In February 2017 I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe with 26 miles, brand new. When it hit 2000 miles, the Tahoe stopped by itself, took it to the dealership, found nothing. Second time at 3300 again it stopped, stalled, took it again, found nothing. Third time 4500, took it in, replaced negative battery cable. Fourth time 5357, took it in, replaced fuse box. Really. Unbelievable. Frustrated, not confident in vehicle, safety issue. What to do, suggestions. Anyone.

You shouldnt have problems like that with a new car. However, other than those it has been a good car, good price, and good gas mileage.

Im not a fan of it (Chevy 1500 Van). The vehicle was said to be in much better condition than it is. It was being sold by a family member and so we thought they would be honest about the condition of the vehicle. It breaks down too easily and has been in the shop several times this year. The only thing that I like about the vehicle is that it is big enough to accommodate my family. However, I would honestly overhaul the entire thing. The upholstery is garbage, the engine is hard to work on because of how built. I have never had a vehicle break on me the way this one had.

My Tahoe LTZ is all and more they said it would be. It is very stylish and beautiful. It has snap when you press on the gas at zero and even snap at 60 miles per hour. There is plenty of room for 6 people but I will say that the 2 sitting in the very back need to be agile or of the younger generation. Overall, I love my Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I would buy another one all over again.

I own a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. While I was driving down the highway in Chicago Illinois at approx 55 mph the vehicle self accelerated to the maximum throttle position (pedal went to the floor). I could not get the vehicle to stop. Applied both feet to brake pedal while moving like a bullet. The vehicle suddenly lost power and I lost control of the vehicle spinning me around at approx 80 mph and crashing into the median wall now facing on coming traffic with cars trying to avoid crashing into me. Most horrific and scariest experience in my life. Not a single airbag deployed leaving me with serious injuries and a completely totaled vehicle! When I contacted GM to complain about this issue they told me they would escalate my complaint and someone would contact me within 24 hours. However a week went by and no one has called to follow up, apologize, and or even offer concern and I contacted them every day after the accident. I was constantly told the same story someone would be in touch! This happened February 22, 2017. As a loyal GM customer I am highly upset!! And will never purchase another GM product as long as I live! I have owned nothing but GM my entire life but never again. This company cares nothing about life whatsoever. They only care about the almighty dollar! After doing research I found several complaint about this unintended acceleration issue as well as no airbag deployment. Only by the grace of god I am alive today! Shame on you GM. You have lost a customer for life and I will tell the world how selfish and inconsiderate you are about caring, about quality of your cars, as well standing up for your mistakes! I could have killed my family as well as other families in the process and they wont even recall the vehicles to prevent further crisis situations. They wont do so until many families have died and it cost more to pay the claims than to recall the vehicles. As a 701 union mechanic I would be ashamed to even be employed by this so called manufacturer! Owner beware. If you own a Chevrolet Trailblazer get park it now and get rid of it! Dont take it to be service. They will most likely turn you around and say your vehicle is fine! Salvage that vehicle and do your research before you buy anything else!

Chevy silverado 2009 - $800 mirror replacement for a right front turn signal bulb out. A poor assembly in the right side mirror needed to be replaced to make a right turn signal, in the front only, work. Its GMs issue, no fault of mine. GMs consumer affairs is less than accountable. Out of warranty, yet no damage other than the wiring, and 60,021 miles. Proof in the mirror I have. They caused the issue, but its mine. Caveat Emptor.

