Ford Motor Company is an American multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. It was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated on June 16, 1903. The company sells automobiles and commercial vehicles under the Ford brand, and luxury cars under its Lincoln luxury brand. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is controlled by the Ford family; they have minority ownership but the majority of the voting power.

The 2022 Ford EcoSport is a subcompact SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a 2000-pound tow rating. Those two things are the height of its talents. Even before Ford gave it a death sentence—due to business decisions abroad—the tiny ute struggled to compete in a segment full of alternatives that drove better, had nicer interiors, and were more fuel-efficient. The EcoSport was never a very good value, and the introduction of the Ford Maverick pickup does it no favors. Not only is the small truck considerably more practical, it's also less expensive and sips less fuel. The only reasons the 2022 EcoSport is worth a look, besides what was previously mentioned, are its lofty driving position and maneuverability. Otherwise, it's worth overlooking.

Product Reviews:

Writing this because people have been complaining about this and wondering which direction to turn? My daughter's boyfriend was in need of a new car. I suggested the Ford Fusion so he purchased a new 2016 in December. The car now has 10,000 miles on it and it stopped running. We have had the car in the local dealership and they have found wires that have been chewed by rodents that number one are not covered by warranty. After going on to Google, I have found that this is a problem that many new car companies are finding. The wiring that is being used is of a material that rodents love and find irresistible to chew. My question is who is going to pay for this if warranty doesn't cover this? Do we have to sue? Also who do we sue? This is not going to be inexpensive? Just really can't believe with all the people complaining that something is not being done. Please respond -- you can call me **.

Ford had a recall on their subframe which was completed May 2011. I took my car to my mechanic July 2012 to be looked over. I found that the engine cradle (subframe is rusted out) left the front transmission mount vehicle not safe to drive. Also as stated by the ford dealership, Ford will not help. Ford passed the buck on to the Ford dealership that did the recall. In my opinion, the subframes should have been completely replaced, not reinforced. I cannot afford to get another car.

We own a 2004 Ford Freestar. It's been having transmission problems for a while. Ford, last year, sent out a recall. Every time we call the dealership, we are told that there are no parts available to do the repairs. It's been over 6 months now for this recall. My van has finally died and is now sitting in my driveway collecting dust. If I were just to drop it off, they would do the repair with what they have on hand but still say they don't have parts for the recall. Seriously? What do we do in this situation?

I own two Ford vehicles, a F350 Ford diesel King ranch 2016 and a 2018 Ford explorer Platinum two of Ford's top of the line vehicles. The Ford explorer third row electric seat began having issues within the warranty period at 21k miles and within 1 month of the vehicle warranty expiration. Just a couple of weeks after the expiration of the 36th month warranty but well within the 36k mile warranty (25k miles on The vehicle) third row seat would no longer operate (only having been used a few times). One of the main reasons we purchased the vehicle was for the third row seat for our grandchildren. After several trips to two different dealerships it was determined that the wire harness would need to be replaced and in order to do that apparently much of the vehicle needs to be disassembled. A very significant effort and expense to repair. I felt surely Ford would stand behind me and rectified what was clearly a defective mechanism. After several months of back and forth and Ford stringing me along ultimately they would not provide ANY assistance. Worse multiple requests for them to provide that decision in writing were simply ignored. I have never been so appalled at a major corporation's lack of professionalism in handling a customer service issue. My experience with them has left me realizing that FORD is a two-bit company not interested in customer service or standing behind their product. FORD NEVER AGAIN.

We have a chronic problem with a function on our vehicle. We have had to call roadside assistance every other month for the past while. Almost every time they send a towing company that doesn't service this area. I tell them when I call that this is a problem and to please send someone who services this area. They don't. So, after waiting for the tow truck company that does not service the area we have to wait for a tow truck company that does service the area!

My 2019 Ford Expedition limited, dealer's new car 3yr warranty isn’t being honored or taken as priority. No one answered call or voicemails and everything’s a fight with company. Stay away. I buy new cars every couple of years and my experience here is the worst. Stay away. And the 72,000 dollar car is only fourteen months old and is full of faulty equipment. Have documented proof.

We own a 2016 Ford eco boost F150 truck. At 20000 miles it had a catastrophic engine failure. The spark plug went into the piston which went into the head and destroyed it. We had it repaired at a Ford garage and after 3 weeks picked it up and on the way home from Alabama to Pennsylvania it failed on the interstate with major engine failure. At the time we were towing a trailer and used road side assist. We paid out of our pocket because they said we had to and have yet to be reimbursed even though they say we are approved and should never have had to pay ourselves. The truck had been repaired with zip ties and they did not hold and the fuel rail let fuel go over where and 6 heads needed replaced. We were told it was lucky we didn’t have a fire. We are asking for a buy back but we can’t get a response and none of our expenses have been paid. We were traveling and had hotel bills and rental vehicles as the parts for the first repair were not available. Disappointed in Ford.

I have a 2006 Ford F-150. Right after starting the truck the drivers side air bag blew in my face. It was like a bomb. The airbag exploded with such great force causing chest bruising, and lacerations, and little burns all over my arms and face. The bag started smoking and burning little holes in it, filling my lungs with smoke. I never received a recall for this. I took my truck to ford service yesterday, and they are being really nice to me.

I just traded my 2013 Edge to get the new and improved 2015 Edge... Have the EcoBoost 4 cylinder in both and the 2015 improvement on the motor is great but the rest I am not impressed. It came with the cheap mats Ford installs and so I ordered the all weather mats for another 95.00 only to find the driver mat doesn't even go up under the pedals where most of the crud falls off... Whats up with that Ford. I sure some DS blamed his accident on a pedal catching on the mat. Next the driver seat is terrible uncomfortable with the seat portion bolster way higher than the seat so I carry my weight on the outside of my thighs. I am not a huge guy at 5-9 190 either... Other complaint is they shrunk the controls behind the steering wheel and I find them more difficult to use. They are quieter inside but overall I wish I had my trade money back and still driving my 2013 Edge... Not really any improvement overall in my book. I will be looking for something else in a couple years for sure.
