Infiniti Automobile Model 2013 G
I purchased the new q50 right when they were released. Over the past year it has required multiple repairs. The computer system has been replaced twice, the door sensing modules break. The radio continues to intermittently work. Most recently the clock went dead and again required service. Additionally it squeaks on the inside. I have attempted to have this repaired but the dealership cannot hear the issue. The dealer informed me the car was a lemon and that I should report it to Consumer Affairs. I truly wish I purchased a Mercedes, although I have had an infiniti for a long time.
I have changed my car battery 3-4 times for the past 7month. My battery kept dying and if a car (G35/03) is not in use for one day, the car wont start! The A/C starts on its own to the max and it doesnt allow me to stop it. The radio doesnt work at all and CDs got stuck in the CD player for almost one year.I have read other forums which surprisingly, other people had same issues. Therefore, I am urging the Customer Affairs to please, please take this matter seriously since the battery drainage is connected to the wires. You can imagine if something goes wrong with the wires, what would happen to the driver? This is a safety issue. The Miller Infiniti dealership told me that the stereo system is an Infiniti issue and they knew about it. Im quite surprised that the manufacturer knows about the wiring issue and still failed to do something about it or make a recall. There are many costumers that were told that the battery drain is a result of amplifier and radio wires.
We bought our 2008 G35X new. At 23K miles (mostly highway), we started getting warning lights for VDC off, slip and brakes. It was still under warranty, so I took it to the dealer (Dorschel Infiniti of Rochester) who said they had to charge me for the inspection if they couldnt find anything wrong. After inspecting, they said the only problems were that the rear pads had only 2mm left and the fronts 4mm. They strongly recommended a brake job for $379 per each axle. I was an automotive engineer for 20 years so I questioned this, but was told that 25K miles was normal for rear brakes and 27K miles normal for fronts. Given the long and horrible history weve had with this dealership, I was more than a little skeptical.I contacted Infiniti customer service, who told me that 30K miles was normal brake life and they werent going to do anything. She also said that she just had a similar complaint, so she recently checked into it. When I told them that they were about to lose a customer, the rep asked if there was anything they could do to keep us. When I said, Yes, replace my brakes, she said they wouldnt because brakes are wear items and arent covered by warranty at all.
Nissan Infiniti has many features like lane assistant when you get off a lane, and has a nine inch touchscreen with Android auto to control stuff you normally do on your Android phone like Google maps, YouTube, take calls and etc. It is touchscreen so you can fill it with all kinds of widgets from the play store. It takes very little gasoline and is the fastest most reliable car. It also has active wipers in bad weather and self parking assistance. You can personalize the dashboard at the front of the vehicle. The seats covers can be changed into aftermarket ones. And the tires are customizable like always. The user capacity is the same like any other four door sedan. Mostly three or four can fit in the back and a person in the front passenger seat. The driver seat and the passenger seats have more dedicated foot room.
I recently purchased a 2008 Infiniti G35. It was in great condition all around except for some interior paint that was coming off on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel. I figured this was from normal wear and tear and I can live with it. I could possibly fix it up later down the road. Well after having the car for about a month, I noticed that I had paint coming off in my hands when I drove to and from work. I work about 11 miles from my home, only about a 15 min drive. Not far. The paint on the inside door handles and on the steering wheel was a rubber type of back paint, and it was literally coming off in my hands most of the time when I drove. Not normal wear and tear. I did a little research on this problem and it turns out this is a known problem with 07 and 08 and it was fixed in late 08 and 09 models. Great, Ill take it in since Im still under warranty and have them fix it. Before I take it in, I called Infiniti USA, their customer service number, and talked to a lady on the phone and told her about my issue. She told me that she has seen this before. It is a known defect, and to just take it into my local dealership and they will replace the parts. I read about this online and it was the answer I was expecting so I said thanks. The next day, I drove to Tim Dahle Infiniti in Salt Lake City. When I got there, I am told that this is wear and tear and is not covered. I explained that this is not normal wear and tear and is a known defect. He says he can no longer cover this issue, and when Infiniti has done it in the past, it was under a goodwill clause where they do it only for people that have had a long history with Infiniti. The service manager recommends that I contact Infiniti USA to see if they can approve it to be done. Well, I explained that I had already contacted them and they said to just bring it in. We gave them a call again. I get a different story this time, and have to file a request to have a specialist get back to me about this issue. About a week later, I get a call saying this will not be honored or covered under the manufacturers warranty. I specifically came from an Acura TL that I had previously owned to Infiniti because of this lightly better engine specs and on the recommendation of several friends and family members that have Infiniti, but I never had an issue like this with Acura. For a $40,000 car, you would expect a car dealer to honor the warranty that they put on the car, especially for an issue that is well known and documented. They even changed the interior paint in newer models so this problem doesnt happen anymore. With plenty of records online of people having this taken care of under warranty, I find it hard to believe they can do it for some cars and not for all. I am extremely unhappy with how this had turned out. I am hoping Infiniti learns from this and will cover it eventually but well see. For now, I will not recommend Infiniti to anyone again. If anyone knows of a way to convince them to cover this, or any other advice, I would love to hear about it.
I love my Infiniti. There is plenty of easy access to great seat belts and tinted windows. The car has a very long life for its battery. You receive a couple year warranty. The car lives up to all internal an external expectations. The quality of each accessory of the car and its internal parts speak very high of the car industry in general. You can fit 2-6 people in this car comfortably. Lots and lots of leg room and each seat is heated when its cold and cool to the touch when its hot out. The safety features rank 1 in the future car industry. Lexus, Audi, Buick cars that I felt would live up to my expectations of cars in the future didnt make or meet my approval.
The company offers different variety of models so you can find one to fit your needs no matter what your priority is when buying a car at a worthy price for a great traveling vehicle. I wanted something safe to get me from one place to another and the car I got is very sleek and looks very fancy - like the bat mobile but safer and kids love it too! Theres a variety of colors available for inside and outside of the car and its easy to identify in a crowded parking lot. It fits about as much as most small cars - two in front including the driver and 3 in the back. When necessary it can fit more realistically.
I like reading the reviews posted by so many Infiniti owners and its sad that so many people have experienced tardy customer service via their dealers or the manufacturer. Im prone to skipping past reviews of vehicles 5 years or older as the service history is unknown, therefore focus on 4 years (the age of my Infiniti ex30) or new models as Im considering trading up.CUSTOMER SERVICE: It would seem that customer service is quite poor in the USA compared to England. My local dealer (Stockport, Greater Manchester) do a great job and in particular the Service Manager (James **) personally ensures that his customers are happy with the service they received. In my last review a year ago I mentioned that Infiniti had increased the price of a SatNaV update from £100 ($120) to £400 but when James read that he offered me the update for the original price when I come in for my next service - thats due in a few weeks so Ill be holding him to that.MILES: I bought the car with 13000 miles on the clock, it was a year old. Two years later and a further 45000 miles added I was concerned about its resale value but was pleasantly surprised that the residual had increased. I was offered £12,000 as a trade in, the car cost £20000 so not bad. Further, I was worried that I was killing my car with the style of driving and the distance but was assured by James that the car was running perfectly and would require brakes only at the next service - so Im happy about that.NEW: I would like a new or newer car; Ive looked at many options amongst the Infinity range as well as others like Nexus, Land Rover, BMW & Audi and I keep gravitating back to Infiniti - why Customer Service, reliability, & feel good factor when I drive it. I have not liked my options with Infinity to date based on cost, design and MPG compared to a BMW 3 or 5 series. I get on average 35 from my 3ltr EX30 diesel and I think its that high because generally I accrue miles on longer distance runs on highways (motorways if youre British) and we pay (the lowest in 3 years - $8 a gallon) so MPGs is a motivator to change. Ive decided to wait for the new version of the 4x4 EX30 expected out in October 2016 but will wait a little longer and try to buy a demonstrator as that can save lots.
I have this car for about a month, took it twice to the dealership for the loud wind leaking noise on both front doors (when driving at 70mph or more). They loaned me a similar car which dont have the same issue. They tested twice and confirmed that it makes the loud sound. Tech adjusted the doors to no avail. Second time they said that they called Corporate but there is nothing to do, it a factory defect and I have to live with it. Looking for options, including a lawyer.
I purchased a used 2004 G35 Coupe about a year ago. Just found it on a lot and loved the look and it had extremely low miles. It looks and rides fabulous. It’s got a lot of go when you need it. For a 6 cup anyway. Got rear ended and not a scratch. The front end got clipped at an intersection and Im amazed at how little damage there was. Seems to be a really well built vehicle. I’d love to get a newer model, but acted pricey for my budget. Maybe someday.
