Hyundai Motor Company, often abbreviated to Hyundai Motors and commonly known as Hyundai, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Hyundai Motor Company was founded in 1967.

The 2020 Hyundai Elantra GT is a tidy and efficient package with clean, elegant design, but the GT suffix promises a bit more sportiness than it can deliver. It is not a particularly quick car. Instead, the base car with its mandatory six-speed automatic transmission is more in the mold of the highly lauded Volkswagen Golf—which, in our opinion, is one of the best hatchbacks you can buy. The base GT offers excellent fuel economy, class-leading cargo space, and a high level of standard equipment for the money. Its interior is sensibly designed and incorporates one of the most intuitive infotainment systems on the market—all Elantra GTs come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Step up to the Elantra GT N Line, though, and things get a little saucier. The N Line, so named to align with the company's new performance offerings, gets a more powerful turbocharged engine, summer tires, and a choice of either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Product Reviews:

The vehicle is a bit noisy. Not the most comfortable car I have sat in. Eventually the seat belt on the drivers side was hard to fasten. Like the locking system, the rear camera and rear washer whipper.

Our new 2013 Sonata Hybrid is getting around 26 MPG, not the 37-40 MPG that was advertised. We purchased the vehicle summer of 2013. So far company is blaming it on the cold after 2 dealership visits. We understand that a few miles can fluctuate, but 11-14 is significant. We would appreciate a follow-up. Thank you.

I have a 2007 Elantra. First, I had to replace the rack and onion at 75000 miles, which is highly unusual for a vehicle. Of course it was just 10k over mileage to be under the warranty. The certified Hyundai dealer told me this was the problem and I had it replaced but the steering still felt sloppy and I made them keep looking. When they finally looked at it they realized the bearings in the steering shaft were worn. They were going to charge me for this but I told them I just paid 1200 for a fix I may not have needed and the dealer did not charge. When I came in to pick up the car the dealer as Lee said they would cover it under the power train -- I still haven't figured out how the steering column is covered and the rack was not. I also reported this to Consumer Affairs and they listened but didn't do anything to make it right. Now the car has 85,000 miles on it and it has stalled out when I'm going slow or idling. It's happened about 4 times in 6 months and it is very dangerous because it's so random. I hate my Hyundai and will never buy another one. It's a great warranty on a piece of junk.

I have a 2019 Veloster with the Silver Coverage Plan which include electrical repairs. My car would not start after just parking it less than 5 minutes earlier. I had it towed to Happy Hyundai in Oak Lawn, IL and two days later I was informed by Hyundai that my car needed a lock cylinder and ignition switch but it wasn't covered by the warranty because it appeared to the mechanic that force was administered but in the same breath the mechanic told me to use a screw driver to start my vehicle. This Hyundai Dealership and manufacturer's warranty are unethical. I'm sure a recall will surface about this same issue but until then, customers will be held responsible.

Great on has mileage, comfy for long trips, are at 96,000 mile mark and no issues with this car except a few minor details. Little to no servicing except regular checks and tired. Cons: Side mirror sticks, paint on handles has peeled off, 2 pieces back trim window replaced. 6 years, not bad at all!!

It was in decent condition and within my budget range. I like the gold color and it's good on gas. It's reliable and comfortable enough to get to and from where I need to be. Otherwise, it's an average car with average features and has some issues, but that's typical for a used car. Maintenance is expensive, I wish it wasn't as much to upkeep. It's also an older car, so its features work but are pretty dated. Also, the beige upholstery is god awful and dated.

This Hyundai car is just the right size, the amount of gas it burns is great, it gives a comfortable ride. There is plenty of room for passengers, the trunk is very large and great room for suit cases and groceries. Having front wheel drive and it handles well in the snow. Also, it has air conditioning, cruise control, CD player with an AM/FM radio, a five speed automatic, rear window defroster and keyless lock. Another feature is that the rear seats fold down allowing you to place big objects in the back, if the trunk is not big enough. The car also has driver and passenger side air bags. Though it did not have a spare tire it did have a tire inflator that can plug into an accessory socket. But I wish the car had a bigger engine because it lacks power and a rear camera would make it more easy to back up, it should also come with Bluetooth to make pairing with smart phones and MP3 players.

We purchased a Hyundai Elantra in 2009 hoping to get at least 100,000 miles value, but to my disappointment the transmission went after 75,000 miles thankfully was still under warranty. 10,000 miles later the motor in the power steering has gone, which when we went to dealer they informed us the 10yr/100,000 mile warranty does not cover this only transmission & engine, so their bumper to bumper warranty is false. Our personal mechanic has informed us that this is happening frequently. Why has there been no safety re-call? Does some tragedy have to occur before this is a safety recall?

Veloster is the worst car I have owned. The car is only two years old and I have had a list of problems with the car. The water pump was replaced at 3000 miles. I have had problems with the sunroof since day one, with car as well. I have also had the fuel pump, fuel rail, catalytic converter, front hub and axle replaced as well. Now today my navigation & radio went on the car. I have made complaints to corporate Hyundai and left numerous calls with no callback. Not only do they make a poor car, their customer service is just as bad.

I have a used 2013 Hyundai Sonata and recently gas gauge just stop working while I was driving. Was saying that it was empty but I know I had a half a tank of gas. I let it sit for awhile and it started back right but stop again. And now my check engine light on. Has anyone else had this problem and what was done?
