I have this mower just over 1 year and it has spent six months of that in the repair shop! I went out to mow this evening and it will not start! Battery and starter is working fine; its just not starting! My last two mowers were John Deeres and they are still running and over twenty years old! The Husqvarna didnt have one year on it and I started having breakdowns with it!! As soon as it is repaired, this time it is going to get sold and I will buy a John Deere, Toro or Snapper! - Something with known reliability and not another pile of junk like this Husqvarna RZ3016 30-Inch!!

We purchased a new Husqvarna YTH21K46 riding mower from Lowe’s located in New Hartford NY store a few years back. While I was mowing our lawn yesterday (7/16/17) I noticed flames shooting out the front cowl. This appeared to be a fuel line that may have became defective and failed. The mower is complete loss and we are now looking for a new mower within only a few years of purchasing this one. Local law enforcement and fire department were called to extinguish the blaze since the fuel tank was nearly full. We have had nothing but problems with this mower since we purchased it, the engine mounts were never tightened from the factory and I had to install new ones. The welds on the mower deck broke and had to be re-welded. The exhaust manifold kept coming loose, the list goes on and on.This is very disappointing and somewhat disturbing knowing this fire could have caused serious injury. We won’t be purchasing another mower from Husqvarna due to the quality of the product. I have reached out to Husqvarna about this issue and they did take an incident report and said they would be calling me back. I will update again once they respond or if they respond.

Bought new May 2020. First off I picked up mower only to hear constant squeaking noises while using it. Turns out place I got it never greased anything! Front wheels had no grease and even better... they have no bearings at ALL! Sleeve in wheel center just rides on axle! What a joke! Next all steering also makes constant noise! Same deal...metal to metal... no bushings! Gas gauge is a joke... piece of cloudy plastic 1/2 by 3/4 on front of tank... cant see it... to cloudy. Next is shift lever... on left side... same side you get off and on... catches your pants EVERY time you get on or off!!! I finally band sawed 3+ inches off off it, now just catches your pants every 3rd time. Cuts leaving missed grass in 2 narrow areas making you double cut everything! Seat has cracks/tears and only 61 hours use! Never buy any products from these people!!!!

I purchased a brand-new Husqvarna ZTR mower one year ago. In the year that Ive had it, it has been to the repair shop three times for repair. My mower is currently being repaired and they have had my mower now for four weeks (the part they need is back ordered!). I have 5 acres to mow and it costs $75/acre to hire the job done. If you do the math, you can see that hiring someone to mow 5 acres for 4 weeks is ridiculous! I could have bought a new mower with that money! I feel like Husqvarna should make this right. I have contacted customer service many times and they offer no solutions. They just tell me to take it to the repair shop and wait for the part. 4 weeks during mowing season is beyond ridiculous and they offer no solutions. I could lose a small child in my yard because I cant afford to have anyone else come out to mow! Ive already gone that route a few times and I dont have the extra money now. The representative simply said, Im sorry youre having these issues and I understand it can be frustrating. I feel like they should take this lemon and replace it. Or pay to have my 5 acres mowed (that might speed them up on this repair!). I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS MOWER. I WILL NEVER BUY HUSQVARNA IN THE FUTURE.

I am amazed at the amount of people complaining about Husqvarna products on this site. I have always owned Husky products and never had problems. They made killer motorcycles when I was a teenager and now I use their home and garden machines constantly. I bought a 350 chainsaw when I lived in the Colorado mountains, burning seven cords of wood a season and it has never failed to start on the second or third pull. Now, I live in N.C. where everything grows like crazy, using a YTH 2348 lawn tractor mowing a two-acre yard. Other than replacing a drive belt and a front wheel bearing the keeper ring, it has never given me any problems. I wonder if some of these people just dont have a good working knowledge of power equipment maintenance.

Itll be a cold day in hell before I ever, ever, ever buy a mower from Lowes or a Husqvarna product again. I hope this helps prevent someone from throwing their money away, the hassle of owning and repairing one of these movers.

I purchase a new lawnmower in July 2016. After a half-dozen uses 2 bolts came out of the handle. To replace them the service center had to dismantle the rear of the lawnmower. When I spoke with the manufacturer I was told this was not covered under warranty. I chalk it up to very poor workmanship on the part of the manufacturer. I cannot believe any reputable manufacturer would not back their product for 3 months use.

Bought a brand new husqvarna lawn tractor 26 hp 54 inch deck. Right off the bat, this thing has been hard to start. Dealer says nothing is wrong with it. You kill the battery cranking on it, then boost it and crank some more and more till it finally starts. Once youve started and ran it a little, it starts ok until it sits long enough to cool down. Then its back to wearing out the starter again to get it to fire up.

Bought this blower September 2014. Ran great until Feb 2015. Has been used maybe 12 hours and when I went to start the blower it was locked up. I always use gas without ethanol and Stihl oil. I removed spark plug, tapped the top of the piston lightly with a flat punch and the piston broke free. Replaced the gas and oil and tried to start, to no avail. Removed spark plug and checked the compression. There was none. It evidently has a broken compression ring. I have owned an equipment repair shop for 10 years. I am on my way to the trashcan and donating this blower to it. I am not even going to attempt to deal with their warranty. There will be a new Stihl in my shop tomorrow.

Husqvarna 455 Rancher Chainsaw - The chainsaw is well built and reliable until it begins to leak bar oil. Husqvarna knows that this problem is very widely reported by most model 455 owners. The part fails after about 40 to 60 hours of use. The fix is replacing the oil feed hose with a new style (correctly manufactured) hose (part 158551400(1)). The part costs $2.95. The labor costs $53.00. The repair is covered by the 2-year warranty or the pay extra extended warranty. Husqvarna notified its dealers about this manufacturing defect, shhhh, but did not notify registered chainsaw owners. Husqvarna will not do the right thing and issue a general and advertised recall. Memo to Husqvarna--do you see all (hundreds) of 1-star ratings on this website? It is a prescription for laying off many of your workers. Your quality and customer service ratings have plummeted lower than even Black and Decker. Do the right thing, issue a recall and free repair when it is Husqvarnas fault.