I own a 2014 Infiniti Q50 and have been having persistence and regular issues with its two dashboard interface screens. I have the Infiniti warranty and have taken the car for repair multiple times, contacted the Infiniti Consumer Affairs and tried to come to some sort of resolution or a buy back offer, but have been unsuccessful. I have been a long time loyal Infiniti customer since 1994. I currently own two Infiniti cars and have owned 4 infiniti vehicles so far. But now with this lack of resolution of such basic quality problems in a luxury brand, has left me wondering if I should switch brand to one that would support their loyal customers.
Temperature control unit - A/C turns itself on at highest speed and becomes stuck. I can feel the effect/pull that this has on the engine. Also, audio unit screen goes blank while playing and cannot be adjusted or shutoff until engine is turned off. Both units, inoperable. Problem sometimes ceases and sometimes persists with engine re-start. [Im also concerned with the safety hazard of the drain of power (on battery/alternator) if both units are involuntarily running full power, if not able to pull over and shut off car. The car has now stalled once while at a traffic light, following the onset of this problem.]I took the vehicle to my mechanic and was informed of a voluntary recall and presented with the paperwork. Campaign ID#: P3104 - Voluntary Service Campaign Audio Finisher Circuit Board. Applied Vehicle: 2003 G35 Sedan (V35). Dealer Responsibility. After numerous times being told (via phone call) that there was no recall, I informed the dealer (Warranty Manager) that I was looking at (and citing from) the voluntary recall paperwork. After spending much time on hold, the Warranty Manager confirmed the recall. I was ultimately informed that my vehicle did not fall within the VIN #s for the first 23,600 vehicles built. Therefore, my vehicle did not qualify for repair under the recall. I was told that there was nothing I could do under the parameters of this recall. I asked for a quote for the repair. Estimated: $700 parts and labor. When I asked if there was anything else I could do, I was suggested to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs. So here I am.
We purchased a used 2015 QX80 with 65,000 miles on it. We did love the car and was an amazing ride till this week. We had some issues and it was running very rough and the engine light came on. So we had it towed to a local shop and he said the codes it was pulling it was something internal (P0011 & P0021) and we needed to have it looked at from a dealer. So the Local Nissan diagnosed it as stretched timing chains. They said it was right about $4000 to fix it. So this car just has 105,000 miles on it and we paid nearly $38,000 for it. So I have a car that I paid nearly $40,000 dollars for it, I have only put 40 thousand miles on it and I have to put $4,000 into it to get it running. I called the Infiniti Consumer affairs and got nothing but sorry. I explained that I have a stay at home mom with 5 kids and we are on a very tight budget, etc. She then said that I would have to have it towed to Infiniti instead of Nissan???? Same company? They said they cannot have Nissan look at it and this was done by one of their master mechanics. So this means tow it a third time with and pay another diagnose fee for what? Infiniti should step up to the plate here. I asked the girl I spoke with to give me a supervisor and she said there were none. She was reading from a script as you could tell just to get you off the phone. I then asked her how she would feel if you purchased a car for 40,000 dollars and only got 40K out of it and now have to put 4 thousand dollars into it. She said she could not reflect on that? This is what customer service departments have come to? No emotions or anything. Just firmly I cant reflect? I said, (ask your CEO or director how they would feel if their mom of 5 was going through this). Again nothing. After doing research, this is a problem that Infiniti knows about but is doing nothing. Just look around on some blogs and you will find them. As well there are issues with the catalytic converters at $1,300 a piece for both sides. I was just wanting them to do whats right and stand by the product. I am a sales manager that travels the US and trust me that I will share this story with every individual I come in contact with. In my business I tell my people to treat people right and they will come back every time... Treat people like you want to be treated and you just built a successful business. I cannot believe this company and its products. We will never purchase another Infiniti or Nissan and I will make sure my kids remember what we are going through when they make their decisions for a car. I will share this story at every sales meeting, and while visiting clients for sure!!!
I have problem with Infiniti service in Cletendon Hills. Car still on warranty but service...no one admit this car has little bigger problem with alignment. Every time Im dropping off, car alignment is off. It is so bad, right front tire has to be replaced. My question is not how much off is alignment, where is reason why alignment is so much off? Im talking about adjusting four-five times every year. Car is three years old with 23200 miles.
Called Infiniti to report the problem about my fx 35. They refuse to fix and just blow you off. How IM going buy high-end car and with four years it start to fall apart? The dashboard is split in several area and the covering start to fall off. I had a honda for many years and must say I never a had problem. Infiniti dont care about their customer. If we dont buy these car then Infiniti corporate go under and I wont stop until they fix my car.
I havent had my car a year. The CD player wasnt working when I purchased it. I found out that the circuit board was defective. The dealer says it was replaced in 03 but the problem still exists. It will cost over $1200 to replace the entire thing. I feel as if I was sold a lemon due to when the 7-point inspection was done, this issue wasnt brought to my attention. Now Im stuck with a useless car and will never buy another Infiniti as long as I live.
This car is a gem. It is so good for just casual driving or for any kind of long trips to vacation spots or in general. I use my model of Ultima Infiniti to help me get around the whole world cause it is just that beast. It is very fast, coordinated, good, and very powerful in the engine. It is very bright, colorful and very cool. It is great.
I purchased a 2013 Infiniti JX35 in Metairie Louisiana. 3 years later the wheels/rims started to peel. I contacted Consumer Affairs for Infiniti and was told it was because of environmental conditions. I live in the south, where there is no snow. Even so, no weather condition could have done this in just 3 years. They just did not want to admit their product was flawed. Not one of my other vehicles had this happen. Take it from me, for the money...buy Lexus or better yet Tesla but NEVER INFINITI!!!
Brought my car in for regular maintenance, was told airbag switch (OCS) needs replacing - $4,100. Airbags will not function. Told the entire front passenger seat would be replaced. No other means of repair. NHTSA issued recall 7/8/08 for this exact item. My cars make, model and year ARE listed on the NHSTA website as being covered. Infiniti Corp tells me it is NOT covered. Issue elevated to Eric ** in Infiniti Consumer Affairs Dep’t who refused any kind of assistance because car is out of warranty - ignoring the NHTSA campaign entirely. Mr. ** refuses to even discuss why NHTSA would include my car in the campaign but Infiniti does not. They will not do the repair at cost, or at a reduced price, or give it any further consideration whatsoever. Car has been meticulously maintained and all required services completed throughout life of my 2008 EX35 Journey. Took four days for Infiniti Consumer Affairs to make a decision, while dealership hassled me to return loaner car before the matter was handled by Corporate. Worst Customer Service Ever.
I purchased my 1st Infiniti almost 2 years ago. I have spent more time in a loaner car than the car I purchased. The motor has to replaced at 37K miles. The head gasket has been replaced twice and my car is currently back in the shop again. The car has left me stranded twice! This is a manufacturer defect! I guess my safety and wellbeing is not a concern for Infiniti or the BBB. Im assuming I would need to get injured or possibly killed in this car (lemon) before Infiniti will acknowledge the obvious defect. Infiniti/Nissan pride themselves on having award-winning Customer Service. I unfortunately would need disagree as this is the first Infiniti I have owned and the Customer Service/concern I have received has been anything but award winning!
They offer something to fit every budget and taste, from sporty coupes all the way to versatile sport utility vehicles. Very attractive styles and refined product. Also a very elite brand so it speaks of status. They offer all the latest technology including wifi and Bluetooth. Roomy and spacious for a comfortable and enjoyable ride or drive. Plenty of leg room and overall passenger comfort. I would definitely suggest everyone give them a try before buying any other brand.
I regret the day I ever set foot on an Infiniti dealership lot. In 2008 I purchased a 2008 FX35 SUV and have experienced way too many issues to write. The carpet did not wear well & holes began to appear, the dash bubbled & was recalled, my cup holder cover has broken, the middle compartment cover has broken, the hatch became non-functional. Brakes dont last more than a few months before they have to be replaced. Now the motor that controls the driver seat has stopped working. I only have 57k miles on this vehicle & it is literally falling apart before my eyes despite how much Ive taken excellent care of it. Im so disappointed & encourage EVERYONE I come in contact with to NEVER purchase an Infiniti. This is my 2nd Infinifi purchase , but NEVER AGAIN!!!!! There is no such thing as service after the sale with Infiniti. You are just stuck with a SOUR LEMON.
I have problem with the service that I have received in the company. I went to the service to check the check engine light. They said that I need cork on my car I did. The light is on now. It said that I need a new battery, I did it. The light is still on. I had to pay the Infiniti service 250 dollar just to tell everything that was not working I did it, all the work. Now my car still have the light on. I am very upset about this it was all wrong. I went to service people and said that I have to pay again to have it check all over again. I feel that just because I am a woman they are gave me a runaround. I want talk to the supervisor. They said that person was not there. This company is the company I like but now I think I will buy a car in another Buick. I did this a month ago.
