POS. First cant reverse without shutting off mower (Husqvarna 46 Rider w/ lg bags) or unengaging blade which causes unneeded stress on drive belt being engaged off and on (a lot!). Lever to engage/unengaged slams your right knee cap! OW! Safety??? Bagging SUX! Bought large bags. They are terrific. Problem is the mower clogs constantly. Wet or Dry = clog. Short or tall = clog. Small twig = clog. I spend more time with this crappy mower then I ever did with my old Sears on the Fender shifter. Takes me an EXTRA HOUR to mow my 1 acre. Tires? SUCK! Small uphill grade and the tires just spin. DO NOT BUY this mower unless you like frustration and have a great deal of time you dont need.

TS 243 product 960410379 00 serial 040615 A002806 year 2015 Bought new and used once to cut the lawn. Developed a heavy fuel line leak. On inspection the fuel line below the petrol tank had been worn through by the cutting belt. Need to check if this is a regular assembly problem as it is a serious fire hazard.

I bought a Husqvarna 48 riding lawn mower from a Lowes store. The mower starts easily and runs well. It also has plenty of power. It uses a lot of gasoline. Power takes fuel I know. My biggest complaint is with the mower deck. I feel it is either sub-standard or a bad engineering design. When I make a pass mowing my lawn there are 1 to 2 sections/lines of grass between the sides of the deck that did not get mowed down. This requires me to make 1 to 2 additional passes to mow those lines. Any ideas how this can be remedied?

I purchased a new Husqvarna 2042LS riding mower. I did not receive an owners manual. I found no satisfaction following several requests. The Husqvarna site wants $29 to tell me if manual will be provided. It should have been provided.

I purchased the mower several years ago for residential land mowing for fire protection. The manual does not detail the required tightening of the pulley or blade. Hence the interface material suffers. You can tighten them as much as you want but the parts still wear out. $$$$$$$$$ 1. The material used in the drive spindle spline is very strong and the pulley material is very soft, hence it easily wears out. Same with the bottom of the drive spindle where the bottom star is soft material and the blade is very STRONG, hence the spindle wears out quickly. $$$$$$$$ 2. ZERO customer support. I have left a total of 5 requests over the years to contact the factory and the common response is, thank you and a factory representative will contact you in 1-2 business days. NEVER HAPPENED. Last request was in mid May, NADA.I can fix my problem because I have the experience and tools to do so. HOWEVER, any lay person is at the mercy of the poor customer service and expensive replacement parts cost. My hope was to communicate with the factory as to the problems I have been subject to and wanted to offer engineering solutions. They seem to not care!!!!

For the amount of money we spent on our Husqvarna YTH26V54 youd expect AT LEAST some quality in the product. However, from the battery constantly draining and needing to be jumpstarted to the belts needing to be replaced as well as a rod breaking. Not worth the money, the hassle, or headaches its provided. Id have better luck with a pair of scissors versus this lawn mower. Research before you buy and dont waste your money on something like this one.

We bought a Zero Turn Mower Husqvarna with a Hydro-Gear transmission and ONLY used it for 2 summers. The transmission went out and neither companies want to warranty out the transmission! I told one of the guys with Hydro-Gear, Im sure you dont have one of these mowers because they are crappy, he laughed and said, No. I will make sure EVERYONE finds out about their crappy mowers and service!!! So pissed!!!

I purchased a PZ60, top of the line zero turn. Costing only $10,500.00 for a lawn mower, and two backpack blowers. Two days of using the first backpack blower, it started acting up, no power. Took it back for service, needs a carb. Week later, its ready to go. Ten minutes of use, no power. Needs a gas cap. The top of the line mower blows a belt at 75 hours and has blown three in six months. Belts are $110.00 a piece but they are covered under warranty for now. Second blower now needs a gas cap because its leaking all over. Again, covered by warranty. First blower has been setting in the garage and hasnt been used. But the reason Im writing this is because the second blower has just completely come apart and the service guy said to throw it in the trash. Husqvarna replaced it under warranty with a new one. Thats all well and good but its been a huge inconvenience and what happens when the warranty runs out. Im screwed. I want my hard earned cash back.
I was at the Husqvarna dealer looking for a new tractor and was talked into
I was at the Husqvarna dealer looking for a new tractor and was talked into this model by my dealer because it had an auto locking rear differential with a Kawasaki engine and rapid release blades. Well, my tractor arrived with missing paint on my deck from those metal deck stops. They have worn the deck down to bare metal before I even used the tractor. It also arrived with paint rubbed off and down to bare metal on their rear hitch plate of the tractor. I was missing a plastic Christmas clip they call it for a side panel below the hood as well. I have now 4.2 hours on the tractor and the auto locking diff is fully locked all the time. What a pain in the butt. It is supposed to lock and unlock as needed. Well, because it is locked all the time, whenever you turn sharp or just a regular turn, the locked rear end tears up my lawn. Lastly, today, I was looking under the deck because I was going to clean it and noticed I dont have the quick release mandrels. Thats right. I was sold a tractor and one of the selling points was the rapid release blades, and my tractor does not have them. It has the standard bolt on blades, no rapid release. Three tractors from Husqvarna for 2013 were sold with rapid release blades: the YT46LS, GT54LS, YT54LS, and yet, after looking at my deck, it does not have the rapid release blades. I am very upset by this. I called the dealer and he looked at the other YT46LS tractors he had in stock, and none of them have the rapid release blades on them. The dealer is not very happy as he had been promoting this feature and has sold lots of those models. Now, he has sold all these model tractors all promised to have the rapid release feature and they dont have it. I called Husqvarna company and explained to them my issues and they told me that if the tractor was supposed to have this feature, then I need to bring the tractor to an authorized Husqvarna repair center and they will have to repair it. But she said the Mandrels are NOT covered under warranty. Now, she goes on to say since I have had the tractor for less than 90 days, I could get a refund from my Husqvarna dealer if they offered it as an option. She said it is up to the dealer if they take refunds or not? Very confusing. At this point, I am very unhappy and would just like to return the tractor for a refund. I have had the tractor for 33 days, so does the dealer have to give me a refund? Even if the Mandrels were supposed to be rapid release Mandrels according to Husqvarna, the Mandrels are not covered by warranty. So how would I get them replaced? I am not paying for new rapid release mandrels to be installed as the tractor was sold to me with having them.

I bought a Husqvarna riding mower in July 2010. After 48 hours of use, the drive belt stretched and the mower stopped. The manufacturer said that they dont warranty belts! I just hope that I dont have to replace the belt every 50 hours!

I have an old push mower from ~2010 with the blade brake and everything including a Honda motor. Just this last year, a few parts have started to wear out like the cables. It should be simple, cheap fixes, but Husqvarna has a lot of plastic parts and have discontinued producing many of them. This has left me with a mower that runs well, cuts well, and works well, but due to a single $15 cable the mower is trash (or I am left with some bad DIY fix). This mower has been a beast, so reliable and dependable and has performed well beyond expectations, but I never imagined I wouldnt be able to replace a simple $15 cable after 10 years... Im probably off to Toro where they keep running for 20+ years and parts are still available.

I purchased a Husqvarna MZ5424 last year and it keeps breaking mower deck mandrels (the bearing housing that the shaft for the blades goes thrown). I have broken 5 of these, and now I am told that the part is on BACK ORDER. I thought I was buying a good quality machine; instead, I find that I purchased a wimpy pos that cant even mow a yard without breaking, never mind a field or something heavier. My antique John Deer blows this thing away as far as reliability.

A one year old lawn mower has broken. A very shoddy made part, which sells quite well on eBay by many sellers for a low price, yet cant get the warranty repair needed. Will pick up the mower tomorrow, either take it somewhere else to be repaired, or bring it home, order the part from eBay and repair it myself. Husqvarna warranty is no good if the warranty repair shop wont do it. Warranty shop is in Opp Alabama.

We had ordered an AWD Push lawnmower online and picked up at Ace Hardware. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! Ace Hardware will not take this back/exchange and we had it less than 1 month. Mowed lawn once. Husqvarna DOES NOT CARE about customer satisfaction!!!! It does not work well with bushes, fine if you just go straight. BEWARE when you buy any products from this company. Very unhappy in Georgia!!

