I have a new 2017 Q7 Premium, 3500 miles. When pulling away from a stop sign or stop light, the engine pauses from time to time. So much so, that once in a while, it can be a safety hazard with oncoming traffic. Also, the GPS system works sometimes, and most of the time the routes are completely crazy, taking me 100's of miles out of the way of my destination. My car has been at the dealership for 5 days now, and they called yesterday to inform me that the pause is inherent to the vehicle, just get used to it! As for the GPS, corporate office knows it doesn't work, and they may or may not try and fix it?? So, this vehicle costs a pretty penny, but ain't worth it. I'm offering to leave it on their lot and walk away if I can have my money back??Paul of Sahuarita, AZ

I bought Audi A4, 2008 model sportline from a dealer in Jordan. After one month, I found that there is a major problem in the engine. I went to the dealer in Jordan who said that he can't repair the engine and he don't have any spare parts for the engine. The dealer policy is to replace the engine which cost about $16,250.00. We tried to find the spare parts from the local market but we can't so our car is stopped since three weeks. I don't know how people can buy Audi car while the dealer can't provide good service and spare parts. Actually, we pay $37,000.00 for such car but we can't use it because the dealer service is very bad. We lose too much for that and waiting for the AUDI company to keep their reputation.Ibrahim of Amman, OTHER

I have always believed in the Audi brand - the prestige of a German engineered vehicle was something I aspired to drive. Two years ago, my mother bought a new 2012 Q5. This was when I set my mind to buying my own Audi. A little over a year ago, I bought my first vehicle, a used 2010 A4. I could not have been more thrilled, and always offered to drive friends and family around, just to show off my new ride. From the moment I purchased my A4, all I could think about was buying the next Gen version or even the new A3 that I ogled over at the Detroit Auto Show. Unfortunately my perspective on the quality of an Audi built vehicle has changed entirely. My complaint is with Audi, not the dealership. My car has less than 100,000 miles on it and has a MAJOR engine failure outside of recall/warranty. For a car to need a camshaft and 2 cylinders replaced at 4 years old (amounting to $5,500-$9,000 in repairs) signals a defective engine, not bad luck. The car has never missed a service appointment. The entire situation is completely ridiculous.I will never purchase or do business with Audi again. The level of interest shown in my personal well-being and overall desire to do the right thing is mind-boggling, and I have never in my life seen such apathy from a company towards a customer with a major mechanical failure outside of their control. I had planned for this to be my first Audi. After this debacle it is definitely my last.Ryan of Royal Oak, MI

I would caution anyone against purchasing a new or used Audi solely based on their horrendous customer service and deceptive service practices. I purchased a new 2017 Audi Q7 and almost immediately notice an obnoxious squealing noise from the front brakes, especially when they were cold. On multiple occasions I mentioned this to my service advisor at Bluegrass Audi when I was having work done on the vehicle. I was consistently told that the noise was normal and was just due to the nature of the brake pads. I recently received a notice of a Class Action Settlement, “Mercado v Volkswagen Group…: that specifically addressed this very issue and I have also learned that there were several Technical Service Bulletins (2050735/1) issued in early 2018 by Audi that addressed this issue and specifically how service departments should fix the issue. Unfortunately, my service department never addressed this issue and I am apparently stuck dealing with the obnoxious squealing. I contacted Audi USA to see what could be done and was told they could not offer any assistance and my only option would be to take legal action on my own. This is tremendously disappointing for a company that holds itself out as consumer focused.s of Louisville, KY

You pay $60,000.00 for an Audi and this is the message you get. So, the built in Navigation system is now virtually useless. I've got a Garmin portable GPS that cost $120.00 and has lifetime map updates. See Audi message below: "Map update. You have used up your quota of free map updates. Further updates are subject to charge. To obtain the latest "Digital road map North America (Mexico, Canada, USA) Version 2020/2021" map update, please contact your Audi partner."Ralph of Guelph, ON

I bought 2010 Audi A4 for my son with 101k mileage, engine broke down at 115k! Called mechanics and they all agree that I need a new/used engine as Audi has an engine that no one wants to open and find what the problem is! All mechanics agreed that Audi’s engine has problems and that Audi USA know about the issue. Bad experience. Never an Audi.Raed of Las Vegas, NV

Audi offers a variety of models. My favorite is the A4. It's a nice size sedan that is fully loaded. I am a small woman and I'm able to handle this car perfectly. It has leather and heated seats, sunroof, navigation, and nice size trunk. It's roomy too! It sits five comfortably, and luggage can fit nicely in the back seats. It's nice to drive and absolutely worth every single penny. The resale value is amazing as well. I am really satisfied with the factory version of this car. I'd love to change nothing about it. It's just perfect. I love this car and would recommend this over and over again.Ani of Los Angeles, CA

I bought a used car, a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T, from this dealer on 7-27-2012. The next day, the engine check light was on and I took it to a repair shop to examine it. Also, the coolant alarm keeps popping up. The technician told me the catalytic converter needs to be changed along with other issues. Fixing the engine check light problem will cost me $1,000, not to mention the two complete junk tires that need to be replaced. Furthermore, the system was recoded several months ago by the dealer. They tried to hide this information by storing code to the system so that the engine check light won't be back on unless you drive it for several miles. I only have this car a week. The engine was too hot for me to keep driving when I was on my way back home after I brought the issue to the dealer. He told me the car is fine. However, I have to stop and turn off the engine after driving two minutes because the engine was too hot. It took me five hours to drive 20 miles on the express way which was really dangerous. The dealer intentionally hid the major issue of the car from me - the buyer - and refused to fix the issue. Neither did he agree to get this car back and give my portion of money back. This is really a nightmare. It is really dangerous to drive a car at 20 miles/hour speed on an expressway and to stop it abruptly just to let the engine gets cooler. That is crazy.Peng of Chicago, IL

Piece of junk!!!! To let people know about Audi. Don’t buy one. I’ve owed a few and always seems to be an issue. A4 turbo went and now recently Q7 not even 5 years old maintained by Audi service the starter is bad and fuel pump is leaking which is scary to know the car can ignite on fire. $4k for repairs after spending $60k on the car. How can it be possible for this piece of junk car which claims to be a high quality car have so many issues. Audi does nothing about it says oh well sorry. I strongly suggest no one spends their hard earned money on a piece of junk and go with another brand. Sorry to be so abrupt but this brand is terrible and so is their corporate office.Telly of Nanuet, NY

We had an Audi years ago and wanted to have another one. The Q7 fit our needs. However, it has been a terrible experience. The brakes will not stop squeaking and the dealer says they have relayed the problem to Audi but nothing gets done. 80% of the people who own this car are complaining according to the dealer. The squeaking is so loud that you are embarrassed to drive the car when anyone can hear. It is awful. Please do NOT buy this car. Audi, please listen to your customers. I will stop people on the street and tell everyone not to buy this car.Leigh of Raleigh, NC
