Ford Automobile Model 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor

2023 Ford Bronco Raptor

If you're lusting for a badass ride that offers extreme levels of off-road performance, you have quite a few options.

A great one is the 10Best award-winning 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor, an off-road predator that muscles up the already-capable Bronco SUV with a burly EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6.

a multi-configurable four-wheel-drive system, a suspension setup with Fox dampers that can cope with whatever terrain you might throw at it, huge 37-inch tires with deep treads, and skid plates galore.

Beyond that, the Raptorized Bronco is also capable of towing up to 4500 pounds and sprinting to 60 miles per hour in less than six seconds.

It's not the most comfortable highway cruiser, but it's not intended to be; this Ford is for hardcore off-road enthusiasts who see the world as a massive, sandy, rock-strewn playground waiting to be explored.

The Bronco Raptor carries on mostly unchanged for the 2023 model year save for a new Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat exterior color option and revised stereo options for customers who don't have a need for the 10-speaker B&O system.

The Bronco Raptor is offered exclusively in the four-door body style and a single trim level. Standard equipment includes a beefy EcoBoost V6 powertrain, a stout drivetrain comprised of a 10-speed automatic and 4.7 axle ratio, and all of the off-roading goodies required to endow this flare-fendered machine with masterful off-road prowess.

A powerful B&O audio system is standard and utilizes 10 speakers, including a sub-woofer. Buyers can elect to delete the subwoofer and downgrade to a system with reduced functionality or fewer speakers, which earns them a credit of $100 to $665 depending on which they choose.

We'd elect to keep the more premium sound system so we can indulge in aural delights when we aren't ripping through sand dunes or slogging through mud bogs.

We'd also stick with the standard seats which are covered in marine-grade vinyl and the standard rubberized flooring as they make cleaning out the cabin much easier.

The Transit Connect wagon is a surprisingly well appointed mini van costing much less than the competitors. This vehicle has been a big hit in Europe for several years and is now breaking into the US market. It has great visibility, a very responsive engine, and plenty of room for 6 passengers. It drives and handles well. I especially like that the back seats fold down flat. We can safely haul our 4 dogs in 4 midsize hard shell dog crates (two side by side in the back, and two facing either sliding side doors) and still have room for gear and luggage. I’m very fond of the wireless cellphone cubby in the dash, no changing cables! It has separate climate controls and comfortable heated seats for the driver and front passenger.

I purchased a 2015 Ford F-150 Truck this year which the airbag light appear
I purchased a 2015 Ford F-150 Truck this year which the airbag light appeared on the driver’s side of the vehicle. So I took the truck in to Bell Ford for warranty work on September 1, 2015 to fix this problem. The service department determined that they needed to replace the wiring harness inside the truck which involved stripping the entire interior of the vehicle. This meant everything had to come out down to the metal inside dash, seats, console, headliner, carpet, door panels; everything was torn out of my $63,000.00 brand new Ford F150 Platinum Truck!During this process I made calls to the assistant service manager, Mike **, to check on the progress and also to voice my concerns regarding the extent of this repair to my new truck. I was worried about the reassembly because of the drastic solution to this problem. I wanted to ensure that the service techs would efficiently put my truck back together so there were no rattles or other problems created because of this extensive repair. I related to Mike ** that my main concerns were that after the warranty was up that it might have some issues with rattles or malfunctions on anything in the future. Mike ** said if he owned this truck he would be concerned too however he assured me that he had his lead tech working on my truck. Also he stated that his guy was the only one working on my truck because only one guy should tear it apart and put it back together for continuity. On September 17, 2015, I stopped by in person to check on the progress of this repair and discovered that the lead tech was not the one doing the repair it was a young lady that was inside my truck reinstalling all of the parts that were scattered around my truck. I asked Mike ** if this young lady was his lead tech and he replied no however his lead tech was overseeing her work which to me is not what I had originally been told. There was no lead tech or any other tech involved at this time and the young lady inside whose name is Whitney verified that she is the only one that had been working on my truck.I received a call on September 18, 2015 informing me that the truck was ready to be picked up. I discovered after inspecting what I could see that there were many problems with the truck. There were visibly cracked and broken parts reinstalled instead of replaced. I ended up with a punch list of 13 items that were evident to the naked eye therefore who knows what is wrong with what cannot be seen. I took the truck back to the service department that day however they told me to keep it until they received the new parts they had to order that had been ruined during the reassembly process.I delivered the truck back to Bell Ford on September 30, 2015 and during the time between the 18th and the 30th of September I had more issues that surfaced in the dash area that could not have been originally detected until driving the truck for a while. Therefore I determined that this was going to be an ongoing problem and that I was not going to keep this vehicle. So I traded it in because of the distrust and the lying and would never feel confident with this truck in the future.I had a meeting with Lee **, General Manager, and Mike **, Service Manager on October 9, 2015 in which I requested reimbursement for the amount of money I was out for the accessories for the new truck which were items that I had purchased for the F150 truck originally. I gave Lee an itemized list which amounted to $2,063.86. Lee explained that he was leaving for Hawaii the next day (October 10, 2015) and could I give him a couple of weeks to work on a resolution. Lee and Mike apologized for their assistant service manager, Mike ** lying to me about the service repair and that they did not do right by me and were sorry for everything. After Lees return from Hawaii I met with Lee and Mike ** on October 22, 2015 where Lee apologized again profusely for the mistakes and lying regarding this repair. There was some discussion again about the issues and Lee said he was not going to give me $2,063.86 to go away. I got up to leave and said, Okay then I am done and then Lee said, Arent you going to negotiate? And I said, Okay I want $1,999.99, and Lee replied, I will give you $1,000. I said, No I am done and left. In summary Bell Ford admitted to bad service and their employee lying however they are not willing to make it right to my satisfaction. If all the repairs would have been done correctly I would have kept the truck and not been out any money.

First off if I could take away the star I was required to give I would. I own a 2001 Ford Excursion, have wanted one for some time, after purchasing the truck I was completely satisfied with it. But a very short time later I experienced my first spark plug that blew out. Luckily (why I dont know) it didnt take the threads the first time out. Well tonight I have now experienced my total of my third plug blowing out. Money for me does not come easy, and I can assure you the money I spend on a truck will not line the pockets of Ford Motor Company in the future. I know my claim alone is not enough to make a difference, after all its FORD MOTOR COMPANY, one of the if not the largest motor vehicle company in the world. They have all kinds of money. Well they have received the very last dollar from my pocket on anything of their products.Sure they have some nice looking cars/trucks. But that alone is not enough. I have other cars here with half a million miles on them, yes literally half a million miles and not once, not one time ever have they ever blown a plug out of the motor. And for a company the size of Ford to sit and do nothing, well thats just unacceptable to me. I am 100% interested in anyones class action lawsuit that they may put together, and I’ll make sure I spread the word in any forum, car boats or the like about the ongoing problem with FORD MOTOR COMPANY. We live in the age of internet, to have a problem like this and do nothing, well its a time bomb. Sure the company will carry on and probably never hear or see my issues but I can assure you that there are thousands of people that will. Thank you and I apologize to any other ford owners experiencing the same as I have. It just plain sucks. I can be reached **. Thank you for your time.

Friday, May 1, 2015 approximately 4:30 am - I woke up to someone pounding on my front door yelling, your truck is on fire! Sure enough, there it was engulfed in flames. The fire department arrived about 4:45 am and put it out. I parked it the previous night around 9:30 pm. Truck: 2001 Ford Lariat, crew cab. Thanks.

The 1977 Ford Maverick is not for everyone. As a daily driver, it takes a bite out of your wallet for gas money, but that more than pays for itself in the compliments you will receive while filling up at the pump. The bench front seats remove the barrier between you and your passengers and make you feel even closer, while the expansive windshield and minimalist doorframes make it feel like youre driving in a moving clear glass box. Wonkas great glass elevator is a good mental comparison. While the carburetor makes for an bit of a lag on the throttle, with a massive boat like this, youll want to slow down and let everyone get an eyeful anyway.

Ford’s customer relations call center is not worth the time or effort. We have two Ford Escapes in our family and I drive a Ford Escape as my company car. My company vehicle is still under factory warranty. I had a concern with my company vehicle so I called the customer care phone number, a case number was assigned and I was given a contact number with an extension. When I call the number, I received a recorded message to leave my case number along with a contact phone number and my call would be returned in the next 24 hours. Over the past few weeks I have called this number and left several messages, never received a call back. Calling the Ford Customer Care Center has only added more frustration to an already difficult situation. As it stands right now, I have no intention of ever purchasing another Ford vehicle and am planning on sharing my experience with our company’s fleet manager.