I purchased a Husqvarna AWD675 push lawn mower on 03/23/14 from Lowe’s and it started on the first pull after adding oil and gas. The mower worked fine for the first five months but it will not crank now, 09/15/14. I called the customer service number in the Husqvarna manual and I was placed on hold for approximately 30 minutes. The customer service representative informed me that this problem should be under warranty and she gave me the information of an authorized repair shop that honors Husqvarna warranties. I took the mower to the authorized repair shop and the repairman told me that the carburetor needs cleaning and this is not under warranty. The air filter still looks new and my yard is about 1/3 of an acre and I never let my grass get very high so the mower has not had an extraordinary strain on the engine. The repairman told me that it will cost approximately $60 to clean the carburetor. I am very displeased with this mower and I will never buy another Husqvarna product; I had a Yard Machine brand mower before this one that lasted 11 years.

We have four chain saws, a lawn mower and two leaf blowers - it takes us longer to get them started - ALL OF THEM - THAN IT DOES TO DO THE FUNCTION THEY ARE BUILT FOR. My partner had back surgery, he couldnt get them started. I am totally fit and able - I have difficulty - when we eventually do get them going they are wonderful .We have been back to the dealership numerous times, and followed their instructions, but still no cigar. If you want your wife to help out dont buy their products. I feel like taking the truck and driving over the entire bunch. We thought we were buying the best - think again. The most expensive isnt necessarily the best.

I recently purchased a Husqvarna self-propelled mower from the local dealer. I could have gone to Lowes and gotten a slightly lower price, but why not? I thought I would get better service all around from a certified dealer. Boy, was I wrong. I brought the mower home and first off, it is way too heavy for a 70 year old man. The drive is jerky. The mower gets stopped by any irregularity in the yard. I end up raising the back and moving the wheels so it can get traction. What a pain. Well, after talking with the dealer I purchased from and an hour-long talk with Husqvarna customer service, bottom line is I cant trade it for another more appropriate model. I am stuck with this piece of junk. I should have gone to Lowes. I could have taken it back and left with something that worked. This is my sixth Husqvarna product and my last.

It was OK until the warranty expired. 2 years after spending $2900 on a zero turn mower I have NOTHING but problems with the safety switch system. I cant start the mower and have tried by passing, replacing and re-setting switches with 0 (ZERO) success. This is the biggest waste of money. Husqvarna and the dealer who sold it to me can or will not help me because its out of warranty. They wont even give me tips on how to resolve the issue. I found out from another dealer that there is a known issue with the safety switches on these trackers, even OUT OF THE BOX. If anyone can help that would be great. Husqvarna needs a recall or they need to MAJOR LAWSUIT. Safety switch systems are a JOKE anyway. Just because a few STUPID people cant safely operate a machine I have to suffer with these safety switch BS. Thats big government and corporation corruption for you.

I bought the Husqvarna Brand 125B leaf blower thinking I was buying quality, but I was awakened by the fact that this company doesnt stand by their product, and that the leaf blower I bought is pure junk. I used it 4 times for my small yard, at periods of less than 10 minutes each time (estimated), and the blower stopped functioning. I tried to return it to Home Depot, but it was past their 90 day return policy. Home Depot recommend I take the blower to my nearest dealer, which I did, but, they were 12 weeks out. Meaning they couldnt work on it until then. So, my dealer told me to call Husqvarna to see if they could return it. Husqvarna said no, but they could recommend another repair shop about 50 miles away. I will never ever buy anything from this company again. The dealer happens to be a small local outfit which cannot keep up the demand of bad product from Husqvarna. This is what they told me, and after buying this piece of crap, I believe them. I recommend buying another brand!

I bought a Brand New what was supposed to be a 2018 but turned out it was a 2017! In April of 2018 I have had to replace everything above the deck at least once due to failure of components! Also I have had to change the blades at least 4 times! Leepers is where I was screwed at, and after fixing it again this last time, I found the deck was cracked at the weld of the back bracket! So I took it to an authorized warranty dealer. They called me and told me Husqvarna will not service my warranty! I paid $3000 for a mower that’s a $$$ pit! I WILL NEVER SHOP FOR HUSQVARNA EVER AGAIN, NOR DO I ADVISE ANYONE OF BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS!

LGTH22V48 - Bought mower new. Mowed my sparse lawn a few times and started to have issues with clods of cut grass falling from underside of mower deck where grass was packing excessively. When these clods fell into spinning blades the mower would bog and several times (5) the mower actually stalled (full engine stop). The last time it happened the left side blade arbor sheared all four mounting ears and tore out of the deck. This caused the belt to tear itself up, ruining it. I took mower to dealer who inspected and cleaned it trying to find cause. Dealer confirmed to me that he found NO indication of abuse/blade strike and in fact the broken arbor carried the least nicked blade of the 3. After several days dealer informed me that warranty was denied citing operator abuse. I was left with the bill and no resolution to the mower deck packing issue. I posted a summary of this issue on Husqvarnas facebook page and have had contact but no resolution to my complaint. Today after mowing my yard for the 2nd time since the repair I scraped out the mower deck and out came a pile of highly compacted grass 10 high and 23 across at the base. More than half of a five gallon pails worth! The packing issue persists with no resolution in sight.

I purchased and received a new Husqvarna chainsaw at the end of June. I used it three time cutting fallen trees in my yard. I was using it at the end of August just two months old and it stopped working. I was mid cut when it felt as if the engine seized. I followed all of the manufacturers requirements. I went to Lowes where I purchased it and they do not cover outdoor power equipment if it has been used. They said the manufacturers warranty was good for three months. They sent it to what they I understood to be Husqvarna but it was a repair vendor for them in conjunction with Lowes. They called and said it was an internal part some type of coolant air conductor which was broken and would not be covered. They also said the carb was dirty. I questioned the warranty and even though it was an internal issue, it was not covered. They said they would fix it for a total of $98.14. I told them to send it back. They billed the machine as being covered under warranty but it isnt.

