Purchased my car January of 2020. Brought it in several times throughout the next few months for other repairs. Brought it back in January 2021 for a no heat situation. I was made to feel like I was making it up and that I was a "silly woman" because they couldn't find the problem. Made me drive a vehicle that had no heat in -45 degree weather back home on the highway for over an hour. I then proceeded to bring the vehicle back with the car running the next day to show them that the car indeed had no heat.The car was with them for 3 and a 1/2 months and they still could not fix the problem but the heat started to work so I took the car back. Now it's November of 2022 and I had to bring my vehicle back to a different dealership (Royal Oak) for no heat again as I did not want to deal with that dealership (Glendeer Circle) any longer. I was assured that I would not have the same experience that I had at the other dealership and that they would fix the problem. I have had things shipped broken, in wrong boxes etc. I have had promises made, solutions presented and all have been lies. My car has now been there for an additional 3 months and they still cannot fix the problem. Jaguar has now had my car for a total of 6 1/2 months in a 2 year span with no end in sight.I have tried to resolve this with their head office to no avail. They are absolutely horrendous and just want your money. They have basically told me they can keep my vehicle for as long as necessary until the part/problem is fixed. Which could mean months or years who knows. They have no problem keeping my car for an extended period of time. They have however given me a loaner car so at least I have something to drive but I am paying for a car that I do not have, I am losing sleep, having anxiety attacks and missing out on work because I cannot concentrate on anything other than this situation.The people in charge of dealing/rectifying situations cannot be right. I am wondering how this is ok? How can a dealership do this? I understand we have warranty for a reason but at what point is this not ok? I know we in Canada don't have a lemon law here but come on, 6.5 months is beyond my comprehension. I feel trapped, defeated, taken advantage of and exhausted. I need help in sorting this out as this cannot be ok. Please help.

After a car accident with our company car on the 20.6.13, the car was taken by tow truck to our smash repairer at Artarmon in Sydney NSW. The insurance assessor viewed the damage on the 25.6.13. The go ahead was issued by our Insurance company for the repairs. The parts required were ordered by the smash repairer to Jaguar Australia whose order through Trevett's in Sydney were found to be incorrect on arrival. Since then we have had many verbal conversations with customer relations from Jaguar Australia in Brisbane, but we were also told that this was not really their job. Jaguar customer relations in Brisbane do not seem to be able to assess where the fault of the mix up in supply of the parts lies. This problem has now been going on for over 8 weeks. We were advised verbally by the Jaguar customer service representative that the parts catalog in the UK did not line up with the parts number ordered for our vehicle. We have had to hire a car since 23.6.13 as well as having to pay the payments on the damaged company vehicle. This is no reflection on the smash repairer as they have ordered the correct parts as per the part number on the damaged items on our vehicle. The repairer has been chasing this up as much as we have, but to no avail. We have been advised, normally after many phones calls fortnightly to Jaguar customer service in Brisbane that the parts will be delivered and that they will be the right parts, all of this is verbal. We have asked for this to be put in writing but customer service said that was not possible. We are now at the 12th September 2013 and still nothing. We are waiting on a call from Jaguar customer service in Brisbane again after leaving a message this afternoon for an update. It is now 5.15 pm 12.9.13 and no return call from customer service received. This is our 4th Jaguar and if this is Jaguar's service, it will more than likely be the last. Parts for cars sold in Australia should be here in Australia and we should not be at the mercy of this company that deals with that company that deals with the main manufacturer overseas, because it is evident they just don't care either here or there!The history of the parts is as follows from smash repair company: Parts were ordered 1.7.13; seven times were put on back order from England 2.7.13. Parts began to arrive 5.7.13. The near side front Squab was one of these items which arrive 14.8.13 but was for driver's seat. The near side front seat slide (base) arrived 21.8.13 was the wrong type. 12.9.13, still waiting? Jaguar is an excellent vehicle. Jaguar's back up service leaves much to be desired.

So Jaguar USA thinks a seat can wear out under normal circumstances in 2 years and 12,000 miles. Yes, between them and the stealership at Jaguar Palm Beach they'll have you believe that an $80,000 car should self-destruct before the warranty expires. Then again, what good is a warranty they won't honor?

