Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly referred to as BMW, is a German multinational corporate manufacturer of luxury vehicles and motorcycles headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

BMW's long-anticipated X7 three-row crossover is finally here, and based on our drive, it was worth the wait. This large SUV can be outfitted with either a three-seat bench or a pair of captain's chairs in the second row; we found the third row to be comfortable for more than just short trips across town.

I have a 2007 BMW 325 that I am trying out for 3 days. I brought this to my mechanic. The automatic transmission has been replaced, plastic parts for power steering pump, passenger side door, which I never opened, has issues, the seals are suspect and the AC does not operate in cold weather to help defrost. My mechanic brought me to this site! After reading the complaints, I am crazy if I buy this Money Mad Machine! I am taking the BMW back and getting a Japanese Lexus or Acura!AC repairs cost more than the car, plastic pump parts and a consumer service that gives a ** less? No way! Thanks for this site. Thanks again. You have saved me countless dollars, time, misery and aggravation! Thank you!

I own a 2005 325CI with 51,000 miles and I have clear coat issues myself. Unfortunately, I bought the car used a few years ago. I figured I could get "some" assistance from the customer complaint center because the ** service manager at the local dealership basically told me ** you in a nice way. Both my conversations with management from the dealership and customer service center were futile, no assistance whatsoever. There is definitely a trend with these complaints even with cars that are garage kept. The materials that are being used here are definitely substandard. I have other cars that sit in the same driveway that are older than the BMW, and I use the same cleaning products on them that I use on the BMW and I have no issues at all. I am not asking for a freebie, but I think BMW should give some sort of assistance in these matters and take care of their customers whether they bought their cars new or used. The customer service reps and managers at the so-called "Service Center" are a bunch of arrogant ** that know nothing about taking care of the customer. If anyone has any info on who I can talk to other than the service center, dealership, or paint reps, please let me know. I am totally frustrated that no assistance was offered.

My car broke down 4 days back and I have had 6+ calls until today to schedule a towing service. Even after multiple attempts, the towing guys have still not come. The BMW roadside assistance is not doing their job.

BMW x3 xDRIVE28i - For a SUV of this price, some of the finishing touches are mediocre and I find that after 50 years of driving a BMW product, their top quality and so called attention brought to customers, are declining. It is still "the driving machine" but it's not anymore the cream of the cream!

We have BMW 750i 2006 model... We had driven about 70k miles when we started having problems. We had regular maintenance on the car and major service when required. We found the car with way more problems with engine. Alternator. Engine oil leak and a/c evaporator core. We had driven before a Lexus 300 for 250000 miles and we never face these many issues. Similar experience with BMW 328i 2009 driven for 66000 miles and problem with a/c evaporator core. Replacement cost 2750 - we think BMW has issues with engineering and design and lot of costly repairs. We will never buy the BMW brand again ever...

I bought a BRAND new BMW 530 XDrive last May 2019. This June 2019 I got a flat tire. I called roadside assistance for the first time and arranged a pick up. It took over 3 hours (FIRST sign they don't care) but they finally got a tow truck to me. The Company's name was T & T towing based in Waldorf. The dealership they were supposed to take my car to was less than 30 minutes up the road. SO after an hour has passed and no update. I called T&T towing to see the status of my vehicle. I was then informed "NOBODY WANTS YOUR CAR, WE WILL DROP IT OFF WHEN WE DROP IT OFF". I look on my BMW app and see my car is heading to Waldorf and not BMW of Silver Spring as requested. I contact BMW RSA to let them know how I am being spoken to and that I would like my vehicle returned. I went to Google and wrote a review about the towing company.10 minutes later BMW RSA calls me back and say that T & T towing is refusing to return my vehicle because of my review. (Second sign they don't care) why would you call me. I don’t know them. YOU (BMW) chose them to tow my car. So if you are saying they won’t return it then my car is stolen at this point. Another Hour goes by no car. I now get the police involved and T & T towing decides to bring back my car. It is now 12am the next day.I called BMW to schedule a pickup for the next morning for 7:30-8am so they can get it because I go to work. I called the next morning at 8 only to be informed NO Tow truck was scheduled (Third sign they don't care). I call them and rearrange and afternoon pickup after 5. I get car tow by Past and Present Towing and Recovery. I go pick up my car and I now have a BIG gash missing from my bumper. I call and file a claim on June 5th 2019.First BMW denied my claim saying there is no record they towed my vehicle a second time. Then after I got RSA to send report because it seems customer service and RSA are on different networks and it shows they towed it twice. I am on month 3 and they STILL haven't made a decision on my vehicle. I am going to sell this car and get an Audi or Mercedes. No reason to spend this much and they treat you like this.

