In Feb 2013, I leased a brand new Nissan Pathfinder. I had an 2010 Altima prior but with my family size increasing, I decided to upgrade to something larger. The worst purchase of my life. On the SAME DAY I brought the vehicle home, it would not go into PARK. I had to return it to the dealer. After picking it up that evening on the drive home it started shaking violently to the point that my toddler was terrified in his car seat. I drove right back to the dealer who kept the car for 7 days and then called and said it was ALMOST repaired. But it is safe to drive and as soon as Nissan has the recall part ready I can bring it in and they would have it repaired. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs after numerous fights with the dealer who washed their hands of the issue because they already had my money. Well the only thing worse than a Nissan vehicle is the people that work at their corporate offices. They were of no help and said they were not going to buy back the vehicle as I would have to wait for it to be fixed. I picked up the truck and the VERY NEXT DAY, it completely stalled in a parking lot. It had to be towed into the dealer. 48 hours later I was told that it would be there for another 7 days or so because it needed a NEW TRANSMISSION!!! Please keep in mind all this in only 15 days and I havent even put 50 miles on the car! Well after numerous talks with Nissan and the dealer I got screw over because I am to this day stuck with a vehicle that still never works right. The parking sensor light comes on when its 37 degrees, the heated seats malfunction, the car is always jittery and the tires were terrible! Had to be replaced after 20K miles! To add insult to the injury the Nissan dealer did not submit my payment that was made to them to their finance company in a timely manner and they reported that late payment on my credit report! Even though I have recurring payments set up with them. And it gets worse. I just relocated to PA from NY and they increased my payment by 60 dollars stating that the taxes are different! All with no explanation! Their customer reps are downright rude and nasty! This is the WORST COMPANY ever! I tell everyone I know how horrific they are and how horrible their vehicles are! I have met many people who have had the same issues with this type of car and who feel so ripped off and violated by this company.

CVT failed on our 2012 Versa with 67000 miles. Nissan will not provide any assistance with the $4000 failure. Apparently they were losing too much money repairing these transmissions and decided to turn the problem into a profit center. Now they are having problems sourcing a replacement! Chrysler used the same Jatco transmission in three of their vehicles, but discontinued use because of the problems. I didnt realize at the time but my Jeep patriot company vehicle which also had a transmission failure uses the same transmission. Two rules for buying a car: 1. Make sure its not a Nissan 2. Dont buy if it has a Jatco transmission.

This vehicle has been the best model that we have ever purchased. It is a 2003 model, but we have never had to have any major work done. The dealership had a reputation of honesty. The vehicle had a good look and when we test drove it, it drove so smoothly. We took it on back roads to try how it handled on curves and small potholes. The only thing I dislike is that the passenger side seatbelt locks as soon as the vehicle starts, with much discomfort until I release it and put it back on.

I came in to speak with someone about the paint peeling off my car. My car is a 2003 Nissan Sentra. I was told my complaint was denied due to it being 7 years old. Roof and trunk are peeling off. Car is well maintained, waxed 2 times a year. I feel that Nissan should at least fix this problem. This is my first new car, and I am disgusted with the way it know looks. I have been told by several body shops that this is a manufacture defect. Please think about this, Im ready to call turn to ten, Susan **. I dont come down to this, but I will. Thank You.

If your E-ZPASS does not get recognized by a toll plaza NMAC will get the bill and automatically pay fees and penalties and charge you without notification, plus their surcharge on top. You will not be able to contest the toll or penalties since you are not the owner and will not be notified until after-the-fact. And their customer service people will overtalk you on the phone and shut you down. Very RUDE! Do not get a Nissan lease, its a scam!

Bought Rogue in April of 2011. It is a 2011 model. Car was BRAND NEW! Approx. 8-12 months later, noticed transmission making high-pitched whining sound. Call Nissan, Norwich, CT where I had purchased vehicle. Was told that the noise was normal for the CVT transmission. So I didnt worry about it after that. Finally in May of 2014, I really thought the transmission wasnt right. I brought it in and paid Norwich Nissan 116.00 diagnostic fee. Was given invoice/statement saying that the transmission had been checked and that no problems were found and that no service needed. Then in November, my transmission suddenly stopped working, and I barely made it home. I was furious! I took it to a local trusted mechanic and he told me the transmission was shot and had been going for a long time! I contacted Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs and it took over a month of phone calls back and forth for them to finally tell me that that would claim no responsibility because the car was too far out of warranty (82,000 miles). When I first asked Nissan about the car, it probably only had about 24,000 on it. Then in May when they checked the transmission, it had 70,000 miles. I did some research and found several other customers whose transmission had died around 70 - 72,000 miles just like mine. DON’T TRUST NISSAN......VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IF THEY KNOW YOURE RIGHT! I will continue to seek legal action against this company. In the meantime, Ive bought a Mazda, so far very happy with. Am in the process of trying to sell my 30,000 dollar Rogue (now worth about $6,000 without a transmission!).

I bought a new vehicle to replace my old one which was destroyed in an accident. Bought a Nissan since the last 4 cars between my wife & myself have been Nissans & they were all pretty good. Bought the car May 31 14 & by November it was completely dead. Long story short, it is presently at the dealership for the 6th time & still not fixed. It has been there for 3 weeks & they dont even return my phone calls to update the status. I had an oil change on 9/24 & they phoned me the next day, & followed it up with 2 e-mails asking about my experience, but they wont fix my car or keep me in the loop! I got on the dealerships chat line this afternoon & Donna promised to have them get back to me & also promised to e-mail me a transcript of our conversation for my records. She did neither! If this company had a spread of decency they would be ashamed!

Ive been dealing with the same issue for over a year and a half. Every time I call to see if they have fixed the problem (after they have told me it will be fixed), they havent. I dont understand how a business can run without doing their job. Ive called at least 15 times and have been told every time it will be fixed. Ive even asked for a call back every time; not once have I gotten one back. After a year and a half, NMAC has impacted my credit score. I planned to purchase a home in September 2013 but will not be able to. My quality of life has been diminished severely due to this issue. I have lost sleep thinking about what NMAC has done to my credit and how I will have to pay for NMACs fault for years to come. I can honestly say I have never thought a car purchase would negatively impact my life like this. I can only imagine how many customers Nissan is losing due to NMAC.

I cannot begin to laud all the positive things I need to say about my Nissan. I have had the car since 2004 and it has been an absolute joy to own such a great car. In the thirteen (13) years I have owned this fine vehicle I have not put ANY major parts into it. I do routine maintenance ie: oil changes, tires, battery (1) one time. Have driven from my home state to Northern WASHINGTON without anything out of the ordinary. Total miles was over (3000) three thousand and all I did was buy gas.

