Never lease a car from Nissan!!! I leased a car from Nissan, made all my payments, had inspection done (car was in excellent condition), I was 10,000 miles under my allowance, and they send me a bill for $420 just because I turned the car in at the end of the lease and didnt get another Nissan!!!! They say there is no way around this fee unless you get another Nissan!!! GREAT way to do business!??? I will NEVER buy or lease a Nissan again! None of this was told to me when I leased the car. I am at a loss for words.... Just wanted to pass this information along so that it doesnt happen to anyone else. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!!

I have tried to open an online account to make lease payment 3 times. Every time, there is some issue. This time they wanted my account number. I dont walk around with my account number, and the letter they sent, has a lease number, which I guess, is not the same. When I called the cust. service number, I was put on hold so long, I finally hung up. In any event, you can bet your life that they would not of given me acct. number over the phone anyway. I like my new car, but being in cust. service myself, I find it laughable that I cannot find good cust. service anywhere. Based on these three call, which took up 3 lunch hours to try and complete, I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER NISSAN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM EITHER... LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE... Typical!!!

I like the computer system that lets you know when it is service time. I also like the alert system, the stereo system, back up camera, systems for telephones, the windshield service, the mobility of the seats, steering volume to be adjusted when needed, the way the seat adjust to help with visibility, the built in coasters for handling drinks, and all the compartments that hold important papers. I also like the way my plan is set up, the mileage that I get, the attitudes for the workers that is provided when servicing the car and the service that they supply. However, I dislike the way the system is set up for more payment when something breaks on the car, having to put more warranty on the car and the warranty that comes with the brand new cars, and the price of the tires. But still, I love the car.

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

I traded in a car at Nissan in July 2011 and purchased a new one. In December 2011, I received two warrants for unpaid parking tickets on the car I traded in July. The tickets were issued in November of this year. Every time I call Melloy Nissan, they will tell me they will take care of it and call me back. No one has returned my calls after numerous messages. The old car is still registered to me and in my name. The license plate was never changed.I have to go to Metro Court, set up a court date with a judge, go back on my court date, show that I dont own the car and hopefully get the tickets dismissed. Until I find the time to go to the courthouse, I could possibly be arrested for unpaid parking warrants. Also, what if someone commits a crime in that car that is still registered to me? I am very concerned.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue brand new on Christmas Eve of 2007. The transmission went out on the car in July of 2010, at 100,000. I was almost hit and killed by an 18-wheeler. Nissan claims the transmission fell apart and after several months, said they would replace it at no cost. In February of 2012, my Rogue began to show the same signs of failure that the first one did and I took it to the dealership once again to have it inspected. Approximately 8 days later, the service department informed me that the transmission would in fact need to be replaced again with only 66,000 miles on it. I phoned Consumer Affairs and they have been no help! I have written Mr. Carlos Ghosn a certified letter and he has been no help! Why won’t Nissan just admit my car is defective and make an attempt to remedy the situation?

Any Nissan dealership that has been in business since 2013 knowingly participated in consumer fraud with corporate guidance. They knowingly sold defective vehicles that put the consumers safety in jeopardy and our court system gave them a slap on the wrist. The class action lawsuit attorneys make bank and the consumers were stuck with the aftermath. At first Nissan claimed that a computer program upgrade would fix the issue and they knew it would not. They string you along stating that they are working on a fix, but it never came while I was under their warranty. They say they have a fix now but they want me to pay for half of it because I am just out of warranty. They never told me about the fix while I was in warranty. The fix is only as good as their word and their word has no value. What are they hiding currently? You will not know until it is too late. The whole lot of them are fraudsters that can not be trusted. Buy a Nissan of any make at your own peril. As Americans we should unite and stand outside of every Nissan dealer in America on as often as possible but especially on Saturdays until they go out of business in America. That is about the only recourse we have for these lawbreakers that our Government is allowing to stay in business in this country. Now you cannot say that you have not been warned.

Bought my 2013 Nissan Sentra Sr used with over 60k car in Dec 2015, long story short my car is suffering from transmission failure, the rpms will shoot up high and drop down low, my car will then start to stall and not want to go any fast than 10 mph!!! No matter how hard you hit the accelerator it will not speed up! I had to pull over before a car could have hit me and once I stopped it would not move at all, not in reverse not in drive nothing! I had to get a tow truck to tow my car back to my house and even then the driver told me that I’m better off buying a new car. I’m so upset, as to I owe 10k on it still and am looking at a 5k bill fixing it! I tried trading in the car to find out my cars value is only 3k!!! I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs office and was told there was nothing that could be done about my transmission problem, they did let me know there was a recall about the seatbelts yet I can’t even use my seatbelt due to my car being a death trap! BEWARE OF NISSAN AND THEIR TRASH CARS!!!

Had my car a year (Altima 2016 used) and it’s out of warranty. When purchasing the car I asked for an extended warranty and the finance manager declined me stating that I was not in a position to receive the extended warranty that I was lucky that I was even approved for the car. I had to beg for GAP and he made me pay for my GAP cash upfront $500. Also when I called my finance company to see if they had additional options they stated that those instruction about extended warranty was not true that they would have went through another company not them. At that point I did not understand why the finance manager had me lie to the finance company about the type of car I was receiving if I would not be covered. Basically I was taken advantage of and it worked on their end because now I am screwed out of a car unless I come up with the funds to fix the issue. Nissan said it’s nothing they can do, You have to buy a $3500 transmission. I do not know much about repair to cars but my car is calling for a sensor and Im not sure why my sensors cannot be replaced vs the entire transmission!Call Consumer Affairs and they had an attitude. Told me there was nothing they could do and hung up on me. I will be taking this to the next level. My voice will be heard and something will be done. I would have never spent my money with them knowing I would have to deal with such poor service and attitude! Please do not put yourself in my situation stay away from Nissans (CVT) they are NO GOOD! Terrible customer service and they will do NOTHING to help you.

I have done business with Nissan Motors for the past 6 years. I recently turned in my Lease for a 2010 Nissan Maxima. After near 45 days, I received a bill for $1600 for excessive wear and tear. I have never seen such a high bill and even when I turned my car to dealership, they mentioned this was one of the cleanest cars they ever got back. When I called Nissan Acceptance, they started saying you should review the contract and should have done a 3rd party inspection before giving the car back. They claim they sent me a letter too... but I never got anything. All I got was phone calls asking me to release another Nissan. I have leased vehicles before and this is the shadiest process. Good luck to Nissan as I will ensure none of my friends will get a Nissan anymore... Awesome customer service... Way to go Nissan...

I have received one statement in the 5 months I have now had the car. I have not received one email, correspondence, or phone call from these people. I was not late in January for a payment and they lied and reported to the credit bureaus that I never made a payment in January when I paid $465 on 1/10/13. And then on 2/1/13, I made another payment which was supposed to be on 1/31/13 and then 2 payments in February as well on 2/23/13. They suck as a car manufacturer and as a lien holder. There was a reason that I had never purchased a car from them after 10 years ago and now I know why. I had leased a car with them for 7 months and got rid of it and now, after 5 months, I am ready to get rid of this car too. The fact is that it is a piece of crap and so is the company. They suck and they need to fix their error on my credit report as because of their screw up, my credit score dropped 40 points and now I will lose the new home I am buying.

My problem with NMAC began in December of 2011. I was behind two payments and I was making agreements with NMAC to satisfy those payments. In the past, I have tried to obtain a copy of my title so that I could register the vehicle where I am currently living. Mrs. ** of collections lied to me and told me that the document was requested and it is on its way but it never arrived. I have called NMAC several times to address this matter and they never assist me. They have threatened me about repossessing the vehicle although I have been making payments and keeping the agreements that I have with them. Currently, my vehicle has been sent out for repossession and an account representative by the name of Mrs. ** has been calling my job although she has been speaking with me daily regarding my car loan as the result of a complaint that I have filed against her. Today, she called and threatened the office manager at my job. She has asked personal information about the office manager and I. Mrs. ** has a personal vendetta against me and she is using her position at Nissan to harass me. My job does not want any more calls from NMAC because of this incident and has advised to me to seek legal action against NMAC and Mrs. ** personally. She has informed my employer that her calls are regarding an unpaid bill which is against the law. Mrs. ** is harassing me and I want it to stop immediately. I would like for my account to be assigned to a different department due to the fact that her and John ** and a few other individuals badger me on the phone and treat me as if I am not a person. I would like to file a complaint against Mrs. ** and her supervisors for allowing this to occur.

Two weeks prior to my lease maturity date, I called Nissan to set up my end-of-lease inspection. After 4 phone calls, I was told they use a third party to inspect the vehicles (easy way to avoid blame). Upon calling the third party to set up the inspection, I was told they could not have a representative in my area (suburban Phoenix) for 17 days, which was 3 days after my lease was up. I continued to call Nissan and was assured I would suffer no penalty payments and there was a 10-day grace period. I turned in my car the day my inspection was completed and it was in great shape aside from one dent the size of a nickel.10 weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for $1,200. $400 in damage from a dent in the front, which I agreed to pay, and also the $395 disposition fee, which I agreed to pay. However, I was also charged $398 for an additional months lease payment and $20 in penalty fees. When I called the Nissan Finance representative, they told me the dealership did not report my car being turned in for another 21 days after I had dropped it off. I strongly suggest not doing any business with this company or any of their affiliates, unless you enjoy scams and lies.

I am so shocked as suddenly at the end of my term of financing with Nissan financing when I called them as a payment of 375.00 had not been taken from my account at christmas. I have had the lease/financing with them for over four years now. Then they suddenly mentioned in passing that I had maybe 7 or 8 NSF FEES on a past due account!! I said that I had never heard of this before and if so why had someone not/never contacted me by phone, email or letter to inform me of this. I have had no knowledge of this. Why did they not contact me prior. This is not reflected in my bank statements or monthly online statements. If it is a bank error I still require some proof or a letter or statement from them they will not give it. I have always received my mail from them before!! Now all I get is calls and threats form them BUT as I have asked repeatedly for a statement of bill or something on paper regards this. They say they sent it. I have received nothing and how can I pay fees. I have never been informed of fees, not missed payments. I have no missed payment except for the one they did not take out at christmas. I have written them and sent an express mail to them requesting the letter and Proof. I mean they could make up anything they want. I am really feeling pressured to pay as they mentioned they can come after my vehicle but I am not sure how to proceed. Can you please please advise me on this matter.