I love my Infiniti sedan. I bought it used at 85k miles. I have zero problems with it. Just regular maintenance which is reasonable. It rides beautifully. It’s pretty. I would love to get a new one.
2015 Infiniti Q40 + ANDROID PHONE??? RUN! This sophisticated brand is actually worse than their Nissan version of the car... 2015 and you cant stream music from anything except Apple devices?!? Ludicrous... Not only that, but performance wise this car sucks. Loud rattling engine when given power, outdated audio and controls screen, horrible defrost... The list could go on and on. Nissan motors corporation should honestly clean house and figure out a new strategy... Flooding the market with your chintzy product- which severely decreases trade in values for owners, paired with outdated features and technology is one way to lose your following... I used to have Infiniti on a higher pedestal... Now when people ask how I like it or that theyve considered buying one, I tell them this piece of garbage is a base Altima... Buy a Lexus, Acura, Toyota or Honda... Pffttt... Buy a freaking Chevy Cruze for a better driver experience. Way to go Infiniti. You suck.
There are so many varieties. Im a very big fan of this brand and I have been a fan since the first time I laid eyes on this particular model. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a great car at a great price. The appearance is the best. Its interior styling is suited for anyone with class and style. The overall smooth touch of this vehicle sticks out from any other model. There are many upgrades from having a sunroof added to having leather seats put in. You can also have a front or rear camera added if needed. The passenger capacity has enough room inside for luggage and passenger. You can even carry a pet if you like. The seats adjust just fine.
They have everything you need with the comfort of a Cadillac! You can choose from a fast lil coupes to a family car. If you need a truck they have a great pickup truck and if you want something for a bigger family but still fun you can get the Escalade hybrid. All these vehicles are made for people just like us with all the qualities of living the high life. The coupes is a 2 Door which you can get with drop top. It has 348hp and 7 speed automatic. The Z62 is a great luxury SUV. 5 doors, 5.6 liter engine, V8 32-valve. Lets not forget the Skyline, fun lil car can come in so many styles. My favorite is the 3.0 liter VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6, 6 speed manual. It may have 4 doors but it is sleek and fun. You can choose 7 speed automatic or 6 speed manual, dont forget convertible and always has comfort. You can go turbo charged or twin-turbo and diesel I4 if you choose. Depending on what you would want you can go from 2 door coupes which seats 2 to 4 people or 4 door for the sedan - 4 or 5 people, and all the way to 5 door SUV - 4 people all the way to 7 people.
5 months out of warranty my 2010 Infiniti G37 dash has started melting and is sticky. The car was purchased brand new and the dash has only been cleaned with a dry cloth to remove lint. Two days ago I noticed a spot on the dash that had completely melted and then noticed the two small cracks on the passenger side. I have submitted my information for the class action lawsuit. Ive also had the driver seat leather replaced due to discoloration after 3 years of use and the exterior paint is chipping. This will be my first and last Infiniti.
The Infiniti QX60 has great safety features, but the Navigation/Bluetooth is still in the ox-cart Stone Age. Getting driving instructions also slow and tedious, compared to GMC Onstar, which answers the phone immediately, compared to long wait with Infiniti. And, GMC downloads instructions immediately, compared to tedious, roundabout method with Infiniti. If it were not for the excellent features, I would stick GMC and OnStar, which are far superior to Infiniti.
Ive owned my QX60 for less than three months and after less than 3k miles the bottom portion of the drivers seat no longer heats or cools, however, the back part does. I took it for warranty work to the Infiniti dealership in Silver Spring, MD and they told me that the seat immediately worked for them which I know is a lie because amazingly it didnt work after I got back in the car. They said they hooked it up to the computer and the computer showed it was working properly, however, they never showed me the computer results nor did they show me that the seat worked. In addition to the seat not working properly the rear windshield sprayer was clogged and they blamed it on the dealership who sold it to me. They unclogged it, but it still doesnt spray, it just shoots out washer fluid. Buying this vehicle was a waste of my money and I shouldve known better than to purchase another Nissan product considering I owned an Altima several years ago and the alternator went bad with only 30k miles. In addition, the CD player in the Altima would jam anytime a CD with a paper label on it was put in it. They replaced the CD changed once, but the 2nd time it happened it was out of warranty and they wouldnt replace it. Based on that I should never have purchased another Nissan product and I wont ever again. The only reason I didnt purchase an MDX is because it cost several thousand more, but it wouldve been worth paying the extra thousands because thats probably what Ill spend on the QX60 after the warranty is up.
I have a 2008 G37 under warranty until 9/17/2012. My drivers side floor was experiencing a leak. When I went to the Infiniti dealership of Manhattan, I was informed that the car door had either been worked on or it had been into an accident (an accident on the top of the front door? Pretty sure the Mr. ** was making up excuses to charge me). Mr. ** then proceeded to say that the window is not put in the right spot and is very complicated to get it fixed. The cost was going to be $285. I declined as I see this as red flag. He then told me I have to pay the $139 diagnostic fee, which is unacceptable. I was in no mood to get cheated as I see this as one. I then told him I did not have the means to pay for it. Luckily, he was nice enough to take care of that for me. This company policy practice is unfriendly. How can a luxury brand like Infiniti have such poor customer service?
Im an FX 35 owner and Im going insane with the way my dashboard is looking! I noticed four months ago my dashboard had two or three bubbles and as the weather got hotter, my dashboard got worst. Im in need of some advice as to what I can do about this situation. I bought my Infiniti FX35 34,332 k four years ago!
Absolutely appalled at the customer service experience I have had with Infiniti Consumer Affairs. This is my second Infiniti and I always used to rave about how amazing the cars were and how quality the materials used in them were and that has all changed now that Im having issues with my current car. I bought a pre-owned 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible with only 1 previous owner and garage kept. I have always used sun visors in my cars to protect the dashboard as much as possible. Over the summer one day when I was taking the visor down one was completely stuck as if it had been glued to my dashboard. I had to tug extremely hard for it to finally come off. I then noticed it was very sticky as if it was melting and extremely shiny. The shine creates a glare/reflection on the windshield which is very dangerous and impairs vision when driving.I went to my local Nissan dealership as the Infiniti dealership was close when I got off work. The 2 service advisors who helped me were extremely helpful and when I asked about the dashboard they immediately knew what I was talking about. They let me know that it has been a common issue amongst many 2008-2009 Nissans and that they have been having to direct consumers to consumer affairs in order to get further assistance. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs and they let me know that I have to speak with Infiniti Consumer Affairs as my car is an Infiniti. I then called the Infiniti Consumer Affairs number and after speaking with the FL Regional Manager Korby/Corby not sure how her name is spelled, she let me know there was nothing they would do to help. Extremely surprised that I was offered no assistance or guidance on a remedy for the situation.I asked again what can be done as this is a manufacture default and should absolutely be a recall and was given no resolution. She only apologized that the outcome was not favorable to me. How ridiculous? I expect that from a lower end non luxury car manufacturer, but never from Infiniti. Something should be done for the many consumers affected by the manufacturer’s poor material use. When I touch it with my finger a layer of black sticky residue comes off. Its horrible. I cant even clean it or get rid of the sticky shiny residue because anything I use will just stick to it. After researching, I found this is an issue for many other Infiniti G37 owners. I am awaiting a call from someone higher than the Regional Manager, so we will see if I even hear back from someone. I am so disappointed with Infiniti.I will be further complaining to the dealership I purchased from, Infiniti of Tampa Bay who probably knew about this issue when the car was sold to me. Hopefully this issue doesnt become worse and cause any accidents for anyone or else Infiniti will be dealing with lawsuits when they could have done the right thing and fixed their mistake. I cant wait to get rid of this car and move on to a real luxury car and will be telling anyone and everyone my story and to stay away from Infiniti.I even found this complaint from a gentleman online and I agree with him 100%. Numerous consumers have been complaining about the lack of quality, specifically in the 2008-2009 dashboard components of the Infiniti G37. There have been reports of melting and sticky dashboards as a result of poor build quality. These dashboards are costly to replace and should not be the responsibility of the consumer. Infiniti needs to step forward and back the quality claims of their brand and own up to this production flaw.
We purchased 2 Infiniti sedans at the same time last year. We were sold on the hassle free prepaid maintenance plan. It sounded like a great option. If you use it, you pay no additional charges, if you dont use it and decide to trade the car, youre able to get your money back...Sounded great and we purchased the plan with both vehicles. However we decided to trade in one of the cars at an alternate dealer about a year after purchase and we returned to Infiniti of Cool Springs to start the refund with John ** in Finance. The car in question was rarely driven and never even reached the first dealer free initial service mileage requirements, so I expected to get the full refund, however I was told its prorated based on time not use of the product, so I agreed to the prorated refund of a product never used. Needless to say, what was supposed to be a 30 day refund period has now rolled into the 6th month of working with John ** who became non responsive at the dealer level and I ultimately had to escalate to Infiniti Consumer Affairs. To date I have yet to receive a refund. Buyers beware of this prepaid maintenance plan if you remotely think youll trade the car prior to the plans full use.