In the last 4 months I purchased 2 used Chevy Volts with low miles and excellent condition. They replaced two Toyota Prius my wife and I owned. We’ve been Prius owners for 12 years, and have had a great experience with Toyota, but the Volt appealed to us for its much greater battery capacity as well as how it drives. What I didn’t anticipate was a far worse repair experience than I’ve ever had with any car in the last 40 years, and the fault is with Chevy and GM, not the dealer, for not having a commonly failing part available for the repair. It’s been 3 weeks now waiting for the part. In the meantime over many calls to GM for help, they have been absolutely awful. Day after day they apologize but they can’t tell you when the part will arrive, so I don’t know when I’ll get my car back.Three weeks after buying the second Volt, I had a problem starting it. I eventually got it started and drove it to the closest dealer in Arlington, MA. They told me right away it sounded like a common problem with the shifter assembly, but unfortunately the part was in backorder. Under the extended warranty I purchased, I had 6 days of a loaner car covered, so I got one and didn’t worry. A week later, the dealer still had no idea when the part would come from GM.That’s when I called GM and opened a case with Customer Service. The call center folks are friendly and try to help but are extremely limited as far as solving any problem. They assigned me a Senior Advisor however, and that was supposed to get my case escalated. But the Advisor also couldn’t tell me when the part would arrive. They also could not offer me any coverage for a loaner car during the extended wait for the part. The Advisor resorted to reciting policy to me on this issue. On multiple occasions I have tried to reach the Advisor to share information from the dealer or ask for an update. I’ve never been able to reach her the same day or next day. It has taken 2-3 days and messages and escalations for her to respond.Last week both the dealer and GM said the part was expected to ship that week. It didn’t. I called every day for an update and never got any sense that anyone knows anything about the parts availability. Then they said the part shipped last Friday so it should arrive that day or next day. The dealer looks for it every day but still hasn’t seen it (Tuesday). Again my calls to the Advisor, to ask about tracking the shipment, have not been returned. After borrowing my wife’s car for a week, which left her without a car, and getting rides to work from colleagues, I rented a car yesterday. With the extended warranty already used, and GMs policy preventing them providing any coverage since the manufacturers warranty has just passed a few months ago, I am now stuck with the rental cost, for how long I don’t know. The dealer says there’s nothing they can do til the part arrives. GM customer service says there’s nothing they can do to get the part to the dealer. The people responsible to make the part and ship it are completely insulated, as are any higher level managers, since customer service has said they can’t provide me any further contacts.I think the Volt is a great car. This mechanical issue is very minor. The car has a good reputation for reliability. But Chevy and GM can’t seem to provide a part for a common issue in the car. I’ve since heard that some Volt owners purchase and stockpile certain parts that occasionally fail, because they anticipate GM won’t be able to provide the part for repair. At this point I’m committed to the car, but don’t think I’ll ever buy another GM product in this lifetime, based on how poorly they’ve handled this. And I recommend the same for any car buyer. A global, multi-billion $ company can’t have common repair parts available within a day or two - that is a company that deserves to go out of business. And no more government bailouts. After buying the first one several months ago I bought another. Three weeks later I had a

The build quality seems to be good but not perfect. The same with performance. I love the Chevy Volt. The battery gives us enough range on a full charge to get almost anywhere during the average day. Its quiet and runs smoothly with lots of power. There have been problems, of course. While the software is generally great, the entertainment center software had big problems. Software updates have helped a lot. And, we had a problem where the transmission control unit short-circuited. Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.

Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles t
Reported problem: Full Charge mileage range reduction from 238 plus miles to ~156 miles. Courtesy Recall ** Loss of propulsion High Voltage Battery Without Notification. Complaint: The normal vehicle range of 238 miles is reduced 35% to 156 miles. After the courtesy recall the range was further reduced another 27% to 115 miles. GM acknowledges this reduction in range but is calling it normal. When the vehicle was delivered to Jack Evans for service, I reported the issue with decreased range. I noted that I drive ~150 miles round trip for work daily, with the decreased range I was unable to use the vehicle for the intended purpose as there was insufficient margin. I feared not being able to get home. The dealer agreed that the vehicle was reporting range of 157 miles with full charge but were unable to find any issue with the battery. They contacted GM Technical support for advice and were provided no additional information on the problem. Sarah the Service Manager at Jack Evans told me that GM tech support advised her to report the issue on the invoice as “Customer Concern Not Reproducible” and the decreased range is due to customer driving conditions and connecting my Cellphone to the infotainment system, what I am seeing is normal. After completion of the courtesy recall the vehicle was connected to a charging station, with zero miles driven. On 50-degree day the full charge range decreased from 157 to 115 miles. The Service Manager again told me this is caused by my driving style and environmental settings. The reduction in range after the service recall happened with no changes to driving or environmental settings. I was again advised to unplug my phone from the infotainment system as this could reduce range expectations. If I did not agree with the information presented, I should contact GM Customer Care. The dealer did not report the additional service recall related range reduction to GM Tech Support. GM Customer Care Case ** called in on 2/13/2019 was escalated to a Customer Care Manager. After receiving no further contact or status I contacted GM Customer Care on 2/21/2019. I was promised a status by end of the day. With nothing heard I again contacted GM Customer Care on 2/22/2019 only to be told I would be contacted in 2 or 3 business days. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that would also take 2 or 3 business days. I contacted GM Priority Care where I was forwarded to a Customer Care Manager. I was again told there is no problem with the vehicle. After some time reviewing the record, we determined the information I had been providing was not being documented, such as the reduction in range after the service recall. I was also told that Jack Evans service department reported no problems with the vehicle. As noted above, Jack Evans service department told me that service code was at the direction of GM technical support. My dispute with GM Customer Care is based on GM advising Jack Evans on how to report an issue then telling me there is no problem based on what was reported by Jack Evans. Further background: I drive the vehicle ~150 miles daily, charging the vehicle every night for the next day. I drive the same path every day, my environmental settings are set for 70 degrees, heated seats and steering wheel heater set to off. From April to November my typical range exceeded the estimated range of 238 miles, more likely around 300 miles. On the coldest day (5 degrees) with headlights on the reported range was ~185 miles, after 150 miles the system reported ~50 miles to go. The decreased range of 156 miles no longer allows me to use the vehicle for my daily work commute as intended. The further range reduction to 115 miles will not allow commuter use at all. General Motors Customer telling me the range reduction is normal when I know from experience this is a significant change from routine use is not acceptable. Usage and environmental settings are no longer an issue as I can no longer using the vehicle other than for errands. When I purchased this Chevy Bolt EV there were only two vehicle manufactures making an electric vehicle with a range above 200 miles between charges, one being Tesla, the other GM. With issues being reported and ignored by GM, there is only one remaining.

