Infiniti Repair

Infiniti is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Nissan. Infiniti officially started selling vehicles on November 8, 1989, in North America. The marketing network for Infiniti-branded vehicles included dealers in over 50 countries in the 2010s. As of 2020, there were 25 markets served by new car dealers.

Automobile Repair

Infiniti manufactures cars that owners have come to trust. Even a trustworthy autos require occasional maintenance or repair, however. If you’re in need of Infiniti Auto repair from experienced professionals, your local Auto Helper can help.

The inability of transmission to get into gear
One main cause of a bad transmission is that your transmission might not be able to stay in gear. If your car does not move smoothly, this could be a clear sign that there could be a low transmission fluid amount. This low transmission fluid could be due to a leak, the gear shifter, the gear shifter cable, or the problem with the automatic transmission system’s valve body, causing your ‘Infiniti car won’t start’ problem.
Low Transmission Fluid - Secondly, your Infiniti car won’t start if the transmission fluid is too low to work correctly. This could be due to a transmission fluid leak, fluid contamination, or water intrusion during certain weather. Make sure you stay up to date with your transmission fluid level’s routine maintenance to prevent an expensive Infiniti transmission repair cost.
Transmission Slipping - Your Infiniti car won’t start if your transmission is slipping. The transmission slipping is caused by the pesky low transmission fluid, contamination of the transmission fluid, or the lack of routine maintenance in the transmission system.

Broken Engine Control Unit
The ECU is your car’s computer in charge of the various systems and functions, ensuring your vehicle runs smoothly. This engine control module controls actuators on the internal combustion engine to ensure the engine is running at an optimal level.
If there is an issue with your car’s ECU, you can lose power in your car. Typically, you will notice the check engine light on your dash. After this light goes on, you should go to a mechanic immediately to see the reason why your Infiniti car won’t start.
If you decide not to take your car to a mechanic, your car can accumulate more problems that can cause the Infiniti car won’t start condition. Plus, you can’t fix an ECU yourself to save some money. Your only option is to take it to a professional mechanic to avoid the car not starting in condition.

Empty Fuel Tank
This is a common occurrence that most people have experienced – you get distracted and forget to keep an eye on your fuel gauge. If you run out of fuel while driving, your engine can crank, but your car will not start.
Damaged Fuel Gauge – However, it might not be completely your fault. Another reason your car could run out of gas is if your fuel gauge isn’t working properly. Regardless of why you ran out of gas, you should still get your car checked by a mechanic to diagnose the correct problem and figure out why your Infiniti car won’t start.
Damaged Alternator - The alternator supplies your vehicle with a constant stream of electricity. If your car shuts off while driving, it is likely that your alternator has gone bad. A broken alternator will cut the power to your car, signaling this information to you by a flashing dashboard light or the engine suddenly shut off. If you pay attention to your car, you can notice an alternator going bad over time. Your car will begin receiving an intermittent amount of power, causing the Infiniti car won’t start condition.

Damaged Fuel System
The fuel pump supplies the engine with the correct amount of fuel for it to run properly. If the fuel pump is not working correctly, the engine won’t run, and it will shut off. If the fuel pump, fuel injector, or fuel filter are damaged, this can cause the Infiniti car won’t start.
Fuel Pump and Filter – Unfortunately for this fuel issue, there is no way around a broken or faulty fuel pump – you need to repair or replace the fuel pump. You also should check the fuel filter, as that could be the main problem. The fuel filter’s job is to clean the fuel going into the engine. If the filter is clogged, the fuel going into the engine will be impeded.
Fuel Supply Line – The last thing that could be faulty with the fuel system is the fuel supply line. This is how gas gets to the engine from the fuel tank supply. If the supply lines are broken or clogged, then there is no way for the gas to get to the engine. If the gas cannot get to the engine, your Infiniti car won’t start.

Gears Grinding
When your transmission grinds and the shifting gears are not working, this can be a condition that is directly related to the clutch not releasing, and the shift synchronizer rings inside the transmission being broken or damaged. Damage to the synchronizer and the clutch can easily cause the Infiniti not to start when turning the key in the ignition.

Faulty Crankshaft Position Sensor
This is possibly the most common cause when it comes to your engine cranking, but your car won’t start. If the crankshaft position sensor isn’t working properly, it can cause the car’s internal computer – the engine control unit – not to function correctly.
The engine’s computer is in charge of the crankshaft position sensor, so if it detects a problem, the check engine light will come on and the Infiniti car won’t start.

We have had so many problems with our 2013 JX35 and are so disappointed in the quality of this car. It started with airbag problems and being told by the service department that it was operating normally. We took pictures and videos of the way it was operating and still we were told it was working as it was designed to. Finally looked up recalls myself and found where a recall had indeed been issued. I called our service advisor and he was totally unaware of this. Sad that a customer has to bring such an important matter to the people we trust with servicing our cars. When Infiniti of Gwinnett obtained the new part, it was installed but we continued to experience the same problem. We took the car in again and they said they had made an adjustment and we should have no more issues with it. Nope, problem was still there. Again we took videos and pictures for them. We were informed that everything had been checked and it was working as it should. Frustrated, we bypassed the dealership and reported it directly to Infiniti. Infiniti did send a company engineer to look at it. When I met him at the dealership, he immediately started lecturing me as to the dangers of airbag deployment, how it was the last resort in a collision, etc. He even showed me a 5-minute video describing the danger. I again stated that I knew the airbag wasnt operating correctly because it would go on and off intermittently. He said it could be from the way we were sitting in the seat. Sounded a little ridiculous to me, as if they were just trying to make a different argument every time they were challenged. I said I would not drive the car unless it was fixed. He did some calibrations and we have had no problems since. Other issues with the car includes leak above drivers door (tube running down from sunroof was not connected at the factory). Rubber on passenger side roof line came out (also done improperly at the factory), entire piece of the side where it was coming out had to be replaced and repainted. Have a continuous rattle coming from around the sunroof. We have had it in the shop no less than five times and is currently there again. We are being told that the magnets between the cross bars and the sunroof are too small and they are going to have to replace them. This last time a representative came and rode with me so they could verify the rattle. It was noted by her and taken to the dealership. They called three days later and said it had been fixed. She was on her way to drop it off when she heard the rattle so she turned around and took it back. Currently, I have not had my car for over a week. Also while they were trying to locate the problem, they found a loose bolt in the console (again something not done properly at the factory). It speaks to the amount of time that my car has been in the shop when they are coming to me to pick up the car for repairs. This last time they brought me the QX60 as a loaner car. I noticed immediately that the transmission is much smoother on it. My JX acts like it is always searching for the right gear the tach revs up and drops quickly and revs again. I talked to them about the significant difference and the mantra was Its operating as it should. They stated maybe the CVT may have been tweaked some on the newer cars. Its very obvious to me that this car is a lemon. Dealer said they could do nothing for us as far as replacement. The General Sales Manager said they could possibly give us the trade in value and sell us a vehicle (if the salesman agreed) at dealer cost. He stated that was as much as they could do so therefore, I am going to file paperwork under the Georgia Lemon Law. Bottom line, I strongly suggest that the Infiniti JX35 not be purchased. It is also worth noting that they have replaced the JX35 (after only one year) with the QX60. Rebranding maybe? Could it be due to problems with the JX35? Just very odd, dont you agree?

