Ford Automobile Model 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid

2026 Ford Escape Hybrid

The 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid is a compact SUV with a hybrid powertrain, designed to combine the practicality and utility of an SUV with improved fuel efficiency and lower overall energy use. Compared with the standard gasoline-only Escape, the Hybrid version uses a combination of a gasoline engine and electric motors to deliver smooth performance and better efficiency in everyday driving.

The Escape Hybrid is a strong choice for drivers who want the space and convenience of an SUV but also want better fuel economy and lower running costs.

Hybrid Powertrain and Performance

Instead of operating solely on gasoline, the Escape Hybrid uses:

A gasoline engine

One or more electric motors

A battery pack that stores and recovers energy

This hybrid system works together to:

Improve fuel efficiency compared with gas-only models

Provide responsive power delivery in city traffic and highway cruising

Capture energy during braking and use it to assist acceleration

Unlike plug-in hybrids, the Escape Hybrid doesn’t need to be plugged in to recharge — it recharges automatically through driving and regenerative braking.

Driving Experience

The hybrid powertrain gives the Escape Hybrid a smooth and efficient driving feel:

Electric assist at low speeds helps reduce gasoline use in stop-and-go traffic

Seamless transitions between electric and gasoline power keep acceleration feeling natural

Comfortable ride and responsive steering make it suited for everyday driving

The SUV’s structure and suspension are tuned for balance and comfort rather than sporty handling, making it a good match for daily commuting, errands, and highway travel.

Drivetrain and Traction Options

The Escape Hybrid is typically offered in:

Front-Wheel Drive (FWD)

Standard on many trims

Maximizes efficiency and everyday usability

All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

Optional on select trims

Improves traction in rain, snow, or light off-pavement situations

Adds confidence in variable weather without a major efficiency penalty

The AWD system delivers additional traction when needed while still maintaining good fuel economy for a hybrid SUV.

Interior Comfort and Practicality

Inside, the Escape Hybrid focuses on comfort, space, and flexibility:

Seating and Passenger Space

Comfortable seating for up to five people

Ample headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers

Seats designed for long drives and daily use

Cargo Area

A rear cargo area that’s practical for groceries, luggage, gear, and everyday items

Rear seats that fold down to create extra space for larger items

Storage areas and cup holders throughout the cabin

This makes the SUV easy to live with whether you’re commuting, shopping, or going on trips.

Technology and Connectivity

The Escape Hybrid includes modern technology designed to keep the driver connected:

A central touchscreen for media, apps, and vehicle functions

Smartphone integration for music, calls, navigation, and more

Voice command features to reduce distraction while driving

These tech features help make everyday driving more enjoyable and convenient.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The 2026 Escape Hybrid comes with a suite of safety and driver-assist systems that help support confident driving:

Automatic emergency braking and collision alerts

Lane-keeping assistance systems

Blind-spot monitoring

Rear-view camera and parking aids

These systems help make daily driving easier and safer on highways, city streets, and parking lots.

Practicality and Everyday Use

The hybrid powertrain gives the Escape Hybrid advantages that fit daily life:

Better fuel economy for commuting and errands

Electric-assist power delivery for smooth city driving

Comfortable interior for passengers and cargo

Flexible seating and cargo layouts to match different uses

It’s an SUV that feels practical for most everyday needs without being too large or complicated.

Who It’s For

The 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid is ideal for:

Commuters who want improved fuel efficiency

Small families or individuals needing SUV space

Drivers who value comfort and connectivity

Anyone who wants a balanced SUV with hybrid economy and everyday usability

It’s a good choice if you want SUV capability and space but also want to save on fuel use over time.

Summary

The 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid blends:

A hybrid powertrain for better fuel efficiency and smooth performance

Comfortable interior space with flexible cargo options

Modern tech and connectivity features

Safety systems to help with everyday driving

Optional AWD for varied weather and road conditions

Overall, it’s a well-rounded compact hybrid SUV built for daily life, weekend plans, and efficient everyday driving.

I purchased a Ford Focus about a year ago. I have been to the shop 5 times now because of the clutch shudder on the transmission. It still is not fixed. I called customer service at Ford and am still waiting for a callback. If you cant fix a problem on your car why are you still selling it? My next step is to contact an attorney. I will never buy a Ford again.

I purchased a leased returned 2013 Ford Edge. Within a few months of my purchase my compressor came apart. Their warranty is 3 year/36,000 mile warranty is transferable... but it is 3 years from the original delivery date. I was 19 days past the 3 years of delivery date and Ford was unwilling to honor or work with me on the part failure. Take this posting as an FYI.

Woke up at 1:45 AM to the sound of a horn from a car in the driveway. I thought someone was breaking into the A6, but upon looking out the kitchen door, I saw that the 2000 Ford 150 XLT was on fire. The hood was on fire, so we moved the A6 out of the way and called 911. The truck had been parked since 4:00 PM the previous afternoon, with no flammable items inside and no noticeable irregularities with the operation of the truck. We have no idea why the fire started, but the truck and the contents are a total loss.

We have a chronic problem with a function on our vehicle. We have had to call roadside assistance every other month for the past while. Almost every time they send a towing company that doesnt service this area. I tell them when I call that this is a problem and to please send someone who services this area. They dont. So, after waiting for the tow truck company that does not service the area we have to wait for a tow truck company that does service the area!

I know many of you already know how angry I am at Ford, but let me just tell yall about how Mark Martin Ford and Kia in Batesville, AR has made it worse. Keep in mind, Ive already had to have three other recall issues fixed (one of which is the clutch which is getting fixed again). So my car had stopped turning off for a week or so when I pressed the off button. Even when I left the vehicle and took my keys, it sounded like the engine continued to run for another ten minutes until it went off although the internal stuff turned off. On top of that, it had been hesitating to accelerate and shuddering, making it difficult and sketchy to drive. Which by the way, is an issue of which a class action lawsuit was filed against Ford and Ford lost a couple years ago.My battery had been tested a few days before this even happened and it was good. Almost a week ago, the engine wouldnt turn on when I tried to start it, but all of its internal lights and components turned on and wouldnt shut off. It became a very loud blinky, electrical hassle to get them to turn off. My cousin came over to try to jump my battery but nothing happened. He tested it at that time and it showed the battery was fine. Ford towed it to their service department and I didnt hear anything except that they wouldnt be able to look at it until late Friday. So I didnt hear anything until Monday when they said my problem was I just had a bad battery. And that I would have to pay at least $130 for that. They also said they would have to replace my clutch but that would be covered under warranty. At no point did they explain why my car wouldnt shut off when it should have, but they said itll be ready today. I said I disagreed on the battery and the service manager said well you can have your old battery back and not pay a thing then. But still no explanation of why my car wouldnt shut off and said that couldnt be related to my battery going bad overnight. Mark Martin Ford had my car for two days before even looking at my car. So in my mind, my battery went bad somewhere between that Thursday morning and whenever they looked at it on Friday or Monday morning.I called Ford customer service corporate where they gave me a case number and told me the service manager at Mark Martin Ford and Kia would call me about it which didnt happen. When I called him, he told me he didnt even know what a case number was and said I needed to call Ford. I called Ford and they said its the dealerships problem, call them. Both of them hyperfixated on the fact that my battery was dead and didnt explain or care about the other issues. So, how they are going to resolve it: put my old, now bad battery back on and I can take it as is, no payment necessary. Instead of fixing the actual problem of my car not turning on and off when it should. Sounds like the professional type of Ford service youll hear about when you get put on hold for forty minutes. They both said maybe I should talk to the manager. Flashback to six months after I even bought the car when I talked to the manager and he told me it was my problem because I bought the car to begin with. This after I had already had a leak, had to spend a month and a half to even get a spare key, and dealt with one or two recall issues where after they fixed it, I had problems after. He and Ford, as a company, have reminded me how bad of a reputation Ford has and why I never want to deal with them again. I have no idea why I let myself get talked into buying a Ford in the first place but it was a mistake all around. I want to urge yall to never buy a Ford Fiesta or Focus at the very least and to reconsider going to Mark Martin Ford in the future for a car. I paid full asking price for this car and it has plagued me and will continue to plague met until I get rid of it.