In April I bought a new Husqvarna mower from a local authorized dealer. The mower has never mowed level. After several tries to adjust the level myself (the turning of one nut) I contacted the dealer about it. They took it to their shop and reported back that I had bent a blade. I thought that was not true since it had not mowed level since its delivery, but I said OK and paid for new blades. It still did not mow level. They took it back to shop and replaced a part of the leveling mechanism, it still did not mow level. After keeping it a week doing whatever they brought it back today and I just finished mowing my yard and it is somewhat better but still is not level. I am contacting them tomorrow to take it back for the fifth time. I am getting so tired of this. If they cant fix it this time I will try to sell it and buy me another brand mower.

I have had this lawn tractor for 26 months. Ive lost count how many times its been back to the dealer. This is a POS. It wouldnt start in cold weather, and now it wont move forward or backward. It has 112 hours on it. After, 105 hours, I had to replace a pulley on the mower deck. I am totally dissatisfied with this mower. The dealer doesnt even sell them anymore. Im going to ask for money back, but he probably wont do it. My opinion - Do not buy any lawn tractors manufactured by this company!

I purchased a McCulloch 42 inch riding mower that is made by Husqvarna. It has the same Intek Briggs & Stratton engine, and the salesman told me that it was essentially the same as the Husqvarna. Well, if it is, they are both undependable, and poorly made. The engine stalls every time that the blade is engaged. The battery died on the day that I bought it. It backfires, and is hard to start. I returned it for a refund on the first day because of all of the problems. After reading the reviews I am in at a loss as to what riding mower to buy that will be reliable and dependable. Any recommendations???

I see a lot of complaints about theses tractors; Ive had exactly the opposite experience. I put 550 hrs on my tractor on my farm in Oklahoma before any problems. I worked it hard and am finally upgrading to a new gearbox which should make it last many more years.
Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of
Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of gas. The service center could not determine the cause, but replaced cylinder and piston. After 8 more tanks of gas, the engine seized. The piston/cylinder burned up again. The service center reported a metal support between the carb and head was missing from the factory. During the first repair, the technician noticed it missing and thought they changed the design. They explained that after the saw warmed up, it would allow air to leak into the head causing the saw to run too lean and too hot. As this was a factory error, I expected an apology or a new saw, but received neither. I paid $1,100 for this factory defect saw and would be lucky to get half of that for this saw that has burned up twice. I asked for a refund or a new power head but Husqvarna would do neither. They said it would still be covered under warranty, but I would rather be cutting logs than waiting for repair service. At this point, I do not trust this saw that has been exposed to extreme heat twice and have to baby the saw or take a loss and sell it. Husqvarna did not do me right and I will never purchase a Husqvarna product again. If you are considering purchasing a Husqvarna, be forewarned.

Why does your tractors have a history of the rear transaxle snapping. I own a Husqvarna LGT2654. I am only cutting about a half of a acre of grass. The tractor still looks like I just bought it. I take care of my stuff. I lived here for 37 years and never had that happen. My last tractor I owned I drove it for 14 years.

Hi, I purchased a Husqvarna tractor - yth2348 in 2012 which ran OK for 2 years, and since then continually throws off the drive belt every time I try to back the machine up. Its starting to do that in forward direction now too. I put a new drive belt on which did nothing to help, checked the pulleys and belt retainers at the pulleys, and all are good. It is a shame to spend so much money on a tractor that is the most unreliable machine I have ever operated. And I am a heavy equipment operator. I usually dont write reviews but feel compelled to tell everyone from what I have read about Husqvarna machines and my own experience... DO NOT EVER purchase a Husqvarna ANYTHING! THEY are all junk, and the US Attorney General should intervene as it is a CRIME to sell these pieces of Husqvarna junk.

I am amazed at the amount of people complaining about Husqvarna products on this site. I have always owned Husky products and never had problems. They made killer motorcycles when I was a teenager and now I use their home and garden machines constantly. I bought a 350 chainsaw when I lived in the Colorado mountains, burning seven cords of wood a season and it has never failed to start on the second or third pull. Now, I live in N.C. where everything grows like crazy, using a YTH 2348 lawn tractor mowing a two-acre yard. Other than replacing a drive belt and a front wheel bearing the keeper ring, it has never given me any problems. I wonder if some of these people just dont have a good working knowledge of power equipment maintenance.

I bought the 55R21HVD mower because my daughter wanted to make money cutting the lawn, and my Honda that I am using again is not self-propelled. The Honda is 18 years old and has only been in the shop for routine maintenance. My daughter was complaining about how hard it was to use the mower. The self-propelled would not disengage when pulling the mower backwards. You have to lift the rear wheels off the ground, engage, and then disengage the drive unit to get the system to release. The knobs fell off; the clipping bag falls off. The wheel height will not stay in place so the deck drops down and scalps the grass. It was still under warranty so I took it 30 miles down the road to get it repaired, and the first time she used it nothing had been fixed. They didnt replace the missing knobs. Since then, the gas leaks someplace; the rear axle height shaft broke so when I welded it, I saw the poor quality of the welds someone had put on. The air filter case is broken; more parts have fallen off the bag, and this is the engine of all the powered equipment I own that I have to prime in the spring to get running. It has an auto choke system that doesnt work as well. The part that really upsets me is that you cannot talk with anyone who makes more than minimum wage. Husqvarna has no customer service. I have never seen anything so poorly designed. Do they want me to buy parts that are guaranteed to fail over and over? This is by far the work money I have ever spent. I wouldnt want it on my conscience if someone got hurt using a product that looks like it is made to fail.

I have observed that the Husqvarna YT46LS has no rubber or plastic on the end of the deck stop. The local dealer has a 2013 model on display and the deck has been scratched down to the bare metal. How much would it cost them to put some kind of cap on the thing?

Husqvarna LC221RH; purchased 7 weeks ago, less than 5 hours use, only used where the rider cant get. The self propel feature stopped working. The only option the company gave me was to drive 120 miles, round trip, to the nearest service center. If they make me leave it and return for pick up another day, that will be 240 miles driving. Issue #2 The front cover gets packed with grass and they couldnt tell me how to get it out. It appears the only way to get it out is to remove four bolts, every time. Its a design flaw for a rear wheel drive mower. They use the same body for an all wheel drive mower and they dont close off the holes in the front for the rear wheel drive mowers. Issue #3 They make trying to do the paperwork for a rebate like getting a root canal. They obviously do not want to honor their rebates, if at all possible. I have done hundreds of rebates, probably more, over the years and I have NEVER dealt with a company that was so difficult. Their website is ineffective. I will NEVER buy this brand again.

Husqvarna Zero Turn Mower 4 years old and garbage. I am currently working on this thing and have since the first day I bought it. Just like some of the vehicles on the road today, there shouldve been a recall on this thing. Hydraulics are terrible due to weight distribution, any small grade going downhill you better get ready to bail, it cannot hold its own weight. Broke the casting on the handle second time using it. Tension pull keeps bending and had to add reinforcements. As for the motor, Briggs and Stratton do not make em like they use to. Kills all the mosquitoes for sure. Bent the push rods. Three other people that I know went and bought the same mower. All four of these machines broke the muffler off. Had to replace the stator. Just all and all I shouldve bought a Grasshopper. Dont waste your money.

