Mower (Poulan Pro front wheel drive) arrived new in box. The front wheel drive wouldn’t engage and the height adjustment kept dropping down. After 1 hour of use the machine completely seized up. Husqvarna refused to honor the warranty stating severe abuse of machine. Screws on the undercarriage became loose and fell off causing it to hit against the blade. Amazon has stopped selling this model due to the same complaints and issues. I tried posting a review on their website and they took it down stating irrelevant content. That’s why their rating seem high when in fact their product is rated very low and many people have complained about the same issues. Stay away!!!

LGT2654 - As I was mowing my lawn the rear left tire fell off. The problem being the axle broke, now for as much money I had spent on purchasing this piece of equipment counting on the name brand as to be quality. I am very upset that there has not been a recall, and if the Husqvarna company wants to be known as a cheap garbage selling company then they are on the right track as I have seen many complaints for this same problems online. Best regards to the brand I THOUGHT WAS QUALITY.

I have replaced the deck belt 4 times in 2 years of owning this machine. It randomly twists itself over then shreds itself. I have paid a service person each time to replace the belt. I don’t have time to spend making repairs myself. I bought this machine from Lowes based on the good reviews at that time. I am very disappointed with the machine at this time and will probably not buy this brand again!

I purchased a T435 Chainsaw in February of 2011. It has never run correctly and I have brought it to 2 different dealers for repair. I have spent time and additional money on repairs and still have a saw that runs poorly. I have spoken with 3 levels of Husqvarna support and they refuse to do anything about this issue. They also refuse to warranty the expenses I paid to get my saw back from the second dealer.I am considering small claims action for this problem. I would like everyone to know that Husqvarna will not stand behind there products.

I purchased a rear-drive self-propelled Husqvarna 775EX mower two years ago. I encountered problems immediately and went back to Lowes as I was told I could when I bought the machine. I had not completed cutting my small lawn once when it quit. I was told a drive part was broken and it was replaced for over $100 (no warranty service). It sort of cut for a short while, maybe three or four cuts and I realized I was pushing the mower more than it was pushing itself. It cannot both cut and move itself at the same time except on a level surface with very short grass. I have taken it to an authorized repair service twice as recommended by the company and they told me there was nothing wrong with it and that I should expect to have to push it some as it was not made to completely propel itself. I wish I had not gotten rid of my old machine (a 14 year old Yard Man) which still propelled itself with a broken drive wheel. I have written Husqvarna and received essentially no answers other than to see the authorized repair service. This machine is a piece of junk and Husqvarna provides no meaningful customer service assistance. I will never buy another product associated with this company and will do my best to spread the word of poor quality and no customer service.

Paid 2000.00 to purchase brand new 2016 Husqvarna YTA24v48 with V-Twin Intek. Transmission is sketchy at best and after 30 hours and one oil/filter change cheap plastic carburetor started causing severe idle fluctuation to the point it would hardly run. Shortly afterwards, governor flew apart inside engine. Paid another 500.00 to have governor and carburetor replaced cause Husqvarna and Briggs & Stratton wouldnt warranty their product. Overall, mower and engine are so cheaply made that now Im afraid to even use it without worrying whats going to break next. Extremely dissatisfied and regret this expensive purchase of junk. I will never purchase either product nor will I ever recommend these products.

I bought a 48 in. Husqvarna last year. When they got it off the truck it did not work. Had to get new battery and 1 tire was flat. About 2 months later the mower will not go into reverse. They fixed that. We tried to mow and the paddle broke off. Now 3 spindles broke, warranty would not cover. I paid out of pocket. We get it back. I now part of my yard and the spindle in making a lot of noise and not working correctly. This is such bull, you pay so much and you get crap. I now cant mow again. Something needs to happen.

I bought a garden tractor (Husqvarna 54 in cut) last year and with only 22 operating hours on it, it broke the belt for the cutting deck. It was not due to wear, the break was a clean break. At the time of the failure, the mower was sitting on a asphalt driveway and was not even cutting. Husqvarna says they will not replace it after 30 days. We bought this tractor partly due to the excellent warranty. Now we find out the warranty is so exclusive that we will probably never be able to use it. Never buying another Husqvarna!