Ford Motor Credit is attempting to charge me a $100 fee for a speeding tick
Ford Motor Credit is attempting to charge me a $100 fee for a speeding ticket on my vehicle. Ford notified me of the ticket and I proceeded to immediately contest the ticket. About 30 days afterwards, I find the fee of $100 on my account. I called Ford and notified them that it was my intention to contest the ticket and that by them having paid it, they are precluding me from being able to continue with the contestment. After waiting for over 8 days for a supervisor to contact me, I just spoke to Miguel ** who was very disrespectful, called me a liar, and told me that he will not remove the fee. I told Mr. ** that I will use this to end my lease and proceed to file in small claims court and that I would be mentioning him by name and he stated Go ahead and do it. Im writing it down.I have never been so disrespected when dealing with another company and I want the fee removed. I followed the instructions on the letter to call the jurisdiction to contest the ticket and Ford proceeded to pay the ticket and attempt to charge me for it. The letter contained a typo which confused me and even after having admitted to the mistake, Mr. ** refuses to eliminate the fee. I will not pay the ticket and I want it removed. I also want ** held accountable for his disrespect and actions.

I drove my 2001 F-150 to the store today, came home and parked it in my apartment complexs parking lot at approximately 3:30PM. My wife came home at around 9PM to find my truck engulfed in flames. I have had no serious issues with this truck since I bought it 10 years ago. Tonight, it burst into flames and I looked up on spontaneous combustion on Ford trucks on a whim and find this a pretty common occurrence. Thanks Ford, being a paid for truck, I only carried liability and am now out of a ride. Thanks again Ford. I have owned Ford vehicles all my life. Guess I will buy a Chevy and leave my Ford - Found On Road Dead.

I bought my 2014 Ford Fiesta Sedan (manual) in late 2013/early 2014 from Sun State Ford in Orlando FL. The car was BRAND NEW. Literally, I drove it off the lot with 7 miles on it. Fast forward to August 2016 and my transmission no longer goes into 3rd gear. I call Sun State Ford and leave a message, wait 2 days... no call back, I call again, no call back, call again next week, no call back. This process continues on for another 2-3 weeks until I finally got back from my travels abroad and decide to call them and act like a new customer. This time I do get a call back and they are more than happy to sell me a new car with their wonderful 15 year 150k mile warranty. After I get all the info I need and confirmation that drivetrain will be covered for 15 years and 150k miles, I change up the story and tell them about the car I bought and how the Finance Manager thats in charge of warranty claims like mine will not speak to me or return my calls.Fast forward 10 minutes of back and fort Q&A from Sun State Ford customer service rep and she tells me Im going to walk to the other side of our campus and have the manager call you directly, please allow me no more than 5 minutes. I oblige and thank her for her wonderful customer service and help, considering shes been the only one to ease my headache of 3 weeks now, almost a month. 5 minutes go by, 10 minutes go by, 15 mins go by, 30 mins go by. I call back, no answer. I call the customer service department... NO ANSWER! Are you ** kidding me???Now, I will be driving 1000 miles in my ** Sun State Ford in Orlando, FL from Baltimore, MD just to raise hell. At the same time I have paid my lawyer $400 to start working on my case. Good luck Ford and Sun State Ford in Orlando FL. Have fun fixing my car and paying me for it. 1/10 Service. NEVER EVER buying a car from Ford again. Also, my lawyer is set to start a class action lawsuit because apparently there are 100-400 similar issues to mine all over the US.

My 2001 Mercury Sable LS had two broken coil springs in the rear and my wife was commuting with my daughter in the car. I noticed the sag and took it into the shop and told me that if I had waited any longer, she would have had an accident because the spring had corkscrewed a few inches from the inside sidewall! Ford would not cover it, even though it is a defect in metal and quality. It cost me $700 to replace rear suspension. Then my cars front tires were wearing unevenly, so I brought it to the tire shop to have it balanced and rotated. I asked the technician what he noticed and said the tires were wearing a little weird. I already knew I had a problem from there. I brought it to a reputable local front end shop and they found broken springs in the front! I called Ford to complain and they said that there was an extended customer courtesy on the front springs 10 years or 140K, but I did not qualify any longer - 80K on the car but a year too late. I said, “NHSTA says it’s a safety hazard, so I dont understand why you would not be interested in taking care of your customers and their families?” The rep. repeated the same speech and said the engineers often review these reports and could address this again in the future. So now, Im stuck with another suspension bill. This is why people leave the brand, a little help builds loyalty.

My mom bought a 2016 Explorer and the car was sold as new and no accidents.
My mom bought a 2016 Explorer and the car was sold as new and no accidents. Well she washed the car last month and paint chipped off the front fender a big chunk of paint. My mom has had no accidents and keeps the car in the carport. She calls Ford and tries to use the warranty but Ford doesnt call her back for 3 days. She had to call them for them to tell her the car had been in a wreck previous. So she calls another number for corporate and the woman starts out with an attitude and implies she wrecked the car and is trying to get over on FORD. My mom dont have to get over on Ford. She just wants what she paid for when buying a new car. She bought the car in Florida where I was living at the time at BARTOW FORD.The car was damaged during shipping and then was treated like she has to scam Ford to get her car fixed. My mom had the lady of the corporate office on speaker phone and the lady flat out told her it is her job to turn people down and not approve claims cause that cost Ford. Well I am the one that got my mom interested in Ford by me buying an Explorer and then I bought myself a 2015 Lariat and then my mom bought hers and was ripped off. Well my family has spent over a 100 thousand dollars and for the ignorance of that lady to tell us her job is to turn people down from their warranty. Well Im here to tell people not to buy a Ford so people like her cant have a job. If enough people quit buying their product then they have to thin the ignorant people of Ford.Needless to say my mom had to pay out of pocket to get her car fixed and they discovered that there was more damage done than what we was seeing and thanks to whoever covered this up it cost my family money and to be disrespected by a lady behind a desk that dont know ** about my mom and accuse her of trying to scam Ford. I did like your products. This was the first time we owned Ford. My family was always a Chevrolet family. Guess what? We will be getting rid of all of our Fords.

We purchased a Ford Edge for the specific reason of towing it behind our RV. The dealership assured us the transmission was built to enable us to tow it four wheels down. This part is true, but what they neglected to tell us is that the car does not charge the battery unless it is idling or being driven, leaving us with a completely dead battery after even an hour! After talking with the customer service at the Ford Corp... thats it. Pretty much too bad. The manual tells you to start the car after 4-5 hours of towing, which is difficult since it is dead after one hour. Ford could not even give any assistance in what could be done as far as spark plugs, trickle charger, etc. Too bad... a $27,000 mistake. I wish I had my CRV back; no problems whatsoever!