I bought a brand new 2016 Silverado in 2016 and have put 72000 (highway) miles on it. Took it into my local Chevy dealership because of a transmission shudder and whine right before shifting to the next gear. Torque converter is failing sending metal shavings through my transmission and destroying it. A bill of greater than 5500 for this transmission is absurd but not as crazy as a 3 year old transmission failing. Must be why they lowered the drivetrain warranty from 100k to only 60k. Have been a Chevy guy all my life, now looking into other brands due to their lack of standing behind a crap product.

It was a very dissatisfying experience at Kingdom Chevrolet in Chicago, IL. A 2018 Chevy Camaro 1LT was advertised as $17,695 on their website and seeing that I called Kingdom Chevy and confirmed the car availability and price. They were affirmative for both. I traveled all the way to their place for 2 hours and met the representative and he said there wont be any changes in the price and $17,695 is the final price plus TTL. We did the test drive and because the price was confirmed, I accepted for their credit run to know the APR that I will receive though I have an offer from bank. I gave all the confidential information and they ran my credit check. Now the manager comes and say, the price on the website was including some rebates and he can offer the car for $25500. Manager started asking me if I am in military or a student or a teacher, etc. How could a customer browsing through the internet know if rebates are applied or not. I was thinking $17,695 is a right price as 2019 models are already on the roads and they are trying to get rid of 2018 models and hence the price. I do not have concern on Chevrolet brand but the dealership is fooling the customers with false prices on their website.

If anyone thinking about buying a Chevy, maybe you should give it a second thought. My radio quit, been trying, for a month, to buy a new one. Now before you get ahead of me you have to know that a radio is no longer just a radio. My radio (Chevy Sonic) makes all the noises for signal lights, seat belt chime, door ajar, oil pressure, overheat, stop engine, keys left in ignition and maybe some stuff I dont know about. You set all the stuff the car does: Rear wiper, lights on when leave and a dozen other stuff. ALL OF THE ABOVE NO LONGER WORKS. 3 years old and I cannot buy a radio, dont have them, farmed out to another company, back ordered for??? Called a US dealer (just across from me). He said last time he ordered one of them took 6 months. Thought I would buy used, cant. They are tied to your VIN number. Oh, and by the way, the price installed (they have to install, gotta use GM computer) has varied from $1300.00 to $617.50. But because I cannot buy one have not spent any money. DOES GM care, nope, they just tell you the dealer (not you of course) must order and wait. IMPRESSIVE HUH!

I purchased a New Chevrolet Tahoe 2018 White Pearl and on the second day noticed a ZIT under the paint and looked around and saw hair fibers and sand under the white paint. I took to the Dealership and they sent to an Autobody Shop and it came back with a different shade darker, not happy with the result and sent to another Autobody shop in Clovis California and it came out ok. There were more fibers and fisheyes noticed and sent back again. This time it was totally torn apart and my vehicle was in there for 11 days. Spent 55k on a new Chevrolet Tahoe and this is what I am dealing with. I noticed more fibers in the paint and need to take back. The purchase of this SUV was record-breaking in that it was my first SUV and the newest vehicle I had ever owned. Within a year and a half I learned that GM believes that the engines in their vehicles can only be expected to last 5 years and that it is too bad, so sad that the engine in my vehicle stopped working. Anyone I spoke to found it inconceivable that a properly serviced vehicle would need to have the engine replaced at less than 100K miles.GM believes that since I did not have one of their dealers handle the repairs for my vehicles, there is nothing they can do as only their dealership can accurately diagnosis the cause of the engine failure and due to the age of the vehicle (barely 6 years old) it is solely my responsibility. The non-GM explanation as to the cause of the engine needing to be replaced was that the number one cylinder had grenaded damaging the electrode on spark plug.

Having had a decent experience with my first Trax, I opted to re-lease again. The newer Trax still has a few glitches and not too many upgrades. Still, its a good, solid, dependable little vehicle. In my opinion, the price could be lower since there arent too many extras included, just enough to not think youre driving a low-end vehicle. All in all, I like my Trax, and will continue to lease them in the future.

I love my Malibu. It has served me well. I am 80 yrs old and it is perfect for me. The ride is smooth and it handles easily. The display panel is convenient for me, and I enjoy all the options. The seat adjustment has come in very handy on those occasions when I have had knee issues and needed room to get a straightened leg in the drivers side. I liked my Malibu so much, I converted the lease to a purchase!