I own a 97 F150 ext cab 4x4 4.6. This truck has been very reliable for years; it had an engine replacement a few years back. Three and a half weeks ago, I traded in my other F150 truck that was a 2006 with a 5.4 (not too good on fuel). Now, having a more economic vehicle, I havent driven the 97 in at least three weeks. On Thursday evening, I started the truck, let it run for 20 minutes (just to ensure the battery stayed charged), shut it off, had dinner and then went to bed about 9:30 and the truck was good then. I had to be into work early on Friday morning. We have had a lot of rain in recent weeks and I thought I may have to work outside. I grabbed my rain jacket from the back seat of my 97 truck at 3 am. On my way to work, the truck seemed good at that time (no burning smells). At 5:30 am, my wife called me at work to tell me that my truck was on fire in the driveway and caught the garage and house on fire. Luckily too, our wonderful neighbor that happened to wake up and look out their window had seen the blazing fire and woke up my family and got them out of the home. The neighbor also called 911 at that time. The local fire dept. also needs recognition to quick response. Had they been 20 minutes later, I think I would have lost my home and all of my garage. The truck is a total loss with melted radiator, hood, plenum, and all aluminum parts. The truck had a lift, tonneau cover and $1800 in tire and wheels are all gone. All the glass and interior is completely gone as well. Of course, the truck is paid for. It only had liability insurance and home insurance doesnt cover the vehicle. Im not sure how to proceed. After reading all the other posting, it is evident that there is an issue and Ford is very aware and is turning a blind eye to the problem. I am having a fire investigator look at the fire. I guess we will see what their thoughts are about fire and Fords ongoing issue.

Ford makes it virtually impossible to terminate a lease early. My situation changed halfway through my lease. The would rather see you default on the payments than work something out. A bunch of people on autopilot that just repeats the same garbage information over and over. I will never use Ford ever again in my life, and if you are thinking of buying from them...take a minute and read some of the reviews, they are a horrible company and are doing a disservice to their customers.

The 90 Ford Thunderbird is a good running and dependable vehicle. Also, smooth, perfect and easy driving. Very comfortable and good gas mileage, too. Nice interior and awesome car. However, I dislike the seats leaning back and power steering, how the brakes work, the radio in it, the color of the interior, the cars weird looking color, the tires, the old radio cassette player and dashboard, the vehicles slowness, how the seats set and how I have to pull seat up to drive the vehicle.

In July 2014 I received a letter of a Recall on my vehicle regarding the Torque Sensor and Steering Column going out. I took it in to the Dealership where they did whatever they were suppose to do (I assume), though it only took them approx. 5 to 10 mins. At that time I was not having any issues with my vehicle. Speed up now to March 2016, I started having issues with my steering wheel vibrating and moving back and forth and my vehicle making odd noises. I took it in to the same dealership to be checked, they did a diagnostic test and told me my Torque Sensor/steering column were going out. I had them do the repairs. That evening after I okayd the repairs I found the Recall Letter which was in regards to the issue I was having now with my vehicle. I told Steve in the Service Dept and he called Ford Motors to see if my vehicle was covered for the Parts and Labor as the Recall letter stated, he was told No. I also called Ford Motors and was told No that the Recall had expired. In the Recall letter it states that Alternatively, the dealer may need to replace the torque sensor or the steering column. This service will be performed free of charge (parts and labor). I find Ford Motors to be very dishonest and they dont care about their customers safety. They obviously knew of the faulty parts in my vehicle, hence the Recall Letter I received. I did take it in to the dealership when I received that notice. Again at the time of the Recall my vehicle was fine, a little over a year and a half later I end up with the exact issue of that Recall. I feel Ford Motors Company should cover these charges and reimburse me. I have also emailed Ford Motors and received the same response No that the Recall has expired, and after the first 12,000 the warranty is no good. They should cover these parts.

I called customer service on Oct. 3, 2017 and spoke to Ashley. (800) 392-3673. I was trying to find out some information about a transmission hose part # and asked who to speak to about this matter. She told me to pay for a subscription to Motor craft or go to the dealer. The dealer wants $100.00 to tell me about the hose. This is ridiculous as I just need to find out how many transmission hoses my expedition has. I am not a mechanic to even know what to look for under the hood. A bunch of morons and I bought Fords all my life as I am now 52 years old... Somehow I am realizing why my friends buy Hyundai and other foreign cars. Customer service is worth nothing as they are as ignorant and nonhelpful as the Ford Motor company.

Ford says that MyKey is a safety feature and added security. When enabled, your keys are limited by speed and music volume. However, if you somehow get both keys set as MyKey, there is nothing undo feature that the customer can do, except take the car to the dealership, and pay between $150 and $300 dollars to have this reset. I called Ford consumer complaints and asked them to pay for this, since their faulty system caused the problem, and was told no, and there was no one else to talk to at Ford to get this done. It is way too easy to do this by mistake, and then you are locked out of your enjoyment and use of the car you purchased. Basically, a Ford customer is not worth $150 to keep them happy. I will never buy from Ford again.

I like the sound system in the Mercury. Trunk is extremely roomy as well as the overall space and its a pleasure to drive when its not broke down. Love that the seats recline all the way back and the back seats fold in for added cargo space for the trunk. But Im not really pleased with this car like I would have hoped to be. It has been unreliable on several occasions and its giving me more headaches than pleasure breaking down on me. Also the console is way smaller than I expected and I wanted a deeper glove box. The drink holders arent adjustable for bigger cups which is very aggravating. I also wanted the car to come with 5 star rally wheels instead of standard spare tire. I wish that the overall length was a little bit bigger and the access to certain areas under the hood was better aligned for easier working space and the doors and windows access for the back seats are made ridiculous.

On March 13th, 2012, I had an accident due to heavy fog that caused me to slam into a 3 and 1/2 foot ditch then into a field. The seat belt did not lock and the airbags did not deploy which slammed my chest into the steering wheel, bounced me in the air causing me to break my back and severely bruising my ribs. Recently I realized that my air conditioner was not working. Took it to my local Ford dealer to determine problem and get fixed. The A/C Evaporator Core Discharge Temp Sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. The good news was that this part only cost $32. The bad news was that it was behind the dash which would require removal of the dash to install a new part. My cost was $1255. I contacted Ford and told them that this was poor engineering and the part could have been located in a more accessible spot. The customer service person acted very concerned and told me they would send an expedited email to the Ford dealer service manager because they would be able to help me. When I talked to the service manager she had no idea what she was to do for me other than charge me the estimated repair cost. Ive contacted Ford 2 more times about this matter and all they have done is turned their back on my situation. How does Ford think that they have no responsibility for poor engineered design? My Ford case number is **, but is apparently just a number and means nothing to Ford.

My 2013 Ford Fiesta hatchback titanium required a tow in year 3 with no other issues other than the battery dying and the radio console freezing up a few times which I was able to fix myself. It is an American made car that was extremely well priced with attractive features such as moonroof, leather seats, heated seats, rear camera, GPS system, enhanced audio sound system that a lot of the foreign cars offer at their base price models. It came in a manual which was important to me and hard to find. Some of the car pieces are made of plastic though where it should not be. The hood latch and several metal pieces under the hood have seized which I find absurd since I take great care of my vehicle. The whole vehicle is dependent upon a computer system that can be quite finicky at times especially when wet or cold outside.

Ford sold me new Ford Transit 2020 van and after only 6k miles and only few month of gentle use vans transmission broke. The van was making noise, no sensors went out so I kept driving and waiting for appointment to the shop for about 2 weeks. When at the shop I was told that all the fluid leaked out from transmission. I was driving this vehicle without transmission coolant for a period of few weeks so in my opinion the transmission is done and only a matter of time when it completely goes. People at the shop replaced the faulty part and send me on my way. When I called Ford customer care department to complain and ask to at least give me extended warranty so I feel more confident in the vehicle, and to know if transmission breaks again at least it would be covered under warranty. Ford customer care representative (Kaytlyn **) offered me a free oil change, can you believe this? A free oil change? Which made me even more upset about the whole situation and ford customer service.P.S They sold me a vehicle which was manufactured in January and I bought it in November, the van was passed from dealership to dealership with some miles on it until it found me and was sold to me as a new vehicle, salesperson failed to disclose this information until after the purchase. My advice is think twice before you buy a Ford product!

I took my truck to Sheehy Ford for a engine issue. Basically the truck would shut off while driving down the road. The dealer said we should replace the head studs, head gaskets, injector seals, fuel seals, oil passage seals. I was okay with all of that costing estimated $7000 and about 26 labor hours. That was 4+ months ago. They have had my truck for 4+ months. They replaced my radiator, why??? I dont know and the service manager doesnt know either. But Im sure Im getting billed for that somehow. Face to face I asked the service manager why they replaced my radiator. He said I dont know. I went to the shop to get some camping stuff out of my truck and was there for about 25-30 minutes. There were 6 vehicles in the shop and not one technician in there working. At one point a tech walked in the back door and grabbed an oil pan and brought it over to a van but dropped it and walked up to the front. I dont trust what they are doing mechanically to my truck. They in theory replaced my high pressure oil pump, but once it was all back together they had zero oil pressure. Did they replace it??? Well even the old oil pump was giving some oil pressure. I cant get a response from the service manager anymore and I had to call Ford motor company. So far Tina has done a good job corresponding between me and the dealer but Im not getting anywhere. Again 4+ months and over $4000 in rental car bills. I have yet to get my truck back and am still making payments and insurance on a truck I can not use. I wouldnt trust them to change my head light.