DO NOT BUY A HUSQVARNA - I did and I regret it. I am preparing to return my Husqvarna GTH52XLS garden tractor to the dealer for the 3rd time this summer. It started out running very rough, and then would die. When I took it in the second time, for the same problem, during that trip to the dealer I was told that I had an additional problem of the clutch being bad and would be going out. Fortunately this problem, as well as the idler pulley (which was also going out) were still covered under the factory warranty. I picked up the garden tractor yesterday, after it had been in the shop for 24 days, I brought it home and everything seemed to be working fine. I mowed for approximately 1 hour and brought it to the garage to add fuel. After refueling the mower would not start, it fired slowly and then would die. I called the dealer and he told me to bring it in again. Each time I take it to them it costs me $65 to rent a trailer for the round trip. Each time they have the mower they have kept it for at least 18 days. I spend a lot of money on this mower, over $3,400, and I expected a quality piece of equipment, it has been anything but a quality machine. Each dealer in my area, that I have spoken to, has told me that they stopped being a dealer and no longer carry Husqvarna parts. They said that the reason for no longer being a dealer has to with the quality of the machines and the fact that it takes them so long to get replacement parts, they report wait times of 6 weeks and sometimes even longer - they are getting tired of getting complaints from their customers. Although I have approximately 135 hours on the mower and I have had it for about 1 1/2 years, I am going to see what it will take to return it and to get my money back. I realize that I will undoubtedly have little luck with this, I am still going to try.
We bought the weed trimmer at Lowes after comparing many brands and styles.
We bought the weed trimmer at Lowes after comparing many brands and styles. I already owned a Husqvarna leaf blower and have been very pleased. The weed trimmer was light, quiet, and very easy to use. The string feed is a major improvement over other styles offered by other manufacturers. It only takes a light push on the ground to advance the string. It starts easily and has a lot of power for a 2 cycle. I will definitely purchase other power tools from Husqvarna in the future.
I purchased Husqvarna GHT2754 garden tractor 9 years ago from a local deale
I purchased Husqvarna GHT2754 garden tractor 9 years ago from a local dealer. The first year all was well. The second year a pulley bracket broke. Brought the tractor to the dealer for repairs. Was told the tractor was out of warranty so I would have to pay for any repairs. The third year a similar thing happened. Dealer told me he feels the mower deck was under-designed for its size, (54). Would have been nice to know before purchase. Repairs were made. Later that year or possibly the next the deck broke for the third time. Again this was a pulley mount. This time the dealer asked if I would mind if he sent it to a friend who has experience fixing farm equipment. A year passed with no problems but the next year the mower deck front mounting plate broke. I was so frustrated I had a friend fabricate a reinforced part and weld it. Last year the steering stopped working. When disassembled the plastic bearing had failed and wore through the steel mount. Again a new much stronger mount and bearing were fabricated and installed. Yesterday while installing a new drive belt I found the bracket for yet another pulley was cracked to the point it will need to be welded and reinforced as well. Each time I had a failure it cost me time and money to make repairs, hire someone else to cut my grass and even pay to have the dealer pickup the tractor to bring in for repairs. I wish I had kept better records and photos because I think I would be talking to a lawyer regarding this. I should have researched Husqvarna better prior to buying this tractor. I would have been far better off and money ahead, if I had hired a lawn service these past 9 years. My recommendation is to stay away from Husqvarna products unless you enjoy spending your free time rebuilding poorly designed and manufactured products.

In 2012, I purchased a self-propelled Husqvarna 22-inch lawn mower. What attracted me to the product was the 3 year unconditional 2 pull to start warranty. I thought that was unambiguous, but found I was wrong. I used the mower 5 times in 2012, then siphoned the gasoline out of it and ran the carburetor dry before storing it for the winter. In the spring, I put gasoline in the mower, started it up and it ran for only 15 minutes before stalling. It never started again. I called Husqvarna and was treated like the village idiot on the telephone. I was told I would have to pay to have the mower engine and carburetor rebuilt to prove it was under warranty. Seriously? So I took the mower back to Lowes, where I had purchased it, and arranged to have the unit evaluated by Husqvarna. I was forced to sign a contract stating I would pay $85 toward the repairs (forced, as in, you sign this and make this guarantee or we wont even look at the mower). Weeks pass with no word. Then, yesterday, I received a call from the Lowes evaluation team telling me the mower was not covered by warranty for the following reasons: 1) There was gasoline in the carburetor... seriously, they voided the warranty because the carburetor had gasoline in it after the mower would not start. 2) There was evidence the unit had been used because the oil had not been changed. In other words, my used lawn mower with only a year on its unconditional warranty was not covered by that warranty because it was used. Sorry, but that sounds like a condition to me. Now they want to charge me 2/3 of the cost of the original purchase to repair the carburetor, an integral part of the starting system, which is not allowing the mower to start but somehow this is not covered by the unconditional warranty. This company is a cheat. They lie, they overcharge for shoddy equipment which does not live up to even the most basic of use, and they refuse to cooperate with or support their customers. Oh, and the $85 pre-repair fee? They now call that an evaluation fee even though the repair contract doesnt say squat about evaluation fees and it is now up to me to fight my credit card company to cancel that fee. Talk about adding insult to injury. Conclusion: Do not, under any circumstances, buy a Husqvarna anything! If you do, assume the warranty is useless and that it will fail within a year.

I was looking for a Chainsaw for my Wife. I choose Husqvarna. I found a 240 series 38.2 2 stroke motor. It was light, looked to be user friendly and really nice to look at. Before trying to start it I read the manual, gassed and oiled it up. I went to pull start it and it acted like the motor was locked up. I checked the chain break and it was off. We had a family emergency and I was not able to look at it for several weeks. I tried again to start it and it was so hard to pull. I then called the company called Innovations and told them my problem. They looked me up in their computer and found me. They did at that time let me know that it was not under warranty! I have only owned it for a few months I said, she told it has a 90 day warranty! I missed it on the paperwork that was sent with the saw. I then was stuck either taking it to the shop in Town or work on it myself. First thing on this saw I noticed three adjustment holes on the left side of the plastic cover. Husqvarna told me that the carb cannot be adjusted by the consumer and that I need a special tool that refuse to sell me! I then learned that it can be adjusted with a Bic pen with the ink inners removed. Armed with my pen and tearing this thing apart so I can get it freed up I finally got this thing to run and idle! This saw just ran rough and when I turned it off it was back to hard to pull! After working on freeing this thing up again, I got it to start and run. Well it stopped on its own and would not restart! After troubled shooting this thing again, I found a fouled Champion plug! I drove over to John Deere to buy a new plug. After I bought and paid for the plug I walked over to the saws. I found a Sthil saw on sale for almost the same price as the Husqvarna. So I bought it! The sales person that I have dealt with for years stated that that Husqvarna is not a Husqvarna, its a Sears Chainsaw!... Huh? I would if been better to buy one at Harbor Freight! This my experience with the Husqvarna 240 38.2 14 inch bar saw. The only thing I can say is if I would of known what I found out the hard way I would say to anyone that comes in contact with this saw is... RUN FORREST RUN!

Always garage kept and maintained. All this within 8 years and $8000 invested in two Husqvarna Y48 riding mowers. The first mower after couple hours of use wouldnt start. The steering has become loose with play, can turn steering 1/4 turn before engaging wheels - no fix. Replaced all deck wheels and front roller - twice. Front bracket and main bracket for rear axle broke after 4 years. Seat material split open. Difficult to maintain good and level cut with deck. On many occasions, I had blades fall off due to spindle bolts loosening up and falling out. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. IM BUYING A JOHN DEERE X700 SERIES NEXT.

The thin bar one pulls up to engage the blade broke the first time my husband used the mower. The dealer ordered a new part, which took over a week to arrive. Within 20 minutes of me using the mower, the part broke again. Were taking it back to the dealer and hoping for a refund.

Purchased the 336fr brush cutter for $569. Used it one time for 30 minutes and engine suddenly locked up. Repair tech told me that though there is a proper fuel mixture in tank, he sees none inside. As a result, Husqvarna refuses to honor the warranty. I guess somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine the oil disappeared?! Actually, company is accusing me of running it without oil and then adding oil to fuel tank to cover up my mistake... Incredible!! I would not recommend this company to anyone... Hoping no one else out there with same experience.

Already had to replace parts on mower section and the belt twice in 2 years. For the money, should perform better. I believe purchased at Lowes in Norwalk.

DONT BUY THIS MOWER!!!! Poor design. Put blades to close to roof of the deck and grass sticks and builds. While it compresses it hardens... It does not throw the grass out from under the deck! We bought one last summer and the grass sticks to the underside ceiling of the mowing deck, causing serious damage to the bearings and belt. Now I have to jack it up. Get underneath, take a ridged 3 putty knife after every other use and chisel out hardened (Concrete like) grass clippings. It is not an easy chore for anybody to do. You should not have to do this every 2 weeks after spending 3 grand on a mower.

