Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automaker Toyota. The Lexus brand is marketed in more than 90 countries and territories worldwide and is Japan's largest selling make of premium cars. It has ranked among the 10 largest Japanese global brands in market value. Lexus is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan.

The Lexus ES is a luxury sedan that prioritizes comfort, cabin space, and a hushed powertrain to help melt away the miles. If you’re looking for a tire-smoking sports machine that loves to attack corners, the ES is not for you. Instead, this Lexus offers a strong and whisper-quiet V-6 or an available hybrid powertrain. Each has a suspension that easily absorbs the worst bumpy pavement and wheel-bashing potholes that are thrown its way. Rivals like the BMW 5-series, Audi A6, and the Acura TLX are ultimately more agile, but the ES prefers that you relax behind the wheel instead of worrying about corner apexes.

Product Reviews:

There was a large selection, many colors and varieties and it was easy to find the one I wanted. The car looked new and was a sleek model. It really reflected the modern vision of what the model should have been and it made me feel elated. Also, the passenger capacity of this car was extremely large. I can fit at least four people in the vehicle and it is great for taking people places. There was a wide variety of upgrade and personalize options that made me proud of my purchase and I was extremely happy with them.

Please relay my message to the senior management. CAN THIS CAR SURVIVE 50,000 MILES WITHOUT ANOTHER LEAK??? 1) Engine oil leak at 15,000 miles only on May 8, 2013 (after merely "2 years old"). 2) ANOTHER 3 LEAKS IN YEAR 2015 ALONE. a) Engine oil leak again on March 27, 2015 (33,802 miles only). b) Less than 2 months, engine oil leak again on May 7, 2015 (35,284 miles only). c) Repeat the 4th time engine oil leak again on Dec. 26,2015 (44,013 miles only). Per all 4 repair service invoices/records provided by Longo Lexus Dealership, California, this is major engine oil leaks problem!!!Had chosen Lexus (also own toyota, bmw, benz autos) at that time owing to its fame of reliability, durability and sleek style. However, it had become a nightmare to me... In addition to the time, inconvenience caused, I basically STUCK WITH IT!!! I CANNOT SELL IT BECAUSE OF OIL LEAK NUISANCE (NO ONE WILL BUY THIS CAR ONCE DISCLOSE OF SUBJECT ISSUE!!!).Additionally, it caused UNSECURE, NON-RELIABLE and MENTAL BURDEN every time driving this car, as I simply tensed and afraid of when this will happen again!!! Not to mention I no longer able to drive this SUV car long distance anymore (initial purpose of buying SUV for comfortable long trip) albeit carrying 44,000 miles only!!! I am extremely, extremely... disappointed, dissatisfied of this ownership. What will be your recommendation of my current awkward situation?!

I want to complain to my Lexus 570 (2011). I bought it from Al Futaim Motors Company LLC which is in UAE. I had issues with the noise from the car when I change the gear (transmission) from R to D. I asked the workshop (sales manager) at the first service (1,000 Km). They tried to repair it but the sound came back again. Also, the car is now in the workshop for the service (40,000 Km) with the same issue. They are still telling me they will find out the problem to fix it. Today, I took the history report of my car to complain about it in the ministry of economy because I feel as I wasted my money when I bought this car. I am looking forward to hear from you.

When the Vehicle Finder function on the Enform Remote app failed to locate my 2018 RX350L, the returned map pointed to location of the key at home instead of actual location of the car which has been left in another city. We called Enform customer service and spoke with Kadijah at 1-800-255-3987 for help with the issues. After approx. half an hour of troubleshooting with the app being re-installed and re-loaded, Vehicle Finder still pointed to location of the key instead of actual location of the car.Customer service Kadijah then created case # ** and advised to us contact dealership for further assistance. Next we called Enform secondary number 1-800-817-8742 and was answered by customer service Emmanuel. This customer service insisted that the car first has to be reported as lost or stolen before it can be located by the app. However, this customer service did not sound like he understand the concept of the remote app and gave answers that are not related to the issues. We were not really happy with his answers and asked to speak with either another Tech Support person or his superior. His response is no such person is Tech support or Supervisor. What an unacceptable behavior for a customer service personnel from Lexus Drivers Enform! We'll definitely file a complaint towards Emmanuel and wish both his superiors and management team from Lexus Drivers Enform [email protected] have read this review. We've also informed Fremont Lexus at 1-510-657-6600 and requested the dealership to escalate the issues.