Purchased Lawnmower new from local Lowes end of May. I only used it about 4 times to cut 1.5 acres of grass. Lawnmower stopped moving and was smoking. Wouldnt go forward or backward. Loaded it up and took to local distributor because I owned it 41 days and Lowes absolved themselves after 30 for floor model mowing equipment. Local distributor has mower for 31 days. Meanwhile, I have to pay someone $100/week for these 4 weeks to cut my grass. Fast forward to August 1, when I get Lawnmower back from repair and they explain they fixed the transmission. Cut grass ONCE, and the very next time I try to use the mower again, it has the EXACT same problem: smoking and will not proceed forward or backward. I call the Husqvarna customer service line to try and seek resolution in the form of a replacement Lawnmower or my money back. Rep says he cant issue a refund or a new mower, that I have to go through the distributor again. Meanwhile, it rains every day and I will have to pay someone twice as much to cut this high grass. What a terrible piece of equipment that I wasted $1900 on! I am so upset and discouraged by their laissez-faire attitude. Do Not Purchase this!

In April 2014, I bought a new HU675AWD self-propelled mower (149cc Kohler engine, 22 cutting width) for residential use. In June, I took it in to an authorized service center because the throttle cable had frayed and stretched to the point where it would not engage the self-propulsion feature. It is now late August. The mower has been stuck in the shop with the part on back order for almost 6 weeks. I have had to make other arrangements throughout the high-growth spring weeks and through more than half the summer. Still no resolution in sight; a complete waste of money.

I called Husqvarna when I initially bought my mower to say I thought there must have been a packaging issue because the pull pins used to adjust height were broken off of the 2 models in the store. Apparently, pull pins are just a bad design. Mower has probably been used about 30 times, bought in 2015 for Kansas use, and have not had any problems. In fact, it has been great for all the reasons I did buy it! However, back to the pins. A friend mowed for me last week, and apparently put more muscle into pulling the pin for adjustment (which they are a little sticky sometimes) and it broke off in his hand. Just sayin... Bad design on those pull pins. Buyer beware, and Husqvarna fix that crap!

In August 2014 we purchased the Husqvarna Riding Mower YT54LS. We used the machines two seasons and by March and October 2015 we had the problems: 4 flanges for front wheel had to be replaced after 2 seasons of use. (They were greased). 2 wheels on the deck were cracked and broken and had to be replaced. 3 of the latches on the grass collector broke and had to be replaced. The lettering for height indicator is totally erased.Husqvarna Corporate refused to pay for replacement parts. These parts we considered defective and/or manufactured incorrectly. They did not examine the parts and just arbitrarily said it was due to improper maintenance. We mow 4 acres, we keep parts greased and we keep the mower clean and in the garage. After the denial we purchased 4 flanges/ bearings for the front tire, wheels for the deck and new latches for the grass collector. Too many problems indicate an inferior machine.

I purchased a brand new yth2346 lawn tractor in March. It only has twenty hours on it and the spindle for blades broke in two places. This is a working component that should be covered by warranty. But no, the 3 year limited warranty does not cover this mechanical failure because it is a item that wears. It broke in two places at point of bolts. This sounds like bolts was tightened too tight from manufacturer and cracked housing. Husqvarna refuses to pay for any repairs. To me they are not standing behind their name and their products. I could understand maybe a year and this breaking possibly but not In 20 hours. I am telling all my friends of this and anybody that reads this that husqvarnas warranty is very limited. I purchased my push mower about 2 years ago and I have had problems from the first week. First the belt that drives the wheels keep falling off. After about 20 times of this, I played with the spacers in order to get it to stay on for more than a month. Then one of the handles that you use to start the drive broke. I cannot get just the plastic handle. I have to spend $70 to get the whole assembly plus the cable. I have yet to replace it.This last breakage was the final straw. The drive cable broke due to a bad design. The cable rubs against a spring and there is no way around it. There should have been some shielding to protect the cable. The cable cost $40, but it will break again in 2 years due to the design. I had my previous mowers for about 8-10 years on average. I have never had such problems in my life. I regret the day I purchased this mower. If someone gave me $100 for it, I would sell it in a heart beat. Due to the design, I will have constant issues with this mower.

Husqvarna 173cc 21 Kohler Rear Bag Rear Propelled Lawn Mower - Ive had this mower for 2 1/2 years. It was purchased in the middle of summer 2011. It did not last from June until October and I had to take it in for service. I replaced the Carb 6 months later; first time mowing after winter, I replaced Carb again. It was not under warranty this time so it cost me $140. It didnt LAST the summer and I had to pay to rebuild the Carb. Today, the first time mowing this year, I have to take it in to REPLACE THE CARB. And yes, I have used Sta-Bil in the gas. Do yourself a favor. STAY AWAY from Husqvarna.