The Nissan was a smooth ride and engine was quiet but there were other problems that made the car very weak although the price was very good. Had so many problems that I traded in car for another and service was not that great with replacement parts needed often and the same problem kept occurring which made me question whether car make was viable. There were many problems with fuel pump that had to be replaced several times and gas tank was very small so had to fill up frequently and originally car just stalled in the middle of the road when driving due to malfunctioned fuel pump which was very dangerous.

We purchased a new NV200 within took weeks to have the shelves installed. Then the wrong shelves were installed. There was no roof racks, no sticker. Had to go back to have sticker put on. When I purchased it had 5 miles, picked up it had 137. It has been back in the shop 2 times for multiple days, even weeks for a repair that we are told they have no idea how to fix. I have been trying to contact Nissan Consumer Affairs. Left over 7 messages, only one return call while I was at a DR. so could not answer. Overall experience of buying car was ok. When we were checking out the new car, I noticed dust in the engine compartment and requested that they wipe it clean. The salesman promised that they will take care of this during the detailing process. I did not check when I took the possession and later found out that it was never done. I emailed him with no response, meanwhile he keeps sending me emails about giving them a positive review. They gave me one wrong key for the car. I am trying to contact them to fix the key issue, NO response back from the dealer for over a week. Still waiting. Opened a case with Nissan Customer Service. Took them over 10 days to respond to say that they cannot do anything about this. Only thing I can do is take it to the dealership to evaluate the issue. Dealership is 100 miles away and no reimbursement of travel expenses.

We currently have a lease that we have been trying to buyout for a week. I
We currently have a lease that we have been trying to buyout for a week. I originally got a payoff figure online which was good through 11/7/2011, had even called Nissan Finance and got the same figure with the same good through date. Unfortunately, you can not pay them off directly and they require you to go through the dealership. We have been trying to deal with Napoli Nissan of Milford. Originally, my husband called over a week ago asking for a payoff figure and they told him to come in, but dont come in on Saturday because its busy. Who says that. The Saturday they are referring to was last week 10/29. So, my husband calls in the beginning of the week, basically playing phone tag, leaving messages and not getting returned phone calls. I finally went there on Tuesday to try to get the information. So of course, they wanted to try to get me into a new lease and I told them I would entertain the idea but I need both figures. A final buyout figure and what the monthly payment would be for a new lease. By the time I left there, I left without either of the figures and got, I am going to have to deal with Nissan, its going to take me some time to get the numbers for you. Really, because Im sure if I said yes, they would have had the numbers right then and there. So when I left there, I thought about it and called literally within 5 minutes after leaving and asked for the payoff figure again. No return call. The next day, Wednesday, my husband called and we were given the run around, the woman that crunches the numbers is not here today. The next day, I email and call, get a return phone call with another run around, The manager is not in and needs to do the numbers. Well, if I wanted to buy a new car that day I guess I couldnt. Highly unlikely. Now, today, Friday I called again and got a return phone call. However, the new base payout figure is completely different than what I originally got from Nissan Finance. The reason being is the automated line that the dealership calls has already rolled over to a good through date of December 7. The payout figure I was supplied with was good through November 7. I told the salesperson this and they gave me the automated number to call and sure enough it rolled over to December. So, I called back, spoke with a representative and asked that they fax over to the dealership the payoff figure that is good through November 7. They indicated that they could do that but they needed my husband to call because he is on the account and I am not. Okay, so we do that and when my husband calls, they told him that they cant put it back to 11/7. Thats just odd to me, since that date hasnt even come and gone yet. Arent they a financial institution?

I bought this 2015 Nissan Altima Feb. 27th, 2015. It had defects on exterior, signal lamp loose, dashboard bad. 2 weeks later the sway bar fell from underneath. I duct taped it up. Called Reidsville Nissan. Corrected. Now after 1700 miles and 3 months later the radiator went out. New one installed by Nissan store. They drove it and called me. Said it needed a new motor. Really, after 1700 miles. Called consumer affairs and after 2 weeks they said Nissan would not buy back or substitute for collateral. Very unhappy with this decision and have had an account with Nissan 4 years. I feel as if a substitute for collateral would have been good. Now I will be trying to trade for a car. I do feel safe in today. Today I go pick up my new motor Nissan and not happy at all.

I recently brought my vehicle in to be serviced due to some noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. After looking at the vehicle I am told that the rear end pinion bearings have gone bad, and that the pinion seal is also leaking and is described as a nonreplaceable part - as such, the rear end assembly needs to be replaced for a cost of close to $4000. Note, I do not have a trailer hitch, and do not tow anything. This seems like a very extreme repair for a truck with mileage in the 80k range - and would seem to be a reflection of the poor quality and craftsmanship when it was built. Ive regularly taken this vehicle to the same dealer service department for previous repairs, oil changes, etc.- there were no previous signs or indications that this would be an issue.

My brand new car (Nissan Sunny XL petrol), right after the second free service, the car started having problem like heating up of the engine and frequent shutdowns. When checked with the service center, it assured me nothing was wrong with the vehicle and in a perfect condition. I, with my little daughter, drove the car to our relatives next day. On the way, it broke down again while passing a dangerous valley. It stopped more than 20 times during the travel of 200km. When I contacted the service station in charge, he said that he cannot do anything. When asked what should be done next, his answer was, HE DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING.I then called Nissan Call Center. With much effort and persuasion, they connected me to the local technician who, after inspection, declared that the problem occurred because of the FAULTY FUEL PUMP and DUPLICATE COOLANT, which the service center used. More than 15 days has passed and in spite of sending a number of mails, no action has been taken until date.

I bought a Nissan Altima for them in 2014 and financed through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. All was great with the car until I was involved in a bad wreck injuring my wife. Talked to Nissan several time over next couple months getting total loss taking care of. Insurance paid all but 5,100.00 and some change. I was told from multiple people within customer service in total loss that as long as I made a payment, this would not be negatively reflected on an account. I made payments that were more than my required payment amount. Then the real fun began. I made a 5,127.44 payment in the form of a check and mailed in, happy it was going to be done. Waited a week, checked account and it was still not listed. Check another week later and still nothing. So I called, they said the check was damaged and could not be processed and mailed the check back. This whole time I stayed in communications with Nissan. I told them once I received the large check back, I would send another check for total payoff. I was advised by another customer service member in total loss department that as long as payments were no further than thirty days apart, I was good. Well they LIED. I was sent to collections department within Nissan and told it will be listed on my credit as a charge-off. I did just received the check damaged yes, but was damaged when opened at Nissan. They opened the envelope long was tearing the account numbers off, then sent the check to me in two pieces so I will make a full payment to be DONE with Nissan but this car was 2014 with 8,500 miles when totaled and was just waiting for this to be cleared to by a 2015, NOT ANY MORE. Nissan will never get the chance to sell finance or even talk to me about one EVER..... And as a veteran, I will post this on all my veterans pages that I am on. I do not recommend Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation to ANYONE.

So I just bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue. I gave it its first bath. I went to flip the wipers up and lo and behold when I did so the wiper hits the hood! I opened hood to see if that was somehow the problem. It was to no avail. So now every time I clean or scrape snow from the windshield and want to lock them upright, I cant. Not without turning on my car, turning it off and hitting the wiper stick twice... I guess, I read this in a forum. I have yet to see if it works and even so quite annoying. Also difficult to do when its locked up in ice and snow. So beware snow dwelling Rouge owners!

2014 Altima SL V6 - New transmission at 11k still has issues. They will tell you they dont have a problem with transmissions but mine shutters at 20-30 and 57-70, very disappointed in Nissan! Offered to let CEO wife drive it for a week or even a engineer or their vendor who makes transmission! 22k and its a lemon! Also own a 2015 Pathfinder! 1k miles transmission shudders. Now 8k miles and will be trading it in on another brand. 2012 Nissan Altima, purchased new, runs like a new one! 100k miles. 1999 Nissan Altima 96k miles runs great! So if you can see, they have a transmission problem and are only replacing if it sets off a code! So the shudder is a normal feature they should advertise in their commercials. Stay away from brand until they get issues fixed! Im done with Nissan.

Purchased my first new vehicle, Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 Crew Cab. So far I have had 3 problems, Nissan has only covered one. I feel like instead of driving around in a new truck, I am driving a big, junk box now. Thanks so much for that feeling! No hole drilled for air conditioner drain. Water leaked all over the interior and blew out of every vent. Nissan fixed this. The paint on the rear wheel wells is literally falling off after 5,000 miles. After several frustrating attempts Nissan refuses to fix this, claiming it is environmental. The dealer even told me this is a design flaw that Nissan is not owning up to. The rear sonar now no longer works @ 8,000 miles. Nissan has basically told me No several times to the paint, claiming its environmental. I live on a normal street, happened at 5000 miles, none of the other cars on my street have this issue! I am at the end of my wits. I feel like not only do I not have a new car, but that Nissan stole $28,000.00 for me. If money were not an issue, Id dump this vehicle for a Chevy ASAP.

Bad experience with Altima 2013. I was out of manufacture warranty when first radiator started to leak and needs the replacement - It was a rusted hole in the part!! Next - transmission failed - pieces of metal found in the transmission! When I looked up on the internet I realized that I purchased the lemon. Reviews are stating “Avoid like a plague” Nissan Altima 2013, 2014, 2015 due to the transmission problem. On my request Nissan used a good reason not to satisfy my claim to replace the car or to pay for repair as I am out of manufacture warranty. People talking like robots polite and monotonous. Nobody wants to take responsibility. This is my 2nd Nissan, First I owned for 20 years. Will not go with Nissan anymore.

Over paid, harassed 8-10 times daily - You will be receiving my documents regarding payments on my NMAC, more than 10 payments. Oh but I kept getting calls that I was past due from indos. I’m ** pissed. I tried telling them, no one wants to listen. Well now I’m taking action, little they see the crap that finance companies can get away with. Oversight on NMAC on May 1 or 2, this total is not acceptable, reviewed prior contracts, all over paid. Recently, there were 179 complaints, same as mine. Be on the watch, facts about Nissan Blank. I’m pissed.