I bought a brand new Jaguar XJ in April 2011, drove 23,000 km, had it serviced in a Jaguar WS in June 2012 in London. Two weeks later, I crossed the Channel with the car to go to my son’s wedding in France, and suffered a breakdown 1 km from the ceremony. The whole event had been seriously spoilt by the need to get proper assistance organized. It could not be a worse day for such an incident, and find it totally unacceptable to suffer such a breakdown with a brand new car of that standing. Then, it is only 17 days later that the car had been brought back to UK, and 24 days later that it was repaired, and given back to me. How is it possible for such a chain of inefficiencies, is occurring with a brand like Jaguar? What is the company prepared to offer to compensate for such unacceptable chain of event? My car registration is **.

I purchased headlight socket for my x type from West Hurr of Getzville, NY. When got home, I called and arranged appointment for their service to install it. Michelle service consultant was very short and sarcastic. Not to mention, the mechanic could not get the light to come on or at least tell me what was wrong. So they took my $112 dollars for an hour for nothing. To install the headlight socket probably 25 minutes, I saw the 18 year old Jaguar mechanic helping the other guy with another car most of the time when they called me back to ask a question. No one offered a discount or anything. A diagnostic should have at least been made for my money. Michelle was very short and sarcastic the cashier didn’t even say have a good day. To sum it up, horrible place to get your car repaired. Not to mention, I took time off work for this low class service center. I believe since they’re the only jaguar dealer in Buffalo, they don’t care. I’m sure their repair sales are very low!

1995 Jaguar XJ - Bought this car in 2005 with 80k miles. I was the 3rd owner. It has the 4.0 liter 6 straight 6 and it's been bulletproof. It's been over 10 years and I have added 50k miles to it and it's been fine. I don't drive in the snow with it or the winter. It has a smooth ride and great pick up for a 4000-lb vehicle with a 240HP 6 banger. I've had to do the typical brakes and tires and battery. I do oil changes regular. A few odd out of the normal repairs I have had to do in 50k miles: 1) One of the headlight washer things on the front fell off. Somehow a small plastic clip that secures it to the bumper broke. Found the part on ebay for $50 2) Power antenna stopped working. Replaced with an aftermarket one and it's been fine3) Electronic control unit failed. The car would not start and it was an $800 repair. But hey, it's about 17 years old at this point and my wife's Toyota had the ECU fail in about 10 years and was $500 to replace. So.. not that much difference between the jag and the ToyotaOne thing I have noticed. I am on my original exhaust as far as I can tell. Maybe not driving it in the winter has saved my exhaust or these stainless ones are built to last. Also, it's now 19 years old and has no creaks, rattles, or odd noises. This car is solid. It leaks no fluids and runs like a top with 130k miles on it.

Hello, I have driven many different brand of cars and Jaguar is by far the worst. I purchased a 2014 in 2015 with only 30k miles. Still had warranty. However the day the 3 year warranty ran out the nightmares begin. I have spent more time at the Jaguar service center more than the enjoyment of the car. Very appealing and luxury to the eye but their engine components are terrible. Plan on repairing a lot of sensoring defaults, tire pressure issues, software issues, a/c issues, I can go on and on. Be prepared for a mediocre experience with their service staff and a lot of money for repairs. Mercedes will forever be the greatest. I’m going back where I belong.

My Xj8 Heritage has less than 60K Km on it. It was bought new, and we have had one problem after another. At 12 months and 10 Km, the battery failed, which was under warranty. At 26 months and 25K Km, the hood lining fell out, which has no warranty. At 4 years and 35K Km, the water pump failed, which also has no warranty. I was told they were a common fault. At 8 years and 50K Km, the thermostat failed, which has no warranty. At 10 years and 65K Km, the fuel pump failed, which has no warranty. I would not buy another Jag. How is this possible for a car with such low kilometers to be serviced regularly?

Purchased my f-pace in January this year (2019) and have been experiencing ongoing (squeaky) braking noise from the rear brakes. I've taken it into the local dealership twice, spent three hours on the first occasion and and full day on the second, despite them re-assuring me that the calipers have been greased and the problem is solved, the noise is still there. Jaguar Complaints had promised to investigate this complaint over a week ago and still no response.

My Jaguar is one of the best cars that I have had. It is a smooth driving car. I haven’t had any issues with my car since I bought it. My favorite part of the car is the air vents rotate. With the air vents rotating, no dust gets in the car.