I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 with 46K miles on it. The car is not a daily driver and is maintained immaculately. My engine has just suffered a catastrophic failure where a bolt inside the short block backed itself out and caused severe damage to the crank, block itself, sprayers, pistons, etc. The repair is costing me over $6,000 and when I contacted Consumer Affairs, they were not interested in hearing any of my issues and were not ready to stand behind their product. I even mentioned to them that I currently own 2 Infiniti cars, the G35 and a QX4, and that I have even owned a third product in the past. The whole process has left a sour taste in my mouth and a deep hole in my pocketbook. I wasnt expecting Infiniti to cover 100% of the damages, but was hoping to get some compensation.

Infiniti FX35 Dashboard bubbling - I got screwed by Infiniti. My dashboard started bubbling back in 2016 so I contacted Infiniti and told them about the problem only to be told that my car was out of warranty and that they could not do anything about it. But yesterday 10/23/17 I had my car serviced and was told by the dealership that the Bubbling was a recall issue. I was never told by Infiniti that this was a recall or an extended warranty was out for the bubbling issue. Im so disappointed in Infiniti because I never thought that they would leave their customers hanging on a expensive repair and not let us know in writing that this was an issue that they could repair. The fact that I contacted them back in Sept. of 2016 about this issue and their reply indicated that since I no longer had an warranty on the vehicle was why they could not fix it. They never mention that an extended warranty was out to fix this issue or when that extended warranty ended. So Im stuck with this ugly dash in a car that is suppose to be of luxury. Im hurt about the whole thing but at least now I know to never buy another one. Shame on you Infiniti! Look at all the repeat customers you could have had.

This car has been a fun car to drive but the reliability has been a joke. Almost immediately after buying the car the window regulators were messed up and I had to pay to get them fixed. Now the CD player is messed up, its got some CDs jammed in there. And Infiniti is quoting close to $1500 to fix this? Are you kidding me!? These cars are junk. Might as well stick with GM cars. Even if something goes wrong in a GM vehicle it costs under 200 to get it fixed.

This compact SUV handles well, offers relative quiet and comfort, good visibility and fair fuel economy. We like the rear view camera, the leather seating, the moon roof and generous storage space. All wheel drive is great on wet roads. Good audio, bluetooth phone and proximity sensors are a plus in driving and parking. GPS does a neat job. Nice car.

Ive owned my Infiniti G37 a little over 2 years. I recently noticed that the paint on my front bumper was peeling off. Since I live in No. California and purchased the car in So. California, I took it to our local Infiniti dealership and they indicated that someone had painted over the factory paint. Since I bought the car new and have never had work done to the front bumper, I knew that it wasnt me so it must have been done at the factory or Mission Viejo Infiniti where purchased. I called Mission Viejo Infiniti to discuss this and was told they had no record of anything being done to the bumper - of course they didnt. I then contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs and after being sent to 3 different reps, a month later an appointment was made for a rep to check out the paint on my car. Surprise - they said it wasnt the factory paint and they would not be doing anything to repair it.Im so angry right now that I just want to sell my car and have nothing more to do with Infiniti, Im going to try and see where else I can get my car serviced because I want nothing more to do with them and dont want to spend my hard earned dollars there. What kind of warranty is it if they wont take care of the problems that arise. This is very poor customer service!

This is in reply to Glenn of Orland Park. I too own a 2003 Infiniti FX35. I too have the same over-heating problems with my vehicle. Infiniti will not do a darn thing about it because they already know of the problem. It is inherent in most 2003 Model FX35s. 1st Model release and build. It is the head gaskets. Low block! It is exactly why Infiniti acts like they cannot diagnose or replicate the condition. They drag and drag running up the bill and they play stupid. A simple radiator pressure test will immediately reveal the flaw. But they dont want to be the ones who conduct that test and reveal this condition to you. Take it to a radiator specialist. You will get your proof! Their only recommendation is to replace the engine! At close to a $ 10,000.00 fix. This is totally unacceptable! I would just love to partake in a class action suit against these imbeciles. Please do not waste any time or money trying to diagnose the problem gentlemen. It is on every Infiniti blog you will find. Good luck to all whom own these vehicles. I know that I am not alone. This should be a zero rank to Infiniti, but this site will not allow it. : (

Infiniti FX35 2012 - Fantastic car, good stability and handling in inclemen
Infiniti FX35 2012 - Fantastic car, good stability and handling in inclement weather and windy conditions. The controls on the steering wheel are also easy to use. The cameras are helpful in tight spaces as well. The built-in map program works fairly well but you need to pay to update it annually. The car can go almost 500 miles on a single tank of gas for a road trip. The car is a mid-size SUV that handles a lot of items in the cargo area. It is easy to pack different types of items. The car travels well for tall individuals 64 or so in the front sears. The Bose sound system is fabulous too. However, the car does not have intuitive windshield wipers. The exterior mirrors are not heated and they freeze over when it is sleeting. The little gadget box where the lighter is has no purpose as well.

I bought my first Infiniti in 2014, I purchased a demo model Q50 S Hybrid for the price of R574, 430 with km12000 on the clock, a simply awesome vehicle with all the bells and whistles. Early this year I was keen to trade up on a new Infiniti when I heard the news that there is only one dealership left in SA and the brand is basically dead in SA.When I bought into the Nissans flagship (Infiniti) the last thing I expected was to be left in this predicament and now (2018) the very dealership Nissan can’t even give me an exact value on my car. I find this extremely poor from such a global brand. Imagine Lexus did the same to their Toyota clients. The least they could have done was to attempt a marketing campaign in South Africa, and by that I dont mean billboards on major highways. One light at the end of this tunnel is the great service I still get from Nissan Melrose Arch who obviously still carry the service contracts on Infiniti. Needless to say I will in future not invest in the Nissan brand again.

I own a 2006 Infiniti G35 that I purchased new. It now has 136,000 miles on it. I brought it to my dealer about 2 years ago when my doors had rusted and were replaced under a special extended warranty. At that time, I showed them an issue that I was having with my hood. When you raise it, it catches on the corners, in both corners near the windshield. Raising the hood has resulted in bending the corners of the hood and the quarter panels, resulting in paint chipping and rusting. It looks terrible, plus it’s often hard to raise the hood. The dealer told me that this resulted from having service at a non-Infiniti dealer, and that they did not lube the hood hinges as they were supposed to. I have never in my life heard of such an issue or service requirement. This issue is all over the Internet. Its just a very poor design in either the hinges or the hood/quarter panels that should be admitted to by Infiniti. Owners should be provided with restitution in terms of repair and resolution of the problem. I was at a service garage today and the mechanic said that every G35 he has serviced has had the same problem. Is anyone aware of a class action suit regarding this issue?

I have been looking to buy a new luxury sedan and was considering a Infiniti Q70 Hybrid, only because the MPG of the non-hybrid for Infiniti is terrible. I actually like the Q70L because of the legroom in the rear, but the Hybrid was not available in it. However, any dealer Ive visited says that they have never seen the Q70 Hybrid and doubt that it is available. When I go to Infiniti website and do a Build and Price, I can build it, yet the quote goes to my local dealers (not so local... 2 hour drive) and they tell me not available. I try to contact Infiniti Consumer Affairs to find out whats going on and they put me back to sales of the dealers Ive already talked to... that know just as little as I do. I guess that is my hint... That it is probably a mistake to be looking at this vehicle in the first place. I get quick and satisfactory replies back from other manufacturers where I have contacted for other issues or questions.