On May 2nd, 2012, I bought a Farm Tough chainsaw from Tractor Supply, which I paid $399 for. I needed a 20 saw for some of the bigger trees that fell during tropical storm Irene. I have a 16 Poulan, and an 18 Homelite. I have owned chainsaws my whole life. I figured I would pay extra for a top of the line product. Boy, was I wrong! It ran great when I first used it, and I babied that saw like no others because it was so expensive. I was really impressed with it. Then, on the sixth time, I was using it right at the beginning of Hurricane Sandy when a tree fell across the street. While cutting it out of the way, the chain popped and a ping sound came from around the recoil/brake area. After I put the chain back on, it felt funny when I tried to start it so I bought it to the Husqvarna Authorized service center Curtis Feed & Farm Supply located at 3454 County Route, 74 Greenwich, NY 12834 (518-692-8529). They took it in on Tuesday and were finished with it on Friday. But to my amazement, they handed me a $33.12 bill claiming that a defective hand guard isnt covered under warranty. He couldnt give me a reason why it broke, got misuse or so forth. So, I paid for a top of the line chainsaw worth $400 and every sixth time of using it, it would cost me $33? Really? I could have bought two Craftsman 20 saws for the same money!I took it back to Tractor Supply which was on the way home from the service center, not expecting them to take it back and refund my money - but they did even though I bought it back in May! So A+ to Tractor Supply, and a big F to Husqvarna and their authorized service center. Their brand will be forever junk to me and anybody whoever asks me!

My Dad and I bought this YTH2454 mower new and used it for only a short time before problems started. The front axle is bogus. It starts to lean backwards and then the front wheels start facing out. We took it to a service center and Husqvarna told them it was an operator error? When this happens the wheels will fall off. I took it to a friend and we welded brackets to the frame so there is no way for it to lean back which fixed this problem. The hydrostatic transmission went out which I replaced. The deck hangers keep falling off. I am in the process now of engineering a new deck hanging system instead of the brackets that slip into a hole. This hole keeps wearing out which in turn lets the bracket fall out and the deck drop on the ground. I have had the holes welded up and drilled out several times. The electric clutch for the blades went out. I have had to replace the steering column. My small engine repair man says the reason Husqvarna will not fix these problems, is that they are in the parts selling business. He said every one of these machines that comes into his shop has the same problems!!! I will never own another Husqvarna product and would advise everyone else to do the same!!!

The AWD walk behind lawnmower with a Honda engine we used it 3 times and the skirt at the back is tearing away, Husqvarna will not cover under the warranty but the dealer will cover it at cost. Really disappointed with the company that makes the mowers as I am going to have this problem with a new mower for the rest of its lifetime.

Bought a new Husqvarna riding mower for $1800 from our Sears Hometown Store, Foley, AL. The engine developed a problem at 10 hours. Went to Sears store, they set up an appointment and had to wait 2 plus weeks. 5 minutes before the appointment the Sears rep called me and asked if the mower was orange. Said yes he would not work on it. Store manager said he would take care of it and would call which he did not do. Went to store and he said I needed to call Husqvarna. Husqvarna referred me to a dealer and the dealer said, Did you buy it here? Since I did not buy it there it will 6 to 8 weeks before he could look at it. Im 76 years old and I now have to push mow my yard, and out $1800.

Ive bought two of these mower (Husqvarna yth24k48) in the past ten years and always had problem from the day I got it. Fuel line went out and the oil line wasnt install properly after 5 year of the newest one. I have the transmission went out on it. Dont buy a Husqvarna. I bought the recent one in 2012. The one had problems since day one.

I purchased a husqvarna self propel lawn mower in may 2015. Cut grass a total of 3 times. It wouldnt crank under warranty. The repair cost me 90 dollars. They said bad gas. I know they lied. We changed gas. I will never buy anything else. Husqvarna never again.

We bought a Husq self-propelled mower. We noticed the front, right wheel was crooked. It looked like the tire was on crooked (later learned it is a complete unit). It worked and so we decided to wait on checking it out. We went into winter, then the mower was in storage thru the summer as we sold one home and rented (mower in storage) till we purchased another home. We moved in the winter and are just now using the mower again. Upon removing the crooked wheel, we learned the hub was crooked and had caused a complete grind-down of 2/3 of the gears. We called Husq and a wonderful rep. helped us find a repair shop. They called Husq and were told the wheel replacement was not covered because we didnt have it checked out right away.We called Husq again and got stone-walled. Called back later and got a wonderful rep that transferred us to the escalation team, who was another stone-waller. Its a $25 wheel. Not the kind of service I ever want to be subjected to again. One or two reps were really helpful and professional. The other two reps acted like it was their own $25 they were protecting. They were not helpful or professional. This attitude/standard clearly comes from senior management. Ive had it with Husq.

The baffle center front screw hole broke and the baffle broke the blade. We bought the tractor pre-assembled from Lowes. Lowes would not repair because it was not in the maintenance agreement. We replaced and it happened again so we left the baffle center front off the blade was bent. I bought blades again and found the end of the shaft assembly mandrel stripped so now I have to repair shaft assembly, Mandrel in order to hold the mower blade. I hate this Tractor mower. I would not recommend this equipment to my enemy. I give no stars because I have had to repair it since we bought the darn thing. I guess I have to give a star to submit. :/

Clutch engage cable broke after 26 hours. Looked at it and it was frayed at both ends and had a clean cut in the middle. Obviously defective, frayed and mounted incorrectly. Got cut clean through by a blade pulley. Took problem to local (sort of, but closest) authorized dealer and they refused warranty for the fact that they tried 7 different ways and the computer would not take it. So I had no other choice but to pay for the cable and replace it myself. But the repair center was so sympathetic that he even expressed that he felt my pain and frustration. That made me feel so much better. Yeh, right. So, I contacted Husqvarna for reimbursement. Husqvarna website form was useless...no response. 1 (800) 487-5951 Husqvarna Group, customer service phone. Called and spent 45 minutes. 1st level agreed with service center immediately so I asked to speak to supervisor. Told that it could not be escalated until I got the reason from the local center. I told them I refused to go back to them for the reason they already gave me and then have to call Husqvarna back, let me speak to a supervisor. So they took all information about tractor and gave me a escalation number, and if I lost it, they could do nothing. Long wait times and finally another operator said they cannot override the local repair center. They would not refund me. They could only send me a replacement (of which I already had!). That is the best I could get, though useless unless it breaks again, though I mounted it correctly.Customer support puts too much on the consumer and customer and anything you do wrong will negate the customer service request. They give you the runaround. Too many level and requirements to get answers or satisfaction, if at all possible. They say, If you lose the number... Lots of reasons and info needed to escalate to simply speak to a supervisor. They say, Need reasons for dealer even though you already got them. They say they cannot override dealer decisions...the dealer has the final decision. Husqvarna gives too much power of decision to local repair centers and dealers and cannot override their decisions. I will never buy another Husqvarna anything ever again, even with the 3 years warranty temptation. As other reviews state, the warranty is of little value or just plain worthless.

I bought my Husqvarna 775 - 1.75cc $499 in 2014 at Lowes and it failed to start after 2 years. I lost my receipt. I went to Lowes and they said I need to change spark plug, drain old gas and put new gas in. I did as they said even spark plug still look good, but still failed to start. I never use a lawn mower as bad as this Husqvarna before, never! My 10+ years old Honda never need to do anything each year after winter. It starts easily. Husqvarna is a bad brand for mower. I dont suggest anyone to buy it.

Bought this blower September 2014. Ran great until Feb 2015. Has been used maybe 12 hours and when I went to start the blower it was locked up. I always use gas without ethanol and Stihl oil. I removed spark plug, tapped the top of the piston lightly with a flat punch and the piston broke free. Replaced the gas and oil and tried to start, to no avail. Removed spark plug and checked the compression. There was none. It evidently has a broken compression ring. I have owned an equipment repair shop for 10 years. I am on my way to the trashcan and donating this blower to it. I am not even going to attempt to deal with their warranty. There will be a new Stihl in my shop tomorrow.

Bought a brand new husqvarna lawn tractor 26 hp 54 inch deck. Right off the bat, this thing has been hard to start. Dealer says nothing is wrong with it. You kill the battery cranking on it, then boost it and crank some more and more till it finally starts. Once youve started and ran it a little, it starts ok until it sits long enough to cool down. Then its back to wearing out the starter again to get it to fire up.

