Acura is the luxury and performance division of Honda Motor Company. The brand was launched in the United States and Canada on March 27, 1986, marketing luxury and performance automobiles.

Like the original that went out of production in 2005, today's Acura NSX aims to deliver supercar looks and performance in an everyday livable package. Indeed, there's plenty of stretch-out space for two passengers, and one needn't fold themselves into an origami crane to get into and out of it. Behind those passengers sits a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that, along with an electric motor, powers the rear wheels; it's assisted by two more electric motors that individually power each front wheel for precise power delivery while turning. Total output is a healthy 573 horsepower. Even so, the NSX is less hardcore than many other mid-engined sports cars at this price point.

Luxury, comfort, power, economy and best dealerships! It's fun to drive and handles well, also looks classy and stylish. The main thing it's made by HONDA, that says volumes. My wife and I took a long car trip and she said this is the first time on a car trip her back didn't get sore. Total Reliability, also MADE IN AMERICA.

Acura MDX, 2014 - Nice appearance. Very nice ride, good Continental tires. Comfortable driver and passenger seats. Both are adjustable. Telescoping steering wheel. Excellent gas mileage, 32 mpg hwy. Good forward and rear visibility. Easy driving controls on steering wheel. Good rear view camera. Good road map and GPS navigation. Adequate mobile communication system. However, complicated destination setup and manual organization.

In two years we have never had an issue with the Acura. Other than a little road noise it has been very dependable with more than adequate power and performance. This is a 2017 model AWD with the 6 cyl engine.

I am current/original first owner of 2005 Acura TL. My car has dashboard cracked and airbag sign showed on screen. And I've researched on web and found this is common issue/problem that many TL owners are experiencing. I recently went to Acura dealership for trade in my '05 TL for 2017 MDX and my vehicle appraised was $0.00. They said they couldn't buy it from me with dashboard cracked and sell it in their dealer. FYI my TL has about 148,000 miles and has good condition.I cannot believe Acura knows there's a problem with dashboard cracked on almost every TL they manufactured and not taking any action. What if there's airbag issue and not function it properly because of cracked dashboard? Is airbag going to function well? This is safety issue and Acura should make recall to check who has dashboard cracked. I don't think I am never going back to Acura again after experiencing this kind of bad service.

I have a 2012 Acura RDX with technology package and only 24,000+ miles on the vehicle. I financed the vehicle in May of 2015 at the end of my 3 year lease and purchased Acura Care for over $2,000 should anything go wrong with vehicle to make sure it is still under warranty. Needless to say, the positive end of the battery cable became so eroded that the cable became loose and was very thin. I have kept up with the regular maintenance but for whatever reason, the battery terminal was never serviced by the technician. The car could not start and I thought the battery was dead. I purchased an after market battery and drove it to Acura dealership on Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn, NY so they could diagnose the problem. It was determined that the cables could have been eroded by 'environmental factors' and the battery needed replacement. Acura replaced the battery since it was still under the 4 year or 50,000 miles original warranty but they stick me with the $400 replacement cost of the battery cable since it is not covered under the original warranty nor under Acura Care. I find this outrageous, since a premium vehicle should not have its cable corroded in less than 4 years. I told the Customer Service case manager that I also have a 2006 Toyota Rav 4 with under 47,000 miles and have never had any issue with the battery cable. They keep referring to 'environmental factors' as a result of the corrosion and therefore not covered since that is not a defect in the cable itself. The car is driven in Brooklyn over 95% of the time with a few trips to CT and 2 trips to Montreal, Canada. The cost of a new premium car, Acura Care for $2000+ and now $400 for battery cable replacement for a vehicle that is not 4 years old yet. Please advise if anyone else has this issue with Acura. They should be held liable for inferior accessories.

I bought my Acura 1 year this past November. My front tires look like this!! I have been through 2 oil changes (One this past November) and tire rotation, only for Acura of Memphis not to mention anything about an alignment. I asked to speak with a service manager and the rep sent me to Doris ** (I knew she wasn't a manager), who made me feel really bad. She said it's my fault that I didn't get an alignment. I'm suppose to get it twice a year (who does that? Who knows that?) She also asked if I read the manual for the service codes??? NO! When service due comes up, I go to Acura of Memphis. I thought this was a one stop shop, but it looks like I have to turn into a mechanic! When I bought the car, I was told oh yeah, oil changes and tire rotations 2x a year. Well according to Doris, it's suppose to be 2 oil changes, 2 alignments, air filters, etc. Sounds like $1000 for maintenance 2x a year. I'm stuck after 1 year, 30k miles, buying two tires ($244 ea and alignment $99).After writing the post above on Facebook, the General Manager, Clifton **, called me very upset. He stated that I post incorrect information. He also stated that Doris was indeed a manager, in which the website stated that she was a service advisor. Per Mr. **, she was promoted 2 weeks or 2 months ago. Mr. ** clearly wasn't trying to resolve my problem, but was very argumentative. I told him multiple times that my problem clearly isn't a tire problem, but an alignment problem. He totally ignored me and started reading some script talking about what Acura does for their customers. His tone was very negative and I don't ever care to speak with him again. I am not sure why a General Manager would call a customer irate. I have replaced the two tires and got an alignment. No help to Acura of Memphis or the General Manager.

Acura offers quite a very big variety of cars and is my trusted brand so I would highly recommend them when you're looking for a car/truck. I would go to them day/day for cars/trucks. My car is quite the piece from them and they're amazing. They're also very trustworthy. They have their own style and it is beautiful just the way the cars/trucks are.

Acura continues to advertise that the ILX has more headroom than the TSX, and many competitors. I have been to Acura Headquarters and they refuse to discuss this. I wonder what else they are lying about?

I started my 2012 TSX and got intermittent flashing of my "check power steering system", total loss of power steering physically. I asked Acura for concession and they declined. I haven't been able to drive my car cause of unsafe amount of force to turn steering wheel at low speeds. Also, the estimate was outrageous. $740 just for the new EPS control module. I find other failures of 2012 TSX EPS, one of them is here on this site, Victoria of Millstone Township NJ. Another failure on Acurazine blog site, found it through google search of 'electronic power steering failure 2012 TSX'.

I loved the car and I was very happy with the interior. The stereo sounded great and the seats were comfortable. My two kids are comfortable enough in the backseat with all of their accessories. Three people could also sit back there. The trunk is roomy enough as well. However, anytime I go to buy a car from Acura the colors available are very limited. I'm not patient so I drive away with a bland color. Every time I tell myself going in that in nor selling for less than I want but I always do. My car also came with the basics, but I could have paid extra to get a remote starter and an alarm system.
