I had to have the intake manifold replaced on my 1997 Ford Crown Victoria LX this year, 2014. Ford has acknowledged this flaw, avoided having an official recall issued, notified their Fleet & Commercial consumers and, quietly, without any sort of notification, offered private owners a repair/repair reimbursement offer that was only in effect for 90 days. This is an outrage! I want to be reimbursed for the money I had to spend to have this repair done. ANYBODY ELSE WITH ME ON THIS?!?

The car has 17250 miles on it, its 2014 Fiesta Titanium. I have been having transmission problems. Shuddering, shaking, jerking, jolting, sudden or delayed acceleration have all been problems. Low speeds seem to be an issue with it. It seems to shudder in between 1st and 2nd gears. I also have had it stall while in reverse. I have taken it to the Ford dealership, they are aware of the issue, have had multiple complaints, and said they would reprogram the software to make the shift changes more smooth. It is still exhibiting the same issues - harsh shuddering, gears slipping, clicking and noises. Its just a matter of time before this vehicle kills someone. I wasnt told that this car would operate any differently than any other car. The dealership says that all of these symptoms are normal for the kind of transmission that they sold me and that its still safe to drive. Even when I took it in to get reprogrammed for the shuddering, the technician said that its still going to do it. What?! It wasnt doing it before and now you want me to deal with a shuddering vehicle? And you say you still cant fix it? Thats terrible. Ive owned Fords all my life and this is my first new car and I feel like Ive made a terrible decision and its barely got 20,000 miles on it. More importantly, the safety. Ive had more than one close call with trying to accelerate and the transmission not responding in enough time to get out of the way. Operates unlike any other vehicle Ive owned and not in a good way.

I know Ford sells quite a few vehicles, but I hope that none of you Ford owners get a Lemon! I did and they agreed to do the right thing, but 5 shop visits, 65+ days out of service, and 6 months after they agreed to refund/replace a truck that is not even a year old... I am still waiting! All information has been turned in and have now gone thru 2 reps that do nothing including answering phone calls or returning emails. What is going on Ford Motor Company?

I was told it would cost me $972 to replace a water pump. WTF is that. I would feel better if they would have pulled a gun out to rob me instead. That is crazy. How much are mechanics making an hour? The parts were less than $200. The remaining was the cost for labor. I refused the repair and was charged $90 for an inspection. I will get the neighborhood mechanic to do it for less than $100. Ford has lost their mind and my Ford will be up for sale as soon as the repairs are complete.

Ford did a recall back in April. We had to wait 3 months for them to develop the software fix with no rental, no reimbursement, nothing. We been battling them all week. The fix did not work, and now they are putting it on the dealer. Left the dealership today as they have no idea what is wrong with the truck, how to fix it and we couldnt negotiate another deal. No one will take responsibility and the truck is not drivable. Ford Customer Service department are completely useless, they have nothing but sorry, too bad. This is our 3rd Ford and our last. Unreal, that a company like that can issue a letter advising the vehicle is not safe to drive, and then do nothing about it.

I like the sound system in the Mercury. Trunk is extremely roomy as well as the overall space and its a pleasure to drive when its not broke down. Love that the seats recline all the way back and the back seats fold in for added cargo space for the trunk. But Im not really pleased with this car like I would have hoped to be. It has been unreliable on several occasions and its giving me more headaches than pleasure breaking down on me. Also the console is way smaller than I expected and I wanted a deeper glove box. The drink holders arent adjustable for bigger cups which is very aggravating. I also wanted the car to come with 5 star rally wheels instead of standard spare tire. I wish that the overall length was a little bit bigger and the access to certain areas under the hood was better aligned for easier working space and the doors and windows access for the back seats are made ridiculous.

We own a 2004 Ford Freestar. Its been having transmission problems for a while. Ford, last year, sent out a recall. Every time we call the dealership, we are told that there are no parts available to do the repairs. Its been over 6 months now for this recall. My van has finally died and is now sitting in my driveway collecting dust. If I were just to drop it off, they would do the repair with what they have on hand but still say they dont have parts for the recall. Seriously? What do we do in this situation?

i bought a brand new right off the factory 2011 Ford Fiesta. All of the issues started after the first year at about 9000-10000 miles. I am just over 20000 miles. First the car would have problem accelerating. Took it to the shop. They just reprogrammed the transmission. That took care of it for a few months. Next during my oil change I found out that a part with the transmission was leaking so they replaced that. About 2 weeks ago my car was making odd noises and didnt know which gear to use especially at lower speeds, jerked severely when speeding up after a complete stop and wheels would just rotate before actually catching traction (tires are new) so they replaced the clutch. Today my car is there again because it is making a horrible metallic scratching noises when braking, turning or accelerating. They are saying my brake pads worn out (at 20000 miles) and it affected my rotor. So far I am still under factory warranty. If I was not all those repairs would probably cost me as much as the car itself. I dont want to wait till my warranty runs out and have to start dishing out money to repair a car that is still considered relatively new. I want them to replace my car or give me my money back. I am not taking that car back from the Ford service center.

Ford knows of all these issues and will not do a recall on faulty materials. Ive had Ford cars and trucks since 1975. The newer they get the cheaper their built, the more they cost. I wont buy another. Send out a recall on the cheap Wear out in time not usage parts body mount bushings. Stop using pencil erasers for rubber. A block of wood can last longer.

I purchased my Ford F450 Platinum (6.7 diesel fuel system) new. I have had this truck serviced at great expense since it was new and usually ahead of schedule. If ford service said it needed something I did it. If Ford service said it might need something I did it. I am now at 87k miles and had my High Pressure Fuel system go out. Ford dealer is telling me 10K dollars. Telling me I have purchased bad fuel but when they took a fuel sample there was no water in the fuel. So now Ford wont stand good for their product, the insurance probably wont pay for it because there is no evidence of contamination, and that leaves one option. I am going to be out 10K dollars. Not to mention at a time I am retiring from the military. Just plain sad. I am through with Ford.

I have a 2011 Mercury Milan that has a power steering assist fault and has stopped working. It starting happening in the summer of 2016 and would reset after turning the car off and then back on. It now has a message on the dashboard and says Power Steering Assist Fault and Advance Service Track. I researched and Ford has a recall on the same make, model and year but Ford says that my VIN number is not on the recall even my car is doing the same, exact thing and the power steering has failed. They are trying to charge me the diagnostic fee and refuse to fix my car even though there is a recall on this make, model and year. I need someones assistance! This is a danger to me and my family while driving. I do not have the funds to fix the vehicle. The part alone is $1,200 plus the labor. Ford Motor Company should be ashamed of themselves. Many other individuals have gotten in accidents because of this problem. They have totaled their vehicles and gotten hurt. Why cant Ford do the right thing and fix my vehicle? I am using all resources to announce this problem. I am so outraged and disappointed in Ford Motor Company. I am putting it out there to everyone not to ever buy a Ford and how they do not care about the lives and families who own their vehicle, and all of the recalls that they have on many different Ford vehicles. How can you have a recall on a vehicle and say that my VIN is not under the recall when it has the same, exact problem?? It is disgusting that this company can get away with this!!

The service manager said the car had been treated rough. I called the main company about this. Guess what? Its my problem. If, I have them fix it it will cost me 2000.00. If, I fix it itll cost me 800.00 and voids all warranties. I tried talking to the service manager. He told me to go away. I was wasting his time. Ive always been a fan of Ford. Not anymore. My family won’t buy them anymore. I tell people how they treated me. Now I have to pay this garage 90.00 to get my car back. This is a bunch of **. People dont buy a Ford.