I have a 2008 Edge SEL, awd with 97000 that the axle bearing went bad. The bigger problem is you have to replace the front drive shaft assy. Not just a bearing. It has been in the shop for 1 week waiting on the parts so what does that tell me? There is an issue known but not announced public. From what I hear it is problem with these models and if so what does it take for Ford to make a recall and admit there is a quality issue? I am a Ford man all the way but have 2nd thoughts now. I have owned my share of Ford cars and trucks since 1979. I used to believe they were the best and the quality was off the chart. However of lately, my past two 2017 Ford’s were not the Fords I have had in the past. The quality has gone from 10 to about a 7 at best. I have recently owned and still drive my 2017 Taurus and recently parted with my 2017 F250 Diesel pickup. The truck wasn’t as bad as the Taurus but there were minor things. The truck had starting issues, and the quality of products used was not up to par in my opinion. Mechanically it seemed to hold its own, I didn’t like how the computer limited its capabilities to be the truck it could actually be. As for the Taurus, it is a good mechanical sound driving vehicle as I expect from a Ford. However the body panels don’t line up, misaligned doors to 1/4 panels, the hood and trunk don’t fit correctly. I got a really good deal on it and didn’t take it to heart too much. But now after year 3.5 I am starting to notice rust sitting in the gutter of the trunk lid, that is unacceptable. There are a lot of people who drive Fords today or in the past because of my tenacity about them. However now not so much so. I recently bought my wife a Chrysler 300 Sedan, it is a nice well built car, I become more and more impressed with it over my beloved Fords. I have owned probably over 50 vehicles in my life time, mostly Ford’s and a few GMs. Dodge hasn’t been a player since the early 70’s. Now they are back on the map! I am impressed and GM has made their way back as well. Ford needs to tighten up again. I was looking forward to possibly buying The new Bronco, however, I am really looking at the Rams and Dodges right now... If we continue to have good fortune with the Chrysler it will motivate me to move away from the Ford line. Trust me I live and breathe Ford’s, my RV is The F53 RV Chassis with the V10, I love it! My late 90 and early 2000 Ford’s were much better, quality, craftsmanship and sheer engineering ingenuity. Just thought I would share. I have had at least one (1) Ford all my 45 years of driving. Not bad, but times have changed and so has Ford unfortunately. Breaks my heart. I hope they turn it around before it is too late, especially after dropping their automobiles. I plan on making a purchase in the next year, hoping to be my final purchase in my life time.

I own a 2011 Ford Edge with 60K miles. The entire SYNC system crashed, which has been an issue for FORD and this feature since they issued an extended warranty but not a recall. So therefore, since my warranty is outside about 2 months, Im stuck with a repair bill of over $1000 to which FORD will not even try to offset AT ALL. Totally unacceptable on a vehicle with such low mileage! Never had such an issue with TOYOTA. Shouldve stuck with them! FORD wants consumers to purchase their products yet they wont even back them! Its a shame. Theyve lost this customer for life. NEVER AGAIN.

I own a 2010 Ford Flex Limited. It has the EPAS steering system that has failed just like the 2011s that has the same part and has an active recall campaign to replace it. When I contacted the dealership, they pulled the part number up and confirmed the recall but, not on the 2010. The dealership then contacted Ford Corporate for financial assistance. Corporate asked the dealer for the parts and labor replacement estimate just to deny fixing my car. I have just spent over $3,500 replacing both turbos and now, Ford expects for me to pay another $2,000 to fix my car again! You would think that Ford would acknowledge a major safety issue like a steering failure!

My wife and I bought a 2012 Ford Flex limited with 42k miles in July of 2015 due to expecting twin babies. Well, it hasnt even been a full year and only 13k miles later and we are already having to spend $1100 on replacing the rack and pinion. Ive owned a BUNCH of vehicles in my life so far with FAR more miles than this and never had to have anything major replaced like this. I am disgusted at the reliability of this vehicle especially on how much it cost in the first place. I will NEVER buy a Ford again. There are too many other options out there.

I bought my Ford F150 XLT brand new in 2010 and I have completely loved my truck! It has been great with no problems. So you can imagine how upset I am after only 93,000 miles my motor needs replaced because of how poorly the 4.6 engine was built. I would think the engine would last longer than that but I was wrong. My mechanic said that this has been the major problem with the 4.6 engine in these trucks so I am not sure why it never got recalled. Now I am out a pretty penny to get it fixed since it is my sole vehicle to get my family around in. I am not usually one to complain but this was defiantly an upset after spending $37,000 on the truck to begin with just to replace the engine 7 years later. Now that I will have a motor in it that was built right I should get a longer lifespan out of this truck!

6.7 Powerstroke Diesel - I bought my truck brand new off the lot in 2012. The dealer told me I should have no problem getting 21 MPG. Figured I would get at least 17 with the way I drive. Started out doing good at 17.5. Then as the motor got broke in I watched it drop to 14.5 and thats where it stayed. Around 100,000 miles I had to have the alternator replaced. Around 105,000 miles I had to replace my def heater. Other than that there were no real issues.I did all the maintenance as needed and recommended. Then towing a trailer at highway speeds with just under 130,000 miles my motor locks up. No warning lights or anything. Have it towed. Wait a week for the dealership to look at it and all they can say is I need a new motor. Ask how that can be. The truck has been babied compared to my old 6.0 that I had. They tell me to know for sure they would have to get into it and that would cost me who knows what in labor to see what exactly went wrong. All they could tell me for sure is the price to replace the motor... at $16,000. Last time I buy a Ford.

My 2019 F150 4X4 Supercrew has 1200 miles on it and was purchased July 1, 2018. The drivers side door makes a loud cracking noise when opened or closed. It started out of nowhere approx 2 days ago. I’ve only driven it about 15 times. I took it to the dealer, Pompano Ford, and 2 service techs and a body shop tech looked at. The 2 service techs said it might need to be lubricated, but the body shop tech said the black hinge was faulty and needed to be replaced. It’s difficult to tell if the noise is coming from the part of the hinge that’s connected to the door, or the part that is connected to the body. He said the door has to be taken off to replace it. I asked him if the door would be put back on the way it was new, he stated he couldn’t guarantee it would be exact, but may be slightly off after the repair. They did not have the part, but would contact me when the part arrived.

I believe someone may have tried to break in my 2015 Explorer. I never realized that my door handle was plastic. All it took was a screwdriver to break it. Fortunately they were scared away. Otherwise they could have pried the lock and got into my vehicle. This handle is used on 2011 - 2017 models, part number 78218A14. This piece of plastic cost $68.50 plus tax. It is poorly made. They wanted a fortune to install it so we are taking it to a body shop who will install it for $30. Be aware that they change prices on you from one day to the next. We were quoted $68.50 on Friday and then on Tuesday they wanted $75. Ford used to be my favorite car manufacturer, but is not anymore. When I got to the register someone said, Theres a truck on fire in the parking lot! The fire had just started. It was up in flames and burnt to a crisp in less than ten minutes. Flames shot 20 feet up in the air and it melted the pavement under the truck. We would have been dead if it had happened twenty minutes sooner. The fire department made it in good time, but the truck was already totaled. Everything in the cab was ruined, including all three childrens car seats. Thankful I have comprehensive insurance. The car has 17250 miles on it, its 2014 Fiesta Titanium. I have been having transmission problems. Shuddering, shaking, jerking, jolting, sudden or delayed acceleration have all been problems. Low speeds seem to be an issue with it. It seems to shudder in between 1st and 2nd gears. I also have had it stall while in reverse. I have taken it to the Ford dealership, they are aware of the issue, have had multiple complaints, and said they would reprogram the software to make the shift changes more smooth. It is still exhibiting the same issues - harsh shuddering, gears slipping, clicking and noises. Its just a matter of time before this vehicle kills someone. I wasnt told that this car would operate any differently than any other car. The dealership says that all of these symptoms are normal for the kind of transmission that they sold me and that its still safe to drive. Even when I took it in to get reprogrammed for the shuddering, the technician said that its still going to do it. What?! It wasnt doing it before and now you want me to deal with a shuddering vehicle? And you say you still cant fix it? Thats terrible. Ive owned Fords all my life and this is my first new car and I feel like Ive made a terrible decision and its barely got 20,000 miles on it. More importantly, the safety. Ive had more than one close call with trying to accelerate and the transmission not responding in enough time to get out of the way. Operates unlike any other vehicle Ive owned and not in a good way.