Junk, no other way to describe these cars, just junk. Ill never own another one. I told my wife we should have bought a Lexus, but no... With only 15k miles already they want to screw me out of over $250 telling me my rotors are bad and thats just the front! What are they made out of? Plastic?
So I bought a 99 Infiniti G20 with only 80,000 miles on it. I knew it needed TLC however, I had no idea the manufacturers decided to no longer make important safety parts and the dealers offered no choices other than go to a junkyard. Any intelligent person knows some things you shouldnt ever purchase secondhand!!! I was going to buy a newer one when my son graduated HS however, I no longer want anything to do with this vehicle. I have found few and far aftermarket items. I cant believe an axle assy more specifically the kingpin bearing is nowhere to be found. I AM AT A LOSS FOR BOTH ME AND MY CUSTOMERS ATM!
I bought my Infiniti last September 2014. Until now June 2014 it been like 8 time I have to go to the garage for update system, rust, repaint, frozen brake... A lot of problems.
A customer for 14 years. Leased 5 cars through Infiniti and all I can say is... They have no loyalty and dont seems to give a ** about you as a customer. They misapplied a payment to someone else account ruining my credit score 30 days before I was to close on a house. That started a snowball effect of wrong information and just bad customer service and took 4-5 months before it was cleared up and corrected by the Credit bureaus. After all that I still considered getting another vehicle through them...Being the victim of misinformation once again from one of their customer service supervisors. Multiple attempts to resolve and salvage our relationship were met with nothing but long at min 20-30 min hold times. Leaving messages with supervisors that never get back to you. They just dont seem to care. After being a customer as long as I have been they can suck it. Ill just take my business elsewhere.
My black Infiniti began having paint issues. At first I thought it was damaged by something in the environment, etc. But upon inspection, you could clearly see the distinct outlines of the decals that had been placed on the car years earlier. The damage began there has now spread over entire car. I dont know if the paint or clearcoat had a chemical reaction to the paint or perhaps the decals prevented the coating from doing its job or perhaps the solvent sprayed on to remove the decals had some kind of effect. I researched on the internet and found several other issues of the transportation decals causing delayed paint failure on Infiniti vehicles. It is obvious from photos that the damage is not random or naturally occurring.
I got an amazing car and service. They have a wide range of models from sporty to family cars and they have great features as well. And they look great on the outside and inside. I have a midsize sedan and its fully loaded. I have the available features it came with and its amazing enough. Its a beautiful black car with sunroof and push auto start with navigation. Its also great on gas and is very spacious with leather seats. The seats warm up as well and sits enough people for me. My family is a family of four and its good to have enough room. Its also comfortable. And I have wireless phone and can make calls without using my phone. Its Bluetooth connected!
I have an Infiniti with transmission problems. Visits and calls to the dealer gave no resolutions. I was told this is a manufacturer issue, but they offered no resolution. Now, the car is stuck just outside of warranty, with the same issues, and at my own expense.
I leased an Infiniti JX35 on July 13, 2013. I absolutely loved the vehicle up until February of 2015. In February, I noticed the brake pedal would occasionally sink down almost to the floor when stopping. The pedal would also from time to time start sinking down when I was stopped at a traffic light or stopped In traffic. The car would start to roll if I didnt continue to apply more pressure to the pedal when I was stopped. The real concern was that the brake problem was intermittent, it didnt happen consistently. In February 2015, I took the vehicle to the dealership and they said there was a problem with the Master cylinder, so they replaced it. Upon receiving the car back, the brakes operated normally for only a week. After one week the brake problem returned. I called the dealership and they asked me to bring the car in as soon as I can, so I did in March 2015. The dealership claims they could not get the brakes to repeat this problem. I was now even communicating with the shop foreman, who said to me one time he felt something happen similar to what I was saying, but it happened only once. I went back and forth with the dealership in March. In April, they received authorization to change the ABS controller. After changing the abs controller, the brake problem appeared to be gone. The brake problem returned again in August of 2015 and again of course it is intermittent. It doesnt happen when Im stopped anymore, it just happens when Im stopping. If I dont continue to increase the pressure I apply to the brakes when they sink the car will not stop. The dealership took the car in, kept it for over a week, changed the brake pads and said they could not repeat the problem. They even told me at one time that this is the way the brakes operate on these vehicles. I immediately responded by informing them that these brakes did not operate like this the first 1 1/2 years I was driving it. My daughter drives my car frequently and she even came to me and asked me why do the brakes get so soft occasionally. I chose Infiniti because of their advertised HIGH standards of excellence. Theyre supposed to compare in quality to Lexus, Acura and Mercedes. Well, Ive owned 3 Mercedes in my lifetime and their customer service and quality is second to none. My face to face customer service experience with KM Infiniti has been good, however, they have not been able to fix the issues with my JX35. The quality of this vehicle is on the same level as a Nissan. Not only have had issues with the brakes, but Ive had the rubber gasket on the roof rack come loose, Ive had to replace the driver side sun visor.I chose this car because I wanted a car I could depend on when my grandchildren get into it. I wanted a car I could have confidence in for safety. I have just about every option available on this car and thought it would be a safe car for my family to drive in. As it stands now I am extremely dissatisfied with this car and it doesnt appear Infiniti knows how to fix it! This car is a Lemon!
I just bought a new Infiniti 2015 Q50. The car is advertised to give me 19 mpg in city, 29 mpg highway and a combined 22mpg city-highway. This vehicle gives me a highway mpg of 12mpg. I drove the car for 1.5 hr just to test it and it did not improve. I took the car to the dealer I originally bought from and they say that the EPA reviews and that they are not responsible for that review. I believe that is unreal for a car to provide less than half mpg than what it suppose to. I called Infiniti and they said the same thing and only provided me with few tips on how to improve it.Also my front passenger seat makes a weird sound (something loose) when I head a pothole. The dealer said that all Q50 makes the same sound and there is nothing they can do in that case. Its a manufacturer problem. I have been with the car for just a month and I am not happy. I would not recommend purchasing this car. I am paying a lot of money to have this type of issue.
I bought a used 2005 G35. Being that it was used, I got the Infiniti Premier warranty. Ha. After a short time of driving the car, I complained of engine noise. They said the car was fine. I had the check engine light come on, so I took the car back. They said, Its just low on oil. I was concerned because the oil had just been changed 2,400 miles earlier. Four thousand miles later, the engine spun a bearing, and I took it to them and said there was a problem prior to warranty expiring. They told me, Sorry. Sorry is what the quality of Infiniti cars and service is. I will never purchase another Nissan or Infiniti product ever again. I will be busy spreading the word on the internet and contacting my lawyer.
2006 Infiniti stalled on highway. No power steering No power brakes. I barely just missed getting into a serious accident... got the car to the breakdown lane. The most horrifying experience. Infiniti will not fix this problem. Infiniti stinks!
Infiniti has the most outstanding features available. Their look is so innovative that any type of person would love this vehicle. It has a variety of models for each type of individual out there. Whatever you are looking for Infiniti has it. They have models from the sleek and savvy to the family and modern. If you are laid back or more outgoing, they have the look for you, too. Infiniti has any type of upgrade or personalization that you want. All you have to do is ask and they will do it for you. And if you dont want all that hoolah then tell them and you dont have to have it. Infiniti is there to meet your needs, not theirs. The passenger capability is also awesome. It is a very roomy vehicle. Its great whether youre just one or two individuals or a family. They have the car for you.
I leased a QX50 2019. July 16. 4 days in I got a flat. Infiniti towed my car to Kelly Infiniti. I went in for a surgery and in hospital-I had trust, they said my car had a scratch they would repair, I was home in bed not able to drive for 3-4 weeks. A single BC woman. They had my car for 25 days. My car came back with the whole drivers side repainted and horribly! This is ongoing since July, no one is owning up to this shoddy paint job and saying I bought the car that way I guess. Kelly Infiniti did it...Herb Chambers I bought the car from says they are with me...but Im on my own. No one wants to help me. Infiniti affairs cannot do much more for me because No one is admitting a horrible thing. I have a loaner and they say the car is mechanically good. But I take the hit for a terrible paint job??? They will not take the car back and its going to cost me money although I had nothing to do with this. DO NOT BUY AN INFINITI... I am heartbroken. They will pass the buck and not help you. It is so sad...
