A one year old lawn mower has broken. A very shoddy made part, which sells quite well on eBay by many sellers for a low price, yet cant get the warranty repair needed. Will pick up the mower tomorrow, either take it somewhere else to be repaired, or bring it home, order the part from eBay and repair it myself. Husqvarna warranty is no good if the warranty repair shop wont do it. Warranty shop is in Opp Alabama.

I purchased this mower (YTA24v48) from Lowes and used it 2 times and it has only has 8 hours on it. Something broke on it and it would not go forward or back up. Lowes picked it up on April 2nd and sent it to Husqvarna repair shop and they dont know when it will be fixed. They said they had to order a part and was waiting on it. That has been 3 weeks ago. I am not happy with the service or the mower. I would like to exchange it for another brand But just have to wait on Lowes to do something.

I bought a Husqvarna rototiller in 2005. I used it 4 times. On the 4th time, the wheels stopped turning. I took it back to where I bought it. I had it checked out and was told that the transmission was bad. I got the number for Tech Service (not easy to do) and was told, sorry, you should have used it more. My next stop is cyberspace and the BBB.

Best mower I have ever owned. Keeps on going...just like the Energizer bunny. Have had mower many years with some minor repairs but it has proven super reliable. Highly recommend a Husqvarna mower. Very easy to ride.

For the amount of money we spent on our Husqvarna YTH26V54 youd expect AT LEAST some quality in the product. However, from the battery constantly draining and needing to be jumpstarted to the belts needing to be replaced as well as a rod breaking. Not worth the money, the hassle, or headaches its provided. Id have better luck with a pair of scissors versus this lawn mower. Research before you buy and dont waste your money on something like this one.

We purchased our mower 5 years ago and right after we got it, the wheel fell off. So, Lowes brought us a new machine. We purchased the 4-year extended warranty and wouldnt you know it, one month after the warranty expired, the motor went out. We have a new motor $1,200 later. That was in July. Now, in May of the following year, the transmission goes out…that’s another $985. We could have just bought a new mower. Now, we’re spending another $2,200 only 5 years later. I will NEVER buy another Husqvarna ever again. Im very upset that weve just spent $4,400 on a $2,000 mower in a matter of 5 years.

Bought this new Husquarvarna 24 go 48 inch cut and after one mowing season had to buy a new spindle. After fixing that myself even though it was under warranty the $1500 transmission went out. I bought this at Lowes and learned two important lessons. 1st dont buy a Husquarvarna and dont buy machinery that does not service them. I was without a mower for over a month and once they fixed it I have been sparingly using as I feel it is a very feeble machine. I doubt it will last year #3.

Bought model 725 AWD push mower from Lowes in Sept. 2015. Used it 5 times and begin having to pull rope too many times to get mower started. Suppose to start in two pulls. Then at about 10 times using it All Wheel Drive cable stopped working. After looking at the underside of mower noticed molded part of transmission where cable goes into was broken off and missing so AWD is useless now.Mower is too heavy to push without the belt working. No help from Lowes customer service and couldnt find a local dealer to try and get it fixed under the 3-year warranty. Which Im pretty sure they would say it was my fault. Transmission part that broke was made of plastic. Bad choice for a $500 mower. Husqvarna doesnt even carry the transmission after a year old. Replacement part online from source other than Husqvarna is $80 plus the cost of having it installed. Not buying another mower from them!

Never have a issue. Always starts right up and havent had to buy new blades. Yet have it over a year. Its a amazing machine. I highly recommend. It does what its supposed to do with minimum maintenance. The best brand out there by far.

Do not ever buy a push mower from Husqvarna. 1st pull of string or last eventually the metal cover for shaft will break literally in half putting you or something in danger of being hit by 1/4 in steel and a good size chunk of it! Took it to certified lawn mower repair man. He said its common in these and almost everyone WILL do it eventually, so got it repaired. Found an old push mower for my small, flat yard and havent had a problem - got it free or Id burn down their factory! So Ill make $ selling to some idiot.

I bought the mower new in 2009. I changed the oil regularly and keep the mower and engine clean and store it in my garage when not in use. It has only 160 hours on the machine. The motor is blowing blue smoke and it is consuming oil. I checked a few mower forums and they say the Kohler Courage engine is a throw away when it goes bad. Most shops wont work on it. I should have researched it before buying it. Its too bad, the mower is in still excellent condition. And a new engine would cost me 60% of what I paid for the machine new. I ordered a new Husky Zero Turn mower with a Kawasaki engine.

I bought a garden tractor (Husqvarna 54 in cut) last year and with only 22 operating hours on it, it broke the belt for the cutting deck. It was not due to wear, the break was a clean break. At the time of the failure, the mower was sitting on a asphalt driveway and was not even cutting. Husqvarna says they will not replace it after 30 days. We bought this tractor partly due to the excellent warranty. Now we find out the warranty is so exclusive that we will probably never be able to use it. Never buying another Husqvarna!

I have or I should say had a Rider Model # YTH23V48. I bought it in Butler, MO 64730, from Young sales and repair. I bought it off of the showroom floor and paid more than I thought it was worth. I was dissatisfied from day one. It didnt have half of the deck clearance I was use to and it didnt serve my needs well at all. Previously I owned a Sears Craftsman mower, which was smaller horsepower and cutting width. That mower was ten times the Husqvarna was. It had twice the deck clearance and ran well for well over 14 years. When I went to get it repaired, I was offered to look over the New mowers at Youngs sales and service. I did not trade my craftsman in and left it there for repair and after several inquiries and two years later, I found that it was sold out from under me.Needless to say, I forced him to pay me for it. Bottom line is, after owning the Husqvarna for less than 3 years I am still paying for it and it now has a blown engine or so I have been told by Extreme Motors, the new Dealer in Butler, MO. Guess what? Their service was not any better. I have had it in there for a simple blown fuse and $400.00 later it had the wrong ignition put in, with no safety features anymore and they cut my headlight wires to stop the blown fuse problem. I gave them a piece of my mind just like I had given Youngs Sales. May I suggest that you make a better mow, along the lines of Craftsman or John Deere and do not let an unskilled shop operate in Butler furthermore. I am totally done with any Husqvarna product from here on and am seriously considering suing the company. That mower was a piece of junk from the start! I would also like to add that all I have is the card last four on which I am still paying ** and model number # Model # YTH23V48. I believe this company should reimburse each and every customer for whatever Husqvarna product they were unlucky enough to purchase. Absolutely terrible products and even worse service!

In August 2014 we purchased the Husqvarna Riding Mower YT54LS. We used the machines two seasons and by March and October 2015 we had the problems: 4 flanges for front wheel had to be replaced after 2 seasons of use. (They were greased). 2 wheels on the deck were cracked and broken and had to be replaced. 3 of the latches on the grass collector broke and had to be replaced. The lettering for height indicator is totally erased.Husqvarna Corporate refused to pay for replacement parts. These parts we considered defective and/or manufactured incorrectly. They did not examine the parts and just arbitrarily said it was due to improper maintenance. We mow 4 acres, we keep parts greased and we keep the mower clean and in the garage. After the denial we purchased 4 flanges/ bearings for the front tire, wheels for the deck and new latches for the grass collector. Too many problems indicate an inferior machine.

This is our 3rd summer of trying to cut our lawn with this piece of junk Husqvarna calls a lawnmower. It has been nothing but a pain in our side. First, it was assembled incorrectly (whether from mfg or Lowes) and in trying to work through all the numerous issues we have had with this lawnmower has my husband discovered the errors in assembly - tires were dry rotted from the start, replaced with wrong wheel by Lowes, parts put on backwards, now, on and on... And, now, it is choking out so bad we can barely get through the yard. He has completely cleaned and reassembled the carburetor, replaced parts, tires, blades, on and on and we still have problems with this mower. Buyer beware - pass over this brand - youll do yourself a favor. We cant afford to buy another one and dont have the clear conscience to pass this POS on to another poor soul trying to have a nice yard we can at least mow!

After reading the other reviews, I see, we are not the only ones with complaints. At $3.69 a gallon and at least an acre to cut, I have to go over the lawn at least 2 times to get it cut even, and even then, it looks bad. Our old Sears cuts better than our newer Husqvarna. We heard we were getting good quality, but apparently not. We, too, purchased new blades and had the machine adjusted, but plain and simple, it does not cut well. We are really disappointed.

