Buick is a division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors. Started by automotive pioneer David Dunbar Buick, it was among the first American marques of automobiles, and was the company that established General Motors in 1908.

The 2017 Buick Envision is a compact luxury crossover SUV that offers a blend of comfort, style, and modern features. Here are some key features and considerations for the 2017 Buick Envision:

Engine Options:

The 2017 Buick Envision is available with two engine options: a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine.

The turbocharged engine provides more power and torque, delivering a more spirited driving experience.

Interior Comfort and Quality:

The Envision's interior is well-appointed with high-quality materials, soft-touch surfaces, and comfortable seating for both front and rear passengers.

Available features may include leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Infotainment and Technology:

The Envision comes equipped with Buick's IntelliLink infotainment system, featuring a touchscreen display, smartphone integration, and available navigation.

Optional features include a premium sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and advanced driver assistance technologies.

Cargo Space and Versatility:

The Envision offers a competitive amount of cargo space for its segment, with a split-folding rear seat that allows for flexible cargo configurations.

Ride Comfort and Handling:

The Envision provides a smooth and comfortable ride, making it well-suited for daily commuting and long highway drives.

The suspension is tuned for a balanced ride, and available all-wheel drive enhances traction in various driving conditions.

Safety Features:

Standard safety features on the 2017 Buick Envision may include a rearview camera and rear parking sensors.

Optional safety technologies may include forward collision warning, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.

Fuel Efficiency:

The Envision's fuel efficiency varies depending on the engine choice and driving conditions. The turbocharged engine may offer better performance but could result in slightly lower fuel economy.

Styling and Design:

The Envision's exterior design is characterized by Buick's signature grille, sleek lines, and contemporary styling cues.

Value Proposition:

The 2017 Buick Envision provides a good balance of luxury, features, and pricing, making it a strong contender in the compact luxury SUV segment.

Before purchasing a 2017 Buick Envision, consider your preferences for engine performance, interior features, and overall driving experience. Test-driving the vehicle and comparing it to other options in its segment can help you determine if it aligns with your needs and preferences.

My 2010 LaCrosse check engine light came on; it was covered by warranty. The service repair person said that I have to pay $390.00 to replace the O2 sensor. I asked, “Why do I have to pay? Isn't the sensor covered?” He said no, because it’s the wires corrosion and then he said rodents/rats ate the wires. I didn't know that service repair specializes in rodents. Which lie is it? I don't trust car dealer mechanics. I don't recommend LaCrosses and their phony warranties. A rat ate my wires - yeah right! I’m not satisfied! I called everybody in the corporate branches - no one helped me! I also like to mention that if you’re a tall or big person, don't buy LaCrosse as you'll hit your head and knees. Looks are deceiving. Don't buy cars in Woodbridge, New Jersey on Rt. 1&9. Poor repair service.

I have owned a Buick for over ten years and it has yet to let me down. This is a used car with a few problems from wear and tear. Has always been a well-performing vehicle that has the security and comfort I need with my disabilities. I can get in and out easily, which is a big factor in my choice. Furthermore, It has the durability that I want. It is definitely built to last. The Buick LeSabre is the perfect vehicle for me.

I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne, purchased new and maintained regularly at GM dealership as per the maintenance manual. Last week of December 2012, a grinding noise was heard. My wife took it in to Highland Dealership in Aurora, ON and she was told after a thorough check up that there was nothing to worry about and she could drive it safely. Four days later, I took the car back to the dealership complaining about the same noise. Later on that day, they called me to let me know that the transmission broke down while they were test driving it.Again, the car was maintained regularly as per the maintenance manual at the GM dealership and they had flushed the transmission at 65K. The transmission broke down at 124K. I have never pulled or towed anything with the car. I was surprised, called in to GM Canada customer service to complain and was told by a manager that regular car maintenance at the dealership means nothing and will not elongate the life of the car. What had happened was an expected mechanical failure and is due to bad luck! Sorry, you are on your own and the dealership that repaired my car gave me an excellent deal and I should be happy. I just could not believe my ears and after all the expensive maintenance as recommended by GM at a GM dealership, it does not elongate the life of a car and GM Buick transmission is made to last only 120K?!

I liked my car and I recommend this style. It holds six people very comfortably. It has two door with nice car seats, seatbelt, nice stereo, compact, gas saver and great motor. Buick also has very modern cars in variety of colors. They are always coming out with new styles.