I made 32 phone calls (documented), 2 faxes to car dealer, certified letter – NO RESPONSES. All I wanted was to make my first payment before it was late! I HAD a credit score of over 750 and in 2 months NMAC (Nissan finance) RUINED my credit – now its 620! I spent over 5 weeks just trying to get the mailing address to make my payment. I called 3 different published phone numbers for NMAC and they didnt have my account registered! I didnt exist – no account number to put my $$$ towards! Next thing I know – REPO! Even before repo I had my atty involved and they even ignored her calls! Finally, after the Repo, the repo company was obligated by law to give me the phone number to contact. I had a 3-way phone call with Nissan and my lawyer on the line. I explained everything and said I would be willing to pay the entire amount, even plus 1 month in exchange for them faxing my attorney, admitting that NMAC made an error and I was never late on my payments. Thats all I asked for! I was willing to let them get away with doing this to me, but they refused to admit fault. I told them Id see them in court then. My atty was even surprised at how they treated me and said she never had a company REFUSE $$$.

3 weeks ago I went to get my car check at my mechanic place. Everything was fine.. Week later as I was driving my transmission broke and I did drop off at my local Nissan dealership. Next day I got the phone call from Nissan - my transmission is done but Im lucky was still under warranty which was extended by Nissan because of a lot of cases of broken transmissions. Dealership said I will be free of charge (that was Friday). I had to wait 4 days for loaner car because Nissan needed to send approval - got it. Tuesday I receive phone call my subframe is broken and axle rubber is no good so they wont charge me for labor and axle, just for subframe 1100$. When I start to question them how come something is broken now when day before only transmission was for change and everything else was fine besides transmission on top of my check up week before, they started to be rude and give me wrong info every hour. End of story for now is they put everything back with new transmission but not axle anymore and frame - my point is I know its hard to prove if frame is broken or not before you take transmission but I did check up and everything was fine so all I want is meet half way so keep your fingers crossed. Definitely wont purchase NISSAN again and customer service is horrible. I know I can write whatever I want. They dont care anyway but I want people to know and be another one to show how bad they are.

I bought my 2000 Nissan Maxima new and just after the three-year mark and at about 27,000 miles I got an SES light. I took it to the dealer and they told me all 6 ignition coils needed to be replaced. I was in shock. How can all 6 be bad on a car with only 27,000 miles. I asked if there was a recall or if the parts were defective. All they said was to call Corporate Nissan! When I did I got blown off. They said since my car was past the warranty period they were not responsible for anything. I was out of luck. I said maybe they could make an exception because this was not something that normally happens. They would not budge. I was stuck and what made me really angry was that these parts had to be ordered through the dealer and they were on back order. I tried AutoZone and online but no luck. The parts took about 5 weeks to come in since there was a shortage of these parts. This was very common for this year and model car. I had to rent a car for this period and ended up spending a total of $1600 including the rental car. This was a nightmare I will never forget. A very good example of very poor customer service. Leave your customer stuck and say we cant do anything for because we do not have to. Excellent way to make your customer say I will never buy another Nissan product again. I actually had to call the customer rep because she did not return my call. I left her a message saying thanks for nothing and calling me back like you said you would. It was not her fault but she could have returned my car with courtesy and respect even though there was nothing Nissan would do for me. I really felt that there should have been a recall but they took the cheap way out. Better to lose a few customers than to shell out bucks to help customers with a manufacturer defect. The sad part is that after all that I went through, I still have this car today. It has 172,600 miles and is still running good. Still will not buy another Nissan because of this bad experience. I had to replace 3 O2 sensors, MAF sensor, radiator, alternator, starter, thermostat, front axle, dimmer switch, front struts.

I turned in a 3 year leased 2015 Nissan and purchased a 2017 Nissan Altima
I turned in a 3 year leased 2015 Nissan and purchased a 2017 Nissan Altima on November 30, 2017. I only had one car in my possession. My automatic payment from my bank did not get stopped in time for two payments which both went to the leased car, which I had turned in. When I found out what happened in January (when I would normally make my first car payment on a new car) I went straight to the dealership and we both called numerous times about the over-payment. On January 22, 2018 I decided to make a second payment to protect my good credit. All they had to do was to transfer my funds to the new car. They said they would but they did not. I had an executive lease on the car (I highly recommend this) so I did not owe anything for any damage to the lease. I received a letter from Nissan Motor Acceptance telling me not to make a payment in February (because they were holding $1047) so I did not make Februarys payment, In March I made my regular payment for the new 2017 Nissan and realized they never transferred the funds to the right car in February! So, on March 7th I made two more car payments, again to protect my good credit (did I mention I received a letter that threatened to take back the car during this fiasco?). So, I paid March on time and did not pay Februarys payment because they said they would transfer the funds, but they did not. Late in March I received a check for over all the money they owed me. That was three months of my wasted time and after all that, they still ruined my I credit saying I was 30 days late in February and 60 days late in March!! Worst of all I contacted the 3 credit bureaus with the letter from Nissan saying not to pay in February and the check for over $1047 with an apology letter in March, but Nissan is refusing to allow my credit to be restored!! Ive lost out on a 0 interest credit card and have been denied credit due to this and my credit score has dropped from 733 to 705. It is now ten months later and I am still working on repairing the damage they have done!!

I came in to speak with someone about the paint peeling off my car. My car is a 2003 Nissan Sentra. I was told my complaint was denied due to it being 7 years old. Roof and trunk are peeling off. Car is well maintained, waxed 2 times a year. I feel that Nissan should at least fix this problem. This is my first new car, and I am disgusted with the way it know looks. Next day they say they cant reproduce the issue. Went back again and went on a test drive. Next day again they say they cant find the issue.I went back and this time another mechanic went on a drive with me and brought the computer to record data. He said that the car will need to stay there. This was already a week in the shop and they did not provide a loaner.Extremely poor customer service. The service advisors are a bunch of liars. They dont even call me back with a status update. I had to call them multiple times to find out. They changed their statement 3 times about me getting a loaner. 2 weeks in now and I am still without a car. Stay away from this dealership and stay away from Nissan. While driving down the highway, a tire started to deflate. I called the dealership and let them know it was deflating for unknown reasons and they said even though I hadnt purchased the tire warranty that they would patch it and I would have no issues. So I brought it in and with one look they said they wouldnt patch it and I had to buy a replacement because it showed wear on the sidewall. Which it didnt have wear, the dirt was just not as noticeable after being almost flat for an eighth of a mile until I could pull off the highway to put the donut on. It cost me $290, as the rest of the vehicle is under warranty I didnt want to risk any interference of that by having 3rd party work done on it. But even under manufacturers standards it is covered since the tread wear is 1/32 off of brand new and there was only 8000 miles on the car. Their consumer affairs dept. called me back and basically said since I didnt pay extra for a warranty on the tires of the brand new vehicle that there was nothing they would do. But yet the tire they put on to replace automatically had a warranty. Am I the only one baffled by this logic? I will never buy another Nissan ever. They are rude and condescending and awful at listening and helping the people paying for their salary.

I have been very disappointed with Nissan and Bob Richards Nissan. My airbag light came on (not flashing). I was told that I had a sensor in the seat of the passenger that had gone bad. I was told that you could not replace the sensor only, but that you had to replace the whole seat to the tune of $4,300. My car doesnt even have electronic adjustments on the seat. After much discussion with Bob Richards Nissan and North Augusta, South Carolina and with consumer affairs for Nissan, I was told that I was out of warranty and that my extended warranty did not cover this. I am shocked that Nissan would not stand behind a safety feature on my car.I was told that my car had 90,000 miles on it, actually it has 99,090 miles on it and it was out of manufacture warranty. When I pick the car up I brought to their attention that my airbag light was not on anymore. I asked them did they disconnect something to cause the lights to go off and they said no that they could not do that. I told them that my light was not on anymore. One of the service guys said to the other one cant we just turn it back on. The other service guy said no we cannot do that. The technician who has been working on the car had reset the light and now it is off. I have driven about 60 miles and so far the light has not came back on. So, do I have a problem or not? What if I had given them $4,300 and did not even need to be fixed. The service guy wrote on my paperwork that he knew that the light has gone off and that the repairs still needed to be done. Well does it? I am very disappointed that Nissan or Bob Richards Nissan would not stand behind the safety feature on my car. I asked the service guy how many times something had to go bad on cars in order to have a recall on a feature, especially a safety feature. He said he did not know. I will never buy a Nissan again. I drove a Toyota Camry prior to this car and it had two hundred and eighty nine thousand miles on it in order to have a recall on a feature, especially a safety feature. He said he did not know. I will never buy Nissan again. I drove a Toyota Camry prior to this car and it had 289000 miles on it when I gave it to someone else and it is still on the road today. Next time I will buy Toyota, but not from Bob Richards Toyota. Again, I am disappointed and disgusted that a seat would cost $4,300.

Over the past 12 years, I have purchased 6 Nissan vehicles, with the last being in May of this year. In all those years, I have never been late on a payment and have sometimes paid my loans off early. Unfortunately, I filed for bankruptcy two years ago, which was granted. The only thing I kept from that was my Nissan vehicle. In May of 2012, I traded my 2006 Pathfinder for a 2012 Rogue and received financing at 1.9% from the dealership in California where I had purchased several other cars. Since then, I have retired from law enforcement and moved my family to Bowling Green, KY. On 11/07/12, we went to the local dealership to look at the new Nissan Pathfinders. At that time, while investigating trading in our recent purchase for a new Pathfinder, I was told NMAC wouldn’t give me a reasonable interest rate again since I was lucky to get the one in May because of my bankruptcy. Having been a loyal customer and having spent the money I have with your corporation, I felt pretty cheap having been treated that way. If Nissan feels like they were doing me a favor for buying their vehicle, I will have to go somewhere else to purchase my next one.