We have had nothing but trouble with the front axle on our Husqvarna lawn tractor. The dealer we purchased it from wont do anything because Husqvarna wont do anything. Husqvarna keeps saying it is something weve done, not their product. They said they had never had any other complaints. Definitely not true, complaints are everywhere about them.

The local Husqvarna dealer was offering a $50 rebate on the lawnmowers, so I purchased one. I initially got a letter back that said I hadnt sent in the warranty card along with the rebate (which I did). After going back to the dealer and asking him to sort it out, about 2 months later, I received a $30 rebate, not $50 as I was promised.

Bought a 42 riding mower to replace my 12 year old Craftsman 42. The Husqvarna seemed to be stonger steel body and deck. Deck is claimed to be armored and guaranteed 10 years. This spring I did my first cut and was hosing it off and under the deflector chute the deck was tearing. Honestly the same thing happened to the Craftsman but after 10 years of use. I had to pay to have it brought to a dealer to inspect for warranty coverage (photos from me would not suffice). Dealer said I cant put in for warranty defect your blade obviously hit and tore the deck. I asked him to weld it which he did. Question is: under normal use when we all hit the rock or stick or whatever should we expect the deck to tear. Why not armor the edge of the chute like you do the edge around the base of the deck?? How does a deck fail in 10 years to be covered by the warranty? Rust? I should also warn possible buyers that the center of gravity on Husqvarnas is much higher than my Craftsman---meaning it will tip over on a grade where the Craftsman kept steady. So be careful if you feel the grade bringing you to a tipping point.

I checked out a lot of different zero turn mowers and ended up with a Husqvarna MZ 52LE. The dealer raved over the quality of construction and durability of this mower. What he didnt say was what a piece of crap this mower is with zero turning or traction. If you have any respect for your lawn as I do you will NEVER buy a Husqvarna. These mowers rip your lawn into shreds. Any time you try to turn around, the stationary tire locks and just rips a nice hole in your lawn (every time). And Lord forbid you get onto a hill and need to back up, the tires will literally just spin until you are really good and stuck, and you find yourself on many, many occasions having to get a tow strap and pull it out. My old mower (Grasshopper) never got stuck. Had I known what I know now I would never, EVER have purchased this mower!

Husqvarna 700H 22 Self-Powered Mower: Just a word of warning -- in my 63 years, this is the very worst mower that I have ever used -- ever. It was also the most expensive mower Ive owned. Bought it at Lowes this spring. It has no power. The mulching component magically SUSPENDS the cut grass inside the mower housing until the blade gets choked by too much compressed grass, and the entire mower is forcibly shut off. So very frustrating. The only way to restart the mower is to dislodge the enormous amount of compressed grass -- leaving a mountain of unsightly clods on top of your yard. No, the grass doesnt need to be wet or damp for this to happen. Heaven help you if your grass *is* a tad damp. This mower (Husqvarna 700H) simply cannot handle it. Im a nice person; in fact, this is the first negative review that Ive ever written. Ive just had enough. This review is completely honest, I have not exaggerated in any way.

No parts support at all from retailer (Lowes) or Husqvarna themselves! Do not buy this mower. Looking for trouble if you get one! Mine has been silently sitting for over a month now waiting for someone to manufacture a steering shaft for it.

My Husqvarna blower model 125B is less than 2 years old. It quit running so I called Husqvarna to learn what I had to do to get it fixed. I took it to one of their authorized dealers for repair. When I went to pick it up, they charged me $42.08 to repair a gas line. So I called Husqvarna again and was told that gas lines were not covered and they hung up on me. I have a Stihl blower that is 7 years old and a Sears blower that is 12 years old and I never had problems with the gas line. They must be using very cheap gas lines and obviously dont care to keep me as a customer. I would never buy one of their products again and I will tell anyone I see looking at one of their products not to buy one. Buy a Stihl or anything but a Husqvarna.

I have it services every year, but Tractor lost HP within three years. It sometimes struggles to get up the 20 degree incline in my backyard. I would probably not buy this brand again.

My husband bought the chainsaw 6 months ago. The chainsaw recently blew up. The dealership kept it a month to test it and now Husqvarna says the warranty is no good because of the gas my husband was running in it which was regular gas plus he used the oil that came with the saw that they told him to use. Husqvarna this is so not right!!!!!!!!!

I bought a Husqvarna riding mower. First mowing season a bolt to the blades fell off and I noticed it would spin and get stuck easy. Had problems when it got warmed up sometimes you had to wait for it to cool off to start it again. Next year to it to a dealer and had it repaired. Long story short it had less than one hundred hours and it doesn’t like to start when hot again and the transmission went out. If you want a dependable mower and one you don’t have to fix all the time don’t buy this brand. I will never buy anything from them. Even the dealer said it was a bad model and he doesn’t sale it so Husqvarna knows it’s junk and won’t make it right.2400 dollars wasted and over 700 to fix something that will break down again.

While greasing bearings I spotted a welded piece on spindle was broke loose. In looking at my parts booklet I noticed that a washer was missing thus causing friction, breaking weld. Offered to take spindle to dealer to see. (3 min job) Dealer wanted entire mower or they would not honor warranty (2 different dealers). Finally went online roughly $50. Bought parts. Will not buy Husqvarna products again. This was factory or dealer defect. Be prepared to haul entire mower to dealer. Every time. Warranty no good.

My Father-in-Law gave this tractor to me as a gift in Dec. of 2016. I was currently using a Craftsman 20hp 24 cut that I was perfectly happy with but decided to sell it and within a couple days it was gone. Still crying. The new Husqvarna made it to 5 hours before the transmission quit. Into the shop where the owners told me they didnt know if the company would honor the warranty because I didnt purchase it. So I loaded up, took it back to Lowes where I got one run around after another until I was told it was older than 30 days. I said it only had 5 hrs on it but they refused a refund or a trade. Back to the shop which had it for almost a month before repairs were complete. Warranty did cover tranny replacement. 10 hours in the Solenoid had to be replaced. 25 hours in and all three spindles had to be replaced. Not worth the hassle to try warranty. Im at 125 hours and one of the pulleys failed to the point the bearings were falling out of it. Husqvarna is hard to get ahold of, hard to work with and want everything done in paper. Ill never own another Husqvarna product, period! And I never shop at that big box store either.

I purchased the mower several years ago for residential land mowing for fire protection. The manual does not detail the required tightening of the pulley or blade. Hence the interface material suffers. You can tighten them as much as you want but the parts still wear out. $$$$$$$$$ 1. The material used in the drive spindle spline is very strong and the pulley material is very soft, hence it easily wears out. Same with the bottom of the drive spindle where the bottom star is soft material and the blade is very STRONG, hence the spindle wears out quickly. $$$$$$$$ 2. ZERO customer support. I have left a total of 5 requests over the years to contact the factory and the common response is, thank you and a factory representative will contact you in 1-2 business days. NEVER HAPPENED. Last request was in mid May, NADA.I can fix my problem because I have the experience and tools to do so. HOWEVER, any lay person is at the mercy of the poor customer service and expensive replacement parts cost. My hope was to communicate with the factory as to the problems I have been subject to and wanted to offer engineering solutions. They seem to not care!!!!

Crank, no start at times. Starter drive does not engage the flywheel. When finally engages engine barely runs blowing black and gray smoke! Seems to be run on one cylinder. ONCE ENGINE FINALLY CLEARS OUT RUNS GOOD! Tractor stored in covered location under cabin Northeastern Pa. It is 2013 w/ 52 hrs on it! It has been at Husqvarna dealer going on week 4. Been told on 3 different phone conversations that it needs starter, SHOCKER KNEW THAT WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF! Now being told it would be quicker for me to pay for it myself and fix myself than to wait for warranty to clear for authorization from Husqvarna/Kohler! Hoping the best, expecting the worst!

Blade housing fell to ground in first or second mowing; gas cap broken on delivery; headlights have had a short for several years and need to replace the wiring harness if ever mowing at night; Schroeder water flush adapter broken off blade housing; metal guide-rod for belt to activate blades, broken off; hand-brake handle broken off (interior) and replaced. 46-inch mower with 300 hours.

