Hyundai Motor Company, often abbreviated to Hyundai Motors and commonly known as Hyundai, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967.

The elegantly styled 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT has the dubious task of unseating esteemed hatchback rivals, especially since two of them are on our 10Best Cars list. Don't get us wrong. Hyundai's compact hatchback has many redeeming qualities that include a smooth ride and a fuel-efficient base engine. Unfortunately, it also has disappointing acceleration and driver-assistance technology is only offered on the most expensive model. While it's athletic enough to entertain most buyers, the sportier Hyundai Elantra GT N Line provides the added power and enhanced agility that we prefer. Inside, the Elantra GT is filled with attractive materials that are nicely pieced together. Its excellent infotainment system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, but the touchscreen's garish bezel disrupts the otherwise sharp aesthetic.

Product Reviews:

I got a loaner that is supposed to be paid by my warranty and the dealer did not pay their bill at Enterprise rental. Enterprise had my cc and charged me for the rental. I was told by Hyundai warranty that I will not be reimbursed. Hyundai warranty division is inept, unprofessional and of low standards. In other words, they suck big time. I will never ever buy another Hyundai again and I will tell everyone who listen about this crappy ** company!

If ever you want to know what Customer service is all about, visit the Hyundai dealership at 1505 Dundas St., in Whitby. The ultimate professionals were assisting us, Gabe ** the Finance Director and Samira ** the sales associate are part of this amazing team, at this location. My son was purchasing his first vehicle. The ease and process they used in making it happen, was astounding, smooth, and welcoming. I know where me, my wife, and the kids are getting our next car. Thanks so much guys, for making our experience so memorable.

Leased a Hyundai Sonata 2013 and after 3 years, returned the call, and was hit with a disposition fee of $400, plus tax! No one ever told me about it, so I called Hyundai Finance and was told "too bad, you must pay today or it will go to a creditor". So I asked for a payment plan and they said "no, too bad on you." Now waiting for a manager to call! Never will buy/lease a Hyundai ever again!

I have two Hyundais and we are very pleased with them. However; I am very dissatisfied with Hyundai's clandestine practices regarding Blue Link. My credit card was charged for renewal of the Blue Link in the amount of $148.10 on September 17, 2015. I did not receive my statement until October 21, 2015. I called and canceled the subscription but was told that I would only be receiving a prorated credit amount in the amount of ~$120 since I was one month into the subscription. I did not know I had the subscription until I received my card statement. This is clearly unfair and deceiving business practices the kind that the Consumer Affairs Division of the state attorney's office salivates over. I will share this information with the my friends who I shared my high marks of Hyundai with who also purchased Hyundais. With my vehicles, this will account for a total of 9 vehicles sold with my endorsement.

Got a lemon. 4/26/19 bought a Tucson. Less than 1 week it had to be towed in due to an antifreeze leak. The horn coil insulation was falling off. They fixed the leak but not the coil problem. Then another week passed and the vehicle would not exceed 40 miles per hour. The vehicle was towed in yet again. It has been in the shop over a week now. No one has given me an answer or solution. The paperwork has not been fully processed yet either. I received a renewal from motor vehicle for my old vehicle that I traded in. I received an email from my credit report stating my debt to income ratio was very poor because the new vehicle was added but the old one was not removed. Which means it was not paid off yet. I also received a letter from the credit union about the old vehicle needing extra coverage. I no longer have this vehicle and yet due to lack of submitted paperwork am being hassled.I contacted Hyundai corporation and filed a claim. They were supposed to contact me this week and the week is over and I have heard nothing from anyone. Please save yourself a huge headache and buy a different vehicle. I guess the only way to resolve this is with a lawyer. Sad world we live in. No one seems to care about the consumer.

Why is it that whenever you buy the extended warranty and then need the dealership to honor that warranty, it covers everything except the work that you need? I have a 2012 Elantra with the extended warranty and the AC broke. Now Piazza Hyundai in Limerick PA says it will cost me over $700 to replace. This is fraud. What else could it be.

I own a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. I can promise you I will never own a Hyundai again. My car has been at the shop 3 1/2 months none of the recalls have been checked. The car still cuts itself off. Hyundai keeps calling and telling me that they fix the issue only for me to go test drive the car and it still Loses power. They keep telling me it’s one thing charging me an arm and a leg And the car continues to lose power. First they told me the engine needed to be cleaned charge me $350. Test drove it still losing power. Then they tell me it’s coil pack number 3 charge me $280 to remove one bolt. Needless to say that still didn't fix the issue. Then they tell me it’s coil pack number 4. Another $280. Guess what the issue still isn’t fixed. They refused to fix my car And want to charge me $910 before they release my car to me. None of the things they told me was wrong with the car fixed the issue. I’ve missed over 30 days of work because we are down to one car. Nearly $4000 between missed work and repairs that never needed to be done. Hyundai is putting me and my family at danger along with other families with their vehicle. I’m guessing until someone gets seriously hurt or dies it’s not their problem.

Although I love my car, I have to say without question, DO NOT BUY OR LEASE HYUNDAI CARS. On November 26, 2016 I leased a 2017 Hyundai and turned in my 2014 Hyundai to the local Hyundai dealer. My lease payment went up about nine dollars a month. My bank inadvertently sent the new payment to the 2014 account instead of the new 2017 car account. I received a collection call on a Sunday saying I was two weeks passed due. I paid it again on the phone and started to check out why they did not receive it. When I called Hyundai Finance approximately six weeks after turning in the 2014 they said they had the extra money but were keeping it until the 2014 car closes out. MY BANK SENT THE MONEY IN ERROR. It is now nine weeks since I turned in the car and they still have my money. I will never buy a Hyundai product again even though it is a great car and I am now on my second Hyundai. I have checked with Mission Hills Hyundai, a terrific dealer, who is trying to get Hyundai to send me my refund. They keep apologizing however I still am out the money. The Hyundai Finance people are extremely hard to deal with. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI PRODUCT!

Hyundai is NOT committed to the safety of its owners. Despite a nationwide recall on my vehicle model ('07 Sonata) due to malfunctioning air bag systems, the local dealership instead tried to blame my car's erratic air bag on/off indicator on an electronics short/seat belt issue and extort $360 from me to repair it. Calling the Hyundai Customer Care Center resulted in plenty of canned answers and false sympathy but no resolution. Very disappointed by the total lack of concern and support for this vital component; it's not like I'm trying to get a free upgrade or anything... just working airbags!! I guess that's too much to ask for Hyundai.

Sad and Disappointed, Hyundai Customer support sucks. Have been writing to them for over 2 months. Zero product knowledge. Customer service guys call back and talk to me asking, "What car you want to buy?" They look at the car for First time. I doubt they even work for Hyundai. I know more about Hyundai than these guys and have been driving Hyundai for 17 years, no more! Trading in for new Tesla. At least the Brand cares for its customers!!!