I bought a 2016 Versa Note in 2016 and while I love my car and have had no problems with the car itself at all - dealing with the finance department of Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp (NMAC) has been a nightmare. It was ok the first few months. They offer FREE one time payment through their website as well as recurring autopayments and then over the phone methods of paying which charge fees ranging from 7 to 12 bucks. They have taken duplicate payments in August and when I called about it they stated they were going to refund one of them - which they never sent the refund out to me yet on the account it showed a reversed payment so the system kept reporting that I had not paid. As they had never sent the refund and still had my duplicate payment for that month I had actually paid a month in advance yet the system continued to show I hadnt paid Augusts payment at all. I called and spoke with multiple people who all confirmed my next payment would not be due until October. In September the system took YET ANOTHER payment. Note - this is now $975 of payments that the system is only showing $325 having been received. I called AGAIN and said they needed to get my money back to me ASAP. I was put on hold for 45 minutes while he spoke with a supervisor and then it dropped my call. I call back and of course its a new person and theres no note on my account about a refund. This person says the fastest way to get my money is to call the bank and stop the payment. I stop the September payment with my bank which cost me 25 bucks and call Nissan back to tell them to forget it I fixed it myself. Nissan says - Oh I see in the system theyve issued you a refund check. I said - Guess you better call your bank and pay the stop payment fee like I just had to do! Apparently they didnt. I get the refund check in the mail and ignore it. Im sick of being put on hold and having to call them every damn day at this point. WELL - because I did the stop payment - per Nissans advice - AND they sent a refund check the system reversed the September payment that they took without my permission, and the SECOND August payment! So now the system shows that I havent paid since July.To recap - $325 + $325 taken in August - refund of $325 never received yet recorded in system manually by person who said I could have one imaginary refund reversed the duplicate August payment in the system though I never actually got my money back (Nissan still has my $650 - Aug and Sept payment). $325 taken in Sept - stop payment reversed the Sept payment. Nissan issued a refund even though I told them I fixed it myself and to stop their check (they didnt). System reversed the Sept payment owing to the refund (it reverses once the check is cut not when you cash the check). System then reversed the FIRST August payment owing to the stop payment. So - I have now paid $975 dollars in 2 months and gotten $325 back yet Nissan continues to tell me I owe them $650 dollars plus late fees. To which I laughed hysterically in their ear and hung up. I took some shots and called back and I FINALLY get a supervisor which I have asked to speak to no less than 6 times since August and I break it all down for her repeatedly until she understands what has occurred. She says - deposit the check in my account and make a $655 payment to fix the September payment and pay October.+325 Aug 1. +325 Aug 2 (should count toward Sept). +325 Sept. -325 Refund (for Sept payment taken which is now a double). + 655 Pay Sept and Aug 2 payment that I actually already paid and never got a refund for but the system thought I did). So I stop the auto payments because ** them and do one time payment in November. I get the thank you email on Nov 14, the your payment is processing email November 15, and then it never hits my account. By today Im like CRAP guess I gotta call. I call them and theyre telling me how this is a problem with my bank. NO - you are the common denominator. This is a problem WITH YOU.I told them I will not pay late fees and I will not have this hitting my credit account and that I wanted it in the notes on my account that I want to give them money and they dont want to take it. They want me to use BILL MATRIX which charges 12 bucks to make a payment. Their FREE one time payment method HARDLY ever works THUS FORCING YOU TO USE BILL MATRIX and pay a fee! Im on to their game! I will keep submitting free one time payments and making notes in my account for the rest of my eternity before I pay another payment fee to this disorganized mess of a finance department. This is the hill I will die on. The end.

According to Nissan, the problem is that I updated my phone. Nissan wants you to keep your phone months to years behind in updates so their app might work. I have been told at least 4 different versions of IOS are the latest that have been approved. It seems as if they are just guessing, hoping it might work. Its no wonder they now use Car Play. First of all, thank you for your time in reading my complaint. I am contacting you for help with my 2010 Nissan Sentra. I have been denied coverage on my car with my Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty, and I tried to appeal it through Nissan Consumer Affairs as well. I have exhausted all measures in getting my car repaired through Empire Nissan Lakewood. My Piston Rod went through the Block of my Engine on 6th Avenue. I had the oil changed on 1/17/2017, but that was not the cause to my Engine to blow. Shell Rapid Lube Oil keeps records of all service by Camera and has reviewed the complete service by tape on my car. They are willing to provide that information to legal counsel. My car was purchased on March of 2010. At that time, we purchased a Nissan Extended Gold Preferred Plus Warranty which is good until March 2017 of this year. My maintenance records for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 were completed at Go Nissan Southwest which is now Larry Miller Nissan in Littleton, Colorado. 12/21/2014 I have records from Firestone that I had an oil change, new tires, and a battery purchase. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,089. 2/20/2015 I have records of all the service I had done at Empire Lakewood Nissan. I would like to point out at that time on page 3 it states I had a possible oil leak, and they resealed the oil pan under my Security Plus Warranty. On page 4 they stated I needed another oil change which is a requirement when repairing an oil pan, but failed to list they did the oil change and stated I declined it. They are stating it is an error they did not list it on my paperwork, and can’t tell me if the used my old oil since it was just changed 12/21/2014, or if they put in new oil. Clearly, a problem they will not address. Mileage on the car at that time was 27,949. Why would I decline an oil change? It should be procedure to change the oil be changes when you repair a leak in an oil pan. What oil did they use? How did they make this repair without completing an oil change? 1/17/2017 My record of oil change at Shell Rapid Lube. Mileage at that time 31,740. As you can see I have kept up with the maintenance on this car since purchase. I am self-employed, and work from and this is why the mileage is slow low on this car. Example: From 12/21/2014-2/20/2015 I put 860 miles on my car. From 2/20/2015-1/17/2017 I put 3,790 miles on my car. I have 2 tow bills which Nissan will not pay for, and I have been declined a rental car which both are included in my Extended Nissan Extended Plus Warranty. Since the purchase of my car in March of 2010 to date, and put an average of $4,535 miles on my car per year. Again, I have all records of maintenance, and oil changes for this car. I have filed complaints with the BBB of TN, BBB of Colorado, Nissan Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission. My response from Nissan Extended Warranty Gold preferred is that they will not cover the rebuild of my Engine due to an after market oil change. Nissan is irresponsible, and dishonest. They do not back their cars, and sell warranties at the time of purchase that do not back their vehicles, and repairs. I have had a major mechanical problem with this car, and NISSAN SIMPLY PUT DOES NOT CARE.

2014 Altima SL V6 - New transmission at 11k still has issues. They will tell you they dont have a problem with transmissions but mine shutters at 20-30 and 57-70, very disappointed in Nissan! Offered to let CEO wife drive it for a week or even a engineer or their vendor who makes transmission! 22k and its a lemon! Also own a 2015 Pathfinder! 1k miles transmission shudders. Now 8k miles and will be trading it in on another brand. 2012 Nissan Altima, purchased new, runs like a new one! 100k miles. 1999 Nissan Altima 96k miles runs great! So if you can see, they have a transmission problem and are only replacing if it sets off a code! So the shudder is a normal feature they should advertise in their commercials. Stay away from brand until they get issues fixed! Im done with Nissan.

2011 Nissan Juke: So far I have had to turn my car in for 2 recalls. One was the engine and the second was the timing belt. The second time they had to fix my car. They told me they would be keeping it for 4-5 days! This wouldnt be a problem if they would give me a loaner car. However, they dont give out loaners unless you have 70,000 miles or less on your car. What? Why? My car only has 80,000. The only reason my car is in the shop is because of their faulty manufacturing and recall. The Town Center Nissan in Kennesaw, GA serviceman said I would have to call Nissan headquarters in order to get the rule overruled. OK... whatever.I call them and then it takes a day for them to get back to me to say they refuse to help me because I didnt buy the extended service warranty. Well, if I would have known what a piece of crap car and company I was buying from (I wouldnt have made the purchase) I would have bought the warranty. I asked kindly for them to make an exception because I am a good customer AND I am right at the line. Still they refused and had no other response except to say, You didnt buy the extended service warranty. What are you trying to do Nissan? NO Customer Service? Teach me a lesson about buying extended service warranties?! Its not enough to be a customer who spent 18,000 on your faulty product?! This will be the LAST Nissan I own.

Myself and a few family members of mine have driven nothing but Nissans for the past several years. My moms first Nissan was an 01 Altima. She drove it for 5 years and 230k miles with nary an issue. Her next vehicle was an 06 Sentra. Another five years, another 230k miles with no issues. Her current vehicle is a 2011 Sentra that has 215k miles. The only major repair has been the crank sensor. She had such good luck with Nissans I decided to purchase a used Versa Hatchback. It had 26k on it when the ex and I purchased it. I commuted with it for three years and traded it in at 140k miles (due to personal issues) with no issues.I drove a 13 Versa for a year until I was rear ended and it was totaled by a drunk driver. I accrued 52k miles on it with no troubles. After that I got a 14 Sentra 6 SPD. I drove it for a year and accrued 45k miles on it with no issues. I found myself needing a truck so I traded it in for a Frontier. Ive had it for two months and 8k miles and am extremely happy with it. I plan on keeping it for a long time. The point is you will occasionally get the troubled anomaly, but all in all Nissan makes a good product.

