2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is a luxury compact SUV that combines Italian design, sporty driving dynamics, and premium features. With its agile handling, powerful engine options, and distinctive style, the Stelvio stands out in a highly competitive segment. For those wanting even more performance, the high-powered Quadrifoglio variant delivers sports-car-like thrills in an SUV body.
Powertrain and Performance
Base Engine: A 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine delivers 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds.
Quadrifoglio Model: For more performance, the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 produces 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, taking the Stelvio from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
Drivetrain: All-wheel drive (AWD) is standard, providing enhanced grip and stability in all driving conditions.
Handling: The Stelvio is known for its sharp handling, thanks to a balanced chassis and adaptive suspension. Its sporty feel makes it one of the most engaging SUVs to drive.
Fuel Economy: The base model offers around 22 MPG city and 28 MPG highway, balancing performance with reasonable efficiency for a luxury SUV.
Interior and Features
High-Quality Cabin: The Stelvio features a blend of leather upholstery, soft-touch materials, and wood or carbon fiber accents, depending on the trim level. The cabin design emphasizes a driver-centric layout with a sporty yet elegant feel.
Technology: Equipped with a 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the Stelvio offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and navigation. The interface is straightforward, though not the most advanced in the segment.
Comfort: Heated front seats and dual-zone climate control are standard, with ventilated seats and heated rear seats available on higher trims.
Cargo Space: Offers a competitive 18.5 cubic feet behind the second row, expandable to 56.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
Exterior Design
Distinctive Italian Styling: The Stelvio carries Alfa Romeo’s signature V Scudetto grille, aggressive front fascia, and sharp body lines. Its sleek silhouette and sporty stance make it stand out among other luxury SUVs.
Quadrifoglio Trim: The Quadrifoglio adds performance-oriented features like quad exhaust tips, carbon fiber accents, and larger 20-inch wheels. It also incorporates aerodynamic enhancements, including an active front splitter for better performance at high speeds.
Safety and Driver Assistance
Advanced Safety Features: The Stelvio comes with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring as standard.
Driver Assistance: Available adaptive cruise control and highway assist offer semi-autonomous driving on highways, contributing to a more relaxing driving experience on long trips.
Driving Experience
Engaging Performance: The Stelvio is praised for its nimble handling and responsive steering, making it feel more like a sports car than an SUV. The adaptive suspension ensures a comfortable ride while maintaining agility.
Quadrifoglio Thrill: The high-performance Quadrifoglio offers one of the most exhilarating driving experiences in the luxury SUV market, with its Race mode, adjustable suspension, and powerful exhaust note providing track-like thrills.
Pricing
Base Model: The 2024 Stelvio starts at approximately $48,000, offering a premium luxury experience with excellent performance.
Quadrifoglio Model: The high-performance Quadrifoglio is priced around $88,000, reflecting its increased power, handling enhancements, and exclusive features.
Conclusion
The 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio combines luxury, performance, and Italian style in a package that’s both practical and thrilling to drive. Its precise handling, attractive design, and powerful engine options make it an appealing choice for drivers who want an engaging driving experience in a luxury SUV. The Quadrifoglio model further elevates this with extreme performance, making it one of the fastest SUVs in its class.

You can trust in !!! The new cars are great....test it..dont hear on vw drivers!Wonderful cars...great stelvio..for familys absolutely nice car.
I bought a new Stelvio Milano Editzione in September 2019.In May 2021 the brake pad warning light illuminated at 8,500 miles.Given the mileage, I assumed it was a fault with the warning light. When I took the car to my nearest dealer I was informed that the rear discs were heavily worn and pitted and that the rear pads had less than 1mm of friction material left. They also confirmed that they wouldnt be covered under the cars 5 year warranty which had been a key consideration in my buying process. The replacement cost was 575.I asked them to clarify why the rear pads and discs were effectively destroyed after only 8,500 miles, while the fronts - which do the bulk of the stopping - were virtually brand new. They were unable to provide an answer. As I needed the car back, I paid the repair bill and kept the displaced discs and pads for the inevitable argument. After contacting Alfa Romeo UK and eventually threatening them with court action, they agreed in writing on the 4th June to cover the replacement cost of the discs and 50% of the pads, amounting to 430.I provided them with my bank details on the 5th June.On the 6th July I had still not received the refund so emailed them again. On the 8th July I received a reply confirming that my refund would be made within 28 days.Perhaps predictably, this didnt happen.I therefore emailed them again on the 6th August which generated a call back to tell me they couldnt find a director to sign off my refund.I spent 50,000 with Alfa Romeo, yet after two months they apparently cant rustle up a 430 refund, as promised in writing???After a further month of getting the runaround but no money, Im now at the point where I feel I have no choice but to recover the monies via the courts.Alfa, I love my Stelvio. It does everything I want. its practical; quick; good in snow; and other than the brakes, has been utterly faultless. However what you laughingly refer as a premium brand customer service, truly stinks. So sad.
The inner door handle fell off and so many other people has discovered the same. What a shame you dont realize your own mistakes . Im done with Alfa Romeo
Bought a brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia less than a year ago.Due to the tracking being out from manufacturer, Ive had to have both front tyres replaced at my own cost and customer services arent in the slightest way interested.Just lost a return customer, goodbye!!!
Their overpriced STELVIO 2019 13k miles let me down twice already for battery related problems. Electrical needed 2 trips to the garage and is still not working. Paint coming off the bumper and fuel van deforming. 1 day waiting and counting for being rescued after another electrical fail. 7 phone calls to an indifferent customer service could not spare me from waiting such a long time .... and that would be a Premium brand ? Alfa Romeo ... all show and no go,
Test drove a Stelvio last week, really great drive. Didnt end up going with it in the end, but still a lovely car