The 2018 Chevrolet Trax is a small SUV base model, thats missing a lot of bells and whistles. Found out the hard way after taking a road trip, there is no cruise control. No center console; no passenger armrest; no camera alarm when backing the vehicle up; one of the USB ports stopped working after 1 mo; feels like the AWD kicks in when it should not. Had an issue with the wifi after the trial period, reported to OnStar however, OnStar didnt tell us they fixed the wifi issue.

My Chevrolet is pretty good except I needed a new engine so the car kept breaking down on me and this was only a year in. Luckily I had a warranty on it so I was covered. Otherwise that would have been really bad. I wish the gas was a little better and that it didnt sound like a go cart. I also wish my windows worked better and had the GPS in it. We were going to get those factory installed but then that didnt work. I chose this car model because I was between this and the GMC Terrain. However the GMC Terrain was the first year it was out, I read online you should never buy a car the first year its out.

Chevy sucks. Bought my 2016 Chevy Trax in September 2015. Its been well maintained. At the 59,000 mile mark, the steering wheel locks up and the engine powers down with no warning, ESC lights comes on and the car loses acceleration. Took it to 1 dealer who keeps it for 4 weeks when they figure its a module. I brought it to my regular mechanic who has a relationship with another Chevy dealer so I could save on labor, they have it for ANOTHER 4 weeks. And still with the savings, it cost me $1120 for this repair on top of the $218 I paid for the original diagnostic. I finally get the car back, have it for a day and its the same problem! They replaced the battery, and STILL the problem is still occurring and the dealer cannot figure out what is wrong. This is Chevys crappy product! Nothing in the normal wear and tear of car ownership should have me shelling out all this money when I bought it brand new and have had it for 3 1/2 years. Ive made 3 car payments in the last 90 days and still dont have a car to drive. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVY AGAIN!

The battery is located in the trunk of the car. I show up to work and I smell burning wires. Thats the smell I smell inside the car. I opened my door and I see smoke coming out of the cracks of my trunk I freak out, I popped my trunk open and see theres a fire inside my trunk. The day prior I was working on a vehicle so I had my toolbox, a brand new can of carb cleaner in my trunk where tools should go. Well the can had hit the battery terminals and my toolbox managed to find its way on top of the can causing the spark and the contents inside the can obviously kept the flame going caught the toolbox on fire. Thank God nobody was hurt but thats a poor design. If youre going to put a battery in a trunk as a maker of a car put it in a contained area. A box of some sort. Protect the battery from anything a person may put in their trunk. Or even have another area for storage space for your tools, jumper cables, tow rope things like that keep the battery separated from anything that could be hazardous. That should only be common sense.

My Chevrolet SUV is dependable and its a great brand. I dont have problems with it and I havent had to change many parts. Theres plenty of room in the very back to store all kinds of things from groceries to luggage. Car seats fit easily for the kids. Gas mileage isnt the greatest but for the make of the car, it is decent. They are great family cars and an easy to drive vehicle as well.

I like the overall sleek body and with all the curves. I had made a few upgrades myself and now the car looks amazing and is still very fun to drive. The color also makes the car look more mean and nasty. It is a low model though and not much of any features are in this car. The Chevy Sonic LTZ Turbo 2015 gets great gas mileage. Its reliable, its small and in the backseat area it has a video player in radio. It also has bluetooth radio connections. I have had a few repairs but nothing major. Though I would like it to have more radio features, more room, dual AC and sunroof. They could also make OnStar GPS bigger when doing directions, make it easier to play videos on the TV, have a CD player loader, horn, armrest on passenger side and cup holders in back air vents in back. But other than those, I like the OnStar and XM radio. I also like that its a hatchback, has touchscreen radio, Pandora and USB port. It is easy to use radio and app for car information on gas mileage, oil mileage, turn car on and off and tire pressure diagnostics.