The dashboard on my 2004 Infiniti FX 35 started to show bubbles around a year ago. At first I didnt think much of it since it was just a few spots. But in the past few months, it quickly spread everywhere. I contacted Infiniti USA, but they will not fix it. The customer representative said Infiniti is aware of the problem and has extended the warranty to 8 years. But since my car is now 9 years old, theres nothing they can do. I was not notified of the extension. Apparently, this is a common problem. A search for Infiniti dashboard bubble will return tons of results. If this is a known problem, I dont understand why they will not fix it. Infiniti is supposed to be a luxury brand after all. As a result, I will never buy another Nissan/Infiniti again. I expected more from my luxury car manufacturer.
I purchased a 2014 Q50 at end of February. I have been experiencing a terrible odor, that smells like body odor and onions, coming from the car. I have brought the car in to service and they were not helpful in the least. I contacted Infiniti consumer affairs and they sent an inspector out from Tennessee to work on my car. Its been 4 days and I was told that my car would not be available to me for another 5 days. I was given a loaner car but its really not that helpful as they gave me another q50. This car smells too.Infiniti told me they really dont have a solution. They changed the drain hoses from the sun roof and now they are working on deodorizing it. I honestly dont think this is going to work but they asked me to give them a chance. At this point I really have no options. This is supposed to be a high end car, over $40,000. Im experiencing headaches, and feeling dizzy when in the car. The internet has shown many people having the same problems with their Q50. I just wanna enjoy my brand new car but unfortunately, all I wanna do is vomit when Im in it. Please, any help is truly appreciated.
We paid for a wear and tear protection package with our lease at the Fort Lauderdale Infiniti Center. Now they are closed and Infiniti USA wont honor it and wants to charge us twice for that. Buy Toyota. We never had problems with Toyota.
This is in reply to Glenn of Orland Park. I too own a 2003 Infiniti FX35. I too have the same over-heating problems with my vehicle. Infiniti will not do a darn thing about it because they already know of the problem. It is inherent in most 2003 Model FX35s. 1st Model release and build. It is the head gaskets. Low block! It is exactly why Infiniti acts like they cannot diagnose or replicate the condition. They drag and drag running up the bill and they play stupid. A simple radiator pressure test will immediately reveal the flaw. But they dont want to be the ones who conduct that test and reveal this condition to you. Take it to a radiator specialist. You will get your proof! Their only recommendation is to replace the engine! At close to a $ 10,000.00 fix. This is totally unacceptable! I would just love to partake in a class action suit against these imbeciles. Please do not waste any time or money trying to diagnose the problem gentlemen. It is on every Infiniti blog you will find. Good luck to all whom own these vehicles. I know that I am not alone. This should be a zero rank to Infiniti, but this site will not allow it. : (
I bought a Q50s 4 months ago. Ive had problems with stereo since day 1. Infiniti said there would be a fix any day now. My dealership said its a common problem with this car. Infiniti set me up with my own account representative. She agreed its been a problem. She then told me that infiniti would make 2 car payments for my inconvenience. A few weeks later I received a call that it wasnt approved and I could get a $300 service credit. How can infiniti still sell a car that has a known problem?
We have a 2005 FX35 with the dashboard bubbling issue. We received no notification of an extended warranty with respect to the dashboard defect. We have lived at the same address with the same telephone number and email address that we provided Infiniti when we first took our car in for service in 2009. We purchased the 2005 from CarMax in Richmond, VA in 2009 and there were no dashboard issues. We were never notified of an extended warranty because of this material defect. When I googled the problem in 2014, I contacted Infiniti customer service and they said the extended warranty had expired 1 year earlier and there was nothing they could do. We open and read all of our mail each and every day before discarding and we never received an extended warranty. We contacted Jeb **, service manager, at Infiniti in Richmond, VA. He said there was nothing he could do. He also stated that he personally found that Infiniti was more willing to work with car owners to repair the dashboard even if it was passed the 8 year extended warranty if they were customer who took their vehicles to Infiniti for repairs (I guess because Infiniti makes money on these folks and are more willing to honor fixing this known defect on a high end expensive vehicle). We are just sick. We were told by YOU (ConsumerAffairs) that because we were calling 1 year later that you refuse to cover the cost of this dashboard which is well over $3000. I was appalled! We have babied and taken wonderful care of our car. It looks like it is 2 years old when it is, in fact, 11 years old. We were planning to purchase another Infiniti but will not if we know you dont honor your loyal customers. What can you do for us? I am writing you for the second time a year later because we have to drive in this car to work each day only to look at a disgusting dashboard that keeps getting worse. Wont you please help us! We dont take our cars for repairs to the local Infiniti dealer because we take it for all of its scheduled maintenance to the local Nissan dealer which is closer to our home. Arent you the same company? Why dont you honor this dashboard replacement when you know it is a known defect and nothing we have done to the car? (We even keep a shade screen up each and every day in our front window). Please do the right thing and replace our dashboard. We only have 80,000 miles on our car and are planning to keep it a long time. Please help!
I purchase 2014 Infiniti QX70 at Aug 19, 2014. The car come with lots thing need repair. The dealer tell me is ok, they will take care for me and like brand new. Lots body paint, look like its been touch up. After 3 months between dealer and their official body shop, now dealer drop my case and tell me contact Infiniti consumer affairs because I been file with them on Aug. The car been in & out dealer to body shop 4 times since after Aug 19. Each time after body shop fixed, the condition is more awful, over paint or damage rubber, especially the tail light is crack and water inside the tail light. Now the new car is been repaint from front bumper, both side door in side, right front passenger door... Some area when body repaint without tell me! Both rear side door inside paint is rough, windshield and window has clear coat spray spot, window edge and door edge is over paint. Last thing, even now the dealer still not repair my DVD monitor and driver side seat belt buckle! I been send e-mail back to Infiniti consumer affairs 3 times since 10/19, plus I call them and leave message over 3 days too, still no one reply me e-mail or call me back. Very bad customer services for manufacturer. Very terrible and dont care. If anyone know the professional lawyer please let me know, or already file action lawsuit against Infiniti I would like to joining.
I am currently an owner of a G35, G35 Cpe, and a 2005 FX35. My biggest problem is with the FX. I have had a dashboard that bubbles and car seats that are ripped on the sides (which are now being covered by black duct tape). Now, my driver side seat is squeaking nonstop. Oh, I forgot about the rear view mirror that just fell off one day. I cannot believe the money that was spent on this car and the shape it is in. I hate driving it. If I was in any condition to purchase a new one, I would. I guarantee it would not be an Infiniti. I have never owned a car which seats rip the way they have. My daughters car, the 2003 Cpe, will start to blast cold air and not stop. But I was told a recall was only made on the sedan. Now that is just stupid. They are the same car. You, guys, make no sense. But I do believe when I go to purchase a new car, I will not get much for my FX because of the ripped and squeaked seats, and it will be your fault.
Hi, angry and disappointed Infiniti customer here. I purchased my 2004 Infiniti Fx35 back in 2011. I was very happy with my vehicle until I came back from boot camp. U.S Marines and noticed that my dashboard was bubbling up all over. It look ugly. I feel embarrassed to give people rides. I dont like this car anymore. I did some research about this, and found out that I was not alone. There are hundreds of Infiniti customers who are on the same boat as I am. Most of them took advantage of the extended warranty, which I did not know anything about, did not receive a letter, was not notified until it was already too late.I called my dealership where I bought the vehicle, and they simply said I needed to pay a little over $1,000 to have it replaced. Thats ridiculous! And a little crazy. Like I mentioned above, I am not a happy customer. Called the Infiniti customer affairs number, and they were not willing to help with this matter issue. Case closed. Im screwed.
I have owned 8 Infiniti models over the years from a 1991 Q45 all the way to a 2011 G37x. I could not be happier with the cars and the way I was treated by the dealership in Barrington, IL. I will never go anywhere else for service work and plan on buying a Q40 or Q50 next year.
I purchased the Infinity G37 S 2011 (New). Less than 5 years old and only about 45,000 miles: Adhere to all the appropriate maintenance recommended for this vehicle at the dealership. My automobile was making strange whooshing noise, (no matter what speed) so I brought into the dealership. They stated that it was the tires making the noise, the treads are fine, however uneven due to road conditions and the only way to remove the noise is to replace all of them for over $1,000 dollars. This resolution, without thoroughly examining the tires (only a test-drive) is completely unacceptable. My car is in pristine condition, driven appropriately and handled with care. I did not receive any assistance from Infinity Corporation nor the dealership. For this caliber of luxury car, the tires provided did not fit my vehicle specification, nor should it have to be replaced after such a short period of time and/or mileage. This is not wear and tear but an inferior tire. As for my Bluetooth system, since the purchase of this vehicle, I have had nothing but problems with this unit. Finally, the unit had been replaced (once), after countless deliberations with the Infinity dealership, however, the problems persists. No one, no matter my location, type of phones, can anyone understand me.This system is deplorable, and once again, neither Infinity Corporation nor the dealership had been able to resolve this problem or cared to.