I purchased a pre-owned 2013 Nissan rouge 8 months ago. Very recently after driving for an hour when I get to a sign stop or an intersection, the car does not accelerate no matter how hard I hit the gas pedal. Cars behind me start honking, cussing, and I know that one of these days Im getting into an accident. Im waiting for the Consumer Affairs specialist to call me. I already took the car to an authorized Nissan service center and the mechanic confirmed its the CVT transmission. The car has 79k miles, no warranty and the extended warranty that Nissan offers does not include my VIN. I hope to get positive news from the specialist and Nissan will be paying for the repair cost or else I will have to file a lawsuit. Ive read so many complaints about this car and for Nissan to not take action, it is a shame, perhaps an accident, a lawsuit will make Nissan to take proper action to protect its customers.

2009 Nissan Altima Transmission - I just received a call from an Ashley and she said at this time Nissan couldnt offer any type of reimbursement for my transmission. Im just curious to know if they even took into consideration that I took my car to Nissan to have it looked at because the transmission was going into safe mode when it would get hot. We put it on the machine and there were no codes that came up on the transmission so I went ahead and had them change the fluids and filter and whatever it is they do for a transmission service. I leave the dealership and I smell fluid but thought nothing of it. I drive my 60 miles home and the next morning my husband drives his 48 miles to work. When I go outside to take my daughter to school there is a big puddle of transmission fluid in my drive way. I call my husband and when he gets to car after work sure enough there is a puddle of transmission fluid under my car.I called the dealership and they waited till 6 oclock for my husband to drive the car another 50+ miles to see what was going on. Turns out a hose had split and leaked out the transmission fluid. They fixed the hose put transmission fluid back into my car and washed out from underneath car because it was covered in fluid. Then almost 2 months later my cars transmission has all these codes and I need a new one. I didnt ask for the full amount I just feel like Nissan should provide the customer service that they say they will. Theres been numerous problems with the 2009 Nissan and thats why they extended the transmission warranty and the steering lock box which went out in my car and left me and my daughter stranded and a tow bill. I just feel like Im being done unfair and put in a financial situation for servicing my car. I mean would the transmission of went out if it didnt leak out the fluid after the service? I tried calling her back and even left a voicemail but she still hasnt returned my call. I also read the letter online where Kevin Martin said that they were trying to make the repair affordable if car was out of warranty. I just feel Ive been done unfair considering the incident with my car after the transmission service.

My Terrano 11s alternator went down and so I contacted my local garage who after ringing round said that the part would cost a massive £130-00 inc VAT. The part would take a couple of days as this was a Friday. I thought that I would also try to see if I could speed things up a little by contacting my local Nissan dealer, Nissan Bradford (Bristol St Motors), they also said that it would take a few days and the cost would be ONLY £1300-00, yes £1300-00. When I complained all I got was that Nissan set the cost and thats all there was to it. Is it that the warranty was different? NO. Both had 1 years warranty. Is the Nissan part made of Gold? No. It is in my opinion that They are BOTH profiteering.

I purchased the new 2016 Titan XD Platinum... 62k. Within 30 days they offered the 2017 with a standard 5 year 100k warranty and a rebate of $4500 on the 2016s. After contacting Nissan, I was given 1000 Nissan points which doesnt even cover the cost of a warranty extension to match what is standard on the 2017. As for the rebate, I was given an analogy using Walmart as their example about things going on sale. Nissan offered no help for the loyal customer, but big discounts for potential customers. Seems a bit backward to me. Nissan wants to be respected like Honda and Toyota but lacks the substance and customer understanding to be a tier 1 player. To add insult to injury, now Im hearing that there are turbo issues with the diesel motors. Save yourself the disappointment by staying clear of Nissan.

After reading all the poor reviews on NMAC, it made me so afraid that I was thinking about trading in the Nissan I bought yesterday for a Honda or Toyota! The complaints seemed to say NMAC is eager to ruin Nissan customers credit, wants Nissan customers to pay for NMACs general incompetency, refuses to correct their own mistakes, and employs illegal or dishonest business methods. Thank you all for posting. We, who finance through NMAC, will need to be extra careful and not to expect decent business dealing from NMAC. We should document everything in case some guy from an attorney group actually experienced NMAC ways and wanted to start something against the big guy for their arbitrary and wrongdoing against customers. My experience at the dealership finance dept for NMAC did not go well because the guy did not explain the finance at all. When asked, he just said it is zero percent at 36 months; pointing at the monthly payment and read the inserted terms off a printed contract. He hurried out a lot of paperwork and wanted me to sign off on each of them. The consumer protection law should have required the finance person to explain in detail on what finance rate and duration of the loan, and if the rate will be changed. The consumer will then sign off acknowledgement by writing in essence the interest rate, length of loan, fixed or variable rates, terms on possible penalties, and anything that may increase the cost of the loan. That is more real of a protection than to have consumer sign acknowledgement papers that basically is to protect the finance company.Lets hope Nissan will change and correct NMACs ways to reflect Nissan as a company it wanted to build up to. Lets hope that NMAC is not out to get Nissan buyers who finance through them. If NMAC is that bad as reviewed and people are paying more than they agreed to, why is NMAC and Nissan still allowed to continue their obviously wrong practice without consumers joining forces to protest?

2013 Nissan Rogue CVT transmission, The vehicle loses power due to transmission overheating. Going at a rate of speed over 60 MPH on the interstate in heavy traffic and completely losing power is very dangerous. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs with this complaint and after a review they are willing to cover 50% of the cost to place a cooler in the transmission. I did purchase the extended warranty for this vehicle but because this is not an original part the warranty will not cover the cooler. Nissan has had many many complaints with this same issue but still only willing to cover half the cost to repair. If Nissan requires this additional part on the vehicle in order for the valve cover to be replaced because of the overheating, then they should cover 100% of the cost!!! I am very dissatisfied with this vehicle and Nissan. This is a very dangerous problem with the vehicle. Its a problem Nissan should fix especially with all the complaints they are getting with this particular CVT transmission. I am very shocked and disappointed with Nissan for not fixing this problem.

I dropped off my car Monday, 8/1 Nissan Service Dept. for replacements & repairs that I waited for one month due to my front end collision car accident. I spoke Carrie Service Advisor, Tuesday, 8/2 and she was so nice saying everything is going to be done as we went over the repair list and I told her that I would like to speak to Mark the Tech when I come to pick up my car on Thursday, 8/4. She agreed. I went to the front service desk and asked to speak to Mark. Carrie comes instead with an attitude like what is it. She says he’s helping someone. I told her I would wait for him (My insurance company Hartford paid them to do the repairs and the extension repairs).I had to ask for alignment after they said everything was repaired. So only then did they notice the R/F camber and FRT Cross Camber was damage. Mark told me that he took it out for a ride and he thought it was ok instead of performing an alignment. Back to Carrie, she walked me out to my car and I asked her about the replacement on the driver seat belt which has too much slack and not enough tension. She said they replaced it but it turns out to have the very same problem as when I took it in to be exchanged. Carrie and I both sat in the driver seat and it wouldn’t lock. So Carrie gets a Tech and he sits in the seat and it doesnt work for him either. It wouldnt lock with even a rapid pull, and the new repair order said “new belt works fine” (I don’t think it was replaced – same problem). So the Tech says to me that the original manufacturer belt should never have locked, only the passenger side does for Child Seats (I couldn’t believe he said that to me. No one puts young toddler in passenger seat). Then the Tech says to me, “Believe me if you ever get in another accident the belt will work”. This statement to me is NOT ACCEPTABLE nor does it make me feel any BETTER. Why is it that the passenger seat locks and that was replaced the same time as the drivers seatbelt. So end result is that my seatbelt is no different than when I dropped the car off on Monday, 8/1 to be replaced as promised. I believe Nissan is putting my life in danger. I do not feel protected. The tech said to me that I need to get over the fear from my car accident.I explained to Carrie and the Tech that I don’t feel secure or safe without the seat locking. So Carrie says to me to call 1-800- Nissan. And Carrie and the Tech walked away from my car. As I began to drive off the parking lot with amazement, the Tech ran out with a flyer explaining Seat Belt Function Stationary Check. It reads: Grasp the shoulder webbing and pull forward quickly. The retractor should LOCK and prevent the belt from extending further. And this action new happened.I went home and I called another car dealership and they said it should lock at least when I bend forward. Can you please HELP me - is this a faulty seatbelt and I would just like to talk to the tech Mark who did the work on my car accident. I have some questions & concerns about my alignment. I was to get a 4 wheel full alignment and they did a Thrust Angle Alignment, is that partial or full alignment. I would like a print out of the alignment before and after to see the results. I need to know if my car frame is ok. I asked for copies of the paperwork that I signed and the person at the service desk wouldnt do it me. They gave me the GUEST COPY. I would like copies for my Insurance Records.