Ford was truthful & did their best to find what we were looking for including the color. Their service dept has notified us any time they see something of concern and its not always costly. Ford Motor Company dont want business from US citizens of Puerto Rico... On November 24, 2017 at the Central Florida International Auto Show I was enjoying a great Auto Show especially looking at the Pickup trucks inside the Orlando Convention Center. Ford, Nissan and Chevy pickups were my top pick for my next purchase, the only other thing that I needed to was to test drive them. So after spending all day at the show I went outside and test drove with Nissan, Dodge and others with my Puerto Rico drivers license with no issues. But when I stop at the Ford Test drive tent I show my Puerto Rico drivers license like I did with the other 3 locations and was notify that it was no good, only US driver license. I told the lady that Puerto Rico is part of the United States but she didnt care. Last time I check Ford has dealerships in the island of Puerto Rico. As a US citizen and a US service member, I felt disappointed, disrespect... Ford Motor Company lost a customer... and hopefully many more.

I will be in touch on my way back from BC in a week or so. Today probably not a good day to deal with this. Last week on Thursday may 21 my 2000 Ford v10 Coachmen would not start. As a former truck driver I tried everything I could think of. Had to electrical. The engine would roll over but not ignite. Checked every fuse I could find. I then called Cypress Ford and explained what I thought was the issue and was told to try somewhere else as they had no bay for this. I called the company, they referred me to only to have them tell me to call Ford Customer Service which they in turn called Cypress Ford while I was still on the line and tell me to have it towed to Cypress Ford. These calls are recorded and someone in that building took that call and authorized it. When we reached there however, with tow truck and motorhome, I was told that I was already told not to bring this here. Only after tow truck driver intervened did the service guy retract his version and Ok’d for motorhome to be dropped and he would have technician take a look later. A nice young lady called me later to tell me Ford had determined the fuel pump was gone and would have to get one from Edmonton I think. She also informed me they found a service guy locally to replace fuel pump because he had the facility to do this type of repair and would be jobbed out to him.Friday, we had the motorhome towed to j&js Roadside Service and told pump would be here sat am. That didnt happen as truck bringing parts broke down and told that truck would be in Sunday. Picked up pump myself and helped this guy install on Monday. Only to find it wasnt the pump at all. This service guy Kent called Cypress 2-3 times and told technician off today but would try and locate him. We needed someone with electrical knowledge of Ford v10 ignition but got no help. Finally about 4:30 he found the problem. A 25 cent fuse. How about that. So here is the issue I have pump not needed $801. Bill for service guy you sent me to, $1341. Bill for motel, $521. Bill for car rental, $150. So it cost me over $2800 for a 25 cent fuse. I want to hear what Cypress Ford has to say as far as covering this. The call at Ford customer service was recorded and clarifies what I said here. I have no interest in stopping to-day to debate who did what. Not the money. Understand I will get it back. You can reply to this e-mail if you like as I will be forwarding on to Ford. I own and operate my own business back home in NB and have made errors myself but I always make them right no matter what it costs.

I have been a Ford truck for for many years. 7.3s 460s, etc. I have been told to stay away from 6.0 Fords. Since my background includes being a Master Auto and Truck Technician. I have been working mainly on customers vehicles. My personal experience started when I was in the market for a parts truck with a 6.0. I bought a theft recovery low miles 2006 F350 Lariat that was ransacked, stripped and ditched off road. I bought it for $2500. After feeling sorry for that poor thing, Ive decided to rebuild it with parts that was just sitting in my possession. After extensive repairing of chopped wiring harnesses, replacing of missing parts and having it recertified and then upgrading with EGR delete, programmer, cooling system low temp modifications, upgraded turbo and servicing with premium fluids. Adding 1 quart of ATF at every fillup. Fast forward 30k miles and 3 yrs of use. This is the best Ford I owned. It even runs better than my 05 Ram 3500 Cummins (48re transmission is nowhere close to the Fords 5r110).

Ive had 2 vehicles now that have had this problem, 2014 Escape & my new 2015 Explorer. With both vehicles the leather gets a dark color on the seat backs not the seats themselves. Ive been told numerous times Ford warranty wont cover it because they dont classify this as a defect. They tell me its a fabric transfer. How can it be a fabric transfer when I wear white most of the time because I live in Florida? So today I get a reply from Pauline in the Ford customer service department stating Ford will not do anything to fix this problem. I know Im not the only Ford owner with this problem. I purchased an F150 in Aug 2016, and my bank account was scammed in Feb 2017. In April 2017 Ford sent me a notice of default and right to cure. I discovered that Ford credit had not updated my personal information even though I had the car in service at the Ford dealer and gave my personal information on two separate occasions when I went to get the truck serviced. Ford credit stated they did not have my phone number so just put me on the bad credit list and threatened to repossess the truck even after I had placed $10,675 down to purchase the vehicle. The dealership was given my new information in February when I needed an oil change, but they did not enter it into their system. This is a reflection of the shoddy, greedy and poor customer service of the Ford Dealer. I will never purchase another shoddy vehicle from Ford again. I have been a loyal customer for over 20+ years and realized that Ford could care less. I will NEVER again purchase a Ford and will discourage anyone else from considering a Ford EVER.

I will definitely add images of my Ford F150 truck explosions and how quickly the truck burned up our home. My favorite Ford F150 4X4 $45,000.00 Lariat SuperCrew truck (which I usually park inside my home/garage) burned and exploded several times, burning down my home (especially half the home/roof). Flames and black smoke filled the home entirely. Ford advertised for years their Ford trucks are built Ford tough. My stepbrother, a 20-plus years New York police officer, worked many overtime hours at and around ground zero (after 9/11) and I decided to buy American, put money back into building the American economy after 9/11, help Americans keep their jobs in the car manufacturing business, etc. So I purchased a new 2001-2001 Ford F150 4x4 SuperCrew Lariat truck with the best intentions based on supporting the American economy after 9/11 and based on Fords advertisement for many years that Ford trucks are built Ford tough.Nevertheless, I found out at 12:30 am, August 10, 2006, after discovering my truck burning and exploding with flames shooting from the hood and quickly engulfing the truck, flames spreading and quickly covering my home, etc. Then years later, after being lied to and lied on repeatedly day after day, month after month, year after year, 5-6 years down the horrible road of complete fall out after a fire disaster and our lives have been completely disrupted, torn apart, traumatized so severely my health, family and a good decent spacious home, nicely furnished, great property and everything else has been ripped away and destroyed to a point of no return as a direct result of the horrible mistreatment, we were received by Ford Motor Co. and their investigators and representatives. We were told 5-6 years after the fire that Ford has had this problem since early 1990s and have allowed people to purchase their vehicles without sending customers recall notices; thus, many families and children have died in Ford fires and have had serious health issues that often lead to death as a result of the significant stress from dealing with the mistreatment by Ford and their affiliates, etc. See also Fire Under the Hood,” which discussed how a four-year-old beautiful soul, Blake Washington, died after the familys Ford Expedition spontaneously burned up in their garage. The family suffered for years after being mistreated, ignored, and disrespected so horribly. Blakes mom died 4-5 years later (around February 2009) from a broken heart, auto-immune system failure and many stress-related health issues spiraling from her losses. Around 2009-2011, I read an article written by Blakes mom and dad, Tanika and Juan Washington (a military family). They wrote a detailed article about how bad Ford and Texas Instruments treated them after their Ford Expeditions defect caused a fire and burned their home and daughter. When will the President, U.S. Congress, and responsible officials help all of us who have had our lives ruined and experienced significant losses as a direct result of Ford Motor Co., Texas Instrument, and DuPonts pure negligence and criminal responsibility of making defective products costing billions of dollars that they know cause significant loss of life, liberty, privacy, property and that has systematically destroyed the entire lives of many families? We need responsible officials to help, such as the, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. President, Congress, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Brenan Center for Justice and MoveOn.org, Change.Org and every human rights and U.S. Constitutional rights organizations and attorneys who are not afraid to step up and help make the lives better of millions of Americans citizens and millions of U.S. military families who have suffered profusely. As long as Ford Motor Co., Texas Instruments, DuPont, and all the Ford dealerships can get away with making billions in profits knowingly selling defective products that cause loss of life, health, property, etc., these companies will continue to do so without any mercy whatsoever on the American public. A little injustice anywhere leads to a whole lot of injustice everywhere. And when good people know that evil exist and fail to take action to stop it, then they too are just as evil as those committing evil act. This is nothing less than homegrown domestic terrorism: to purchase a truck thats like a ticking time bomb. You never know when it’ll explode. We learned 5 years after the fire by an expert in our case that when the gears start sticking in park or drive and you have to wiggle the gear handle to change gears, thats a sign that the vehicle is in trouble. Its a very, very small minor technicality that people dont even think twice about when they may have a little trouble changing gears from park to reverse or drive and most people are rushing off to get to work, home, etc., and never even suspecting this is a small signal to a major product defect. Ford would rather wait you out with their highly paid attorneys than pay middle class or working poor people any significant compensation to get your life back on track and make you whole after their trucks caused disaster.