I purchased a 2003 Infiniti G35 in 2006. I am having problems as outlined in a recall issued by Infiniti; however, they are telling me that my car is not part of the recall. When I called the dealership, they said that the previous owner had already taken advantage of the recall so if I want the issue resolved, then I have to pay $650. I have already paid for a new air conditioning compressor and a motor for my passenger side window to find out that the issue was with the audio circuit board. The recall said: On some model year 2003 G35 Sedans manufactured through August 21, 2002, the audio and temperature controls may not operate as expected. When using the audio equipment or the temperature controls, the unit may become inoperative. In some cases, this can be corrected by turning the ignition switch off and back on again. In other cases, the unit remains inoperative and requires service by an Infiniti technician. To prevent this condition, Infiniti has initiated a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the audio finisher circuit board on these vehicles at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. This campaign affects approximately 23,998 Infiniti G35 Sedans in the United States. The notification letter stated: Thank you for your purchase of an Infiniti 2003 G35 Sedan. Infiniti is committed to providing the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction as part of the Total Ownership Experience program. Through our product performance monitoring, we have identified that the audio and temperature controls may, on occasion, not operate as expected. To ensure your satisfaction and to prevent any inconvenience, Infiniti is replacing the component that controls the audio and temperature controls on your vehicle with an improved version. Your Infiniti dealer may have already contacted you to schedule an appointment and to have this component replaced, at no cost to you. If not, please contact your nearest Infiniti dealer to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. This free service should take less than two (2) hours to complete, but your Infiniti dealer may require your vehicle for a longer period of time based upon their work schedule, or parts availability. If you require alternate transportation, please schedule an appointment in advance so your Infiniti dealer can ensure a free service loan car is available for your use.If you have any questions or concerns about your Infiniti G35 Sedan, please contact your Infiniti dealer or contact an Infiniti representative toll free at (800) 662-6200. Last year I purchased a one owner 2008 G35 with 35k miles on it in Jacksonville Florida. The original owner kept all maintenance up to date and took it to the dealership they purchased it from. I have babied the car, always park in the shade and always use a sun visor. After one month of owning the car, the dash started cracking around the air vents and near the radio. I have also noticed the dash is lifting on some corners around the hood over the instrument cluster. I immediately reached out to the Infiniti dealership it was originally purchased but was told there was no recall or anything they could do unless I wanted to pay out of pocket.I have read in several forums that this has been an issue with the G35s. I also read there was class action lawsuit filed for Florida but owners had to have submitted their claim in 2017. I hoping there is some kind of assistance in this matter. It is very disappointing that a luxury brand, Infiniti would not stand by their product with a known defect.

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan V6. The air system is stuck on auto and my audio (radio) and rear defroster no longer works. I have no control whatsoever on the entire air system. The problems started in 2009, as I lost control off, and on until about six months ago when everything went dead. I had recall work done on the audio circuit board in 2003 and now that Infiniti dealership in Guelph told me that it is the same part which is at fault. This diagnosis cost me 57 dollars. I called the Woodchester dealership in Mississauga that did the original warranty work and they told me that they no longer will back their work because the Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board recall is over with. This is a total scam that Nissan has managed to sidestep even though they issued a recall. They replaced my part, all right, but this same part was again faulty and an obvious health and safety concern exists here. As far as I am concerned, they should once again replace this faulty part since they probably replaced it with a new one that again is faulty. How can I possibly drive this car when no front windshield air or rear defrost exists especially with winter fast approaching. The least they can do is pay for the part again since the dealership wants to charge me approximately 1700 dollars to replace both the circuit board and the radio. If I dont get satisfaction out of this I will never buy a Nissan vehicle again. There are so many people complaining about this. It is pretty laughable that no one from the government has forced the issue. I guess that will be my next step. Whats your move Nissan? Are you gonna take the responsibility for the vehicle you made or are you gonna wait till someone gets killed because they cant see the road while they are driving?

When I got it back the engine ran but the air conditioner was broke so the next day took it BACK FOR AIR CONDITIONER. Then I had this car for 3 weeks and it overheated. I hope CarHop/UAC make it right. I have had this car two months and Im afraid to drive it anywhere for fear it will break down. I am taking to THEIR mechanic tomorrow. My warranty is good. Ill have it FIXED again. Hmmm fixed...right.Updated on 07/16/2016: Well its been a couple of weeks update. I called 07/15/16 to tell them I had fixed the car. It cost me but I would pay them Aug 1 my July 1 bill. They said no. That if I didnt pay the full amount they would disable my starter. WELL...AN HOUR LATER I CHECKED AND YES ONCE AGAIN STRANDED WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION. I am a single 32 yr who has to not only figure out a way around but I have PTSD. This is not my idea of good customer service. That car altogether has ran for maybe 2 1/2 weeks total. I finally get it working and Garcia turns it off. I need a lawyer.

On Sept. 2010, both headlights went out as we were driving home at night. We had to drive over one hour with high beams. As there is no Infinite Dealership close to us and the car was out of warranty, we took the car to a Nissan Dealership that has a Infinite Certified Mechanic. We found that we had to replace the whole bucket system which costs over $4000.00 for the headlights! We had it repaired and now one year and one month later, we had another headlight go out and we are looking at an estimated $1500 more for HEADLIGHTS. We called customer service and was treated unreasonably and with no help. No one should have to put out this kind of money for an Infinite M35 (2006) 70,000 miles. Rosa was the unfriendly so-called customer service agent we dealt with. We have to believe that Infinite has had issues with headlights and others have been burned with this kind of repair costs.

You can choose 7 speed automatic or 6 speed manual, dont forget convertible and always has comfort. You can go turbo charged or twin-turbo and diesel I4 if you choose. Depending on what you would want you can go from 2 door coupes which seats 2 to 4 people or 4 door for the sedan - 4 or 5 people, and all the way to 5 door SUV - 4 people all the way to 7 people.

Michelle at Consumer Affairs is the most ineffective, rude person I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. Infiniti made many mistakes in the sale of my vehicle which ended up causing damage to the vehicle and they have yet to repair the damage and be responsible for the added expenses to me. I will definitely never be buying another Infiniti. A car is only as good as the company that makes it. It was a very disappointing experience!

I have had problems with this car day one. Infiniti Q50 was always my dream car so I took it to the shop to be fixed but still no change. I took it to another Infiniti dealership and they are still unable to fix the issues. I regret buying the car but since it was just electrical issues I thought maybe it will be fine and Ill just find someone to fix it but no one seems to be able to know how to fix it, now I have a car that I cant even enjoy all the techs I paid for on it! I will never again buy another Infiniti.

I am about to pull out what little hair I have left! We purchased a fully loaded JX35 5/13/2013. Soon after we started to experience transmission problems. The car would shake and jerk between 20-30 mph. We returned the car to Infiniti of Manhattan in 6/1/2013. The service department couldnt provide us with an answer as to when the car would be returned or provide us with an answer as to what is wrong with the car. 6/15/2013 they informed us they would need a new transmission! So we demanded that the get us a new car because this car is obviously defective. The car had less than 300 miles on it at the time of replacement. They told we will not get a replacement contact Infiniti USA. We did and they told us they will do everything to fix the problem. Meanwhile, the transmission had to be ordered from Japan. The car was returned to us 7/16/2013. We made two car payments on a car that we didnt have. Now not even a year later with 7000 miles on the car the transmission fails again! No answer as to when the car will be returned same silence from Infiniti USA. I have tried to break lease, unable to. We have contacted New York State Department of Consumer Affairs awaited their help. Save your money. DONT BUY THIS CAR OR ANY CAR FROM INFINITI!!!!

OK, its now been 14 months and still no apps on my 2014 Q50, which were advertised and promised (not as a new feature, but an included feature that was in all of Infinitis literature and sales brochures). I would have made a different decision about leasing this car if Infiniti had said these are apps that may be available someday. I would like my lease cancelled and the car taken back. I will eat all the money that I put down. That is a relatively inexpensive thing for Infiniti to do. If not, I will be starting a class action lawsuit and even if it doesnt go anywhere the publicity and all the social media posts will be much more expensive for Infiniti in the long run. Or I will just go to small claims court. This will be easy for me, but still require Infiniti to spend more in billable hours than it would for you to spend a few thousand taking my lease back. Kevin in WV, how do I email you? I want to join a suit.