Left front tire came off during cutting, outside bearing was missing and the inside bearing was broken. Had to travel 45 to 50 miles before finding a dealer that could make repairs (stopped at 2 dealers recommended by Husqvarna, no help ). Mower was purchased 1 year ago and has only 43 hours.

I purchased and received a new Husqvarna chainsaw at the end of June. I used it three time cutting fallen trees in my yard. I was using it at the end of August just two months old and it stopped working. I was mid cut when it felt as if the engine seized. I followed all of the manufacturers requirements. I went to Lowes where I purchased it and they do not cover outdoor power equipment if it has been used. They said the manufacturers warranty was good for three months. They sent it to what they I understood to be Husqvarna but it was a repair vendor for them in conjunction with Lowes. They called and said it was an internal part some type of coolant air conductor which was broken and would not be covered. They also said the carb was dirty. I questioned the warranty and even though it was an internal issue, it was not covered. They said they would fix it for a total of $98.14. I told them to send it back. They billed the machine as being covered under warranty but it isnt.

Had had mower one year and been to shop twice to level deck’ deck is the heavy constructed deck and scalps yard. Is there a fix? Measured blades to a flat surface and they are same distances. The problem seems to be the deck does not flex. Mower handle great with auto locking differential but ready to burn it because the way it scalps.

This riding mower is one of the Top-of-the-line Hydro mowers Husqvarna sells. 54 inch cut. The front wheels keep falling off and presenting a very dangerous situations. The spring clips that hold the washers and wheel on just destroy themselves with no warning even after keeping the entire environment well lubricated, above and beyond what is required. I have over 30 years’ experience maintaining my mowers, mostly riding mowers. This is a factory defect in manufacturing and Husqvarna needs to provide free replacement of defective parts. If not, I will never buy another Husqvarna product (I have a fair amount) and will make sure everyone I communicate with will know my recommendation. I will let you know what I find. Consumers beware!

I purchased my 46 riding Husqvarna mower a little over 3 years ago. At 2 years the bushing in the front right tire went out and the wheel just flopped all over the place, I took it in to be fixed. One year later now that is a little over three years and the warranty is up I am having the same problem with the same wheel and there are squeaks and noises all in the mower and this time the front wheel completely fell off. I have owned several riding mowers and have always bought them used, this is the first one I bought brand new. The used mowers never had any problems with, this Husqvarna is worst mower I ever bought! I do not recommend this brand at all! And when you call customer service you speak to someone in a foreign country that acts like they do not understand one thing you are saying, all they keep saying is they are sorry!

Bought My Husqvarna Lawn Tractor New in 2013 this past summer 2019. The rear axle folded up to the bottom of the transmission. There was no big noise, the tractor just stop moving forward or backward. Noticed cracks around the housing where the U bolts hold the axle to the frame. The metal used to hold the axle to the farm is very lite weight allowing it to crack and give way. The drive belt disengaged. I contacted Husqvarna as did the Dealer I used to fix the Tractor, they were no Help.

I purchased a Husqvarna 775L. After ten times using the mower, it would not start. I called Husqvarna and they gave me two contacts to look at the mower. I contacted both parties and neither one of them renewed their contract with Husqvarna because Husqvarna does not stand behind their product. Neither does Lowes. I made several phone calls to Lowes and they basically said too bad, nothing we can do. But they still sell the poor product. Husqvarna does not stand behind their warranty. They like to use the excuse of bad gas or if it is not a manufacturer defect then they wont cover it. Now, keep in mind, my motor is actually made by Briggs & Stratton so I called them as well. The bottom line is that my issue was a bad carburetor caused by bad gas. I have seen and read several complaints about the same problem. I loaded up my mower and had to drive an hour to a repair shop that is covered under Husqvarnas warranty. It cost me $130 to have a new carburetor installed due to bad gas, the person I pay to mow my lawn every week, $40, the time spent on the phone receiving pathetic customer service from Lowes and Husqvarna and the gas I used hauling my POS Husqvarna mower to different places to see who could fix it.These products are not worth the time or money and as for Lowes, I havent stepped a foot back in one of their stores. Menards has become my favorite place to shop now. DO NOT BUY HUSQVARNA PRODUCTS. THEY ARE A PIECE OF JUNK!!!! By the way, anyone want to buy a mower? I will give you a good deal and sell you mine. I am off to Menards to spend more money with them. Too bad Lowes, you need to work on your poor customer service practices.

I researched all brands and bought this one even though I was skeptical after seeing the tractor in person. It was a plastic piece of junk. It scalped the grass even though the deck was leveled at the dealer twice. Uneven cut and forget about going around a corner on a slight angle. One side was cut down to the dirt while the other side was 3 inches high.I tried everything and still good. Putting the deck lift handle on the left side is ok if you are left handed but It was impossible to raise while moving with my not dominate left hand. No power steering was another mistake that I made. I actually sprained my wrist trying to make a close turn and I am 6ft. 230 lbs. I paid for the mulching kit but it threw so much grass up over the top of the tractor I had to take off the mulching plus and use it with no diffuser. The dealer was very co-operative but after having the tractor for only 3 days I paid a 10% restocking fee and that along with losing the sales tax cost me nearly $600.00. I called Husqvarna and got no return call. I bought a Cub Cadet and paid more but it is a world of difference better.

Every time I mow, the deck clogs up with grass. Have to scrape with putty knife. Deck does not discharge properly. Also blades wear out after just 40 hrs of mowing. Been thru second set of blades with just 80 hrs, going to try the gator blades... Purchased RZ5424 in spring of 2013. 1 lug nut has fallen off, knob to adjust right, steering fell off, leaves strip of uncut grass (tried adjusting deck). Not a good mower in my opinion... Wish I would have purchased a more well known trusted name, brand zero turn mower. Might have cost a little more but I dont think this mower is going to last. For $3000 you would think so... Is there any company that makes anything worth a damn anymore???? Pretty damn sad!!!!!

I bought a Brand New what was supposed to be a 2018 but turned out it was a 2017! In April of 2018 I have had to replace everything above the deck at least once due to failure of components! Also I have had to change the blades at least 4 times! Leepers is where I was screwed at, and after fixing it again this last time, I found the deck was cracked at the weld of the back bracket! So I took it to an authorized warranty dealer. They called me and told me Husqvarna will not service my warranty! I paid $3000 for a mower that’s a $$$ pit! I WILL NEVER SHOP FOR HUSQVARNA EVER AGAIN, NOR DO I ADVISE ANYONE OF BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS!

I bought a lawn mower, an xt-6 weed eater and a chainsaw from Husqvarna because I was told by the salesman Their really great, Ive never had a complaint one. Well he lied because all 3 of them are complete and total junk!!! I wasted every penny that I spent on these items. Theyre all 2 years old and have less than 4 hours on them. Because they NEVER run properly. The lawn mower has to be worked on to start, then it breaks down at least once per yard. Its on its second motor (that cost almost as much as the mower did!) The chainsaw wont run long enough to cut 1 small tree down (I had to borrow my dads craftsman!) and the weed eater keeps coming apart at the motor to shaft connection. NEVER BUY A HUSQVARNA ANYTHING OR YOULL REGRET IT!!

I purchased a new Husqvarna saw from Lowes and use it twice. On second, the use of the engine seized mechanically. I contacted Lowes for repair. The service advisor tried to say I used too much oil in the gas mix and caused the failure. As a mechanic for over 30 years, I informed him that a rich seize was not possible. Foul the plug, maybe, excess smoke, probably, seizing; no way! Authorized to take to local service center. I was informed that the saw was three years old and out of warranty. Produced my (6-month-old) receipt as proof of date. After several weeks of wrangling on the part of the service center, I was authorized to do repair. I found that the wrist pin clip had fallen out and allowed the wrist pin to become lodged under the cylinder. Okay, problem identified and repaired. I was informed by repair center that the carburetor should be replaced for $175, thanks. I got the saw back and sold it on e-bay for 50 cents on the dollar. I went to real chain saw dealer, bought it and it works awesome; 30 cords in and no problems. Never again for Lowes or Husky!I lost $200 and got way too much aggravation.