Husqvarna 128LD overheats. Purchased a refurbished weed eater online from VMInnovations and it initially seemed ok until I actually tried to do a trim job with it. The unit overheats after about 10 to 15 minutes of use and dies, wont start again until it cools. Unit comes with a worthless warranty from the manufacturer. No factory authorized dealer will service a unit under warranty unless you bought it from them. Why would Husqvarna authorize someone unwilling to do the job? Calls to the manufacturer require 2 hours on the phone dancing around with them on one please hold after another only to be told that refurbished units only carry a 30-day warranty.Tried explaining their authorized refurbished seller has a 90-day manufacturer warranty spelled out on their eBay to no avail. VMInnovations claims it is only warrantied by the manufacturer so I guess nobody warranties Husqvarna anything. An item being refurbished should be just that but it should be thoroughly checked to make sure its ok. Buyer beware: unless you buy their products from a dealer and overpay for it dont expect warranty. Husqvarna is fully aware of this fact.

I purchased a new Husqvarna ST224 snow blower November 17, 2014. Our first snow was today, January 6, 2015. I have about 5 inches of snow on my driveway and when I started to clear it with my brand new, never used Husqvarna snow blower after about ten minutes of us the drive wheels stopped turning and parts fell out the under side of the snow blower. When I called the owner of Mower Zone in Danville, Indiana his response was, I sorry but it is mechanical and sometimes mechanical things break. I understand mechanical thinks breaking but not in the first ten minutes of use! The Manager of Mower Zone said he would send someone to pick it up and see if they could fix it. I ask for a loaner to be able to clear my driveway and he said they didnt do that. If that isnt enough to steer you away from Husqvarna, there was a $50 mail in rebate on this model snow blower. I sent in the rebate form and have not received the rebate. When I try to call to find out the status I get a recording telling me they are having technical problems and my call cannot be processed and I should call back at another time. This has been going on for weeks. I know I will never see my $50 rebate Husqvarna promised.

The front wheel appeared to have a bent axle. On closer inspection, I found the wheel support hand broken free of the deck. The mower deck metal was not strong enough in that area and metal fatigue caused the wheel to break free. I have never had this happen and suggest that it is a major product defect. There was no dealer once they knew that it was past the warranty. The Husqvarna customer service line goes to a loop. I was cut off every time I press the number as instructed. This is in reference with my Husqvarna rotary lawn mower (Model Number: 917.376822 21). My mower wouldnt start this spring. As it was still in warranty, I took it to an authorized repair center, Maximum Outdoor Equipment Service. Although I had prepared the mower for storage last fall by putting a fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, as described in the owners manual, I was told that the mower wasnt covered by warranty because the carburetor had gummed up. Apparently, the information in the manual was inaccurate and that a fuel stabilizer should never be used in a mower gas tank.I pointed out that the owners manual said to use stabilizer but I was told that it was erroneous information and that they were compelled to honor the warranty because Sears had their logo on the back of the book. I then went to Sears and was told that since Husqvarna had published the book, Sears could not be held responsible for the information in the manual.Additionally, I understand theres a bulletin from the factory regarding a fault in the carburetor on this model. So far, this farce has cost me $105 for something I feel should be covered by warranty. Your timely response with any help or guidance you can provide would be very much appreciated. After this experience, I will not ever purchase another Husqvarna product or anything powered by Kohler.

From very beginning our 24HP YTA24V48 48 B&S INTEK V-TWIN with 3-year extended warranty would not pull upgrade once warmed up. The pedals also lock up and have to be stomped to work. Took to the same dealer twice during the first year. Each time they claimed they could find nothing wrong. Took to a different dealer. They said that the transmission is in a vinyl housing and that they have had many of these brought in with the same complaint. After two months, they said Husqvarna would not approve replacement of the transmission. After two more weeks they still told me the same. I picked the mower up and use only on level terrain. Bought a Cub Cadet for mowing the hillsides and it works beautifully. My three-year extended warranty was worthless.

Service man said the belt was glazed and I paid to replace it. After the first use the original problem appeared and I took it back, and they determined that it was a faulty Hydro-Guard transmission. The transmission has only a two year warranty so they said it was not covered. To replace the transmission it would cost approximately $1400.00 plus labor which make it questionable the economic sense to replace it. The unit has only 47.2 hours of use.

I had to pay to have it brought to a dealer to inspect for warranty coverage (photos from me would not suffice). Dealer said I cant put in for warranty defect your blade obviously hit and tore the deck. I asked him to weld it which he did. Question is: under normal use when we all hit the rock or stick or whatever should we expect the deck to tear. Why not armor the edge of the chute like you do the edge around the base of the deck?? How does a deck fail in 10 years to be covered by the warranty? Rust? I should also warn possible buyers that the center of gravity on Husqvarnas is much higher than my Craftsman---meaning it will tip over on a grade where the Craftsman kept steady. So be careful if you feel the grade bringing you to a tipping point.

After looking at reviews (greatest thing since sliced bread) I decided to purchase one of these (Husqvarna ST227P Snowblower), what a mistake. I have used the machine approx. 10x and have had it back to the dealership 7x. To date they have had to replace the carburetor -- machine would not keep running, replace the drive - would not go forward or backwards, belts broke second time I used it, gas lines split and leaked gas after the first season, plastic for the discharge chute controls snapped off and remember this is after only 10 uses. The dealership has had the machine more than I have. I attempted to exchange it for another machine and or have my money refunded but Husqvarna said no but they would extend the warranty for an additional 6 months and keep having it fixed until the warranty run out. In the meantime I have had to borrow a friends machine, pay to have our driveway plowed and shovel. The last time I took the machine in they had to replace the drive which took 2 months for the parts to arrive. Twice when I went to pick the machine up after being called because it was repaired I have had to leave it due to the machine breaking down when they were trying to load it on to my truck. I contacted Husqvarna who in turn contacted the dealership I purchased the machine from and were told that the gas lines leaked was due to me leaving old gas in it over the winter. Unbelievable. All of my equipment is winterized and some are 15 plus years old and have never had the gas line changed, what a joke!! It appears that Husqvarnas quality has gone and I will not be purchasing any more of their products. I currently own 2 of their chainsaws, both over ten years old and never an issue but speaking to friends who have purchase new ones they have had nothing but issues. At this point I am rooting for the greenhouse effect and we never get snow again!!! What a waste of $1698.00.