I own a 2014 Infiniti Q50 and have been having persistence and regular issues with its two dashboard interface screens. I have the Infiniti warranty and have taken the car for repair multiple times, contacted the Infiniti Consumer Affairs and tried to come to some sort of resolution or a buy back offer, but have been unsuccessful. I have been a long time loyal Infiniti customer since 1994. I currently own two Infiniti cars and have owned 4 infiniti vehicles so far. But now with this lack of resolution of such basic quality problems in a luxury brand, has left me wondering if I should switch brand to one that would support their loyal customers.

The I30, four-door model with leather and good sound system is a mid-level of the brand but it has good workmanship in construction. Its an older model, so design was outdated to more current models. But its attractive and functional design. It also has well-rounded lines with functional interior amenities, controls and easily accessible. Since this was a basic model, it did not contain a lot of bells and whistles. The sunroof was a nice feature and worked well. A larger engine was not needed as the model performed well. The car is listed as seating for five, which was correct, but rear seat leg room was limited. The front passenger compartment was quite narrow for leg room.

Infiniti Financial Services input my data incorrectly from the dealership lease, resulting in not billing my company (it is a company car but in my name), and a subsequent car repossession. They did not email, mail, call the billing address, or the dealership, but claim they called my cell phone which I did not receive. It is now on my credit report ruining my credit score. They are completely nonresponsive after being bounced around to several “managers” including Jimmy ** who has never returned a call. It was clearly their fault and they are still refusing to expunge the repossession from my credit report. Everyone that I was in contact with throughout the process has been completely incompetent, unprofessional, and combative. I have contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs more than seven times. With today (11/18) have four repeated phone calls. In my attempts to discuss the recent $5,000 price drop on the G37x, both consumer affairs and IFS both refused to discuss the issue. However were very good at telling me that the other entity was responsible to address. Marco at extension ** in IFS is an idiot. The entire consumer affairs department has less acumen than Marco who isnt qualified to work at a fast food drive-thru.At the heart of this matter is the following. Within the last 60 days, Infiniti reduced the price of the G series by $5,000. That price reduction has sent the used car and wholesale value of prior model years down by an equal amount. In return, my 2012 has a lease residual value on 5/11/2015 at $24,000. However, the vehicle this morning appraises at $2,000 BELOW that amount now, thus creating $5,000 in negative equity without my agreement. Any current G series lease is now $5000 deeper into their lease. I spoke to the general sales manager at one of the Infiniti dealers here in Metro Detroit, and he chuckled and said they screwed you and everyone else. Never will I drive, lease or rent from Infiniti or Nissan again. This is fraud and theft as far as I see it.

The dealer keep saying is normal - that the transmission works like that when I shift from reverse to drive, it kicks really bad. I know that is not normal. It didnt do that when I first bought the car. Joe the service manager said that he was going to call me to set up an appointment - is already being more than a week still havent call me. I already call three times and left message for Hans ** who I took my car for a second time. Until now he havent return my call. In total my car is being at the dealer 4 times for problems. I understand cars having some issues over time, but the dashboard on my FX35 is completely a manufacturing defect. And it has been proven to be a vendor/supplier issue across the entire Nissan/Infiniti brand. Florida just had a class action suit won against Nissan for Altimas. There were two before this won in different states against Infiniti. My car currently is waiting for the Takata Airbag recall appointment. Why cant they replace the dash when they remove it to replace the deadly airbags? I actually would be willing to help cover part of the cost of the new dash since they already will have to remove it to replace the passenger airbag. What it comes down to it cars are a BIG purchase for MOST people. German cars dont have sticky bubble filled melting dashboards, so why is this a problem for Japanese car manufacturers? If I remember correctly Toyota and Lexus have similar class action suits. I honestly feel that at the very least, these companies should in good faith repair the shoddy materials at 50% of the cost.

Consumer Affairs is a complete joke. My 2019 Q50 Red Sport has never drove straight which was bought with 49 miles on it and addressed 4 days later but was told its road crown then set up to drive this way then educated guess of bent strut and has had 3 sets of tires now. They dont acknowledge independent shops service records only the dealerships. They claim I was in a collision causing this damage however there is no evidence of it and they cant acknowledge defects. They said for months I had a bent strut when several of my own inspections said lower control arm has play.Dealership still tried claiming this part was fine and didnt see the grease seeping out of the bushing or the high pressure fuel lines leaking. Following day they magically acknowledge the lower control arm needs replaced due to the bushing. Exactly what my service records pointed to 7 months earlier. Dont trust Consumer Affairs or manufacturer dealerships. Wow guess my mechanics were right. So now they try blaming it on collision and road damage. Im paying for all repairs out of pocket and getting rid of the car that has too many problems. Dealerships cant diagnose issues properly but can break a engine cover lol.

My vehicle is a 2001 Infiniti I-30. I have this car serviced at a local Nissan dealership since I purchased the car there in 2009. The car developed some idle problems and Nissan told me that it was the ECM (the vehicles computer). I had the ECM and a valve replaced 2 years earlier at Nissan, but they indicated that they could not do anything since it was an Infiniti part, but to contact Infiniti consumer affairs because they are likely to help with the problem since this part is over $1000 and should last more than 2 years. They indicated they would do this for a Nissan part.I contacted InfinitI consumer affairs and they instructed me to take it to an Infiniti dealership and get the problem verified. I explained to them that I was just at a Nissan dealership and they are actually the same company, but they insisted. Since I needed to get this problem fixed, I took it there. They kept the car for a week and a half and after all this, they told me they couldnt help because the part was out of warranty. They knew that the part was out of warranty before I took it into an Infiniti dealer and now I was out $145 service fee which they would not pay either.I asked to speak to a supervisor and Yadiri told me there was none. When I insisted, she indicated that a supervisor was not there. When I kept up, Jeane (the supervisor) came on the phone. Jeane indicated that the warranty was not the only issue (contradicting her subordinate) and indicated that car mileage and customer loyalty was also a factor. I indicated to her that I was an extremely loyal customer having my car serviced at Nissan consistently. She ignored my remarks and repeated over and over that they were not going to cover the part. This is ridiculous. Infiniti consumer affairs is a farce. People have purchased new Infinitis because of my vehicle as Ive always loved the performance and told people about it. Even though the car was old - this appealed to my friends because it showed reliability. I will make it my goal in life to get as many people away from the Infiniti cars as I possibly can. If someone at that company was smart, they would read the reviews in this section.