RZ4621 Zero Turn Mower - I have one season on a brand new machine. 3 clutches, 3 belts, two tension springs, one pulley and one pulley pedestal and I still cannot keep the belt on. The dealer and Husqvarna do not recognize that there is a problem. One thing I do know and that is I am becoming a very experienced Husqvarna mechanic. I purchased this unit because I have weed trimmers, chainsaw and a Husqvarna rototiller that have all been very good. I thought their mowers would be no different. Yesterday I went and purchased a new Deere zero turn mower to replace this one as I am sick and tired of fighting with this one. The Deere has to be better. It cant be any worse.

I currently own a Husqvarna hedge cutter and at age 67 I have tried many other name brand hedge cutters, but I find Husqvarna to be worthy of my usage as its easy to operate, and have not had any downtime. I am looking for a riding lawnmower and will be considering a Husqvarna as Im quite sure it will be as dependable as my hedge cutter.

Not going to write a long and very boring POOR ME letter here. I owned a Husqvarna zero turn mower for over 11 years. I decided it was time to buy a new one. BIG mistake. I paid $3.500 and it arrived with a broken deck. But since they took away my brand new zero turn mower, they will not tell me when I can have it back. It seems that after two weeks they might consider just giving me a new one since that is what I paid for. I have tried and tried and tried to go through channels but they are 100% useless. I will leave you with one message: DO NOT BUY a Husqvarna Zero Turn mower. You will (for sure) regret it right away.

I purchased a GTH26V52LS garden tractor from a dealer on 8/18/11. I paid extra for fabricated deck and was told it had a lifetime warranty. Not so! It seems the deck is covered but not the spindles!! I have had them replaced 3 times so far! I called the manufacturer and was told spindles had a 30-DAY warranty! I feel this is misleading and had I known this before purchasing, I would have 2nd thoughts! I now have to mow 2 swipes across the yard, stop and rake grass away from the blades. I am an elderly person who paid extra for dependability!!

Lawnmower 775BBC 21 rear-drive purchased 10/13. Ran great out of the box. Second mowing this spring, the blade-drive brake spring broke; visible inclusion at break. Disassembled and found out just how shoddy this thing is built. Everything under the deck is exceptionally cheap and lightweight. Nice paint-job, though. Repaired spring. Chief complaint has to do with design. You show this wonderful machine a picture of damp grass and it completely plugs. Have to hose it out, tons of chewed-up grass, big mess. Tilt it on its side to do so and it will not restart; wait an hour. In 3-4 of damp (not by any means wet) grass, it plugs in about 15 minutes. This is using the side chute, dont know how the bagger works. Deck washdown feature is utterly useless. The rear-drive differential consistently locks up when pulling backwards. Oh and the chute falls off at the slightest provocation. When I was a kid, Husqvarna was one of the names any self-respecting dirtbiker lusted after. I dont know if their other products suffer from the same globalization disease and I will not be finding out. Four hundred bucks shot on a piece of equipment that will not do what it was supposedly designed for. This aint rocket science, folks.

Ever since Ive had this Husqvarna 55C21HV mower the left rear wheel has failed to drive more often than not. Dealer failed to fix problem so being a field engineer for over 40 years I took it upon myself to clean and deburr the pawl assy and all associated parts. This helped slightly. I then e-mailed the USA distributor and never got a response. The only good thing in this mower is the Honda engine which runs flawlessly like all the other Honda engines I have had.
I bought this Husqvarna LTD2243 ride on mower brand new from the local deal
I bought this Husqvarna LTD2243 ride on mower brand new from the local dealer. It had a few hiccups at the start. The solenoid that opens to allow the fuel to flow into the carby was defective. It was replaced with a new part obtained from the dealer. It then started much better when needed. The engine, a two cylinder B & S works perfectly with heaps of power. The worst part is that the steering is atrocious in the N degree. The steering assembly has no way to adjust the toe in or toe out. The only way to fix the steering is to take the mower to the dealer and have new parts fitted. I was told that the problem occurs from running into rocks, logs, posts or trees. Apparently, hitting things bends some mysterious part that only the dealer can repair by replacing most of the steering suspension assembly. It all came to halt when the steering was so pathetic that when one wheel was aligned in a straightforward position, the opposite wheel was turned out 3 INCHES! Steering was impossible. The mower was also four months out of warranty. I parked the mower in the garage and studied the situation for a long time. There is no tie-rod joining the king-pins and any adjustment was impossible. The king-pins could not be altered in any way at all. The steering is performed by two rods that are fastened to the king-pins and a quadrant plate. It is impossible to remove these rods without removing most of the assembly underneath the steering column. This in itself is a pain of a job. After studying the bars for sometime I cut them in half with an angle grinder using a 1mm wide cut-off disc. The front half, about ten inches long, was then removed from the king-pins. These bars are made from .625 inch diameter steel (16 mm dia.) I cut two pieces of 30 mm dia steel, 75 mm long. A 5/8 dia hole was drilled thru the steel but offset 5 mm to form a thicker section to fit two set screws into the ends. The steering bars were reassembled with the new sleeves, the wheels set up with 5 mm toe-in to check for working and alignment. I set off with the mower and the steering was not just perfect, it was better than when it was brand new. For some reason I have yet to discover, I had to cut an extra 22 mm off one of the bars. Through all this trauma, one wheel rim had split and was replaced under warranty. I read that the rims will split when the toe-in is grossly out of alignment. I have to fit two front new tires as they no longer have enough tread and are very vulnerable to being punctured. The steering can now be adjusted very easily if required but it still has problems on full lock. It works to my full satisfaction but I was only able to modify the steering rods because I have a metal lathe in my garage. I am a Toolmaker/Machinist by trade and I am a top grade mechanical grade engineer with many years of experience both in Australia and the US. This is one machine I highly recommend NOT to buy! It also has great difficulty in cutting long grass more than four inches high. Long grass needs to cut by reversing two or three times over the same strip to get the grass down to size. The cutting deck is fabricated and is very strong but it rattles and bangs non-stop. I have yet to find a way to stop this happening. In short, have nothing to do with this mower!

Do not ever buy a push mower from Husqvarna. 1st pull of string or last eventually the metal cover for shaft will break literally in half putting you or something in danger of being hit by 1/4 in steel and a good size chunk of it! Took it to certified lawn mower repair man. He said its common in these and almost everyone WILL do it eventually, so got it repaired. Found an old push mower for my small, flat yard and havent had a problem - got it free or Id burn down their factory! So Ill make $ selling to some idiot.

Model YTH2454 riding mower. One month and one week after warranty is done the mower decides it wants to have the rear axle separate (break) away from the rest of the mower and roll down my driveway unstoppable. I could have died that day. Called them about it and they say I need to call an authorized dealer to have it looked at to see if it can be fixed at my cost. They also say there is no recall and that there is no problem of their fault because the warranty has run out.

I purchased a LGT2654 in 2007 for about $3300, after the second cut tractor would not pull. I called Lowe’s and was told to take it in for repair. They found bad transaxle and it was replaced. It now has the same problem. Again, I was told I need a new transaxle and it will cost $1125 to repair. I would not buy any lawn equipment from Lowe’s or Husqvarna.