I like the sound system in the Mercury. Trunk is extremely roomy as well as the overall space and its a pleasure to drive when its not broke down. Love that the seats recline all the way back and the back seats fold in for added cargo space for the trunk. But Im not really pleased with this car like I would have hoped to be. It has been unreliable on several occasions and its giving me more headaches than pleasure breaking down on me. Also the console is way smaller than I expected and I wanted a deeper glove box. The drink holders arent adjustable for bigger cups which is very aggravating. I also wanted the car to come with 5 star rally wheels instead of standard spare tire. I wish that the overall length was a little bit bigger and the access to certain areas under the hood was better aligned for easier working space and the doors and windows access for the back seats are made ridiculous.

This is the second Ford Edge that we have owned and we really like the vehicle. It gets fairly good gas mileage for its size and is very comfortable and nice looking. We had both vehicles well past the warranty and found it to be very stable. No major repairs and only typical maintenance. We love the GPS and the two moon roofs. The area in the back will hold large items and is easy to push a button and lower the back seats to make even more room. The body style is very sharp and I love the heated seats. But the first Edge had a problem with the rear view window and I felt like I couldnt see as well as I should be able to. But the next one we bought had a little condensed mirror attached to the rear view mirror that enables me to see a wider area. We are very pleased.

I have a 2012 Ford F350 with 59,300 miles on it. The first transmission service is due at 60,000 miles so I took it to Spradley Barr Ford in Colorado. They advised me that all I needed to do was flush the system and NOT drop the pan to change the filter, that is not needed until the next service at 120,000 miles according to them. I said I wanted the filter changed for an additional $ 120.00 or so. Good thing I did because they found a bunch of metal in the pan. They are covering it under warranty, however they have had my WORK truck for TWO MONTHS and four days now due to a back ordered part. They have told me THREE times that it will be in soon, what a bunch of crap. Ford has rebuilt transmissions in crates available but they just said Too bad. So sad for you. You can wait. Ford is useless and has no customer service in mind. Previously I had a 2002 Ford F350 diesel for fourteen years (2002-2016), I guess Ford loyalty is in the trash. The dealer even said Ford is not supporting the dealerships, WOW what a statement. If I EVER get my truck back it will be sold ASAP and off to Chevy I go. Furthermore I called their customer service line (a misnomer at best) and what does Ford do? They send you a questionnaire that asks if the call taker was polite, helpful etc... Nothing about what is going on, nor did I receive a call or Email about it - poof its just gone. Ford has lost all concept of customer service. Good riddance Ford.

I believe someone may have tried to break in my 2015 Explorer. I never realized that my door handle was plastic. All it took was a screwdriver to break it. Fortunately they were scared away. Otherwise they could have pried the lock and got into my vehicle. This handle is used on 2011 - 2017 models, part number 78218A14. This piece of plastic cost $68.50 plus tax. It is poorly made. They wanted a fortune to install it so we are taking it to a body shop who will install it for $30. Be aware that they change prices on you from one day to the next. We were quoted $68.50 on Friday and then on Tuesday they wanted $75. Ford used to be my favorite car manufacturer, but is not anymore. This vehicle has a lousy paint job that Ford would not stand behind, issues with the battery, and seat belt problems.

In 2016, we purchased a Ford Focus (with the dreaded automatic dual clutch) with ~35,000 miles. We paid extra for a 100,000 mile extended warranty. Within the first few months of owning it, it started shuddering. We took it in and they suggested we use an aftermarket air filter (green filter). We did so, and the shuddering was reduced.Five years later, the car has 67,000 miles on it and it started shifting pretty hard and the shuddering was more pronounced. We took it in and I told them I suspected the TCM was bad (which was still under warranty). They told me I was wrong and it was the clutch (which of course, isnt under warranty). I said that didnt sound right because the clutch was rated for 100,000 miles... So either the TCM was bad, the TCM caused the transmission to shift improperly, which caused the clutch to wear out prematurely, or it was a defective clutch. We went back and forth and they ENSURED me that it was the clutch. $1,600 and a new clutch later, they call me back and tell me Actually, I guess it IS the TCM. When I asked about a refund for the clutch, they told me to pound sand. The car has now been in the shop waiting on a warranty repair for the TCM for over four months. We call weekly for an update and there is still no expected completion date. They said it could be as long as a year. We just want to get it repaired and sell the piece of crap so we dont ever have to deal with this headache again.

I just bought a 2016 Ford FX4 crew cab truck. I have been driving Ford vehicles all my life and thought I would never even consider another make. Well, that may change. This truck has been a big disappointment from day one. Following is my review... I switched from a 3.5 EcoBoost to a 2.7 EcoBoost in hopes that I would get better mileage. Not only is it worse than the 3.5, the economy readout on the dash is consistently 2.5-3.5 mpg less than the actual mileage. I have Checked every tank since I bought it. The Ford SYNC is a joke. The most user unfriendly system I have encountered. And I leave my iPod connected all the time and never touch it. The radio recognizes it about 50% of the time. I have changed power cords twice thinking there may be a short. But no change. If it was a short it would also affect it while playing. But when it plays it works perfectly. The driver side window does what it wants to sometimes. It may go down when you want it up. Or vice versa. The structural rigidity of this truck is nothing like my 2014. It jiggles and shakes like a 1981 Pontiac when on uneven pavement. The worst gas filler ever! Every time I lock the fuel nozzle on and wait for it to fill up, it clicks off the nozzle like its supposed to, but you better not be standing behind it! Almost every fill up dumps a quart of gas all over the ground. The driver door speaker is already buzzing and vibrating. The coating in the bed is useless. Its like a sheet of greasy ice. Everything slides all over the bed, so I have to lock it down. I have yet to figure out how the trailer back up assist works. For the amount of money this truck costs, Ford really screwed up on this one. I will be looking elsewhere soon. Id like to have my 2014 back.

I took back to the dealer Prestige in Mount Dora, FL where we bought the vehicle trusting that the Ford Service Staff could fix it. It took two weeks until the dealer called us up to say we could pick it up. We took back home and the next day the car was presenting the same problem. I am extremely disappointed with the quality, the service, the credibility of FORDs.The car has to go back to the shop this Monday and I have to time frame to get my vehicle up and running. I think Ford headquarters should step up, see what can be done about this extremely dissatisfied client. I bought a new vehicle because I didnt want to have car problems. Now I cant even trust that if this vehicle gets fixed that my car problems will be solved.

I leased a 2017 Fusion Energi in late December. About three weeks ago, I found the battery completely dead. After jumping the vehicle, I took it to the dealership (521 miles on the vehicle). After numerous discussions with the dealership, as well as Ford Customer support, I have been told that the part is back ordered with no delivery date identified. In the meantime, I have to continue making the payments, etc. while I wait for a resolution. Ford has offered no options related to this situation other than to wait for the part which, as I state, has no delivery date associated with it. The customer service follow-through post purchase is nothing short of terrible. If you are considering purchasing a Ford product, I encourage you to reconsider. I know this is the last Ford product I will ever purchase.