I bought the 55R21HVD mower because my daughter wanted to make money cutting the lawn, and my Honda that I am using again is not self-propelled. The Honda is 18 years old and has only been in the shop for routine maintenance. My daughter was complaining about how hard it was to use the mower. The self-propelled would not disengage when pulling the mower backwards. You have to lift the rear wheels off the ground, engage, and then disengage the drive unit to get the system to release. The knobs fell off; the clipping bag falls off. The wheel height will not stay in place so the deck drops down and scalps the grass. It was still under warranty so I took it 30 miles down the road to get it repaired, and the first time she used it nothing had been fixed. They didnt replace the missing knobs. Since then, the gas leaks someplace; the rear axle height shaft broke so when I welded it, I saw the poor quality of the welds someone had put on. The air filter case is broken; more parts have fallen off the bag, and this is the engine of all the powered equipment I own that I have to prime in the spring to get running. It has an auto choke system that doesnt work as well. The part that really upsets me is that you cannot talk with anyone who makes more than minimum wage. Husqvarna has no customer service. I have never seen anything so poorly designed. Do they want me to buy parts that are guaranteed to fail over and over? This is by far the work money I have ever spent. I wouldnt want it on my conscience if someone got hurt using a product that looks like it is made to fail.

Clutch engage cable broke after 26 hours. Looked at it and it was frayed at both ends and had a clean cut in the middle. Obviously defective, frayed and mounted incorrectly. Got cut clean through by a blade pulley. Took problem to local (sort of, but closest) authorized dealer and they refused warranty for the fact that they tried 7 different ways and the computer would not take it. So I had no other choice but to pay for the cable and replace it myself. But the repair center was so sympathetic that he even expressed that he felt my pain and frustration. That made me feel so much better. Yeh, right. So, I contacted Husqvarna for reimbursement. Husqvarna website form was useless...no response. 1 (800) 487-5951 Husqvarna Group, customer service phone. Called and spent 45 minutes. 1st level agreed with service center immediately so I asked to speak to supervisor. Told that it could not be escalated until I got the reason from the local center. I told them I refused to go back to them for the reason they already gave me and then have to call Husqvarna back, let me speak to a supervisor. So they took all information about tractor and gave me a escalation number, and if I lost it, they could do nothing. Long wait times and finally another operator said they cannot override the local repair center. They would not refund me. They could only send me a replacement (of which I already had!). That is the best I could get, though useless unless it breaks again, though I mounted it correctly.Customer support puts too much on the consumer and customer and anything you do wrong will negate the customer service request. They give you the runaround. Too many level and requirements to get answers or satisfaction, if at all possible. They say, If you lose the number... Lots of reasons and info needed to escalate to simply speak to a supervisor. They say, Need reasons for dealer even though you already got them. They say they cannot override dealer decisions...the dealer has the final decision. Husqvarna gives too much power of decision to local repair centers and dealers and cannot override their decisions. I will never buy another Husqvarna anything ever again, even with the 3 years warranty temptation. As other reviews state, the warranty is of little value or just plain worthless.

Been a very reliable mower at a very reasonable price, the only parts we have had to replace are the blades and a drive belt. It is the 750 V twin engine and has lots of power to pull our trailer add-ons. Never been stuck through not enough power but have been stuck through only one rear wheel drive and wheels churned the grass to mud then lost traction. 2 wheel drive, gears for more control of speed would make this great mower even better. I purchased a 440 Husqvarna chainsaw less than a year ago. Ever since I took it out of the box, it has been hard to start. I took to an authorized Husqvarna repair shop to see why it was so hard to start and was told that, after removing the muffler, they could see that the piston was showing signs of being discolored from overheating. I was told that the warranty was voided because I was not using Husqvarna brand 2-cycle oil. I was using ACE Hardwarde 2-cycle oil and that the same mixture was working in all of my other 2-cycle engines. I asked if there was another reason the engine could overheat and was told that a too lean fuel adjustment could be the cause but that they did not have the time to do further investigation and most likely Husqvarna would refuse any warranty work anyway. On Husqvarnas suggestion, I took it to another authorized repair shop who confirmed that the carburetor was set out-of-limits and was in the full lean position. Husqvarna still refused any responsibility for the malfunction. I was told that there was no one in Husqvarna that can override a decision made by their warranty department. My advise is not to count on any warranty help from Husqvarna.

I just finished my third mowing season with a 54 inch Husqvarna lawn tractor purchased from a dealer not a big box store. Mine has the kawasaki 26 HP engine which works fine, no issues. My problem started when I noticed the brackets that are welded to the deck were starting to tear off. I guess the weight of the deck is quite heavy for these under-engineered brackets. My old 42 craftsman lasted 5 seasons before I sold it for $500 to get this one. The brackets on that one lasted almost to end, I did weld those. We modified the Husqvarna bracket with additional supports to help with the weight. For the amount of money we spent on our Husqvarna YTH26V54 youd expect AT LEAST some quality in the product. However, from the battery constantly draining and needing to be jumpstarted to the belts needing to be replaced as well as a rod breaking. Not worth the money, the hassle, or headaches its provided. Id have better luck with a pair of scissors versus this lawn mower. Research before you buy and dont waste your money on something like this one.