Last year, it started... (what looks like oil leaking out of the exhaust-muffler) and it had dripped onto my concrete floor. It had smoked at times when engaging the blades - when the load was put on the engine. I called Lowes Advantage and filed a work order. They had a company that they use in Virginia to check it out. When I got it back, I read the work order and what was done. They did a service tune up on it. They changed the spark plugs, changed the oil and filter, and changed the air filter. Their paperwork and one of their employees said that they also sharpened the blades and detailed (cleaned up the mower). But, they didnt sharpen the blades or detail (clean the mower). The blades hadnt been sharpened and there was still oil residue on the muffler and chassis area. They said that I would have to pay for it. I called the Lowes manager and complained. I clearly said that I dont think its been fixed, that there seems to be an engine problem with the rings or the block. He said he would make a note of it and I didnt have to pay anything. Well, I didnt know what to do. What could I do?... Last week I mowed with it for about the fifth time since I had this done... Still the same oil looking leak as before. Yep, I think Ive been right the whole time, wasnt fixed... I just called 7-31-14 to complain again to Lowes Advantage. Theyre setting up someone to check it out again. I dont know if its the same company or not. I asked the person filing the phone complaint if theyve had similar complaints and she said yes. By the way, I bought two Husqvarnas at the same time from Lowes. And I bought extended warranties with each. The other one has been used the most though. But, now its starting to drip too. And all of the riding mowers that Ive bought new came from Lowes. An 18 HP 42 Murray Yard Machines MTD back in 1997. It was still mowing fine when I bought a 24 HP 50 Cub Cadet in 2004. Both were still mowing/running fine, but I sold them when I bought the two new Husqvarnas in 2012. Both have the Kohler Engines. Both 26 HP 54 cut...Since I bought them, Ive noticed that theyre putting Briggs Engines on them now... Have they had problems with the Kohler Engines? I paid good money for each... $2200.00-ish for the standard style riding mower and $2600.00-ish for the zero turn style riding mower... plus the warranties for each... And, when I first complained, I went to the Lowes store in person. No one really wanted to help me or they couldnt. They said that I would have to call the phone number on the mower... Well, it was the Lowes Advantage number. Couldnt they have helped me in the store, or called for me, or set up my complaint there in the store? I dont want to get stuck with a high dollar mower that isnt going to give me the service that I paid for... Sorry. Thanks, please advise... Im not going to check the attorney box below for me to be contacted yet. I will see if we can make this right first... Please help.

I bought a Zero turn Husqvarna Z246 mower, had it 33 days, 6.3 hrs on the hour meter and the transmission went out on both sides. Called customer service and was told to take it back to Lowes and they would replace it with a new one. So I returned it back and the store manager asked if I had a return authorization number and I said she didnt give me one. So he calls Husqvarna customer service and was told that since it was 3 days past the 30 day return they would not authorize the exchange. So I spoke to the woman on the phone and she would not authorize it because it was past the 30 days even just by 3 days. So I asked to speak with someone above her and she said it would be a waste of my time because they would say the same and would not authorize the exchange either. So I asked for her name and employee number and she would not give me her first name and stated that employees are not given employee numbers - like I believe that. So I left with a new broken mower. I will never buy another Husqvarna product ever.

I purchased this mower in May and in October it stopped working. it had been pretty solid until then with the one exception that the self propelled drive belt kept coming off and I had to remove the pulley and re-thread the belt each time. After it failed in October (wouldnt start) I took it in for service and they told me the oil was low and the motor had burned up. I had checked a few times over the Summer but had not been checking religiously with each use. After considering it a bit I think I know what happened. I had to tip the mower each time I fixed the belt and Im guessing the last time oil must have leaked out the air filter or into the cylinder. It never occurred to me to check the oil again after putting the belt back into the pulley. Long story short the warranty tech looked at it and said its user error for running the unit low on oil so its a total loss. Kiss that 400 bucks goodbye. I can see their argument but Im pretty unhappy that tipping the mower to fix the belt that kept jumping off resulted in trashing the motor. Anyway, Im off Husqvarna for life. I replaced it with a Toro and Im getting ready to buy a snowblower - a Craftsman.

I purchased a new Husqvarna mower RZ 4216 on Aug. 19, 2011. It had been started before I purchased it and the belt had shredded. It was the last of the model available so I accepted it with the understanding the belt would be at my expense but the warranty would cover the installation. I took it directly for repairs, and got it back in a couple of weeks. Total cost was $140 to me. I mowed 1/2 of my yard and the belt broke again. Authorized repair facility said I should call Husqvarna. Husqvarna said the repair place must call them direct. I have now owned the mower for one month. I have used it a total of an hour. It has been another week waiting repairs. I anxiously await the cost of the repairs to me this time and the use of the mower.

At one and half years old, the mower began to lose the drive belt off of the pulleys. I purchased a new belt thinking that was the problem and began to install them. During this I discovered that the two bolts holding the front of the transaxle were missing. On inspection I discovered that they had stripped the threads in the transaxle. Looking closer I found that the frame mount brackets were breaking. One of the missing bolts was found on the deck. With the mechanical experience I have after looking at the 2 bolts, they are not long enough to handle the pressure placed on them during operation. They only go into the transaxle about a 1/4 inch. I checked the cost of the repairs and it was more than I wanted to spend on this mower. I decide to attempt repairs myself and was able to make new axle mounts that i bolted to each side of the mower frame. I looked at the transaxle schematic and discovered that I could remove the 2 bolts on top and drill from the bottom of the axle out through the bolt holes on top. This allowed me to install two four inch log bolts through the axle and the frame to secure it with lock nuts. This has worked for 2 years now. I was lucky that I repaired this issue for $20.00 and my labor. Now the steering system has failed. I have had issues with the steering drag links bending and allowing the tires to spread in the front making hard to steer. I have had to straighten them every year of use. This is all poor design issues.

I bought my RZ4623 on 3-12-12 and my first invoice for warranty work was 6-21-12. While cutting a flat space of grass the deck began to shake violently. I raised the deck and again engaged the blades and it didnt shake as bad but the blade on the right side would not turn. Upon inspecting it closer I noticed that the pulleys are PLASTIC?!? And the bolt and shaft that hold the pulley to the blade housing is METAL? During normal use any mower deck gets a rough ride and it is just a matter of time before metal chews up plastic in such a rough place. I took it in for service and was without a mower for the better part of the summer. Last year was ok. Now this year I was cutting my grass and the same exact thing has happened with the same exact pulley on the right side. I see some people have said the belt comes off and Im guessing the bind and pressure puts extra force on that right side and either the belt comes loose or that metal shaft wears out the plastic on that side. $2600 from Lowes for this piece of crap and 2 out of 3 summers it will be spent inoperable. Lowes passes the buck to Husqvarna and Husqvarna wants me to take it to a service center and fix it. I dont want it fixed, I want a different mower. This is the last full summer of my warranty coverage and I already know this pulley WILL fail again. It already has done the same exact thing twice, why do I want the same LEMON back to break down again next summer to the tune of a $200 repair? There is a definite design flaw on this mower, a manufacturer defect, a LEMON is what it is. But you can forget a recall being issued. There is too much money spent to recall it. They would rather settle their issues one at the time even if it comes to a lawsuit which mine may come to because $2600 for a mower that wont mow 2 out of 3 summers is absolutely unacceptable!

I have it this commercial grade mower for over 10 years and have cussed it constantly!!! I paid cash and it wasn’t cheap but can never get any help with it! The rod that controls the laterals breaks about every 3rd cut of my yard!!!! When I bought it they said there was a recall so I took it in! Well needless to say for 10 years I’ve been fixing this POS! Would not buy a Husqvarna period. Am gonna fix this one for the last time and sell it!!! Will be someone else’s problem. The bad thing is it has left me hung up in very dangerous positions! It is now sitting in my front yard on a very steep incline! Will never buy a Husqvarna and always ruins my day!!!!

I tried to buy a replacement cover for my lawn tractor grass catcher directly from Husqvarna. Was politely told there is no replacement part available even though I have the cover part number. For $400.00 I was informed I can buy a whole new grass catcher accessory. Love their equipment but this situation is disappointing.

Just returned for the second time with my 5-month-old Husqvarna AWD push mower. The drive belt keeps coming off. They put it in the shop the first time and charged me $88 claiming abuse (bull). I took it back today wanting a replacement or a refund. I took home, I can fix it myself, but it is a royal pain to have to do this on a regular basis. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Husqvarna Model GTH2448T. 24hp 48 cut. 173 hours. Garaged and serviced annually. Mower will move forward on level ground, but slows to a stop on inclines. No warranty. Service center recommends new rear end. $800.00 repair. Worthless!

You name it. Tractor wont start with new battery. Wont stay running for more than half hour. Manufacturer says dont start off a vehicle but had no choice - only way to mow grass. Their website is useless and not surprised they get such a low consumer satisfaction rate. Dont buy Husqvarna.