My husband and I purchased a brand new 2014 Murano... a car we loved! It drives beautifully. Sadly, weve run into two separate issues multiple times. First, the drivers side visor breaks constantly!!!! We dont use it often but have replaced it several times. At first they were covered by our warranty, but now they want $185 for a new one. What???? And you cant find a used drivers side visor for anything. Not a single one at a junk yard (although the passenger side visors ARE available.)Then, our ac went out three times while under warranty (we live in AZ so no ac is brutal)! We had the compressor replaced three times. The third time we had a service agent say he would try to get us a brand new one (compressor). What the heck were they putting in before???? Also, my friend got a Murano. She had the exact same problem multiple times! A $40k car should NOT have these defects. (AND, while our Murano was in to have the compressor replaced, there were two times the dealership kept our car for multiple days without updating us on the status of the repairs.)Thank goodness we were still under warranty. Now our warranty has expired and Im afraid well run into the compressor issue again. I will be furious if that happens! We cant afford such expensive repairs, especially since the car has only had about 10-12k miles a year put on it. Well below average. As much as I love the look and feel of Nissan vehicles, we wont be buying another one. I have a Chevy that hasnt had any problems at all and its a 2015. Even our 2005 Dodge Ram has been amazing. Very few service needs other than the basics such as oil and filter maintenance, tire rotation, etc. I can count on one hand the number of times Ive written a negative review, but this situation warrants it.

DONT BUY NISSAN SENTRA - I say sentra because thats what I own. Purchased a 2013 sentra and the car haven been back to the dealer more than I have been to the doctor during the same period. Too many problems. As of Aug 16th 2016 less than 34,000K miles: Oil leak steering rack, CVT slips and poor acceleration, Brake noise, Shock replaced below 20k miles, Air bag light - countless, Dead battery - replaced 3 times in 3 years - I tired of telling dealer its not the battery. Stupid! Smelly AC - Like dead animal, Rear bumper color changed... parked in garage all the time... sun isnt a factor. Work from home. DONT BUY.On the issue of dead battery... well I went to two funerals out of the country in July and Sept 2014. Gone for 3-4 days each time. Arrive well guess what? Car didnt start.. In October of the same year went on a cruise Friday got back Monday... wont start. August 12th 2016 went to get an oil change. Got out of the car at the dealer, give the key to the guy at the desk. Ten minutes later he walks inside... Sir do you have a set of keys on you? NO...I just give it to you I repiled. Rep. replied.. The car wont start.Okay... they jumped it... which it started. Did battery test etc... said all is good. Saturday morning it started... just wanted to check. Wife and I decided to go for dinner selected a place... one hour drive away from home. Not just for the food okay - for the drive and spend time together. Well after we got dressed around 6pm ready to go... car wont start. Ok I got a jump and off we go. After 11pm we decide to head home, got to the parking lot car wont start. Finally close to midnight someone give us a jump.. it started and we left for home. Got home without any issues.Next morning 9am sunday... well not even a jump could help it... it was DEAD but I must say it was trying to turn over but it couldnt get there. Lights started flashing, beeping etc... like Christmas. Finally after trying well there wasnt any juice left. I GIVE UP... THERE GOES MY SUNDAY. Called Nissan Monday morning. Customer service said they wont get it towed. I had to pay out of my pocket... that did it. I let loose on the rep. but after apologized to her not her fault... but I was pissed. I told her let a manger called me. They said 24hrs. So 2 days wait... now I used my AAA and towed the vehicle. Battery changed again. Car is running for now. Today I missed the mgr call. BUYER BEWARE!!! DEALER IS SELLING BAD WARRANTIES! Loopholes in warranty fine print allows warranty company to deny claims on covered parts and Nissan to further profit off of mechanical failures. I took my Pathfinder in for warranty work on my covered transmission. They claim the warranty was denied and said it would be $5000 to repair. Little did I know that their warranties are through a shady warranty company that no legitimate business would partner with. In addition the 2000-2012 Nissan Pathfinder is known for radiator failure that contaminates transmissions, causing transmission failure. There have been numerous class action lawsuits against Nissan, but no recalls were ever issued. #NEVERNISSAN

I purchased a Nissan Xterra from Team Nissan of Marietta, Ga on 11/10/2011. The sales officer gave me prices of the available models. He misled me in prices several times on phone that resulted in early sales of my Xterra in possession and prompted me to buy on emergency basis. Apart from this, he gave me misleading information and avoid disclosure responsibility as he mentioned that only shortcoming in the vehicle. I was buying Nissan Xterra S model against X model, that one has alloy wheel, automatic outside mirrors and hard wood in trunk. And the one I was buying had missing these 3 features. Plus I would save $2000.I purchased the vehicle and I found out the next day while I was driving to the church with my wife that it did not have the main necessity like inside lights on drivers side, and the mirror on the passengers side. We are senior citizens, I dropped my hearing aid one time and denture on another time, and tried to turn on the light to find and there was no light. I had to pull on side to find them. I complained the next day and they did not entertain me and said the sale has already been reported to Nissans main office.I complained but Nissan North America did not respond. I also participated several times in surveys and as of this date they have not responded yet. I am experiencing hardship which will continue till I own this vehicle. Now finally I am trying to complain to watch dog agencies, BBB and good governance and fair trade, and still if Nissan would not address this, I would report through media.

Stay away from Nissan. We purchased our certified pre-owned vehicle 8 months ago with 6,000 miles on it, and have had the check engine light come on 6 times. Each time, the Mass Air Flow Sensor being the error code. The dealership fixes it, but yet it keeps becoming a problem. The last time the check engine light came on, it stalled on the highway, nearly having us smashed by a tractor trailer. Yet, the dealership and Nissan continue to give us the run-around and refuse to cancel our loan, or provide us with a reasonable remedy, even after a formal complaint was filed. I purchased a second Nissan vehicle from National Motors on 12/17/2013. I had to trade in my previous 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe because the car would not start. I changed the battery and received three jump starts and the vehicle would not turn on. I found out later that the Nissan Manufacturer was aware of a steering lock issue and did not recall the vehicle or notify customers of the vehicle that this issue would occur. The same date I purchased the second vehicle from National Motors, I noticed my locks did not work. The driver side door unlocked from the outside using the key, but the other three doors would not respond to the key, only making the locking noise. I contacted Dwight, a car sales man and was told my locks would be fixed once the locks were ordered. They would fix my tail light and the locks because the tail light also had an issue. In January, Dwight advised that the locks were on back order but should arrive within another two weeks after the call. I called the dealership every week for a status update on the locks and continued to get the run around. Dwight stated someone from the dealership would call me in regards to the locks on 2/13/14 after stating he was no longer dealing with this anymore. No one called. Last week, 2/18-2/20 I was advised by Dwight that the owner of the dealership, Brian, decided to no longer fix my locks. Dwight stated that the locks were ordered and Brian returned the locks to the warehouse stating that he was no longer going to repair the doors. My father contacted the dealership on 2/21/14 and John advised that I go to my local Best Buy to get a remote sensor. On 2/22/14 I was told by a Best Buy Installer that the sensor would not fix the locks because there is something wrong with the car. Since the key opens one of the doors, the installer stated that the remote sensor is not the issue. There is something wrong with the doors. John ** then stated to me and the installer of Best Buy that the dealership was made aware of the issues with the door prior to my purchase and still decided to sell the car to me. There is no information on the website stating the door is defective nor is it reflected in the contract or discounted from the price of the car. This same day, the Best Buy installer contacted John and told him that the locks would not be fixed by Best Buy. John told me to come to the dealership to trade the car because they would not fix the locks. Unfortunately, throughout this ordeal and the back and forth between me and the dealership, my finance company has not received the first payment which was due on 2/11/14. I was afraid of making the payment because I was not sure if I would be able to keep the car or not. The locks not working is a safety issue and deceptive for the dealer to even think to allow a consumer to purchase the vehicle at full price without advising of the issues with the car. The date of 2/22/14, the owner Brian would not allow me to test drive a vehicle until a sales man had his appointment. I waited two hours for the sales rep even though his appointment didnt come in until two hours after I had already waited. The owner Brian continued to laugh and eat his food in the back as if I was not waiting to test drive a car. During this instance, I was still not offered any accommodations for my situation. This situation has caused me a lot of time, energy, and credit. I have contacted Nissan through the Better Business Bureau and they refuse to help me, even though this issue has occurred with thousands of Nissan customers. I will continue to voice my experience until someone fixes my locks, refunds my deposit, or trades this vehicle. This experience is a reason I will NEVER buy from Nissan again nor will I ever buy a car from this dealership. Nissan should offer extended warranty for situations that are beyond the customers control. Based on their response that I do not qualify for the issue to be resolved through them because the car is a 2009 is absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER deal with Nissan again!

First, I would like to inform you that I have purchased 8 Nissan over the last 20 years. I recently traded in my leased Nissan and was advised that any charges would be waived. I received a bill for $181.16. I completed a form with my new car information and mailed it back to NMAC. Now I have another bill which is advising me that you are sending my account to a collection agency. The letter I received clearly states the hours of operation for questions is 7AM-6PM. However, when I call the hours on the recording, it says 8AM-6PM. My account number is **. If you send my account to a collection agency, I will never buy another Nissan as long as I live - either will any of my family members.

Purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima two months ago and had 85,000 miles on it when the CVT transmission went out. In hindsight if we had read more reviews we would not have purchased this vehicle due to the number of complaints about the transmission in this model! Only advanced warning we had was that the car seemed to shake and vibrate at lower RPMs and engine would race causing the tachometer to rev at higher speeds. This started about 75 to 100 miles prior to the car losing acceleration. Went from driving with the traffic on the interstate down to a limping top speed of about 25 miles an hour. Managed to get to a parking lot and ended up hauling it the last 70 miles home on a car carrier.Contacted the Nissans National Customer Support Center which was of little help. Hauled the car to a local transmission shop where the owner found the pan full of metal shavings and the transmission shot. Called 2 other transmission shops which both offered the salient advice of you should not buy a Nissan with a CVT transmission. We are now facing a $3,200 bill to replace the transmission. Unfortunately we also have to haul the car to a Nissan dealer to have the transmission programmed or flashed after it is installed. Nissan extended the warranty to 120,000 miles on earlier models but the 2013 only has the 60,000 mile warranty because of the new transmission. May be new but certainly not better!!

I was leasing Nissan/Leaf 3 years. When I called to return instructions at end of the 3 year lease, they offered to extension on one year (with first 3 payments waiver) but they reported to all three credit bureaus 60 days payment late, and when I found it they credited payments as per agreement but my credit profile shows 60 days late not removed from credit bureaus Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. No response from Nissan. My credit score went down so bad I am not able to get pass any credit check. The incorrect 60 days late payment impacting my consumer finance and credit profile.

