Acura is the luxury and performance division of Honda Motor Company. The brand was launched in the United States and Canada on March 27, 1986, marketing luxury and performance automobiles.

The new Acura TLX aims to reclaim the performance image that once helped Honda's luxury brand stand out. Along with a stylized design that looks faithful to the concept car, the 2021 TLX marks a return to form of sorts by resurrecting the revered Type S high-performance nameplate. While it'll feature a a gutsy turbo V-6 engine, the regular version has a potent turbocharged four-cylinder. Acura also offers every model with its effective Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), which has become a company staple. A new dedicated platform with a more sophisticated chassis enhances the car's ride and handling compared with the outgoing model. Likewise, the 2021 Acura TLX receives a snazzier interior that helps it better compete against rivals, such as the BMW 3-series and Cadillac CT5.

Product Reviews:

Do not try to purchase a vehicle from this Dealership…. Very shady, unethical business practices!!!! I came in to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. Found her dream vehicle, took it for a test drive, made an offer on it, they accepted the offer, gave them a down payment of $1000, as per their request, received a fully executed purchase agreement signed off by David ** (Finance Mgr). My daughter wanted to finance it on her own in which they tried to get for her. After a few days I said forget it. I will just pay cash for the vehicle. I asked if I could come pick on Friday. They pushed me off until Monday. When I called on Monday they said, "Let’s try for Tuesday." On Tuesday I received a call from the salesperson, who stated, oops they sold the vehicle to somebody else. How can they sell the vehicle to somebody else when I had a purchase agreement, money down on it…I immediately called the general manager, John ** and left several voicemail and written messages for him, three days in a row… Not even a courtesy call back. They still have my $1000 downpayment… Also they tried to sell me a car with 15,000 more miles on it in horrible condition, different color... Saying it would be an even trade. Not even close. Stay as far away from this place as you can. There are other reputable Acura dealers that are so much more professional and ethical and do the right things for their customers. I will be putting in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as also writing a letter to the corporate office of Acura/Honda to express my opinion and our Attorney may be getting involved to seek legal recourse… I do not understand how in this day and age something like this could have happened… Nobody had an excuse for it. They just said the vehicle was sold…. Stay away!!!

We bought a certified pre-owned 2019 MDX hyrbid in June 2021, and it is a lemon. We've had four breakdowns in less than 2,000 miles worth of driving time, all involving components of the car that should not break down in a vehicle that has less than 30,000 miles on it. The car has been in the shop over 40% of the time we've owned it, and we cannot use it for the thing we bought it for - long family road trips - because it breaks down once every couple of weeks. On top of that, Acura's customer service has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They do not respond to any written communications and make it as difficult as possible to try to resolve your issue. We still have not been compensated for the substantial out of pocket expenses we suffered from the first breakdown in July, which was a life-threatening incident that stranded my family away from home for a day.I bought this car because Acura supposedly has a reputation for great cars and great service. This experience has exposed both of those ideas as lies. Stay far, far away.

I am a huge fan of Acura as well as Samsung and anything about cars and electronics intrigues me. I own a TSX ACURA year of 2010, I am greatly in love with it. Acura has a nice sleek look that make it different from other cars on the road today in 2016. The best part about it that it is luxury but not too expensive, great running car and very dependable. Plus you can fit one person in your front seat and 3 in the back with enough seat belts for everyone. I like factory items on an Acura to keep it classy, however, I did spice up my TSX up with some custom wheels, black and chrome. They go great with the car and makes it look like a combination of sport and luxury. However, I have had an issue with the navigation system draining too much battery causing my battery to go dead frequently.

Overall love the Acura TSX. V6 is great. Mechanically any issues have been minor, mostly electrical. But the finish isn't holding up as well as I would hope or expect from Acura. Had peeling paint issues with a prior Honda product as well (Accord).

The Acura CL is the most reliable car I have ever owned. The only thing that goes wrong is the normal wearing of parts. It's a 1997 car and was totaled once, but I had it towed so a new transmission could be installed and it runs perfectly. For a 1997 vehicle it has automatic door locks so I can lock and unlock the doors from a distance. It also enables you to open your trunk as you approach the car, especially helpful when your arms are full of items. It has a sunroof which is always nice to have. The things that would improve the car are things available in today's cars, like a Bluetooth connection for your cell phone or a GPS that will give you directions. Heated seats would be nice and better speakers for the radio and CD player.

Acura provides a number of different vehicles to choose from, from sport sedans to luxury SUVs. They offer mid to high range vehicles that are tightly tuned and a blast to drive. Acura vehicles all look very sharp, with trim features you'd expect to see on a luxury car. The trim lines are sleek and the headlamps make the front end look stylish. However, they don't give a lot of options to upgrade, but most features already come standard. A technology package is usually available which usually gives navigation and a few extra bells and whistles. Depending on the model, you can expect ample interior space for passengers and cargo. Some of the smaller sport sedans may sacrifice rear leg room, but this is expected in this type of model. The SUVs are spacious.

Acura offers many different options and MDX is a good one. It's the only we looked at. I knew I wanted an SUV with all the bells and whistles. I think I got everything FBI was looking for in a new vehicle. It has a pretty sporty appearance too and the options are far better than the average vehicle. First time I've owned an Acura and so far it's been a good car. It is roomy and it has the 3rd row seating. I like it because I have to haul extra kids around or put them In the back so I don't have to hear them.

I have 2013 Acura MDX. It was good and smooth when the mileage was about 40000-50000 but after the mileage went higher the transmission got problem, it will shake every time I tried to be from 45-50 mile per hour.

Acura of Memphis service department. I took my brand new car in for an oil change. My Acura RDX had no problems when it went in. When I got the car back from the service department, I left the service department and once I got on the road and hit the brakes the car’s brakes something underneath makes a hard click. I recognize this tactic from the days when dealerships service departments would service your car and when you drove away something else would happen and you would need service for the problem. I plan to take it to my honest mechanic and ask him to evaluate the problem.

Bought a 2017 RDX Advance only to find out that 1/2 the features will not work without purchasing Acura link. Has been almost a week trying to set it up because they put in a wrong email address. It still doesn't work! I have found them to be unhelpful, and incompetent! Hands down my worst car buying experience! Like the RDX. Hate the "customer care".
