Product Reviews:

There is an ignition switch recall - Same make, Same model, Same year as my Honda Civic, but they will not repair my ignition switch because my VIN doesn't match the recalled VINs, even though they have the diagnostic from the Honda tech saying that it IS, in fact, faulty and needs to be changed to avoid further DYING in the middle of a busy intersection or interstate! When I contacted American Honda, they told me that it was just "Coincidental" and even DENIED that that was the case until I had PAPERS showing that it was from their very own technicians! Jerks.

It's awesome. Good on gas, right size for driving back and forth to work or anywhere else you want to go, the price was good and I don't have to make payments on the vehicle. I like the color and my family liked the vehicle.

I bought my 02 Accord brand new, and now have 174K on the clock. I've replaced the transmission 3 times, and finally found a shop here in San Francisco that built it correctly. They told me that Honda transmissions are unlike any other standard transmission design and they fail often. There's too much pressure kept in the torque converter, and not enough return fluid for the unit to function correctly. There are several aftermarket fixes, of course, that you have to pay for. When I picked my car up at the shop, there were 3 Accords, 3 Odysseys and 2 MDXs. I called American Honda to ask for some sort of help seeing as this is my 3rd time around the pony show - nothing. Shame on Honda for being so stupid in their design. I'm not going back for more.

Honda Accord 2003 purchased brand new and serviced by Honda until approximately 2 1/2 years ago. Many years ago, while the car was being serviced by Honda, I noticed a "small spot" on the front of the roof, which then got progressively larger and larger; it was eventually extremely noticeable when even glancing at the car. As this was happening, I began noticing the same type of spots around the edge of the car's hood and door edges. I really don't know anything about cars so didn't know what to do. At the same time, I wondered why the Honda service techs/mgrs never said anything to me about it, especially, since it got so bad. One day, I was searching online and found pictures of other people's Hondas that looked the same as mine - some with big spots on the cars where the paint had apparently peeled as well as others with peeling around the edges of hoods, roofs, doors, trunks... This is when I found out that Honda refuses to acknowledge and fix the fact that they manufactured cars with clear coat that was incompatible with the paint that was used on those same cars, which has resulted in the damage to these cars, which were sold to unsuspecting consumers. Until I found these pictures and articles, I had no idea what was and is still happening to my car, which I have taken very good care of.Today, I have no mechanical problems but my car's exterior looks terrible due to Honda's manufacturing error. Just because this is not a "safety" issue does not mean that Honda should not be held accountable to fix - at no charge to the consumer - their error in using clear coat and paint that is incompatible. 2 1/2 years ago when I found out what this problem was, I asked the Honda service mgr why he never mentioned the peeling spots on my car. He got very angry and defensive; in fact, he yelled at me. I told him that I was not blaming him for the problem but considering the extent of the problem, he and all Honda service techs/mgrs must know about it, yet, he and the techs chose to remain silent. The least they could have done was, if they could not admit to this being a Honda defect, they should have, at least, explained to me what was happening to the car and advised how to get it fixed. I've spent $1600 repainting the roof and hood; now I have to have the rest of the car repainted for $2000. Honda should be repainting my car at no charge to me and reimbursing me for the money that I spent fixing their known error/defect. Essentially, this should be a recall. Perhaps, it's not a safety recall but it is still significantly detrimental to Honda consumers. Unfortunately, we are only consumers and Honda, as a large multinational with high powered attorneys behind them, has the advantage. That said, I will never purchase another Honda again.

I have a new 2012 Honda Jazz Hybrid in my ownership. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car. But after the maintenance at 15,000 kilometers, the oil in the engine was replaced in one authorized Honda Israel service. After oil replacement, I just haven’t recognized my car responses. Also, the fuel consumption has increased a bit. In the service manual, it is suggested to use Honda Green Oil for all hybrid cars. The C/N is 0282P99S4LHE. Instead of this oil, they put inside C/N 0282P99G4LHE and they claimed that Honda approved this replacement. That’s the same answer I got from a local customer service agent. My request to put Green Oil wasn't successful. They told me that there is no Green Oil in stock and I have to order it 4 weeks before the next service on 30,000 kilometers. My question is what I am supposed to do in this situation? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2017 Honda CRV Touring. Bought in Nov. of 2017. Has 11, 500 miles on it. Counting the original battery it is now on its 3rd one. As of July 5, 2019 I have had the 6th dead battery. I've had every excuse under the sun for these. First one was that we had to keep the key fobs for electronic start more than 20 feet from the vehicle when not in use. Electrical components in them will drain the battery. Most recent excuse was we don't drive vehicle enough. Was told to take car out on the highway at least once a week, drive 10 miles at 50 MPH and then return 10 miles. This is necessary to keep the battery charged. Rarely does vehicle ever sit 1 day without being driven and driven every week multiple times over 20 miles at 50 MPH. Other people have had same complaints with identical vehicle. I am in process of filing claim under Pa. Lemon Law. My 2nd and last Honda.

Please note that I have a severe problem with my car, although I requested many times to check the sound that I've always heard from the first day I've purchased my car. And during my last service, I asked formally to check for this sound which has always repeated and asked them to mention it in the car job, and finally, they told me it is a small spare part that needs to be changed and it will cost 7,000 EGP!. How come I have to pay for an item which causes the problem that existed since the first day I purchased my car. Please, I need your support as I already did escalation in Honda Egypt, and no one even tried to call me.

I bought a 2011 Honda Accord. They said the car does start, but it doesn't. The engine has a big hole under which means that it is broken. But they did not mention it on the sale document. When I called, they did not help me at all. I need someone to help me in this case. Thank you.

This is on a Gold Wing. It is very reliable and most economical in maintenance. It is also the most comfortable bike on the market. It has more conveniences than any other bike on the market at this time.

I purchased a Honda Insight 2020 on the last day of 2020 and got a pretty good deal. I got a flat tire and called Honda Roadside assistance-- the car does not come with a spare. Only a box to blow the tire back up and I guess plug the hole with some time of goop. The instructions seemed daunting so I asked if the roadside assistance could help me with this and was told NO-- all they could do was tow the car. The first person I spoke with from Honda said they could transfer me to Honda care to help me walk through the steps but instead got another roadside assist person (I think his name was Aid, pronounced Ed)l. He could not understand me and kept asking the same questions when I explained it to him. It then turned out that the puncture was on the sidewall and the machine will not work when there is damage to the sidewall. Additionally, Honda would not let me ride in the tow truck. Normally a flat tire is not a big deal; if I had got help changing the tire I could have been on my way. Instead, the car needed to be towed and I needed to find another way home and had to wait a day for the tire to be changed. What if I had been far from home with no one to pick me up? I would have been stranded. It is absolutely irresponsible for Honda to put people in this situation. Honda should provide a free spare tire and kit. Mary Jo **.