I purchased a brand new 2021 Buick Encore GX AWD just back in February 27th, 2021 with 12 miles on it at signing. As of May 14th, 2021 it has been at the Belleville, IL Cardinal Buick dealership shop due to a check engine light that occurred that day. After 5 days they've yet to call me to tell me what's going on nor how long it will take to fix or replace. I only drove 960 miles and filled the tank twice since I got it. The car upon starting made a rumbly sound shaking the left side of the car violently and the check engine light went on immediately after. Not to mention the car was sounding like a 20 year old car a few weeks prior to that but no light ever went on for that reason. I never even had that car running above 3,000rpm so it's not like I was abusing it.I figure it was just because it's a 3 cylinder. It sounds like a rattling can after starting it. Way too loud for a new car. I noticed there was a bolt missing on the turbo block which when I checked to see if anything liquid was leaking under the hood from the rumble. The shocks and struts are terrible, too. You go over a slight asphalt repair in the road at 10 miles per hour and you're glad you got a seat belt on. Imagine what it's like on the highway. They also sold me one with a flawed paint job with poorly done spot touch ups. There's a huge scratch that looks like some moron scratched it with a key or snow scrapper by the driver-side rear window and a huge notch by the hood like a mechanic dropped a tool on it. Why a mechanic would be under the hood of an unpurchased car with 12 miles on it is something to wonder. Makes me think some previous test driver messed it up and they tried to fix it.I didn't see any of this when I test drove it due to the dealership holding us hostage there for 8 hours with our credit credentials. By the time we actually got to test drive, it was already getting dark. This is a common theme for this dealership I later found out. I asked if they could give me a replacement when I took it in to have it looked at and they said they can't because it's already financed. Translation: "We know we sold you trash, that we tried to mask a previously damaged car as new that we failed to report to carfax or authorities, and we're not taking it back because that admits guilt and we can be legally liable and subject to possible civil or criminal charges punishable by fines or imprisonment". They didn't even give me a loaner car while it's being in their shop.I'm stuck paying $25,000 on this overpriced garbage thanks to the useless Lemon Law of Illinois because it has to break a certain number of times in a 12 month period. New cars shouldn't be failing at all...period. If it breaks early on that means somebody at the factory didn't do something right and there's obviously more problems lying in wait soon due to lack of quality control. I don't want it back. I only made two payments on it and it failed. I don't trust any of their products or dealerships now. Maybe I can sell it to an art museum if I'm stuck with it. "Experience Buick...The Trash of the Future...Today" now showing at the St. Louis Art Museum.

I really enjoyed all of the variety of cars that were available to me. Not only are there different companies of cars but Buick always seemed right. They have many kinds of cars that will fit any different lifestyle. I'm always amazed how many compliments I get on my Buick. It looks so snappy and elegant. I like all of the features like the sunroof and the seat warming because it makes me feel superior. It was really great that I was able to choose what I wanted from the car. I am planning on having a bigish family. I wanted to have enough room in my new car to be able to grow into. And I think that Buick's passenger capacity is just right for me.

My fiancee was driving the vehicle and the left front tire locked up causing her to lose control of the van until it unlocked itself. This has happened several times. We took it to the dealership at least three times trying to get it fixed. They tell us nothing can be done. This appears to be a common issue as I found hundreds of occurrences on the internet of this happening. I would really like to get this fixed before she or the entire family gets into a serious accident.

I love the Encore and the convertible Cascada which is an awesome car but I'm sure its insurance will be really high. It has great handling that's both quiet and smooth. I love the color which is a beautiful chocolate brown and they have very sleek designs and styles, leather seating and are now more stylish instead of the older style bodies. I choose leather interior with heated seats, rear view camera, Sirius XM radio and as always, I absolutely had to have my OnStar. No exceptions!! The seats are extremely comfortable. Being that the ride is quiet, my passengers never have a complaint. Roomy, spacious and plenty of seating for me and the kids.

I purchased a 2011 Buick Lacrosse in 2012, brand new in 2013. It began having electrical issues and as of this date has gone through 5 batteries. There have been numerous issues with computer sensors, air conditioning and overheating engine power. This vehicle has left my wife stranded on 2 occasions and on others it had to be towed to the dealership for repairs. I made Buick corp office aware of this ongoing issues back in 2013 and as of this date they advise that there is nothing they can do. Prior to the warranty expiring it experienced 1 cylinder failure and now after said warranty it's experienced another cylinder failure. It only has 40k miles. This s the worst vehicle I've ever owned. I will never purchase another GM product again. They do not stand behind their products. Buyer beware.

2014 Buick Regal GS - First, the good about the car. It has a really nice ride and the 4 cyl turbo has plenty of power, and I come from owning vehicles with over 400 horsepower (only because I want a vehicle to do what I want it to do when I need it to do it). The Regal is nimble, agile, and comfortable even on long drives. Sound system is ok (underpowered) and I have the premium bose system (actually every option available). The bad… After about 6 months, the dash started squeaking (for lack of a better term) and rattling and I found that the trim ring around the instrument cluster is seemingly just pressed in, therefore the two plastic pieces hit each other at certain vibration thresholds. Also the center console below the radio and controls is pressed in, probably using some kind of sticky tape that is not very sticky, and it squeaks, ANNOYINGLY.The Gracenote audio software seems to take everything available in the usb, sd card, and smartphone audio inventory and initializes it each and every startup because if you play music from say the phone, then get out of the car, say to shop for a few, then get back in, it can't remember where you were at. So many pain in the ** things with the implementation of the interface that I can't believe it was actually released to the public. Seems like it was developed in a vacuum, meaning without any input from people that use media devices. A child could have tested these things. I also added about 150 lbs of batting in different areas of the car (hollow spots). You'd be amazed at what GM calls "soundproofing" or "sound dampening".The Regal, while it looks nice and there are several other nice things I could say about it, such as whoever designed the exterior and spec'd the wheels and tires as well as the ground clearance in the front (so you don't rip off very expensive plastic underneath the car when parking) did a good job, also the steering wheel is a great improvement over the 2013… Anyway, one of my real concerns with quite a few cars is that it is 2015 and we still have vehicles that have chrome in either the WRONG place, or angled poorly and at certain times of the day, practically blind anyone in the front seats. This isn't just for short periods of time, say when the sun is directly overhead, or at exactly 6pm pst in the bay area California, no, this is most of the day. It was so bad I removed mine, shift trim and painted it.Follow up pics for my review showing the "materials" used to dampen sound in the Regal cabin. Just a small example, there are several others. Look at the little accordion style batting used in what is a very large space inside the rear trunk covers.