My dad bought me my first car back in 2016. It was a pre-owned 2012 Versa straight from the dealership with about 60K miles. For the first two years it was great. In fact the best thing this car can offer is the fuel economy. But would I recommend it? NO. The car is extremely light, the doors sound like cheap hollow metal, doesnt even come with sun visor mirrors for Petes sake. You WILL feel unsafe in this car. Fast forward to 90K miles and the car started showing problems accelerating, the air conditioning would blow hot air EVERY 3-4 months (have gotten it fixed about 5 times now). Now that Im on about 103K miles the front dash starts violently rattling when parked, and the worst part, I cannot go faster than 60MPH without the car wobbling side to side and feeling as if the wheels are going to pop off. Since as long as I can remember getting the car it has always has the check engine light on AND the tire pressure light (despite inspecting, rotating and replacing tires, it just comes back on) and the check engine does go away after a service and then lights up immediately after. So, Nissan, IS THERE A RECALL OR WHAT! There have been lawsuits and a class action settlement open for CVT transmission problems, yet when I went TODAY to the dealership they said they dont have an open recall and I would have to pay it all out of pocket then handle it with the company for reimbursement or possibly an offer to get the car back. How about no? I will not be paying $5,000 to then SEE if Nissan will deal with the issue. The car isnt even worth 5 grand!!!

In August of 2014 I purchased a year end Model Altima, my trade was a 2011 Nissan rogue for which I still owed 13000 on. I was given more than I owed on the trade. The sale from this point upon hindsight was extremely sketchy. There was no negotiation on the price of the new car. They simply presented you with 3 payment plans and dollar amounts for repayment so as the price of the vehicle was never mentioned. (There was zero negotiation.) We were just simply taken advantage of because of the excitement we had of owning the new vehicle... Forward to today, we are looking to turn the 2 vehicles we own into 1 vehicle but upon looking up the value of the Altima we would be 7000 under water with its current value. Almost impossible. I can see a thousand or 2 but 7 is just wrong and this dealership is just extremely bad and sketchy. If I were you, I would look elsewhere or consider yourself married til your final payment with what you buy from them. They will prey on you and take advantage of you through their sales tactics. Its sad. They should look to make good on bad deals that people like me call them out on!!!

I purchased my new Nissan in 2001. I bought it outright from a dealer in NJ. I have had several major problems with this truck since I purchased it. The first was the gas tank rusting and emitting fumes in the cab. Every time I filled the tank the smell was terrible inside and outside the cab. I contacted Nissan several times and they refuse to do anything at all. This cost over a $1000.00 dollars. A year later my oil pan rusted badly and was ready to fail and I had that replaced. That cost $900.00. My electric blue paint started peeling on the side of the truck for no reason at all and continues peeling. If I choose to have it repainted that will probably be $2000.00. I wont ever purchase another Nissan and I encourage anyone who is thinking of buying one, DONT!! You will be very disappointed. They dont care about their product or customer service. In two words, they suck!!!

I bought a new 2018 Versa S plus in July. It gets good gas mileage and looks good. That’s where the good ends... The bad, The CVT transmission has an intermittent issue where it vibrates or shudders when coming to a stop. Dealer cannot find an issue. The main seal where engine meets transmission is seeping oil. The dealer refused to acknowledge it was oil (called it a liquid) and said Nissan will not cover repair unless it is dripping on the ground! Really???I’ve had my oil changed twice, both times at two different Nissan dealerships. Both times they overfilled oil. First time they pumped 5 qts into a car in which the owners manual states 3.75 qts and had to drain some out. The 2nd time they put in 4 qts and had to drain some out. The incompetence in these authorized Nissan dealerships is bewildering!I’ve had three 27 point inspection and not one mention of the oil that is leaking from main seal. The green box is checked for leaks underneath car! I will be changing my own oil going forward and saving receipts. At least I know it will be done right... I will not purchase another Nissan product based off of my experience with the brand and incompetent service centers. I will definitely be selling this car before warranty is expired.

Never ever will I buy another Nissan. Let me share my experience with you.
Never ever will I buy another Nissan. Let me share my experience with you. I was happy to lease my new Xterra last fall (8 months ago). However, they never sent me billing info or statements; yet, they began harassing phone calls immediately. I mean 8-10 calls per day and mostly from people that spoke very broken English. I would state that no payment book was ever sent nor any statement sent to my address. This was the case for the first three months. And yet, the harassing phone calls continued as well as late payment fees. I even drove to and spoke with the general manager at the Nissan dealership where I leased the vehicle. He stated that they had had many complaints about Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp from customers. My newest issue was this month when I moved into a new home and was also traveling for work (June 2012). Because so much was going on, I forgot to send out the payment the first of the month, and the harassing phone calls began immediately. Im not talking 3-4 weeks late. Im talking 7-10 days late and phone calls all day, every day, including weekends. I called Nissan to pay for this month and next and they told me that I have almost $500 in toll-booth violations I have to pay. This puts me over the edge. One, I use toll highways maybe once or twice a month. If that, two, I have EZ Pass and it comes right out of my account. After speaking to several reps who speak very limited English, I am put on hold for 20 minutes and am eventually disconnected. I called back and went through the entire experience again and finally got to speak with a supervisor. I tried to explain my situation after again giving all my info (which takes an eternity) and the supervisor begins talking over me from the very first moment, arguing and questioning everything I am saying. She will not listen to anything I say and tried to argue with me, basically calling me a liar. This continues until I can take no more and I snapped.Advice: regardless of how much you like the Nissan vehicle you are looking at purchasing, dont buy a Nissan. I have owned dozens of cars and have never ever had a negative experience like this from day one. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Most unprofessional people/organization I have ever had to deal with!

Let me start off by saying, I just came back from overseas, and I am now stationed in Fort Stewart, GA. I am looking into purchasing a brand new Nissan Altima. I searched online and made a few stops. I had stopped by your Hinesville store, and saw a car I wanted. I asked them to give me the write up, because I wanted to go through my own bank. A guy there, who said he was the manager, said he would get the pricing together, and give me a call back. I never got any calls, only one from someone named Julie, and she does not know what she is doing. She had no clue I was just waiting for the price. Then, the internet manager from there called me, and I told him that I just got a phone call from his co-worker, and I think no one really wants to sell me a car. On 10 November 11, someone ran my credit with out my permission. I told them up front if I were to purchase a car, I would not go through Nissan. I am not aware what the law is for that, but I am looking into that now. Next, your Savannah store call me (Steven **). He seemed up front, and seemed as if he wanted to really help me. I told him I live about an hour away, and I didnt want to go up there and go through what I did at Hinesville. So we stopped by, and I showed him the car I wanted, and told him all I need was the write up to send to my bank.He talked to his manager, and he came over to speak with me. I explained to him why I wanted to go through my own bank, and he was so rude and had such an attitude. I understand Nissan will make more money if we go through them, but what he wasnt trying to hear is that, I may not get approved through you guys. So Steven told me that his computer was not working, but he would email me the write up, so I can send it to my bank. I got an email Saturday saying, he can send it to me, but we would have to come back. I dont understand why the manager just couldnt give it to us right then and there. I dont live right up the corner, to drive over there, to pick it up. This service is so unprofessional and I dont understand why I have to be treated like this. Is it because I am a woman? Your Hinesville store made me sit there for over an hour, while I watched him help other men. In the mean time, I had 2 infants, and my sister-in-law waiting in the car, right in their face. I have been out of the states for a long time, but I know that this kind of service is not acceptable. Here I am, a woman fighting for someones freedom, who doesnt even have the respect to help me. I am serious about buying a car and they are not serious about selling.I did not allow anyone to run my credit. I told them more than once, I would not go through Nissan. I will be looking into consequences for something like this. I feel like I was discriminated for being a woman. I also feel like someone blew me off, because I didnt want to finance through Nissan.

