Buick Encore maintenance service

Buick is a division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors. Started by automotive pioneer David Dunbar Buick, it was among the first American marques of automobiles, and was the company that established General Motors in 1908.

The 2020 Buick Encore is the smallest of Buick's SUV lineup and it does a respectable job of emulating the pseudo-luxury feel of its big sibs, the Envision and Enclave. The interior is comfortable, spacious, and high tech, with room for up to four adults. It never truly hits the full-luxury levels of comfort expected in its class. Instead, the Encore serves as a bridge between the high-end players in the size bracket that includes the BMW X1 and the Lexus NX and less expensive offerings from the likes of Chevrolet, Honda, and Nissan.

Product Reviews:

I'm absolutely in love with my vehicle’s quality & performance. I've only had one problem due to my ignorance. I live in Northern Manitoba Canada. We experience extreme temperatures and I didn't allow the vehicle to run long enough to warm up. Thus resulting in the power steering hose to fail. I searched around for a garage that would fix it at a fraction of what the dealer would cost. Turns out the dealer had a better price and warranty. Despite new ownership, I received my customer loyalty price. I've replaced my tires and it's like driving a brand new Enclave. I've fell in love all over again. My first ever experience with Buick in all my years and I have nothing but good to say. I highly recommend 2013 Buick Enclave.

Purchased Buick Lacrosse 2010, not thirty days in, the power begins to slow down at 23 to 24 miles. Take to dealers, they charge me 115.00 to tell me it may be my air filter and may need throttle body induction. Now in my mind, you're a Buick dealership and you have no clue of what's wrong. And I'm forced to pay for that information. My check engine light comes on soon as I left, I call back. They tell me they will charge me 150.00 to put a machine under my trunk switch that advance auto uses for free to read me the codes. It is because I'm a woman or dealerships are heading to hell in a hand basket. Signed don't trust ideal Buick.

Lesabre, lacrosse, enclave mine has a V8 which makes it very cheap on gas. Mine's a 1995. If you can afford to get a newer one that'd be my advice, so maybe you won't have the trouble that I've experienced. Their motors are usually good but their transmissions aren't that great. Matter of fact I have to shift mine manually & it can be aggravating & also very dangerous, a good way to get hit in the rear. So if you can buy a newer one. Mine's old, been left sitting out in the weather & the clear coat is very wore, the paint is faded & it's maroon with a red door, due to someone other than me having a accident. It's all electric, power seats & power windows. My advise would be to get the manual windows not power because 2 of mine are stuck up, but at least their up. When it runs it's good, it just tears up a whole lot & it's got plastic parts that can't take the heat, so there's another problem. It's roomy with plenty of passenger capacity & plenty of leg room, not like some of the smaller cars. You can actually stretch your legs out.

I have a 2002 Buick LeSabre and it looks as good today and drives like new despite being 16 years old! It one of the cars that is considered as a "do not die" vehicle!

Why would a company install heated seats and not have a heated steering wheel. In winter, in Canada, a heated steering wheel would be preferable to heated seats. I would like to hear an explanation of why the arrangement is preferable.

I purchased my 2011 Buick Regal CXL Turbo October 2013. There has been multiple issues with this car, ALL electrical. The signals and headlights continues to blow and I had to change my battery twice in 2 years. I really like the idea of purchasing an American made car but this car is going to bankrupt me. I am now dealing with a blown fuse. GM had really failed with this vehicle. I ran into a lady with this make/model vehicle and she is experiencing the same issues. GM really needs to be held responsible for this. I have all of my receipts for service and with this vehicle, something has to be done!

Buick is the only vehicle we trust. I like my Buick Century custom. It's a great family vehicle and very perfect for my family. It has big trunk space great for a stroller or wheelchair. It's very spacious. It has a lot of foot space and arm space. The kids have a decent amount of arm space so you don't have to worry about them hitting each other. It also has child locks on both back doors and it rides smooth. Buick has amazing looks to it with its pearly white paint. It's a comfy ride and my kids love it and so does my husband. The car was given to us for a baby shower gift and we love it. Buick can do anything to this vehicle. They can personalize anything you want from paint jobs to new speakers and radio. From rims, tires, steering wheels and led lights to basically anything. If you ask they will do it.

In November 2016 we decided to own our new car (Buick Encore). Purchasing a new car is not a decision that I made lightly. I entrusted my family life and safety in Buick's hands, only to discover that they did not have my family's best interest in mind. We got older ones before, however this was the one I liked the best. It is a nice car, but with problems. This car has 2000 miles now and is in the shop for 2 weeks already to be fixed. The problem is that the engine overheated on the way home from school. I had my daughter with me which was so scary and unsafe. I got the car in the shop and they said that the cooling oil and the oil are mixing together which should not happen. They said that this will be a easy fix and the car will be good to go again in 2 weeks. 2 weeks have passed and I get a phone call from the shop that said that they need more time because some of the parts did not come yet. He ordered couple of pages of parts and will take more time. I am concerned for my safety and my family safety that this car with a couple of pages of parts being replaced and the engine being taken down... This NEW car will not function as a new car ever again. I wanted a new car for safety and comfort which I lost in the moment that all this happened. My experience with Buick Encore is not even close to comfort and safety and I don't feel safe to even try to take it back home. What I wanted and still want is a new car.

While driving my 2014 Buick LaCrosse to exit from the interstate, I let off the gas to reduce speed and when attempting to pick up speed, car would not accelerate at all but the start button was green. There was no jerking or shaking or any noise from the auto. Turned on my hazards, placed car in park, turned the car off and restarted. The engine light did not come on and car worked as normal. Not sure what happened but wanted to place the incident on record.

We recently bought a 2017 Buick Encore and the first time it reached about 115 degrees my acceleration became nil. I'd press down from a stop light and the car would barely move (1000 miles on it then). Then coming home from work my wife was getting on the freeway, she pushed down, hardly did anything, had to "punch it". When she did it moved, but the AC turned off altogether. We contacted Buick about this problem (acceleration) and they said "put higher octane gas in it, it might solve the problem". REALLY!!! Come to find out after many phone calls that the Turbo in the Buick Encore can't take the higher temps and will hesitate badly when pushing down on the gas. They're "working on it" so they say.I've even spoken with people in Detroit who say the Engineers are working to find a solution. Yet, they are still selling these cars without telling anyone of the consequences. I believe the Engineers and top Exec knew of this problem and just told the dealers to sell them anyway. We will never buy a Buick again. In closing let me say that many don't realize how many days over 100 degrees we have in AZ, NV, CA, TX and a few other states. Last year we had 99 days over 100 degrees. This year is expected to be more and yet even at 100 or 105 this car "acts up". The other thing many don't realize is that here in AZ like many other western states our humidity is only about 5-15% most of the time. That's extremely "Dry" and means that Sun is hotter. We don't have any moisture in the air to speak of. This is very telling on the cars and people. This is why Buick needs to DO SOMETHING NOW!!!
