It's good, can last long for gas. Don't need to repair car for a while, it's sturdy and nice. Had to change 2 wheels though. After that I did had to fix anything up like oil change. But car can go 100000 miles before it needs repair. It's really good car to go on a road trip. I would definitely recommend my company. But, the car needs more work on the seats, it has been a difficult time trying to drive with sitting on this seat. I would also fix the door because it is a bit weak and it broke once.

The engine needed replacement in my 2002 Lexus ES300 at 100,000 miles. Lexus replaced it. At 121,000 miles, the engine needed replacement again and Lexus refused to replace it even though I showed them evidence that the oil was changed every 5,000 miles. I got $1500 for the car as is.

This car (Lexus ES 330) is very good now and has served me well. I have had it new since 2004 and still running like a champ. I have liked this car from the beginning and still do. Its design is not too over the top and there's not a lot of extra bells and whistles. Just enough of a design to keep it simple yet it works. I don't need all the extras, I just need basic transportation and most of all safety is the biggest plus in any car. I believe in safety first and foremost. This car being 12 years old still has some of the goodies. It has the sun/moonroof, lots of airbags and antenna in the window vs. actual antenna that you see on cars. It's a 5 passenger car and has great sound from the stereo and many speakers too. It also has leather seats heated for your comfort, dual thermostat for the heater or air conditioner and lots of trunk space you can open from the inside of the car.

2007 Touch Screen on my IS 250 Lexus - On Feb 17, I had my Map Quest updated while my car was in for the 140,000 miles service. I noticed the Map Quest remained on the touch screen at all times where before it did not. The week of the 10 of March, the Touch Screen stopped working. I returned the car to the dealership on March 20 and received a call that it would take $3,100 to repair the touch screen. Also it was going to take 2 days to get the screen in to replace the old one. I have also contacted Lexus Headquarters in CA to see what they can do. I purchased this car New from Lexus In VA (what a Nightmare of a dealership); therefore, I begin going to one in Maryland which I was hoped would not be just after money/buy a new car. Well they are turning out to be the SAME. UNACCEPTABLE, I am not giving them this amount of money because I have given Lexus too much money. So one please let me know what backyard or shade-tree dealer who can fix the touch screen.

With 89000+ miles, I was told the timing cover gasket was leaking and to replace it would cost $3000+ because the engine must be pulled. I asked what type of gasket would be replaced. The service manager stated that a "liquid gasket" would be replaced and that Lexus does not use a fiber gasket. He also stated that the liquid gasket melts from the heat of the engine and causes the leak which happens quite often. When I checked Toyota I found the company uses a fiber gasket on their timing cover. This is a definite design flaw in the RX 350. No doubt the melting of the liquid gasket contaminates the oil. Because of the risk of the leak to happen again, as soon as I can afford it, the RX 350 will be traded for a Toyota. It proves that Lexus vehicles are high maintenance and too expensive to own.

Tried Mercedes, drove him to 4 years, a decent car. BUT, after Lexus, I realized that she excels. Good streamlined, pleasant to look at, beautiful design, high-quality assembly. Also made of solid metal, in a collision it will not crumble. It contains more than 5-6 people, places inside enough, but still, for me, his wife and child, this is the best option. I have a 2002 RX300 and recently had the transmission go out. It is obvious by all of the complaints online that the 1999-2003 models have a defect in their transmissions. It is also obvious that Lexus does not care. I am very upset as I have addressed Corporate with this and they do not care at all. They are losing a lot of customers as well as myself because of this. This issue should have had a recall. As far as good customer service goes, Lexus needs some help with this. We are in the market for a new car and it will NOT be a Lexus!

I have been driving Lexus RX series since 2004 and Germain Lexus of Dublin Ohio is my dealer that I dealt with all those years. Just recently, I returned my leased 2017 RX350 and purchased 2020 RX350L. The deal was to forgive me for all remaining payments on my lease and to forgive me for the excessive mileage. Everything was verbally and was not in writing. Once I got my new 2020 RX350L, few weeks later I received an invoice from Lexus Financial Services to pay for excessive mileage. I called Lexus Financial Services and said the deal was to forgive me, they said, "You have to contact Germain dealership and remind them to pay us the bill," I did and the sales manager I dealt with said that the deal was I have to pay for excessive mileage. I am 100% positive that he is not correct but unfortunately, there is nothing in writing to proof my case. I wrote a complaint on Germain’s website but no one contacted me, I also left a voicemail for the General Manager but he didn't return my call.My advice is to get every promise in writing before you sign anything.