In 2014 I decided I wanted to drive "the ultimate driving machine". What a mistake. I asked my cousin who works at a dealership to locate something for me. In June 2014 I purchased my 2011 BMW 328i xdrive SULEV with 29k. I purchased extended warranty and Gap insurance for slightly over $30,000. I realized I overpaid but I was okay with it because I really wanted this vehicle. A few months into it my car began shaking violently and had a very rough idle. I had to replace spark plugs and coils. A few months after that it started having electrical problems. The car would turn off the heat, ac, radio, and lights. I had to replace an electrical module at 45k. I contacted BMW and they offered to pay 95%. I was satisfied until another few months went by and my car kept stalling, launching itself into traffic, shutting off and turning back on while I was on the highway, and wouldn't keep momentum. Turns out the fuel line broke off in my tank and I needed to replace the fuel tank at 50k. I called BMW again and they offered to replace it with only $250 out of my pocket... At this point I decided this car is a nightmare and I wanted out. Too upside down to replace it I decided I've replaced enough and it should be good to go for a few years. NOW it's idling rough again, hesitating to move and shaking violently once again. BMW offered me a $1,000 loyalty to trade out but dealerships are only offering $15,000 and I owe $26,000. For the age and mileage of this vehicle I should not have had it in the shop more than 5 times for serious maintenance. This car is a nightmare!!!! I would NEVER recommend BMW to friends or family members unless they don't mind having it in the shop more than on the road. Between electrical issues, faulty fuel pump/fuel line, coils, and an obnoxious ticking sound I have more of a headache than an ultimate driving machine. It's more like the ultimate pain in the butt. The cigarette lighter has never worked so I cannot plug in a GPS. When I have my ipod or Pandora playing the radio will randomly change the song or shut my music off and default to the radio. It also gets so hot that the radio stops working and says "HIGH TEMP". It overheats and won't play music and turns off the AC or the heat randomly. For the price of these vehicles new and pre-owned they should not have THIS many issues. I have less than 65k on it and it constantly fails me. BMW is by far the worst vehicle I have ever owned. If you're considering a luxury brand try Lexus or Infiniti. BMWs are a waste of money!!

I would like to share my disgust and aggravation with BMW Assist. Last night, after dropping my son off at soccer practice in South Florida, I placed my dog and my purse in the front seat of my BMW X5. I proceeded to close the door and walk over to the driver’s side. To my disbelief, all the doors were locked and my dog was stuck in a stifling hot vehicle. I called BMW Assist frantically, requesting that they open my door. They asked for all my information including my address, vehicle VIN, etc. The only information I was unable to provide them with was my enrollment date (as all the paperwork, along with my dog), was locked in my vehicle. I begged the woman to ask me any other security question. She said “sorry, I can’t help you”. I told her my dog was dying and suffocating in the vehicle. She said without this information she was unable to send a signal to my car. She was rude, unsympathetic and didn’t care about my dog’s well-being.We called the police and the city sent a fire truck and policeman to assist in saving my dog’s life. Luckily, however, my son was able to sign into our account, from home, and retrieve the necessary information before the police needed to get involved. I was so upset that I called both BMW North America and BMW Assist. I was told that this was a security measure to avoid theft. I would rather my car be stolen than to lose a life. What would the woman have done if it were a baby? Let the baby die to avoid potential theft.I am sorry, but I choose life over theft. I was also told that the woman could have opened the vents in my vehicle but never offered to do so. BMW Assist supervisor also told me that she should have informed me with an officer at hand, that she would be allowed to send a signal. Neither step was, however, taken. I am very fortunate that my dog is alive, but unfortunately from no assistance provided by BMW. This is unacceptable and procedures and policies should be established so that this never happens again.

I have a very big disappointment with the way your services are rendered with regards to availability of Parts. Anyone who purchases BMW expects no harassment and quick service from your company’s end. However this is my second instance that my car is hold in your service center for at least 25 days due to non-availability of part that is as common as a headlight.Last time car in service center was due to a manufacturing fault. Still had to wait for a period of not less than a month. Even this time if I have to wait for similar timeline for headlight replacement I don’t see any customer satisfaction or value for the amount spent. Point been please fix my car in a weeks’ time. If done so I will be very much obliged.Car was purchased from dealer- INFINITY CARS PVT LTD. When it was taken we were never warned about these shortfalls in your service center otherwise I would have never purchased your car and especially a new model. Also I will like to share my experience which is quite an unsatisfied one to not purchase any new model launched by BMW for at least 2 years till service centers start stocking at least the most popular parts.

I bought my 2014 X1 with 3800km on it. So far 1) the front end had to be to be replaced, 2) airbag recall, 3) Idle stop stopped working, 4) smell of fuel lingers in the interior, 5) most of the vents are brittle and break, 6) hazard lights switch is broken, replaced and broke again three days later. 7) Rear hatch door unlatches when gremlins want in or out, 8) rear door latch passenger side won’t latch. A door I rarely used.9) Valve cover and gasket replaced with 89000km (55000 miles), 10) Hole in the valve cover, 11) rust coming through under the rear hatch door. Told by Georgian BMW, Service Manager, who never worked in a body shop I was told, nor his manager, This I was told was due to a alteration. Car has never been in an accident, no record of an accident is apparent. BMW Canada told me to get the dealership to take pictures of the rusted area, Georgian BMW refused. (I won’t step foot in that door ever again and make it a point to tell anyone of the troubles I have with both car and dealership.)12) Doors locked with car running, 13) side plastic plate at bottom of door pops off. Had to use $4.00 tube of silicon on a “fine piece of German Engineering”. 14) Front cowl is plastic and broke off while hitting a pothole in the cold... Did I say...plastic front cowl like in the same plastic in the toy cars my Grandchildren play within the bathtub...but obviously more resilient. 15) Intermittent wipers are stuck on one speed. Told by Georgian BMW this was due to an aftermarket windshield. Odd in the corner of the windshield it reads BMW and I had never replaced it from when I bought the car. Funny that whenever I go into a BMW Shop to repair my car, continuously try to sell me a new and improved model of crap.