I leased a Nissan Leaf. I am very happy with the car; but after several attempts to initiate auto debits, NMAC began withdrawing payments from my bank account. But they never let me know that they considered my payments late. They never wrote to me to explain the situation. I only found out when I tried to refinance my mortgage that I had three late payments on my credit report. They respond to my letters with form letters that have nothing to do with my situation.

I bought a Nissan as my first vehicle because my mother always had a Nissan. Her mother and father always had a Nissan. When it came time for me to buy a vehicle, I wanted to go with someone I could trust, who always provided quality cars and service. Is that a thing of the past? My 2011 Nissan Cube with a CVT transmission is a piece of junk! After just 5 years and 72000 miles the CVT needs to be replaced. The dealership is asking $5000 for the repair. More than Ive been able to save since buying my first car.Since this happened Ive found out about their 2015 lawsuit, and the warranty extension for 2010 cubes. The CVT is still a safety hazard, but after talking to them I found out that denying theres a problem, and me help, is more important than maintaining a generational chain of Nissan customers and loyalty. An auto manufacturer I can trust with my life is worth generational loyalty. When they know their CVTs have a problem, I know they have a problem, the entire internet knows they have a problem, then the only thing I want to do is pay my car off and find a new manufacturer I can trust, and be loyal to... Because its obviously not Nissan.

I have received one statement in the 5 months I have now had the car. I have not received one email, correspondence, or phone call from these people. I was not late in January for a payment and they lied and reported to the credit bureaus that I never made a payment in January when I paid $465 on 1/10/13. And then on 2/1/13, I made another payment which was supposed to be on 1/31/13 and then 2 payments in February as well on 2/23/13. They suck as a car manufacturer and as a lien holder. There was a reason that I had never purchased a car from them after 10 years ago and now I know why. I had leased a car with them for 7 months and got rid of it and now, after 5 months, I am ready to get rid of this car too. The fact is that it is a piece of crap and so is the company. They suck and they need to fix their error on my credit report as because of their screw up, my credit score dropped 40 points and now I will lose the new home I am buying.

My husband has a 2014 Nissan Sentra, hes made all payments on time. Recently he started getting calls about him not paying. Hes even showed his proof of each payment. All they said was yeah it shows you paid, but we didnt get any payment and told him to pay more. Obviously someone there is pocketing the money or some crap cause hes been paying. Last week they had his car repossessed for no payment... But he has been paying. Hes even told them that he wont ever get another Nissan and asked them if they scam all soldiers like this? they hung up on him. He has yet to get his car back and they still wont admit that theres something wrong in the whole payment thing. They said he hasnt paid in 4 months. I have a 2015 Sentra and Im thinking of selling mine so I dont go through this crap too. NMAC are nothing but scammers.

My husband and I purchased a brand new 2014 Murano... a car we loved! It drives beautifully. Sadly, weve run into two separate issues multiple times. First, the drivers side visor breaks constantly!!!! We dont use it often but have replaced it several times. At first they were covered by our warranty, but now they want $185 for a new one. What???? And you cant find a used drivers side visor for anything. Not a single one at a junk yard (although the passenger side visors ARE available.)Then, our ac went out three times while under warranty (we live in AZ so no ac is brutal)! We had the compressor replaced three times. The third time we had a service agent say he would try to get us a brand new one (compressor). What the heck were they putting in before???? Also, my friend got a Murano. She had the exact same problem multiple times! A $40k car should NOT have these defects. (AND, while our Murano was in to have the compressor replaced, there were two times the dealership kept our car for multiple days without updating us on the status of the repairs.)Thank goodness we were still under warranty. Now our warranty has expired and Im afraid well run into the compressor issue again. I will be furious if that happens! We cant afford such expensive repairs, especially since the car has only had about 10-12k miles a year put on it. Well below average. As much as I love the look and feel of Nissan vehicles, we wont be buying another one. I have a Chevy that hasnt had any problems at all and its a 2015. Even our 2005 Dodge Ram has been amazing. Very few service needs other than the basics such as oil and filter maintenance, tire rotation, etc. I can count on one hand the number of times Ive written a negative review, but this situation warrants it.

I recently purchased a car from a Nissan Dealer and there was no mention about returning the car if you were not satisfied. I emailed the salesman who practically forced me to sign the deal and he has yet to respond. I was satisfied with the car until night time came and realized how important the extra features would have been. There are no power windows, no power locks, no light on the ignition keyhole, not even a mirror on the sun visor. Im basically paying for a 2015 glorified golf cart for the next 6 years. Im not saying I want to walk away completely from the deal because I know how much these clowns value their commission, but Id like to purchase a better car for the money.

Salesman Jose said my Nissan Sentra had 100K mile warranty, which included 12 free oil changes and car washes. The heated leather seats are not working properly, they turn on and off by themselves, the a/c has been replaced twice already, the brakes squeal. Several other issues with the brand new car. I will never purchase a Nissan vehicle again. They did not replace the seats as promised, they recanted on giving the 100K mile warranty, the 12 free oil changes and 12 free car washes. The repair center also said the man who sold us the vehicle no longer works for them and its normal for the brakes to squeal on a new vehicle. I told him that was not normal, that was poor manufacturing of products. I purchased a brand new Hyundai Sonata and never had that happen. These are unfair business practices and I feel like I was sold a lemon. I will never do business with them again.

I sent my payment in 10/12/2011. I got a call from Nissan saying, I was late with my payment. I have never been late in my life, and it upset me to the point I could not function the rest of the day. I tried to make a payment over the phone, and was hung up on by Jorge. I was put on hold by another, for 45 minutes. On top of a late charge, which was not my fault, I was charged a processing fee. I am on social security only, and every penny counts. I also told them I never got a statement for November. It took over 1 1/2 hours to resolve this. Needless to say, I am really upset. In August of 2010 I set up automatic payments for my newly purchased Nissan Rogue. All went smoothly for better than four years - then I get a call from Nissan Collections. The Nissan Collections agent informs me Im sixty days past due on my car payment and my response is, But Im signed up for automatic payments. I made full restitution immediately and was led to believe that the situation was not of my doing and that all would be corrected. Not so. Nissan attempted to blame my bank at first.Once I verified this wasnt true Nissan went into their standard defense mode - which is very well rehearsed. Nissan claims to have called me multiple times via their automated service, multiple times by an actual person, claimed to have left multiple voice-mail messages, and claimed to have left me at least one email regarding the ending of my automated payments. I did not receive any of what they claim - with the exception of the call I actually answered. My credit score went from 780 to just around 700 in the blink of an eye - and will cost me thousands over the life of the new mortgage Im applying for.Family, friends, and strangers will be sure to hear this story told over and over again. I want the world to know just how disappointed I am with this company. Correct your shamelessly faulty notification system and do right by loyal customers or you are doomed to fail. I do recall several apparently automated calls made to me around that time but there was nobody on the other end. After repeating hello several times I simply hung up. Is someone getting credit on a quota simply for dialing a number without answering it? Ill be contacting Comcast to see if they can do a search on this mystery email I supposedly received. Im paying off the last few month of my loan by check today. This will be the last Nissan I ever own.

I bought a 2008 Nissan Rogue brand new on Christmas Eve of 2007. The transmission went out on the car in July of 2010, at 100,000. I was almost hit and killed by an 18-wheeler. Nissan claims the transmission fell apart and after several months, said they would replace it at no cost. In February of 2012, my Rogue began to show the same signs of failure that the first one did and I took it to the dealership once again to have it inspected. Approximately 8 days later, the service department informed me that the transmission would in fact need to be replaced again with only 66,000 miles on it. I phoned Consumer Affairs and they have been no help! I have written Mr. Carlos Ghosn a certified letter and he has been no help! Why won’t Nissan just admit my car is defective and make an attempt to remedy the situation?