My 2019 Chevy High Country has been a nightmare. Within my 1 st week owning
My 2019 Chevy High Country has been a nightmare. Within my 1 st week owning my High Country I began to experience transmission problems. It would shift very hard between gears 3-5 up and down. I got hold of my dealer, Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Mo, informed them of the issue, a shop foreman took a ride with me and Agreed it was not right. We set an appointment for one week out, I thought this strange to wait a week for such a serious defect, the truck got much worse during the week. I then took truck in, after 2 days I called to check on it. The dealer had not even looked at the truck, I expressed my extreme displeasure in this, my truck is my work truck and need all my tools to do my job as a home builder. I then thought it important to contact Chevy, I called customer care, they opened a case # and said a specialist would call within two days, 3 & 1/2 days later they had still not called. In the meantime I learned the truck I traded in was still at dealership, I called them and Chevy customer care and stated I am extremely unhappy with my brand new $65,000 truck having transmission issues within the first three weeks of ownership and wanted to unwind the deal. I would buy my old truck back and give them back their lemon truck that I had purchased, Reliable Chevrolet refused to not sell the trade truck, Chevy customer care, stated they would reach out to Reliable Chevrolet and see if they can help us get this resolved. In the meantime Reliable Chevrolet finally got my truck in to service and said it needed a brand new transmission. They contacted Chevrolet and they agreed and said they were shipping a new transmission. Would take 2 to 3 days for it to arrive & another day to install it.I called in in three days later to check and see if they had received the transmission only to find out that Chevrolet engineers had change their mind and said it needed a modulator part to work correctly. I was very displeased because as stated above they told me to continue to drive the truck for a week, it’s smoked, I could smell the transmission oil burning, and the hardness of the shifting had to be doing permanent damage to the truck. I have been a loyal customer of Chevrolet, for all of my personal truck and my company vehicles for employees have been Chevrolet’s. In the last 10 years I’ve purchased 25 brand new Chevrolet trucks. With my experience from this 2019 Chevrolet High Country, and the way I was treated by Reliable Chevrolet Springfield Missouri, and the very poor customer service from Chevy customer care who never did call me back until after week after Reliable Chevrolet returned my truck, I will never again purchased a Chevrolet vehicle or deal with Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Missouri. My best advice is Buyer beware. My only voice With a large corporation like Chevrolet and this dealership which is very large in six states, is my buying power, they will no longer enjoy my business or have me or my company as customers, I have always spoken very highly of Chevrolet and actually argued with Ford owners about quality and service and brand loyalty, no more.

The reason I chose the Cheverlot Cavalier was the color and how it rode when I took it for a test drive. It was the perfect car for my small family. I didnt need anything big. The dealer was very convincing and told us about all the luxuries the car had, let us take it for a test drive and I was very pleased. I tested drove 2 other vehicles and they were not what I was looking for. They was nice but not what I wanted. But the last car I drive was suitable for me and met my expectations. Its got a lot of room in the trunk, tires are not expensive, doesnt take a lot to fill up the gas tank and gets me to work and other places I need to go without any problems. Like sunroof, radio, AC, seats are comfortable and the gas Mileage is amazing. But seat should be leather so they can be heated for cold days. For better quality maybe have power seats and windows instead of crank. Have more comfortable seats. Should have better radios in it and should get a backup camera so you dont hit anything or another vehicleOther than that Cheverlot Cavalier is one of the best cars Ive bought in years. If someone would ask me about buying a car I would recommend this model if they want something thats is easy in gas and just the right size. I would recommend it to all my friends and family and hope they would purchase and feel please about it. Also there is lots of different colors. In the car I chose comes with different luxuries. Its also American built car and not imported. I love it and I would buy another one.