Called roadside back come to find out someone cancelled. Did not tow until Dec 23 2017. Since truck has been in shop date changes on parts coming in to fix. First date was Jan 12th 2018. Our 2014 Flex has been a great car so far! It gets decent gas mileage and has plenty of room. 2012 3.5 ltr Ecoboost. Shame on Ford. I purchased a used one owner 2012 with 90k miles on it. Got to use it for about 15k more miles and then it had the same problem so many others have. Timing chain issues. Quotes from 2500 to 3500 to repair. Very poor design for many year models. Ford should be ashamed for not taking care of such a major problem. I had to eat some major negative equity on a trade to be free of this problem. The days of holding your head high for being a Ford owner are long gone. Shame on you, Bill Ford.

Ford Billy Howell Cumming sold and serviced the Ford Fusion 2011, and said it was 100% when I bought it. But less than a month and half later the Power Steering Assist completely FAILED! I asked for them to apply the recall as shown on internet: 44,000 Fords (same model, same problem) have been recalled for this VERY SAME problem, but FORD claimed that based on the vin number we are DENIED the recall. They say for another $2,000 theyll fix it! Still, the same model, the SAME year, the SAME problem, has been recalled. But nobody at Ford can explain why we are NOT entitled to the same recall, nor how to submit a claim, and Ford NEVER called back no matter how many times we called and left messages. They promise to call back but never do. My car has now been standing at the shop for 6 months. It CANNOT be driven AT ALL without it being fixed! It should be replaced as per recall done to 44,000 other Ford cars!

My husband & I were Ford truck believers for many years until 2016! From our past experience, we expected our 2008 F450 diesel (with the 6.4L engine), would take us into retirement and beyond until the engine blew up this year, with just over 100,000 miles! $18455.66 later, and a lousy 2 year warranty on the new (same, defective engine), we found out that this engine is expected to fail around 100,000 miles making it the worst engine in the Ford truck line. (Our 1999 F350 is still on the road at 250,000+ miles!)I tried to contact Fords Customer Service (which is really their Customer Dis-service as the one answering the phone only has a first name and no boss to appeal to). My expectation was to get a reasonable 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty on the new engine instead of a crappy 2 year warranty (which is equivalent to a 30,000 mile warranty). The mechanics told us they could bulletproof the replacement engine, after the 2 year warranty expired, for about $8000! My question is, why isnt the replacement engine bulletproofed already? What was once a great company with integrity has been replaced by fraud and failure. I am embarrassed to be driving a Ford after my humble retirement account has been robbed of $20,000.

There are at least two Ford Freestyle owners here in the small town of Boone, NC who spent over $1,200 at the local Ford Dealership to fix leaks that come in over the driver, passenger and in the back. These leaks also get into the computer system causing all the lights to come on, accelerating problems, as well as the whole car shutting down. Once, it shut down on the interstate! This is very scary, especially with 3 small children whose safety is being compromised. Contacting Ford has gotten us nowhere. With $1,200 down the drain, and the Freestyle has the same problems, I will stick to buying Hondas in the future.

In June 2015 I ordered a brand-new Ford F-150 in a color that they charge extra for. OK fine. I took delivery of the vehicle, and a week later, while handwashing it, I noticed that it was a big glob of something on the roof, a giant swirl on the left front hood, and the tailgate is half shiny and half dull. iPhone the salesman, and he directed me to the dealers body shop. The body shop only addressed the roof, as they said the other two imperfections were not visible to their eyes. The customer is always right remember? Anyway, when I got the truck back I looked at it and it seemed fine. About an hour later a friend and I both climbed into the bed and looked at the roof because it had become very bright and sunny out. There were dozens of air bubble over the river. I called the body shop and brought it back in. It was at this time that a body shop manager told me the history of my new truck. He said that The paint sprayers at the Ford Dearborn truck plant had malfunctioned at the time my truck was being painted. He went on to say, that the truck was tag and set aside for repaint, but someone removed the tag and shipped it. Ford KNOWINGLY SHIPPED my truck with DEFECTIVE paint!!! I WAS LIVID!!! After my truck was given back to me, I drove away in tears. Again I waited for it to be very sunny, and I looked at it again. Only this time my roof which should be one sheet shiny paint, had buff marks which resembled sandpaper being used all over the roof. I was sick and furious!!! I went back a third time and was met by the body shop manager and another man. I spoke up again about my outrage at the plant knowingly shipped my truck with the fact of paint. The body shop manager said to me, I probably shouldnt of told you that, and the other man nodded his head in agreement. They stood on stool and looked at my roof. It had rained that morning, so there was dust on my roof. The unnamed man said he couldnt see a problem, so I gently with my finger and started wiping off some of the dirt. He said, it cant be that noticeable if you have to let your finger to see it. He left, and I stayed to speak to the body shop manager. I asked him who that rude man was so belittled me, and he said, The dealership owner. That man didnt even have the courtesy of introducing himself. Yes I purchased a $45,000 truck from him. Seriously? I offered to have my truck shipped back to the plant to have it factory-painted like I ordered and paid for. I am now stuck making payments for the next six years on a brand-new F-150 with a ** paint job. This is not what I ordered, and paid for. My truck was to have factory paint.

The Transit Connect wagon is a surprisingly well appointed mini van costing much less than the competitors. This vehicle has been a big hit in Europe for several years and is now breaking into the US market. It has great visibility, a very responsive engine, and plenty of room for 6 passengers. It drives and handles well. I especially like that the back seats fold down flat. We can safely haul our 4 dogs in 4 midsize hard shell dog crates (two side by side in the back, and two facing either sliding side doors) and still have room for gear and luggage. I’m very fond of the wireless cellphone cubby in the dash, no changing cables! It has separate climate controls and comfortable heated seats for the driver and front passenger.

Its seat is a couple inches higher than other cars, so it is easier for me to get in and out of with my old knees, and the A/C works great, which is a must in Texas! STAY AWAY FROM ALL FORDS AND BUT ESPECIALLY THIS DEALERSHIP. My daughter purchased a 2015 C-Max from a dealer in RVA. With less than 7K miles on that vehicle, something from the road (according to Wynne Service), popped up and caused a screen cover to fall off the vehicle (which tells me something about the quality of a Ford). With an opportunity to take care of a Ford Customer, and a 30K vehicle, Wynne Ford, its Service Dept, management and CEO decided NOT to take care of the customer. After receiving a call at 8 am from service mgr., my daughter was told that the part was covered under warranty. 4 hours later, the same guy called back and said that it would not be covered due to normal wear and tear. We were later told by a member of Sr Management that Service Mgr did not verify tech assessment, and that the tech was not qualified (RED FLAG)!! Sr Mgr continued to stand by not covered, however offered to sell part at employee discount and no labor ($148). I explained that the dealership should be making that right due to all of the customer service nightmare that my daughter had been through, so she said she would speak to the CEO of Dealership to see if he would cover it... He refused!!! And my daughter is a supposed VIP Customer...whatever that means for Ford!!! We also filed a complaint with FORD ConsumerAffairs, and again got nowhere. They could have cared less about taking care of their customers. SO FORD, you have lost 3 customers who are in their early 20s. No chance at ever regaining their business! Nice work! So, he could have kept 3 FORD customers for a mere $150, but instead, my daughter, and 2 other family members, will be trading in their 2015 FORD vehicles, purchased in August, for another Car and rest assured it will not be a FORD product!! Moral of the story is.... the expectation of Customer service is non-existent in this Dealership, or with FORD in general... Bottom line: Chick-Fil-A gives me Customer Service 100 times better when I order a $4 kids meal! Nice Job Wynne. Way to look out for your brand. NOT!!