I purchased a new Nissan pathfinder in 2005 and I did just had issues with it at 87k miles transmission broke and Nissan didnt want to take responsibilities for the repairs so I had to fix it myself. Exactly one year later the radiator broke and leaked coolant to the transmission and transmission broke again. This time Nissan said OK we are going to give you a free transmission, but we have to install it. I paid Nissan 4k dollars to install the transmission and 6 months later I had problems with the thermostat and I decide to exchange it and I promise to myself that I will never buy a Nissan vehicle in my life again. In the past I had purchased Nissan Sentra, Pathfinder 97, Armada, Nissan pickup hard-body and I just have Toyota and Chevrolet, and I am very happy with my vehicles.

CVT failed on our 2012 Versa with 67000 miles. Nissan will not provide any assistance with the $4000 failure. Apparently they were losing too much money repairing these transmissions and decided to turn the problem into a profit center. Now they are having problems sourcing a replacement! Chrysler used the same Jatco transmission in three of their vehicles, but discontinued use because of the problems. I didnt realize at the time but my Jeep patriot company vehicle which also had a transmission failure uses the same transmission. Two rules for buying a car: 1. Make sure its not a Nissan 2. When I purchased a 2011 Nissan Frontier, I was asked, How would you like your payments to be made? Through automatic withdrawal or through mail? I clearly stated that I would like an online account that would draft my payments automatically on the 17th day of every month. When I first discovered that payments were being taken from my online account and through mail, I contacted my bank to stop the payment. I then contacted Nissan to inform them I did not want my account being drafted twice a month. Fast forward to a year later: the same thing, but only this time Nissan Finance writes an email to me apologizing for mistakenly drafting twice out of my account. I took the initiative to cancel one of the two payments that they were taking. Once I did, Nissan did the same thing; therefore, no payment was received for the month of July. Harassing phone calls everyday all day began approximately 4 days after. I spoke with a lot of callers (all of which I cant understand due to language barriers). I explained my grievance and they said, Sorry, but you now must make a payment for last month.” I find this company to be poorly run, disorganized and filled with negligence across the board. I can promise that this Nissan 2011 Frontier will be the last Nissan I buy and I will gladly share this story with anyone interested in buying a Nissan.

We WERE a Nissan family. 2012 Rouge on second transmission. First faulty transmission caught fire after Service Manager assured us the car was fine to drive. This left my 18 year old daughter on the side of a highway with a flaming car. 2015 Rouge CVT needed to be replaced. Sounded like the wheels were going to fall off. 2012 Versa transmission replaced the same week as the 2012 Rouge. Researched the Versa and it had air bags that were recalled and I was never notified. Called Corporate Nissan and spoke with two separate representatives that could have cared less that for safety or reliability. My daughters were both dismissed by service managers that told them their cars were fine. I am a single mom who has purchased 8 Nissans over the past 25 years. After speaking with Corporate Nissan three cars are going to be traded very quickly!!! BUY ELSEWHERE.

The recall notice states Your Model Year 2014 Nissan Versa Note is involved in a safety recall because delayed braking may occur if your foot contacts the center console trim panel when transitioning from the accelerator to the brake pedal. Ownership of a Nissan is synonymous with dissatisfaction. On March 25, 2019, I purchased a new Nissan Frontier from Jenkins Nissan, Leesburg, FL. After 30 months of ownership and only 14,058 miles, it had an obvious manufacturing defect. Namely, the paint started peeling off at nearly every weld spots on the fenders and the bed rail of the vehicle. They did determine that this is a “warranty issue.” On August 11, 2021, Jenkins Nissan Leesburg, Florida service personnel told me the peeling was indeed caused by the weld spots, but they did nothing except tell me to take the Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida because they (Jenkins Nissan) didnt have a body shop. I contacted Nissan Customer Services on August 15, 2021 to determine where I should take the vehicle to fix the manufacturing defect. On August 24, 2021, I was finally contacted by *** from Nissan Customer Services and she told me to take it to any Nissan Dealer to file the report to the Warranty Department for this region. On August 31, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida. Reed Nissan Clermont sent me to Reed Nissan Orlando because they didnt have a body shop either. On September 7, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Orlando, Florida. They inspected my car, took pictures and told me that they were filing a report and that I would hear something that day, fact is their words were, you should hear something within an hour. That hear something within an hour comment has now turned into several weeks. Finally on their advice on October 7, 2021, I took my Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Orlando to get it repaired. Only, that didn’t happen because Reed Nissan failed to file the claim. After much pressure from me, Reed Nissan filed the report. Finally, on October 29, 2021 the Nissan Frontier was repaired. It took 79 (seventy nine) days from the time of my complaint to get the vehicle fixed., I believe the Nissan Frontier is a very competitive vehicle but the three Nissan dealer’s LACK knowledge of filing a warranty issue claim is unacceptable. Had this been an engine failure or a transmission failure, I would have been without the vehicle for 79 days or 11 days shy of three months.

First time and last leasing from Nissan this 2018 Nissan Rogue SL.! At 5,000 miles had front end whining. Took to dealer. They said nothing wrong.? I would not leave without them looking further into this noise. Well they found a faulty bearing and replaced it. I asked for a wheel alignment also to be done. I thought they did this.? But at 10,000 miles I had wheel pulling and shaking in the front of the car. Took to same dealer for service but was told because it needed a wheel alignment it was my fault so I asked for a inspection that I paid for. They found a faulty control arm and strut on same side as the replaced bearing.! Well they said it was my fault that I did something to cause this and would not fix it unless I paid for the repairs.! This is totally a terrible company and cars also.!I contacted corporate and worse treatment said my fault so, “We can’t help you.!” It is caused by not having a wheel alignment that I asked for at the prior bearing replacement.? So I am a victim of Nissan North America that makes you think you are getting a great deal on a lease car.! Then when you have a true problem that you did not cause they throw you under the”BUS”!!! They suck people in by giving them a lot of “Bells and Whistles” standard on the cars and not caring about anyone’s safety just making their pockets DEEPER!!!Stay away from these dealers and cars nothing but trouble for the consumer while they take no responsibility at all after you sign and leave the dealership.!! Where is their warranty on a new vehicle.? This is proof that there is none.! So my car if driven could cause a serious accident and possible near death to any passengers or others on the road!!! I have to pay for all the repairs before I can drive it again.!!! Buyers Beware.!!!!

I recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Rogue with 133,000 miles. Seemed to be just what I needed. However, just a few days after I purchased I noticed the engine would power down when taking off. I had it checked out and it was the transmission. I verified with the Nissan dealer and they confirmed it was the transmission. When calling to make the appointment and telling the problem that was experienced the service guy expected it to be the transmission. Seems that it is a common problem with the 2013 model. However, I have since found out that is a problem for 2010. Nissan needs to extend their warranty repair for this problem.

Long post... So I purchased a car brand new this past June (less than 3 months ago) from Gunn Nissan in San Antonio’s. Regret #1, buying from Gunn Nissan - bad delivery of a new vehicle. Regret #2, buying a Nissan - I have a lemon and want Nissan to buy it back. This has been an awful few months as a Nissan owners. Two major issues... Delivery of my new vehicle and major mechanical issue.First of all - when I purchased the 2019 Nissan Armada platinum reserved brand new...there were deep scratches in the paint of the bumper and the bumper guard. I noticed this before driving off - shame on me for taking it then. A couple attempts at repairing it - photo attached of first repair when they had it for 24hrs and literally dabbed on some touch up paint (not very well) and left the bumper guard as is. It was finally painted in the body shop (yes, my brand new car) and it appeared that they sprayed bed liner on the bumper guard to cover those scratches. I was not happy with the repair but then again...there was nobody even there to ask how I felt or sign paperwork. I’m a busy person (single mom, 3 kids, multiple jobs and activities and it was not high on my priority list as it had already taken so much of my time. Shame on me again for not making a bigger fuss then).Oh - and it only came with one key and they had to locate floor mats and take from a different vehicle since they couldn’t find the ones that came with mine. I had to go back on a Friday when the person who could program a new car keys was in since they couldn’t locate the second key. I did ask by the way during this time to please just trade it in for a similarly equipped vehicle and the manager was happy to tell me that he’d give me blue book value... It was less than two weeks old at this point and already they had attempted the first cosmetic repair.Fast forward a couple months. Last week I got a message - BCI malfunction and it wouldn’t start. Eventually got it started while waiting for the tow truck and just a few minutes later I couldn’t get it out of park. Took it to dealership next morning. REPAIR #1 Thursday - dropped it off at 8am and picked it up around 2:30 pm that afternoon. They replaced the brake switch - didn’t make it a mile down the road when the same BCI malfunction light came on, turned around and took it right backREPAIR #2 - dropped it off Thursday afternoon around 2:30 pm picked it up Friday around noon. They replaced the brake sensor. Made it about 3 miles this time and the same message came on again... BCI malfunction. Called this time furious and they offered to pick up the car from my work. They pick up my car around 3pm and had it Friday, Saturday (their service dept is open all day Saturday), and Monday - I got a call on Monday around 3:45 which they left a voicemail because I was on the phone with Nissan USA regarding my case and replied to an email I had sent earlier that day checking on the status of repair. In the email and on the voicemail they clearly stated they had replaced the front end collision sensor and did the alignment for it, test drove the Armada and no lights came on. So it was ready but they said they would keep it until the next day (Tues) to drive it again just to be safe. I consider this to have been REPAIR #3 since it was the third part and attempt at repairing it.I emailed Tuesday afternoon thinking I would have had my car by now since the Monday test drive went well. The service advisor replied saying that it looks good and they were out test driving it and if it worked they’d bring it to me shortly. Got an email about an hour later saying they were going to order another part. So to me... REPAIR #4 attempt. I replied... So the light went off again huh and they said yes. Got an email Wed afternoon that part was in and replaced but they wanted to again keep it overnight to be safe. Thursday everything was still good and they delivered my Armada to me Thursday late morning. When they delivered the car the paperwork did not include repair #3 so I didn’t want to sign paperwork. I called the service advisor who told me they never replaced the front sensor even though I have an email and a voicemail stating that they did and it had been completed. He tells me it’s a miscommunication and I didn’t understand but nothing had been replaced. I reluctantly signed the paperwork but figured since I knew I had the voicemail & email as back up I would be good.Lemon law states that you must attempt the same repair 4 times to be considered a lemon. Am I crazy to think it’s a lemon or should I be happy that I don’t have the BCI malfunction message??? The fact that I have them caught in an outright lie is very concerning and shady. This is such an abbreviated version - if you’d like a longer version I have it typed up and ready to share with you - just message me.I could go on and on about how nobody returns calls as well but that’s all just petty I guess at this point and my main concern is a vehicle that is less than three months old with this many issues and the lack of response and deceitfulness of the dealership repairing it. Can’t get through to a manager or get a call returned on many occasions. Once you buy the car they could CARE LESS as soon as that paperwork is signed. I will say that I feel both my salesperson and service advisor were both very nice and just had their hands tied by Gunn management.