She had seen and advertisement in the paper and wanted to go look at it. After test driving it, she asked me how I liked it, then she bought it. My Chevy Astro was a customized conversion van that I wanted to be able to use if and when I went weekend camping. It was perfect van for myself and my children. It was easy to clean, especially since it had its own built in dust buster that you plugged into in the back and could just run off the regular car battery. The van had a TV in the back with ear phones, a separate radio/cassette tape player with & w/out headphones, first aid kit, Kleenex box, cooler, bed in back that went down with the push of a button, fancy lighting in back, shades that pulled down in the back & sides & had the high top. Its just that the tires were an odd size that always needed special ordering so they were always more expensive. Also, I would have liked better gas mileage. I drove through 1ft of water and it took out my engine. Some may say its my fault just like the dealer. However if you advertise a truck let alone a 4x4 z71 offroad addition it should be able to handle some water. I have had plenty of my old truck in 3ft of water/mud and kept going like champions. A lifetime of driving chevys and I still just cant believe this. And Im stuck with the bill. Absolutely horse crap. Besides all the recalls that are going on with starts and rear windows leaking.. This is my very first car purchase. A car that I fell in love with and built myself down to the features in this car. Car purchased 8/16/17 drove off the lot with 30mi on it. About a week after having the car it shut off on me and has been happening since. For a brand new car why is it shutting off intermittently? This car has been in and out of the shop since I got it. The dealership Carl Black of Kennesaw finally witnessed it after having my car for about a month in January and replaced the fuse block which they thought was the issue. 2 week after getting my car back it shut off on me again! Brought them the car back the following day for them to keep it for two weeks and put over 1000mi on it. This is beyond ridiculous. Chevy is telling me they cant buy my car back because its under warranty. But dont safety issues qualify my car as a lemon?! We purchased a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe from Koon’s Chevrolet of White Marsh, MD in 2018. It now has 31,000 miles on it. We drove an hour to this dealership multiple times even though we could’ve bought 1 closer to home because we had loyalty to the sales person who spent all of the time with us. There was nothing better about the price etc. With owning our own business we understand the importance of time & commission. As of June 30th, it had 3 issues: 1. Air conditioner was not working. 2. Thump sound coming from under drivers side area when driving3. Peeling paint on an area where bumper meets side panelWe drove it out of town for the 4th of July holiday & the AC wasn’t working. I called & scheduled service on July 5 for a July 8 appointment. I explained to guy in service what the issues were & that I had tried to take it for the paint to another dealership closer to home & they advised that I would need to go to a dealership with a body shop & that Koons had 1 since that is where I had bought the car so when I made the appointment I notified of them of all of this & requested a loaner car since it would probably be a couple of day fix if it was paint related. They said OK & transferred me to the call center to make the appointment. I mentioned many times that I expected these things to be covered under warranty. At no time did anybody say they wouldn’t be or that my car was out of warranty. My husband takes the morning away from our business to drive the car an hour away for the services. Upon arrival at Koons, without even trying to be helpful or offering other avenues the service advisor (Charlie) was immediately snarky & couldn’t wait to tell my husband that the car was out of warranty & we would have to pay for the loaner & diagnostic fee & that any repair would be out of pocket because we were 11 days out of warranty even though mileage was low. When I made the appointment we were 3 business days out of warranty. This immediately upset us. My husband said, Isn’t there anything you can do? And the advisor said, No you’ve never even used us before why would I help you. Which actually is inaccurate. Koons repaired things on our car & did an oil change or two. However a car with 31,000 miles shouldn’t need many services so of course we hadn’t used you for anything else why would we. So here we are the first time we really need assistance after buying a very expensive car from Koons & we are treated this way. We own a business that deals with warranties and manufacturers nonstop. We have to service & warranty units that we did not install. We’ve made exceptions for customers. We always go above & beyond. We have a 5 star rating. Chevy does the same. Nobody even ever offered to try & help us or call GM or anything. As a Cadillac owner I know the lengths that my local dealership has went through for me even though I did not buy the car through them. So I told my husband to ask for the manager & try to get the same level of service that we’ve had with our prior vehicle through Cadillac. While he did that I called Chevy. I spoke with a great advisor & received a case ID & filed my complaint. I got everything taken care of on the phone with somebody that we had not spent a dollar with. That’s customer service.Meanwhile my husband is wasting time debating the level of customer service we deserve with your manager (Dan) after having quite the discussion with your advisor. The advisor was arrogant & unhelpful. The manager wasn’t very helpful either but at least he wasn’t that arrogant & rude. My husband drove the car back to our local dealer who picked up the case & fixed everything & helped us get it covered. Yes the dealership that we did not give the business of a car sale to was the one that ended up helping us so guess who gets our business going forward. Jeff D’Ambrosio that’s who. Koons dealership isn’t even a 1 on the scale, it’s -5. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had from a car dealer or mechanic shop anywhere.

My Chevrolet Metro has 13 inch tires so for street use only. Good gas mileage. Only 3 cylinders, so not a lot of power. Definitely a smaller vehicle, and so I try to stay off the highway. It has 4 door, comfortable seating. Easy to drive in the city and okay first car. Experts recommended the vehicle and this model has good customer ratings but it was a mistake purchase, should have purchased a different vehicle... Replacement parts are expensive though and its not the safest of vehicles if in an accident.

I really love my Trax. Its roomy, but not too big or not too small. The seats are so comfortable and the sound system makes me sit-down dance in that seat! Its also a very dependable vehicle. Ive had it for 2 1/2 years and it hasnt needed any maintenance other than the standard stuff. It still looks and feels brand new! It was love at first sight with this car. I love the lines because they give the vehicle a classy yet sporty look. The hatchback is wonderful when it comes to loading, and since its covered, my stuff is protected from the sun AND the thieves! While Im happy with it, I would like a bigger console storage compartment. Also, the USB plug-in is inside the glovebox, which doesnt work well for someone like me who keeps my phone charging at all times. It doesnt look pretty with that wire sticking out of my dashboard.

I’m a retired senior widow. In August 2019 I gave up my Chrysler in favour of what I thought would be an economical Chevy. I bought a new Spark. I knew within the first week that I didn’t like it. When I stepped on the gas it hesitated. The service manager told me that that is normal for the Spark. Now, January, the car is plugged in. I drive it every second day to go shopping etc. One Monday morning the car wouldn’t start. On the third Roadside Assistance call I had the car towed back to the dealership. They checked everything and told me the battery was dead and I needed a new one. I asked how that was even possible with a new car. They advised me that if I wanted the battery to stay charged I would have to drive it about an hour every second day. I’m retired! I don’t need to drive an hour anywhere! So much for economical. So they didn’t have the required battery. They ordered one from the USA which got sent to Toronto instead of Winnipeg, or so they told me. By day ten they were telling me that they couldn’t track the battery so they really had no idea where it was. Still waiting! To summarize: I would not, nor would I recommend that anyone buy a Chevy Spark. Perhaps not even a Chevy of any kind.

I fell in love with my Chevrolet when I first saw it. I wish that it would speed up when I need it to. I would also like to have a back up camera and I wish I had leather seats or heated seats. Also, it needs to have better brakes and better steering for me and other people driving it. But other than those, I like how compact and cute it is. Its very lovely and eye catching to many people. I also love the color of the car. It suits me very well. I love this car overall.