I just purchased the QX60 2015 with the collision avoidance system. I was disappointed that you have to turn on the system each time you get in the SUV. Why would you not be able to turn it on and leave it on. If you ever need it that would be the one time you did not turn it on. Also the insurance company would not give credit for the feature because it has to be turned on each time. Go figure as to why anyone would want it turned off.
Infiniti Q50 hybrid top of the range, 4 wheel drive, active lane control, every extra on the car. Always driven SUVs found the car whilst superb to drive not to my liking, so asked if they would consider buying it back. Now I realize everybody has to make a living but they have offered me what is basically 27,000 pounds less than the car cost new! OK it has 9,000 miles on the clock so I would of expected to lose a reasonable amount. On asking different car main dealers nobody seems interested as soon as you say Infiniti. I am puzzled by this as I thought I was buying a luxury car. My question is does anyone out there know of any reason for this? And any advice on what I could do to get a few thousand more for my car? I would be very grateful.
My jx35 passenger airbag deactivation light turns on randomly. I took my automobile to the dealer at least six (6) times and dealer couldnt reproduce it. I recorded several videos of this issue where my wife or even myself is in the passenger seat and the deactivation air bag light turns on while the car is in motion. Finally, the Department of Transportation and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a recall. Occupant detection system may disable pass air bag on 03/12/13. Also, we are experiencing a problem with the city mpg. I obtained an average of 10mpg instead of 18mpg offered. This is definitely a fraud.
We have had our new QX80 for about 2 weeks. My wife keeps complaining about her legs going numb. She was very uneasy spending the large amount on the vehicle and its so nice she feels it could be making too big of a statement for our family. I keep reminding her its a safe suv and were not making a large statement, we are just buying a truck that fits our family from a dealer that buys from us. Unfortunately I too have been driving it lately and my legs go numb as well. Not sure what to do.
Overall I dislike the way how they handle the repaint to my 2019 QX50. It took few months to have it take to the shop. It took me 4 times going back and forth to have it test or investigate and took many picture to convince them that it is not a rock-chip. After few months they made a conclusion that they will repaint the area that is peeling (Rear & Front) and Im happy about it but if this ever happen to Toyota or Honda dealership they can deal with it within a week or two. Just saying. Also Im disappointed on how they wont include the Apple CarPlay into 2019 model QX50. It is a new model and every car should have this as basic Apple android connection to the car. But Infiniti decided to not include 2019 model for having Apple CarPlay. My first car was a Infiniti and my thoughts about this is if you want your customer to keep be happy and loyal into Infiniti family, a simple update to Apple CarPlay should be ok and implemented into the early version of 2019 QX50. From everything I have experience, I doubt that I will be continuing being a part of Infiniti for my next car purchase or even recommend it. I dont want my friends or my family to have the same experience that I had. PS. Infiniti could at least update the radio system to have an Apple CarPlay let any other new car in the market. Its 2019 model after all. The car looks great btw but if you have this type of issue (Paint & outdated system) I think I would reconsider purchasing a different brand for a better quality of paint and system.
Infiniti has so many options to choose from. They are affordable and dependable. The sleek design and high end features make this brand unbeatable. It is top of the line quality and if you dont like any of the base models you can definitely customize it and make it your own. They have tons of features and add-ons to choose from. Also, even if you get a two door you will still have lots of room for that additional person. Not to mention the trunk space. And the SUVs are super roomy and comfortable. You really cant find any other brands quite like Infiniti and I love it. I would recommend this car company to anyone looking.
I had a schedule on Jan 2, 2019 12 noon to 5 PM to have my QX59 inspected (as required by Infiniti) and made a confirmed appointment (have an email from them Nobody called and nobody showed up wasted 5+ hours.) When called not even an apology. Useless company Infiniti and their inspection Contractor AIM Inspections. Will NEVER get an INFINITI again.
I love Infinitis. They run well, comfortable, and are stylish no matter what year or model. They have something for every taste and are not prone to a lot of mechanical issues and gas efficient. Its a compact car with the feel of a luxury sedan heated seats. It has a backup camera, tinted windows, a bose sound system and a decent sized trunk. The front seats are comfortable and the back seat sits three people. It also has beige leather seats with back seat storage. The newer models have other nice upgrades, but I like the factory features that are in my car.
I purchased the car and 6 days later the engine blew. Long story short, Patrick ** said take it to Garcia. THE ENGINE NEEDED REPLACED. After 2 weeks I got it back. When I got it back the engine ran but the air conditioner was broke so the next day took it BACK FOR AIR CONDITIONER. Then I had this car for 3 weeks and it overheated. The engine light came on...I havent been driving it. I am going to take it in for repairs again but I am afraid I have been too trusting. Now its been 2 months. I am going to take it in. I hope CarHop/UAC make it right. I have had this car two months and Im afraid to drive it anywhere for fear it will break down. I am taking to THEIR mechanic tomorrow. My warranty is good. Ill have it FIXED again. Hmmm fixed...right.Updated on 07/16/2016: Well its been a couple of weeks update. I called 07/15/16 to tell them I had fixed the car. It cost me but I would pay them Aug 1 my July 1 bill. They said no. That if I didnt pay the full amount they would disable my starter. WELL...AN HOUR LATER I CHECKED AND YES ONCE AGAIN STRANDED WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION. I am a single 32 yr who has to not only figure out a way around but I have PTSD. This is not my idea of good customer service. That car altogether has ran for maybe 2 1/2 weeks total. I finally get it working and Garcia turns it off. I need a lawyer.
Infiniti has issues with the transmission on the QX series vehicles. At 14,000 miles my new Infiniti QX60 had to have the transmission replaced. 4 months later and 7,000 miles, the new transmission need to have the valve body replaced. This should not occur on a new car nor new parts... I have requested that Infiniti buy my car back. This car is unsafe.
Infiniti has a big variety of cars and SUVs so that anyone can find the car or SUV they want. We found a 6-speed that hugged the road with ease. Our black infiniti was beautiful inside and out. It has black tinted windows and black leather inside. It was as powerful as it was gorgeous and if you werent paying attention you would be speeding before you knew it. We liked it just like it was - black on the outside and on the inside, stick shift and heated seats. There was plenty of room for the passenger to sit comfortably or to lay the seat back and take a nap with ease. The only time this was a problem was if someone was sitting behind you.
I love Infiniti vehicles. My last one I30 was fabulous for 286,000 miles so of course I had to get another Infiniti. The Q50 is even better. Great style, durability, and easy handling.
Im just simply writing about my defective dashboard. I purchase my 2006 G35 Coupe pre owned a couple years ago. Little over a year ago the dashboard started melting along with cracking. If it was something that wasnt noticeable, I wouldnt really care. However, its a conversation piece that you dont want to talk about because its pretty embarrassing. I keep my car in shaded areas along with having a garage. If I knew of the matter I would have never purchased my 3rd Infiniti. I have always spoken highly of the Infiniti brand until this simple problem that Infiniti wished to close the eyes to. I dont imagine anything to be resolved. I have research other forums in regards to others trying to start action, a class action suit, and gave my contact information in the event that something does come out of it! Going forward, I will surely NOT talk any good about the Brand Infiniti.
I am concerned after hearing about other dashboards that are melting. I own a 2006 G 35 Coupe and my dashboard is also melting and very, very sticky... I was searching for a recall problem with it and ended up here on this site so decided to put my complaint in... Is there a recall on it???
I have leased two vehicles from Infiniti, a G35 and a G37. I had no problem when my lease was up on the G35, because I went right into another lease on the G37. I leased the vehicle for 39 months. At the end of the lease term I opted to return the car to the dealership (March 2014). Several months after I turned in the car I received a bill for $300.00, which they said was for processing the return of my leased vehicle (which by the way was in excellent condition and only had 26K miles on it)... Well, okay, so I paid that. I get home from work yesterday to find a letter from a collection agency. It seems that Infiniti sent me to a collection agency for $59.23 that I owed them for the personal property taxes on the car for January - March 4, when I returned the car. One would think that after having a 6 year relationship with Infiniti - paying my payments in a timely manner and ALL personal property taxes that I had to pay to them, someone would pick up the phone and make a phone call to verify that I had received the bill for the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe them. But no, they just sent me to collections. I JUST received the actual bill from Infiniti a few days ago. I would like to just say, Thank you Infiniti and I will not ever consider leasing or buying another Infiniti again! I am not sure why after 6 years they would think that I would not pay the $59.23 in personal property tax that I owe. I paid them thousands... crazy!!