Husqvarna LTG 2654 mower is trenching my yard. The mower deck is digging up my yard. When I raise the deck so it doesnt dig up my yard, it cuts the grass too high. A voltage regulator had to be replaced in 1 year of operation. I did it myself to save 6 hours of driving to a Husqvarna dealer and was told by a Lowe’s rep that Husqvarna wouldnt pay for the regulator. I tried to call Husqvarna and was put on hold for 45 minutes (no one answered).I had a Sears mower that only needed a fuel pump replaced in 8 years of operation. I gave it to a friend a year ago and its still in use today. I wish I had it back. I would encourage you to not buy a Husqvarna. Their consumer department is not user-friendly. I should have bought a Simplicity mower from a local dealer.

Let me start by saying that a warranty is like insurance - Its wonderful to have as long as you dont need to use it. I purchased my zero turn with a catching system attached, May 2014. During the second or third cut, apparently the chute clogged and stopped the blower fan from turning. This in turn made the belt that turns the blower break. I probably should have made a lot of noise at that point. However, I needed the mower and could not be without it for any period of time (I mow 4 acres), so I simply removed the catching system and used it that way. Apparently, when the belt broke, it did some latent damage to the spindle on which it rides. It finally gave out last weekend. Since it was still under warranty, I called Husqvarna and they told me warranty claims could not be initiated over the phone. An authorized dealer must personally inspect it. They gave me the names of the two closest to me.I took the parts in to one of them for him to inspect, but he would not help me in any way, shape or form because I did not purchase the machine from him. He told me the big box store I purchased it from was responsible for all warranty claims. He was sick and tired of the big box stores getting all the sales while he gets stuck with all the warranty work. In fact, he stated that he loses money on warranty work. Im still trying to figure that out. However, he was more than happy to sell me the parts at list price. I tried to write this experience as a review on the Husqvarna website, but they refused to post it because it did not meet their review guidelines. Big surprise there. The bottom line is - I will use this mower until it wears out, which eventually it will. When replacement time comes, I will look elsewhere.

We purchased a Husqvarna Z254 Zero Turn Mower last fall 2017. We tried it a couple of times at the end of the season and stored it under cover for winter. Got it out 3 weeks ago and mowed a long strip on my farm where we have been mowing for the last 18 years with a Murray rider then a John Deere C190. After mowing for ~45 minutes, the right mandrel (housing that holds shaft and blade to mower deck) broke completely off the deck. The center mandrel was cracked. Husqvarna said it was due to abusive treatment. Totally untrue. This mower has a total of about 2 hours use. The authorized dealer repairing the mower said they have stopped stocking Husqvarna mowers because of this and other problems. Very disappointed. I purchased this because the reviews said it was good on hills and uneven ground. Dont buy this mower! Were done with Husqvarna.

Within a year of purchase, Husqvarna XP545 chainsaw piston froze. Dealer took first peak at it, said it was not enough oil in the fuel mixture and Husqvarna would not cover it under warranty. Odd, since the gas was brand new and I used the oil that I purchased from the dealer AND I have used this fuel mixture on a Stihl chainsaw with no issues. The dealer was good enough to contact Husqvarna customer support while I was in the store. I expected that I could speak to the representative, but I guess I was not a privileged customer and was denied to speak to them directly. The dealer was asked to send pictures. Husqvarna reviewed the pictures and said it was TOO much oil in the mixture. Seems odd that two independent qualified parties came up with completely different root cause of the issue. In any case, my claim with Husqvarna was denied and their warranty will not cover a defect on their end. They are using the excuse to say the gas was bad. Having power equipment for over 25 years, this statement is a joke as my 20 year old Craftsman Weedwacker that I leave old and stale gas in over the winter actually still starts and works fine. Husqvarna really needs to take accountability for their lack in quality and professionalism. A lot of money for a piece of crap engineering.

I bought this mower to replace a 25 year old John Deere. After a while one gets tired of working on them before using them. I purchased it at Lowes in April, In May the belt came off so I called Lowes and they told me to bring it in. I did and after three weeks I picked it up. Right away the belt came off again. This time I called Husqvarna and they told me to take it to a dealer, I did. Two weeks later the mower is back home, I have finally been able to cut the entire lawn, but guess what? The belt came off AGAIN! Husqvarna used to make really quality equipment, I have a 20 year old chainsaw that has never given me any problem. If I had known this was the way they treat their customers I would have bought another John Deere. Now I have to take it back to the dealer and hope they get it right this time.

We purchased the 24 HP 54 cut Husqvarna lawn tractor last fall 2013. Every time we mow the lawn, we have to scrape the deck with a putty knife to clean the grass that builds up while cutting the grass. We have had to stop cutting the lawn because the deck packs up with lawn grass clippings. This has been a continuous problem since we bought it. We have taken it back to the dealership and they changed the blades, put on gator blades and even tried mowing themselves and still it builds up under the deck. They let us use a brand new zero turn and it too had to be cleaned. The deck is poorly made and Husqvarna does nothing to help you.. It is under warranty and I am sure they WILL do something about this problem.

Used the new tiller about an hour and it could restart with just one pull of the cord. Stopped it and restarted it about six times during that period but then the pull cord jammed up. Husqvarna advised to take it to a repair shop closest to me of their choosing to see if part was under warranty. Cost $100.00 to get someone with a pickup to get it there.. Operators Manual clearly states engines and transmissions not covered by warranty. Repair shop advises they will order the part and I must pay for it so I paid. They allow me to install it myself. We bought a Husq self-propelled mower. We noticed the front, right wheel was crooked. It looked like the tire was on crooked (later learned it is a complete unit). It worked and so we decided to wait on checking it out. We went into winter, then the mower was in storage thru the summer as we sold one home and rented (mower in storage) till we purchased another home. We moved in the winter and are just now using the mower again. Upon removing the crooked wheel, we learned the hub was crooked and had caused a complete grind-down of 2/3 of the gears. We called Husq and a wonderful rep. helped us find a repair shop. They called Husq and were told the wheel replacement was not covered because we didnt have it checked out right away.We called Husq again and got stone-walled. Called back later and got a wonderful rep that transferred us to the escalation team, who was another stone-waller. Its a $25 wheel. Not the kind of service I ever want to be subjected to again. One or two reps were really helpful and professional. The other two reps acted like it was their own $25 they were protecting. They were not helpful or professional. This attitude/standard clearly comes from senior management. Ive had it with Husq.

