I purchased a 2004 RX 330 2 years ago with very low mileage, from Lexus of Sarasota, FL and purchased the extended warranty with the vehicle. For the better part of 10 months I have now been working with Tampa of Lexus and the warranty company as the dashboard continues to deteriorate and no resolution at hand that satisfies me. The warranty company despite the fact that we sent over 10 pictures of end to end dashboard cracks, and the fact that Lexus of Tampa, recommended that the dashboard be replaced, only wanted to send a dashboard technician to repair it. The Lexus of Tampa finally wanted to replace it and charge me $250 dollars, but I didn't believe I should be responsible for a single cent of it, since this is a known Lexus issue and Lexus should be accountable. Lexus of Tampa then recommended that I take the vehicle back to Lexus of Sarasota where I originally purchased it and let them deal with the problem.My conversation with the Lexus of Sarasota Service Rep went something like this... "Well, we have to weigh several factors. How many vehicles have you purchased from us?" which the answer is this is my 4th Lexus, and OBTW, my 2007 Lexus Dashboard is sticky and chipping as well, and this vehicle is still under warranty. "How much Service have you done with us?" And although, I have performed almost some of my service has been performed at Sarasota, the majority has been done with the Lexus of Tampa, because they are conveniently located near my office and they have better service. Lexus is Lexus and none of these issues should even matter, as Lexus should stand behind their product. Lexus of Sarasota are now going to take pictures and request a "Good Will" repair ... Stay tuned as I have zero confidence that Lexus knows how to do the right thing for their customers. They have a sticky and cracking Dashboard issue that they simply refuse to own. These will be my last Lexus vehicles because I will not purchase another Lexus if they do not resolve my problem.

Lexus is a luxury car for middle class income earners and it is affordable.. It is environmentally friendly and of quality standard. The spare parts are easily assessible. I recently made a purchase of a 2008 RX350, from Meade Lexus of Lakeside. I decided to go with the Lexus, with the hopes of landing a depending vehicle from a company that cared about their customers well being and to make future purchases. Received the vehicle in Aug. and within 30 days needed a new battery, which is not the end of the world, although unexpected. This weekend however, I took my 11 year old son to Chicago for his birthday and the vehicle started smoking and stalled on me on the 94 E expressway. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop only to be told that the vehicle that I purchased 7 months prior, needs a new engine!! I tried to contact the dealership as well as had the vehicle taken to another repair shop for a second opinion, after the second shop, gave me the same results. I can not believe that this dealership is selling unsafe vehicles to the public. I did all of my research prior to this purchase for this to happen to me. I too, cannot believe that I am making a complaint about a brand that I put so much trust into. My next step is to contact the attorney general office about this situation.

I've been trying to resolve this issue for about 2 years now. My car dashboard has become very sticky and when it's very sunny outside, it is hard to see through the window because of the reflection from the dashboard. When I was living in South Florida, I mention this to Lexus of North Miami. They were no help and stated to me that I should be getting a letter in the mail, which never came. When I move down to Maryland, I also brought this matter to the attention of Lexus of Silver Spring and again, the individual helping me stated that I was not on the list which didn't make sense to me. I call the Lexus Customer Satisfaction number but the rep stated that I wasn't eligible. I don't understand why I wouldn't be eligible since I did purchase the car from a Certified Lexus dealership.

Lexus has very premium and great interior with modern technology embedded with it. It has good engine system and reliable system with cut edge technology which is good for everyone. It also has nice sleek model with iron mesh and grand beautiful color with hand crafted Italian leather finish with good interior as well as exterior. It's easy to upgrade to any other premium line and it's not much of the expensive or add upon any other features inside or out. It's big enough for as much as 6 people with huge capacity for people as well as the cargo and it's useful for all the passengers in future also. So far, I've never encountered any problems.

I purchased a pre-owned 2007 Lexus GS 350 a month ago. I started smelling a musty odor and after investigating, I found that the carpet is soaked under the floor mats. I quickly called the Lexus dealership and was told to bring it in. The problem is the AC drain hose is leaking. The service department is stating that this is not covered under my warranty. I am angry because after research on the web, this has been a ongoing problem with this model Lexus and I would think the dealership would be more considerate of new customers who have owned the vehicle for less than 45 days.

They had various models that I was interested in with various trim level for each model. They could have more models, but what they had was adequate, even if it wasn't huge. Their cars are high quality and the prices are reasonable. They use high quality parts in their car, and their cars are very reliable, i.e. good value for the price paid. There aren't many upgrade options and personalization available. They only have a few trim level that you can choose from which bundles in the various options. I would prefer more ala carte selection so that I can choose only the options that I want and not have to pay for some options that I don't really want. The model I was interested in all seats 5 passengers comfortable. There was plenty of interior room as well as cargo space to carry both people and stuff. It could be tight if all passengers are large.

Have owned several Lexus models very reliable All models. Only problem on 2013 Rx 350 has been front parking sensor will not go off. Otherwise just brakes and tires have been replaced. Sorry but the above is all I can say about Lexus SUV.