I just traded my 2013 Edge to get the new and improved 2015 Edge... Have the EcoBoost 4 cylinder in both and the 2015 improvement on the motor is great but the rest I am not impressed. It came with the cheap mats Ford installs and so I ordered the all weather mats for another 95.00 only to find the driver mat doesnt even go up under the pedals where most of the crud falls off... Whats up with that Ford. I sure some DS blamed his accident on a pedal catching on the mat. Next the driver seat is terrible uncomfortable with the seat portion bolster way higher than the seat so I carry my weight on the outside of my thighs. I am not a huge guy at 5-9 190 either... Other complaint is they shrunk the controls behind the steering wheel and I find them more difficult to use. They are quieter inside but overall I wish I had my trade money back and still driving my 2013 Edge... Not really any improvement overall in my book. I will be looking for something else in a couple years for sure.

I just bought a 2016 Ford FX4 crew cab truck. I have been driving Ford vehicles all my life and thought I would never even consider another make. Well, that may change. This truck has been a big disappointment from day one. Following is my review... I switched from a 3.5 EcoBoost to a 2.7 EcoBoost in hopes that I would get better mileage. Not only is it worse than the 3.5, the economy readout on the dash is consistently 2.5-3.5 mpg less than the actual mileage. I have Checked every tank since I bought it. The Ford SYNC is a joke. The most user unfriendly system I have encountered. And I leave my iPod connected all the time and never touch it. The radio recognizes it about 50% of the time. I have changed power cords twice thinking there may be a short. But no change. If it was a short it would also affect it while playing. But when it plays it works perfectly. The driver side window does what it wants to sometimes. It may go down when you want it up. Or vice versa. The structural rigidity of this truck is nothing like my 2014. It jiggles and shakes like a 1981 Pontiac when on uneven pavement. The worst gas filler ever! Every time I lock the fuel nozzle on and wait for it to fill up, it clicks off the nozzle like its supposed to, but you better not be standing behind it! Almost every fill up dumps a quart of gas all over the ground. The driver door speaker is already buzzing and vibrating. The coating in the bed is useless. Its like a sheet of greasy ice. Everything slides all over the bed, so I have to lock it down. I have yet to figure out how the trailer back up assist works. For the amount of money this truck costs, Ford really screwed up on this one. I will be looking elsewhere soon. Id like to have my 2014 back.

I bought my Ford Five Hundred 10 years old with only 85,000 miles and am enjoying it. I wanted one when they first came out, so I was delighted when I saw this one at such a good deal. Its seat is a couple inches higher than other cars, so it is easier for me to get in and out of with my old knees, and the A/C works great, which is a must in Texas! Its an older car, so it doesnt have wi-fi technology. I might install wi-fi if I thought Id be keeping the car forever. And it has leather seats, which I really dont like -- too hot for Texas summers!

My 2015 Ford Taurus was not completely shutting off after I turned off my car. The car was staying in accessory mode. I took it in for service and they said they could not find anything wrong. They told me I had to replace the battery. Diagnosis was a bad cell. I bought this car as a certified pre-owned and they replaced the battery before I bought the vehicle, they put the lowest-priced battery in the car. The date stamp on the battery was 4/2017, and another sticker that said 3/36 meaning 3 years or 36,000 miles. I assumed that 3/36 was on the battery but apparently that is for the car warranty. Per Ford Customer Relations and the dealership, the date stamp means nothing and the battery would not be covered. Just keep this in mind if you experience this same problem. They offered me two different batteries, both were way overpriced compared to an auto parts store. You are better off saving a trip to the dealer and paying a deductible ($100.00 for me) and just go to your local auto parts store, get a battery that they will warranty!

After 16 yrs of almost impeccable service my wifes 2001 Mazda Tribute XL engine failed with 165k miles. We got a lot of enjoyment and an excellent quality vehicle. So we started a search for a new product Toyota Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-5 excellent engineering and very dynamic, Ford Explorer. Mist full size SUVs have 3 rows of seats and are too large to fit in out 3 car garage. I was never really impressed with the Ford Escape 2010 and earlier. Tested a 2012 with 80k miles and it ran well but the dealer price of 16k was too high. Found another 2012 with sunroof and 56k miles. Not bad but 5k. Finally we tested a Ford Escape XLT FWD 4 cyl with 25k miles in mint condition. Bought in the spot for 14k from a private party (Craigslist), added Ford bumper to bumper warranty 4 yr 36k miles additional for $2k.This is an impressive high quality vehicle with good technology, excellent power, 32 miles highway 26 city. Since we bought in the past 3 months have not a single problem. Just delights & surprises. Kudos to Ford Motor Company for building such an outstanding well designed right sized product. Too bad the 2013 and on design new look like most oriental mini SUVs. I highly recommend this product to all my friends and foes.

I know many of you already know how angry I am at Ford, but let me just tell yall about how Mark Martin Ford and Kia in Batesville, AR has made it worse. Keep in mind, Ive already had to have three other recall issues fixed (one of which is the clutch which is getting fixed again). So my car had stopped turning off for a week or so when I pressed the off button. Even when I left the vehicle and took my keys, it sounded like the engine continued to run for another ten minutes until it went off although the internal stuff turned off. On top of that, it had been hesitating to accelerate and shuddering, making it difficult and sketchy to drive. Which by the way, is an issue of which a class action lawsuit was filed against Ford and Ford lost a couple years ago.My battery had been tested a few days before this even happened and it was good. Almost a week ago, the engine wouldnt turn on when I tried to start it, but all of its internal lights and components turned on and wouldnt shut off. It became a very loud blinky, electrical hassle to get them to turn off. My cousin came over to try to jump my battery but nothing happened. He tested it at that time and it showed the battery was fine. Ford towed it to their service department and I didnt hear anything except that they wouldnt be able to look at it until late Friday. So I didnt hear anything until Monday when they said my problem was I just had a bad battery. And that I would have to pay at least $130 for that. They also said they would have to replace my clutch but that would be covered under warranty. At no point did they explain why my car wouldnt shut off when it should have, but they said itll be ready today. I said I disagreed on the battery and the service manager said well you can have your old battery back and not pay a thing then. But still no explanation of why my car wouldnt shut off and said that couldnt be related to my battery going bad overnight. Mark Martin Ford had my car for two days before even looking at my car. So in my mind, my battery went bad somewhere between that Thursday morning and whenever they looked at it on Friday or Monday morning.I called Ford customer service corporate where they gave me a case number and told me the service manager at Mark Martin Ford and Kia would call me about it which didnt happen. When I called him, he told me he didnt even know what a case number was and said I needed to call Ford. I called Ford and they said its the dealerships problem, call them. Both of them hyperfixated on the fact that my battery was dead and didnt explain or care about the other issues. So, how they are going to resolve it: put my old, now bad battery back on and I can take it as is, no payment necessary. Instead of fixing the actual problem of my car not turning on and off when it should. Sounds like the professional type of Ford service youll hear about when you get put on hold for forty minutes. They both said maybe I should talk to the manager. Flashback to six months after I even bought the car when I talked to the manager and he told me it was my problem because I bought the car to begin with. This after I had already had a leak, had to spend a month and a half to even get a spare key, and dealt with one or two recall issues where after they fixed it, I had problems after. He and Ford, as a company, have reminded me how bad of a reputation Ford has and why I never want to deal with them again. I have no idea why I let myself get talked into buying a Ford in the first place but it was a mistake all around. I want to urge yall to never buy a Ford Fiesta or Focus at the very least and to reconsider going to Mark Martin Ford in the future for a car. I paid full asking price for this car and it has plagued me and will continue to plague met until I get rid of it.

