Product Reviews:

I bought a new 2017 Nissan Rogue. The next day from purchase I when slowing down I felt a jerky lunge as if the break locked up and something is getting stuck or going to break, others have stated sounds like transmission issues I contacted the salesman the next day about returning the car and she said "don't worry you have good warranty just bring it in we will fix it!" So, I made the appointment and service said, "We don't find anything wrong." A few weeks later there was a metal rattle noise low idle.Again, we don't find anything wrong with rattle. We will bend this plate, it still made noise. Service said, "We drove your car 15 time. We don't feels issues." (lies!). It's been 1 year and the break, lunge pop issues has never been fixed, the sunroof rattles and squeaks, steering wheel squeaks when turning, radio sounds like static, vibrating in dashboard when accelerating are intake button for a/c gets stuck, air conditioning makes a water noise.during service wrong oil was added to my car, antifreeze was below the low line.Been there 5 times for repairs with waiting around 4 hours each visit with no repairs except for the idle. The new car warranty is basically a scam if Nissan doesn't use it. Service advisors all say, we have no problem using the warranty, but then refuse to use warranty to fix repairs. I have never had a car with this many problems in used or new cars. Service states this is Nissan not other cars you cannot compare, obviously because Nissan showed they are bad quality, customer and lower than other car with this many problems! On top of that Nissan has bad resale value only one year and lost more than 1/2 its value, basically buy 2 cars only get 1 - not complete, bad quality, junk car.

I made 32 phone calls (documented), 2 faxes to car dealer, certified letter – NO RESPONSES. All I wanted was to make my first payment before it was late! I HAD a credit score of over 750 and in 2 months NMAC (Nissan finance) RUINED my credit – now it's 620! I spent over 5 weeks just trying to get the mailing address to make my payment. I called 3 different published phone numbers for NMAC and they didn't have my account registered! I didn't exist – no account number to put my $$$ towards! Next thing I know – REPO! Even before repo I had my atty involved and they even ignored her calls! Finally, after the Repo, the repo company was obligated by law to give me the phone number to contact. I had a 3-way phone call with Nissan and my lawyer on the line. I explained everything and said I would be willing to pay the entire amount, even plus 1 month in exchange for them faxing my attorney, admitting that NMAC made an error and I was never late on my payments. That's all I asked for! I was willing to let them get away with doing this to me, but they refused to admit fault. I told them I'd see them in court then. My atty was even surprised at how they treated me and said she never had a company REFUSE $$$.

Do not ever deal with Nissan, they are ripping people off, this will be my last time doing business with them, $400 for scratches and dents and the car is almost brand new, garage kept and never been touched. And they have the worst customer service ever.

The rudest people. Don’t get even a little behind. They hound you daily starting at 8 am, and continue several times a day. I literally just made a payment to get caught up, but because it didn’t cover 100% (not even 30 days past yet), I get an ignorant, barely understandable rep berating me at 8 in the morning. A daily occurrence. Greedy, condescending and arrogant people.

The car in my possession was sold to me by Anna ** with account number ** and contract date of 3/6/2010. The vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Titan VIN number **, which legally she cannot sell because Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation have not authorized her. As I tried to explain, they refused because we are not on contract and they refused to talk to me.My civil rights were violated. Nissan Acceptance Corp improperly repossessed my vehicle. It is a fraudulent charge for Nissan Motor Company along with Ana **. I have all statements and paper work showing payments and checked statements. They are showing no payment history today. Me, my wife and children are without transportation and also money that I have receipts for.

I have had a Nissan Leaf for about 18 months. From the beginning, I thought that the brakes were not right (they are computer-controlled brakes). They would slip for about 1/2 second when I pressed them or sometimes during use. About 12 days ago, the car would not start and the computer told me that my foot was not on the brake, but it was! The computer could not sense that my foot was trying to press the brake (remember that the brakes are computer assisted). I took the car into the dealership and they have had it for 12 days, and still they and Nissan USA have no idea what the problem is. They have tried rebooting the computer but it still does not work. This is an obvious safety issue (brakes not working) and inconvenience (not being able to start or use the car), and it seems like the local Nissan dealership and Nissan USA cannot work together to get this resolved!

I purchase a 2012 Nissan Juke Oct 2013 with 5700 miles - now 15,000 miles, it kept on cutting out. I took it into my local dealer. After paying 88£ they told me it would need a new gearbox (value 6700) and just fob me off, saying warranty expired since March of this year. As a single mother with 3 children, I just can't afford it and the sales person whom was soon nice to me before I purchased the car now fobs me off and say there is nothing they can do. Everyone (9) spoke to says it's a manufacturer fault and they should consider giving me at least a refurbished gearbox, etc. as for such a new car with low mileage. The gearbox shouldn't have stop working and an automatic transmission at that.

I bought my Nissan Altima 2013 brand new. I had problems since I bought it. The airbag and the check engine light kept coming ON. Took it several times to the dealership and I was told that the light had to be on at the moment. Decided to call the Nissan corporate and made a report for it. I was told that I would not have a problem later on when my light came on. Finally my airbag light stay on when my car was out of the warranty. Contacted Nissan and they told that my car was out of warranty they did not want to fix it and It's a safety issue.

I have a Nissan Rogue 2013, took it to a dealer in Surrey at 96000 kms because the transmission seemed to be slipping, the service manager took it for a test drive. After coming back about 5 minutes later he told me the transmission was fine and I should just change the transmission oil. I did this and at 113,000 kms the transmission packed it in driving in downtown Vancouver with my daughter in my car. The top speed now reduce to 15 kms an hour. I managed to limp into a parking stall and got the car towed back the dealer. The dealer and the complaint department at Nissan are now telling me, “Too bad for you, this is out of warranty,” which it is! So I am now on the hook for a $4200.00 bill to get it replaced with no goodwill from Nissan or the dealer on a vehicle I bought new off the lot 4 years ago. I know they have had issues in the past with the CVT transmission so you think they might try to help out, I would never buy a Nissan product after this!

I bought a Nissan Cube new in July 2009. Three and a half months later, the car stalled on us while we were driving on the freeway during peak traffic in the pouring rain and almost got my daughter & I killed. I learned the car needed a new transmission. Nissan dealership called Japan and replaced the transmission. They said they sent the black box back to Japan and the defective transmission, said this has never happened. Well, 2 weeks ago, the same thing happened. The car stalled then kicked in and went on its own, slowed down on its own. It's very dangerous and it can kill someone. I took it back in and another new transmission is needed. I haven't owned the car 3 years and now it will have its 3rd transmission. I am afraid of getting back in the car since. We were assured it would be okay the 1st time and I'm afraid the next time, we could be in an accident or be killed. There are no warning signs, lights or anything that comes on when it happens, so it's unsafe. Nissan mechanics cannot assure us that there is not anything else causing this car to keep having transmission problems or why the car acts the way it does when it starts to happen. We are a military family and do not want our life to be cut short because Nissan will not recall this car or compensate us to get into a new safe car.