I bought a Husqvarna Lawn Tractor lgt2554. My mower deck lasted about 6 months. I have to buy a used 1. I also bought the SNOW PACKAGE. My problem is that I went out to plow about 6-8 inches of snow last week and the right rear axle broke off. This is first time that I used this snow blade. I was on this machine about 5 minutes and the right rear axle broke. I called Husqvarna and explained what had happened. They told me that they buy different and assemble them. They had me call Tuff Torq - this is the company that purchases these rear axles for Husqvarna. The lady from Tuff Torq stated that Husqvarna builds these tractors with light duty rear axles. The manager stated that Husqvarna should have put bigger rear axles on these and that have had numerous complaints. I talked with VAN at Husqvarna he is the manager- they sent me to three repair facilities and everyone stated that this rear axle was too light for snow plowing. Then Husqvarna refused to repair my tractor.Im going down to Detroit Michigan in two weeks and Im going to meet with a large law firm. When I called the law firm for some information, they stated in the Consumers Reports that Husqvarna has a 1 1/2 approval rating on a 5 scale. The attorney asked that I call Husqvarna one more time for them to send me a new axle or for them to pay for repair of this tractor. Then he stated that he was going to check if he can start a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against Husqvarna.

I purchased Husqvarna GHT2754 garden tractor 9 years ago from a local dealer. The first year all was well. The second year a pulley bracket broke. Brought the tractor to the dealer for repairs. Was told the tractor was out of warranty so I would have to pay for any repairs. The third year a similar thing happened. Dealer told me he feels the mower deck was under-designed for its size, (54). Would have been nice to know before purchase. Repairs were made. Later that year or possibly the next the deck broke for the third time. Again this was a pulley mount. This time the dealer asked if I would mind if he sent it to a friend who has experience fixing farm equipment. A year passed with no problems but the next year the mower deck front mounting plate broke. I was so frustrated I had a friend fabricate a reinforced part and weld it. Last year the steering stopped working. When disassembled the plastic bearing had failed and wore through the steel mount. Again a new much stronger mount and bearing were fabricated and installed. Yesterday while installing a new drive belt I found the bracket for yet another pulley was cracked to the point it will need to be welded and reinforced as well. Each time I had a failure it cost me time and money to make repairs, hire someone else to cut my grass and even pay to have the dealer pickup the tractor to bring in for repairs. I wish I had kept better records and photos because I think I would be talking to a lawyer regarding this. I should have researched Husqvarna better prior to buying this tractor. I would have been far better off and money ahead, if I had hired a lawn service these past 9 years. My recommendation is to stay away from Husqvarna products unless you enjoy spending your free time rebuilding poorly designed and manufactured products.

My girlfriend and I bought a new Husqvarna GT52XLS FOR $3,339.00 IN CASH on June 21, 2013. The dealer did their set-up and delivered it that afternoon. I noticed that they did not fill the gas tank like they promised. So I filled it up and started to mow the lawn. About an hour of mowing, I started to hear a noise coming from the engine. I stopped and checked the oil and there was NO oil on the stick. I called the dealer to let them know and went down to get a qt. of oil from them. The mower took the whole qt. to put it between the lines.I went back and finished the lawn and the mower had 2 1/2 hours on the meter. I looked it all over to see if there were any leaks at all and saw none. Then I checked the oil again and there was NO oil on the stick again. I cleaned it up like I do every time I mow the lawn. The following morning, I went to the dealer and told them about it and asked them to replace it with a new one. They came by Monday morning to look at the mower and also found that there was no oil on the stick. Andy put in another qt. of oil and that filled it up. He then ran it for about 15 minutes to check for leaks or to see if it was burning any oil. He did not find any. Later that morning, they came by to pick it up so they could check it at the shop. That afternoon, the owner called and said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it from having it sit and run for 5.2 hours. On Tuesday morning, we went down to the dealer to see what they would do. The owner was in the back and did not come out to talk with us. Instead we dealt with one his employees. After 1 1/2 hours of my girlfriend talking to them, they said there was nothing wrong with it and that they would only stand behind the warranty on the mower. We asked for a new mower, a new engine (Kawasaki motor to replace the one that was in there), and we asked if they would fix any problem with the Kawasaki engine after the warranty ran out. Their answer was NO!!! So we asked to return it. They had to check with the owner who was in the back during the whole time. They gave us a check for $3,339.00, the same price we paid for it. When we took it to the bank that it was written on, we had to pay $7.50 to cash it.

I have always heard how great these saws were and went to Rural King and paid a big chunk of cash for a Rancher. I took it home and immediately put it to work cutting. That affair lasted almost 30 minutes. At that point a plastic piece attached to the chain brake snapped, just snapped without being dropped, etc. So I re-packed it in its fresh box and returned it to the store that same day. They tried to talk me into keeping it but I argued that at this rate it will have broken dozens of times before it even gets to the warranty expiration date. I was done with Husky--or so I thought. Last year (5 years later) I needed an affordable simple push mower for rough cutting of rough areas around my yard area. I bought a Poulan Pro and used it for almost exactly a season. At that point it was smoking to the point I had watering eyes and actually made loud rattling noises when running. My last mower was an MTD and I used that for ten seasons doing the rough mowing. 10 to 1, are you kidding? Then on this website just today, I see Poulan Pro is made by Husky. No surprises there! Finally, I tried contacting Poulan Pro and it was exasperating to the point I gave up (which is probably their intention).

This mower is used for my yard only. I cant see spending this much money on a mower to have trouble with it already.

Because of a very bad design on the wiring on the blade clutch we had to invest in a $200.00 part and spend three hours trying to replace the broken clutch. The wiring design is so bad and so restricted that with time the wiring pulled away from the clutch. There has got to be a better design for such a great product.

I am very dissatisfied with 2015 42-inch riding mower/garden tractor. It sounds like a bucket of bolts. It is very hard to start and the battery is no good. I only have a few hours on the mower and am just beginning the second season. I wish I had bought something else. As for service, I bought from a regular mower shop, hardware store. They sell massive amounts of mowers. But, when I complained about the problems beginning shortly after I bought it, there was no response from them. They acted as if these things were normal. Well they are not. Husqvarna has lost my business and so has the store I bought it from. That so, they have lost my future sales and sales of others that ask me how my mower runs. I am very disappointed.