I came across the mission of your company on your website. Since months I have serious and justified doubts on this mission. Let me explain: My Nissan Trail (1 year old - warranty) that I bought last year in January 2016 in Windhoek, Namibia has been under repair since 27 August 2016 until today (!) after an engine jamming. A long story of promises by the local Nissan dealer has been culminating in a statement by the dealer last Monday, 6 March 2017: We are sorry the engine has no compression and we have to bring it back to repair to the engine workshop. So I am waiting now for more than 7 months for my car with now not any prediction when it is going to be ready. And if it is could Nissan warrant that it is functioning? Engine repair is not standard anymore in Europe, but is overtaxed to customers in Africa. All this questions and more in detail I addressed in a written complaint to Nissan South Africa with not any answer so far. I hope you can address this mismatch between your mission and my experience as soon as possible. A frustrated customer.

Volume on radio out of control. This happened on the day I picked up the car from the dealer and it has been back to the dealer at least 4 times for repair. On 2 other occasions a repairman came to my home to fix it. Ownership of a Nissan is synonymous with dissatisfaction. On March 25, 2019, I purchased a new Nissan Frontier from Jenkins Nissan, Leesburg, FL. After 30 months of ownership and only 14,058 miles, it had an obvious manufacturing defect. Namely, the paint started peeling off at nearly every weld spots on the fenders and the bed rail of the vehicle. They did determine that this is a “warranty issue.” On August 11, 2021, Jenkins Nissan Leesburg, Florida service personnel told me the peeling was indeed caused by the weld spots, but they did nothing except tell me to take the Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida because they (Jenkins Nissan) didnt have a body shop. I contacted Nissan Customer Services on August 15, 2021 to determine where I should take the vehicle to fix the manufacturing defect. On August 24, 2021, I was finally contacted by *** from Nissan Customer Services and she told me to take it to any Nissan Dealer to file the report to the Warranty Department for this region. On August 31, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Clermont, Florida. Reed Nissan Clermont sent me to Reed Nissan Orlando because they didnt have a body shop either. On September 7, 2021, I had an appointment with Reed Nissan Orlando, Florida. They inspected my car, took pictures and told me that they were filing a report and that I would hear something that day, fact is their words were, you should hear something within an hour. That hear something within an hour comment has now turned into several weeks. Finally on their advice on October 7, 2021, I took my Nissan Frontier to Reed Nissan Orlando to get it repaired. Only, that didn’t happen because Reed Nissan failed to file the claim. After much pressure from me, Reed Nissan filed the report. Finally, on October 29, 2021 the Nissan Frontier was repaired. It took 79 (seventy nine) days from the time of my complaint to get the vehicle fixed., I believe the Nissan Frontier is a very competitive vehicle but the three Nissan dealer’s LACK knowledge of filing a warranty issue claim is unacceptable. Had this been an engine failure or a transmission failure, I would have been without the vehicle for 79 days or 11 days shy of three months.

I purchased my 2015 Nissan Murano June 2015 because my family and I love the new body design, overall performance is nice, I wished I did not have to send a bad review. My problem is with the tires installed on this vehicle by Continental Tire, I first started noticing the problem around 25k miles; I noticed cracks and pieces of rubber are coming off tires. At 26,000 I contact Nissan customer service and Continental Tire with no success. This experience is leaving a bad taste of customer satisfaction by Nissan USA for next time I decide to buy another new vehicle. I do not think is fair that buying a $40k vehicle should need new tires before the 50 to 60k miles. I took my vehicle in to Mossy Nissan in Houston the dealership I purchased from, and I been told that Nissan denied any warranty on tires. I am in the auto service industry and I know the importance of maintaining ones vehicle so I rotate the tires twice year. When I first notice the problem I check the alignment thinking that it may be alignment issue but was not the case; in fact my front end tech explained that a new vehicle should not need an alignment unless it had been on an accident or in abused driving. Our familys vehicle is used for pleasure weekend driving, and week wife works 5 minutes from home; so most of regular city driving about 7,500 miles per year, other highway miles 3 to 4 trips to the Valley in the last 3 years.

Ive had a 2016 Nissan Titan XD for the almost a year now and have enjoyed the truck, however, I was recently in an accident and was in need for parts. I have been waiting on parts for over 2 months now with no promise of getting my part any time soon. Upon talking to Nissan I got some rehearsed spiel about the backorder and was given no information on where the part is, why its been backordered over 2 months or when I would get it. I have been paying rental car fees for the last month out of pocket because the insurance coverage of a rental expired so everyday Im out more money because they cant produce the part I need. Ive driven a Nissan for the last 20 years and have been satisfied until this problem arose. Not being able to get the necessary parts makes me not that interested in driving Nissans if Im going to have to deal with this kind of issue anytime, God forbid, I would be in a wreck or some other problem comes up. So if youre thinking of buying a Nissan just beware that this issue could also become your issue.

3 weeks ago I went to get my car check at my mechanic place. Everything was fine.. Week later as I was driving my transmission broke and I did drop off at my local Nissan dealership. Next day I got the phone call from Nissan - my transmission is done but Im lucky was still under warranty which was extended by Nissan because of a lot of cases of broken transmissions. Dealership said I will be free of charge (that was Friday). I had to wait 4 days for loaner car because Nissan needed to send approval - got it. Tuesday I receive phone call my subframe is broken and axle rubber is no good so they wont charge me for labor and axle, just for subframe 1100$. When I start to question them how come something is broken now when day before only transmission was for change and everything else was fine besides transmission on top of my check up week before, they started to be rude and give me wrong info every hour. End of story for now is they put everything back with new transmission but not axle anymore and frame - my point is I know its hard to prove if frame is broken or not before you take transmission but I did check up and everything was fine so all I want is meet half way so keep your fingers crossed. Definitely wont purchase NISSAN again and customer service is horrible. I know I can write whatever I want. They dont care anyway but I want people to know and be another one to show how bad they are.

I am the original owner of a 2006 Nissan Xterra. On Oct. 25, 2017 I took my Xterra in to be serviced as a preventative measure since I was recently informed of a radiator/transmission problem with the Xterra, Pathfinder and Frontier models 2005-2010. After speaking with my neighbor who also has a 2006 Xterra and replaced his radiator; I decided to have my radiator replaced as well (even though I experienced no problems with it) just so I could prevent any infusion of coolant into the transmission.Much to my surprise Nick called me with the bad news that damage was already done & would cost $6,800 to replace the radiator, transmission and fluids. This also included labor costs. Being fearful of a potential problem I did not want to wait 2 weeks for both the arrival of a new transmission & the mechanics return from vacation; I chose to take the vehicle to another shop. At shop #2 the mechanic informed me there was nothing wrong with the transmission and could not see what the mechanic at Nissan (Greg) claimed to have found; e.g. leakage of coolant and lots of rust in the transmission and on the fluid stick. He did however, find a petroleum based substance in the radiator and was his opinion that oil was placed in the coolant.Upon having the radiator flushed & bypassed from the coolant entering the transmission, replacing the thermostat & radiator cap (due to damage of the rubber seals from the oil) the cost was $677.84 with labor included; an expense I should never have had to endure. On Nov. 8, 2017 I spoke with Jack **, MGR and shared the findings of the 2nd mechanic. In a nutshell he basically told me he could not help me and stood by his mechanic’s findings. He went on to say “Sorry for your loss” and “If the vehicle was running good at this time he recommended that I sell it”. I have always trusted Nissan to provide excellent care and stand by their products. I have had my vehicle serviced only with Nissan for the past 11 yrs; with Montrose Nissan for the past 7 years. I am sorry to say “they have certainly dropped the ball this time” and me being the loyal compliant customer will not be returning from this point on.

Dec 8 bring in to let them do adjustment. Dec 9 display/screen does not work again. Dec 13 called to follow up, do not know when the dealer will fix this problem. Big headache, maybe I got a lemon.