I bought a Husqvarna YTH22V46 riding lawn mover in Aug. 2013 and also bought the extended 3-year warranty to go with it. I use it on the average of about twice a month on a very flat, smooth terrain. The months of Nov-Feb, I did not use the mower at all since it was winter and the grass doesnt grow as fast during those months. So far, Ive had to replace the mower blades, the belt and just recently, two spindle ears. The spindle problem required the mower to be picked up and delivered back, which Husqvarna has done without a problem, and the other two problems, I took care of myself.Ive only asked Husqvarna to pay for the spindle issue since that is an obvious defect in the workmanship. My repairman agrees with that since his shop has seen three Hus. mowers very recently, all with the same spindle problem. I called Hus. and spoke to a representative who then informed me that the repairman said that I was the cause of the spindle problem and there was nothing they could do about it. This is obviously untrue b/c the repairman, whom I know, did not say such a thing and since when does a repairman tell a huge company as Hus. how to conduct business. I am really disgusted with Hus., not only for the shoddy product I was sold, but for also trying to blame their own inaction on someone else. I would not recommend buying this product or any other way do business with Hus., as I certainly will not be doing either of those in the future. I wish now that instead of buying this Hus. mower, I would have spent the $700.00 it would have taken to fix my 17-year-old Kubota. Oh well, live and learn, I guess!

My Husqvarna is a workhorse. I live on a 20-acre parcel. It has done the job over and over again. I do not know what I would do without it. I really never had a problem with it. Other than changing the blades a few times, it has never had a problem.

I recently bought a Husqvarna MZ 54 that was a left over year old model from a local dealer (not a big box store). Because it was not the current model I picked it up for $4400, which is a real bargain. I looked at all the major brands including John Deere, Gravely, Hustler, Snapper, Toro, ExMark, Cub Cadet, and Ariens. Honestly, they all seemed like quality mowers. I settled on the Husqvarna because of price and features that were only available on more expensive models. In addition, the 4 year bumper to bumper warranty is one of the best. The cut quality is fantastic. I have a little over an acre of thick, St Augustine grass. My old mower, a Husqvarna YTH24K54 tractor, just couldnt handle it, and it took me about 3 hours to get a satisfactory cut, which usually required a double cut. The ZT made a full 54 single pass perfect cut. My first cut grass was about 7 and there were no stragglers left standing, no clumping, and no windrows. I was able to get the job complete in an hour! The grass was cut even, no scalping, very fine discharge, and even a striped look. Blade speed is listed at 18,500 FPM which is among the fastest of the brands shopped. Some were as low as 16,500 and others upwards of 19,000. Blade speed is a big factor in quality and speed of cut. The seat is quite comfortable. Though not an elaborate suspension, the feel is very nice, and a ride that is not rough. The armrests and high back seat make it a comfortable ride. The deck is very sturdy and well built. Although some of the other brands had 10 Ga fabricated decks, the Husqvarna is 11 Ga but has a reinforced rim and seems quite stout. One thing I noticed is that when you step on the deck, there is no movement. Other brands, especially the Cub Cadet, moved a great deal. Access to the belts and spindles (for greasing) is simple and requires just removing the foot panel. The spindles are heavy duty cast iron and are greasable, as opposed to sealed. Deck is easily adjustable from 1.5 to 4.5 inches in 1/4 inch increments. The front casters are huge 6x13 which is great on your turf. Caster and front wheel bearings are also greaseable. 22x10 rear tires give great traction and are also kind to your lawn. There are 4 anti scalp wheels, which is comparable to other brands. The biggest plus is that the Husqvarna has the wheels supported on both sides. Most other brands just have one support arm for each wheel, which makes them much more susceptible to damage if something is hit. ZT 3100 transaxles are heavier duty than most of the mowers in this class and provide a max speed of 8.5 MPH. 5 gallon gas tank is equal to or larger than most in its class. I found I could get about 4 hours of cutting time on a full tank of gas.The Kawasaki, 24 HP V Twin provides all the power you need for heavy grass and hills. The engine starts easily and quickly and normally needs no choke. Servicing is easy with a simple threaded cap that allows draining the oil with no mess. In addition, for an engine of this size, it is not as loud as others I have looked at. My property does have a fairly large slope and some rougher areas. None of this is a problem for this mower at all. Steering is very responsive, and does take some getting used to. However, with just a bit of practice it is very easy to drive and actually makes grass cutting enjoyable. The ROPS is nice to have, though for me, was not a factor either way. However, having it does make it safer. This is a heavy machine, at 845 lbs, and quite a bit heavy than most other in its class. There are only a couple of negatives which were not an issue for me. This model does not come with lights, which quite a few of the other makes did. For me, I never cut after dark, so it was a none issue. They do have light kits available if that is something that the buyer needs. Also, the location of the parking brake is very poor, because it is on the left side, which is normally where I get off the mower, and often bump the brake off. For 21 models, this is not an issue because they have the automatic parking brake that engages when you move the steering levers out. It does not come with a hitch for towing, but they are available for about $25 and install easily. This mower is certainly a prosumer class machine, and would be quite acceptable for commercial use. It was not purchased from a big box store, so it was fully assembled and tested prior to delivery, by technicians that know what they are doing. (It also came with a full tank of gas!) I have read some negative comments regarding Husqvarna machines not purchased from a dealer, and in many cases it seems as if the issues were with assembly, or pre-delivery inspections/adjustments. With a 4 year, bumper to bumper warranty, I feel that shows a confidence in a products quality. This is a great mower and I highly recommend it.

Purchased a yth18542 this spring. Works great and runs ok. Husband is doing the fall maintenance on the rider and is not impressed with the way the rear tires are attached to the axle, a simple slip key. That cotter key is so not doing it, does not hold the wheel in place. There is 1/4 to 1/2 slope that the wheel can move on the axle, no grease zerk. Also no grease zerks on the pulleys on mower deck. Left front tire came off during cutting, outside bearing was missing and the inside bearing was broken. Had to travel 45 to 50 miles before finding a dealer that could make repairs (stopped at 2 dealers recommended by Husqvarna, no help ). Mower was purchased 1 year ago and has only 43 hours.

I bought my Husqvarna riding mower from Lowes a couple of years ago. Ive since spent as much as I paid for it in repairing it. This mower is absolute garbage. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE MOWERS. Itll be a cold day in hell before I ever, ever, ever buy a mower from Lowes or a Husqvarna product again. I hope this helps prevent someone from throwing their money away, the hassle of owning and repairing one of these movers.

I bought this to replace an old Craftsman riding mower that had served me well. This model has essentially the same body as the Craftsman so I was able to look at the old Craftsman to see why the Husqvarna was so low to the ground. The Husqvarna body is directly bolted to the rear axle while the Craftsman has a bracket that lifts the body about an inch above the rear axle. Because of this, the mower deck on the Husqvarna cant be properly adjusted. Also, when I use it to pull a broadcast spreader, the spreader is tipped forward too much and the mover deck is dragged through the grass the whole time. Ive since found many reports of this problem. Too bad I hadnt seen these reports before I bought it earlier this year.

I have a 1&1/2 yr old lawn mower and chainsaw. Neither will work after average use on my lawn and on the Brazilian peppers that invade my yard each year. Ive put a new spark plug and air filter in the mower and it still wont run. Poorly designed without a manual choke. They claimed it would start first time every time. Boy that was a lie! A simple choke would make it easier to start and the frame is rusting out horribly. After 1&1/2 yrs the chainsaw, compared to my old Homelite, is impossible to keep running. When I manage to get it running. Poorly designed chain tensioner. Impossible to get and keep the tensioner in a workable position. And it came with the manifold cover finger-tightened down and promptly fell off. Last time I buy anything with this brand name on it.

I purchased a Husqvarna 46 cut Lawnmower model #YTH21K46 on 3-12-12. Used it once and the second time I started it, gas was gushing out of the muffler. I took it back on 3-16-12 and got the same model. I used it once. The second time I used it, cut for 25 minutes and it shut off. It had the same problem, gas coming out muffler and filter compartment. The first mower failed with 1.5 hours on the engine. The second mower failed with 1.7 hours on the engine. My yard size is 1.5 acres.

I see a lot of complaints about theses tractors; Ive had exactly the opposite experience. I put 550 hrs on my tractor on my farm in Oklahoma before any problems. I worked it hard and am finally upgrading to a new gearbox which should make it last many more years.

Husqvarna 173cc 21 Kohler Rear Bag Rear Propelled Lawn Mower - Ive had this mower for 2 1/2 years. It was purchased in the middle of summer 2011. It did not last from June until October and I had to take it in for service. I replaced the Carb 6 months later; first time mowing after winter, I replaced Carb again. It was not under warranty this time so it cost me $140. It didnt LAST the summer and I had to pay to rebuild the Carb. Today, the first time mowing this year, I have to take it in to REPLACE THE CARB. And yes, I have used Sta-Bil in the gas. Do yourself a favor. STAY AWAY from Husqvarna.

