factory-backed limited warranty that covers the Demon for its intended purpose on the drag strip.

Bought 04 Dodge 3500 diesel 5.9 new in 05, for $42K. Current miles 78K. Replaced ball joints, entire front axle (tire locked up), injector (needs all now), ECM, clear coat peeling. Dodge won't fix any.Vicki of West Plains, MO

I bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan March 2020 through Carvana. The defrost controls didn't work, but it was under warranty so they replaced the whole control board. April 2021 the same thing started again but this time it was just defrost and foot combo. It was no longer under warranty so we had to pay to have it replaced. March 2021 the passenger side only blows out high heat, even when the controls are set to cold and the AC is on. We tried all of the tricks to reset it and nothing has worked. If you google the issue it is something that thousands of people have had the same issue over decades of model years. This should be a recall.Ashley of Sheffield Lake, OH

My 2011 Challenger RT 5.7L drives like a dream and has been very reliable thus far, 2 years now! I did quite allot to it though to make it that way and I have some serious issues with some of what dodge did with this car! First as an RT it should have had a LSD rear end standard, not just a traction control system! 2nd the rear headrests are a blind spot issue and cause wrecks, I removed mine and don't carry passengers in the rear seats. 3rd the cloth seats are junk, I removed and installed a Katzkin leather seat kit on mine, also making it a custom rear headrest delete setup! 4th the exhaust pipes are 2 1/4" dia. on a automatic car making it over rated at 372hp! The stick shift cars get a 2 1/2" dia. pipe size stock, I changed mine to a Gibson 2 1/2" cat-back with resonator exhaust system, now with a drop in K&N filter and a non-resonator cold air box intake tube from a 2011 Charger application, I am getting the full 372 "plus" horse power! 5th there is no transmission dipstick, I bought an aftermarket dipstick tool to service my transmission at 40,000 miles! 6th the rear drive shaft coupler bolts on the rear end side are grade 5 and they break! I replaced mine with pink Dodge SRT Challenger grade 8 bolts shortened 1/4" to fit. 7th the PCV system lets oil get sucked into the intake manifold at all times!? I installed a UPR billet fender mount catch can on the factory fender tab "like one was supposed to be there"? Now controlling the oil issue well! I did not have to deal with all the recall issues as I bought my car used with 42,00 miles on it and the old owner did all that, I have only put 8,000 miles on it! I love the sport tuned suspension as it smooths out the road and you don't feel the harshness of the race tuned version! It handles much better than they say! The 13 3/4" disk dual piston brakes are great but I upgraded to Napa Police rotors up front and Dodge performance pads as the old rotors warped. With the MDS "4-8 cylinder system" I got 27mpg on a 1,200 mile trip cross country! Overall I am very happy with my purchase of the 2011 Dodge Challenger modified car!Donald of Nampa, ID

We really like being part of the Dodge family. It's a brand we trust and will continue to invest in for years to come. We like the hands free feature of the 2016 Dodge Durango and the push start, although we highly dislike the energy saver button. It can be dangerous if it's not working correctly.Summer of Fort Worth, TX

I purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey with around 71,000 miles on it and it just keeps breaking down. I get it fix and then another issue pops up. I haven't even had the chance to enjoy it because I just keep pouring money into fixing it. At this point it's not worth it anymore. I could've purchase another vehicle with what I've paid in repairs. It is currently broke down for the 4th time since getting it with a completely different issue. The vehicle is poorly put together.Lavenus of Renton, WA

My 2015 Dodge Charger has been broken into TWICE! In past year, the alarm NEVER goes off. On top of that, the officers that have some the reports both said the same thing which was "Dodge has a defect in the driver side door lock that makes it quick and easy for thieves to pop it without the alarM going off. Dodge knows of it but hasn't done a recall because they want to save money". I feel like it's very unprofessional to not do a recall on this issue but can do a recall on simple things like jacks and windshield wipers. This issue is costing me $500 (deductible) through my insurance company, something I as a loyal Customer should NOT have to pay for! Reason being, Dodge is being inconsiderate with their customers.Today my husband called Dodge (not the dealership) about the issue and they told us they would not be reimbursing our money because they haven't done a recall. It's very ridiculous. This is my second charger. Because I liked it so much I did an upgrade which ultimately became a downgrade. I will NOT be shopping for Dodge vehicles anymore and will be trading the one I currently have in within the next 30 days. I guess I'll be a Chevy customer next. They'll get my hard earned money before I ever give it to Dodge again! This is a sorry manufacturer, and also my husband will be trading his Ram for a different manufacturer because of the way Dodge treats their customers. Very unprofessional.Candice of Columbia, SC

2 recalls later and my driver window wouldn't go up twice in 5 years. $350.00 to replace. Headrest will not lower to proper fitting size. ICBC recommends 1/2 way up your head on the lowest setting. It's 2 inches past your head. Worst car for blind spot. Absolutely the worst car I've ever owned in 50 years!!Darlene of Canada