I bought my Ford Five Hundred 10 years old with only 85,000 miles and am enjoying it. I wanted one when they first came out, so I was delighted when I saw this one at such a good deal. Its seat is a couple inches higher than other cars, so it is easier for me to get in and out of with my old knees, and the A/C works great, which is a must in Texas! Its an older car, so it doesnt have wi-fi technology. I might install wi-fi if I thought Id be keeping the car forever. And it has leather seats, which I really dont like -- too hot for Texas summers!

Id give zero stars if that was possible. Back story: never owned US made car. Drove just about every brand of Japanese car out there since 83, with no major complaints. I decided perhaps it was time to give a US company a try and my research suggested Ford the best of them. I got a new Explorer. Explorer seemed like a solid vehicle until at 20k miles it started to suffer some mysterious electrical problem, the worst of which manifests itself by hitting the gas pedal and nothing happens. The revs are there, its just nada between transmission and the engine. It can last a few seconds to a few minutes and when it does finally engage, the car leaps forward similar to what happens when you drop the clutch hard on a manual car.Other things are rear view cam coming on when going forward, cruise control shutting off for no reason etc. Worst, and potentially dangerous is the dead motor thing. Left me dead in the water in an intersection the other day. Brought it to Ford service three times now. First two times, being (apparently) an electrical issue, and an intermittent one at that, of course they couldnt reproduce the problem or fix it. Third time was the charm as I walked the tech out and it did it for him in person, so he confirmed it and said he thought it was electrical vs. a transmission issue. Once they got it in the shop, you guessed it, they could not reproduce it, and no fix.Now Im getting pissed. Many phone calls, etc. later to Ford corporate, them generally doing jack** to help me, etc., they then ask me to bring it in for a 4th time! I said I would, if they would at least tell me what they would happen after #4 visit and no fix: replace the car, let me out of the lease, etc. if after #4 if was not fixed. Their response was we will evaluate that afterward in a good faith review I responded, So if after #4 and nothing is fixed, we go onto #5? They ignored the Q. Seemed pretty reasonable request to me...Hence a total non answer and yet, I should bring it in for #4 with zero commitment from them, so at that point I declined knowing it was a waste of time and all they are doing is trying to wear me down and give up. I have 7 months left on the lease. So, it appears Im stuck with Ford until the lease run out (which is me paying for a defective car), pay the lease off and walk, which is me throwing $ in the toilet on a defective car. And Ford was supposed to be the most reliable of US brands. No wonder we continue to lose market share to the Japanese, etc.

i bought a brand new right off the factory 2011 Ford Fiesta. All of the issues started after the first year at about 9000-10000 miles. I am just over 20000 miles. First the car would have problem accelerating. Took it to the shop. They just reprogrammed the transmission. That took care of it for a few months. Next during my oil change I found out that a part with the transmission was leaking so they replaced that. About 2 weeks ago my car was making odd noises and didnt know which gear to use especially at lower speeds, jerked severely when speeding up after a complete stop and wheels would just rotate before actually catching traction (tires are new) so they replaced the clutch. Today my car is there again because it is making a horrible metallic scratching noises when braking, turning or accelerating. They are saying my brake pads worn out (at 20000 miles) and it affected my rotor. So far I am still under factory warranty. If I was not all those repairs would probably cost me as much as the car itself. I dont want to wait till my warranty runs out and have to start dishing out money to repair a car that is still considered relatively new. I want them to replace my car or give me my money back. I am not taking that car back from the Ford service center.

I was told it would cost me $972 to replace a water pump. WTF is that. I would feel better if they would have pulled a gun out to rob me instead. That is crazy. How much are mechanics making an hour? The parts were less than $200. The remaining was the cost for labor. I refused the repair and was charged $90 for an inspection. I will get the neighborhood mechanic to do it for less than $100. Ford has lost their mind and my Ford will be up for sale as soon as the repairs are complete.

In 2005 my husband I purchased a 2000 Ford Windstar with 95,000 miles on it. Keep good upkeep on it. Blew a head gasket, as did two friends who owned Windstars. Owned a 1989 Areostar, motor blew. Bought 1999 Aerostar, lots of issues. Bought a 2005 Ford Taurus this past Nov. Rear suspension problems, left rear body was rubbing the tire. Had the struts replaced on both rear, but the left is still rubbing the tire on even small bumps so, I guess we will be replacing the springs. Any time I slow down on the highway, I cant get back to speed fast all all. It bogs down. If I press more on the gas it chugs like it going to die. Have to gradually pick up speed then I feel it kick in and go, then its fine til I have to slow down again. In town it sputters and chugs, surges. I bought this car thinking it would be safer than the 99 Aerostar...but I am scared in both vehicles now. Throwing money into them left and right. I know old cars are gonna have problems but this is unreal. I am still paying the 05 Taurus off. I keep saying each time we go get a new vehicle, I am not ever buying another Ford, I want a Chevy. But it is hard to find lower priced Chevys used because people seem to keep them forever. Fords are everywhere, so I keep buying other peoples headaches. Now I must replace all the springs on the 05, in fear of killing my grandson that is only 4 years old. I have finally established credit with my bank on this one and as soon as its paid off, Im getting a loan for a Chevy that I know I can trust and getting rid of this headache. Never a Ford again! Its pretty sad that I have a 96 Old Cutlass that I hit a big pregnant black angus at night at 65 miles per hour and still runs and drives better than any of the others.

At the beginning of June I was lucky enough to notice that one of my doors was not closing before I left my parking spot. I had the car towed in to a Ford service center and was expecting it to have it fixed within a couple of days. I mean it is just a door latch (which they made out of PLASTIC by the way). After a few days of waiting I find out that they want to hold onto the car until at least September, for some reason they dont have this simple part anywhere in stock. Thats at least 3 MONTHS without a car that I am paying monthly and they are offering some rental car reimbursement for a small compact car which is only about $30 a day and I think the cheapest rental car is $35, nowhere near the value of the car I am leasing from them. If it was only for a week or two then I would have no problem with that. I have called them numerous times in order to work something out, maybe get the same value car rental compared to the one I am leasing, but they dont want to do anything. The customer means NOTHING to this company. You are absolutely 0 to them. As long as they are getting money from you they dont care how you are being inconvenienced.I had the pleasure of speaking to the regional manager of Ford in NY and she was utterly useless. The first time she called she couldnt even locate the car after I gave her the VIN and the dealership where the car is located. The second time she called she basically told me she cant do anything using her resources, another word I heard thrown around while on the phone with them. Its like they work on favors. She made it sound like I should feel privileged that they are even offering me a rental in the first place. She told me that the dealer can use their resources, again this word, and try to get the part faster or something. They are basically making me call everyone for them instead of them solving the issue. Its not my job do that, its theirs. Its the reason why they get paid. In my opinion this person gets paid for no reason and her job should be given to someone else that can actually help the customer. So to review: stuck 3 months without a car I am paying for, Ford is offering a partial reimbursement for a rental, Ford regional manager is useless (she does anything but manage). I will never in my life consider buying/leasing a Ford product again (including Lincoln).

My purchase was in April 2019, a used Ford Edge Ecoboost. 3 weeks after purchase I found myself stranded on my way home from work in rural Iowa. There were no prior warnings, notifications, etc; just a complete vehicle shutdown. Luckily I did not impact with anyone or vice versa. If I would have been on the highway only God knows what may have happened. Wound up having to have vehicle towed and engine replacement.... Bad start on a new to me purchase. Once again the vehicle is sitting dead in the water. This time came out of grocery store to a stalled vehicle. No indicators, it just wont start. The key fob is a possible cause, however over $300.00 for new key, it could be the battery, or the starter, or the alternator, or a fuse or 1 of the 10,000 electrical components under the hood....Hmmm I also find it ridiculous that Ford does not provide service repair manuals FREE to vehicle owners. Come on guys. With the amount of recalls on your branded vehicles its the least you could do. Anyhow Id like to know why there has not been a recall on the 2012 Edge 2.0 Ecoboost turbochargers; there are so many of the stall while driving complaints it should be mandatory and would be humane. Ford should fix these issues especially during this time of chaos, change and unexpected futures, the last thing I needed was to have a vehicle that is non functional during the winter in the middle of a PANDEMIC. Hats off to Ford manufacturers and prayers out to those who, like me, still own one of their vehicles.