Bought a dealership model Husqvarna GTH26V52LS two years ago. Had several problems with it the first season. Now at the beginning of season 2 1/2 with 7 months of promised warranty left, they tell me my transaxle Hydro-Gear is leaking and it is a sealed unit and a new one is $1287.65. This is a mower that spends its down time in a heated air conditioned shop. It has only 132 hours on it. No I did not run over a truck or stump or something, it just puked all the oil out while setting over the winter. As usual, my local no service dealer could not help and Husqvarnas no service personnel said sorry and the manufacturer said its out of warranty. Seems that everything on the mower from the air in the tires to the paint job has a 3-year warranty but of course the hydro-gear has a two-year warranty. Stay away from Husqvarna as they are quick to sell you a product but they do not know you once you walk out the door.

Their throttle cable breaks the plastic where the screw is going to come out. The weed trimmer has two pieces and the bottom piece always comes off. I would recommend anybody who wants new equipment to not buy Husqvarna by steel. They don’t even help their customers. Every time I call they laugh in your face. The model is 128LD hey pile of junk. On top of that I spent $220.00 on 10-22-2018 and it’s even still under warranty.

Model YTH2454 riding mower. One month and one week after warranty is done the mower decides it wants to have the rear axle separate (break) away from the rest of the mower and roll down my driveway unstoppable. I could have died that day. Called them about it and they say I need to call an authorized dealer to have it looked at to see if it can be fixed at my cost. They also say there is no recall and that there is no problem of their fault because the warranty has run out.

We bought this lawnmower for personal use on our 3.75 acres. The first year, we had no issues. Year two, the blades came flying off while in use and someone could have been killed. The plastic pieces that hold the blades on are useless. We had to spend $300 on replacement parts and blades. Husqvarna would not respond to any of our inquires. Year three is turning out to be again this year on first use, flying blades. We again shelled out $300 on replacement parts. As soon as the parts came and were installed we made two passes in the yard and the water pump and vacuum hose went! Spent $200 to replace those and now the damn thing won’t go 100ft without shutting off and not restarting. I’ve had it! Husqvarna will not respond to any emails, calls, FB messages or posts. This mower has less than 200 hrs on it and it sits useless in my yard. Everyone I talk to says to scrap it as it not worth fixing.

Lets start off with I bought the hu775h push mower rear wheel drive. Start out fine used it for two months. The next year went to cut grass and the drive handle breaks in half. Lowes wouldnt replace it nor would the dealer. They told me I should have bought the extended warranty. Then this year the front wheels drop to the ground, cant push it. Undoubtedly there are plastic bushings holding the front axle and one side broke, cant get a part so the dealer tells me. I guess the only thing made in USA is the motor. The rest made in plastic from God only knows where. 400 dollars of junk and probably havent use this heap of junk no more than 25 times. The only reason yall keep making this crap out of plastic is because you know it will tear up and you just want people to spend more money. And yall call yourself American made built to last. When it should be called American junk, please waste your money and make us richer. What a joke your product is. Should have bought at Walmart. Last longer than this junk.

Walk Behind Mower HU 800AWDX BBC. Purchased mower July 18th. Used once on front yard and it did okay. Used on backyard and right rear wheel lever used to raise and lower height became disengaged and loose. Cant use the mower. $649.00...down the tubes. Lowes wont take it back and Husqvarna says it is not their issue. Can repair for $475.00 plus the cost of pick-up.

I purchased a Husqvarna AWD675 push lawn mower on 03/23/14 from Lowe’s and it started on the first pull after adding oil and gas. The mower worked fine for the first five months but it will not crank now, 09/15/14. I called the customer service number in the Husqvarna manual and I was placed on hold for approximately 30 minutes. The customer service representative informed me that this problem should be under warranty and she gave me the information of an authorized repair shop that honors Husqvarna warranties. I took the mower to the authorized repair shop and the repairman told me that the carburetor needs cleaning and this is not under warranty. The air filter still looks new and my yard is about 1/3 of an acre and I never let my grass get very high so the mower has not had an extraordinary strain on the engine. The repairman told me that it will cost approximately $60 to clean the carburetor. I am very displeased with this mower and I will never buy another Husqvarna product; I had a Yard Machine brand mower before this one that lasted 11 years.

My husband and I purchased a Husqvarna YT H2042 20.0 gross horsepower 540 cc Briggs & Stratton engine riding lawn mower from Lowes in our neighbor town. We thought we were purchasing a good quality mower, but we were wrong. We purchased with a 0 interest for 18 months and before we had it paid off the problems started. The mower would not pull itself - totally stopped. First repair cost $400.00 - the valve was bad. That repair lasted about two weeks. Took it back to the repairman. The mower would not start - starter was bad. Another $400.00 repair bill. Asked why all the problems, answer was mowers just arent made like they were. That repair lasted about 6-7 months. The mower would not start or move again. Took it to a different repair place another $350.00 repair. The starter, battery (which we were told was the wrong size for the mower but was the same that came on it), belts were bad and the engine was making a noise. This repair lasted again about 6 months. The mower stopped pulling itself and the engine sounded terrible. Fourth repair cost $498.00 the engine had moved around some way and the belts were bad again, the starter was bad again, the engine mounts had to be drilled out and reweld so everything would line up correctly. We have cables laying on the cutting deck from rewiring repairs. Again it lasted about 6 months and now we have a mower setting in the garage that will not pull itself again. Very very bad product. The warranty covers nothing. Lowes needs to stop selling these products.

Lawn tractor, Husquvarna YTH 22K24 - It was very difficult to start at first, but we eventually got it to go. First used it May 2015. Its blowing smoke/oil. Terrible fumes and smell when we start it up. Its also extremely noisy! We had a Craftsman for years with no problems. Very disappointed. Would not recommend anyone buy Husqvarna!

First of all, I wish there was a choice of no stars (if you know what I mean) but since I have to, I will put 1 star. Last year, we purchased a Husqvarna lawn tractor YTH24k48. The battery had to be boosted off every time we used it. The tire went flat almost immediately. I bought this for my fiance (I wish now I would have purchased a John Deere). We have about an acre of flat yard to mow. For all of you who are insinuating that complainers here dont know what they are doing regarding operating a rider, thats hogwash. We have done all maintenance as is recommended in the manual (thats a positive we DID get one of those) to the specs as required oil, etc. Now the big problem: Hes on the mower mowing on flat grass and the lawn tractor starts shaking violently (we are very fortunate than no one was hurt) when suddenly he hears a big sound and he is hearing impaired. The blade falls off going into the ground making a half circle mark in the yard. We called Lowes where it was purchased (and no, for the know-it-alls, Lowes does not put them together; they remove them off a pallet and take them out of a box already assembled by the qualified Husqvarna team... not my problem). Now I called Lowes. I returned the mower to Lowes; I have owned it for 1 year 1 month so its still under warranty. Lowes sent the mower to Lanier someplace down in GA who of course works for Husqvarna. They have had the mower since May 15th; in a few days, it will be 4 weeks. Meantime grass is not getting shorter. Rider has been used a total of maybe 6 times mowing flat grass with nothing to hit. Now we are being told that the blade falling off is not a warranty issue (luckily he was not injured or we would have another issue). I dont know about you but I dont believe blades should just fall off any mower much less a $2000 mower used so little. Husqvarna mechanics, I am hearing through Lowes, are stating in their diagnostics report that the lawnmower hit something. The only possibility of anything being hit would have been a clump of grass, a small stick, or possibly though not likely a small rock of which none should make the blade fall off and so violently. We are waiting for a return call from Husqvarna (they have not returned my calls and when I call them, I am put on hold for long periods of 30 minutes or more). There is no customer service from Husqvarna. Lowes corporate office customer service has called me and appears genuinely nice but is he really concerned? We will see. I am waiting. We know many people that would be prospective buyers of Husqvarna lawnmowers. If I have anything to say about it, I will be sure to sway them away from these horrible products. I wish that I had found this site before purchasing such a piece of crap. Oh and by the way, I also purchased a Husqvarna push mower style weedeater. It worked great for a few weeks and suddenly quit and will not crank or anything so thats next to go back. Im not feeling good about any of this due to the way things have been handled so far. What happened to good ole fashioned customer service? Husqvarna is willing to lose potential customers and many sales rather than admit to poor quality and spend a little to fix their shoddy products. Buyers beware, steer way clear of Husqvarna products especially lawn mowers. Im very angry and disappointed.