The local Husqvarna dealer was offering a $50 rebate on the lawnmowers, so I purchased one. I initially got a letter back that said I hadnt sent in the warranty card along with the rebate (which I did). After going back to the dealer and asking him to sort it out, about 2 months later, I received a $30 rebate, not $50 as I was promised.

I bought a LGT 2554 from Lowes in Muncie, In.. They also sold me a push plow for snow. The first winter I started pushing snow and broke the frame where the transaxle met. Called Lowes, they had a dealer come out and re-weld the frame (needless to say, I didnt have my tractor for the rest of the winter). The following summer I was mowing my yard for the first time that summer and again, broke the frame where they welded it. Called Husqvarna and complained. They had another guy come up from Milroy, In. to get it and fix it. I got to looking at the frame. It is a one piece stamped into the whole frame with a long throw off then bolted down. Got to looking at John Deere and Cubcadets and they both had a L piece angle iron running from the frame to the transaxle. I told the guy in Milroy about it and he got to checking it out. So that is how he fixed my Husqvarna. He was telling me that that tractor had too much torque for that frame. I have been pushing a lot of snow for 3 years now on that setup without a single breakage. Told Husqvarna about how to fix it, and they just simply said they would look into it.

Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of
Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of gas. The service center could not determine the cause, but replaced cylinder and piston. After 8 more tanks of gas, the engine seized. The piston/cylinder burned up again. The service center reported a metal support between the carb and head was missing from the factory. During the first repair, the technician noticed it missing and thought they changed the design. They explained that after the saw warmed up, it would allow air to leak into the head causing the saw to run too lean and too hot. As this was a factory error, I expected an apology or a new saw, but received neither. I paid $1,100 for this factory defect saw and would be lucky to get half of that for this saw that has burned up twice. I asked for a refund or a new power head but Husqvarna would do neither. They said it would still be covered under warranty, but I would rather be cutting logs than waiting for repair service. At this point, I do not trust this saw that has been exposed to extreme heat twice and have to baby the saw or take a loss and sell it. Husqvarna did not do me right and I will never purchase a Husqvarna product again. If you are considering purchasing a Husqvarna, be forewarned.

I purchased a McCulloch 42 inch riding mower that is made by Husqvarna. It has the same Intek Briggs & Stratton engine, and the salesman told me that it was essentially the same as the Husqvarna. Well, if it is, they are both undependable, and poorly made. The engine stalls every time that the blade is engaged. The battery died on the day that I bought it. It backfires, and is hard to start. I returned it for a refund on the first day because of all of the problems. After reading the reviews I am in at a loss as to what riding mower to buy that will be reliable and dependable. Any recommendations???

I bought a new Husqvarna Zero turn Model RZ5426. I bought this larger scale
I bought a new Husqvarna Zero turn Model RZ5426. I bought this larger scale because I have about 2 acres to mow. It has just over 4 hours on the machine. It has been in the shop more than it has been at my home. The first thing I never liked is they cut sloppy cut. I figured I could buy better blades, not a big thing. First time I was mowing this summer, I broke of a blade bracket. I ran over tree branch, not big by no means, but it broke it off in many pieces. I had that repaired and after trying it again, I broke another bracket off in less than an hour. And after talking to the Husqvarna dealer, all they said was it was a common problem. I got that back home and began using it and I noticed a lot of deck noise. After checking things out, I found a belt pulley completely worn off. I checked the others and they are all very badly worn, as well as the teeth on the blade brackets. So now, the dealer is basically rebuilding my deck I only have 4 hours on it. I have tried calling Husqvarna customer service all they do is make a report and send it to this so called Army Answer group whos supposed to handle their complaints and answer questions. I have left 3 questions with them and not one has been answered yet. Have left a bad review of the model of mower I have and that was rejected. I have not gotten any reply back from Husqvarna and am very angry with all the problems Im having. I believe its a flaw in the mover or very cheap parts. I do know that the pulleys are made out of very cheap extremely thin metal. I cant see how that would last at all. Every time I take it back, all they can do is replace the crap with the same cheap junk they had in the first place. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. If I could find stronger parts that would fit this deck, I would spend the money. All I know is Husqvarna will not stand behind this product at all. I cannot find any emails for Husqvarna. All they have is Answer Army which is a complete joke. If you have any idea what I can do, please let me know.

Husqvarna ZTR mower only 2 weeks old has lost tension on the deck idler pulley. I called to get some information on how to fix this and they could only send me to service shops many miles away. They had no desire or ability to let me have the technical service information to fix this trivial problem; rather, they want to direct me to expensive service and much cost for transport. This is beyond lousy service. Every lawnmower owner should be able to get decent technical service documents.

Bought a dealership model Husqvarna GTH26V52LS two years ago. Had several problems with it the first season. Now at the beginning of season 2 1/2 with 7 months of promised warranty left, they tell me my transaxle Hydro-Gear is leaking and it is a sealed unit and a new one is $1287.65. This is a mower that spends its down time in a heated air conditioned shop. It has only 132 hours on it. No I did not run over a truck or stump or something, it just puked all the oil out while setting over the winter. As usual, my local no service dealer could not help and Husqvarnas no service personnel said sorry and the manufacturer said its out of warranty. Seems that everything on the mower from the air in the tires to the paint job has a 3-year warranty but of course the hydro-gear has a two-year warranty. Stay away from Husqvarna as they are quick to sell you a product but they do not know you once you walk out the door.