On 12/1/2013, I started my car (2008 Ford Fusion) and it sounded & seemed normal. However, after driving less than 2 miles, my engine suddenly decelerated and the RPMs dropped dramatically. I tried to accelerate and it would not increase speed. I was able to get off the road safely. I had to have my car towed. The mechanic determined that the problem was due to a faulty power train control module which impacts the ignition coils and the estimated cost of repair is $2100! One of my ignition coils was melted. Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (which suggests replacing the power train control module & all 6 ignition coils) on this issue; however, they do not deem this a safety issue! Cars that just stop running or decelerate quickly is most definitely a safety issue. I can think of many scenarios where this issue could cause injury or perhaps even death. Had I been on a freeway or driving at a greater speed where there was more traffic, I could certainly have ended up in an accident with another vehicle. I researched this concern and found that I am not alone and there have many others affected by the same exact situation. Ford is of the opinion that this should be the responsibility of the car owner and they do not hold themselves accountable. I understand how warranties work and I realize that cars age. However, this issue has nothing to do with wear and tear or age. This is a faulty piece of equipment that is causing a safety issue when it hampers a vehicles ability to continue in a forward motion at a normal rate of speed. Ford Motor Company should issue a safety recall...not just a technical service bulletin.

Ford sold me new Ford Transit 2020 van and after only 6k miles and only few month of gentle use vans transmission broke. The van was making noise, no sensors went out so I kept driving and waiting for appointment to the shop for about 2 weeks. When at the shop I was told that all the fluid leaked out from transmission. I was driving this vehicle without transmission coolant for a period of few weeks so in my opinion the transmission is done and only a matter of time when it completely goes. People at the shop replaced the faulty part and send me on my way. When I called Ford customer care department to complain and ask to at least give me extended warranty so I feel more confident in the vehicle, and to know if transmission breaks again at least it would be covered under warranty. Ford customer care representative (Kaytlyn **) offered me a free oil change, can you believe this? A free oil change? Which made me even more upset about the whole situation and ford customer service.P.S They sold me a vehicle which was manufactured in January and I bought it in November, the van was passed from dealership to dealership with some miles on it until it found me and was sold to me as a new vehicle, salesperson failed to disclose this information until after the purchase. I purchased a 2015 Ford F-150 Truck this year which the airbag light appeared on the driver’s side of the vehicle. So I took the truck in to Bell Ford for warranty work on September 1, 2015 to fix this problem. The service department determined that they needed to replace the wiring harness inside the truck which involved stripping the entire interior of the vehicle. This meant everything had to come out down to the metal inside dash, seats, console, headliner, carpet, door panels; everything was torn out of my $63,000.00 brand new Ford F150 Platinum Truck!During this process I made calls to the assistant service manager, Mike **, to check on the progress and also to voice my concerns regarding the extent of this repair to my new truck. I was worried about the reassembly because of the drastic solution to this problem. I wanted to ensure that the service techs would efficiently put my truck back together so there were no rattles or other problems created because of this extensive repair. I related to Mike ** that my main concerns were that after the warranty was up that it might have some issues with rattles or malfunctions on anything in the future. Mike ** said if he owned this truck he would be concerned too however he assured me that he had his lead tech working on my truck. Also he stated that his guy was the only one working on my truck because only one guy should tear it apart and put it back together for continuity. On September 17, 2015, I stopped by in person to check on the progress of this repair and discovered that the lead tech was not the one doing the repair it was a young lady that was inside my truck reinstalling all of the parts that were scattered around my truck. I asked Mike ** if this young lady was his lead tech and he replied no however his lead tech was overseeing her work which to me is not what I had originally been told. There was no lead tech or any other tech involved at this time and the young lady inside whose name is Whitney verified that she is the only one that had been working on my truck.I received a call on September 18, 2015 informing me that the truck was ready to be picked up. I discovered after inspecting what I could see that there were many problems with the truck. There were visibly cracked and broken parts reinstalled instead of replaced. I ended up with a punch list of 13 items that were evident to the naked eye therefore who knows what is wrong with what cannot be seen. I took the truck back to the service department that day however they told me to keep it until they received the new parts they had to order that had been ruined during the reassembly process.I delivered the truck back to Bell Ford on September 30, 2015 and during the time between the 18th and the 30th of September I had more issues that surfaced in the dash area that could not have been originally detected until driving the truck for a while. Therefore I determined that this was going to be an ongoing problem and that I was not going to keep this vehicle. So I traded it in because of the distrust and the lying and would never feel confident with this truck in the future.I had a meeting with Lee **, General Manager, and Mike **, Service Manager on October 9, 2015 in which I requested reimbursement for the amount of money I was out for the accessories for the new truck which were items that I had purchased for the F150 truck originally. I gave Lee an itemized list which amounted to $2,063.86. Lee explained that he was leaving for Hawaii the next day (October 10, 2015) and could I give him a couple of weeks to work on a resolution. Lee and Mike apologized for their assistant service manager, Mike ** lying to me about the service repair and that they did not do right by me and were sorry for everything. After Lees return from Hawaii I met with Lee and Mike ** on October 22, 2015 where Lee apologized again profusely for the mistakes and lying regarding this repair. There was some discussion again about the issues and Lee said he was not going to give me $2,063.86 to go away. I got up to leave and said, Okay then I am done and then Lee said, Arent you going to negotiate? And I said, Okay I want $1,999.99, and Lee replied, I will give you $1,000. I said, No I am done and left. In summary Bell Ford admitted to bad service and their employee lying however they are not willing to make it right to my satisfaction. If all the repairs would have been done correctly I would have kept the truck and not been out any money.

I received the vehicle back only to find out the issue was not resolved. I then returned with the vehicle to be repaired. They performed another overhaul on the transmission. The vehicle is still not fixed and this time it’s been almost 2 months. My ** case manager is Michelle **. Regional Customer Service Person. She told me the vehicle will not qualify for a buyback because I’m a secondary owner. I have to stay on top of this person consistently to find out the updates on the vehicle. This is a common issue with the Ford Edge vehicles. She can’t give me a time frame of when the vehicle will be returned or the status on the current issue. Fords CRC asked for clarification as to what the problem was and what we were asking for. I responded three times and never heard back. Sent two letters to William Ford, Jr., Mark Fields, and Frederiek Toney (President, Global Ford Customer Service Division). Guess what? NOT ONE PERSON RESPONDED.....again! Was really ticked off now so on January 12, 2015 I called the number that was in small print underneath the responder from CRCFMC. Another exercise in futility. Spoke with a Debra who advised us: Ford could not and would not extend the service contract. Because Ford had sent monetary compensation for the mpg disparity there was nothing else Ford was going to do. We had waited too long to request an extension (please remember we started this process four months before speaking with Debra). When I asked Debra why there was never any follow-up to my three replies to the CRC emailer, Debra said the 1 800 number is in Florida and the CRC emailer was probably in Michigan. Debra said that essentially there is no coordination between emailing Fords CRC and calling the 1800 number listed in the CRCs email. Isnt that a heck of a way to run a business? So we are done defending Ford when our friends ask us how our FixOrRepairDaily is. We are done buying any Ford, new or used. If we were to win a free car and it turned out to be a Ford we would donate it. In closing, we could have accepted a sorry, it isnt happening to our request of Ford, case over. But the non-response from anyone at Ford shows they could care less..... and now, we dont either.