We had bought two Muranos from the same Nissan dealership without any problem. In 2010, I needed a smaller vehicle for my increased commute so we bought a Rogue. Transmission failed at 78K; replacement failed after another 46K miles. They will not cover this 2nd failed transmission. Their office of consumer affairs was unprofessional and dismissive. And we HAD been in the Nissan family for over 10+ years! Completely unprepared for this experience, as we thought Nissan would most definitely care and would most definitely replace this clearly defective AND DANGEROUS faulty transmission. How wrong we were! We no longer have any accolades to give this company, and will deter family and friends from buying from this dishonest company. The transmission is dangerous as gears would slip on the highway, stall at intersections, and decelerate when trying to merge into traffic. And they KNOW this transmission is defective. Weve never had such a scary driving experience on the road as well as such an outrageous experience with a customer service HA! department anywhere else. We are done with them unless they replace this transmission with no cost to us!

I purchased a pre-owned certified 2013 Nissan Pathfinder about 1.5 years ago and it was a terrible purchase. I have spent a few thousands of dollars on this car on top of having purchased an extended warranty. There were at least two recalls on this car that were addressed after I purchased the car, two window motor failures within the first year, the compressor from the AC is in the process of being replaced. I will say that these repairs were covered; however, I have had to pay a few thousands for items that were considered normal wear and tear which some items I didnt expect to have to cover so soon after purchasing the car and considering it was a certified car. Overall, I am so disappointed in my purchase and I do not plan on owning another Nissan car again.

Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buy
Nissan complaint: Where do I begin, well let me start by saying the car buying experience was amazing and the sales representative was amazing. Fast forward 71 days and the nightmare begins. So I bought a brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue in January and of course it was still cold. However as it warmed up and I needed to use the AC I realized the drivers vents would blow warm or room temperature air while the passenger side would be freezing cold even when set to the exact same temperature. I called Jack Ingram Nissan in Montgomery Alabama where I purchased my car and advised them of the issue. They set an appointment for the following week for me to bring the car in to be fixed, or so I thought. When I dropped my car off I was told even though I brought in an SUV they would only be able to put me in an Altima, though I was disappointed I went with it. To my surprise when I reached the vehicle I was to use it was filthy! Being that we are still in the midst of a pandemic I went back in and refused to take that vehicle. They then Provided me with another Altima. The next day I called 3 or 4 times to see what had been done to fix my car. Finally around 3 pm I received a call saying they could not detect any issue and that I could come and pick my car up. I was told that the temperature shown was not per vent, but the temperature in the entire car. This didnt seem accurate because one of the selling points was the dual climate control, but it was a Friday and due to the size of my family I couldnt afford to be in the loaner car any longer. So I went and picked up my car... I tried to chalk it up to maybe the car didnt do for them what it had been doing with me. When I pulled out of the dealership to head home, the drivers side was blowing heat to the point that I began to sweat. I made a U-turn and went back to the dealership and demanded to speak with someone to show them what was happening and see another vehicle like mine do the same. After waiting 15 minutes, the representative came out and witnessed exactly what I was referring to and to my surprise he seemed surprised which makes me feel like my car hadnt even been looked at in the 2 days it had been there. We then sat in another Rogue to see if this is indeed normal and what do you know the other car did NOT have the same issue proving that this is not normal for this make and model. They sent another representative out who appeared to be a manager and he proceeded to insult my intelligence by insisting it was operating as it should. I told them both that I was not satisfied and I would like it fixed. His solution was for me to turn my driver temp down and passenger temp up which made both sides blow the same temperature. I advised them that that was only a bandage not a solution. I bought a new car and I expected it to operate as it should. The representative then offered to reopen the ticket and assured me that he would be reaching out to me with a solution by Wednesday. WELL TODAY IS THURSDAY! No word from Jack Ingram. I called Nissan yesterday evening and filed a consumer complaint, the rep called today and said that Jack Ingram would be calling me within the hour to set up a time for my car to be reevaluated. That was 4 hours ago. At this point I dont know what to do, but I do know that I will never do business with Nissan and definitely not with Jack Ingram if they do not resolve this matter! On a lighter note the sales team there is amazing and after speaking with the sales manager. I will hopefully be able to have a SUV as a loaner whenever the service team can get it together and FIX MY CAR!

Cliff notes: No email available to communicate with the corporate office concerning warranty work. You have to use a call center that is slow, cumbersome, and not proactive. Wish we would have stuck with purchasing tried and true Chevy C2500, Ford F250, or RAM 2500 diesels. We purchased a 2018 Titan XD Pro4X (Diesel) truck for our small construction company. The specs matched our needs though the reviews were not as strong as we would have liked the price was appealing and the reviews were not terrible. The size was more comfortable than the C2500 and F250 we have in service. At 30K miles we received both ABS and 4WD warnings after traveling 300+ miles that day. The engine was fine just no 4wd or cruise control. The dealership advised we were fine to continue our trip and to come in when back in town or we could go to another dealership near us if time allowed. Over night the error reset. The dealer said to bring it in when back in town the computer would let them know what need to be repaired on the drive train. On our return trip the error happened again at around 350 miles and again over night it reset and was fine. The trip to the dealership was inconclusive and I was advise to drive around until the error happened again even though that might be over 300+ miles as 5 things might be causing the problem and they could not test each of those components to rule them out. That effort was too intense for them. Thus the call to corporate to report the dealer would not take action on what my local mechanic found on his diagnosis machine. What a run around. The non dealer shop received the P1819 Shift ACT CIR Malfunction detected in the transfer motor circuit error and advised that should be too touch for a certified mechanic to figure out. Finally I have convince the dealership they needed to do more for me and they are taking the truck back in and are prepared to trace back the error and replace the transfer case in the event it is the culprit. This was after I paid our local mechanic to diagnosis the problem and the local service manager had twice refused to perform further repairs until the truck failed again. The only response I can get from Corporate Nissan is to call them. When calling I am referred back to the dealer and am told they have no access to the dealerships efforts though we have Nissan Connect which reads what maintenance and system status in on the truck. Shame on us for choosing Nissan.

I have a Service Contract with Nissan and is a joke. At 15,000 miles I was told that Regular routine issues like replacing an air filter was not covered. I was at Nissan for an oil change and after they were finished the Service Department presented me with a $300 bill. Air Filter, Brake Fluid; minor items. Then the Tires which is really the reason why I am writing. NISSAN ROTATED MY TIRES AND NEVER PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT!!! I have spoken to at least 3 experts that informed me the tires were worn from the inside out. How CRAZY is this!!! I had to replace my tires for $700 just recently and have the bill now to submit the highest person that runs NISSAN. I want to be compensated for a pro-rate on my tires. I will pursue this matter with Nissan until I cant talk anymore. Literally! The sad part is that I am disabled and putting 2 sons through College so they get a decent chance in life to chase their dreams. I cannot afford these tires. Another sad issue is my Parents always owned American made Cars and I talked them into buying a Nissan Rogue and then a Sentra. How Sad! I want help with compensation on my tires. I have all the documentation.

We purchased our family dream car and recently noticed an issue. Online I read the likeliness of the CVT transmission being the issue that many customers are experiencing so we took it to our local dealer expecting the recall. The recall covers several years worth of Nissan car makes and models, but did not include ours. At 88,000 miles we were told the entire transmission needed to be replaced, with a cooler for the transmission too. The grand total quote of nearly $5500. We only owe $4000 on the car. A hard working family of 4 now has a family dream car that they cannot afford to fix. I read online calling consumer affairs would be a joke, it was. I called and waited the 24 hours for Nissan Consumer Affairs to tell me that there was nothing they could do.What this customer heard, my family hears, what everyone I know will hear is that Nissan does not stand by their cars. Nissan does not care about my family. Only 88,000 miles and we have a dead car, along with a sorry theres nothing we can do. Obviously there is a problem with the CVT transmission that needs to extend to the 2011 models too, Nissan. Very disappointed.

Shame on Nissan! I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. My steering lock control unit went out and even though there was a petition to get this part recalled I had to pay for the part. It was past the warranty, but I was told that if I took my car to a dealership, I would get a fair review of my case by Megan, the regional consumer affairs specialist, in hopes of warranty assistance. She denied my claim in part because my 2009 Altima had not been to a dealership since 2011, implying that I was not a loyal customer. Why would I take my car to a dealership if there isnt any repairs that need to be done on it? I have owned FIVE , Nissans and bought 1 brand new car and 1 used car from Suntrup, not to mention personal recommendations. I have paid Nissan upwards of $40,000. If that isnt customer loyalty I dont know what is. Complaints have filed with the BBB, FTC, and NHTSA.