Due to past help with constructing the PeaceNet a small International Netwo
Due to past help with constructing the PeaceNet a small International Network; that ultimately turned into the Internet, I can do things most people cannot. The e-mail explains the problems I am having with a Ford Escape. It is a new car with less than a thousand miles on it that is viewed as a deathtrap. Even more problems have come up by research that make the situation even worse. Every time the word Ford comes down the Internet, I am sent the e-mail address. Other words in the e-mail such as purchase can be used to define the list. I have amassed the e-mails of thousands of people that are considering purchasing something from Ford. The Ford resolution department has tried to solve the problem by giving me the X-Plan pricing. The problem is that I would purchase a Ford Edge which is a much safer car and I can get my wife and family to ride in. I have not been able to make a deal on an Edge even though I have the reduced pricing on the Edge because I cannot get the zero percent 72 month financing like I have on the Escape. I am 75 years old, my wife and I live on Social Security and have a house that has expenses plus living expenses that happen even though the house is paid for. I have a credit rating of 815. I live as economically as possible; no extra anything and never go to restaurants or any kind of entertainment. However, a large car payment does not fit into the budget. 72 month or 84 month would be ideal. I have had the Escape repaired at the finest body shop around and carries a lifetime guarantee on the work. Everybody at Ford Resolution is telling me I have to go to Ford Finance for the longer terms. I am going to lose money on the trade in even though it has only three digit miles on it. I have tried to get Ford to take the car back and they will not. Their resolution is that they give me a low price on the purchase, but the dealers will not give me the same finance arrangement. So I am appealing to Ford Finance. There are dealers in the far North area of Chicago that have longer Zero percent financing. I dont know if they use Ford Financing or not. Purchasing a car at a dealer 80 miles away makes no sense. If I cannot make a deal at a price and financing, then I must do my e-mail campaign. I am ready to send thousands of e-mails everyday to people around the world telling them the five points that I have found, as an Engineer by trade, that makes this car dangerous and risky to drive. I go into great detail about this. I have nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. I would not let one of them ride in the rear area of this Ford Escape. The way that glass rear window just exploded after the accident is real scary. Glass came up into the front area like it was a bullet. It is my duty as a responsible citizen to do this.

I love that for a small hatchback it sits higher and has more headroom than all its peers. It has excellent acceleration as well as a very responsive ABS braking system, compared to its competitors in this class. The Ford Sync system and USB plug-ins were state-of-the-art when I bought it in 2013, and still work great. It has good shocks and very comfortable seats with lumbar support. The split, lay-flat rear seat gives a huge cargo space for a small car. Of all the hybrids in this class, this one sounded like the best on paper and turned out to meet or exceed my expectations...and still gets nearly 40 mpg on the highway. The one thing that wasnt well made was the handle release for lowering the rear seats. One side broke away from the cables under the seat so it doesnt work to lower the seat and is very expensive to fix- requires a total seat replacement, over $1000. So not worth it to me now.

Ford Motor Company dont want business from US citizens of Puerto Rico... On November 24, 2017 at the Central Florida International Auto Show I was enjoying a great Auto Show especially looking at the Pickup trucks inside the Orlando Convention Center. Ford, Nissan and Chevy pickups were my top pick for my next purchase, the only other thing that I needed to was to test drive them. So after spending all day at the show I went outside and test drove with Nissan, Dodge and others with my Puerto Rico drivers license with no issues. But when I stop at the Ford Test drive tent I show my Puerto Rico drivers license like I did with the other 3 locations and was notify that it was no good, only US driver license. I told the lady that Puerto Rico is part of the United States but she didnt care. Last time I check Ford has dealerships in the island of Puerto Rico. As a US citizen and a US service member, I felt disappointed, disrespect... Ford Motor Company lost a customer... and hopefully many more.

1st was given wrong price, then was told was not able to use my part but did anyway. Truck was returned 1st for leaking antifreeze, then oil and then both. After being told no rental was available for days, I finally just left it there (yes mad as hell I was paying cab after paying 400+). When I came to pick it up was told they wasnt going to fix it cause the part wasnt purchased by Ford! Part had been taken off 4 times by Ford and now they say its defective! The part that I was told wouldnt be used! Lynn response after many calls not returned your car is old you just need to replace it, my response you are old, does that mean Ford needs to replace you? She hung up and will not return calls!

9.18.16 Backed halfway under carport (late evening). 15/20 min later while in the bed unloading camping gear I heard crackling noise. Looked over cab and saw smoke and flames coming from engine compartment. It happened so fast. The wind was not in my favor as I smelled nothing. Fire concentrated on passenger side but truck is a total loss. Fire dept. took an ax to the hood cause the linkage was melted and they couldnt open hood to put fire out (strange why they choose that spot). No indication as to why or how this happened. Only 68K miles. I am devastated. I made this truck unique with custom adds and it was MINE!! I am a die hard FORD Lady and now not so sure I want to replace it with another one. My heart is broke.

2016 Ford Edge Titanium - this is my everyday commuter vehicle and I have to say that the overall driving experience, quality and features available at this price point is very disappointing. At ~ 40,000km I had the brake pads replaced and rotors machined which was surprising because I’m very easy on the brakes. At 45,000km my sunroof malfunctioned/wouldn’t close so it had to be replaced. The dealer broke my sunshade while replacing my sunroof so it had to be replaced. The icing on the cake was that the back window shattered for no reason (I literally mean no reason!) at 88,000km. I’ve owned several good/reliable Ford vehicles (08 Ford Escape Limited, 2013 Taurus SHO, and 2007 Ford F-150 FX4) and I can’t believe how much the quality has declined. This has been a very disappointing and regrettable purchase for me. There are lots of vehicles in this segment where you get more bang for your buck. Stay away from the Edge!

The 1998 Mercury Mountaineer is a durable reliable car and I was able to get a good deal. It was only $2000 and has over 150,000 miles on it. The color is dark green and I like how it has a sun roof and that it has all-wheel drive. We have owned this car for about two years and hasnt been expensive to keep up with maintenance. The car only gets about 12 miles to the gallon so I wish that the gas mileage could be improved and be like that of the Honda I used to own.

Had not bought a vehicle in some years. Always go through Carfax but this time I couldnt. I was told I had a great deal to have the 2016 Ford Edge out the door for 25,000. Got home, checked Carfax and found they were advertising it for 22,901. They lied for a few hundred dollars. They will never get my business because they are deceptive. This was the second car from Gwinnett Place Ford. The first was a new 2001 Ford Ranger and we had to be real sharp and after maybe 5 to 6 hours, they finally honored the buy. This time they got away with the usual tactics. I will never ever buy another product from them, ever again. I am a Navy Veteran and I am disabled. A few hundred dollars is like thousands to me and my retired wife. Will also tell anyone else who wants to know about my experience with them. Thank you.