I have really enjoyed this vehicle and have taken it in many long road trips. It is quite comfortable to ride in for long periods. It has been very dependable. Only needed minor cosmetic repairs and regular maintenance such as new tires, replacing headlights, etc. I like the silver color and that it came with lots of features factory installed like sunroof, XM radio and GPS. I like that it has room for hauling stuff, the back seats fold down and it has a very spacious cargo. Also it gets excellent gas mileage and I just like the overall look of the car. But the backseat doors are very small and do not open wide. It makes cleaning difficult. I also am not able to put a bike rack on the back due to the hatch back. Also I wish the console between the two front seats wasnt there. I never use the cup holder and I have to put my purse in the back seat if I have a passenger.

Have not had a major problem with this truck since I purchased it in 2009. I have a 2009 Chevy Colorado Truck. It runs smooth after 62,000 miles with no tune up. Love the on-star feature... no engine problems, handles very well on the road, feels and sounds like you going 50 miles per hr when you are actually going 70mph even now. Of course I keep the oil change and do regular maintenance on the car. My husband bought this truck new because he wanted something that a female could drive due to its midsize. He died a yr later and I decided to keep the truck and sell my car... Best decision I ever made.

It was overall a great car. It had cruise control, electric windows, nice CD player, huge trunk, very spacious, and rides 5 comfortably and got great gas mileage. The features and price is the reason I chose it over the rest. Plus, the parts for the car was overall cheap to replace. I would and DID tell everyone I know that if they are looking for a new car the Corsica is the one I would get.

Own the Chevy Bolt for less than 6 months. Hatch window shattered for not apparent reason. Turning in an intersection, so no other vehicle passing. I took the car back to Jenner Chevrolet in Victoria, BC thinking this was a faulty window. I was informed they will not replace it even though there is no evidence of impact or damage to the window to warrant the window to shatter. The Jenners repair and parts manager told me the side and back windows are designed to shatter with any impact for safety reasons! He then proceeded to inform me that a small sliver of porcelain dropping on the window could cause it to shatter. He refused to contact Chevrolet to enquire if this will be covered, or report the incident. Told me that would be up to me to report this. So I am assume if this is how Chevy designs their windows to shatter with minimal impact, I dont think I would feel safe placing a toddler in the car in case they decided to tap on the windows and have it shatter in their hand. Initially I was accepting of the poor ride and comfort of the Bolt (poor suspension and uncomfortable seats), but I dont think I would recommend this vehicle to my friends or family. I was initially going to purchase a Nissan Leaf as friends has been pleased with their Leaf and has never had any issue with the Nissan dealership in Victoria, BC.

I purchased the Malibu brand new with 52 miles in March 2016. The first 6 months was good. The gas mileage did not meet what was specified but it wasnt bad. Towards the end of the year my car wouldnt start after stopping at a local grocery store. I had to wait till 2 hours later for it to mysteriously cut back on. Once it did the air was stuck on high and the radio wouldnt come on. Took it the following Monday to the dealership that determined the computer needed a reboot. Everything was fine for a few more months then the car cut off again. This time the dealership could not find anything. The car continued to cut off randomly at times while driving. Each time two different Chevrolet dealerships could not find the problem or cause. I am concerned for my safety as this occurs while driving. This makes me rethink and question the brand Chevrolet.

I own a used 2004 Chevy Tracker. Up to now it’s been reliable. The body doesn’t have a spec of rust and the engine and transmission are still running strong. The issue I have is with the integrity of Chevrolet Motors. Recently while driving on the highway my left front wheel became unresponsive and the front end vibrated violently. My mechanic informed me that the front cross member/subframe had rotted out. After doing some research on the internet I discovered this is a known problem and the warranty was extended to 10 years or 150k mile. When I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service to see if they would still honor the recall they refused because it was past the 10 year warranty. This is disturbing because it is a known and documented SAFETY defect. My realization is that Chevrolet still puts economics ahead of the safety of its drivers & passengers. So if you’re an advocate of Chevrolet please check the internet for any recalls or complaints for your vehicle model on a yearly basis because our safety appears not to be Chevrolet Motor’s priority.

First 2015 Chevrolet Dually Duramax shut down in Sept 2016. Driver fueled up, drove about 20 to 40 miles, trucks fuel filter light came on, truck stopped on interstate. As of 01/09/2017, truck is not fixable and still in shop. Loan company have called to come get it. I cannot fix it and cannot pay for it. This is one of three trucks I have for running freight on flatbeds. My trucks have to run to make payments. Second 2015 Chevrolet Dually Duramax shut down in the exact same manner, right down to fueling and driving a little way, and stopping. Metal shavings found in fuel system. This will put my small trucking business out of business. NOTE Both trucks bought at the same time, from same dealer, and drove off the lot the same day.

