After being involved in a very bad wreck in Jan 2018 in my 2014 Lexus ES 350 with 19,000 miles, I contacted Lexus Customer Service due to the driver seat not staying in sitting position on impact. I was lying down due to seat not holding up, It broke. I talked to Jessie asking for someone to look at the car. Asked for him to do this right away because the car was totaled.

2010 RX-350 headed to Florida on Vac. When we started using AC the floors got damp and to the point of soaked. After googling possible ideas the common issue was the AC Drain plug was clogged. Being a 2010 Lexus with 50,000 miles on it I would never expect this vehicle to have this issue. However here is a few things I did to try and save my vacation: First I removed front and rear Seats, completely took out the Carpet, dry out carpet and soaked insulation, opened drain plugs on the floor boards, drained as much water as possible, wiped the remaining moisture out with towel. After driving for a few min. I could see the water seeping in. It was a Sunday, I spotted a Pep boys open in Jax Beach. I ask them if they could unclog the AC Drain Hose under the Car (for them it was a typical experience). I didn't have a lift to do this myself. The mechanic was nice enough to blow air into the hose and drain out the Blockage (This is ok but it just blew the slug back into the AC Box.) so yes this was a success for 1 day and then the hose became clogged again. I went to Lexus on Atlantic Blvd Bromfords, they were explaining to me the number of charges I would be facing with Diagnostic fees and Labor and etc. all business, good for them, not what I wanted to hear from a Dealer that is all too well aware of their AC issues with Lexus. With Service of such you just walk away. I went to the next Dealer down the road, Toyota. The Service Manager was very helpful but still not able to help me out. He did explain a lot of options and understood my issue. So here I am on VAC with a 2010 Lexus that I will drive up on ramps and attempt to unclog the hose with weed whacker line as suggested. It could help or it may not. Looking forward to get back to New England where I may be able to get assistance from friendly Auto Dealers. Maybe I will be lucky, Next Lexus will need Flood Insurance and Weed Whacker Line.

We just leased RX 350. We spoke to the dealer for a long time and agreed on payment $336.00. Then we waited for 3 1/2 hours. I was getting many phone calls from work while waiting for the paperwork to be completed. Finally, I signed the deal but did not have the chance to see the car (in spite of waiting for 3 1/2 hours.) My wife spent additional hour signing. When we came home and starting reading the fine print the payment was $385.00. Also, I did not like to color of the seats. We tried to return the car but the manager refused and told us to find a lawyer. Great!

Exploding glass moonroofs. If you are investigating the purchase of a Lexus with a glass moonroof...beware. They have a tendency to explode for no reason. I was on a desert highway with no vehicles in front of me and all of a sudden my sunroof/moonroof exploded. It sounded like a gun going off over my head and it nearly caused me to wreck it had shocked me so much. I did a little research and apparently this issue is an ongoing one with many other drivers reporting the exact circumstance. The Lexus corporate folks are very, very rude about this and will not help you or offer to pay for what is obviously a manufacturer defect.Very sad to see they will not stand by their product. I will be seeking legal remedy but in the meanwhile, if you must buy a Lexus, stay away from the cars with the glass moonroofs. You could be driving and not only have a sudden shock that can scare the life out of you but if your interior moonroof shade is also open at the same time, you could get badly injured by the falling broken glass shards. Very dangerous.

My model is a 6 passenger compact SUV. It has great storage or back seat for groceries and I can fit 5 very comfortably and 6 if need be. There were a couple of models in this style with many different colors and amenities you can choose from or upgrade to. Also they have options for wonderful upgrades and even options if you just want certain things added. Some they had to order but it only takes a couple of days for delivery of the items or car that's chosen. I was able to choose what was available or tell them what I liked and they would find the one with the features I wanted. I love my vehicle because it's not huge but can fit things like it is.

I bought this Lexus 2.5 years ago. About a year in and about 95,000 miles once or twice it ran rough at a stop sign for about 3 seconds and corrected itself (thought it was a bit of bad gas). I looked online and saw a post about this possibly being an issue. I also found in the glove box a page from Lexus saying they will take care of this even though it is not a recall. So, I took it to Sacramento Lexus. They said they would validate the issue, order parts, and give me a loaner vehicle. Well, they sure did. They took care of it completely! Obviously out of warranty and fully covered. They even offered to do any other repairs they find while doing the repair at the cost of the part cost only. I was truly amazed at the depth they would take care of a used vehicle not bought from that dealer, out of warranty, and the issue almost never happened that I was aware of. Above and beyond to say the least. Very impressed with Lexus and that dealer.

2008 LS460 In New Orleans heat all 4 door panels, upper and lower dash and rear of center console all defective and melting. Lexus replaced everything Except the console. Today I brought it to Lexus New Orleans because I received a standard recall letter informing me my console is covered. They took a few pictures and informed me the parts would be in in 2 to 3 YEARS! I find that Insulting. First they give you the good news and make you drive in to get the bad news! I used the Ferrara Law Group in Miami. They won their Class Action Suit against Toyota/Lexus 3 years ago and had to bring Toyota/Lexus back to court because they were stalling/stonewalling their customers after they had already lost the case! I have informed the attorney and if more people call them they may file a new suit against Toyota/Lexus...2 - 3 Years is stonewalling!

We bought 2008 Lexus RX400h, with 79k miles on it, a few weeks ago from Hanlees Toyota in Richmond, CA. We thought we made a smart decision buying hybrid vehicle this time. Guess what, even though Lexus states mpg 27/24 on this vehicle. We never got close to these numbers. We have been driving the vehicle for almost a month now and average mpg is 20.6. We sold our Highlander and upgraded for hybrid Lexus. We drove our highlander for over 10 years. Our average mpg was 21.8. What a disappointment for Lexus. I don't understand how do they get away with this type of false statements at all. We paid whole a lot of extra money to get hybrid vehicle to save money but it seems like we wasted for nothing. We will definitely keep pursuing to get some sort of resolution on this matter. This is not right and legal whatsoever. I am sick of these big corporations that they think they can do whatever they want and get away with anything. I am sick of them.