Theres a lot to like about the entire Infiniti line: its always been a comb
Theres a lot to like about the entire Infiniti line: its always been a combination of performance, quality and luxury. My Q50 4-door is my fourth, although the first three were the G37s and the Q60 sport models. And until now, I dont remember ever having any problem whatsoever. Until now. So Ill dispense with further platitudes and go right to the issues. It wont drive in a straight line and Ive been told that this is a function of steer-by-wire. Seriously? They did this on purpose? Driving around town you cant tell but as soon as you hit a straight on a highway, you become aware, because the car constantly drifts either right or left, which requires making a steering adjustment every few seconds. (And no, it isnt the wheel alignment.) On a long drive this is fatiguing in the arms and in your head. You cant relax. Ever! Also, having a car that constantly drifts is just plain dangerous. I have another appointment with my local service dept but I dont have high hopes.Theyve over complicated the NAV/audio display systems. Controls for the NAV system are in 3 different places. The USB (my primary music listening) display system wont perform the simplest tasks properly, either manually or by speech (which is a total fail). I live in south Florida, where you have to be afraid of the drivers around you. I dont have the luxury of taking my eyes off the road to try and figure out how to make things work.Infinitis Consumer Affairs Dept has been less than useless in these matters. The first person they assigned to my case, some regional manager named Shala, didnt return my many calls and when I finally caught up with her and explained my situation, she never followed up. (I complained about Shala but no one followed up on my complaint.) The second person, someone named Amanda, said that the car was performing within its design parameters. Again... less than useless. So this is the current state of affairs with Infiniti Customer (Consumer) Affairs. They dont care.Of the various drive modes, I prefer the Sport setting, as it tightens up the steering and the suspension but there is no way to permanently set it. It requires an adjustment every time you start the car. Gas mileage around town is an abysmal 15 mpg and I do not hot rod the car. (In all fairness, it does get 31 mpg on the highway, even without Eco mode.) Theyve done away with the warning buzzer for the rear camera, making using the camera problematic. You have video but you have to guess how close you are to things youre backing up against. And finally, I use the auto seat adjusts for driving and exit positions and sometimes when Im getting out, it resets itself to the driving position, catching me in between. Ouch! My 2011 Q60 sport was the best car I ever had. I should have bought it when the leaser came due. This Q50? Meh!

I have leased a few Infinities and the car is Definitely not the quality of car it used to be. My last was a Q40. Nice looking cars, but they obviously are putting it together cheaply. Their batteries are from Hunger. My car wasnt even 6 months old when the battery started to go. I had to call AAA to charge me up so I could get home and sometimes I couldnt even go to work in the morning because my battery was dead. I brought car back to dealership and spent hours waiting for them to go over car. They told me they could find nothing wrong but gave me a new battery anyhow. That new battery lasted 2 months. So obviously its a piece of junk. I eventually had to go and buy a battery myself elsewhere To get one that worked. Same thing happened on both cars. So I was paying good money but for a very unreliable car. After my first bad experience I didnt want to get another Infiniti but my salesman insisted that car was a fluke, a lemon and it would never happen again. So like a fool I got another one only to end up with the same heartache again. You expect when you get a new car it should be good for at least the 1st few years, Not Infinity, you are lucky when you get 6 good months. Now my last lease has recently ended and I got a different car, thank God. So to get back at me for not leaving another Infinity they sent me a huge bill over 1000 dollars of trumped up charges.400 to pay for the transport of the car, when the car was brought back to the place I got it at Douglas Infinity. You would think that would be the end of it, but now they are hitting me with over $1000 bill for made up nonsense and threatening to ruin my credit if I dont pay up. The few scratches on my car from normal wear and tear, unlike most companies they are hitting me big and demanding payment in full. This is not someone you want to do business with. No $500 for normal wear and tear allowance. Very rude when I tried to discuss it with them because I felt they were Definitely trying to take advantage of me. They think they have you over a barrel because they will report you to the credit unions.I feel like I am being robbed, and its not a nice feeling. So this is how they take care of loyal customers who went through Hell because of their poor quality car, never gave them grief when I should have. You dont want to do business with people like this. I called my salesman up to see if he could help, but they dont want to know you unless they can RIP you off again. He will call me back he said last week, Im not holding my breath. Im sorry Im not the type of person to complain, but I felt it my duty to warn others. These cars have problems. My daughters boyfriend has one too and hes had a lot of issues with his also and wont be getting another. Hes a lawyer, I guess Ill be calling him for advice. There are several other brands of lovely cars. You dont need this headache.

The first contact with Infiniti was a refreshing change from other dealers.
The first contact with Infiniti was a refreshing change from other dealers. The actual sale process went well. After that it was a complete disaster. The car was delivered 10 days late and in a shocking condition. The paint work had faults on every panel. This ranged from deep scratches, paint scuffs etc to badly oxidized paint because of the protective!, transport stickers. The car was returned to the dealership and they agreed that it was a mess and should never had been delivered to a customer in that condition. At this point I indicated that it should be returned and replaced with another vehicle. The dealership refused and said it was company policy to try and resolve the issues. They arranged for the car to go to a local body shop to have paint work correction. This was after a detail expert had inspected the car and refused to do anything with it as the condition was so bad. He also advised them not to take it to the body shop as they did not have the skills to rectify the fault and in his experience things would only get worse. All of this was ignored and the dealership sent the car for repair. Back it came and surprise! It was in a worse condition than before. The dealership insists that the car is okay, but now they want it back to have more paint correction done? I have also got an email sent from the Infiniti Center to a paint detailer advising that they have had issues with paint, transport sticker marks, etc and have several unhappy customers. The dealership deny this and claim it’s not the same problem as my car and was an isolated case? Isolated... it mentioned every model in the lineup and several unhappy customers, how is that isolated? The car is now booked in again to go to another detailer chosen by Infiniti. I will report back on that work at a later date. Infiniti are in denial that they have paint issues. Their customer service is a joke and are as bad if not worse than some small back street outfit. They actually believe that by getting the car paint fixed they are doing me some sort of favor with no mention of any form of compensation or apology for the terrible state of the car or the complete lack of customer service?! My advice--do not buy anything from Infiniti. They are not focused on customer service or product quality. All they want is your money. There are better options out there.

Ive owned my QX60 for less than three months and after less than 3k miles the bottom portion of the drivers seat no longer heats or cools, however, the back part does. I took it for warranty work to the Infiniti dealership in Silver Spring, MD and they told me that the seat immediately worked for them which I know is a lie because amazingly it didnt work after I got back in the car. They said they hooked it up to the computer and the computer showed it was working properly, however, they never showed me the computer results nor did they show me that the seat worked. In addition to the seat not working properly the rear windshield sprayer was clogged and they blamed it on the dealership who sold it to me. They unclogged it, but it still doesnt spray, it just shoots out washer fluid. Buying this vehicle was a waste of my money and I shouldve known better than to purchase another Nissan product considering I owned an Altima several years ago and the alternator went bad with only 30k miles. In addition, the CD player in the Altima would jam anytime a CD with a paper label on it was put in it. They replaced the CD changed once, but the 2nd time it happened it was out of warranty and they wouldnt replace it. Based on that I should never have purchased another Nissan product and I wont ever again. The only reason I didnt purchase an MDX is because it cost several thousand more, but it wouldve been worth paying the extra thousands because thats probably what Ill spend on the QX60 after the warranty is up.

I recently purchased my 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe with only 66,000 miles on it, thinking Ive got a great deal. Well since day one of the purchase of this car, I have had problems with the radio and the air controls, as I see everyone else has with these cars. At first, my radio would not work at all and the air is stuck on auto 75. Now day to day, its a surprise every time I get in my car, whether the radio is going to work or not. When it does come on, however, I can only control the volume from my controls on my steering wheel. This now seems to have gone into a further problem which i have read also from another persons statement about the battery. It has now since 2 days ago, it started hesitating on starting as if the battery were going dead. All my lights come on in my dash and I have to restart my car to get them to go off. This seems to be a very big problem with these cars and under warranty or not, I think this issue should be addressed and corrected by Infiniti. With so much going on, I honestly dont even feel safe driving this car because from the other statements, it seems to start just as mine has and goes into something even worse. So what will it take for Infiniti to correct this problem? I am very disappointed.