First off if I could take away the star I was required to give I would. I own a 2001 Ford Excursion, have wanted one for some time, after purchasing the truck I was completely satisfied with it. But a very short time later I experienced my first spark plug that blew out. Luckily (why I dont know) it didnt take the threads the first time out. Well tonight I have now experienced my total of my third plug blowing out. Money for me does not come easy, and I can assure you the money I spend on a truck will not line the pockets of Ford Motor Company in the future. I know my claim alone is not enough to make a difference, after all its FORD MOTOR COMPANY, one of the if not the largest motor vehicle company in the world. They have all kinds of money. Well they have received the very last dollar from my pocket on anything of their products.Sure they have some nice looking cars/trucks. But that alone is not enough. I have other cars here with half a million miles on them, yes literally half a million miles and not once, not one time ever have they ever blown a plug out of the motor. And for a company the size of Ford to sit and do nothing, well thats just unacceptable to me. I am 100% interested in anyones class action lawsuit that they may put together, and I’ll make sure I spread the word in any forum, car boats or the like about the ongoing problem with FORD MOTOR COMPANY. We live in the age of internet, to have a problem like this and do nothing, well its a time bomb. Sure the company will carry on and probably never hear or see my issues but I can assure you that there are thousands of people that will. Thank you and I apologize to any other ford owners experiencing the same as I have. It just plain sucks. I can be reached **. Thank you for your time.

I too had my front right coil spring failed on my 2002 Taurus. It punctured the tire at 55mph. I just had it looked at and would require a repair cost of $570. Looks like Im not the only one. Just remember this fellow owners, all manufacturers sell these cars, only the good ones stand behind their product. Simple, is Ford a good company or mediocre? Will you continue to support a company that does not stand behind its product? I will no longer support Ford until this issue is resolved. Sounds like a class action to me. Step up to the plate Ford or is the company simply mediocre? F.O.R.D. = Flat Or Road Deflating.

We drove a very short way to our local tractor supply company to pick up feed. I was in the store for about 15 minutes. When I got to the register someone said, Theres a truck on fire in the parking lot! The fire had just started. It was up in flames and burnt to a crisp in less than ten minutes. Flames shot 20 feet up in the air and it melted the pavement under the truck. We would have been dead if it had happened twenty minutes sooner. The fire department made it in good time, but the truck was already totaled. Everything in the cab was ruined, including all three childrens car seats. Thankful I have comprehensive insurance. Its a total loss. I have no truck. >:-o Up until this point, this truck ran like a top and was very reliable.

On Saturday, November 14th, I came outside to start my car, the car would not turn and I had a notice to Service Power Steering Now. Just the day before the car drove fine no issues. I researched the issue and it is well known and also had a class action lawsuit against it. When speaking to Ford Motor Company, they had no desire to fix the issue because it was not recalled, although thousands of 2010 Ford Fusions have this issue. I spoke to the local Ford Dealership who has my car and the service tech said this is 99.9% not my fault and there is nothing I could have done to prevent this from happening because it is an Electrical System Failure. In trying to get the issue resolved for my American car, I spoke to several unpleasant representatives in the Philippines and they said there is nothing they can do and they can’t escalate my case.Ford stated that because my car is over $60k, it is not covered under warranty but this again is a well known issue. I would like for Ford to own up to their mistake while creating this vehicle and cover the expense. If you really think about it, Ive seen over 4k complaints in regards to this same issue, each one of us had to $1,800 to repair a part that was 99.9% not our fault. I need for James Hackett to consider recalling the 2010 Ford Fusion Power Steering for the safety of our children and families. What if my 9 year old daughter was in the car and it happened while I was driving. Ford is putting many lives at risk. And it is not fair that I have an American car and have to speak to someone in the Philippines regarding my vehicle. They dont care, they want a paycheck. Writing this because people have been complaining about this and wondering which direction to turn? My daughters boyfriend was in need of a new car. I suggested the Ford Fusion so he purchased a new 2016 in December. The car now has 10,000 miles on it and it stopped running. We have had the car in the local dealership and they have found wires that have been chewed by rodents that number one are not covered by warranty. After going on to Google, I have found that this is a problem that many new car companies are finding. The wiring that is being used is of a material that rodents love and find irresistible to chew. My question is who is going to pay for this if warranty doesnt cover this? Do we have to sue? Also who do we sue? This is not going to be inexpensive? Just really cant believe with all the people complaining that something is not being done. Please respond -- you can call me **.

I drove my 2001 F-150 to the store today, came home and parked it in my apartment complexs parking lot at approximately 3:30PM. My wife came home at around 9PM to find my truck engulfed in flames. I have had no serious issues with this truck since I bought it 10 years ago. Tonight, it burst into flames and I looked up on spontaneous combustion on Ford trucks on a whim and find this a pretty common occurrence. Part unavailable for my 2015 F-350. I purchased this truck in April of this year. It is a King Ranch. Shortly after picking up the truck a couple of warning lights came on. Took it back to the dealership and was told it needs a RCM Harness which was currently unavailable. The truck was still in warranty so I left it with the dealership awaiting a part. That was April 19, 2019. The truck is still there and there is no ETA on this part. Ford customer service has sent me an email regularly saying there is no idea when this will be available. In the meantime I have a brand new camper (5th wheel) and no way to use it. I have been told this is not uncommon for this model and I wonder why it is taking so long for a part to be available. I feel Ford as well as the dealership should offer some serious compensation for this as the previous owner traded it due to this problem (he told me) and the dealership did not disclose it however Ford has not addressed the issue.

My only complaint was the facing around the shifter reflected the sun in the most intense way. I wish they would have used the same material that was used on the dash. Great gas mileage. I chose to use full synthetic oil from day one. Ive had one issue with this vehicle, the radio would not turn off causing the battery to drain. Ford replaced, no problem. I upgraded my tires. I will definitely add images of my Ford F150 truck explosions and how quick
I will definitely add images of my Ford F150 truck explosions and how quickly the truck burned up our home. My favorite Ford F150 4X4 $45,000.00 Lariat SuperCrew truck (which I usually park inside my home/garage) burned and exploded several times, burning down my home (especially half the home/roof). Flames and black smoke filled the home entirely. Ford advertised for years their Ford trucks are built Ford tough. My stepbrother, a 20-plus years New York police officer, worked many overtime hours at and around ground zero (after 9/11) and I decided to buy American, put money back into building the American economy after 9/11, help Americans keep their jobs in the car manufacturing business, etc. So I purchased a new 2001-2001 Ford F150 4x4 SuperCrew Lariat truck with the best intentions based on supporting the American economy after 9/11 and based on Fords advertisement for many years that Ford trucks are built Ford tough.Nevertheless, I found out at 12:30 am, August 10, 2006, after discovering my truck burning and exploding with flames shooting from the hood and quickly engulfing the truck, flames spreading and quickly covering my home, etc. Then years later, after being lied to and lied on repeatedly day after day, month after month, year after year, 5-6 years down the horrible road of complete fall out after a fire disaster and our lives have been completely disrupted, torn apart, traumatized so severely my health, family and a good decent spacious home, nicely furnished, great property and everything else has been ripped away and destroyed to a point of no return as a direct result of the horrible mistreatment, we were received by Ford Motor Co. and their investigators and representatives. We were told 5-6 years after the fire that Ford has had this problem since early 1990s and have allowed people to purchase their vehicles without sending customers recall notices; thus, many families and children have died in Ford fires and have had serious health issues that often lead to death as a result of the significant stress from dealing with the mistreatment by Ford and their affiliates, etc. See also Fire Under the Hood,” which discussed how a four-year-old beautiful soul, Blake Washington, died after the familys Ford Expedition spontaneously burned up in their garage. The family suffered for years after being mistreated, ignored, and disrespected so horribly. Blakes mom died 4-5 years later (around February 2009) from a broken heart, auto-immune system failure and many stress-related health issues spiraling from her losses. Around 2009-2011, I read an article written by Blakes mom and dad, Tanika and Juan Washington (a military family). They wrote a detailed article about how bad Ford and Texas Instruments treated them after their Ford Expeditions defect caused a fire and burned their home and daughter. When will the President, U.S. Congress, and responsible officials help all of us who have had our lives ruined and experienced significant losses as a direct result of Ford Motor Co., Texas Instrument, and DuPonts pure negligence and criminal responsibility of making defective products costing billions of dollars that they know cause significant loss of life, liberty, privacy, property and that has systematically destroyed the entire lives of many families? We need responsible officials to help, such as the, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. President, Congress, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Brenan Center for Justice and MoveOn.org, Change.Org and every human rights and U.S. Constitutional rights organizations and attorneys who are not afraid to step up and help make the lives better of millions of Americans citizens and millions of U.S. military families who have suffered profusely. As long as Ford Motor Co., Texas Instruments, DuPont, and all the Ford dealerships can get away with making billions in profits knowingly selling defective products that cause loss of life, health, property, etc., these companies will continue to do so without any mercy whatsoever on the American public. A little injustice anywhere leads to a whole lot of injustice everywhere. And when good people know that evil exist and fail to take action to stop it, then they too are just as evil as those committing evil act. This is nothing less than homegrown domestic terrorism: to purchase a truck thats like a ticking time bomb. You never know when it’ll explode. We learned 5 years after the fire by an expert in our case that when the gears start sticking in park or drive and you have to wiggle the gear handle to change gears, thats a sign that the vehicle is in trouble. Its a very, very small minor technicality that people dont even think twice about when they may have a little trouble changing gears from park to reverse or drive and most people are rushing off to get to work, home, etc., and never even suspecting this is a small signal to a major product defect. Ford would rather wait you out with their highly paid attorneys than pay middle class or working poor people any significant compensation to get your life back on track and make you whole after their trucks caused disaster.