I bought a 46 inch/24 hp lawn tractor and also purchased the three year extended comprehensive warranty. The rep told me that with the extended warranty I was almost guaranteed to have no maintenance expenses. I have found out the emphasis should have been on the word almost. In less than 1 year the machine broke down (i.e. carburetor and other parts went bad, etc.). To their credit, the service Husqvarna used did pick up the machine without charge, but that is the only positive aspect of this experience. I was told it would take more than 2 weeks before they could even look at the machine (and of course it was spring-time and the 3 acres of grass was not in a cooperative mood). After nearly a week, the rep called to tell me all that was wrong with this nearly brand new machine and was sad to inform me that nothing was covered under the extended warranty (big surprise). More than 2 weeks later and out more than $500 for repairs, I was livid. I wrote a detailed letter to Lowes, where I bought the machine and to Husqvarna. In that letter I cited provisions in the extended warranty where I was sure the repairs were covered and asked that someone contact me to set up an arbitration hearing, as set forth in the maintenance agreement. It has been more than three months now and I have not heard from either Lowes or Husqvarna. Both companies obviously have two customer service standards - pre-sale they are all smiles and supportive, post-sale they want nothing to do with customers. I spend a lot of money annually at Lowes and I will never shop that store again. I also will never purchase Husqvarna products again.
The mower was bought 6/5/17 and has given me starting problems plus grayish
The mower was bought 6/5/17 and has given me starting problems plus grayish smoke last 2 times I used it. Yesterday while cutting grass it began blowing smoke like it was on fire! My wife spent over 2 hours on the phone waiting on customer service finally talking to a rep who took forever to tell her to take it back to Lowe’s. She was directed to call the local store and arrange for them to come out and fix the problem. However, when she called the local customer service she was told they wouldnt send anyone out but they would pick it up for a fee. She asked if we could bring it instead. They said yes, but before closing. Therefore, we borrowed a truck to take it back to the Knoxville Lowe’s, 210 N. Peters Rd. 37923. It was over 25 miles one way. When we got there and unloaded it they took it into the store. My wife went in to get papers saying we delivered it as instructed. She was then told we would have to take it to another place. She told them we were instructed to bring it there and was not interested and now moving it to another location. She was then told she would have to sign a paper stating we would be responsible to pay them up to $300.00 for resolving the problem. Less than 3 months old with a 1 year warranty and now Lowe’s is trying to Stick us with a bill for what they told us to do with no mention on the phone by either reps about any fees. Was this a bait and switch like scam? I believe it was! My wife told the original rep we wanted our money back and he told her to take have it picked up. The second rep looked the first rep’s information and then demanded my wife sign the paper described above. My wife came out to the truck and informed me of the changes they demanded, either take to Anderson Site or sign the note saying we would pay them. I told her to get in truck and we left. We were supposed to get our money back and then switched to paying for them to check it out. RIDICULOUS!!! All we want is our money refunded or another brand new mower like the original one, but not a LEMON! Invoice ** for $1375.57. Transaction #** on 6/5/17.

I use my lawn tractor for a multitude of tasks but it is very difficult to shift between summer and winter chores. Would be much better if it had quick releases and the process of changing mower blades could be done without high capacity lifting equipment. The mower cuts unevenly and is easily bogged down. The towing connection is made of cheap metal and is easily distorted. Lots of cheap parts and headlights burned out after just a couple of months.

While greasing bearings I spotted a welded piece on spindle was broke loose. In looking at my parts booklet I noticed that a washer was missing thus causing friction, breaking weld. Offered to take spindle to dealer to see. (3 min job) Dealer wanted entire mower or they would not honor warranty (2 different dealers). Finally went online roughly $50. Bought parts. Will not buy Husqvarna products again. This was factory or dealer defect. Be prepared to haul entire mower to dealer. Every time. Warranty no good.

I have replaced the deck belt 4 times in 2 years of owning this machine. It randomly twists itself over then shreds itself. I have paid a service person each time to replace the belt. I don’t have time to spend making repairs myself. I bought this machine from Lowes based on the good reviews at that time. I am very disappointed with the machine at this time and will probably not buy this brand again!

May 27th 2013, I had purchased a brand new Husqvarna yth2348 riding mower the hour meter just turned 49 hrs yesterday on May 26 2014 as I was mowing my lawn for the 2nd time this year, as I was tuning a corner I heard a weird noise. I looked down at the mower and seen 3/4 of the mower deck hanging out of the passenger side of the mower. I put the parking brake on went to step down and the belt flew off and waked me in the left ankle making the side of my foot go numb shut the mower down and found that the welds holding the brackets on the mower deck broke right off, as a welder/mechanic by trade of 30 yrs. There were welds that didnt take the welds were rusted 3/4 percent only leaving maybe a 1/16 of an inch holding the brackets to the deck. Went to the hospital for my foot which I can no longer feel my big toe and the side of my foot, Dr. says possible nerve damage. I called sears and Husqvarna and explained to them what had happened. I do have a witness that seen this happen. I will say I will never buy another Husqvarna product as they have cheapened their products, no quality control cheap porous welds. I am now getting the atty. gen and my own atty involved. Buyers Beware.

I just finished my third mowing season with a 54 inch Husqvarna lawn tractor purchased from a dealer not a big box store. Mine has the kawasaki 26 HP engine which works fine, no issues. My problem started when I noticed the brackets that are welded to the deck were starting to tear off. I guess the weight of the deck is quite heavy for these under-engineered brackets. My old 42 craftsman lasted 5 seasons before I sold it for $500 to get this one. The brackets on that one lasted almost to end, I did weld those. We modified the Husqvarna bracket with additional supports to help with the weight. I did not call dealer after reading about all the negative feedback about the company, I just took care of it myself.
I recently purchased a Husqvarna self-propelled mower from the local dealer
I recently purchased a Husqvarna self-propelled mower from the local dealer. I could have gone to Lowes and gotten a slightly lower price, but why not? I thought I would get better service all around from a certified dealer. Boy, was I wrong. I brought the mower home and first off, it is way too heavy for a 70 year old man. The drive is jerky. The mower gets stopped by any irregularity in the yard. I end up raising the back and moving the wheels so it can get traction. What a pain. Well, after talking with the dealer I purchased from and an hour-long talk with Husqvarna customer service, bottom line is I cant trade it for another more appropriate model. I am stuck with this piece of junk. I should have gone to Lowes. I could have taken it back and left with something that worked. This is my sixth Husqvarna product and my last.

This mower never starts after storage. Ive tried to get assistance from Husqvarna but they are out to lunch. Ive had over 14 mowers and this is the first one with this problem. Ive used the mower less than 6 hours, terrible product. It is the LC 121 with B&S 163cc engine.

We have had nothing but trouble with the front axle on our Husqvarna lawn tractor. The dealer we purchased it from wont do anything because Husqvarna wont do anything. Husqvarna keeps saying it is something weve done, not their product. They said they had never had any other complaints. Definitely not true, complaints are everywhere about them.

All in all the RZ4621 has been a decent mower. I am writing this to maybe save someone else who has purchased this mower, some time. I was going through problems with my deck belt coming off continuously. I could not find a single review that helped solve my problem. Every time I would go out to mow, I would engage the blades only to have the belt fly off. I would re-install, try to engage again and the same thing. Sometimes it would take as many as 12 times until it would hold and I could mow. Now mind you this happened every single time I would go out to mow. Once it would stay, I could shut it off and start it again that day, but sure as Im writing this review, I would have to do the same thing the very next week in order to mow again. I tried everything from all the reviews and complaints that I would read - I tightened the spring, I changed the idler pulley with the belt keeper, you name it, I tried it. I finally read a post on a forum somewhere where a guy was going through the exact same thing. Someone had suggested he tighten the bolt running through the other idler pulley which tightens the idler arm firmly to the deck. I went out to check the situation of my idler arm and it was as loose as a goose. For some reason it never dawned on me when putting the belt back on time after time that the idler arm should not have play in it. I guess what did I know. Bottom line is this - If for some reason you cannot get your belt to stay on when engaging the blades, check your bolt that goes through the pulley that attaches the idler arm to your deck - You will be glad you did. I have not had this happen to me since then and I check to make sure the 5/8ths bolt is tight before using the mower. Life is good now and the months of aggravation are over. I hope this helps someone.