Day one of ownership of a QX60. Blind spot monitor light goes on and off whenever it wants. We Drove three hours back to have them look at it. They told me to go home and enjoy my new car. Telling me they cant fix anything that isnt coding. I had to take pictures to prove the light would flash and come on because no one would believe me. It cant code if it truly thinks there is a car there that it sees, even when Im on a two lane road and there isnt a car there.Forward crash warning turns itself off when it wants. Many phone calls and I just keep getting brushed off. Two months later it finally codes. They took three weeks to try and fix, but after 2 years and numerous trips back, its still not fixed. We would find it sitting outside in back row at the dealership and not even being worked on. Yet they had it for about three weeks.Brake issues, pedal makes noise. I would push the brake and when I release the brake it would make a noise. Yet they promised they would take care of me and make everything right and is at the highest standards. haha Id hate to see low standards. My service dealership that I take all our vehicles to for oil changes, tells me I have a head gasket leak. I said I have always smelled antifreeze and told the deal I purchased from all the time. They just blew me off like I was just complaining about nothing. Today I was told by my Infiniti dealer that it is normal for all Infiniti to have a head gasket leak. Yes thats right it IS NORMAL for that to happen. Cabin seal on drivers side had pulled out first time I washed it. Paint on rear tail gate was repainted because the paint was bubbling from rust.YES we supposedly purchased this car bran new. Please if anyone else has experienced any of this please contact me. I really dont need to deal with all this stress. Its physically making me sick. I think when flood waters went through Des Moines Iowa my car may have been too close and received some damage that no one is admitting to. This flood was before I purchased the car. Yes I have contacted the BBB and the attorney generals office.

We purchased our 2010 G37 from Infiniti of Peoria (AZ) and both the car and service have been exceptional. A couple of minor items (window trim and transmission reprogram) were dealt with in 2011, and only routine servicing since. Even after six years, our salesperson (Robert) still remembers our names and stops by to chat whenever we are in for service. The car is a great highway cruiser, and still runs like it is new - by far the best car we have owned.

One thing I have expectation is quality customer service. Cochran Infiniti has the idea that get them in get them dont pass on information that a customer could use or want. For instance I found that I was supposed to be enrolled in the portal. I wasnt. In fact the salesman was a yes man while you are there and screw you once you are gone. The Certified vehicle should not have been. I was told by the salesman things like the wheels would be fixed (rim scrapped). He lied the ashtray was going to be fixed and ready as well as the floor mats when I come in for my first service. The salesman lied, the object was to get me out the door, fast. In fact I pointed out the body punch also ignored. The culture at Cochran is not of quality but of getting sales at all cost. Tried to create an account on the customer portal after I found it existed. Unfortunately that was a waste of time. It refused to recognize my VIN and twice was rebuked by customer service. One person even told me I had to provide proof by uploading insurance documentation and registration as proof to the customer portal which I had to access to and wanted their help to create. They said not without proof. So Infiniti refused to recognize me as the owner of the Q50 of a vehicle bought at a dealer for new Infinitis which was supposed to be certified. Bought this vehicle in August. Its May 1. Infiniti has no chain of command and is not proactive and not quick to react if ever.

I loved it. Gorgeous and high end for it to be intro to luxury cars. The inside and outside are impeccably gorgeous. The screen inside and the tan interior is amazing. But it gets dirty extremely fast and they dont offer that many varieties in a sedan. It would be better if they had more varieties but what is available is great for an intro to luxury car. My vehicle can seat 4 other people comfortably. But with a car seat in my car I can only seat 2 other people comfortably. With growing family, I need a bigger vehicle that can hold another car seat and transport people. I am extremely interested in upgrading but Im not fully aware of the upgrade options. I am ready for an SUV.

I have purchased 2 Infiniti Qx56 SUVs brand new. My current 2012 has been in the shop over 10x with the same problem. The dealership explains the problem to me and how this is unique. Each time the cause is something different when they document it and check you out. Now the truck is out of warranty and it will be my responsibility if it happens again. Trust me when I say, It will happen again. Being stranded and having to be without my own vehicle for days. One time it was in the shop for 21 days, they claimed they were waiting for a part from overseas. I did contact Infiniti corporate office and they refused to do anything. I had bizarre electrical problems with my first Infiniti QX56 as well. I had it in the shop multiple times and no one could ever figure that unique problem out either. I purchased my second one because it was the new body style and it was very spacious. The sales team was very sligh about and claiming it was all revamped and no issues reported. They do have a good looking vehicle but I will never never again buy an Infiniti. For the price ($80,000) you would expect more. They are not trained in customer satisfaction, quality or customers service.

About a 45 days ago I took my 2009 Infiniti g37 convertible, market value of car $17500 to Passport Infiniti of Suit Land Maryland for repairs on convertible top not operating. The service department checked the top out and said total cost to repair top would cost $8900, to my surprise I debated the cost and indicated to the service manager the car was not in a accident. How could this be possible? I stated to the service manager I found the hydraulic motor for the convertible top for a price of $750. He replied they change out every part related to the hydraulic motor hose lines fluid everything. I stated, This is ridiculous and how can you pick up the phone and call a customer and tell them the cost to repair your top will be $8900 and the vehicle is only worth around $17000? Of course I got the same response.I also stated, The replacement engine for the car that propels the car down the street at 150 mph would only cost $5000, please explain to me how the motor that raises the convertible top cost $8900? Crickets. Any way I end up taking the car to Germain Auto Group of Springfield VA. They fixed the top including the parts for $1900. Now you see why I had to blog about this. Oh and by the way I called Infiniti Corporate. They were not forth coming with any solutions other than trading the car in. Go figure. Nice car, bad custom service company. If youre thinking about buying a convertible hardtop Infiniti g37 be aware if something goes wrong with that top the cost to fix through Infiniti is all most impossible.

I had to come out of pocket to get the car fixed. They did not want to help me with anything. No rental, no loaner car. My car has no cosmetic damage on the body. 3 weeks after the incident after I file a second complaint they ask if they can inspect the car. Infiniti is an overpriced luxury. They make minimum number of models and they all look very similar. The cars look a lot like traditional Honda or Toyota. I own a sedan and it comfortably seats 4 adults. The interior options are ok, but the styling is boring. The color choices are also very standard. The car has all the high end features but the performance of these features leaves a lot to be desired. The stereo options with Boss are nice and the nav system is offered, but the nav system performance is poor. Also, when using the car for kids, the child latch hooks are very difficult to access.

2015 Infiniti Q70 not well executed. Engine and Transmission do not perform with precision as the Q50 or other models do. Its sluggish and non responsive. Has stupid settings for Economy and Sport, which do nothing except either make the car jumpy or more sluggish. The Navigation system is very complex and cannot find Places (aka Points of Interest). E.g. it could not find of my bank locations (Chase) near me, even though there are 5 within a 4 miles radius. The nearest it found was 60 miles away. It could find the ATMs that my has. If you do not have an exact address, its almost impossible to find anything. It is as what in it is a primitive system. My portable GPS thats 10 years old has more accuracy. The answers I get from the dealer are all BS and they try to jawbone with a bunch of lame excuses. So, no satisfaction.

Infiniti of Denver is one of the best dealerships that I have ever bought a car from, but their finance partner is not a part of them and is not willing to work with any consumer. I have lost two children, and my wife had numerous medical hardships, and Infiniti Finance refuses to acknowledge these misfortunes. Even the largest companies in the world such as Citi, Discover, Wells Fargo and et cetera, are willing to work with their customers and Infiniti Financial is not.