Ford Customer Service treats its customers like 2nd class citizens. They tell you one thing then do another. The settlement offer payment I sent in on 09/19/12 took almost 2 weeks to post. Now I was told that they are selling my vehicle at a private sale if I do not send in the balance plus repossession fee which I have already done. It was delivered at 8:57am on 10/09/12 and as of now it has not been posted to my account. I have sent the money both times and Ford has faltered on their end by not posting the payments in a timely manner. They have moved the vehicle from 100 miles to 200 miles away. Now I have to get someone to go with so that I can get my vehicle if Ford decided to post the payment. Do not worry that there will most likely be another post if I ended up losing my vehicle because of the way Ford does business. I would never recommend Ford or Ford Credit to even my worst enemy, much less a friend.

My 2015 Ford Mustang is still under factory warranty. The paint on the hood start bubbling. The car will be on the body shop for 3 days so I called Ford because in my opinion they have to give a rental car and pay for that. Mr. Mario ** (Regional Customer Service Manager) called me today to let me know that they wont pay for the rental. My car is under warranty, is not my fault the paint failed!!! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT!!! I will have to be without a vehicle for 3 days. That situation will affect my job and personal responsibilities. I currently own 2 Ford vehicles, but I feel that means nothing to them. I let him know how I feel it but he didnt care about that. Maybe is time to change the brand. Bye Ford.

I get the notice when my truck is out of the warranty, so guess what, Ford will not cover the cost, but to add to this injury they dont have parts available for this recall. My truck has been sitting in a Ford Service Dept for 2 months waiting on these phasers, with no eta. on parts, and no assistance. I received a safety recall notice 11S25/NHTSA Recall 12V-006 indicating problems with the splines in the torque converter and instructions to contact dealer for repair if vehicle loses forward and reverse power before Ford has parts to fix the problem. The letter stated that parts are not currently available and are anticipated to be available in the 2nd Quarter of 2012 and replacement of the torque converter will be free of charge (parts and labor). On 5/4/12, I lost acceleration on my 2005 Freestar (VIN **) and I towed it 30 miles back home. After contacting service manager, **, at Valley Ford Lincoln dealership, I towed my van there for repairs on 5/7/12. The service manager called after inspection to tell me that my transmission break down had nothing to do with the recall part. He quoted me $1,500 to break it down to determine the needed repair and further cost to repair it. I then had it towed to Century Transmission (421 E St, Lemoore, CA 93245; 559-925-8853) where it was repaired for the cost of $2,091. The owner, Raul, informed me that the torque converter had worn splines and was indeed the needed repair. The receipt and part were taken back to service manager, who consulted his technician, **. Upon inspecting the part, technician stated that the part was shot and that the repair cost was not bad and that they would have charged at least that much. The service manager said he would use my receipt to see if I could get some if any of my money back. When the owner, Jack Keller, was contacted, he indicated that I would not get reimbursed for the repair because I should have had it towed back to Ford for repair even though I was told it was not the covered part. In addition to not trusting Ford to be honest at that point, it would have been my 4th tow and I would still have owed Century for labor. I have the original receipt and the removed torque converter in my possession for needed inspection and proof that the splines are worn and the torque converter is bad. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of repair to my transmission ($2,091).

Just had my Ford F150 go up in flames while parked in the driveway. Truck was last used Saturday Morning 2/7/2015 and went up in flames 2/9/2015 at approx 4 am. Woke up to a horn going off, went into my daughters room and looked out front of our house and saw flames 15 ft high. Told my wife to get the kids downstairs and evacuated them to the backyard. Called 911 and ran out front to move my other car out of the driveway. Thank god my neighbors came out and helped me put the fire out or things would of been much worse. Fire started in the Engine compartment and burned most of the hood off before we could put the fire out. Ford should take responsibility...This is a very serious problem and needs to be addressed immediately!!!

How could they NOT possible return all of these vehicles, smash them and grind them like they did to Christine at the end!? These are death trap cars and are unsafe... Shame on Ford. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Now, I am stuck in this car, hoping and praying that nothing bad happens. All they do is lie after lie and say its normal just so they dont have to fix it under the lemon law. Fiesta ST - I felt intermittent squeaking and occasional friction in mine and deeply regret not taking it to the dealer the moment I noticed it. Obviously something was defective from the start and now Im bumming rides from friends to work and borrowing my exs car to get my kids to and from their summer camps. To make matters worse, the cars been dead in the none-too-helpful dealers repair shop for three weeks. Pretty frightening episode, too, since the car stopped dead on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago with heavy 60 MPH traffic and no shoulder.Called 911 who dispatched a tow truck but it was a tense fifteen minutes of desperately waving unsuspecting drivers around my dead Ford. Its a nice car: good performance and practical, but if the manufacturer doesnt back what they sell better to buy from a more reliable brand like Honda, Toyota, Mazda, or Subaru who have all served me well in the past. Ill avoid Ford in the future in favor of automakers that provide real warranties and better reliability.

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE A FORD!!! They do not back their product even when they have a known issue. Most $$$ car I have ever bought, 30K, only 2013, 50,000 miles now and sunroof wont even close. Car in service center before for running slow and same issue. Now needs a complete frame replacement?!?!?? Of course not in warranty or even the extended warranty I PURCHASED. Want me to pay $2600 to replace frame. I have not bent the frame or had a wreck! Garage kept car. Its obviously defective Ford part. I guess I will use an umbrella to keep the weather from my 3-week old. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FORD OR AMERICAN MADE POS! Had 1 Toyota, 2 Nissans and 2 Hyundais and had NO problems. Paid much less, much older and got 200,000 plus miles on them. Only get the run around when you call customer care. Service manager gives you the number but customer care says manager has final say. Manager goes out of town before discussing decision with you. When you make original call, everything is always we cant look at it for at least one week, til you ask to talk to manager then it changes like magic. Sure I will drive around with sunroof open for a week until you can even look at it.

i bought a brand new right off the factory 2011 Ford Fiesta. All of the issues started after the first year at about 9000-10000 miles. I am just over 20000 miles. First the car would have problem accelerating. Took it to the shop. They just reprogrammed the transmission. That took care of it for a few months. Next during my oil change I found out that a part with the transmission was leaking so they replaced that. About 2 weeks ago my car was making odd noises and didnt know which gear to use especially at lower speeds, jerked severely when speeding up after a complete stop and wheels would just rotate before actually catching traction (tires are new) so they replaced the clutch. Today my car is there again because it is making a horrible metallic scratching noises when braking, turning or accelerating. They are saying my brake pads worn out (at 20000 miles) and it affected my rotor. So far I am still under factory warranty. If I was not all those repairs would probably cost me as much as the car itself. I dont want to wait till my warranty runs out and have to start dishing out money to repair a car that is still considered relatively new. I want them to replace my car or give me my money back. I am not taking that car back from the Ford service center.