It crapped out and took it to Lowes (a separate story), sent to so called authorized repair center. Its nearly 60 days later and now he tells me corporate is not responding, so he cant repair it. Tried contacting Poulan eight hundred number and this is your worst nightmare. Bottom line, I have a blower that is now technically out of way because my unit sat at a so called approved repair store that apparently was not approved. The hundred bucks for the blower is not my issue. I most certainly dont need the aggravation. If the CEO of Husqvarna gets to read this, I would hope heads will roll. This no way to run a company. Well, I will join the crew who unfortunately purchased a Husqvarna riding mower.. and at Lowes.. A double whammy for sure. First out of the gate with glee mowing the 1.8 acres we own. All great! Then the next time I get on to mow.. the front tires are FLAT! This has continued for two seasons and now in the third. Visited the Lowes where purchased.. nobody or even has a suggestion.. This being three weeks after purchase. They say I need to buy new wheels? LOL yeah right. They say they have no interest in helping and I should contact Husqv.. Yeah that worked.. They said go to the Lowes.. LOL Well, here we are third season.. go to the shop to get the mower spruced for Spring.. FLAT tires of course.. NEVER. NEVER again will I EVER buy Husqvarna ANYTHING or Lowes for that matter. Finished, done.. all gone. I am buying a new JD at the end of this season.. Selling off the crap and going for the gold standard. And I will shout it out to all I know, see, hear. etc.. this sucks.

I buy all brand new Husqvarna equipment when I opened my landscaping business 8 months ago. I paid for Lowe’s no hassle warranty, and thought that the nicest equipment from Lowe’s and extra warranty would start me in the right direction. Boy was I wrong! Lowe’s warranty is completely worthless. If they do anything at all it will be blame you for the damage, then charge you for the repairs that don’t even fix the problem. Husqvarna is no better, when I’ve given up on trying to have my equipment fixed again I asked to just get my money back for the garbage they sold me. Then they reply to me that they will only fix it and that’s if they feel that the damage is due to something that they deem under warranty! Wtf!? Really? I paid for an extra warranty that Lowe’s won’t uphold because it’s under Husqvarna’s warranty so Lowe’s isn’t responsible, and then Husqvarna’s warranty is that they will only fix what they feel like fixing if they feel like doing anything? Don’t bother with Husqvarna. Every piece of their equipment I’ve purchased has given me trouble and if you do definitely do not waste your money on the extended warranty at Lowe’s. It’s worse than the garbage you just paid for!

I bought a new garden tractor/riding mower from Husqvarna via Amazon in Mar
I bought a new garden tractor/riding mower from Husqvarna via Amazon in March 2017. Within two months it would not go into reverse. I used it as is so I could care for the 10-acre garden/lawn/orchard/vineyard I maintain until the damn thing blew up, scattering parts everywhere. It was the transmission and the clutch. Under warranty. Called Husqvarna to find a local dealer for service (I live in an extremely remote area of the US) and was referred to one some miles away who refused to service my tractor because I had not bought it from him. Called Husqvarna to report this and to see what else I could do. Turns out there was a dealer in the town closest to me, which they had failed to mention first time. It sat in the shop for weeks as we waited for parts and/or argued with Husqvarna about the warranty. Finally got it back and guess what? Two months later the transmission did the same thing: No reverse and then no forward either. It has been in the shop for weeks while we wait for parts that are back ordered or whatever is the most recent excuse. In short, out of the 17 months that I have had ownership of this equipment, I have had only 4 months of full service. I have had three garden tractors over the years and never had these kinds of problems. I will never, ever buy a Husqvarna again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Not only is the product inferior (plastic parts in a transmission?!) but the customer service is terrible. Perhaps I have a lemon (that can happen) but I will never take a chance like this again - and it cost twice what I am accustomed to paying! In truth, Id just like my money back so I can buy something that performs. And I have any number of witnesses to this so Husqvarna cannot dispute my claims.

Stay away from the 562XP! Bought the saw at the start of summer to compliment my other competitor’s saw. Used the same gas and oil mix in my competitor’s saw as well as in the Husqvarna 562XP. After less than 24 hours of use, I took the saw in because it was getting progressively harder to start. After being in the service shop for 42 days I got a call saying that the carburetor has some worn parts that would be covered under warranty. Great, covered under warranty and it will be a couple more weeks until they get the parts installed. A couple weeks pass and I call the shop and they say that it still isnt running quite right and they are looking for something else wrong, now the saw has been in repair for 2 months and they still dont know what is wrong. Get a call a few weeks later stating that the piston is scored and not covered under warranty, “Sorry nothing we can do.” As I said before I run the same gas/oil mix for my competitor’s saw as well as the Husqvarna. Ended up taking my competitor’s saw into the dealer to see if that piston had any trouble, and he said it looked perfect. Called Husqvarna to inquire about the manufacturer defect, and why it would not be covered under warranty. They were rude and would not let you talk to anyone that knew anything about the chainsaw and said they will communicate directly with the shop, nothing I can do about it, and no one I can talk to. So after paying just over 700 dollars for the saw I got 24 hours of use out of it. Terrible service, horrible customer service, and a joke of a chainsaw. Will never buy another product with the name Husqvarna on it again. Buyer beware, stay away! You have been warned.Update: on 12/6/14 I took the saw to two independent (Non-Husqvarna) dealers, both looked at the piston which was scored on the exhaust side only, both stated that running on straight fuel, or an improper mixture would give both intake and exhaust, nearly 360 degree damage, not what my saw has. They both said that due to the intake side being perfect that it was likely another problem. The one dealer said he would suspect an air leak, and that would be covered if I would have bought his saw. The one dealer admitted to Husqvarna being a terrible company for a customer to deal with. So once again, you have been warned, buy a different brand. They also blocked my review several times on their website, so I have decided to post on their facebook page instead!

Been a very reliable mower at a very reasonable price, the only parts we have had to replace are the blades and a drive belt. It is the 750 V twin engine and has lots of power to pull our trailer add-ons. Never been stuck through not enough power but have been stuck through only one rear wheel drive and wheels churned the grass to mud then lost traction. 2 wheel drive, gears for more control of speed would make this great mower even better. I purchased a rear-drive self-propelled Husqvarna 775EX mower two years ago. I encountered problems immediately and went back to Lowes as I was told I could when I bought the machine. I had not completed cutting my small lawn once when it quit. I was told a drive part was broken and it was replaced for over $100 (no warranty service). It sort of cut for a short while, maybe three or four cuts and I realized I was pushing the mower more than it was pushing itself. It cannot both cut and move itself at the same time except on a level surface with very short grass. I have taken it to an authorized repair service twice as recommended by the company and they told me there was nothing wrong with it and that I should expect to have to push it some as it was not made to completely propel itself. I wish I had not gotten rid of my old machine (a 14 year old Yard Man) which still propelled itself with a broken drive wheel. I have written Husqvarna and received essentially no answers other than to see the authorized repair service. This machine is a piece of junk and Husqvarna provides no meaningful customer service assistance. I will never buy another product associated with this company and will do my best to spread the word of poor quality and no customer service.