The 2008 Mercury Mariner is a wonderfully comfortable car. It rides like a luxury vehicle. It also is a beautiful design and looks like an expensive vehicle. It goes well in all types of weather and repairs are fairly inexpensive. Love the adjustable seats and it has Bluetooth and wireless radio as well. The gas mileage is awesome. I love the hatch which has room to spare and it has 2 openings for easy packing and removing. I like the ground clearance too and I love the electric windows, the power seats. The radio and stereo are very nice and I can go about anywhere and the vehicle runs like a 4 wheel drive. I also love the leg room, my husband who is 62 fits well and is comfortable. I also like the roomy backseat so that the kids are not crowded. The car is like a luxury car on a Pinto budget. Some of the body parts are hard to find though. And the radio could use better speakers. A better variety of colors and interior options could be offered as well. The windows need to have better tinting to them. Lighted mirrors would be nice. Also running boards and luggage racks should be standard.

Purchased 2014 Ford Fiesta new in May 2014. Automatic Transmission started slipping within 5 months. Car was shaking and shuddering in traffic jam in San Francisco. Feels like Im a kid trying to learn how to use a manual transmission. Took it in 4 times (about every 6 months) and each time the dealer reprogrammed the computer that controls the clutch. Runs ok for a while, then starts acting up again. Yesterday the dealer verified that the clutch was slipping after reprogramming and that clutch must be replaced. The car doesnt even have 36,000 miles on it. Of course the parts to repair the car on back-order for at least 4 months. And the real kicker. Im moving 500 miles south next week. The dealer told me that if I take the Fiesta into another dealership, they will not honor the diagnosis to replace the clutch until they make their own evaluation. What a total disappointment in Ford. I purchased new Fords in 1982, 1988, 1992, 1999, 2003, 2005, and 2014. NEVER again. No more Fix or Repair daily for me.

My car is currently disabled from driving due to a severe transmission clutch shudder. I have been told many different things in regards to my vehicle by your customer service team. I also found that they had very limited empathy to the fact that my car was so significantly impacted by a clear manufactory issue that I almost got into a significant accident and was fearful for my life while driving it recently. My car first experienced the shudder after a year of driving it. It was attempted to be fixed in February 2017 for the exact issue. The problem subsided for awhile, and then gradually came back. The first dealership that tried to fix the issue was All American Ford in Old Bridge, NJ. The people here were competent and were helpful, because they were reimbursed by Ford for their service. The shudder returned of course. I went to a Ford dealership in Lakewood, NJ. Called Larsen Ford to see if they could look at the continuing issue. The service advisor Dave ** who I met with didn’t greet me. Another employee said hello and acknowledged me. Told me to sit in front of Dave. I sat in front of Dave, who didn’t even look at me while he was on his computer. After, I guess looking into my VIN number finally addressed I was sitting there in front of him. Discussed with me that I had no available warranty on my car in regards to the transmission clutch shudder issue, and then stated that it might not be transmission clutch shudder issue without even looking at my car. I felt he didn’t even discuss or look at my car because he knew it wasn’t going to be reimbursed by Ford. He also made me feel like I lacked intelligence, probably because I am a woman and acted like I knew nothing in regards to the car’s issue when in fact it’s hard not to know since Ford is currently being sued for the issue. I quickly left there. In between finding another dealership to help fix the problem, my car was completely affected by the transmission clutch shudder issue. It was terrifying driving it while this Accord, and a giant truck almost plowed into me, because the car jerked forward and back with acceleration and also when braking. It was brought to All American Ford in Point Pleasant, NJ where it is currently sitting because Ford does not want to take responsibility for their poor design manufacturing issue by placing a clutch system that burns off. My car is not currently being worked on, because Ford states that only certain cars can receive the extended warranty under the Customer Satisfaction Program 14M01 - Supplement #6.The customer “satisfaction” program has not satisfied this customer. In trying to reach out to your customer care representatives was even worse than dealing with the dealerships. I spoke to multiple representatives who had a difficult time understanding my English pronunciation and each told me different things: 3/15/19 - Jane told me that when requesting to speak with a supervisor it was pointless, because they will tell me the same thing. She was also unable to tell me exactly why my car was not covered under the warranty hence why I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She did note to request a supervisor to contact me in a business day.3/18/19 - I did not receive a phone call from a supervisor, so I called back again. I spoke with a John who told me that a supervisor placed a call however he couldn’t tell me when or what number so that I could make sure to answer. No supervisor of course was available. I asked to make a FM360 claim, he said only a supervisor could do that. Requested a supervisor to call me back. In addition, told me that dealerships can talk to Ford corporation in regards to reimbursement of warranty funds. 3/19/19 - A supervisor called me at 7:00 pm, however I was eating dinner with family after a long day at work.3/20/19 - Spoke to Gail a supervisor who informed me that the warranty is not covered for me because my car was made in October 2013 not in June 2013 (only a couple months later). I expressed my concerns since its the same exact transmission clutch shudder issue attempted to be fixed the first time, and why are only certain lucky Ford owners experiencing the same issue the only ones privileged to be reimbursed. In addition, she informed me that previous representatives could have filed a FM360 claim even though they told me a supervisor could. I also asked why the TMZ module is covered, however the clutches aren’t. She could not answer that question. She kept on repeating herself, talking over me in a scripted manner, and did not address my specific questions. I requested to speak to another supervisor other than Gail, and she denied my request. I kept on clarifying her statements and requesting for her to note to speak to another supervisor in case they had other information. In short, she denied my request and hung up on me.Ford has not rectified their design manufacturing mistake and would like to make their customers pay out of pocket for their error. I have a car that is not even 5 years old in which I have to pay $2000 for. I have paid for new tires, oil changes, and checks. I have made sure my car is updated on my end. My car is not driveable and I have to spend every day speaking to your employees who don’t want to help. In addition, due to research and speaking with Ford dealerships the problem will still continue even if the clutches are replaced.Ford has a responsibility to their customers and to keep them safe. They have designed and made unsafe vehicles and are unwilling to help out ALL of their customers. I hoping that someone will be in contact with me in regards to my issue. I am requesting that my current Ford dealership be reimbursed for the clutches. I am told that even if they replace the TMZ module, the car will not drive without the clutches being replaced. Someone needs to rectify the issue.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the Ford edge car. I bought this car in Dec 2012 and it had 3 years free service and warranty. During the past 2.5 years the car has refused to start twice at crucial times and had to be sent to the workshop. I was told that the battery was faulty and it was replaced 2 times. On 1 occasion the car cooling hose burst in the middle of peak hour traffic on Sheikh Zayed road. I had to call a tow truck and sent to workshop. I got the car additional 2 years 20k km free servicing by paying over AED 3000 however as soon as the 60k km warranty was over the car started to miss engine beats and stopped in mid traffic many times. Again at the workshop I was billed for AED 1320 for labour and replacement of spark plugs and catalytic cleaning. Now the workshop has informed me that the battery needs to be replaced again 3rd time and I will have to pay for this. Any other competitors car would not have given me so much problem seeing that till date it is driven locally in Dubai only 68k km and is 2.5 years old. Very poor quality not expected from FORD.

I leased a 2015 Ford Fusion in the fall/winter of 2014 and have had it for 3 years and it gave me no problems the entire time. I took it on a few trips and it was great! I just traded it in thinking I would try a foreign car to take advantage of the mileage that they advertise so I traded it in for a 2017 Kia Optima. Ive had this car for less than 2 months and it has given me nothing but trouble (electrical/engine related). Its been in the shop for 2 weeks now and I havent heard any updates from the service manager as to when itll be fixed, or what the problems are with it. Ive dealt with the roadside assistance, the service center, the corporate office and of course the dealership and Ive been sorely disappointed with every aspect of Kias customer service. Ive been treated like a number and told that if Im unsatisfied with the vehicle that I should wrap it around a tree and get something else. Im never purchasing from Kia again... I miss my Ford sooo much!!!