The thin bar one pulls up to engage the blade broke the first time my husband used the mower. The dealer ordered a new part, which took over a week to arrive. Within 20 minutes of me using the mower, the part broke again. Were taking it back to the dealer and hoping for a refund.

I have owned a Husqvarna Riding Mower LGT 2654 for 3 years and have had a number of problems with this product. First, I had problems with the Lowes in Gonzales, LA giving away my owners manual. Long story short, they had 2 mowers, one was outside and one inside. The manual outside was soggy wet. Both mowers sold on the same day but I had to get a trailer to get mine home. When I picked mine up later in the day, there was no manual. My real problem is with the mower. In the first year, I had to replace the deck belt once, excessive backfiring, and the engine stopped running. I discovered the push rods for the intake and exhaust valves came loose. Forget using the warranty - it took 3 months to get them to even look at it. I made the repairs myself. In the 2nd year, you better own a welding machine, deck wheel brackets x3 , replaced deck belts x2, deck adjustment rod fell off and went under the mower. The deck bent a blade and destroyed the rod. I replaced blades and rod. Now we are early in year 3 and I have cut about 8 times. I had to replace the spindle for the left deck pulley 2 weeks ago and yesterday I replaced the deck belt for the 3rd time this season (belt # 6). It still backfires but not as bad as before I made repairs to the push rods. As for the headlights, they are just for looks. What a joke. This mower has never had the power that I expected and it has never had an even cut. My old Murray had more power and cuts better. I just cant get parts anymore. I will never purchase another Husqvarna. If you choose to purchase one, you better be a mechanic, welder, and electrician. As for the couple of people who claim to have had no problems because they take such good care of their mower, well, mine got washed, oil changed, greased, and checked as required by the owners manual (once I got one). So consider yourself lucky.

Front wheels fell off because of weak clips after 12 months mowing regular sized lawn. Charged me for repair as stated not covered by warranty. Well you wouldnt cover badly designed rubbish like this with a warranty or you would go out of business. After 18 months axle on rear right tyre broke, guess what their response was. Never buy this crap brand again.

I bought this Husqvarna 42xls in Sep. of 2012. It has 120 hr. on. It started burning up belts. Went through 3 new belts before carrying in to the dealer for repairs. Said it would be 10 days to two weeks before it would be ready. Two weeks pass did not hear from them. Just went in to check on it. And it was push in the back of the shop. Said they could not get a hold of me. The case on the trans. was cracked on both sides. I had made a power hatch and installed it on the back. They took one look at it and that was the cause the problem. They say the belt was out under the mower that the tram and frame is connected to was not hooked up. I told them it never was but they did not believe me. So what good does it to buy a warranty.

Right after purchase, had a rear tire that wouldnt stop leaking air. Turned out to be a defective rim that wouldnt hold air. This should have been a warning to me what poor quality Husqvarna mowers are. After 1 year of mowing, the frame broke right where the transmission/rear wheel assembly mounts. The dealer said they had never seen this before but that Husqvarna had a kit for this problem. Right away, you know that this is a known problem if there is a kit. So after one month without a mower, got the kit installed and thought the problem was over. No, the nightmare of owning a Husqvarna mower continued. Another year and another break in the frame, this time right beside where the kit mounts. This time the dealer had the mower for 6 weeks and then told me that Husqvarna wouldnt fix it. They said it had been misused. What a joke! Misused must mean mowing a standard lawn. I guess my old Craftsman mower which mowed that same lawn for 15 years without a problem had never heard that mowing was misuse for a riding lawn mower. Needless to say, I am disgusted with the local dealer and with Husqvarna. They are still selling this piece of junk. This is a known problem, with many people reporting the same thing. If they had any integrity they would have issued a recall. So anyone thinking of purchasing a riding mower... stay clear of Husqvarna... Their customer service is terrible and they dont support what they sell.

To start, I work at Lowes on the Assembly Department. I know what youre thinking, but trust me, I hate working there more than you hate the store. From my experience, Husqvarna is a bad brand. They arrive pre-built, all I do is cut 4 sides of a box and roll the mowers off a pallet and into the parking lot for a 30 second test run to make sure it starts, goes forward, backward, blades engage and the brakes work. Then, it sits until the gas burns empty and it goes out to be sold. That being said, I am the one, at least at my store, who goes over the mower before it leaves for repair and I can tell you now your problems are not uncommon at all. On average, 1 out of 4 will have a flat tire before I can even test drive it. Another 1 out of 8 will be back with a bad tire the first month of use. Then theres the rotting tire issue you could face (I actually got an email that in short, said Husqvarna tires are fine. If you have people, who claim to have rotting tires, its not our fault. But because they claim its a problem, we will replace them if they ask.). If you make it through that phase, 1 in 10 will have a fuel/carb issue that needs to be addressed in the 1st year. If you have a 46in Husqvarna, check it out. They had to recall them for a gas issue this spring (2012). If you have a chainsaw, its realistically 1 in 2 that has a fuel issue (fuel line or cap or primer bulb). 1 in 8 have a chain slip problem with their saws. About the same number, 1 in 8 have issues with transmission/transaxle problems on mowers. Ive seen decks fall off, welds snap, the steering wheel is never aligned correctly with the front wheels and cant be adjusted easily. Thats just the things I can remember right now at the moment. I wont even start on the push mower and Poulan Pro stuff thats produced by them. Now for those who get pissed at Lowes, you should. This is something that you should be. If we treat you like **, tell them you want to speak to a district manager to file a complaint or do it online (it affects the bonus payout of the store manager and above so they get all annoyed and do anything possible to try and fix the problem). Those who claim that Husqvarna isnt at fault for using 3rd party products under their brand are only kidding themselves. Husqvarna is essentially making a claim that they manufacture quality products. If they believe this claim, they should use quality material. Saying its the transmission companys fault doesnt address the reality that someone at Husqvarna chose that company to partner with that product.
I bought a new Husqvarna Zero turn Model RZ5426. I bought this larger scale
I bought a new Husqvarna Zero turn Model RZ5426. I bought this larger scale because I have about 2 acres to mow. It has just over 4 hours on the machine. It has been in the shop more than it has been at my home. The first thing I never liked is they cut sloppy cut. I figured I could buy better blades, not a big thing. First time I was mowing this summer, I broke of a blade bracket. I ran over tree branch, not big by no means, but it broke it off in many pieces. I had that repaired and after trying it again, I broke another bracket off in less than an hour. And after talking to the Husqvarna dealer, all they said was it was a common problem. I got that back home and began using it and I noticed a lot of deck noise. After checking things out, I found a belt pulley completely worn off. I checked the others and they are all very badly worn, as well as the teeth on the blade brackets. So now, the dealer is basically rebuilding my deck I only have 4 hours on it. I have tried calling Husqvarna customer service all they do is make a report and send it to this so called Army Answer group whos supposed to handle their complaints and answer questions. I have left 3 questions with them and not one has been answered yet. Have left a bad review of the model of mower I have and that was rejected. I have not gotten any reply back from Husqvarna and am very angry with all the problems Im having. I believe its a flaw in the mover or very cheap parts. I do know that the pulleys are made out of very cheap extremely thin metal. I cant see how that would last at all. Every time I take it back, all they can do is replace the crap with the same cheap junk they had in the first place. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. If I could find stronger parts that would fit this deck, I would spend the money. All I know is Husqvarna will not stand behind this product at all. I cannot find any emails for Husqvarna. All they have is Answer Army which is a complete joke. If you have any idea what I can do, please let me know.
I recently purchased a Husqvarna self-propelled mower from the local dealer
I recently purchased a Husqvarna self-propelled mower from the local dealer. I could have gone to Lowes and gotten a slightly lower price, but why not? I thought I would get better service all around from a certified dealer. Boy, was I wrong. I brought the mower home and first off, it is way too heavy for a 70 year old man. The drive is jerky. The mower gets stopped by any irregularity in the yard. I end up raising the back and moving the wheels so it can get traction. What a pain. Well, after talking with the dealer I purchased from and an hour-long talk with Husqvarna customer service, bottom line is I cant trade it for another more appropriate model. I am stuck with this piece of junk. I should have gone to Lowes. I could have taken it back and left with something that worked. This is my sixth Husqvarna product and my last.