I have a 2012 Ford F350 with 59,300 miles on it. The first transmission service is due at 60,000 miles so I took it to Spradley Barr Ford in Colorado. They advised me that all I needed to do was flush the system and NOT drop the pan to change the filter, that is not needed until the next service at 120,000 miles according to them. I said I wanted the filter changed for an additional $ 120.00 or so. Good thing I did because they found a bunch of metal in the pan. They are covering it under warranty, however they have had my WORK truck for TWO MONTHS and four days now due to a back ordered part. They have told me THREE times that it will be in soon, what a bunch of crap. Ford has rebuilt transmissions in crates available but they just said Too bad. So sad for you. You can wait. Ford is useless and has no customer service in mind. Previously I had a 2002 Ford F350 diesel for fourteen years (2002-2016), I guess Ford loyalty is in the trash. The dealer even said Ford is not supporting the dealerships, WOW what a statement. If I EVER get my truck back it will be sold ASAP and off to Chevy I go. Furthermore I called their customer service line (a misnomer at best) and what does Ford do? They send you a questionnaire that asks if the call taker was polite, helpful etc... 2011 Crown Victoria - At 40K miles the vent control module stopped working. At the same time the cigarette lighter and 12 volt accessory plug started experiencing intermittent power failures. I had the dealer check out both problems and they said it would cost $1000 to replace the vent control module (plenum) and air box. They could not find any electrical problems with the cigarette lighter and accessory plug.I had my mechanic replace the plenum and air box for $850. Parts were $350 and the Ford dealer had 20 plenums and air boxes in stock. Seems Ford knows there is a problem with these units and they keep plenty in stock. Its a quick money maker for them it seems. Electrical problem - I tested the cigarette lighter and found that there was a problem with the ground wire. I removed the drink tray to get to the wiring and discovered that ground wires had been connected using a flat wire connector. Over time the wires were so flattened by the connector that they had broken off. I removed the flat connector and re-connected the wires using a standard round crimp connector. Problem solved. The Crown Victorias have been produced by Ford for over 10 years and you would assume that most problems would have been resolved during that time. Unfortunately, it seems that Ford keeps using cheap parts in their vehicles and the owners of these vehicles will constantly be on the hook for repairs. No wonder ford sales continue to decline.

Purchased a Ford Transit 2020 from this place. I submitted my review for Ford.com but they did not publish it because it was a one star. Two main reasons for one star: They sold me a car without passenger seat. I thought I can install a seat. When I went to pick up the car, they told me it doesn’t have any passenger airbags. Factory removed them! If they have told me I would never buy this car. It is not safe to operate. It took them one 8 days to finish the paper work for my car, and they only did it because I keep following up with them.I purchase that car remotely, by phone. We agreed on a price that was 300$ less than MSRP. They called me after a while saying that somebody else is willing to buy the car for the whole MSRP price and I need to pay the full price if I want it. Who changes his word for 300$, one a 50+K$ car? They removed a 1$ Funnel in the car to fill it from a canister. In my way home, I ran out of gas. I went to a gas station and filled a canister and came back then I couldn’t find the funnel to fill the tank and had to wait a long time for road side assistant. The passenger door on my brand new 2020 car rattled sometime and you have to open and close it several times to fix this. Need to the new car to the dealership. The MPG is way lower than what advertised.

I had my truck parked in front of my house on January 2011. I left the car running outside and went inside the house. When I looked outside my car was on fire under the hood. I just had time to call the fire department. If we hadnt looked outside our house would have been burnt and my family in danger. I didnt have full coverage. I had a total loss on that car. I contacted Ford Motor Company to make a complaint and I was told that there was no recalls on that truck for that specific year. I did many researches online and found many trucks the same year had caught fire just like mine and that there were only recalls from 1999 to 2003 due to the same issue that happened to my 2004 truck.

Ford had a recall on their subframe which was completed May 2011. I took my car to my mechanic July 2012 to be looked over. I found that the engine cradle (subframe is rusted out) left the front transmission mount vehicle not safe to drive. Also as stated by the ford dealership, Ford will not help. Ford passed the buck on to the Ford dealership that did the recall. In my opinion, the subframes should have been completely replaced, not reinforced. I cannot afford to get another car.

I own a 2006 Ford LCF truck purchased May 2007 cost $32,000.00. But after 7 years and 46000 miles, the repair and tow cost me over $17,000.00. Nov. 2009, mileage 19419 - replace starter and belt tensioner $1,600.00. Dec 2011, mileage 34983 - replace 2 fuel injector, main computer, cam sensor, crank sensor, $2,772.45. After talked to customer service the bill is $5,400.00. Dec 2013, mileage 46000 - replace all (6) fuel injector, $3,31.37 and oil pump $1,956.10. The truck still not fixed right. Then I brought the truck to a Ford dealer in **. They said there is another repair needs to be done. The fuel tank and whole fuel system is contaminate - will cost me $3,500.00 because the lining of the tank is contaminated and Ford Corp knows about this defect parts and doing nothing. I talked the person in charge of the commercial truck department. They said it is true about the tank, but they also say it is the oil company.

I own a 2011 Ford Edge with 60K miles. The entire SYNC system crashed, which has been an issue for FORD and this feature since they issued an extended warranty but not a recall. So therefore, since my warranty is outside about 2 months, Im stuck with a repair bill of over $1000 to which FORD will not even try to offset AT ALL. Totally unacceptable on a vehicle with such low mileage! Never had such an issue with TOYOTA. Shouldve stuck with them! FORD wants consumers to purchase their products yet they wont even back them! Its a shame. Theyve lost this customer for life. NEVER AGAIN.