Infiniti FX35 Dashboard bubbling - I got screwed by Infiniti. My dashboard started bubbling back in 2016 so I contacted Infiniti and told them about the problem only to be told that my car was out of warranty and that they could not do anything about it. But yesterday 10/23/17 I had my car serviced and was told by the dealership that the Bubbling was a recall issue. I was never told by Infiniti that this was a recall or an extended warranty was out for the bubbling issue. Im so disappointed in Infiniti because I never thought that they would leave their customers hanging on a expensive repair and not let us know in writing that this was an issue that they could repair. The fact that I contacted them back in Sept. of 2016 about this issue and their reply indicated that since I no longer had an warranty on the vehicle was why they could not fix it. They never mention that an extended warranty was out to fix this issue or when that extended warranty ended. So Im stuck with this ugly dash in a car that is suppose to be of luxury. Im hurt about the whole thing but at least now I know to never buy another one. Shame on you Infiniti! Look at all the repeat customers you could have had.
Infiniti manufactured a faulty dash in the Infiniti fx35, which bubbles and cracks (after your warranty is up). Infiniti knows the material is damaged at my fault to the customer. Yet they will not pay for $2500.00 repairs. Infiniti will not discount the repair. However certain customers have been granted this courtesy. I guess Infiniti appreciate certain customers more than others. I have filed a complaint with them as well. There has to be something that can be done... I will never purchase another Infiniti!!
Infiniti has a great selection of models, from passenger cars to sports cars to SUVs. Passenger capacity is excellent. I can fit a modest amount of people in my SUV. I can also fit numerous items in my roof rack, which is very spacious. I never owned an Infiniti before, but now Im hooked. These vehicles are equipped with all the latest technology, and I couldnt see myself driving anything else. It definitely has the futuristic look that people are looking for. You can pay a bit more to fully equip your vehicle, or you can stay with the base package, which is still loaded with features and extras you cant find on other vehicles.
Comfortable and a very smooth ride. Plenty of room to travel long distance with children and pets. Very powerful engine and easy to handle. Fully loaded with new technology. Incredible braking system and also a very nice sound system. It handles like a car and I also gets very good gas mileage to be an SUV. I would recommend this vehicle because it is very classy.
Approximately 6/6 times my 2002 Infiniti EX35 has cut off on me while on the road. After approximately 15 minutes, Ill try starting it and it will come back on. Twice my grandkids have been in the car. Luckily, no one has run into me. I have taken the car to Infiniti dealership in South Hills repeatedly and they cant find the problem. The last time I took the car to dealership they put in new sensors. However, it has turned off again. I called the dealership, still waiting on a return call from them. Nothing but problems. This is a serious issue. My family and I can be seriously hurt.
We bought Infiniti just last year and went to get yearly service done. I was told over the phone that we will get car back after service in 3 hours and they will provide us courtesy car for that time. We dropped car at 2:30 pm and was expecting to get it by 5:30 pm. When we went there, they didnt give us any courtesy car but offered us shuttle ride to a nearby shopping center. We were ok with that and opted for shuttle. When we came back from the shopping center the car was not ready. We asked them, they said it is just due for washing and will be done soon. We waited half an hr more and by that time it was 5:10 pm. At that time, they told us that they guy who is supposed to wash our car is out to drop someone. They had no idea when the guy will return and wash our car. We had another activity to take care after that and regretfully we had to pick up our car unwashed. They were not punctual with their commitment. If they offer shuttle service to the customers, that should not be at the cost of service. We are very disappointed by this behavior of such a reputable car company.
I purchased a 2003 Infiniti G35 in 2006. I am having problems as outlined in a recall issued by Infiniti; however, they are telling me that my car is not part of the recall. When I called the dealership, they said that the previous owner had already taken advantage of the recall so if I want the issue resolved, then I have to pay $650. I have already paid for a new air conditioning compressor and a motor for my passenger side window to find out that the issue was with the audio circuit board. The recall said: On some model year 2003 G35 Sedans manufactured through August 21, 2002, the audio and temperature controls may not operate as expected. When using the audio equipment or the temperature controls, the unit may become inoperative. In some cases, this can be corrected by turning the ignition switch off and back on again. In other cases, the unit remains inoperative and requires service by an Infiniti technician. To prevent this condition, Infiniti has initiated a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the audio finisher circuit board on these vehicles at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. This campaign affects approximately 23,998 Infiniti G35 Sedans in the United States. The notification letter stated: Thank you for your purchase of an Infiniti 2003 G35 Sedan. Infiniti is committed to providing the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction as part of the Total Ownership Experience program. Through our product performance monitoring, we have identified that the audio and temperature controls may, on occasion, not operate as expected. To ensure your satisfaction and to prevent any inconvenience, Infiniti is replacing the component that controls the audio and temperature controls on your vehicle with an improved version. Your Infiniti dealer may have already contacted you to schedule an appointment and to have this component replaced, at no cost to you. If not, please contact your nearest Infiniti dealer to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. This free service should take less than two (2) hours to complete, but your Infiniti dealer may require your vehicle for a longer period of time based upon their work schedule, or parts availability. If you require alternate transportation, please schedule an appointment in advance so your Infiniti dealer can ensure a free service loan car is available for your use.If you have any questions or concerns about your Infiniti G35 Sedan, please contact your Infiniti dealer or contact an Infiniti representative toll free at (800) 662-6200. If you reside in Hawaii, please call (808) 836-0888.Thank you for providing us an opportunity to ensure ongoing satisfaction with your new Infiniti G35 Sedan. We apologize for this inconvenience.
We got our whole engine changed once and after two years, the engine failed again. The company is asking us to spend more than $10,000 to change the engine again. Aside from that, they cant also do anything. **, they just lost more than one customer. Zero rating from me.
One thing I have expectation is quality customer service. Cochran Infiniti has the idea that get them in get them dont pass on information that a customer could use or want. For instance I found that I was supposed to be enrolled in the portal. I wasnt. In fact the salesman was a yes man while you are there and screw you once you are gone. The Certified vehicle should not have been. I was told by the salesman things like the wheels would be fixed (rim scrapped). He lied the ashtray was going to be fixed and ready as well as the floor mats when I come in for my first service. The salesman lied, the object was to get me out the door, fast. In fact I pointed out the body punch also ignored. The culture at Cochran is not of quality but of getting sales at all cost. Tried to create an account on the customer portal after I found it existed. Unfortunately that was a waste of time. It refused to recognize my VIN and twice was rebuked by customer service. One person even told me I had to provide proof by uploading insurance documentation and registration as proof to the customer portal which I had to access to and wanted their help to create. They said not without proof. So Infiniti refused to recognize me as the owner of the Q50 of a vehicle bought at a dealer for new Infinitis which was supposed to be certified. Bought this vehicle in August. Its May 1. Infiniti has no chain of command and is not proactive and not quick to react if ever.
Im just very sad that my 2003 Infinity g35 burned to the ground while not even on and no one from Nissan seems to care. The fire department said that it looked like it started from the headlight. Im now out of car. The sad thing is that I want to buy another g35 but my pride wont let me.
I recently bought a 2016 QX-70. I previously owned a 2003 FX-45. I was looking forward to having an integral Navigation system. To that end I paid some $160 for an upgrade that took over four hours to load. The system is useless. In the three weeks I have owned it I have had several instances where after putting in an address it says. Sorry no data available. My Garmin Nuvi and Google maps found all of those in a very short time. Infiniti needs to fire whoever does that mapping program and use Garmin or Google. Very disappointing in an expensive vehicle.
I just want to start I am Infiniti loyal customer, this is my 3rd Infiniti. My current car is QX70. About 4 months ago my car would start and shut off. I took it to Oklahoma city Infiniti dealer and they diagnose the issue a day change the break switch with didnt help. Took it the 2nd time and they program the computer and told me this will solve the issues. Same day after I picked the car start doing the same thing + jerking while speeding and slowing down and out power at all. I took it back and they went and changed the engine magnetic head which I dont understand why. Picked the car and 2 days before Christmas while doing shopping with my little girl, while waiting at a traffic light the car shut off. I had to put the gear on park and start the car. This is a safety concerns. I called the dealer the next day and was asked to bring the car. This time I took a video of the car not starting and show it to the service manager which he now have proof. The dealer cant diagnose the issue and I been told by the shop foreman to contact Infiniti consumer affair which I did. After they contact me I been told by OKC dealer I cant no longer bring the car to them since the Infiniti corporate been notify. The consumer affair supervisor informed me that Infiniti cant do anything special to fix the car. What I can do take it to different dealer which about 120 miles which I did and they have the car now. So Infiniti is aware of this issue and I have 3 recorded videos of the issues and wont do anything even its a safety issue. Hope Jacki ** of Tulsa Oklahoma will be able to help. WILL SEE.