I purchased a Husqvarna 775L. After ten times using the mower, it would not start. I called Husqvarna and they gave me two contacts to look at the mower. I contacted both parties and neither one of them renewed their contract with Husqvarna because Husqvarna does not stand behind their product. Neither does Lowes. I made several phone calls to Lowes and they basically said too bad, nothing we can do. But they still sell the poor product. Husqvarna does not stand behind their warranty. They like to use the excuse of bad gas or if it is not a manufacturer defect then they wont cover it. Now, keep in mind, my motor is actually made by Briggs & Stratton so I called them as well. The bottom line is that my issue was a bad carburetor caused by bad gas. I have seen and read several complaints about the same problem. I loaded up my mower and had to drive an hour to a repair shop that is covered under Husqvarnas warranty. It cost me $130 to have a new carburetor installed due to bad gas, the person I pay to mow my lawn every week, $40, the time spent on the phone receiving pathetic customer service from Lowes and Husqvarna and the gas I used hauling my POS Husqvarna mower to different places to see who could fix it.These products are not worth the time or money and as for Lowes, I havent stepped a foot back in one of their stores. Menards has become my favorite place to shop now. DO NOT BUY HUSQVARNA PRODUCTS. THEY ARE A PIECE OF JUNK!!!! By the way, anyone want to buy a mower? I will give you a good deal and sell you mine. I am off to Menards to spend more money with them. Too bad Lowes, you need to work on your poor customer service practices.

DO NOT BUY ANY HUSQVARNA products. They are inferior machines. I purchased a YTH23V48 riding lawn mower 1 year ago. It has 27 hours on it and has been in the shop 4 times!!! Will not cut even and doesnt vacuum up the grass properly (purchased 3 bag system as well) so I have to cut the grass twice to get all the clippings. Waste of time and $$. Paid over $2K for this machine; deck was replaced which they said was bent. Put 3 sets of blades to no avail with 3 deck alignments, the crazy thing is to ONLY make right turns when cutting ridiculous so as not to leave grass clippings everywhere.

We purchased the 24 HP 54 cut Husqvarna lawn tractor last fall 2013. Every time we mow the lawn, we have to scrape the deck with a putty knife to clean the grass that builds up while cutting the grass. We have had to stop cutting the lawn because the deck packs up with lawn grass clippings. This has been a continuous problem since we bought it. We have taken it back to the dealership and they changed the blades, put on gator blades and even tried mowing themselves and still it builds up under the deck. They let us use a brand new zero turn and it too had to be cleaned. The deck is poorly made and Husqvarna does nothing to help you.. It is under warranty and I am sure they WILL do something about this problem.

I bought HU700F lawn mover from Lowes in August 2014 and within a year its hard starting. I took it to their local dealer and after work he charged me saying its not under warranty and I need to call Honda as engine is from Honda. This is a shocking news. I need to call two different companies for warranty. Thankfully they dont make cars, otherwise they will ask me to call over 100 vendors who supply parts to car companies. This is totally not acceptable and I feel its cheating as they should clearly advertise about two different warranties. I think this company as well as their products are substandard.

Husqvarna chainsaw 240 - I got this chainsaw at LOWE’S, and it started. I cut 3 pieces of wood. Then I was not able to start it, and once I did, it did not stay running. And I kept restarting it according to instructions provided, but it just kept dying. And I have experience with chainsaws, so I know what choke is and how to start and operate it. But this one, once it warmed up, just kept quitting. I also checked the tension of chain and used proper gas-oil mixture. Stay away from this chainsaw.

Ever since Ive had this Husqvarna 55C21HV mower the left rear wheel has failed to drive more often than not. Dealer failed to fix problem so being a field engineer for over 40 years I took it upon myself to clean and deburr the pawl assy and all associated parts. This helped slightly. I then e-mailed the USA distributor and never got a response. The only good thing in this mower is the Honda engine which runs flawlessly like all the other Honda engines I have had.

We bought our Husqvarna snowblower on 1-27-14. We purchased it from Fleet Supply in Sauk Centre, MN. Our snowblower worked ok for the most part. It wasnt the quality we thought it would be. When our son was snowblowing 10 days ago he checked the oil and fluid was running out on the floor. We immediately took it to Fleet Supply in Sauk Centre, MN as we had bought it there and they are an authorized Husqvarna repair shop. When we dropped our snowblower off on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Ralph said it would be done within 24 hours as he had to empty his shop each day. My husband said to take his time and do it right. Ralph quoted us $20.00. I wasnt ok with that as it should have been under warranty. I called on Thursday to see what was up. Ralph was very short with me and said he hadnt had time to get to it. On Saturday I called 3 times with no return call. Ralph finally called back and said he didnt want to call back as I was rude to the cashiers. Ralph isnt doing his job and it is suddenly my fault! Get a grip! He said he had to order a part. The repair was now going to be $70.00 to fix. He didnt plan on calling us to let us know that as he is just too busy. I simply wouldnt have paid it. It should have been warranty anyway. When my husband picked up the snowblower on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 they blamed us for the issue. They said we didnt put stabilizer in the gas and it broke down. I think he said the carburetor was stuck. We always put stabilizer in our equipment. Then the buyer from Husqvarna was there. He got loud and mouthy with my husband. This should have been a warranty repair plain and simple. Mr. Husqvarna said it was up to him and he said it wouldnt be covered without testing anything. I would NEVER buy anything from Fleet Supply again and I would not buy a Husqvarna. It isnt our fault it had a faulty carburetor. The people at Fleet Supply were absolute JACK **! Todd the manager was an idiot and took no responsibility and Ralph had not idea what he was doing!

In 2006, I bought a 42 Craftsman LT3000 built by Husqvarna. It has the single cyl. Briggs 20HP Intek Plus I/C motor and Hydr. trans. I mow 3 large yards with it. Once I ride my mower 5 blocks to get to pull a wagon holding a push mower and trimmers etc. In 7 years, here’s what’s been done other than oil/greased/filters/sharp blades each season.First issue at 4 years old: In 2010, I replaced deck belt - squealed in damp grass/still cuts but was annoying. In 2011 replaced blades with Gator Mulch blade. Wish I done it when it was new. Great blades cut much better than OEM! In 2012, I replaced the battery. In 2013, changed right front tire out – it kept leaking – That’s it! It’s been a wonderful mower and has never leaked/used any oil.1) I keep grass off its deck because that shortens belts/pulley life. 2) I remove the battery and battery tray at the end of every season to charge and clean grass away from fan on top of rear end because grass buildup blocks air and over heats hydro rear ends. Did you know there’s a fan under your butt? It’s not to dissipate farts… LOL. 3) I grease all steering gears/axle zerks and change oil every spring or fall. 4) Turn gas off and run carb dry every fall to keep gas from gumming up in carb. 5) I keep tires aired up.This is all Ive ever done to keep my Husqvarna going... It’s really all maintaining the mower. Grass buildup can cost one a lot of money in repairs. It’s very important to clean it off your deck/hydro. I have a friend who has the LT2000 model a few years older than mine. He was surprised I had to replace the deck belt. He still has his original belts on his after 10 years or more. But like I said, it still cuts fine. It annoyed me squealing in damp grass. I cut grass early morning its cooler.I know Kohlers had cracked blocks. They started making their motors in China years ago. Ive had Briggs and Kawasaki. I prefer Kawasaki but the wife and wallet makes me buy the Briggs. It’s been a fantastic mower and Id buy another one like it in a flash... shocked to see so many bad issues on them here. I also have a Husqvarna weed eater (Lowe’s) that Ive used 3 years now without a failed start on 2nd-3rd pull. Runs great! Hope I helped someone?BTW: Cracked frames you read about. It’s usually from larger riders riding them up ramps loading them in trucks/trailers. It happens to about every brand of mower. If you’re big, say 225+ lbs, do not ride mowers up the ramp. Push it up! A JD dealer told me that years ago when I owned one of those. JD, now those are problem mowers… $$$.

Just received my second HUSQVARNA chainsaw. My first one is a Rancher 455. First time using it oil leaked out the bottom. We work on all of our own equipment so we tore it down and found the flexible oil supply line hose had a hole in it. We obtained a replacement part locally and fixed it. Great saw, cuts great. It sucks to have to repair a brand new saw. Today I received my second HUSQVARNA saw a T435 14 inch. Filled it with gas and oil, tried it out and guess what. Right oil running out the bottom. Tore it down and again a big split in the oil supply line. Again we have to fix a brand new saw. Went to HUSQVARNA website to try to contact them and nowhere is there any way to email them. So I will wait til Monday to get a replacement part. I have attached a photo of the split hose. Very disappointed in HUSQVARNA quality control and lack of ability to contact them.