Recently I realized that my air conditioner was not working. Took it to my local Ford dealer to determine problem and get fixed. The A/C Evaporator Core Discharge Temp Sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. The good news was that this part only cost $32. The bad news was that it was behind the dash which would require removal of the dash to install a new part. My cost was $1255. I contacted Ford and told them that this was poor engineering and the part could have been located in a more accessible spot. The customer service person acted very concerned and told me they would send an expedited email to the Ford dealer service manager because they would be able to help me. When I talked to the service manager she had no idea what she was to do for me other than charge me the estimated repair cost. Ive contacted Ford 2 more times about this matter and all they have done is turned their back on my situation. How does Ford think that they have no responsibility for poor engineered design? My Ford case number is **, but is apparently just a number and means nothing to Ford.

I had to take my 2006 Lincoln Mark LT with the 5.4 Triton motor into my local Ford Dealership to have the spark plugs replaced. I was told then that this engine had issues with these spark plugs getting stuck and breaking into two parts requiring extra time and effort to do this service procedure. The cost of a plug change was high to me at $300.00 and if a plug should break it would be $95.00 for each one extra. Ive read that Ford knew of this issue and still sold this engine without change after they became aware of it back in 2004. The total cost of the repair cost me over $1300.00 for what should have been a regular simple spark plug change (had Ford used a one piece plug or redesign socket) I am willing to pay a decent fee for a spark plug replacement but I do not feel that I should have to pay for plugs that break and take extra time to extract because of faulty parts and design. I am at a loss to find any help regarding this issue.

Defective Sunroof issue in 2015-2017 models - Warranty expired & about 2 month after that I left my vehicle out & it rained heavily. I found water dripping near the framework on the passenger side, between the windshield & door. The floor mat was full of water. I dumped it out - tried to dry out the carpet. It was so saturated I couldnt get it all out. Then when driving it I actually heard swooshing sounds when I came to stops. Meanwhile I thought it was some fluke or the bad rainstorm. Then when we washed @ the Morries Ford car wash, we noticed it again. So we looked online & sure enough there were many others who reported the same or similar issues. Meanwhile mold had developed & Morries said I did have the defective part/sunroof. Filed a claim & the best Ford will do is only cover Half the cost to replace their defective sunroof. I am going to file a complaint with our Atty. General. I paid once for this feature when I bought it brand new. I should not have to pay for it again due to it being a defective sunroof. Morries tried cover up this issue also when I first reported it to them. Lying to me saying someone vandalized my vehicle by removing all the weather stripping on the roof. Theres not any on the roof on any of the Ford trucks where this service advisor tried to point out. Very disgusted.

Purchased a Ford Transit 2020 from this place. I submitted my review for Ford.com but they did not publish it because it was a one star. Two main reasons for one star: They sold me a car without passenger seat. I thought I can install a seat. When I went to pick up the car, they told me it doesn’t have any passenger airbags. Factory removed them! If they have told me I would never buy this car. It is not safe to operate. It took them one 8 days to finish the paper work for my car, and they only did it because I keep following up with them.I purchase that car remotely, by phone. We agreed on a price that was 300$ less than MSRP. They called me after a while saying that somebody else is willing to buy the car for the whole MSRP price and I need to pay the full price if I want it. Who changes his word for 300$, one a 50+K$ car? They removed a 1$ Funnel in the car to fill it from a canister. In my way home, I ran out of gas. I went to a gas station and filled a canister and came back then I couldn’t find the funnel to fill the tank and had to wait a long time for road side assistant. The passenger door on my brand new 2020 car rattled sometime and you have to open and close it several times to fix this. Need to the new car to the dealership. The MPG is way lower than what advertised.

I have been a Ford truck for for many years. 7.3s 460s, etc. I have been told to stay away from 6.0 Fords. Since my background includes being a Master Auto and Truck Technician. I have been working mainly on customers vehicles. My personal experience started when I was in the market for a parts truck with a 6.0. I bought a theft recovery low miles 2006 F350 Lariat that was ransacked, stripped and ditched off road. I bought it for $2500. After feeling sorry for that poor thing, Ive decided to rebuild it with parts that was just sitting in my possession. After extensive repairing of chopped wiring harnesses, replacing of missing parts and having it recertified and then upgrading with EGR delete, programmer, cooling system low temp modifications, upgraded turbo and servicing with premium fluids. Adding 1 quart of ATF at every fillup. Fast forward 30k miles and 3 yrs of use. This is the best Ford I owned. It even runs better than my 05 Ram 3500 Cummins (48re transmission is nowhere close to the Fords 5r110).

I own two Ford vehicles, a F350 Ford diesel King ranch 2016 and a 2018 Ford explorer Platinum two of Fords top of the line vehicles. The Ford explorer third row electric seat began having issues within the warranty period at 21k miles and within 1 month of the vehicle warranty expiration. Just a couple of weeks after the expiration of the 36th month warranty but well within the 36k mile warranty (25k miles on The vehicle) third row seat would no longer operate (only having been used a few times). One of the main reasons we purchased the vehicle was for the third row seat for our grandchildren. After several trips to two different dealerships it was determined that the wire harness would need to be replaced and in order to do that apparently much of the vehicle needs to be disassembled. A very significant effort and expense to repair. I felt surely Ford would stand behind me and rectified what was clearly a defective mechanism. After several months of back and forth and Ford stringing me along ultimately they would not provide ANY assistance. Worse multiple requests for them to provide that decision in writing were simply ignored. I have never been so appalled at a major corporations lack of professionalism in handling a customer service issue. My experience with them has left me realizing that FORD is a two-bit company not interested in customer service or standing behind their product. FORD NEVER AGAIN.

I bought my Ford Freestyle in 2005 brand new. After the first scheduled oil change the gas control panel never registered to the f for full again. I took it in immediately and they tried to fix it 4 times and gave every excuse even said I was going to the wrong gas station and something must be wrong with the pumps. They were aware of this problem through a bulletin and never told me until 18 months and 4 times in the shop to fix when they said the gas tank needed to be replaced. It has never filled to the F even with a new gas tank. They were also aware of the problems with the CVT transmission for the 2005 and never made me aware of it. 2014 I started having the engine light going on and out periodically and took it in to be diagnosed and over the last year I got a list of so-called causes from: needed to be re-calibrated, re-programmed, EGR replacement, PCV valve clogged, and finally after 3 weeks in the dealership service department I was told I needed a new transmission for $8,224.00 on this car with only 73,000 miles on it. I have taken excellent care of this car and now I have to junk it because I cant trust Ford to replace a screw much less a new transmission. Im so angry that I just find out that they knowingly sold me a lemon and kept me in the dark through all kinds of repairs in order not to have to buy back this car. The readout giving average economy between resets/tanks is 10% off all the time. It seems to be very accurate, just always off by that amount. Online forums show this applies to multiple engines/tanks sizes. The actual economy is not the issue, its what I would expect.

I purchased a used 2015 Ford Fusion. I understand that there are a few things I would need/want to do with the car to use the features available. The car came with one key, which has been set to the ‘MyKey’ feature. I asked to have it reset at dealership as it is the only key and I am limited on what I can do - I am locked out of some radio channels and while I might be locked down to a ‘Max Speed’, I haven’t hit it yet. Their answer - The only way YOU can do that is to buy another key - $300. (Great customer service to make me work instead of offering alternate solutions to assist me). The car does not have the owners manual, therefore I don’t have the code for the keyless entry. Their answer - Sure, $60. Never mind, thanks for trying to make me give you more money to be able to get into the car you made. There are other things I would like to do with the car, but I stopped asking afraid it would just cost too much. Very disappointing.