I am in South Africa and bought 2016/2017 Ford Everest Limited and have had endless issues with it. The latest is the sensor on the steering rack failure which Ford now has to replace the whole steering rack for the second time. Once the sensor fails it disables all the driver assist features. I am concerned for my safety and do not know what the future will be with this car. I have done some research and have seen that Ford in the past had similar problems with steering rack failures. Can you help in any way please?

I purchased my 2012 Ford Fiesta in September of 2015. When I test drove it, it ran great and was excellent on gas. I needed something since I commute an hour each way for work. About a month after I purchased it, I began to have issues with the transmission. It would shutter and stall when shifting gears when taking off, or would seem like it was skipping a gear when taking off. I went into the Ford dealer in Santa Fe where I work and they basically said that is the way the transmission is designed and wouldnt even look at it. I proceeded to take it to a dealer in the town I lived in and they ended up replacing the clutch and reprogramming the TCM. This worked for a few months and now I have the same issue, on top of a engine light coming on and off, and a rattle when the car is turned off. Ive taken it back to the dealer to be told its not a transmission issue but engine codes and of course more money to be spent. Ive complained multiple times about these issues as Ive done research and see that this is an all too common issue. Now Im talking with a second customer service manager for Ford and hope to hear some good news about them either fixing the car or buying it back. Quite honestly the worst car and worst customer service experiences Ive had with any car Ive owned. I will never purchase a Ford again because of it.

In 2016, we purchased a Ford Focus (with the dreaded automatic dual clutch) with ~35,000 miles. We paid extra for a 100,000 mile extended warranty. Within the first few months of owning it, it started shuddering. We took it in and they suggested we use an aftermarket air filter (green filter). We did so, and the shuddering was reduced.Five years later, the car has 67,000 miles on it and it started shifting pretty hard and the shuddering was more pronounced. We took it in and I told them I suspected the TCM was bad (which was still under warranty). They told me I was wrong and it was the clutch (which of course, isnt under warranty). I said that didnt sound right because the clutch was rated for 100,000 miles... So either the TCM was bad, the TCM caused the transmission to shift improperly, which caused the clutch to wear out prematurely, or it was a defective clutch. We went back and forth and they ENSURED me that it was the clutch. $1,600 and a new clutch later, they call me back and tell me Actually, I guess it IS the TCM. When I asked about a refund for the clutch, they told me to pound sand. The car has now been in the shop waiting on a warranty repair for the TCM for over four months. We call weekly for an update and there is still no expected completion date. They said it could be as long as a year. We just want to get it repaired and sell the piece of crap so we dont ever have to deal with this headache again.

The Transit Connect wagon is a surprisingly well appointed mini van costing much less than the competitors. This vehicle has been a big hit in Europe for several years and is now breaking into the US market. It has great visibility, a very responsive engine, and plenty of room for 6 passengers. It drives and handles well. I especially like that the back seats fold down flat. We can safely haul our 4 dogs in 4 midsize hard shell dog crates (two side by side in the back, and two facing either sliding side doors) and still have room for gear and luggage. I’m very fond of the wireless cellphone cubby in the dash, no changing cables! It has separate climate controls and comfortable heated seats for the driver and front passenger.

I bought a 2016 Limited Ford Explorer in November 2016, I was actually spoiling myself with a vehicle that wasnt 5+ years old. When purchasing from the dealership I had nothing but problems with the driving, had to take back multiple times as the alignment was very off. Turns out I was being sold the vehicles with tires that wouldnt pass inspection. So I just decided never to go to or use that dealership again. Now fast forward not even 4 years later. I was driving down the highway when suddenly I lose all power steering. I managed to get my vehicle back to my local Ford Dealer. I now need the entire steering rack replaced. That costs $2100 plus tax. This is ridiculous for a vehicle that is less than 5 years old. Called customer service and they say they will mark it as a case but until they have many of the same complaints or problems and Ford releases a statement there is nothing they can do about it.I am just so appalled at lack of concern Ford has shown that this young vehicle has this serious of a problem. This is defective and should not be blowing like this. Weve always been a Chevy family & took a chance on this vehicle, what a wrong decision I have made. I have never had to drop that kind of money on any vehicle, I drove my Chevy Trailblazer well past 200,000 miles before I had anything more than your wear & tear issues.I remember over a course of a summer I had to drop about $3000 overall for those wear & tear issues. Now I have no vehicle of my own to drive until this is repaired and I have to wait a few days for parts to be shipped. So what am I driving while I wait for mine to be fixed? Well I am driving my Dads old pickup, a 2005 Chevy Silverado. I had loved this vehicle up until now, and I am going to now look at getting rid of it because what other major problem is going to happen next. Plus I was lucky this time that no one got hurt, that I didnt get into or cause an accident when I suddenly lost steering control on a highway of 65 mph.

Purchased a used Ford Freestyle 2007 model. Leather sunroof, six-disc CD changer, third-row seats with 50k miles. After my PT cruiser started going dead from a Turnersville Kia dealership in NJ. I experienced no issues with the car at first. At 160,000 miles the vehicle begin doing things like jerking while Im driving and its accelerating forward when my foot was not on the accelerator. I was told it was due to a dirty throttle body. Within three months of this happening on my way home from work on the highway, the vehicle all of a sudden would not accelerate after stopping in traffic. I had the car towed and was told by a trusted mechanic it was my transmission. Every other mechanic I took the car to get a second opinion also said that exact thing, it is the transmission. Apparently the type of transmission Ford put in this car (SVT) not only sucks in regards to quality but also is incredibly difficult to rebuild or to put a new one in. My total cost to put in a new transmission would be somewhere around $6000, the car is only worth $3000. It sits in the driveway right now. I will never again buy another Ford.

I am 62 years old and I have been driving Ford products for the last 40 years. I have purchased several new vehicles from Ford and not had any problems until I recently purchased a 2018 Ford F-150 with a 302 V-8 August 21, 2018 from Cook Ford in Texas City, Texas. The next day the ac went out. The front bumper was mounted crooked. It was almost 2 inches higher on one side than the other. The Texas edition emblem on the tailgate was installed crooked. The door dampener on the driver side pops when you open and close the door. The engine idles very rough. There is a slight knocking noise coming from the motor when idling in park. I have never purchased a new vehicle with this many problems. The 10 speed transmission does not shift smooth at all.I have just over 8000 miles on this truck and this is the worst experience I have ever had with a Ford vehicle. I have always encouraged my children to purchase Ford products until now. I have been thinking about getting rid of this vehicle and switching to another brand. It seems as if the quality control for Ford Motor Company does not exist like it was. Think twice before you purchase a Ford product.

The car has 41000 miles on the vehicle with a 65000 mile warranty. The car was in the shop for a complete overhaul on the transmission. This took over 30 days to repair. I received the vehicle back only to find out the issue was not resolved. I then returned with the vehicle to be repaired. They performed another overhaul on the transmission. The vehicle is still not fixed and this time it’s been almost 2 months. My ** case manager is Michelle **. Regional Customer Service Person. She told me the vehicle will not qualify for a buyback because I’m a secondary owner. I have to stay on top of this person consistently to find out the updates on the vehicle. This is a common issue with the Ford Edge vehicles. She can’t give me a time frame of when the vehicle will be returned or the status on the current issue. I have continued to make the payments on the vehicle. Michelle hasn’t made any attempt to accommodate me even after asking. This is my first Ford vehicle and I will tell you this was a mistake doing business with Ford.