Nissan Rouge with severe problem and poor customer service. I have bought Nissan Rouge #VIN NO: **. I went for the first servicing on 04/20/16. They have done servicing and report states the car doesnt have any issues. I was facing problem with the car while driving around 70-75 miles/hour suddenly brake light was coming on the dashboard. I thought this is a safety issue and reported to Local Nissan Dealer Airport Nissan Cleveland on 5/16/16. They said they couldnt replicate the problem. And after that I have faced the same problem again and reached to the Airport Nissan on 07/06/16. This time with evidence. They have done the servicing and returned my car on 07/09/16, unfortunately one day only I have faced the same issue with that car. I am afraid Nissan has not taken this case seriously enough. Is this normal to happen with every Nissan car? Why this problem is keep on coming after 3 times of servicing. I am totally disappointed with Nissan Customer Service. Now whenever I am trying to press the brake the car is vibrating.

When I went to lease the 2017 Nissan Leaf the salesman made it sound like it was great. You would get 100 mi per charge and they would give you a card that for one year you could use at any EZ GO charging stations to get your 30 minute charge which should bring the charge to approx 100 miles. They neglect to tell you a few choice things like if you are freezing or too hot and turn on the air conditioning and/or heat you immediately loose approx 17 mi. Also, if you drive on the highway you are not regenerating energy and eating it at a fast pace. Other tidbits they left out are that contrary to what I was told the charging stations are everywhere and easy to find. NOT TRUE. THERE IS ONLY ONE, in all of Stockton. Many times I go to charge and there are waiting lines... Even from people who are not Nissan purchasers, but BMW or Chevy. So you have to wait for them to finish and then charge your car which takes approx 30 min...My latest distress happened today when I drove across town to charge. I repeatedly put charge in and followed instructions... But it did not work. I called EZ GO and was told that they had known about it for two days... That there were issues involving higher up approval and they could do nothing. Again this is the ONLY one in Stockton. Finally I went to the manager of Nissan Lithia... Raymond ** who was rude and acted like he did not want to help. I explained my problem and he said that the Nissan Chasers were actually owned and service by Nissan Corp. I asked him what I was supposed to do and he said google it and left. Very unhelpful man. I called Corporate and found out that the dealerships are indeed the owners of these and that I had been given misinformation... Oh imagine that-- and that they did have full responsibility over the chargers. I had also asked what I was supposed to do as I needed to travel and was afraid of running out of electricity. He said he didnt know and that I should google same. When I spoke to corporate they said that they would have recommended the roadside assistance program who will come out and tow you to the nearest working dealership and there would be NO charge. Any manager in his right mind would or should know this. Would I buy or lease a leaf again... Absolutely not and especially form Nissan Lithia. I have called Nissan Corp and reported same but have not received an answer. I am starting a class action lawsuit so if anyone wants to join me contact me at **. My attorney thinks we have a good case So if you were basically lied to to purchase this please contact the me at **.

I have experienced multiple major issues that required me to repair my car at a huge expense. These are issues that car owners should not experience during the timeframes that I have owned my vehicle. They have caused an extreme amount of stress and required a large amount of time to fix. I purchased my car new, direct from the Nissan dealer. Some of the issues I have experience is as follows. Right when I was leaving for the airport for my honeymoon, the key would not turn in the ignition and the car would not turn on. I almost missed my flight to the airport. Later, after major diagnosis, it turns out the pins in the ignition moved, which would not allow the key to turn. One entire summer, the engine temperature gauge would shoot up after I drove my car for 15 minutes. My engine would constantly overheat, the A/C would turn off, and I would have to pull over to cool my engine down. It turns out the radiator was malfunctioning, which was a very difficult problem to diagnose and required multiple assessments. My newest problem is that my key no longer works and Nissan wants to charge me $500 to get new keys because they have worn out. I contacted Nissan, asking for financial assistance because I believe that keys should last the lifetime of the vehicle. Nissan told me that because my car is outside of warranty, they are not legally obligated to help me. This shows me that Nissan does not care about its customers at all. For an issue like this, Nissan should fix a key outside of warranty. I have only owned my car for 6 years. I am no longer a loyal Nissan customer and will be purchasing my next car from another company. My dad has been trying to tell me to sell my car and I think he is right. I have had enough.

I bought my Maxima new back in 2005. I recently started having transmission problems. The car only had 51,000 miles. I took it back to the service department next to the dealer I bought it from in New Jersey. They confirmed the transmission needed to be replaced. They also found the timing chain needed to be replaced. The service guys said both should not have to be replaced so soon with the shape the car was in and the low mileage. I opened a case with Nissan North America. They basically said warranty expired, so too bad. Then they told me to take it to the dealer for possible trade in. They would take care of me. Yeah, right. They offered nothing for the trade. Sales knew about tranny and timing chain. New car deal was nothing special. This was second and last Nissan. I have since bought a Kia Optima.

I bought a 2005 Armada Nissan new. Among many other problems the latest was a crack in both exhaust manifolds that the dealership told me it would be about $3000 to fix. I got it done at my mechanic and saved. I got a hold of Nissan and told them that the manifolds were defective according to my mechanic and they knew it because the new ones were beefed up right where the old ones cracked. My lease was over and I turned in the vehicle, but Nissan and the dealers could not get together or work or cooperate on anything. Do I need an inspection? No, said Nissan because the dealership offered to buy the used car. According to the dealers, I do and they do it. Cool. They can inspect the vehicle when I turn it in. But then they dont, after all. NMAC and the dealership really jerk you around.During the lease, NMAC could not take my Visa for online payment, so I always had to send the check. After passing the inspection and escaping any costs, I was told Just turn in the vehicle, you have paid everything you owe. Three weeks later I was charged by NMAC almost $500 for a disposition fee! I have been a Nissan customer since 2001. I am pissed. I was considering leasing another Nissan in a few months. Screw that. Today, I do not want another Nissan vehicle ever. It started out that my A/C would not work if I was sitting still. We called Nissan service and asked them what it could be. They listed a few different things. And none of them were your transmission could be getting contaminated with radiator fluid. Then on Christmas, our heat stopped working. My father-in-law had my husband check the radiator fluid. It was low so they filled it up. And everything was fine. No one still had any idea what was going wrong. Then in March 2010, I went to pull out into traffic. My car had a hard time switching gears and picking up speed. It just suddenly happened it was driving fine. And then, nope not anymore! Thank the Lord I am one of those drivers who wants the road to be almost clear. Because if not, I would have had a bad accident. So then, I called some people. And at that time, no one still knew what was going on. We have some Nissan techs that are friends. So, I guess Nissan finds out the problem somehow, but they will not help anyone out. Even if you got all your services, this would not have been caught. Nissan needs to man up and fix these cars! I have called National Highway at 888-327-4236 and have made a complaint! Please everyone, do the same.

There are 76,000 miles on my Nissan Xterra. While attempting to pull out onto a roadway my vehicle lost power and would not accelerate to a normal speed. So thankful I was not in heavy traffic. After having two different local repair shops assess the vehicle, I found that Nissan used faulty radiators on certain year models that allowed fluid to leak into the transmission and destroy it. I contacted Nissan and ConsumerAffairs didnt think I had wasted enough of my time and money and told me to take it to a certified Nissan shop for a diagnosis before they would even consider helping... so I did. After waiting another week or two, they finally called me back to say they could not help because the vehicle was out of warranty. I pointed out that my vehicle only has 76,000 miles and the transmission issue was caused by an issue Nissan was well aware of (but had not recalled the vehicles to fix the issue). That didnt seem to matter. THE VERY LEAST THAT NISSAN SHOULD DO IS OFFER A DISCOUNTED PRICE ON A NEW TRANSMISSION. I will NEVER buy another Nissan.