Within 2 months of owning a Husqvarna 46 inch zero lawn mower, it stopped going forward. With 1.5 months of owning a Husqvarna AWD push mower, it stopped cranking. I took it back to Lowes and was advised that it had to be placed in the shop. Well, the shop returned the mower and stated that the carb was clogged and the starter cord was damaged. This is not covered under warranty. I took my push mower to a local dealer and learned that it needed a new coil. The dealer replaced the coil and the mower started right up. My Husqvarna hedge trimmer stop working after owning it 3 months. The gas line had deteriorated, and of course it was not covered under the warranty. Im done with Lowes and the Husqvarna products.

Husqvarna Model GTH2448T. 24hp 48 cut. 173 hours. Garaged and serviced annually. Mower will move forward on level ground, but slows to a stop on inclines. No warranty. Service center recommends new rear end. $800.00 repair. Worthless!

I bought a Husqvarna Lawn Tractor lgt2554. My mower deck lasted about 6 months. I have to buy a used 1. I also bought the SNOW PACKAGE. My problem is that I went out to plow about 6-8 inches of snow last week and the right rear axle broke off. This is first time that I used this snow blade. I was on this machine about 5 minutes and the right rear axle broke. I called Husqvarna and explained what had happened. They told me that they buy different and assemble them. They had me call Tuff Torq - this is the company that purchases these rear axles for Husqvarna. The lady from Tuff Torq stated that Husqvarna builds these tractors with light duty rear axles. The manager stated that Husqvarna should have put bigger rear axles on these and that have had numerous complaints. I talked with VAN at Husqvarna he is the manager- they sent me to three repair facilities and everyone stated that this rear axle was too light for snow plowing. Then Husqvarna refused to repair my tractor.Im going down to Detroit Michigan in two weeks and Im going to meet with a large law firm. When I called the law firm for some information, they stated in the Consumers Reports that Husqvarna has a 1 1/2 approval rating on a 5 scale. The attorney asked that I call Husqvarna one more time for them to send me a new axle or for them to pay for repair of this tractor. Then he stated that he was going to check if he can start a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against Husqvarna.

I brought a zero turn mower and the second time I mowed my yard a spring broke a pulley broke and the deck belt was ruined. I took it to the dealer and it took 2 and 1/2 months to get it back. I had to pay for all the parts and the labor. I will not recommend this product.

I have an old push mower from ~2010 with the blade brake and everything including a Honda motor. Just this last year, a few parts have started to wear out like the cables. It should be simple, cheap fixes, but Husqvarna has a lot of plastic parts and have discontinued producing many of them. This has left me with a mower that runs well, cuts well, and works well, but due to a single $15 cable the mower is trash (or I am left with some bad DIY fix). This mower has been a beast, so reliable and dependable and has performed well beyond expectations, but I never imagined I wouldnt be able to replace a simple $15 cable after 10 years... Im probably off to Toro where they keep running for 20+ years and parts are still available.

I have a Husqvarna mower that is only 3 1/2 years old... Only has 125 hours, garage kept, meticulously maintained, BUT it cant move because the axle broke. This mower cost $2500.00 approx. and will cost $1,000.00 to repair... Husqvarna Answer Army claims that only about 50 axles have broken but the internet is loaded with complaints about this happening, sometimes twice to the same customer with the same mower. My repairman says you can see that the product was defective and that caused the weakness. All of these claims over the last 3 years but no recall!!!!!! THIS IS FRAUD and someone needs to do something about it. HOW ABOUT A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT, YALL.

I was mowing the lawn when suddenly between the engine and mower deck, fire broke out and the entire mower was engulfed in flames and burnt to a crisp. This was a Husqvarna model LGT 2554 riding lawn mower. I would discourage anyone to stay clear of them.

I bought the Husqvarna Brand 125B leaf blower thinking I was buying quality, but I was awakened by the fact that this company doesnt stand by their product, and that the leaf blower I bought is pure junk. I used it 4 times for my small yard, at periods of less than 10 minutes each time (estimated), and the blower stopped functioning. I tried to return it to Home Depot, but it was past their 90 day return policy. Home Depot recommend I take the blower to my nearest dealer, which I did, but, they were 12 weeks out. Meaning they couldnt work on it until then. So, my dealer told me to call Husqvarna to see if they could return it. Husqvarna said no, but they could recommend another repair shop about 50 miles away. I will never ever buy anything from this company again. The dealer happens to be a small local outfit which cannot keep up the demand of bad product from Husqvarna. This is what they told me, and after buying this piece of crap, I believe them. I recommend buying another brand!

Husqvarna Zero Turn Mower 4 years old and garbage. I am currently working on this thing and have since the first day I bought it. Just like some of the vehicles on the road today, there shouldve been a recall on this thing. Hydraulics are terrible due to weight distribution, any small grade going downhill you better get ready to bail, it cannot hold its own weight. Broke the casting on the handle second time using it. Tension pull keeps bending and had to add reinforcements. As for the motor, Briggs and Stratton do not make em like they use to. Kills all the mosquitoes for sure. Bent the push rods. Three other people that I know went and bought the same mower. All four of these machines broke the muffler off. Had to replace the stator. Just all and all I shouldve bought a Grasshopper. Dont waste your money.

DONT BUY THIS MOWER!!!! Poor design. Put blades to close to roof of the deck and grass sticks and builds. While it compresses it hardens... It does not throw the grass out from under the deck! We bought one last summer and the grass sticks to the underside ceiling of the mowing deck, causing serious damage to the bearings and belt. Now I have to jack it up. Get underneath, take a ridged 3 putty knife after every other use and chisel out hardened (Concrete like) grass clippings. It is not an easy chore for anybody to do. You should not have to do this every 2 weeks after spending 3 grand on a mower.

Husqvarna ZTR mower only 2 weeks old has lost tension on the deck idler pulley. I called to get some information on how to fix this and they could only send me to service shops many miles away. They had no desire or ability to let me have the technical service information to fix this trivial problem; rather, they want to direct me to expensive service and much cost for transport. This is beyond lousy service. Every lawnmower owner should be able to get decent technical service documents.

I purchased a 122c weed trimmer midway through the last summer season. I decided on this unit, because it seemed like it was made for much more than would be needed for my yard. I wanted something that was going to last. I even bought the overpriced Husqvarna canned fuel mixture. I didnt want any problems. The unit stopped working in August of this year. My guess is that the 122c was used 20 times. I emailed Husqvarna with no response. We had our yard equipment tuned up this fall. The tech opened the 122c up, cleaned it out. He didnt see anything out of the ordinary. He spent a half hour (and $30 of my money) on the unit with no success. I will not ever again buy a piece of equipment manufactured by this company. Caveat Emptor.

Ive bought two of these mower (Husqvarna yth24k48) in the past ten years and always had problem from the day I got it. Fuel line went out and the oil line wasnt install properly after 5 year of the newest one. I have the transmission went out on it. Dont buy a Husqvarna. I bought the recent one in 2012. The one had problems since day one.

Husqvarna Lawn tractor YTH22V46 - 1st. Issue: Ordered online from DR POWER EQUIPMENT. Order Confirmation from POWER EQUIPMENT PLUS on 8/11/2013. DR POWER EQUIPMENT Order has shipped on 8/13/2013. Recd packing slip from Country Home Product. 2nd. Issue: Very hard to start, struggled with it for one summer. Finally went on line to ** and found a article about starting problems on this L.T. The choke was not adjusted properly at the factory. A simple turn of the screw on the bracket which holds the cable allowing it to move freely. Jumped on and turned the key and it started right up! 3rd. Issue: After running the L.T. for about a hour on 5/15/2015 went to start and it wouldnt. Gasoline was pouring out of the manifold. Now the L.T. is at the Local Husqvarna Dealer waiting for at least two (2) weeks for a carburetor repair. Local dealer has one repair man and a two week back log of Husqvarna products. No idea what this repair will cost. They will call with estimate! My advice - buy the green one!

I wrote a letter to the Customer Service Department in North Carolina and received a response from the Husqvarna Technical Department and their response was, With your machine being out of warranty by more than a year, I will not be able to help you fully with the cost of repair. With that stated, I can alleviate the greatest cost of the repair from you by supplying you with the parts needed to get your machine operational once again. If you accept this offer I will ship them to you direct. I responded back to them with the parts that were needed (approximately $235.00) that the repair shop gave me. Within less than one week, all parts were shipped to my home address and I delivered the mower and parts to them for repair. My only cost will be for labor which was quoted to me to be about $75.00. Thank you, Husqvarna for standing by your product and for the help and assistance you gave me to rectify my problem. My faith and trust in your company has been restored and will surely pass on the word on how you stood by your product and kept me as a customer.