I balanced and rotated tires multiple times with no improvement in vibration. Decided to take it to Infiniti dealership. There are 2 dealerships in the area. Both dealerships refusing to diagnose my car. All they do is balance tires and saying everything is fixed or just keep denying that there is vibration. They simply refuse to take car and diagnose it as it will require taking suspension apart and checking each part individually and can take time do.Since it is not 1 hour diagnosing job they just lie into my face that balancing fixed it or that they can’t feel anything. They will not even take it for normal test drive. My car under bumper to bumper warranty but dealership simply denying me service. I am forced to take car to independent mechanic to diagnose issue and then pay for repair myself. I buy cars every 3 years and will never bring my business to Infiniti again. I paid more money for the car because of warranty still active and just refuse to fix it. Service manager at the Infiniti of Novi is just rude and obnoxious. 60K of crap. Every day I have to use my 2014 QX60 I wonder what will go wrong. First it was the brakes. Front and rear, rotors, pads, the works at around 12K miles. Shortly after was the transmission. At the dealer I couldnt help but notice the 11 other QX60 cars there. I inquired with one of the service techs who informed me that 8 of the 11 were for transmission problems. I have had windshield molding problems, navigation problems, and small button and switches problems, like falling off; ridiculous! Now at 31K miles, the car battery is leaking. Of course the dealer will not fully replace due to the convenience of only a 24 month warranty. The only good thing with this vehicle is the 3 year lease that cant end soon enough!!

I bought a JX35 in September 2013. I had 5000 miles on it when the transmission began to shutter and shake between 15-20 mph. We took it back to the dealership twice before they agreed to replace the transmission. Then it started making a jarring motion while driving at any speed. It feels like it wants to stop while driving 60 mph. We have taken back to infinifi and were told it is now the new transmission. We also had to have the AC motor blower repaired. I have owned the JX35 for 9 months now and I do not feel safe to drive my family around in this vehicle. I was told the tech would have to call Infiniti on how to handle the transmission this time around. I have made a complaint with Infiniti Consumer Affairs but have not received a response yet. We bought our 2008 G35X new. At 23K miles (mostly highway), we started getting warning lights for VDC off, slip and brakes. It was still under warranty, so I took it to the dealer (Dorschel Infiniti of Rochester) who said they had to charge me for the inspection if they couldnt find anything wrong. After inspecting, they said the only problems were that the rear pads had only 2mm left and the fronts 4mm. They strongly recommended a brake job for $379 per each axle. I was an automotive engineer for 20 years so I questioned this, but was told that 25K miles was normal for rear brakes and 27K miles normal for fronts. Given the long and horrible history weve had with this dealership, I was more than a little skeptical.I contacted Infiniti customer service, who told me that 30K miles was normal brake life and they werent going to do anything. She also said that she just had a similar complaint, so she recently checked into it. When I told them that they were about to lose a customer, the rep asked if there was anything they could do to keep us. When I said, Yes, replace my brakes, she said they wouldnt because brakes are wear items and arent covered by warranty at all.

Typically we buy Lexus or Audi but decided to go Infiniti this time bought a 2020 QX50. We’ve had this BRAND NEW CAR in the shop 8 times in 14 months each time being assured it’s fixed then it’s back in. Ok things happen so we gave Infiniti the option to just buy us out of the vehicle and we try something else but NO. They feel there’s nothing wrong with a new vehicle requiring this many trips to be repaired. SERIOUSLY? Speaks volumes about the company’s integrity in my opinion. My husband was going to buy me an Infiniti too (we got married April 1st) but after all the headaches of this vehicle I’m going 100% back to Lexus where they value their customers not only during the sell but throughout the entire time. I cannot support a company that cannot accept fault (accidents happen to ALL companies no big deal). It’s completely how the company handles it and this was hands down THE WORSE and they have now lost a life long customer and one that can and will use her voice to tell people what to expect when using Infiniti.

My black Infiniti began having paint issues. At first I thought it was damaged by something in the environment, etc. But upon inspection, you could clearly see the distinct outlines of the decals that had been placed on the car years earlier. The damage began there has now spread over entire car. I dont know if the paint or clearcoat had a chemical reaction to the paint or perhaps the decals prevented the coating from doing its job or perhaps the solvent sprayed on to remove the decals had some kind of effect. I researched on the internet and found several other issues of the transportation decals causing delayed paint failure on Infiniti vehicles. It is obvious from photos that the damage is not random or naturally occurring.

I have a 2006 Infiniti FX35 with transmission problems. I called the dealer and gave Mr. ** the option to replace the whole transmission for the estimated price of $7,000. The person that took my phone call even said that transmission problems normally happen around 100,000 miles and he emphasized that his best recommendation is to replace the whole transmission because if they only replace the valve body, I will probably have problems in the future with something else related with the transmission. Scam. They would rather make me spend a lot more money. They don’t lose. The front seat has several cracks on the vinyl part. As per the Infiniti dealer, its a wear and tear problem. How would a luxury car seat wear with just around 80,000 miles on it! I noticed online that its a common problem. They need to recall this cheap vinyl and replace it regardless of warranty. Now, the car is stuck just outside of warranty with the same issues and at my own expense. The 1995 Camaro with 200k original transmission RPM is better than my Infiniti. My Dads old truck (1983) has vinyl seats and looks better than my Infiniti luxury with a cost of above $40K.

My 2013 Infiniti JX35 has been at the dealer since May 30th. Twice as I was driving, the IBA (Intellect Brake Assist) engaged and stopped my car and pulled my seat belt tight. There were no cars coming toward me both times. If a car was driving too close behind me, they would have hit me with the kids in the car. It was the first car in the nation to do this, so technicians from Bosch and Infiniti have flown out several times to try and fix the problem. It happened to them too while driving it too. They said it was too much metal on the bridge I was on and the system thought it was another car about to hit me. They are now trying to update the software. Do I really want to rely on software to drive my car safely? Infiniti Consumer Affairs are the most rude, discourteous people I have come across. They said I would have an answer in 5-10 days. It took three weeks. They did not return one phone call. I had to beg an agent to put me through to a supervisor because my agent didnt call me back in a week. Ridiculous. Finally, yesterday after calling back again to see if there was an answer, I was declined. I wanted my full money back and to get back into a QX56 (what I owned previously). I called the BBB. I bought a new M35X in 2010. I live in Ohio and I bought the AWD version to drive more safely in our winters. The car came equipped with Goodyear RSA tires. I bought the car in April and everything was fine when on flat dry roads. If there were uneven surfaces the front end trembled. When wet, the car had no traction despite being AWD. In winter, it was dangerous to drive and tended to rotated when on ice or snow. It had no traction. I complained to the dealer, Infiniti of Columbus, about the problem and after a test drive, they said nothing was wrong. I tried again, explaining that the car could not accelerate in the snow even with traction control on and would go into slides at slow speeds. The dealer was no help so I complained to the next level. The short of it is that the manufacturer did not care. The Infiniti representative said everything was normal. I started reading message boards and found that others had the same problem. The solution seemed to be tire replacement. The message boards suggested Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires. I tried once again to get Infiniti to do something but was turned down. I purchased the MXV4 for this winter and it solved all of my traction, steering, and trembling complaints.I know there are other 2010 M35X owners suffering the same problems. For your own safety, buy a good set of all season tires. You will be amazed at the difference and get furious that Infiniti put a tire on the vehicle with those performance characteristics. I guess there is a reason why Infiniti is a third tier luxury brand. Customer care is non-existent.

Infiniti is a good car for all. Foreign but still nice for the cost of parts. Would recommend to all anytime. Very pleased with variety options. The cosmetics and features for this car are wonderful and a small upgrade goes a long way for appeal and overall look of the car. Not that it needs an upgrade at all to begin with but personalizing a car is an amazing feeling. Also very slick and innovative design. Can come in 2-4 doors and a gorgeous car style. It is sharp, attractive, and great on gas mileage. It also has great lifespan for a car. Mine has 345k miles and still smooth sailing. 2-5 seats in the cars and extremely comfortable and safe. A lot of comfortable space and leg room for sure and much space for luggage and anything else you may think of.