I purchased a 2011 Ford edge. I was recently reading the different features and realized that Sync was now compatible with IOS phones and I could listen to texts messages. Well, here is where it all begins. I contact the sync service because after following the online instructions to try and use the text feature. I was unsuccessful. The person gets on the phone and I explain my issue. She has me go to my car and go into settings insisting that I find this particular setting that did not exist. After arguing with her for about 30 mins. She finally decided to get a supervisor involved. She then came back and realized I needed to do a update install. So I followed her instructions to go on the website. Again I was unsuccessful downloading the update. In the meantime I do a vehicle report. Something that comes with your son account. While still trying to figure out how to download the update. I see in red on the following. VIN: **. FSA Title: Sync with MyFord/MyLincoln touch - warranty extension covering accessory protocol interface module (APIM). Field Service Action Number: 12M02. VIN: **. FSA Title: Extended warranty coverage on brake booster. Field Service Action Number: **.Now I tried several times to do the install. So I call in and a lady comes on and I explain to her I am unable to get the install to work. I also tell her at the time I am using a mac computer and she tells me that is fine. So she begins walking me through the steps. One of the steps is to drag three folders over to the usb. I explain to her that there is like 17. She says there should only be three that I did something wrong. So she proceeds to tell me to go ahead and just drag the first 3 over and try that. So after several attempts and an hour goes by. She finally talks to her supervisor. She comes back on and says. I am really sorry but my supervisor just told me we are having issues with the install with people using MAC. (Wow you just figured that out?) So she tells me that I will have to use a windows system. So I do that and the items I need load on the USB. So again I follow the instructions to install the update. Now it says the update will take around 30 mins. I install the usb. It does a few things and the screen goes blank. It says this is normal. An hour later the screen still has not come on. So I call Sync services again. I explain the issue and so the lady walks me through some steps and nothing worked to bring my screen up... So then she says she wants to check something else out. She comes back and says I found that your car has an extended warranty on the APIM that there is issues with it. She proceeds to give me a code number and tells me to go to the dealer and they will repair it at no charge. I go to the dealer and the dealer also sees that there is an extended warranty. So I make my appoint drop my car off and I get a phone call from the dealer. Telling me the APIM is bad. However is not under warranty.I was angry at this point. Had I been warned that the install may cause this issue and was told it was not under warranty I would have considered leaving it alone and going about my business or consulted the local dealership on the cost which is approximately $800 for something that Ford admitted was an issue. So I spend the next hour trying to get someone to listen. Only to be told sorry that warranty was for only five years and it ran out last year. So there was a huge lack of customer service experience by several people that work for Ford. But also my vehicle report was inaccurate. How can say. We know something is wrong. But we are going put a cap on how much time you get to getting it repaired. It was bad to begin with so I suffer for your mistakes? Needless to say I got nowhere.

Ford dont care about their customers or the ones that drive their junk. We will have a long wait till well be able to buy another car. Thanks to Ford Motor Company. But in a few years there wont be a Ford in my yard and Im going to get this in the news and buy a billboard and will leave bad marks on every Ford site I can.

2016 Ford Escape 1.6 engine - I bought this Ford Escape because I have always bought Fords, American made. When I bought this Ford I was happy with the deal and the vehicle, shook the salesman hand and was told, Youre getting a really good vehicle here. You keep up the oil changes and get new tires when needed, you probably will have this vehicle for a very long time. I commute 170 miles round trip per day to work from home. Averaging about 35,000-40,000 per year. Current mileage was 85,000 miles when driving down the road and vehicle began to lose power and the engine RPM increased. On the cluster red wrench light came on transmission fault service now and I could not accelerate. And the car decelerated rapidly. I managed to get the vehicle back to the house. Started it the next morning and got about 3 miles from the house when it repeated the same issues.I arranged for a flatbed to transport my vehicle to the local Ford dealership to get the vehicle diagnosed. Was informed from the service rep that the computer was indicating No Pressure and Improper Gear Ratio. Was told that Ford recommends to replace the entire transmission, which quoted a price of $4,700.00 for the part and an additional $1,500 to $2,000 for labor to remove and install the transmission. Warranty on a replaced transmission would be 100,000 miles and 3 years. What I do not understand is if a replacement transmission has this warranty, why does not a transmission in a vehicle built from the factory have the same warranty? Vehicle was no longer under the Ford standard Powertrain Warranty of 60,000 miles so, cost was all out of pocket.Service rep made the recommendation of contact Ford Service Customer Care and submit a claim. Made the call that evening and within 2 days received a response, stating: We have thoroughly reviewed your request and after careful consideration we regret that Ford is not able to provide financial assistance to address your issue. We are sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations at this time and recommend you continue to work with your Ford dealership to provide the best service for your vehicle in the future. So much for customer care. I understand that the vehicle has 85,000 but still it is only a 2 year old vehicle. Under the Ford Maintenance Schedule for a 2016 Ford Escape, the transmission is not to be serviced till 150,000 miles, which is just an oil change. I have had this vehicle serviced religiously with Ford for all oil changes, tire rotations or any other mechanical issue. Always have had a multi-point inspection done as well on the vehicle. Just had this vehicle serviced the month prior to this event and received a green check across the board on everything.Would recommend having your transmission looked at more closely in this vehicle, can be a costly overlook to you by your Ford service department. Needless to say, was not happy with Ford handling of this situation and especially the Ford Customer Care Relationship Center. Must be easy for someone to push a button saying No, when they do not need to put their name on a response and account for their actions.

I have two recalls on my 2013 Fusion. I asked the dealership and customer service if I would be provided a loaner car if the repair took more than four hours. I was told that Ford does not provide loaners for either recall. This is totally unacceptable. Ford has sold me a defective vehicle and now to add insult to injury, they are telling me it is my responsibility to provide transportation for myself due to this defective vehicle. I am paying a car note to drive a vehicle, now I will either have to pay for a rental or inconvenience someone else and pay them for their gas. How does Ford think I should be responsible for additional costs because they sold me a defective product? I have informed the dealership and customer service that I will never purchase another Ford product because of this.

Its been over 3 months since I have reported issues with Sync and Navigation to the Ford Dealer and over a month since I wrote to the President NA, of Ford. They did respond and send a FSE to a service dealership to resolve the issue. He upgraded the software and said this will fix everything, I dont think he even checked if the problem is resolved. I have had my Edge back from them for 9 days and the problem is the same, they wanted videos of the issues which I sent them and have followed up. It seems they have only FSE for SYNC in NA and they are waiting for him to return to MI. Its obvious that customers are not important to Ford, I suppose Ford is what Mercury used to be!!

I am very upset to the point where I am in the midst of contacting the Better Business Bureau and posting a blog online regarding your company lack of integrity and manner of doing business. In November, my 2010 Ford Edge which is currently financed through your company caught on fire due to an ABS issue. I bought the vehicle as a used vehicle in 2013. I contacted my local dealership to report the problem. It took them 7 days before someone contacted me regarding a diagnosis of the problem. The car was towed but someone failed to address the issue. I was initially told it was my issue. Coincidentally, I went online and found out that that there was an issue and there was a recall at which point someone decided that they will look into the matter. The service department decided that they would begin repair on the vehicle. I was given a rental while the repair were to be done.First, the service repair advisor was incompetent as I had been calling everyday to get a status of the vehicle and each time I was told that they are working on it or the parts was not in. Your record would also reflect every time I made a phone call and spoke to someone, even calls made to your corporate headquarters. I was even assured that because of the situation everything would be handled. What I fail to understand that why it took almost 5 weeks for a part to come in. Its a Ford vehicle part, should be readily accessible. It is not an older model vehicle so what was the issue here? Here is where I am really pissed off with this whole situation. My mom went in today to get her vehicle oil changed. Note, hers is 2014 Edge as well. I relayed my concern to her and she decided to find out exactly what was going on. Ironically, what my mom was told that is the they can pick the car up today. How coincidental? She asked about the rental and was told that they were only covered for 10 days. Well, that is not acceptable or reasonable. We had no control on how long it would have taken to repair the vehicle. Why should we be penalized with a $1500.00 bill when nothing that occurred was within our control. Ford Motor Company was in total control of this situation from beginning to end and we are now receiving the ** end of this situation by being held hostage to pay a $1500.00 rental bill which I dont have especially this time of the year.Your local dealership was less than accommodating and did nothing within their power to expedite the repair of the vehicle. This was I believe the company did in order to recoup the cost of repairing the vehicle. They held on to the vehicle for as long as they could. The prolonged the process, which increased the cost of the rental, which was deceitful and as unprofessional. Your company is not a small mom and pop repair shop. You are a major company and should have pride and integrity in the way you do business. My mom has been a valued Ford customer for over 20 years. Every vehicle she has ever owned was a Ford vehicle. This has left us and her very dissatisfied with your company and your business practice. I still feels that we can come to some amicable agreement. As I said before, I am between a rock and a hard place as I have no other choice because I will need my vehicle especially since I am one vehicle home currently since I also I have another Ford vehicle that is also down because of needed repairs.I close with this statement - I am a very unhappy and dissatisfied customer. I am also not going to roll over and let this slide. Based on how this turns on it is my intent to take further action on this matter. I do intend to post pictures on the Internet of the vehicle. It may cost me $1500.00 but in the long run when I am done it will cost the company more based on reviews I will post online and providing feedback and reviews for this vehicle and your company as a whole. Looking forward to hearing from you. I would rate lower than a 1 star. Unfortunately it does not go lower than a 1.

This was in 2017, my 2016 Ford Transit Connect Sunroof curtain was jammed and will not close when my warranty mileage was still under 30k miles. When I called the Ford dealer in Hagerstown MD to look at it they told me to bring it in on their next available date which was almost 1 wk plus away. I told them that I was traveling out of state; anyway when I finally took the van to them they told me that my warranty was 1k 100 miles off to call Ford motors. When I called them they told me to call my branch dealer which I told that I have already did & they told me that they cant do anything about it. So now Im stucked with this defective curtain rail that will not close. Still Love my little Transit connect.