I purchased my Z246 Zero turn mower in 2015 new at the end of the cutting season. The first year or so was great. It was lightly used. The property was flat with no major bumps, etc. The next year, a piece that engages the deck broke. It was covered by my extended warranty so it was fixed. My third year into the mower is when I started to have problems. The spindles broke a least 1x each mowing season. The pulley wore out. The deck broke where it attaches to the frame and I had to have it welded back in two spots. The next year the deck began to split apart horizontally on once side and vertical on the other and I had to replace the spindles again. Now...heading into the new mowing season, one spindle needs replacing again and needs new screws and the deck is kaput. I will never buy another Husqvarna mower. Very very disappointed in the quality of a mower I paid thousands for.

I purchased a Husqvarna LGT 2654 garden tractor 5/17/2014. Big mistake! Just over 2yrs later and the transmission is shot. I have just under 2 acres of land and one hill on the side of my house. The guy at Lowes where I purchased the tractor told me I need a heavy duty tractor to do my yard which that is why I purchased a garden tractor. I talked with somebody from Husqvarna and two Husqvarna dealers because I get two different stories on the warranty. I was told the warranty is only good for 2 years and then someone else tells me 3 years. Both dealers told me they would have to contact Husqvarna and Tuff Torq the manufacturer of the transmission to see if warranty would cover transmission. Good luck on that one. I had to keep calling them because they would not get back with you. Then I was told I would have to pay around $1000.00 for a new transmission. I went with Husqvarna because I thought they were a reputable company and was in business for a long time. I guess they are just to big now to care about their customers. I will never purchase another Husqvarna product again.

On April 1st, 2012, we purchased Tractor Husqvarna Model YTH24K48 from Lowes store 0730 without first reading the horror stories depicted in here. On 9/15/12, after 5 sorties and only 11 hours of operation, the drive belt broke. I called Husqvarna Customer Service (no-service?). The agent arrogantly told me to read the warranty, Sir, it specifically says belts & blades are not under warranty, blah, blah. I felt like a kindergarten pupil lectured by a mean teacher. At the end, I even apologized for my ignorance. I went to Lowes (0730/Douglasville, GA). What a difference! Sandra, the customer service agent, attentively listened to my plight and decided to call Sonja, the store manager, who also politely listened to my story. I got the belt for free and she apologized for Husqvarnas rude service. Once again I was impressed with Lowes customer service. I know I purchased a bad product ($2K+) but I dont blame Lowes. On the contrary, Ill continue to buy there any product without hesitation. Caveat Emptor. Its my fault; I should have done more research, i.e. on this site!

My girlfriend and I bought a new Husqvarna GT52XLS FOR $3,339.00 IN CASH on June 21, 2013. The dealer did their set-up and delivered it that afternoon. I noticed that they did not fill the gas tank like they promised. So I filled it up and started to mow the lawn. About an hour of mowing, I started to hear a noise coming from the engine. I stopped and checked the oil and there was NO oil on the stick. I called the dealer to let them know and went down to get a qt. of oil from them. The mower took the whole qt. to put it between the lines.I went back and finished the lawn and the mower had 2 1/2 hours on the meter. I looked it all over to see if there were any leaks at all and saw none. Then I checked the oil again and there was NO oil on the stick again. I cleaned it up like I do every time I mow the lawn. The following morning, I went to the dealer and told them about it and asked them to replace it with a new one. They came by Monday morning to look at the mower and also found that there was no oil on the stick. Andy put in another qt. of oil and that filled it up. He then ran it for about 15 minutes to check for leaks or to see if it was burning any oil. He did not find any. Later that morning, they came by to pick it up so they could check it at the shop. That afternoon, the owner called and said that they couldnt find anything wrong with it from having it sit and run for 5.2 hours. On Tuesday morning, we went down to the dealer to see what they would do. The owner was in the back and did not come out to talk with us. Instead we dealt with one his employees. After 1 1/2 hours of my girlfriend talking to them, they said there was nothing wrong with it and that they would only stand behind the warranty on the mower. We asked for a new mower, a new engine (Kawasaki motor to replace the one that was in there), and we asked if they would fix any problem with the Kawasaki engine after the warranty ran out. Their answer was NO!!! So we asked to return it. They had to check with the owner who was in the back during the whole time. They gave us a check for $3,339.00, the same price we paid for it. When we took it to the bank that it was written on, we had to pay $7.50 to cash it.