Hi, angry and disappointed Infiniti customer here. I purchased my 2004 Infiniti Fx35 back in 2011. I was very happy with my vehicle until I came back from boot camp. U.S Marines and noticed that my dashboard was bubbling up all over. It look ugly. I feel embarrassed to give people rides. I dont like this car anymore. I did some research about this, and found out that I was not alone. There are hundreds of Infiniti customers who are on the same boat as I am. Most of them took advantage of the extended warranty, which I did not know anything about, did not receive a letter, was not notified until it was already too late.I called my dealership where I bought the vehicle, and they simply said I needed to pay a little over $1,000 to have it replaced. Thats ridiculous! And a little crazy. Like I mentioned above, I am not a happy customer. Called the Infiniti customer affairs number, and they were not willing to help with this matter issue. Case closed. Im screwed.

In the last 22 years, 3 of my 5 cars have been an Infiniti. Two I have owned for 3 years with low mileage under 32,000 miles. The last G35 I still own is about 7 years old with only 42,000 miles right now. As a loyal Infiniti owner, the dealership in Coconut Creek, FL said I may qualify for their goodwill loyalty program, but I needed to contact their Customer Affairs division. I contacted Customer Affairs and they requested proof (VIN, etc.) that I had owned the two other vehicles besides the one I currently own. These vehicles were owned 10 to 22 years ago! Well, I found a picture of the M30 from 1990 and a copy of the title for the Q45 from 2000 with the VIN number, which I provided. Upon review by Customer Affairs and the dealership here in FL, it was decided that because Infiniti could not find any information in their system that I had maintenance done at their dealerships and because I did not have the the VIN for the M30, they would not be able to help me. What does maintenance have to do with a defective dash? I keep all my vehicles in prestige condition and waxed and have regular oil changes/maintenance done as needed. Just because I did not have my maintenance done through Infiniti is ** and to expect me to even have information on the two older vehicles was ridiculous. I was lucky to even find what I did as proof that I owned a total of 3 other Infiniti cars. The repair to replace the dash may have cost the company $1,000 at the most. I guess my business wasnt that important. The dash ended up getting sticky and omitting unhealthy vapors that left a film on my windshield. This is not normal and has never happened to any of my cars or to anyone else that I know of. This was a true defect that just happen to occur after my car was out of warranty. Also, the unhealthy vapors the dash was omitting seemed to be of no concern at all or my health. Has anyone else experienced this same sort of issue? With all this said, goodbye Infiniti, hello BMW, Jaguar, Lexus and Mercedes. They would be happy to have my business when I buy a new vehicle in 2013. Not a great outcome or customer appreciation resolution.

I paid nearly $80K for a new 2014 Infiniti QX80. From the day I got the new SUV there was a issue with the Bluetooth not connected well with my IPhone. They told me that they could not do anything even though the car is 5 mos old and had barely $6K miles. They said to complain at the Consumer Affairs so that Either Infiniti or Apple company will work the quirks of the IPhone to better link with Infiniti. I paid lot of money to suffer with bad connections or no connection to listen to Audio from my IPhone.

My car was stolen. The insurance company sent to Infiniti more than the car was worth and refuses to give any money back, even though I put a large downpayment. Horrible company!! Thieves!! Everyone knows a car depreciates as soon as you drive it off the lot. Do not lease through Infiniti ever.

I took my car in to the Plaza Infiniti dealership to have recall for airbag replaced which I was told would take 2-3 hours. I was provided a loaner car. Mechanic called 5 hours later requesting if I wanted additional work done on car. My flood light changed, and that they had completed the recall and just need to place the dashboard back on. I didnt receive a call back that day on Monday. I called, left advisor voicemail to see if car was ready. The next day on Tuesday no one called and I called several times and left voicemail. No one return my call. Wednesday around noon advisor called and advised that my dashboard had been damaged during replacing recall, and the dashboard was on back order and I would get a call when it comes in. I was like really, no one advised me this on Monday or Tuesday, these huge hole like the vents in dashboard.Consumer Affairs with infiniti has been no help. There are others waiting on dashboard replacements since back in March. Nowhere in the recall letter do the alert this could possibly happen to your vehicle. I am seeking justice because this is not right. I also called a dealership who advised that the dashboard for M35 has been discontinued. The part is not even in production so how are you promising consumers that this will be fixed.

For those of you that have the dreaded bubbling dash there is good news. Infiniti issued a recall on the dash problem to be repaired at no expense to the owner. I had an 07 fx35 and the dash bubbled in 2010. Had it replaced and received a warranty for 85000 miles or 8 years. The drivers seat tearing is another issue. They will not fix that, nor will they fix the power seat gear issue.

We bought a QX 56 in 2006. We have had numerous problems. On August 24, 2016 my brakes failed with my children in the car. It felt like air popping and my car jerked and shook a few times. The brakes went to the floor. The brake light did illuminate. After restarting the car everything was completely normal! Infiniti denies the 100s of brake failure complaints. Death trap. https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/

Nissan Infiniti has many features like lane assistant when you get off a lane, and has a nine inch touchscreen with Android auto to control stuff you normally do on your Android phone like Google maps, YouTube, take calls and etc. It is touchscreen so you can fill it with all kinds of widgets from the play store. It takes very little gasoline and is the fastest most reliable car. It also has active wipers in bad weather and self parking assistance. You can personalize the dashboard at the front of the vehicle. The seats covers can be changed into aftermarket ones. And the tires are customizable like always. The user capacity is the same like any other four door sedan. Mostly three or four can fit in the back and a person in the front passenger seat. The driver seat and the passenger seats have more dedicated foot room.

Im just simply writing about my defective dashboard. I purchase my 2006 G35 Coupe pre owned a couple years ago. Little over a year ago the dashboard started melting along with cracking. If it was something that wasnt noticeable, I wouldnt really care. However, its a conversation piece that you dont want to talk about because its pretty embarrassing. I keep my car in shaded areas along with having a garage. If I knew of the matter I would have never purchased my 3rd Infiniti. I have always spoken highly of the Infiniti brand until this simple problem that Infiniti wished to close the eyes to. I dont imagine anything to be resolved. I have research other forums in regards to others trying to start action, a class action suit, and gave my contact information in the event that something does come out of it! Going forward, I will surely NOT talk any good about the Brand Infiniti.

2015 Infiniti QX60 - Probably the worst car I have ever had. A basic station wagon with a weak engine and sloppy transmission. No power, horrible brakes, handling. The tires are the worst. I hydroplane all the time in rain. Absolutely no traction in the snow even in snow mode. Making a buzzing and whistling sound like our 2013 JX did.

My 2003 G35 Coupe has had numerous issues. I purchased this vehicle in 05 with 21,000 miles and immediately noticed a break recall. Thankfully dealership handled that, however that should have been a telltale sign. After the two motors went out on my windows, alternator, cam shafts, sun roof off track, AC compressor, DR2 headlights ($210/each). Ive finally experience the ultimate issue when my GPS/AC/radio unit went out. Well sort of. The navigation and radio systems are both powered off and the AC unit is always on high. Besides paying $2000 extra just because I wanted the navigation system, I am now averaging about 14 mpg thanks to my uncontrollable AC unit. After paying $29,000 for my car and now not having the expendable cash to maintain my vehicle. There it sits while the paint job oxidation is progressing. Infiniti if youre out there PLEASE REDEEM YOURSELVES AND MY FAITH AND PIMP MY RIDE.