Let me start off by saying, I just came back from overseas, and I am now stationed in Fort Stewart, GA. I am looking into purchasing a brand new Nissan Altima. I searched online and made a few stops. I had stopped by your Hinesville store, and saw a car I wanted. I asked them to give me the write up, because I wanted to go through my own bank. A guy there, who said he was the manager, said he would get the pricing together, and give me a call back. I never got any calls, only one from someone named Julie, and she does not know what she is doing. She had no clue I was just waiting for the price. Then, the internet manager from there called me, and I told him that I just got a phone call from his co-worker, and I think no one really wants to sell me a car. On 10 November 11, someone ran my credit with out my permission. I told them up front if I were to purchase a car, I would not go through Nissan. I am not aware what the law is for that, but I am looking into that now. Next, your Savannah store call me (Steven **). He seemed up front, and seemed as if he wanted to really help me. I told him I live about an hour away, and I didnt want to go up there and go through what I did at Hinesville. So we stopped by, and I showed him the car I wanted, and told him all I need was the write up to send to my bank.He talked to his manager, and he came over to speak with me. I explained to him why I wanted to go through my own bank, and he was so rude and had such an attitude. I understand Nissan will make more money if we go through them, but what he wasnt trying to hear is that, I may not get approved through you guys. So Steven told me that his computer was not working, but he would email me the write up, so I can send it to my bank. I got an email Saturday saying, he can send it to me, but we would have to come back. I dont understand why the manager just couldnt give it to us right then and there. I dont live right up the corner, to drive over there, to pick it up. This service is so unprofessional and I dont understand why I have to be treated like this. Is it because I am a woman? Your Hinesville store made me sit there for over an hour, while I watched him help other men. In the mean time, I had 2 infants, and my sister-in-law waiting in the car, right in their face. I have been out of the states for a long time, but I know that this kind of service is not acceptable. Here I am, a woman fighting for someones freedom, who doesnt even have the respect to help me. I am serious about buying a car and they are not serious about selling.I did not allow anyone to run my credit. I told them more than once, I would not go through Nissan. I will be looking into consequences for something like this. I feel like I was discriminated for being a woman. I also feel like someone blew me off, because I didnt want to finance through Nissan.

Dec of 2018 I purchased my 8th Nissan through a local used car dealer. I purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima with 43k miles cosmetically good condition. At first I noticed it was smoking blue when I would power on the vehicle and the smell of Burnt rubber. As I normally do with all my vehicles I called Nissan to see if it had any recalls etc. and took it for service, shortly after I get low oil pressure on my dash. I then looked at the owners manual and called where I had my oil change they re serviced and did not notice any leaks etc.3/20/10 I took it to Rothrock Nissan in Allentown for diagnostics and they tell me that there is oil burning something having to do with the valves, but that I needed to bring it in again for a 3 hr diagnostics at $120 hr (of course this is out of pocket unless its approved to be covered by Nissan powertrain warranty that the vehicle still had till it reached 60k). I took my vehicle in on 3/26/19 in the morning, at this point I needed a rental to get to and from. I asked my advisor Simone and she says they dont have any and proceeds to call a major car rental co. I called throughout the week to get updates since it went from a 3 hr to a wk long diagnostics and I was told they found sludge in the oil pan therefore more than likely Nissan would deny covering under warranty as that only happens due to poor maintenance. (Really? Im being held liable for a previous owner lack of maintenance yet I have all my service receipts).I quickly called Consumer Affairs and opened a claim with them which I didnt get a call till I had already picked up my car on a Tuesday because when I went to Rothrock my car was unassembled and the tech working on it was off. Really??? Wow customer service and having me an answer by Friday of the same week, keep in mind I called the service manager Patrick twice to get updates and no return call. I literally had to show up after work to get an answer. At this point I have to keep a rental 3 more days to my expense (smh). I was told the claim had not been approved yet and I would have to wait till Monday 4/1/19. I called Monday and they stated it had been denied now the warranty was null and void. Lovely Nissan!!!!I will never purchase another Nissan needless to say, being that they do not stand by their clients, I am now $690 out of pocket between car rental and diagnostics and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to try and make up for not approving replacing the engine through the powertrain warranty. They shouldve at least covered the diagnostics then. Tuesday of that following week I get a call from Trenisha at Nissan Consumer Affairs and they didnt even know I had the vehicle in my possession nor that supposedly the claim had been denied. So now Im 10k in a car debt/payment for a car that needs a new engine, had powertrain warranty but no longer valid through Nissans decision and $690 less in my pocket. So much for staying faithful to the brand. AGAIN dont BUY USED NISSANS THAT SO CALLED ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY AS THEY WILL LOOK FOR ANY EXCUSE TO NOT COVER. The worst part is realistically no used car dealer takes out all of the oil pans to used vehicles purchased at auctions or traded in.

I leased a 2012 Altima SL and made all the payments on time. I turned the car in at a Nissan dealership and paid all balances due. Several months after that apparently NMAC decide there was a balance due of $127 and never contacted me (email, phone, postal mail). Since I was unaware of the situation the amount went past due and I got a 30 day late notice on my otherwise perfect (770+) credit rating. Thats how I found out they felt I owed them some stupidly small amount. Absolutely horrendous customer service and I will never deal with them again. After exchanging my leased 2005 Nissan Altima for a new leased 2009 Nissan Altima, I was billed over $2,000 for excess damage. After reviewing the inspection report (inspection done by a third party company, without my review or given the chance to correct damages before turning the vehicle), I wrote a letter of dispute to NMAC and sent it registered mail and submitted payment in full for the items I agreed to. NMAC did not respond in writing or by phone to my letter of dispute. After a few months, I began to receive collection letters from an outside collection firm. Again I sent a letter of dispute to NMAC and sent a copy of the dispute for the file to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion credit bureaus. After a few more months I began to notice the adverse credit notations regarding this transaction with each credit bureau report.Once again I requested in a letter to NMAC that they respond to my original dispute and remove the adverse credit information from each credit bureau. After two years, I finally received a response. A demand for payment of the disputed amount and a comment that they viewed my original dispute as frivolous and without merit. After over three years, this adverse credit mark is still showing up and impacting my credit score negatively. I bought out my lease on my current Altima and will never again buy a Nissan product. I also go to great lengths to tell all of my friends and acquaintances to beware of doing business with Nissan and especially NMAC. Nissan may feel that they have won a battle with me for approximately $1,700.00, but I will try to hurt their sales as much as possible through my negative comments to friends and acquaintances. While in graduate business school, I learned that on average, consumers who have good experience with a company share it with one other person. Those who have a bad experience share it with an average of eleven other people. Im beating the average.

The CVT Transmission in my 2007 Nissan Sentra failed. I contacted Nissan customer affairs as advised by the authorized Nissan dealer repair shop. The representative admitted this is a flaw Nissan is aware of, and acknowledged that this has been an issue for other Nissan customers. After waiting for more than a week for a resolution, I was contacted by a Nissan corporate representative and informed that Nissan would offer no assistance with the repair or replacement of the faulty transmission. This is a direct quote for the representative: Youre just out of luck, maam. Nissan refused to let me speak with someone who would be authorized to alter this decision.

We bought a Qashqai late last year with 68 registration and for the second time in short space of time, my car refuses to start this morning. I was told by RAC man the last time that there was a fault in the car - something was draining the battery. I took the car to Nissan garage afterward for diagnostics and fixture, after which I was assured that the problem had been fixed. To my amazement, my car refuses to start this morning and We had the same problem with our previous Nissan Juke. I will never buy a Nissan car again!

I have been calling for over 2 months in regards to a negative credit reporting from Nissan. Nissan received an insurance check late and gave me negative credit reporting. After calling Nissan, they said they will put in a dispute. Now Im sitting here 2 months later with no update as far as how the situation planned out. All I keep getting are customer service reps who sound like they have no idea what they are doing and just give you an attitude. I have purchased numerous cars myself from Nissan as well as my family. I will no longer ever consider Nissan due to this issue. I recommend people look elsewhere for their vehicles because if there is an issue, Nissan will never take care of you. If I could give a negative star thats what it would be.

I have a 2008 Pathfinder. A few weeks ago the check engine light came on and the fuel gauge stopped working. I checked the web and found a recall from Nissan for 2008 pathfinder that had an issue where the check engine light came on and the fuel gauge stopped working. Perfect I thought so I took it to the dealership. They informed me that even though it was the exact same part for the same make, model and year, my VIN was not covered. So they will not cover the cost to fix. I have owned 3 Nissans and was planning on purchasing another next year. Now that I see that Nissan cares more about $400 than it does about this safety of their owners. I will never purchase a Nissan again. I think they are cheap and dishonest.