I purchased this mower in May and in October it stopped working. it had been pretty solid until then with the one exception that the self propelled drive belt kept coming off and I had to remove the pulley and re-thread the belt each time. After it failed in October (wouldnt start) I took it in for service and they told me the oil was low and the motor had burned up. I had checked a few times over the Summer but had not been checking religiously with each use. After considering it a bit I think I know what happened. I had to tip the mower each time I fixed the belt and Im guessing the last time oil must have leaked out the air filter or into the cylinder. It never occurred to me to check the oil again after putting the belt back into the pulley. Long story short the warranty tech looked at it and said its user error for running the unit low on oil so its a total loss. Kiss that 400 bucks goodbye. I can see their argument but Im pretty unhappy that tipping the mower to fix the belt that kept jumping off resulted in trashing the motor. Anyway, Im off Husqvarna for life. I replaced it with a Toro and Im getting ready to buy a snowblower - a Craftsman.

On 7/22/2010, I received a new Husqvarna Rotary Lawn Mower (Part no: 917.376823 / Product no: 7021) as part of an exchange for another mower from Sears. I have had nothing but problems with the Husqvarna’s carburetor. On 11/26/2010, the mower stopped running and I had to return the mower to Sears for repair. After two weeks, I was told the problem was with the mowers carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me. On 6/20/2011, the mower stopped running and I had to return it to Sears. The problem was again the carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me after 2 weeks. On 10/8/2011, the mower stopped running and I had to return it to Sears. The problem was the carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me after two weeks. On 5/1/2012, the mower stopped working. I returned it to Sears and they told me it was yet again a problem with the Carburetor. It was repaired and returned to me on 5/19/2012. I have since purchased a Toro lawn mower. On 10/6/2012, I decided to use the Husqvarna and the mower stopped running after a short period of time. I will not be returning it to Sears; I know what the problem is. Based on the number of problems with the same component and the constant returns and long periods of time without a mower, I would not recommend the purchase of a Husqvarna lawn mower.

I bought a Husqvarna LGT2554 which I paid 2600 for. Thought it would be a good mower that would last me for awhile and I even bought a four year warranty. Boy was I wrong! It wasnt long that I had the mower that the Right front wheel fell off. The bearings chewed up. That came out and took it to the shop. Bearing on back order. Finally get the mower back weeks later and start mowing again. After several hours of use same wheel falls off. To shorten the story this went on for the first three years I had this mower not to mention the starter going out. After three years of the wheel falling off they finally put a new front axle on it which was on back order. Didnt get to use the mower the whole year. When I did get it back it didnt take many hours of us before the same wheel fell off. They put a new wheel on it this time. Started mowing again when I got it back and the next thing it wont move. I figured the main drive belt broke but it was intact. Started pushing it back to the house and lo and behold the left rear wheel falls off. Upon inspection, the axle broke. By this time my extended warranty had ran out. Called Husqvarna and they basically told me that they were not going to do anything. I had this mower four years and it stayed in the shop more than I mowed with it. I had to buy a new mower this year and you can bet it wasnt a Husqvarna. I think when you pay that much for something it should last for years if you take care of it. This on was a lemon from the word go!!

May 27th 2013, I had purchased a brand new Husqvarna yth2348 riding mower the hour meter just turned 49 hrs yesterday on May 26 2014 as I was mowing my lawn for the 2nd time this year, as I was tuning a corner I heard a weird noise. I looked down at the mower and seen 3/4 of the mower deck hanging out of the passenger side of the mower. I put the parking brake on went to step down and the belt flew off and waked me in the left ankle making the side of my foot go numb shut the mower down and found that the welds holding the brackets on the mower deck broke right off, as a welder/mechanic by trade of 30 yrs. There were welds that didnt take the welds were rusted 3/4 percent only leaving maybe a 1/16 of an inch holding the brackets to the deck. Went to the hospital for my foot which I can no longer feel my big toe and the side of my foot, Dr. says possible nerve damage. I called sears and Husqvarna and explained to them what had happened. I do have a witness that seen this happen. I will say I will never buy another Husqvarna product as they have cheapened their products, no quality control cheap porous welds. I am now getting the atty. gen and my own atty involved. Buyers Beware.

On 6/06/2011, I purchased a Husqvarna LGT2554. I used it once, and then it would not start. No fuel at carburetor. Lowes replaced it on 7/25/2011. I used this one 3 times. I went to start to move and have the same problem as the first one. I called Lowes for the repair center; I was given a wrong number. I called Lowes again and was told if I wanted it picked up for repair. I should have bought a John Deer. I still have not gotten a number for a warranty repair. Next time, I will buy a John Deer. I do not have any way to get this thing to a repair shop. No name and number for a repair shop. I dont know of any place to purchase parts to repair for myself. I just wanted you to know that your high-priced piece of junk is just that. I am a businessman in Tulsa, OK and I assure you, everybody I come in contact with will be made aware of my problem and the quality of your product.

I bought a HUS960430109 riding mower 3/28/2012 new. I used it about 5 times before the drought set in. I began watering from our lake and needed to mow. The right front tire was flat. On 8/6/2012, I took the tire to my dealer for a repair and was told the cracks in the tire were delamination and was a problem to be handled by Husqvarna. He called that day. I have called about the status of the tires and was told today (8/17/12) that it would be 4 to 5 weeks for Husqvarna to correct the problem. The dealer is handling it for me. If I had both tires and rims, I could solve the problem at one time. Now, I have to pick up one tire and then take the second tire to the dealer. This is a lousy way for Husqvarna to handle a problem.

LGT 2554 lawn tractor Husqvarna - I have purchased a brand new in 2009 of May. As of May 18 of 2013, the mower threw a drive belt after taking off the mower deck to find out why. I noticed that the frame (chassis) where the rear end mounts to the frame was broken on both sides. I mow on flat ground. I called the service center. There was nothing they could do but go to a service center to get it fixed. So I took it into my hands and had to order a new frame. It will be up for sale as soon as it will be fixed! Not too happy with the brand!