I purchased a zero turn less than 1 year ago. After only 6 hours of use the spindle started smoking. The dealer took it into the shop for repair. Two weeks later I got it back. In the spring this year, after only 9 hours of use the spindle started making grinding noises and smoking again. This time they replaced the spindle and the pulleys. Two weeks later after I got the mower back it immediately started making strange noises. I called Husqvarna consumer support and told them I believe I have a lemon for a mower. The customer service agent told me to contact the dealer again and have them pick it up to be looked at. I attempted to cut my grass again and with only 10 hours of use the mower melt came off and would not drive. The dealer picked up the mower and it has been in their possession for almost 3 weeks. I called Husqvarna customer service again and spoke with **. He told me that I need to deal with the dealer and there was nothing and no one else I can talk to about my issues. I specifically asked to speak with his supervisor. He refused to do so. I repeatedly asked for another manager or anybody that can help me resolve my issues. He said there was no other person in the entire company that I can contact about my problem. I explained that I am very frustrated because I, the consumer, have a $4000 lawn mower that has spent more time being worked on and in the possession of the dealer than it has in my possession doing it intended purpose. I just want a mower that works!

Finally scheduled a repair through the purchase place and they are charging me 200 bucks to pick it up. Worst lawn mower ever. Never again. My mower RZ4623 with extended warranty. The welds on the mower deck broke, mower 15 months old. Would not cover under warranty. I was told that they said theyre all breaking because mower was transported on a trailer???????? I picked it up with a trailer, nothing was said about it. The service center picked it up with a trailer, brought it back with a trailer. Apparently most of this model has the same problem. Its a factory defect and they wont own up to it.This mower is no good, their warranty is no good, and their reputation is no longer good. It is not hard to see this product should be recalled. Besides that, the mower deck rattles like crazy, belt flops around, and comes off. There was no grease in anything. Had to grease all before using. Seat is already cracking apart, loose bolts. I am TOTALLY disappointed in this mower. Money I spent on warranty was a waste. Money spent on the mower was a waste. They did say my ignition switch was covered under warranty (Oh yeah, that is going bad too). STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND COMPANY OR YOULL GET SCREWED. You have been warned. They are no longer the company of good products it used to be. VERY ANGRY. WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. If Lowes was smart, they would stop selling them. It is making them look bad too.

On 7/22/2010, I received a new Husqvarna Rotary Lawn Mower (Part no: 917.376823 / Product no: 7021) as part of an exchange for another mower from Sears. After two weeks, I was told the problem was with the mowers carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me. On 6/20/2011, the mower stopped running and I had to return it to Sears. The problem was again the carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me after 2 weeks. On 10/8/2011, the mower stopped running and I had to return it to Sears. The problem was the carburetor; it was repaired and returned to me after two weeks. On 5/1/2012, the mower stopped working. I returned it to Sears and they told me it was yet again a problem with the Carburetor. It was repaired and returned to me on 5/19/2012. I have since purchased a Toro lawn mower. On 10/6/2012, I decided to use the Husqvarna and the mower stopped running after a short period of time. I will not be returning it to Sears; I know what the problem is. Husqvarna and B&s stonewalled every attempt to recover my loss. THE DEALER, not Husq or BS, absorbed the cost of a new engine after determining I was 100% correct. After 60hrs, the new engine is using excessive oil. DONT BUY ANYTHING THAT SAYS B&S OR HUSQVARNA.

I purchased the riding mower last year. Overall it is a decent piece of equipment. One area of concern are the rear tires. It seems every time I go to mow, my tires spin on flat surfaces. Sometimes it is wet, but happens just as much on dry grass. I sent a letter to customer service asking for a solution because it is ruining my grass from the constant spinning of the wheels. I was sent an email within a day that someone would reach out to me within a few days and was given a claim number. Three weeks later, after no response, I sent a second email with the assigned claim number that was given to me initially. Well, it has been another two weeks and nothing. Im not asking for anything but suggestions. The tires that came with the mower are horrible. I never had any issues with any other mowers that I have used. If I dont get some response I will take other avenues to voice my displeasure.