About a month ago I noticed the A/C on my Nissan Livina was having issues cooling the cabin and that the temp was not as cold as it used to. I know this because I rarely use the number 3 setting and never use the number 4 fan level of the blower. I had to Despite how high the setting was the air was not as cold as its supposed to be. My wife even noticed that the air was somewhat humid instead of crisp and cool. I figured it just needed cleaning. I was planning to have that done on its next scheduled check up which was only a couple of more weeks.About a week later, I noticed a dark stain on the front passenger carpet. I thought someone must have stepped on an oil stain and accidentally smeared it on the carpet. When I tried to check and see what it was, it was cold to the touch. I immediately removed the carpeting and noticed there was a small pool of water collecting on the floor. I tried to crank up the air conditioner and noticed that water was dripping from under the passenger side dashboard. I tried to look for the leak and had difficulty finding it. Thats when I decided to bring my car to a local A/C shop to have it checked. When I got to shop, I explained what was going on and the repairman assured me that the drainage just needed some cleaning. He said that the procedure was required pumping compressed air through the drainage to clear the blockage. As the repairman was going about the process, he had a difficult time locating the drainage as he was not really familiar with the make of my car. When he finally found where it was, he said that he cant clean it without taking the dash apart. At that point, I became iffy and decided not to push through with the repair, instead, take it to the dealership to get a better assessment of the problem. The following day, I went to Nissan to have it checked. By noon time, I realized my worst fear and they said that the evaporator is leaking and needed to be replaced. They estimated that the repair would entail replacing the evaporator and some other valves. The total damage was about $1,000. The service attendant was kind enough to get me a discount for the parts and labor and got about $100 off. I got my car back the following day and the air conditioner was good as new - it even had a new car smell to it. I love Nissans service and I will not consider looking at any third party repair outfit again. Im going with the professionals, even if the price point is a little bit higher than the rest. Thanks Nissan.

I have had the same problem twice now with the radiator failing causing the coolant to flow in transmission, cause 2 defective radiators and now transmission has to be replaced a second time and the radiator has to be replaced a third time. Nissan has known about these defects for years. They cost me around $8000 fixing this piece of ** and like most people on here, Im still paying over $300 a month on a truck that I cant drive. They need to recall all Nissan trucks with this problem and fix or reimburse people the total cost. This is wrong for all of the complainants on here to suffer like this. Someone, please help. My wife just had an accident today, 31 Jan 2012. It was a front end collision with her 2003 Nissan Sentra. She rear ended someone when she was driving 50 mph in a 55 mph zone. The braked car moved 75ft before colliding the driver side front end into the truck in front of her. The truck received little damage; however, her Nissan was crushed in the entire drivers side front half. The airbag did not deploy, and she stated the wheels would not turn to avoid the truck in front when she was braking. I took pictures and a video of the car and the entire scene. The police officer stated it was strange the air bag did not deploy, it should have. We just had her car serviced at the local Nissan dealership a couple months prior. I am wondering why the wheels locked when braking and why the airbag did not deploy. The car is totaled.

Purchased a 72 month, 100,000 miles extended protection plan from for a used Nissan Rogue on March 3, 2012. The car was two years old, with 29,655 miles on it. The dealer offer a 72 months plan at time of purchased as a good assurance in case of unforeseen problems, etc. Sounded like a good idea, 6 years protection especially as the car gets older and parts might be prone to failure. The problem arose when I took the car in to be repaired April 3, 2017. They told me the plan had expired. The car doesnt have 100,000 on it yet. The 6 year plan begins on date of service not date of purchase. So, according to Nissan, I paid for a protection plan 2 years before I bought the car. On the form, it is clearly marked 72 month, 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Not so clearly is that protection starts at in service date. How does this make any sense? I think its contradictory. How can you label a plan as 72 months, when I didnt own the car on 2010. Ive put in a complaint to Nissan, but am not expecting satisfaction. Anyone else have the same situation?

Purchased a used 2011 Nissan Versa with low mileage (66k) thinking that, like previously owned Nissans, this will last until 300k without any major issues. At 79k miles the car feels like it is loose and swaying back and forth while driving and the service light comes on. Take to Nissan dealer and find a recall and after looking at the transmission, they say we need to replace the transmission because it is giving a fail code. They only want $4000+ for the replacement, more than we owe on the car. Of course I did my research and see the thousands of complaints on the CVT engine that is supposedly the most efficient transmission on the market and they had upped the warranty coverage up until 2010 model to 120k miles. Great, that doesnt help my 2011 but I checked and it was manufactured in 2010, so I call 1800Nissan1 and complain and ask for help. To their benefit they come back and say they will pay half the transmission cost. Half, for a transmission with obvious issues that they know about but will not recognize officially. My wife and I bought the Nissan because it was a go-to car brand, it would be reliable, it would not let us down. In the midst of this the neighbors 2012 Nissan Altimas CVT transmission failed. I hate to say this, having had the 1996 Nissan Sentra for almost 14 years, but never will we buy another Nissan. My plan was to pay the car off this year anyhow so now it will sit as a monument until some reasonable lawsuit is filed on behalf of the people CVT transmissions has left stranded.

A 2015 Nissan Murano I leased in February 2015 was in the service department for 45 days. I was highly unhappy and wanted Nissan Consumer Affairs to either take the car back or exchange for a functioning one. Nissan consumer affairs was dismissive, vague, uninterested in the hardships I endured, and ignored the many valid complaints and concerns I had. They sent me generic letters only and in the last month never returned my calls. This company has become a joke, and I am proud to say I have already deterred 2 friends from buying a new Nissan. In customer service, the customer should be heard. Not dismissed!

I recently signed financing papers for a 2011 Nissan Cube at Girard Nissan.
I recently signed financing papers for a 2011 Nissan Cube at Girard Nissan. 425 Gold Star Hwy. Groton CT USA. Monday 6/22/15 I just happened to be driving by the dealership when I decided to see what they had in stock. I checked online to see what the reviews were. Whilst in the parking lot, they seemed ok. So I decided to check the items they had in stock. I noticed an older gentleman walking out the door to approach me. He introduced himself as **. He brought me in to the showroom before I even had a chance to look at any vehicles on the lot. He asked what kind of payment I was looking for. I explained what payment I could do. I also told him I would prefer to put $0 down. But could put $500 down if absolutely necessary. Three hours after I gave them the down payment, 3 hours of sitting and waiting in the waiting room, chasing my children around, they stated that they needed $200 more. Flash forward to today 6/26/15 when I went to the dealership to give them back the vehicle because I was refusing to keep it on the terms that they did not follow through with implied warranty and implied quality of the vehicle. When I asked the sales manager ** why did you have me sit around for 4 hours the first day was here? The manager told me that the credit union was not open so they had to wait until the following day. My initial thought was if the credit union wasnt open, how would they have known that they needed another $200 to secure the financing? Seems a bit shady, but whats even more shady ** showed me my credit score, to assert the point that he had to work to get the financing, only to see the real credit score on the financing application was 40 points higher than the one he showed me just minutes earlier to convince me that I was not going to be able to secure financing elsewhere. I kept both reports to confirm this. Before I ever signed to purchase the vehicle on 6/23/15 the dealership had me take the car home, stating that they were going to work on getting a better financing rate. But to get to the point where I was sent home with the car, I waited 4 hours for them to work on the financing whilst my 2 children were running a muck through out the dealership. This seemed to be a tactic to stress me out to the point where I would just sign the papers without reading them just to get out of there. Luckily my husband was here to help with the children, but it was undoubtedly a very stressful time indeed.I took the car home 6/22/15 and drove it down the highway and notices something very strange about how the transmission was shifting. When going down a steep hill, the engine would rev at 3000. When going approximate 55 mph the car would not shift and would start to redline so I decided to bring it to be checked out. My friend who is a mechanic explained to me that the transmission was slipping. It wouldnt shift into a higher gear when driving down the highway and would rev at six grand until the accelerator pedal was released and furthermore the car would also raise the idol on declining ground. He explained that these are the first symptoms of a transmission issue. When I went back to the dealership the next day 6/23/15 my spouse was unable to go with me because he was working, which was disheartening for me because he is the one who deals with all of the finances in the household. But the men at the dealership insisted that I come back at this time, on this day, as soon as I got out of work, knowing I would be alone to sign the papers. I explained to the people at the dealership that I was not satisfied with the vehicle at all. I told them explicitly that I didnt want the vehicle. I cited the following reasons as to why I didnt want the vehicle. First there was a severe smoke smell in the car. I told them that the smell made me sick. I am currently fighting a sinus issue due to this. I explained that I wanted a vehicle history report and they wouldnt give me one. I also explained that my mechanic told me that the transmission isnt working properly. ** the manager stated that they could do an extended warranty on it. He didnt introduce himself but he did offer a warranty to me. I explained that I still didnt want the vehicle. Another salesman stated that he would take the vehicle out for a ride to check it out. This man was in his early 30s had a small build. So when he returned from the test drive he confirmed that the idle was odd whilst going down a hill. This man stated that this was normal for a cvt transmission. He didnt check it on a highway to witness the lack of shifting, but he was only a sales person. I cant see how a sales person would have known more than a mechanic but anyhow. The sales manager ** explained that he worked really hard to get me the loan, and that I wouldnt have gotten a loan if he didnt do that work, and also explained if I didnt get a car from them I wouldnt get financing. I asked him what kind of interest rate he got and he said, what does it matter!? And refused to tell me, I kept it within the price range you asked for. He made it seem like I owed him for doing that work. I felt backed into a corner at this point. This is where he hands me the modified credit score, which was 40 points lower than the one on the financing application. I told the staff that there were vehicles posted for sale online through other dealerships with far lower miles, at the same price. No one seemed to care, but it is posted on their website that they guarantee competitive prices. This is false advertisement. The sales manager ** explained that he could sell me a different vehicle, but explained that it would cost me more, and I would have to wait another day to see if the financing would come through. He was rushing me along and explained that because of my credit I wouldnt be able to get financing anywhere else. He stated that he could offer me a 2012 leaf at 13000. I explained that if I was going to purchase a different vehicle I wanted to do some research. He wasnt having that he continued rushing me. The dealership was about to close. I later looked the leaf up on their website and noticed that it was listed for 11000, after the fact this really made me worry about the integrity of the men I was dealing with.I didnt want to purchase the cube with the mileage on the vehicle. I felt forced to sign the papers. The men at the dealership knew I didnt have a ride home otherwise. Since my husband wasnt there, the staff at Girard Nissan knew this, and took advantage of me. While I was in doing the paperwork, ** explained that I couldnt not have the all inclusive warranty but could only get the one that covered certain parts. Not only that but he informed me that they would not throw it in as the manager had originally mentioned, but I would have to pay $1599 for it. They told me to come back Friday for the registration and plates for the vehicle. I called Girard Nissan Wednesday. No one returned my call. I called Thursday multiple times finally the sales manager ** called me back around 6pm. He fought with me over the phone about the car, and explained that I should just come in Friday to go over the situation. On 6/26/15 I went to the dealership explained my extreme dissatisfaction to the sales manager **, but he explained to me that the vehicle was mine now, so I would have to take it up with the bank. I explained that I would speak to a lawyer to see what my rights were. He boastingly said go again you better get two of them, and explained that I would not accept the vehicle and left the keys on the counter. Is there anything that can be done about this? I signed the papers on Wednesday evening, and the sales manager tells me the vehicle is my problem now.