Radio panel where you see radio stations and the camera for backing up just continuously flickers and strobes. Sometimes it stays clear of 5 minutes then for no reason starts flicker again. Very distracting and dangerous when driving especially at night. No response from Lexus and dealers claim no knowledge but happy to sell me a new car. Issue is well tracked on the internet. Not the brand it used to be. Never again.

I received a letter from Lexus today informing me that my two Lexus cars (IS 250 and ES 350) will be recalled at some point in the future due to a defect in the Takata Front Passenger Airbag Inflator. It said the airbag can deploy due to this defect and possibly send metal fragments through the airbag striking and possibly injuring or killing the vehicle occupant. It also said that Lexus is working on preparing a remedy and will send another notification when the remedy becomes available. Then it says "What should you do?" "Until the remedy becomes available, we recommend that you do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat."So their solution is to not have us drive with anyone in the passenger seat until some unknown time in the future (1 month? 6 months? 1 year? 2 years?), when they finally contact us to fix the defect. This is unacceptable. How are families that need to use the passenger seat to carry everyone supposed to function with this solution? They need to come up with a short time fix until the longer term problem can be resolved, e.g., remove the deadly airbag in the near term and replace it at some point in the future. We have seat belts that can protect the passenger in the meantime and the seat belt will not kill someone unexpectedly. My impression is Lexus sent his note because they are more concerned about their legal liability if the defect occurs and less concerned about how thousands families with IS 250 or ES 350 are suppose operate day to day and never use the passenger seat until Lexus determine the best method for minimizing their costs to address this issue.

BEWARE of SERIOUS safety concerns with South Bay Lexus on Crenshaw service dept. I paid $1700 for new rear brakes and a CV boot. Picked up my car, drove it 4 miles, and attempted to stop at the light before the entrance of the 405. My car would NOT STOP! I had NO BRAKES!! I quickly turned the car left and repeatedly pulled up on my emergency brake and was able to eventually bring my car to a stop. Thankfully, the light before the entrance of the 405 turned red otherwise, I would have entered the freeway with NO BRAKES!! Had to get the car towed back to South Bay Lexus on Crenshaw. They apologized profusely and explained the mechanic neglected to put two of the caliper bolts back! They were very sorry for putting me in a "life threatening situation". I could have been killed and/or killed other people! Obviously, no one drove my car after it was "repaired" to make sure all was good to go. This is absolute negligence on the part of this dealership/service dept.

The Lexus ES350 was top rated for safety and was a Best Buy for 2017. Comfortable and easy to drive, with enough power for emergency situations. I like the rearview camera and lane departure warning systems. The lane departure warning is very helpful, as well as the backup camera. Controls are easy to reach on the dashboard. But I do not like the driver side seat as compared to my BMW seats as it does not hold you in the seat enough. I also dislike the seat headrest as it is too far forward.

I purchased my first Lexus in the Spring of 2017. Everything was fine until the temperature started to drop & I would hear a loud screeching sound when coming to any stop sign. At first I thought that the brakes were bad... But after getting several opinions from the Lexus Dealership and a few others. I was told that this is a common issue and there's nothing that can be done until Lexus upgrades their brake pads/brakes & that I will be put on the "list". Not only is this disappointing because I thought highly of Lexus before but this is extremely EMBARRASSING. I feel as if I'm driving a 89 Pinto. Whenever I make a stop you can hear the loud screeching. Never will I buy a Lexus again!!! Also the Lexus Enform Remote start never works. I like in the Midwest with extreme temperatures below 0. Disappointed that I had to pay extra for something that never works!

Had to replace my windshield for the 2017 RX350. It has been two weeks today. Giving various reasons for the delay and informed that it will be another 6 days, since the windshield is on back order. Shocked to find out that a Company like Lexus manufactures cars with various computerized options that are in the windshield and not produce extra windshield. Building about 1000 cars a day, can we not produce a few extra windshields. After all windshields crack often. Feeling frustrated. Looked at a Caddy. Maybe American made is better. But that is hindsight.