DO NOT BUY ANY HUSQVARNA products. They are inferior machines. I purchased a YTH23V48 riding lawn mower 1 year ago. It has 27 hours on it and has been in the shop 4 times!!! Will not cut even and doesnt vacuum up the grass properly (purchased 3 bag system as well) so I have to cut the grass twice to get all the clippings. Waste of time and $$. Paid over $2K for this machine; deck was replaced which they said was bent. Put 3 sets of blades to no avail with 3 deck alignments, the crazy thing is to ONLY make right turns when cutting ridiculous so as not to leave grass clippings everywhere.

Problem with blade and bolt falling off new Husqvarna GTH26V52LS Garden Tra
Problem with blade and bolt falling off new Husqvarna GTH26V52LS Garden Tractor, three times in the 1st year of ownership: Will Husqvarna wait until someone is seriously injured or killed by loose blade? I am angry and dissatisfied. I have contacted the corporate offices as well as the dealership and their home office with no response. On 6/2/11, I purchased a new Husqvarna GTH26V52LS Garden Tractor from STI Turf Care in Colfax, NC. The 2nd day I used the mower with only 5 hours on it, a blade and bolt dropped from the mower. I never heard anything and had mowed a while before I saw the blade and bolt on the ground, together with bolt threads up from the center of the star hole of the blade. I mow a lot of grass and my lawn is certainly not a golf course, but was on smooth and level ground when this happened. The dealer was not going to even come and pick up the 2-day old mower with only 5 hours on it or cover under warranty. They insisted I must have hit something to shear off the bolt. I did not. After planning to return the mower for full refund, the dealer finally agreed to pick it up and make repairs. Im sure they put the same blade and bolt back on the machine. Then in October 2011 (5-month old mower with 88 hours on it), a blade fell off again and I found the bolt within one foot of the blade. Perfectly smooth and level ground once again. The dealer again flatly refused to pick up the mower and make repairs under warranty. I misplaced the bolt in my garage and they priced a new one for $10.00 (no warranty since it had to be my fault per the dealer). I went to LTD in King, NC and bought a new factory bolt for under $6.00. The local repairman I have always trusted to service three John Deere and Toro Wheelhorse (I have used on the same grounds past 15 years without ever having a blade fall off in any of them!). He made the repair, sharpened all the blades and serviced the machine. I decided after their ripoff price for the part that should be warrantied, overall poor service attitude and not standing behind their product, I would not deal with STI again. All went well until yesterday, 6/16/12, with 111.5 hours and just over one year old, the blade fell off again on perfectly smooth and level ground. As with other two times, no noise or any idea blade was off until I came around and saw it on the ground. This time, I cannot find the bolt. I am extremely aggravated and disappointed considering the price I paid for this machine. I am not abusing the tractor or subjecting it to anything or anywhere my two JD or Toro have gone before. Cutting at 2.5 to 3 and no obstacles. This problem is not from the operator; it has to be a mechanical defect. I have not marked the blades so I have no idea if it is the same blade each time. What do you suggest? I received no help from dealership.

Do not ever buy a push mower from Husqvarna. 1st pull of string or last eventually the metal cover for shaft will break literally in half putting you or something in danger of being hit by 1/4 in steel and a good size chunk of it! Took it to certified lawn mower repair man. He said its common in these and almost everyone WILL do it eventually, so got it repaired. Found an old push mower for my small, flat yard and havent had a problem - got it free or Id burn down their factory! So Ill make $ selling to some idiot.

I bought this to replace an old Craftsman riding mower that had served me well. This model has essentially the same body as the Craftsman so I was able to look at the old Craftsman to see why the Husqvarna was so low to the ground. The Husqvarna body is directly bolted to the rear axle while the Craftsman has a bracket that lifts the body about an inch above the rear axle. Because of this, the mower deck on the Husqvarna cant be properly adjusted. Also, when I use it to pull a broadcast spreader, the spreader is tipped forward too much and the mover deck is dragged through the grass the whole time. Ive since found many reports of this problem. Too bad I hadnt seen these reports before I bought it earlier this year.

I purchased a new Husqvarna ST224 snow blower November 17, 2014. Our first snow was today, January 6, 2015. I have about 5 inches of snow on my driveway and when I started to clear it with my brand new, never used Husqvarna snow blower after about ten minutes of us the drive wheels stopped turning and parts fell out the under side of the snow blower. When I called the owner of Mower Zone in Danville, Indiana his response was, I sorry but it is mechanical and sometimes mechanical things break. I understand mechanical thinks breaking but not in the first ten minutes of use! The Manager of Mower Zone said he would send someone to pick it up and see if they could fix it. I ask for a loaner to be able to clear my driveway and he said they didnt do that. If that isnt enough to steer you away from Husqvarna, there was a $50 mail in rebate on this model snow blower. I sent in the rebate form and have not received the rebate. When I try to call to find out the status I get a recording telling me they are having technical problems and my call cannot be processed and I should call back at another time. This has been going on for weeks. I know I will never see my $50 rebate Husqvarna promised.