For the 3 years we have owned this car we have made numerous complaints to Ford and even called the corporate office for help, which does not come. We are unable to trade the car into anyone as it will not be paid off because of the transmission trouble. I just drove it for the first time since we have had the TCM replaced and I have to say this car is dangerous!Something needs to be done about this before I or my husband is killed because the car will not move. Stuttering or shuddering or whatever Ford calls it is wrong! We have been told that at least 35,000 customers are waiting for the same part!!! What is Ford going to do? I purchased my car brand new in 2011. I was excited, it was my first new car and I spent a lot of time researching cars. Within a few months I noticed that the car began to shake and vibrate and shudder real bad, especially in lower gears. It got worse and worse so I brought it in. Ford fixed it. It was fine for a few months then it began again. This time it was worse, even stalling out when crossing intersections when my kids were in the car. This frightened me and I reported it. They found nothing wrong with it. It was still doing it so I brought it back in and demanded someone drive it until they felt it and fixed it. On two other occasions it has been brought in and fixed. The letter Ford sent out stating that this is normal is bogus because it doesnt always do it especially right after a fix. The car is shaking and shuddering again. I also noticed that when I stop at lights or in my not so steep driveway the car rolls back significantly. Extending the warranty does not make the car safe. Now I have a recall notice that says the doors can break open while I am driving and the part to fix it is not available but I will be notified when it is. This car needs to be taken off the road!

I purchased a 2011 Ford Edge Certified pre-owned with 26000 miles. This vehicle has been in for major repairs within the last two years. Vehicle has AWD. The power transfer unit failed at approximately 60000 miles. The backup camera does not work at all. Just a blank black screen. Several valves went bad. The car was at a Ford dealer for 12 days. The backup camera no longer works. Its just a black screen. The only thing to be done with is replace it at the tune of $866.00. I did not have the camera replaced due to the substantial cost. The latest problem is the catalytic converters. They went bad at 75000 miles. The service engine soon comes on and flashes and then goes off. Called dealer and took it in. This was in January 2017.I was told both catalytic converters have to be replaced. The dealership told me they would have both converters by mid-February 2017. I called them at the end of the February and now they do not know when they will be getting the catalytic converters in. Really??? Note that I am still driving the vehicle and have not been offered a rental car as of yet. I was told not to take the vehicle on long trips because of the converters being bad. How long am I going to have to wait to have this fixed??? This will be the last thing that gets fixed on this car because if one more thing happens to it I will be getting rid of it. The 1977 Ford Maverick is not for everyone. As a daily driver, it takes a bite out of your wallet for gas money, but that more than pays for itself in the compliments you will receive while filling up at the pump. The bench front seats remove the barrier between you and your passengers and make you feel even closer, while the expansive windshield and minimalist doorframes make it feel like youre driving in a moving clear glass box. I am EXTREMELY disappointed I am with Ford! This is my second bout with Ford... This time, I am just in awe of the treatment I am receiving. I will try to make this long story as short as possible. On 9/25, I was traveling from Stockbridge, GA back home to Winston Salem, NC. Once I got to Boiling Springs, SC, on my display- a message came up Low Oil pressure...my car started slowing down and making a weird noise- so I got off at the next exit and called Ford Roadside Assistance. The lady I spoke to first quoted me $361 to have my car towed from Boiling Springs, SC to Charlotte, NC; I told her Id call right back because Id have to make sure I would have transportation from Charlotte to Winston Salem. She said ok, she would document and someone would help me when I called.I call back- go through the entire story again about driving from GA, message, etc....I get quoted $569!!!! I tell THIS lady, that is NOT what I was literally just quoted 10 minutes ago on the phone. She puts me on hold, comes back asks me what location, blah, blah, blah- I tell her- she puts me on hold, comes back and says she cannot get this lady to understand what she is saying, Im like, That is not my problem- I am telling you what she told me and its not fair to me that she quoted me one price and you want to charge me an additional $200 more. She talks to her supervisor---she will NOT waive the $200! (Oh, I havent gotten to the best part).I wait 4 hours for a tow to come get me!!!! After the tow comes, the dealership gates are closed. I have to leave my car on the outside of the dealership with a note in the car. I go through the fence to put my keys in the lock box. I call the next morning. Now present: whats wrong with my 2019 Ford Ecosport--the engine and turbo. It only has 76K miles on it...I asked last week for a loaner because I work FT. They said they did not have any loaners.I called again 10/4 and I was told they did not. - My question was: Can you not contact the other dealerships in Charlotte, but I guess that would be too easy. I ask for Corporates number and Im told they can rent me a car from Enterprise BUT under the service plan they will only pay $35/day, I will have to pay $10/day AND I have to come to Charlotte to get the car--how the heck can I come get the car if you have my only mode of transportation? The customer care person I spoke with on 10/4 said she was escalating my issue and someone would contact me within in hour....this was at 12:43pm...I havent heard a peep from anyone.I have posted on my FB, Yelp, and Fords website. Someone from Fords Social Media contacted me via FB inquiring my case # and most preferred contact. I provided it and then he (Rick) said he saw where my case had been escalated and someone would be in touch. I still have not heard from anyone about the status of my car (which has been a week and 1/2 now) or anything about a rental! I dont know if this is sexual discrimination (because I am a female). They feel they can take advantage and run over me, but I am extremely upset and feel I am being treated unfairly. I also have found evidence on the internet that the issues with my car maybe a recall issue and I should not have to pay the deductible, but am sure because of the way this is going, they will attempt to strong arm me. I need assistance- PLEASE!!!!

Recently when driving my vehicle, which is one year out of warranty, Ive found that my car stops suddenly in the middle of the road, with traffic behind me! Ive gotten stuck now 1-3 times a day, once in the middle of a busy intersection. Once it happened on the highway, and luckily no one was directly behind me for the moment, and I was able to limp my car to the shoulder (3 lanes over). My car gives me no limp-ability any longer.Ford gives me no satisfaction, although they acknowledge that this has happened with other years & models, and offered a temporary fix program (it appears to be a defective throttle body that needs to be replaced) for some of those vehicles, but that temporary deal is over now. Vehicle decelerates while in motion. This was my experience driving on the Interstate highway and the car dropped speed from 55-60 mph to 0 mph. With fast reaction, I pulled over to the shoulder. The car kept idling but there was no acceleration at all. After mechanical diagnosis, the throttle body is defective. Its all good electronics/mechanical parts are not failure proof. After calling several local dealers with the same response - PART ON BACK ORDER - I called Out of State dealers getting the same response. There is no recall on this matter and I wonder what is Ford waiting for - Casualties on our roadways? It sounds like Ford Has a National back order on this part. Why not recall it and make repairs on their dime, not the consumers? Thank you.

My 2018 Ford Transit Connect Titanium car that my wife and children drive we started noticing the car having hard times to turn left or right. We discovered that the carpet floor mat keeps getting sucked underneath the dash because of the turning mechanism from the steering wheel. I’m sure this is going to be a recall that nobody’s noticed yet but it is very dangerous. If my wife God forbid was to make a turn in the carpet gets stuck in the steering mechanism it would keep it from turning the way she’s going and can cause an accident. I don’t know where to go from here. Someone please help. Thanks again.

I purchased a new 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid through my shared employee plan through Harley Davidson and Ford Motor Company. The car currently has 25K miles on it and I have had nothing but issues with it. The transmission went out at 20K miles. The radiator cracked at 25K. There has been faulty wiring in the seats and door panels to name a few. I wrote a letter to Ford Motor Company and they called me back with a case number and opened an investigation on their end. They never called me back when I left messages and provided no information to me on the buyback program. I was just informed today (as my car is on day 26 of being in service at the dealership) that my car does not qualify for a buyback. When I questioned as to why, she said, I dont know. Im not an attorney. Youd have to hire one.” I am so disappointed in Fords product, and horrible customer service.

