I give 5 starts for the sales lady and 1 star for the financing department. We made a deal with the sales lady Josslyn and she went to her manager Eric everything was set 60 months at $320 per month we get to the financing dept he goes no way that can't happen. I told him, ''No Eric said 60months @320 it's a deal. We bought the KIA. Well, in financing it ended up 72 months at 328? My husband said not to make a scene so I said well when I come pick up the tags I will talk to the manager Eric and Josslyn. That happens yesterday 10-29-11.The financing guy said you should have told me .I informed him I did more than once he kept telling me that wasn't going to happen. So yesterday, he goes the paper work has been file so what do you want me to do. I informed him I wasn't happy the manager and sales person gives you a price and when you get back to his office whatever the manager say doesn't mean anything I don't feel that is right .This isn't the first vehicle we have gotten. He was wrong charging us one more yr I know we could have said no to the car but my husband said go ahead but if he has done it once how many other times has he done it to other customer. He had no excuse but it can't be done yet the manager gave us a discount because it was a 2011 and the finance guy didn't and wouldn't sale it to us at what the manager and sales person quoted us.

My mom has a 2013 Kia Soul. My mom does not drive on the freeway nor does she travel. She is retired and only drives around town. The car only has 30,000 miles on it is 6 years. She gets it maintenance on time at the dealership only. Last year the car started "jerking and jumping" when you would step on the gas while you were driving. She took it to the dealership. They "fixed it", now this year the car is paid off and my mom has moved to Arizona from California. The car is doing it again, and now the engine light is coming on. She now has to pay big bucks to get it diagnosed and fixed "maybe". My point is. After buying a new car off the lot, loving and caring for the car by way of dealership only like they suggest, using the best gas, and very low mileage, this car should last forever! So KIA's in my opinion are ** cars, now my 71 years old mother has to be dealing with this instead of enjoying her retirement. I'M PISSED!

2013 Kia Sorento - We got stuck in the middle of the road. While driving, the car shut down completely. When you try to restart the car, it does not restart. You need to wait for five minutes before it can restart. It happened three times in the last four months. I took it to the dealer and they told us they can't do anything about it because they can't duplicate the problem. Also, they mentioned that the computer is not registering any faults. Their solution was to drive the car and when it happens again, have to tow it to the nearest dealer. If you survive getting stuck in the interstate, you may able to have to tow.

It went from some noise to the rod going through the motor block in a matter of a minute. 2012 Kia Sorento. I put easy miles on my cars. Never have I had this problem on other makes and I usually keep the cars much longer. Now the Dealer is offering me $500 for the car. I just put more than that into brakes. This kind of built-in obsolescence will not keep me coming back.

I bought a Kia Sorento based on their claims of safety and all the airbags they have. In Dec I was in an unfortunate accident. Luckily my children were not in the vehicle. I was hit from all sides by multiple vehicles. NOT ONE AIR BAG deployed. The passenger side doors were on the seats and the frame between the front and back seats was split in half (right where there is an airbag). Kia said that in this situation the airbags are not designed to deploy when hit in that fashion. So they are claiming no fault. The vehicle was totaled. If Kia is so safe with all their airbags and I was T-boned and hit from all sides then what type of situation do you have to be hit in in order for them to deploy. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Got this car in a lease in 2017 from a very bad Kia dealership in Fort Walton Beach Florida. Continuously kept up with oil changes. The rear tail light on the driver side malfunctioned or I had to replace it twice because the seal was not staying sealed. Then I’d PCS to Hawaii 105 thousand miles. And with no notification the car stops running. Take it to the dealership and they said, "Oh well I’m sorry. You’re 5000 miles over the warranty." So there’s nothing that I can do. It’s $15,000 for a new motor. Very discouraging From dealership and Kia consumer affairs. Do not buy any Kia vehicles.

It's reliable and very efficient. Any issues I have had were easily fixed with a forum search & maintenance is not that expensive. It is also very cute. The Kia Rio's gas mileage is amazing (30mpg!). It has a manual transmission, which is not common anymore. It was also very affordable. I can see this car running as strong as older Hondas, eg 300k+ miles. But the backseat do a not fold down, which I didn't realize when I bought it. There is no stereo output jack, no power door locks or windows too.

I have a Kia Sorento. Since day one, I have had issues with the airbag lights coming on. The clock spring has been changed six times and now is on again. Kia will not admit that there is a problem with the car and will not do anything about it. I am concerned for my safety should I get in an accident. After six times, one would think that the car has issues and they should repair it.

I am disgusted with the "Mr. Sandman" Kia TV commercial. How dare you use women in such a sexist way? Which planet are you from? MaxoMax Galaxy Triple Y? Get a life! Get real! I will never buy a Kia. I will tell my friends and relatives not to get a Kia! Sexist people!

I purchased a new 2015 Kia Soul on August 21, 2015. I immediately noticed chips in my paint from normal driving conditions such as pebbles hitting the front. At my first oil change I told the service shop about it. Their response was "A water based paint was used on this model of the Soul. There is nothing we can do to fix the paint issue". They then sold me a freaking marker to color over the chips. The problem is these chips went all the way through the paint layers and you can see indentations when they are colored with the marker and every week I find more paint chips. I had a 2013 Soul and I loved it and I never had a problem with the paint.