From very beginning our 24HP YTA24V48 48 B&S INTEK V-TWIN with 3-year extended warranty would not pull upgrade once warmed up. The pedals also lock up and have to be stomped to work. Took to the same dealer twice during the first year. Each time they claimed they could find nothing wrong. Took to a different dealer. They said that the transmission is in a vinyl housing and that they have had many of these brought in with the same complaint. After two months, they said Husqvarna would not approve replacement of the transmission. After two more weeks they still told me the same. I picked the mower up and use only on level terrain. Bought a Cub Cadet for mowing the hillsides and it works beautifully. My three-year extended warranty was worthless.

Bought this blower September 2014. Ran great until Feb 2015. Has been used maybe 12 hours and when I went to start the blower it was locked up. I always use gas without ethanol and Stihl oil. I removed spark plug, tapped the top of the piston lightly with a flat punch and the piston broke free. Replaced the gas and oil and tried to start, to no avail. Removed spark plug and checked the compression. There was none. It evidently has a broken compression ring. I have owned an equipment repair shop for 10 years. I am on my way to the trashcan and donating this blower to it. I am not even going to attempt to deal with their warranty. There will be a new Stihl in my shop tomorrow.

I bought a new garden tractor/riding mower from Husqvarna via Amazon in March 2017. Within two months it would not go into reverse. I used it as is so I could care for the 10-acre garden/lawn/orchard/vineyard I maintain until the damn thing blew up, scattering parts everywhere. It was the transmission and the clutch. Under warranty. Called Husqvarna to find a local dealer for service (I live in an extremely remote area of the US) and was referred to one some miles away who refused to service my tractor because I had not bought it from him. Called Husqvarna to report this and to see what else I could do. Turns out there was a dealer in the town closest to me, which they had failed to mention first time. It sat in the shop for weeks as we waited for parts and/or argued with Husqvarna about the warranty. Finally got it back and guess what? Two months later the transmission did the same thing: No reverse and then no forward either. It has been in the shop for weeks while we wait for parts that are back ordered or whatever is the most recent excuse. In short, out of the 17 months that I have had ownership of this equipment, I have had only 4 months of full service. I have had three garden tractors over the years and never had these kinds of problems. I will never, ever buy a Husqvarna again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Not only is the product inferior (plastic parts in a transmission?!) but the customer service is terrible. Perhaps I have a lemon (that can happen) but I will never take a chance like this again - and it cost twice what I am accustomed to paying! In truth, Id just like my money back so I can buy something that performs. And I have any number of witnesses to this so Husqvarna cannot dispute my claims.

Bought a 4824f zero turn last yr. Ran great. Ended up with about 42 hrs. on it. It started fine this yr., but since then had 5 issues. First was supposedly because of the gas and ethanol, but it wouldnt fire. I put gas on spark plugs and no fire. The mechanic claimed because of water and tore the carburetor apart twice. He DID get started so ok. That was $205, I paid. Then I mowed a lawn and had to clean the deck. When I got back on it, no start again. Solenoid this time. So the dealer replaced it no cost. Yaaaa. Then I mowed two lawns and the next time I jump on it, no start. Take it back to the dealer because electrically, something is wrong. The mechanic replaced the starter after 1 1/2 wks. And it starts. Then he puts the starter on his bench and guess what, the bendix no longer was stuck. It worked fine. What is going on!? Finally today I mowed my lawn, and it stopped in midstream. I thought I ran out of gas, but I checked and had gas. Jumped back on it and nothing. No noise whatsoever. I checked voltage and had 12.74 V to the started. No what. I figure what of the sensors. A buddy of mine said maybe a fuse to the ignition. Why, why, why? 52 hrs. and so bs ready to trade, sell, and go somewhere else.

Today the Smart Switch popped, caught on fire and smoked. Luckily it didnt hit my hand. Now we cant start and use the mower unless we pay $250 for a new switch. Garbage is what I would call this machine and its dangerous garbage.