Too bad GM killed this car. 2018 is the last year for the 6 speed manual. Not even available in the 2019, and now, GM thought it was a great marketing move to kill all of their cars that normal people can afford. My car has been very reliable, and on a recent Buffalo to Chicago trip, averaged nearly 50 MPG. It also has a great deal of useable power and torque with the manual box. A 1.3 litre turbo 4 is not the slug you might expect. I dont want an SUV or truck of ANY kind. I want a car thats fun to drive and handles well. Thats why GM is getting it back in a week when my lease is up - and isnt leasing me anything else. After leasing me my last 4 cars. Ive replaced it with a 21 year old car in excellent condition, which pays for itself in about a year of not making payments. Now I can buy something really fun instead - another motorcycle!

Being a Chevy family for years I am very disappointed to find out that they hide problems with their vehicles from their customers. They can send out flyers to purchase new car mats or upgrades for cars, yet when a part is bad on their vehicles are bad. On our Trax our pvc valve cover went bad and Chevy had known that on the 2013-2017 Trax, Sonic and Cruise this part had been malfunctioning. It would have been under warranty from my dealership had I know when I was home to take it in.My warranty is not valid anywhere but there. Of course they never told me that either. My family decided to see our son who is in the Army 3.5 hours from our home. Car was not covered. We were stranded for 3 days because the strike caused a lack of parts throughout the country. Dealerships were closed because it was a weekend so we went to a Pep Boys. Chevy acknowledges this is an issue but refuse to reimburse me because I didnt go to a dealership in the town we were stranded in. Which by the way couldnt find the part we needed a Kia dealer had to find it! We will be trading in our Chevys by the end of the year and getting a different brand who believes in customer service not just making a buck!

A complete waste of money for the purchase of this vehicle. I bought this new in August 2013 and every year since I have had it, separately from routine maintenance or normal wear and tear, I have had it in the garage to have some part replaced and whenever I have called General Motors or the dealership it is always the same response, Oh that is not covered under warranty, so basically NOTHING on their vehicle is ACTUALLY covered under warranty. Their bumper to bumper which is only 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever comes first is a JOKE!!They have used poor lousy parts in their vehicles and they are fully aware of it so they sit in their BOARDROOM and put their hands in the air because they just dont care but until they finally OWN up to the problem they have lost my BUSINESS!!! This business acquired a government bailout during the Bush administration and they DO NOTHING to assist their CONSUMERS!! I will never again purchase a Chevrolet/GM vehicle, this car has been nothing but a pain in my pocket!!

I come from a family that prided itself on owning Chevrolet trucks – trucks that ran for 200K+ miles. That came to an end for me today. I own a 2016 Suburban LT thats used as our primary family vehicle. At just over 64K miles, the car started to show signs of a delayed shifting between P, R, and D. It would hesitate and then jump into gear. The vehicle would also shake when on the highway and shifting between gears. The dealer first suggested re-programming the transmission and a fluid flush at a cost of $700, but the symptoms persisted. Upon further investigation by the transmission technician, I was presented with a price of $7,000 to replace the transmission with a remanufactured one.Visibly frustrated, the dealer suggested that I could approach GM about cost sharing of the repair, but only after performing a tear down of the transmission which was another $1,500. The dealer suggested that they needed to tear down the transmission so that they could identify precisely what went wrong and then report back to GM via a software application (not person to person interaction). Also, how convenient for GM and the dealer to have my vehicle taken apart before presenting me with a cost sharing proposal. GM already knows that the transmission needs to be replaced - and after its replaced, the broken transmission is sent back to GM to be remanufactured and sold to another dissatisfied customer whose transmission has failed because of poor mechanical craftsmanship. After several conversations with GMs Sr. Advisor and a Supervisor, which knew very little about transmissions or repairs in general, I was told that they would not consider any cost sharing until the tear down was performed - and it was my full responsibility to pay the $1,500 for tear down. So, before even knowing the full cost of repairing the vehicle, I need to pay $2,200? GM doesnt need the transmission torn down to address my issue. The Sr. Advisor and Supervisor should have had autonomy to escalate and do what’s right – which is be highly empathetic; own the mechanical flaw in craftsmanship; problem solve with me; and tell me that they’ll pay a certain percentage of the total repair cost to replace the transmission with one that’s been remanufactured. But, they didn’t do that; they didn’t stand by their product or their customer commitment. To me, it’s disgusting to see on GM’s website that they pride themselves on ensuring an exceptional ownership experience”. It’s a poor product and terrible company – that’s why they reduced the power train warranty from 100K in 2015 to 60K in 2016 – and have a class action lawsuit against them on the Yukon XL (not sure why Suburban is not on here, but will investigate). Ford may not be any better, but that’s where I’m headed – and that never would have happened had GM stood by their craftsmanship issue and done everything that they could have to satisfy me as a customer.