I bought a new garden tractor/riding mower from Husqvarna via Amazon in March 2017. Within two months it would not go into reverse. I used it as is so I could care for the 10-acre garden/lawn/orchard/vineyard I maintain until the damn thing blew up, scattering parts everywhere. It was the transmission and the clutch. Under warranty. Called Husqvarna to find a local dealer for service (I live in an extremely remote area of the US) and was referred to one some miles away who refused to service my tractor because I had not bought it from him. Called Husqvarna to report this and to see what else I could do. Turns out there was a dealer in the town closest to me, which they had failed to mention first time. It sat in the shop for weeks as we waited for parts and/or argued with Husqvarna about the warranty. Finally got it back and guess what? Two months later the transmission did the same thing: No reverse and then no forward either. It has been in the shop for weeks while we wait for parts that are back ordered or whatever is the most recent excuse. In short, out of the 17 months that I have had ownership of this equipment, I have had only 4 months of full service. I have had three garden tractors over the years and never had these kinds of problems. I will never, ever buy a Husqvarna again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Not only is the product inferior (plastic parts in a transmission?!) but the customer service is terrible. Perhaps I have a lemon (that can happen) but I will never take a chance like this again - and it cost twice what I am accustomed to paying! In truth, Id just like my money back so I can buy something that performs. And I have any number of witnesses to this so Husqvarna cannot dispute my claims.

Husqvarna 390XP chainsaw - Piston/cylinder melted during the second tank of gas. The service center could not determine the cause, but replaced cylinder and piston. After 8 more tanks of gas, the engine seized. The piston/cylinder burned up again. The service center reported a metal support between the carb and head was missing from the factory. During the first repair, the technician noticed it missing and thought they changed the design. They explained that after the saw warmed up, it would allow air to leak into the head causing the saw to run too lean and too hot. As this was a factory error, I expected an apology or a new saw, but received neither. I paid $1,100 for this factory defect saw and would be lucky to get half of that for this saw that has burned up twice. I asked for a refund or a new power head but Husqvarna would do neither. They said it would still be covered under warranty, but I would rather be cutting logs than waiting for repair service. At this point, I do not trust this saw that has been exposed to extreme heat twice and have to baby the saw or take a loss and sell it. Husqvarna did not do me right and I will never purchase a Husqvarna product again. If you are considering purchasing a Husqvarna, be forewarned.

Well, I will join the crew who unfortunately purchased a Husqvarna riding mower.. and at Lowes.. A double whammy for sure. First out of the gate with glee mowing the 1.8 acres we own. All great! Then the next time I get on to mow.. the front tires are FLAT! This has continued for two seasons and now in the third. Visited the Lowes where purchased.. nobody or even has a suggestion.. This being three weeks after purchase. They say I need to buy new wheels? LOL yeah right. They say they have no interest in helping and I should contact Husqv.. Yeah that worked.. They said go to the Lowes.. LOL Well, here we are third season.. go to the shop to get the mower spruced for Spring.. FLAT tires of course.. NEVER. NEVER again will I EVER buy Husqvarna ANYTHING or Lowes for that matter. Finished, done.. all gone. I am buying a new JD at the end of this season.. Selling off the crap and going for the gold standard. And I will shout it out to all I know, see, hear. etc.. this sucks.

Since I owned this unit, nothing but trouble. Deck welds broken 2 times. Both front tires worn out and recalled, took 4 months to get mower back under warranty. New tires on 2 weeks and rims broken in half at welds. Also new tires are wearing out again. We have a nice yard with no problems hitting things. Our front tires face outward with steering wheel centered. This as well as all my front end concerns must be related so why wont they fix it and not take so long. We are very unhappy.

This tractor is a beast when it comes to cutting and collecting grass with a clear cut 48 inch mower and high capacity grass catcher. And with a 48 inch dozer blade in the winter time it can’t be stopped plowing snow, and gravel in the spring and summertime. Well built, and was made for tough work around the yard for sure. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a garden tractor with plenty of power and eager to get the work done. A very comfortable seat I might add as well. A real pleasure to use, I always look forward to the day when I have to get on and work with it. A REAL good buy and well worth the money.

Purchased the 336fr brush cutter for $569. Used it one time for 30 minutes and engine suddenly locked up. Repair tech told me that though there is a proper fuel mixture in tank, he sees none inside. As a result, Husqvarna refuses to honor the warranty. I guess somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine the oil disappeared?! Actually, company is accusing me of running it without oil and then adding oil to fuel tank to cover up my mistake... Incredible!! I would not recommend this company to anyone... Hoping no one else out there with same experience.

Bought a Husqvarna commercial mower pz6029 zero turn mower for lawn cutting. The mower started making noise at eight hours of use under the deck. It was the spindles. The place I bought it from got it fixed for me. At 50 hours of use, the same problem again. At 100 hours, the same problem. Lets get it fixed, it ran fine for another 50 and the same noise. Im still waiting on the answer for the repair of the mower and the Husqvarna rep told me to get air plugs well. For a 11,000 machine, this is crazy. I have older machines that make no noise and work perfect with 1200 hours. This machine is a piece of junk.

I love this weed eater and its a beast but it is a specialty weed eater only sold at Lowes. This model is sold elsewhere but the one sold at Lowes has a different type air filter that is hard to find. I purchased one online that didnt work and they wouldnt refund me because I ordered it. Lowes doesnt carry the air filter nor do local suppliers. They cant even find the part. Why would Husqvarna make a product that you cant find replacement parts for. The model is 9671752-01 and the serial number is 160603045. Someone please help me find this part or at least the part number.

I purchased a new Husqvarna mower RZ 4216 on Aug. 19, 2011. It had been started before I purchased it and the belt had shredded. It was the last of the model available so I accepted it with the understanding the belt would be at my expense but the warranty would cover the installation. I took it directly for repairs, and got it back in a couple of weeks. Total cost was $140 to me. I mowed 1/2 of my yard and the belt broke again. Authorized repair facility said I should call Husqvarna. Husqvarna said the repair place must call them direct. I have now owned the mower for one month. I have used it a total of an hour. It has been another week waiting repairs. I anxiously await the cost of the repairs to me this time and the use of the mower.

I bought a new Husqvarna push mower at Sears last March. However, I have had nothing but issues with the company and mower. The mower stopped turning over. I called the helpline and they said to put high grade full in the mower. That did nothing but cost me $3.89. I took it to a required Husqvarna repair center (Eds Lawn Mover in Addison, Texas). They said that the carburetor would not be covered under the one year plan so I paid the $60.00. Two months later, the same problem. I called Eds and they said nothing they can do. I find it very interesting that the company is posting on its website how ethanol may/can damage motors. It seems like this is a widespread product issue and I would like my money back or a new mower that works.

I bought a 46 inch/24 hp lawn tractor and also purchased the three year extended comprehensive warranty. The rep told me that with the extended warranty I was almost guaranteed to have no maintenance expenses. I have found out the emphasis should have been on the word almost. In less than 1 year the machine broke down (i.e. carburetor and other parts went bad, etc.). To their credit, the service Husqvarna used did pick up the machine without charge, but that is the only positive aspect of this experience. I was told it would take more than 2 weeks before they could even look at the machine (and of course it was spring-time and the 3 acres of grass was not in a cooperative mood). After nearly a week, the rep called to tell me all that was wrong with this nearly brand new machine and was sad to inform me that nothing was covered under the extended warranty (big surprise). More than 2 weeks later and out more than $500 for repairs, I was livid. I wrote a detailed letter to Lowes, where I bought the machine and to Husqvarna. In that letter I cited provisions in the extended warranty where I was sure the repairs were covered and asked that someone contact me to set up an arbitration hearing, as set forth in the maintenance agreement. It has been more than three months now and I have not heard from either Lowes or Husqvarna. Both companies obviously have two customer service standards - pre-sale they are all smiles and supportive, post-sale they want nothing to do with customers. I spend a lot of money annually at Lowes and I will never shop that store again. I also will never purchase Husqvarna products again.

Bought a new Husqvarna lawn tractor Model 960450049. The tractor had less than 5 hours running time. I started the mower to put in the shed, within about 30 yards of travel it caught on fire, quit running and burned completely. Reported the problem to Lowes. They said they would contact me back in a couple of days. Its been 2 weeks, heard nothing.
