Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly referred to as BMW, is a German multinational corporate manufacturer of luxury vehicles and motorcycles headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

If the 2021 BMW X2 looks like a chopped-roof version of the X1 SUV, that's because it is—but this little crossover dials in a bit more aggression to the driving dynamics, which earned it an Editors' Choice award. The standard engine is the same 228-hp turbocharged four-cylinder that's in the X1, but the X2's slightly sharper handling makes it more fun to wield on a twisty road. Unlike on the X1, BMW offers the X2 with a 302-hp four-pot, which turns it into a fire-breathing performance machine. The X2's racier bodywork and faster roofline do come with some compromises, though: Interior space is more limited here for both people and cargo. But those crossover shoppers who value performance above all else will find the X2 more desirable than its squarer sibling.

Product Reviews:

BMW keyless engine continues to run when car is locked. BMW have not responded to emails, the local garage booked the car in to see if they could accommodate the mirror folding but said the engine issue was a known issue that BMW have decided not to do anything about. They were also unable to sort the mirror issue out telling me l should have brought another extra which would have made that possible?

I purchased this BMW 330i vehicle used and while I got it for a great deal, I've had issues with it ever since. First, the engine went out then had issues with the car stalling. Not so good luck with the vehicle. It dawned on me that the previous owners probably did not take care of the vehicle which is why it had so many issues. Nevertheless, the car does have good features such as heated seats. I also like how the battery is located in the back. The car is really good in bad weather conditions such as snow and ice. I also like how there is a computerized screen which has various options on it for service and radio. Still, I would definitely fix some of the maintenance features of the vehicle and make it so that any mechanic can fix the issue without needing a code from the BMW dealer. I would also change it or have it so that when there is an electrical failure, there is a way to override using the windows and unlocking and locking the doors. With those main issues fixed I would enjoy the vehicle so much more.

I leased a 2 series as a third car - Just returned with 6k miles. Half way the car went dead - Ok, it happens. But it took 24h and 5 or 6 calls - Yes - For BMW roadside assistance to tow the car to the dealership (And then I had a few issues with the dealership, but minor so won't make this too long). I then proceeded to return it a couple weeks ago. They did an inspection a month before lease return (Just like my Range Rover went through, which showed a lot of charges, but then to my surprise US Bank did not charge any of them as I believe someone actually checked it and saw they were unwarranted - Kudos to them). Anyways, BMW are now charging me the same exact 2k from the "Inspection" even though I changed one tire at the dealership as requested (I deemed that to be right) AND the key that was "Missing" wasn't and was returned - They said the inspection was final, and it is upon me to show all receipts. Plus they are charging me for minor wheel scratches and other things I had never heard of before from Mercedes or Range Rover or anyone else I've dealt with for that matter. BMW never, ever again.

I purchased a 2006 BMW 750li new from Reaves Motorcars of Tampa. I noticed the paint starting falling this year. I took it to the dealer who stated he felt there was a defect in the paint/clear coat. He called BMW to come look at the problem. On the once a month visit from the regional manager, Bill **, I was called by the dealer to drop the car off for his review. When I came to pick the car up the service tech informed me that it was not warranted. I was also informed that he never even looked at the car. I then spoke to the general manager, Kelly **, who gave me the 800 number for BMW customer relations. I called them and explained the problem and they scheduled another time for the same rep, Bill **, to actually look at the problem. I went to the dealer to meet the rep to discuss the problem; he no-showed and let me sit at dealership waiting on him. I called the 800 number and I expressed my frustration about the unprofessional behavior of the rep. When I got home I received a blocked caller ID call from the rep who asked to come look at the problem but never apologized for his no-show. He showed up at my home with an obvious attitude, looked at the car and said it was not warranted. I was very disappointed. I then took the car to a different dealer, Bert **, to get a repair done unrelated to the paint. When completed I asked for a price to have the paint repaired. I received a call from the service tech who stated they thought I should have the BMW rep look at the paint as they felt there was a defect. I asked who the rep was and the answer was Bill **, the same rep from the other dealer. I explained his past evaluation and asked for a price anyway. I called the 800 number again and shared my concern and they said there would be no further action in spite of my request for a different set of eyes. I feel BMW has poor representation and does not want to fix their defect. I would not recommend a BMW. I will get the car repainted and submit a claim in court.

In 2011, I bought a 2010 550i gt with 10k miles from Global Imports and in the span of a year, It had ten service repairs on everything from oil consumption to pumps leaks drivetrain failures. Global trade assisted me out of that vehicle into another 2010 550i gt. Within one year this vehicle was sixteen times in repair shop with ongoing failure of vehicle. I am in negotiation with BMW of North America as they have admitted liability of their failed vehicles but they have a goal to profit from this and 'sell' me another vehicle. I believe that two and a half years of constant repairs subjecting my family to stress, loss of time, loaner vehicles and a incident where we broke down on the busiest Atlanta freeway at high traffic time potentially deadly, is cause for BMW to offer a apology and as they stand by their Brand, they stand by myself the consumer and offer my family a new vehicle comparable to the features of the 550i gt minus the constant failed operations and performances.

I've spent so much money getting this car (2010 BMW 328I) repaired, I should have bought a Kia or something cheaper. 3 belt replacements, radiator replacement, cracked rim, I could go on but I won't. This used to be a reputable brand. Next car will be a Ford or Chevy.

Bad customer service. Gave me defective car. Now they are not ready to take it back. It's my suggestion to every one never buy BMW especially from BMW NEWPORT. Very rude people. Contacted so-many times to sales manager and service but no one is ready to help. This is the worst experience of my life. Spend $52000. Car is giving the problem from day 1. They not even fixing it properly in one and half month. Car been to service station more than 6 times and still have the issue. Please suggest me what to do. I'm very disappointed.

I bought the 2013 528i car a month ago. It's been at the dealer service department for 2 weeks now on and off. 3rd time back there because of the engine light. Haven't driven my car more than it's been in the shop. Contacted BMW North America... Waiting for their response. This is my first BMW so it is very disappointing since they are so expensive.

This is the biggest bait and switch I have ever encountered. Purchased a new BMW 435i convertible. They sold me the "upgraded Bluetooth" so my smartphone would work on the screen and charge through the cradle built inside the console. However, they never told me the iPhone is an incompatible device. Now they won't refund my $500 nor fix the problem. They tell me to plug in the charge cord to the cigarette lighter. How dumb!