I have a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor. Its a good car. 4.6 liter. These are really good, strong cars and do last a long time if you take care of them. I know a quite a few people who have one. But be careful if you buy one. Its the gas tank you have to watch because they put these rubber mounts on the bottom of the tank where the straps hold up the tank. Water gets trap in between the mounts and within a couple of years youre leaking gas because its all rust. A lot of people dont know this. Even the cops because theyre still driving these cars. Ford messed up on this one.

Our Ford Explorer 2015 has an issue with the anti-lock braking system activating on sharp turns. Almost caused us to careen off the road and Ford wont recall or fix it. Stay away from this vehicle. We took it into a local repair shop and they said it was the sensors in the wheels getting clogged with film, but even after cleaning them the issue persisted. This is a serious safety issue that can cause a major accident if not fixed.

2010 Ford Fusion stalls out and the orange wrench light comes on. The vehicle will stay running while idling roughly. After shutting off the vehicle and restarting the car, it will drive like nothing is wrong with it and will randomly have the same problem the next time I drive it. I tested it and I received the code P2111 THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM - STUCK OPEN. After finding out many people have had problems with the same part I contacted Ford - only to be told that since it isnt acting up for them, that Ford will not allow them to replace it. The vehicle is still at the dealership while they continue to test drive it and get it to stall out. This is a huge hazard! It is amazing that more people have not been killed or injured by an unresponsive car while crossing traffic. This part should have been an actual recall. Way to drop the ball, Ford and consumer safety watchdogs!

Buying the Ecosport was a mistake.
Buying the Ecosport was a mistake. 1) The size does not allow more than two to travel comfortably, especially on long trips. The trunk is tiny and the rear seats are needed for luggage. 2) The economy factor is negligent when compared to our former Ford Escape. Gas, upkeep, and general savings are costing about the same as before. 3) Comfort is absent. The seats do not present a good ride at all on anything but a good highway. Even then it’s noisy. Nor is it meant for country driving at all. I wish we had been told.4) The dealership was not helpful when I asked for their help in going back to an Escape. The sales man said it was cost prohibitive and to call him in a few months. That’s not happening.I’ve hated this car from day one. I can’t wait to change vehicles at another dealership and another company.

1.27.14 - My beloved 14 year old 2001 F-150 started on fire while it sitting at my work parking lot most all day, since 10:30 am. The fire started after 4:25 PM, was seen at 4:40 PM, fully engulfed so much that it was too hot and dangerous for us (non-professional firefighters) to take the risk of trying to put out this blue-hot fire. When the firefighters go there and put the fire out, they were surprised at how hot this fire burned, so hot that it melted the hood totally, burned the tires, melted the interior back to the seats. Of course it is a total loss. I have started a case with Ford, dont know where that will go. This was such a surprise, it could have been SO MUCH worse. Had either of our sons been driving it, had it been parked close to our home or garage, had it been closer to other cars..... the list goes on and on and on. .

My Ford 500s ride is decent. And I have the 6 speed tranny. I would not have bought if it had the cvt tranny. My car has lots of leg room in the back seat, storage spaces, and trunk room. It has good mileage and acceleration, too. I like the dual heat control in the front. Dual climate control has stopped a lot of fights. :-) It has been very dependable. I like the radio controls on the wheel. However, the rear has air but not heat and that is stupid. The AC is on all the time unless you manually shut it off. Some blind spots are worse than other cars I have owned.

Current owner of 2 Ford vehicles. I have a 2019 Ford F150 and a 2016 Ford Edge. Both vehicles have ran awesome for the last several years we have had them. We have loved them since the day we got them. Well, 1 Day after Powertrain warranty expires on the Edge, the check engine light comes on. Odd, but we figure we better get it checked out ASAP. Take it into the shop the following day as that is when they could get us in. Codes P0303 and P0316 pop up for a cylinder 3 misfire. Turns out vehicle needs a TSB 19-2346 performed. For those of you that dont know, that is a whole Long block replacement (Needs a new motor because cylinder 3 burning up coolant). I am frustrated to say the least that ford will not take ownership of the issue, even though they have came out with a full service bulletin for this issue. Keep in mind the vehicle has a perfect service record and only 45,000 miles on it which is well below average. So now I am sitting here with a broke down car that Ford wants me to pay $6,200 to put a new motor in. This issue has got me thinking about switching completely to another brand because their customer service on this event has been horrible and no understanding from them. Just them telling me I am out of luck.

I parked my 1997 F150 running fine. I went outside and after about 4 hours, it was smoking real bad by the break cylinder. We cut the battery cables, but the wiring all burned. Im on foot now.

I have owned several Ford vehicles over the years. They have been mostly dependable. My worst experience so far has been the Ford 5.4L 3v in my latest pickup. I have had to do both cam phasers and the dreaded breaking spark plugs. It has otherwise been reliable and I have had no issues since the phasers were done 20,000 mi ago. Previous vehicles had only minor issues such as starters, alternators, O2 sensors, steering components, and other things you would expect to replace on an aging vehicle. I plan to buy another in the future.

I bought a 2015 Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible from a Ford dealership
I bought a 2015 Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible from a Ford dealership. I was very happy with my purchase initially. A year later, 1 week before my warranty ended, I got A/C and seat heating/cooling issues. I took my vehicle to a Ford service and they were super helpful in the beginning. They told me all my issues were covered under the certified pre-owned warranty and they even gave me a rental for $2/day because I had premium vehicle benefits. They also said there was a nail in one of my tires and they would patch that up for $35 and the rest would be a $100 deductible. They put me on a Lyft for free and I got my rental from Enterprise. I only paid for insurance. It was too good to be true! The day my vehicle was supposed to be ready I got a call from the service center. They told me they fixed the A/C but the seat heating/cooling would be $750!!! When I asked why, they told me there was something syrupy in the electrical system under the car and a soda can probably exploded inside the vehicle! I swear to God thats what the guy said. Of course, this is completely BS. I mean I would have to clean the entire interior of the vehicle if something like that happened. There were no stains anywhere inside my vehicle and this guy had the audacity to suggest that a soda can EXPLODED in my vehicle and it magically only got in the electrical system under the seat. Needless to say, I was really pissed at this petty attempt to charge me an extra $750 and I contacted Ford customer service to deliver my complaint. They basically replied me with an automated message saying how they understand my frustration but they fully support the dealerships decision. Long story short, I am not saying never buy from Ford but just be aware that in their core they are a company that puts making money over their customer service and they will milk every penny out of you if they can. There are better car companies out there folks. I know that I will never ever buy a Ford again but if you do choose to risk your money you have been warned and its on you now.

I had a voluntary repossession in 2002, 10 years ago, which was charged off, according to Experian. Theyve ruined my credit since then, and expect me to pay interest on the property I dont even have. For 4 times, the write-off in 2008 according, to Experian now put another judgement I bought in Colorado. The judgement is in Missouri. Something isnt right. I need advice! Ford Motor Credit Customer Service is not, and has not done anything but repossess it, sell it, and write it off in 2008. Is this right? I dont have the property, and no change in my credit report. I need some help, and maybe some constructive advice in a letter, if possible. Can I avoid bankruptcy, after all this?