I bought a new 130BT backpack blower in June of 2011, used it across the summer and into the fall. In late fall, I noticed that it was not developing power as it should. I set it up for the winter and took it to Lowes in the spring of this year to have it sent off and repaired. After about a month, I received a call from the authorized service center telling me that the repairs were not covered under warranty. Caller said that there was excessive moisture in gas, therefore, diluting the oil in the mixture, and scouring the cylinder walls and trashing the carb. I used the Husky oil purchased at Lowes and followed instructions on type of gas and mixing. I mean, seriously, I have only been mixing 2-cycle oil for 25 years, and have never had a problem in the past. I have been told that gasoline with ethanol will cause a problem such as this, as the ethanol will evaporate leaving excessive moisture in the gasoline. If this is the case, why does Husky not publish this in their 2-cycle manuals so consumers will buy ethanol free? I told the caller to take the blower out back and toss it as far as they could, and I would go buy an Echo blower to replace it. I went by Lowes today to pick up the thing, as they would not even dispose of it as I asked.

I have had a YTH24V48 for over 3 years and it has been a great mower. We clean the air filter often and change the oil and filter as required. The only problems we have had is when I hit rocks. We move about 4 acres with it, during the summer each weekend during the winter about once every 4 weeks. Living in Texas the grass grows all year long. I recently purchased a Z254 and this is a beast. Great mower - starts and runs like a top. No problems with it at all. Again we change the oil, oil filter and air filter when required and clean it after every use.

I have a 1&1/2 yr old lawn mower and chainsaw. Neither will work after average use on my lawn and on the Brazilian peppers that invade my yard each year. Ive put a new spark plug and air filter in the mower and it still wont run. Poorly designed without a manual choke. They claimed it would start first time every time. Boy that was a lie! A simple choke would make it easier to start and the frame is rusting out horribly. After 1&1/2 yrs the chainsaw, compared to my old Homelite, is impossible to keep running. When I manage to get it running. Poorly designed chain tensioner. Impossible to get and keep the tensioner in a workable position. And it came with the manifold cover finger-tightened down and promptly fell off. Last time I buy anything with this brand name on it.

DO NOT BUY A HUSQVARNA - I did and I regret it. I am preparing to return my Husqvarna GTH52XLS garden tractor to the dealer for the 3rd time this summer. It started out running very rough, and then would die. When I took it in the second time, for the same problem, during that trip to the dealer I was told that I had an additional problem of the clutch being bad and would be going out. Fortunately this problem, as well as the idler pulley (which was also going out) were still covered under the factory warranty. I picked up the garden tractor yesterday, after it had been in the shop for 24 days, I brought it home and everything seemed to be working fine. I mowed for approximately 1 hour and brought it to the garage to add fuel. After refueling the mower would not start, it fired slowly and then would die. I called the dealer and he told me to bring it in again. Each time I take it to them it costs me $65 to rent a trailer for the round trip. Each time they have the mower they have kept it for at least 18 days. I spend a lot of money on this mower, over $3,400, and I expected a quality piece of equipment, it has been anything but a quality machine. Each dealer in my area, that I have spoken to, has told me that they stopped being a dealer and no longer carry Husqvarna parts. They said that the reason for no longer being a dealer has to with the quality of the machines and the fact that it takes them so long to get replacement parts, they report wait times of 6 weeks and sometimes even longer - they are getting tired of getting complaints from their customers. Although I have approximately 135 hours on the mower and I have had it for about 1 1/2 years, I am going to see what it will take to return it and to get my money back. I realize that I will undoubtedly have little luck with this, I am still going to try.

Bought a Riding mower. Made by Husqvarna. Garden tractor mower. Piss-poor. I own a tree removal service and quit buying Husqvarna chainsaws about 6 years ago. I use to swear by them. But Im done with them, never again. There got my last dollar. Bought this mower from Lowes. I have to say all power equipment is not what it use to be due to federal EPA regulations. Ive had nothing but problems with Husqvarna stuff. Over last several years. Use to think their Husqvarna 350 saw was the best in its class but that went to chit too, had the mufflers fall off, same with the 575xp. Stay far away from this brand. From a pro.

After two years of relatively light use, my Husqvarna Chainsaw 455 Rancher
After two years of relatively light use, my Husqvarna Chainsaw 455 Rancher suddenly wouldnt start. I took it to an authorized service center who after examining it, said the engine had seized. He said the fuel mixture was set too lean causing insufficient lubrication in the cylinder. What?! Firstly, I never adjusted the fuel mixture because I didnt know how. Secondly, the manual says there is a factory installed limiter cap on the mixture adjusting screw to guard against inadvertent damage to the engine caused by improper adjustment. So tell me how the engine could seize if there is a factory installed safeguard? Dealer couldnt tell me. He said that the limiter may have been defective. Since the saw is just out of its two year warranty, the service center could do nothing for me. So, Im out nearly $400 on a saw that has to be trashed. I bought a Husky based on its brand reputation, in which after reading all the negative reviews and my own experience, I will replace this saw with a Stihl.