My 2005 Murano was serviced by a dealer for a stalling problem. The dealer stated a need of Cam shaft sensor replacement for a fix. Further, they recommended that the CVT be replaced due to an action of recoiling at deceleration which I mentioned the exactly the same dilemma to a Nissan tech adviser who wrote a ticket. A mechanic test drove my car & was able to verify/duplicate the symptom of the recoiling action aforementioned. I told the Nissan dealer to replace the Cam sensor & the transmission fluids knowing that a warranty doesnt cover the expenses involved with the replacement of CVT.Next day, Oct/29/15, I accidentally discovered on internet that Nissan had extended warranty on CVT to 10 yr/120,000 miles. Consequently, I called the customer rep. to confirm an eligibility. The rep. submitted a ticket for a regional specialist to call me next day which they did. The answer was No because I purchased my car on Aug/16/2005 which is merely (2) months outside window of an extended warranty. I greatly disappointed & called a customer Rep. again to re-open the case for the following reasons: I have never received the notification from the Nissan of an extended warranty on CVT.Im the original owner & it has only 78,000 miles on it. Mine failed at such low miles, then whod buy a car from Nissan. Id have taken the car to a dealer to replace the CVT if Id known the extended program. I love my car & the performance except the mishap of CVT. Im awaiting on a reply from a regional manager this time in a few days for a final decision.

Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buy
Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buying experience was amazing and the sales representative was amazing. Fast forward 71 days and the nightmare begins. So I bought a brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue in January and of course it was still cold. However as it warmed up and I needed to use the AC I realized the drivers vents would blow warm or room temperature air while the passenger side would be freezing cold even when set to the exact same temperature. I called Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery Alabama where I purchased my car and advised them of the issue. They set an appointment for the following week for me to bring the car in to be fixed, or so I thought. When I dropped my car off I was told even though I brought in an SUV they would only be able to put me in an Altima, though I was disappointed I went with it. To my surprise when I reached the vehicle I was to use it was filthy! Being that we are still in the midst of a pandemic I went back in and refused to take that vehicle. They then Provided me with another Altima. The next day I called 3 or 4 times to see what had been done to fix my car. Finally around 3 pm I received a call saying they could not detect any issue and that I could come and pick my car up. I was told that the temperature shown was not per vent, but the temperature in the entire car. This didnt seem accurate because one of the selling points was the dual climate control, but it was a Friday and due to the size of my family I couldnt afford to be in the loaner car any longer. So I went and picked up my car... I tried to chalk it up to maybe the car didnt do for them what it had been doing with me. When I pulled out of the dealership to head home, the drivers side was blowing heat to the point that I began to sweat. I made a U-turn and went back to the dealership and demanded to speak with someone to show them what was happening and see another vehicle like mine do the same. After waiting 15 minutes, the representative came out and witnessed exactly what I was referring to and to my surprise he seemed surprised which makes me feel like my car hadnt even been looked at in the 2 days it had been there. We then sat in another Rogue to see if this is indeed normal and what do you know the other car did NOT have the same issue proving that this is not normal for this make and model. They sent another representative out who appeared to be a manager and he proceeded to insult my intelligence by insisting it was operating as it should. I told them both that I was not satisfied and I would like it fixed. His solution was for me to turn my driver temp down and passenger temp up which made both sides blow the same temperature. I advised them that that was only a bandage not a solution. I bought a new car and I expected it to operate as it should. The representative then offered to reopen the ticket and assured me that he would be reaching out to me with a solution by Wednesday. WELL TODAY IS THURSDAY! No word from Jack Ingram. I called Nissan yesterday evening and filed a consumer complaint, the rep called today and said that Jack Ingram would be calling me within the hour to set up a time for my car to be reevaluated. That was 4 hours ago. At this point I dont know what to do, but I do know that I will never do business with Nissan and definitely not with Jack Ingram if they do not resolve this matter! On a lighter note the sales team there is amazing and after speaking with the sales manager. I will hopefully be able to have a SUV as a loaner whenever the service team can get it together and FIX MY CAR!

I have owned a significant number of Nissan vehicles - 2 Maximas, 2 Pathfinders, 2 Infinitis - and after my recent experience, I will never purchase again. I have a 2017 Maxima in which I knew had a mechanical issue. At the time I made the appointment with local dealership to inspect, mileage was under 60,000 miles. After waiting 10 days for appointment, their assessment was that I need a new front left bearing hub - the challenge, after waiting for the appointment, the mileage was now 60,265 miles and the warranty ends at 60,000. Their suggestion was to discuss with Nissan Consumer Affairs. Nissan position after more than a week of conversations - We dont care that you are a life long customer and that we will lose your future business. We refuse to help you because you are 0.4% out of warranty, even though you had to wait 10 days for your appointment with one of our dealers. So charged close to $200 for the assessment on a part that should be covered under warranty and dealership looking for additional $300 for a repair in which I can purchase an official Nissan part online for $60. No help. No consideration. No further purchases from me on a brand that shows no appreciation for their customers.

Surface rust inside door: mileage at 59800 km but was 24 days after warranty: no warranty. Nissan called me recently to purchase new car: I told to forget me and put on their do not call list. Bought Rogue in April of 2011. It is a 2011 model. Car was BRAND NEW! Approx. 8-12 months later, noticed transmission making high-pitched whining sound. Call Nissan, Norwich, CT where I had purchased vehicle. Was told that the noise was normal for the CVT transmission. So I didnt worry about it after that. Finally in May of 2014, I really thought the transmission wasnt right. I brought it in and paid Norwich Nissan 116.00 diagnostic fee. Was given invoice/statement saying that the transmission had been checked and that no problems were found and that no service needed. Then in November, my transmission suddenly stopped working, and I barely made it home. I was furious! I took it to a local trusted mechanic and he told me the transmission was shot and had been going for a long time! I contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs and it took over a month of phone calls back and forth for them to finally tell me that that would claim no responsibility because the car was too far out of warranty (82,000 miles). When I first asked Nissan about the car, it probably only had about 24,000 on it. Then in May when they checked the transmission, it had 70,000 miles. I did some research and found several other customers whose transmission had died around 70 - 72,000 miles just like mine. DON’T TRUST NISSAN......VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF THEY KNOW YOURE RIGHT! I will continue to seek legal action against this company. In the meantime, Ive bought a Mazda, so far very happy with. Am in the process of trying to sell my 30,000 dollar Rogue (now worth about $6,000 without a transmission!).

I have a leaking sending unit on my 2015 Nissan Sentra. I opened a case report with Nissan Corporation 2 weeks ago, Sept 1, but have not received a call back from Nissan during normal business hours despite 6 calls Ive made to the Nissan Customer Representative over the past 2 weeks. Nissan has a recall for the same problem -- on the 2015 Altima and 2015 Maxima -- an improperly installed ring on the sending unit, resulting in leaking fuel. I cannot get any assistance from Nissan as of today, August 12.Additionally Nissan sent me a letter earlier this year (the letter of course is not dated but I received it this past spring 2019) advising that I might have a complete blockage..in the EVAP tube located between the fuel tank and the evaporative emission canister. While this is different from the problem of the leaking sending unit, it illustrates that Nissan clearly has multiple problems with defective fuel pump assembly parts and/or improperly installed fuel pump assembly parts.

We purchased a brand new 2015 Nissan Rogue in September of this year and were experiencing radio issues from the day we left the dealer lot. It came in very static sounding and we thought maybe we were just in an area with poor reception. As we continued to drive the problem continued in various areas. The sound is so bad that we dont even use the radio. Were forced to use the free XM subscription that is almost expired or the CD player. We brought our car into the dealer of purchase and they claimed to have fixed the issue but we still had the same problem. Being that the dealer we purchased from was far from our home, we took it to another dealer. It has been back twice since then and they have not been able to fix it saying that Nissan needs to release a software update and until they do that the problem cannot be fixed. We were given Nissans number to follow up with them and today (11/19/15) I received a call with the regional consumer affairs representative pretty much telling me that they dont have a solution. I asked her what the timeframe is and if they would offer any other answer besides others have been complaining of the same issue and theyre working on it but she kept repeating the same thing. No timeframe, no resolution, theyre working on it. I even asked if they would cover the satellite radio until the software update comes out to fix the problem and she said they would not. So now if I want to listen to anything besides a CD, Id have to take out more money to pay for the subscription. I completely understand that this isnt a mechanical or safety issue but when consumers are spending thousands of dollars on a brand new item that is warranted to work in a specific manner and the company is not standing behind their customer service, this is absolutely outrageous. I have never heard of something like this before. I paid for a brand new, fully functioning car and that is not what I received. Nissan should be truly ashamed at themselves for selling products like this and not even offering a resolution in the meantime. Horrible quality control, horrible customer service. I will definitely think twice before purchasing another Nissan specifically due to their poor customer service.

I leased a 2013 Altima in June 2013. Car shuddered, had torque converter replaced still shuddered. New transmission still shuddered, another transmission still car shudders. Nissan says they will take car back if I pay usage fee or they will give me money and I keep the lease. I fail to see the benefit to me if youre considering a Nissan. The cvc transmission is to be worried about. Own 2 Nissans at this time and a total of 5 since 2006 but will find a way to unload them. Stand behind your products.

I had horrible experience with Nissan Dealers in Atlanta, First of all, Their treatment is Lowest & never bothered about customer views. Sat down for 3/4 Hours & they even did not offer water. At least they asked us to sit. The second thing is about pricing. Over the phone, they told us that price for leasing the Nissan Leaf S model with Quick charge about $260 per month without VPP. After talking to them, they told us that price gone up to $363 per month. They wasted our complete Saturday with precious time for us since schools are opening on Monday. I want some senior officials from Nissan USA to look into this matter. You cannot cheat customers like this. I decided I will never buy/Lease any Nissan car in Future.