Recently my car was smelling like gas, so we pulled it out of the garage for a day not sure if that was actually the problem. Again after leaving it in the garage over night the smell was very strong of gasoline. We took it to a shop right up the street thinking that maybe it was a gas filter issue but once they lifted the car up it was clear that there was a gas leak at seam or the half full level as described by the automotive technician. We were referred to the Ford dealer. We called the dealer who informed us that there was a recall on the gas tank for this vehicle and to bring the car in. I paid over 80 dollars to have the car towed to Avis Ford in Southfield, Mi. from Belleville, Mi. Only to be told that there was a mistake and that the 2009 Edge was not included in the recall. After doing further research I have found that many Ford models from 2007-2014 have had gas tank leak issues. Manufacturer related not customer related damage to the tank. It frightens me to think that something as important as the gas tank should EVER leak because of manufacturer NEGLIGENCE and then when addressed with the dealer, the same dealer that my family has purchased 6 cars from that I would be told it wasnt covered. So when does the recall actually go into effect on a car/part? Does it take us dying or being seriously injured to create a recall on something as serious as a gas tank? I travel with an infant in my backseat 5 days per week and cannot imagine a gas related fire in my car with a baby in a 5 point restraint car seat and being able to get them out safely in an event such as that. I have always purchased my vehicles based on safety ratings first, but I guess the Ford built Edge is a hoax for customers like me.Prior to todays car problems, I had my car into Avis Ford several times for transmissions problems. Gear slippage within the first year of ownership and continuously over the years. They could never find anything wrong with it. The problem got so bad that I took the car to Precision Tune on 8 mile where the Master Mechanic said my transmission was bad, the fluid inside was black and take it to the dealer and I would need a new transmission. I went to the dealer and my car was still under warranty. I showed them the Info from the shop I had just came from. They kept the car a few days, said it was just a leak. They repaired the so called leak and said I did not need a new transmission.Few months pass and I return to the dealer with the same issues and I am no longer under the warranty. Im then given an estimate of $4600.00 worth of transmission related work. I feel like Ive been sold a $ 40,000.00 LEMON and only have 60,000 miles on it. Sadly I will never buy another vehicle from Avis Ford nor suggest anyone I know to either. I have decided to notify the BBB, the NTSB and whatever agencies govern these issues.

I leased a 2017 Fusion Energi in late December. About three weeks ago, I found the battery completely dead. After jumping the vehicle, I took it to the dealership (521 miles on the vehicle). After numerous discussions with the dealership, as well as Ford Customer support, I have been told that the part is back ordered with no delivery date identified. In the meantime, I have to continue making the payments, etc. while I wait for a resolution. Ford has offered no options related to this situation other than to wait for the part which, as I state, has no delivery date associated with it. The customer service follow-through post purchase is nothing short of terrible. If you are considering purchasing a Ford product, I encourage you to reconsider. I know this is the last Ford product I will ever purchase.

I love that for a small hatchback it sits higher and has more headroom than all its peers. It has excellent acceleration as well as a very responsive ABS braking system, compared to its competitors in this class. The Ford Sync system and USB plug-ins were state-of-the-art when I bought it in 2013, and still work great. It has good shocks and very comfortable seats with lumbar support. The split, lay-flat rear seat gives a huge cargo space for a small car. Of all the hybrids in this class, this one sounded like the best on paper and turned out to meet or exceed my expectations...and still gets nearly 40 mpg on the highway. The one thing that wasnt well made was the handle release for lowering the rear seats. One side broke away from the cables under the seat so it doesnt work to lower the seat and is very expensive to fix- requires a total seat replacement, over $1000. So not worth it to me now.

Updated on 02/18/2020: So I call Ford Customer service today, again and because I havent received any updates on my complaint I ask for Adriana **s supervisor to see if maybe I can get a ending in all this ridiculous and absurd case of malfunctioning Ford USB navigation update. So again nothing, I have to wait and see if this supervisor will respond....I will keep calling and posting because this is the only way that I may help others not to make the same mistake and purchase a navigation system update by using the USB that Ford is selling for 152 dollars.Updated on 02/12/2020: After I received an email from Ford customer service said that I need to call the Ford dealer director....after a month 1/2....I decided to call today again and I call 7 times asking for help....the last person that I talked to told me that I have to call 18009008458....navigation system customer support, so I spoke with Melanie, explain my problem and you are not going to believe this, she said that there is nothing she can do, that I have to call Ford customer service 18003923673...again. I call 7 times today....Sorry you have to call back so they can call us.... call us....I pay 154 for an update on my navigation system and 107 to fix the part that was damage by the USB that Ford send me and now there is no one who is responsible to all this and there is nothing that I can do to have my money back.Original Review: Im the owner of a Ford F150 and I was advised by a letter from Ford motor company that my navigation system needed an update and for me to be able to have it I have to purchase. Went to the website and after writing down the VIN number and the navigation system code I paid 175 dollars. After a fews day I received and USB with all the installed instructions. The truck need to be running and it will take around 60 minutes, so I sat and followed the instructions, after a few seconds my screen was white and said navigation system error and then the alarm of the truck went off and the radio. So I decided to call to the number that it was showing in the USB box. Customer support. I was talking to a person name Jasmin. Tried really because her background was a baby crying, so she put me on hold. Wait and wait. I decided to call my Ford dealership and explain the situation. The only solution it was for me to drove and get my battery. That resolve the sound problem, but my navigation system was white and showed a navigation error. So I decided to made an appointment to the following day which was Monday at 9am. Monday the only person who does fix this type of problem show up and say, I dont have time today, come back tomorrow, maybe tomorrow. maybe? So I need another appointment to Thursday at 8am. There I was listening to the manager talking to customer service. Doesnt she has a guarantee? Yes she has. Well let order the part. Part? I just need an update. As a result I have to paid another 107. The USB that I received from Ford motor company damaged my navigation system and a part needed to be replaced. I call Ford motor complaint department and explain all the situation, and after a month of calls and emails I received an email said this is the director phone number for you to call it. What I want, I want my money back thats all. There was nothing wrong with my pickup before all this update thing. Did I got my update. I dont think so no.

I bought a 2016 Ford Focus SE with the 6 speed transmission. At 20K had the computer flashed, noticed excessive shutter at low speeds while turning and accelerating. I contacted the dealer and like they tell everyone to adjust their driving habits which I did, I use this car for business and has a lot of highway miles, I am currently at 92,000 which I planned on retiring this car at 100k to give to my wife. At 88,000 miles the transmission started slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear, unable to kick down at 50 mph to pass anyone without major slipping, in stop and go traffic it smashes into gear hard. Took it into the dealer and they say its 1800 to replace the clutches and seals and they refuse to replace it even after I told them that they are responsible because this has been a huge parts failure for years, never had a transmission fail this early on a Ford. Ford Motors still refuses to replace it because I am outside my warranty and even when obviously this wearing out obviously started a long time ago to already be bad before 100k, as the 2016 models get more miles on them we will be seeing more and more 2016s with the same issues as the previous models. I bought Ford because its American made so I thought when really its Mexican made, if I am going to buy foreign I will take my chances on Japanese at this point. Sorry Ford. I used to love you but since you have taken 2 weeks and still havent giving me an answer on a approval to fix your massive clutch issue leaving my family in jeopardy without a safe car to drive. Were finished. Ford still tries to sidestep their problems even when there are so many people with the same parts issue is unacceptable.

We purchased a Ford Edge for the specific reason of towing it behind our RV. The dealership assured us the transmission was built to enable us to tow it four wheels down. This part is true, but what they neglected to tell us is that the car does not charge the battery unless it is idling or being driven, leaving us with a completely dead battery after even an hour! After talking with the customer service at the Ford Corp... thats it. Pretty much too bad. The manual tells you to start the car after 4-5 hours of towing, which is difficult since it is dead after one hour. Ford could not even give any assistance in what could be done as far as spark plugs, trickle charger, etc. Too bad... a $27,000 mistake. I wish I had my CRV back; no problems whatsoever!

I have owned a Ford since I got my license at 16 years old. I have had nothing but issues with them, and I always think - Ill just try again. I will not be trying again. The last SUV I had was a Ford Edge. 58,000 miles the computer crashed it. Barely made warranty. 75k I had 2 different parts of the transmission go back to back, within months of each other. Shift solenoid one time, I believe the computer to the transmission the other. $4,000 later! Now, I have a 2015 Ford Fusion, bought brand new. I work from home and really do not drive a ton, but average, slightly under. Has 50,000 miles on it. Its already had the same shift solenoid transmission issue, and now it is back in the shop again - computer crashed. All done! The service guys are great, but the fact that this keeps happening on moderately new vehicles is absolutely unacceptable!
