It has been good so far. It is good on gas and seems to be mostly reliable. Has a pretty big trunk for a little car. Runs pretty good. It is great for me and my daughter but has a good size back seat if we want to take others with us. It has some updated technology so that is nice, I can connect my phone and it is really easy to drive. It was the car I was able to get approved for so that is what I bought. However, the headlights have to be turned on and off manually, my old car had running lights so I didn't have to worry about the lights all the time. It is pretty low to the ground so it is a big change from an SUV.

Mazda CX5 2015 is A PIECE of crap. I bought this car from Browning Mazda two months ago. It is about 6000 mileage. I always have long distances travel.Two days ago, this car suddenly can't be reversed in the freeway. It kept going straight. Later on it became normal again. I drove very slowly to Browning Mazda to have examination on my car. They checked it. They told me everything is fine. They couldn't find any code related to my problem. I trusted them. I took my car back. But during my last trip, same problem happened again in the freeway. I almost lost my life. So, called Mazda to toll my car back to them. They only paid for 18 miles. I paid 208 dollars to tolling company. It has been three days. They still kept my car. They said they need to have engineer to come to check my car. I don't have a car to use for three days already. They don't offer any solution. Pieces of **. Please don't risk your life to buy Mazda car. There are a lot of bad reviews for this brand.

It's my fault that Mazda use Bose speakers that corrode in the doors and stop working. So not covered under the warranty. Definitely not Mazda's or Bose's fault. The brand / image that Mazda portrays is not reflected in the after sales service and warranty team. Buyer beware!

2013 M3 6-speed manual purchased at 27,500 miles in April 2015 with transmission problems since purchase. I only have to put gas in it twice a month, but the savings over the years will soon be eaten up by a necessary total transmission replacement including master and slave cylinders, entire clutch assembly, and probably the gearbox as well. Not surprisingly, after 2 years of complaints, Mazda techs were finally able to duplicate the shifting problem (stemming from a known issue and current class action suit) on a service visit just outside of warranty, and they blamed it on user error and normal wear and tear.All the reviews you're reading are true... Mazda does not stand behind their products after purchase. Skyactiv-Gs are ridiculously frugal on gas, though! 34+ mpg in mixed driving over 72,000 miles! My issue has been overall shifting crunchiness worst in temps below 50F and failure to shift into first gear multiple times per day since day 1 no matter the weather. Just buy a Honda or Toyota...the Mazda 'zoom-zoom' feeling wears off the moment you drive away from the dealer and the depreciation is ridiculous, so you'll be stuck with it until it's paid off because no one wants to work on Skyactiv-Gs except Mazda despite being nearly a decade old technology.

I had brought my car in for a check-up and oil change, and the check engine light was on. They did their check and gave me the car back but the check engine light was still on. I was told that they never reset it because I did not tell them that it was on, although they said that they checked all lights in the car. The car engine was making a noise as well, but nothing was ever said. This check-up was done just before my 160,000 km engine guarantee was up.At 162,000 km, my engine blows. I contact Mazda Canada and they say, "Too bad. Your guarantee is up," and say that I missed an oil change. I heard that there are lots of cases like this and that there may be a class action lawsuit against Mazda concerning these 2.3L Mazda engines. I would appreciate information if you have any.

My 2013 CX-5 broke down in the middle of the highway while my wife was driving. She got too scared and was able to exit and call the tow company. Engine light came on. Car sputters and almost stalled. Later dealer replaced 2 coils and 2 spark plugs. Other many small issues with this dealer too (Gyro Mazda in Toronto). I have MAP (Mazda-added protection). But when I try to find out exactly what is covered, service says they don't know, see sales and sales says service know. I don't know if this problem with only this dealer or all Mazda dealers like this.

Mazda 5 has good mileage and storage space in the back. We like the cruise control, volume/mute control on steering wheel and digital dashboard display. We wanted the benefits of a minivan that was easier to maneuver and at a lower price. However, it has poor overall leg room and we cannot use the third row seats for people of all ages and sizes. We want more overall leg room, but especially more room for the third row seats. This would help to carry people of all ages and sizes in all of the passenger seats.

We just discovered a leak on the passenger side floor area when the AC is on. Removed the mat and the carpet was soaked. Musty smell followed. The dealer said that he had never heard this complaint for this model but did list a number of other models where the AC drain was clogged and required unclogging. Fine. This should not be happening. It will cost their hourly rate to diagnose the "problem". Sounds like a design issue. On the driver's side there has also been a leak that occurs after a big rain. The water is puddled on the mat. The passenger side trickles down and under the mat. Any feedback would be helpful.

The only thing I do not like about my CX nine 2018 model is that it doesn’t have Apple CarPlay. Of course Mazda came out with Apple CarPlay with the following model year 2019 and then wanted to charge me $250 to install it in my car which I thought was a bunch of **.