My 2009 Infiniti fx35 always have break problem whenever the weather is really cold. I took it to Infiniti several times, pay a lot of money, but the problem still remain. This problem started 3 months after I bought the SUV. Also, lately when I drive, it sounds like something is beating drum under my car but Infiniti cant find what is wrong with it. I am always regretting spending so much money to buy an SUV that Im not comfortable with.
I have a 2006 Infiniti FX35 with transmission problems. I called the dealer and gave Mr. ** the option to replace the whole transmission for the estimated price of $7,000. The person that took my phone call even said that transmission problems normally happen around 100,000 miles and he emphasized that his best recommendation is to replace the whole transmission because if they only replace the valve body, I will probably have problems in the future with something else related with the transmission. Scam. They would rather make me spend a lot more money. They don’t lose. The front seat has several cracks on the vinyl part. As per the Infiniti dealer, its a wear and tear problem. How would a luxury car seat wear with just around 80,000 miles on it! I noticed online that its a common problem. They need to recall this cheap vinyl and replace it regardless of warranty. Now, the car is stuck just outside of warranty with the same issues and at my own expense. The 1995 Camaro with 200k original transmission RPM is better than my Infiniti. My Dads old truck (1983) has vinyl seats and looks better than my Infiniti luxury with a cost of above $40K.
Everything has gone wrong with Infiniti. I just had to have a transmission installed and it only has 125K miles. Lots of electrical problems, sun roof broke, and drivers side door wont stay open. I should have bought a Toyota.
I bought a brand new 2018 Q50. Within the year I have had several problems with the tires. The tire pressure warning is always coming on. I put air in the tires and a few weeks later the same warning comes back on. This has happened to me several times. A few weeks ago I got a flat tire while driving and had to have my car towed to the Infiniti dealer because much to my surprise my brand new Infiniti did not come with a spare tire! No one told me this when I purchased the car. After spending $415 for a new tire and wheel alignment, I now have another tire with a bulge in it. I asked Infiniti to give me a new tire without charge and was told that they can’t help me and suggested I go to the manufacturer. I informed them that being that they could not help me I would not be a repeat customer and I was told that that was OK with them???
2008 still looks new and drives awesome. Bought the infiniti m35 used - it is an awesome car, still has class and looks great. I like it better than the new infinities. It is a great car and was under 15k in price. It has leather cool and heated seats and a lot of technology. These are great cars that last forever.
If your Infiniti Q50 AWD sport or non sport 19 rims with the Dunlop SP 5000 DSST CTT run flat tires will probably develop a low speed squashy sound around 10k-15k miles you will hear with the windows down. If you notice this tire noise the tires are under warranty from Goodyear who now owns Dunlop and Kelly. Goodyear Tire Company will send you to a retail tire shop and once confirmed tires are in fact bad will prorate towards a new set of run flat or non - run flat Dunlop, Goodyear or Kelly tires. I have a 2015 Q50 AWD sport with Deluxe and Technology Package my bad original Dunlop 5000 DSST CTT @ 14,917 miles, I chose the EAGLE SPORT A/S non-run flat tires that come with a 50,000 mile warranty. Very low tire noise, smooth riding, better braking, excellent in rain + dry traction-handling, good snow traction. These new Goodyear tires has definitely improved my overall ownership experience with the Infiniti Q50.
After having to hire a lawyer and constant dismissal from the dealership and Nissan North America we went to arbitration and won. In fact Nissan did not even show up for the hearing and called half way through the proceedings to offer to purchase back or vehicle at full price. It was ridiculous we had to go that far with them! For anyone else having shuddering, transmission problems I would recommend keeping at them. They know something is wrong with the car that is way they settled. We were awarded full price plus 3000. Towards legal fees under the California lemon law.
My 2003 G35 Coupe has had numerous issues. I purchased this vehicle in 05 with 21,000 miles and immediately noticed a break recall. Thankfully dealership handled that, however that should have been a telltale sign. After the two motors went out on my windows, alternator, cam shafts, sun roof off track, AC compressor, DR2 headlights ($210/each). Ive finally experience the ultimate issue when my GPS/AC/radio unit went out. Well sort of. The navigation and radio systems are both powered off and the AC unit is always on high. Besides paying $2000 extra just because I wanted the navigation system, I am now averaging about 14 mpg thanks to my uncontrollable AC unit. After paying $29,000 for my car and now not having the expendable cash to maintain my vehicle. There it sits while the paint job oxidation is progressing. Infiniti if youre out there PLEASE REDEEM YOURSELVES AND MY FAITH AND PIMP MY RIDE.
I paid nearly $80K for a new 2014 Infiniti QX80. From the day I got the new SUV there was a issue with the Bluetooth not connected well with my IPhone. They told me that they could not do anything even though the car is 5 mos old and had barely $6K miles. They said to complain at the Consumer Affairs so that Either Infiniti or Apple company will work the quirks of the IPhone to better link with Infiniti. I paid lot of money to suffer with bad connections or no connection to listen to Audio from my IPhone.
We purchased the JX35 when it first came out in 2012. Weve had a few minor issues related to recalls (gas tank fuel pickup tube re-route and fuel gauge re-calibration). We have also had the same problem with the right front passenger airbag switch. This has been recalled several times, and after the last service inspection the re-calibration of the sensor seems to have corrected the problem. Im not having the shuttering problem with the transmission either. Its the original transmission which performs very well. It appears that the cars manufactured shortly after mine had the new XTronic CVT which seems to be a real problem. My experience with Infiniti Consumer Affairs has been very positive. I had a problem with my navigation unit going haywire (constant re-setting) during a cross country trip. Consumer Affairs made arrangements for me to take the car to a Nissan dealership since there wasnt an Infiniti dealership anywhere close to our location. As it turned out, the problem didnt re-occur until we returned home. Our dealership found that there was an issue which called for a firmware update. Im very satisfied with Infiniti and thankfully havent had the negative experiences as seen on this site.
My husbands QX80 died, couldnt be started, couldnt be jumped (by a tow truck). It was towed to the local dealership. Consumer affairs (another sham) says that something is wrong with the computer and it will be $2700 to fix. This car is a 2015 and under manufacturers warranty and we purchased an extended warranty. Infiniti does not stand behind its cars or its warranty! Buyer beware! I will never purchase another Infiniti again based on this experience!
I would strongly recommended anyone to avoid Infiniti. One of the worst companies dealing with cars. They just discontinue vehicles overnight FX35 and dont provide any after sales for the discontinued cars. Even China do not manufacture their parts saying its a failed company. In Qatar finding infiniti parts are like finding a needle in a haystack. Sad to know they related to Nissan.
Why wont Infiniti stand behind theyre product? I have a 2003 G35 with 70,000 miles and it is now having the same electrical problems that everyone else who owns the 2003 is having; radio dead, battery drained, AC stuck on, fan goes full blast then low. I dont understand why Infiniti wont help. This will be an expensive fix. I loved the car. I will never buy another and I will tell everyone I know not to buy Infiniti. Service needs to stand behind this product. You guys are wrong!
DO NOT TRUST INFINITI. Infiniti Leasing will attempt to take money from you in every way possible. After being a loyal leasing customer for almost 7 years, I returned my second leased Infiniti FX35/37. At the time of leasing I pre-paid for any minor damages, scratches, small dings, etc. When I turned the vehicle in I was told everything was good. BUT, approximately 4 months later I received a phone call from a debt collector saying I owed Infiniti additional money to cover minor scratches and dings. I attempted to resolve this with the dealership who said it outside their responsibility. I attempted to resolve this with Infiniti Leasing who said that I needed to work with the dealership. After many months of back and forth and risk to my credit rating - I gave up and just paid. Thank you Infiniti - Merry Christmas to you... I hope this small bill you overcharged me was worth losing a customer for life and the negative reviews I will give to everyone I meet.
Duped by Infiniti. I purchased a brand new QX80 from my Houston dealer. The car is fantastic. At the time of purchase I was clear that I was likely to move to the UAE after a year or so. They assured me that my vehicle was fit for export and that the UAE Infiniti dealer will take care of me. Lo and behold, I arrived this Jan with my QX80, and the local dealer washed their hands off me, claiming the vehicle electronics is completely and that they will be unable to service or diagnose any issues with the vehicle. I feel my $90k is down the drain. Really disappointed! To make things worse, I wrote to both Infiniti USA as well as Infiniti ME. The US palmed me off to the ME office, and the ME office was not at all responsive. I will ensure to continue using every opportunity to discourage anyone supporting the Nissan and Infiniti brand. Shameless thugs!