2015 Fusion Energi Titanium - During the entire sales process, I had sales staff and service staff would lie to make sure the sale went through. After I bought the vehicle, I found damage on several parts of the vehicle and they stated they would take care of it. I came back to have the vehicle fixed before they put on a sealant coat on exterior and interior that I paid extra for at time of sale. I came back after the service person James called me and told me it was perfect with all damage gone. I show up to find out the vehicle damage was not taken care of and I ask ** to come look at the vehicle damage personally. He admits he never looked at the damage before or after it was fixed. I schedule the vehicle to have the drivers side painted to solve a gouge that went to the sheet metal. The vehicle is brought in and all problems are solved. I needed to call the auto shop to have status updates on my vehicle. ** would give answers with no basis in fact and every communication he would change the times/days when the vehicle would be ready. The vehicle will be going back in four weeks to have the sealant replied post vehicle paint curing. I have had nothing but problems with the Future Ford Roseville dealership. The problem is I am 500 miles away from the dealership and I cannot show up in person. Every time I try to contact people, I have the I will call you back or have that person call you and I have waited more than four business days on multiple occasions for a response. I traded in a vehicle and they took and additional four days to get in touch with VW Credit to find out the pay off amount. I have waited now seven days for financing to talk with me at the dealership. I have left voicemails daily on work phones and personal cell phones with still no response. I need help!!!!They offered me $100 to call the damage fine with a gouge going through all layers of paint. They even told me they would take care of me if I put in perfect scores on the surveys. I am offended at the $100 to go away and asking me to falsify records to make the dealership look good in Fords eyes. Then having the gall to say they will take care of me if I lie as they have constantly lied to me. I need someone from Ford Corporate to investigate my allegations to find the truth of the matter. They are willing to refuse to contact me when I need help and are more than willing to constantly, lie to me. I even asked to return the car in the first 200 miles/48 hours and I would wait for another car to come in that was not damaged. I just want a new car and want to enjoy my new car. I have owned the car for two weeks and it was in my possession for only four days so far.

My daughter came to pick me up from work and noticed that our 1999 F150 truck was not sounding okay. After I got in and begin to drive, smoke begin to come up from the dashboard. Within minutes, the truck was consumed by fire and smoke that we barely got out of the truck in time. The truck was a total loss. It was very traumatic for me and my daughter. It resulted to a total loss on a vechicle that was paid off. I could not afford another truck or 4X4 vehicle, so I now have a car with payments. And I just got a notice in the mail for the recall--for possible tank fractures and fire. Great timing. I think that Ford is a big rip off.

I love my Ford Flex! My favorite feature is probably the built in jukebox where I can load songs from my CDs into the car and create my own permanent playlist. I also really appreciate the space in the car. We typically have two or three kids (including 2 booster seats) in the 2nd row and keep the 3rd row down for storage. The only negative about this car appears to be that it hates aftermarket parts. My husband maintains the vehicles and hes had horrible luck with parts from our local parts stores. As long as he uses factory parts (which cost a little more), the car doesnt reject the repairs. I will also say, that my car is a 2011 and it takes a while for the heated seats to warm up. Once theyre warm, its all good. Gas mileage is just ok, but its not horrible for such a big wagon in my opinion.

Recently my car was smelling like gas, so we pulled it out of the garage for a day not sure if that was actually the problem. Again after leaving it in the garage over night the smell was very strong of gasoline. We took it to a shop right up the street thinking that maybe it was a gas filter issue but once they lifted the car up it was clear that there was a gas leak at seam or the half full level as described by the automotive technician. We were referred to the Ford dealer. We called the dealer who informed us that there was a recall on the gas tank for this vehicle and to bring the car in. I paid over 80 dollars to have the car towed to Avis Ford in Southfield, Mi. from Belleville, Mi. Only to be told that there was a mistake and that the 2009 Edge was not included in the recall. After doing further research I have found that many Ford models from 2007-2014 have had gas tank leak issues. Manufacturer related not customer related damage to the tank. It frightens me to think that something as important as the gas tank should EVER leak because of manufacturer NEGLIGENCE and then when addressed with the dealer, the same dealer that my family has purchased 6 cars from that I would be told it wasnt covered. So when does the recall actually go into effect on a car/part? Does it take us dying or being seriously injured to create a recall on something as serious as a gas tank? I travel with an infant in my backseat 5 days per week and cannot imagine a gas related fire in my car with a baby in a 5 point restraint car seat and being able to get them out safely in an event such as that. I have always purchased my vehicles based on safety ratings first, but I guess the Ford built Edge is a hoax for customers like me.Prior to todays car problems, I had my car into Avis Ford several times for transmissions problems. Gear slippage within the first year of ownership and continuously over the years. They could never find anything wrong with it. The problem got so bad that I took the car to Precision Tune on 8 mile where the Master Mechanic said my transmission was bad, the fluid inside was black and take it to the dealer and I would need a new transmission. I went to the dealer and my car was still under warranty. I showed them the Info from the shop I had just came from. They kept the car a few days, said it was just a leak. They repaired the so called leak and said I did not need a new transmission.Few months pass and I return to the dealer with the same issues and I am no longer under the warranty. Im then given an estimate of $4600.00 worth of transmission related work. I feel like Ive been sold a $ 40,000.00 LEMON and only have 60,000 miles on it. Sadly I will never buy another vehicle from Avis Ford nor suggest anyone I know to either. I have decided to notify the BBB, the NTSB and whatever agencies govern these issues.

Im writing to express our extremely disappointing experience with Ford. My husband bought a 2010 F150 and back in May of this year 2015, he went to Ford about the extensive rust damage on the vehicle. He has owned nothing but Ford products through the years and he has never experienced such a problem. To make a long story short, he went back and forth with Ford regarding the extensive damage. His truck has been in the shop for five weeks waiting on Ford to at least agree to take some sort of responsibility and they will not do anything. We are so disappointed. We will never buy another Ford product.

Soon after purchasing a 2010 Ford Fusion... I noticed the interior had broken seat parts and each time I attempted to put it on it wouldnt fit. The tires needed rotating... There was no bulb light when backing out. The sales person said he would order the bulb... never got one. The ignition sometimes keeps going when I turn the key... The gas hand sometimes doesnt move. My minimum down payment was $600, salesman asked for $1000 and for me to not tell anyone. My payments I was told $300 monthly. I pay $389, I cannot afford to make repairs... and car payments. Went to several dealerships about trade options... and all three said I got screwed. Car might bring $5,000-$6,000. I owe over $15,000. I appreciate the Lender giving me an opportunity to re-establish my credit. And I have also hired Lexington Law Firm for assistance. I only ask that I be given a trade option. This has been and is very stressful.

Bought a brand new 2016 250 Ford Transit 250 van at 12000 miles. Had a howling noise when backing up. Told me my bearings in the rear end were shot. Rebuilt the rear end to no avail. Now at 35000 miles my back brakes are completely wore out. Had big old tires. Tell me its as if Ive been driving with my e brake on. Took it to ford. They cover their ass and tell me its wear and tear and that theyre finding out with these vehicles the back brakes are wearing out quick. Oh did I mention my front brakes are like brand new. Bottom line this vehicle is a PIECE OF **.

2011 Crown Victoria - At 40K miles the vent control module stopped working. At the same time the cigarette lighter and 12 volt accessory plug started experiencing intermittent power failures. I had the dealer check out both problems and they said it would cost $1000 to replace the vent control module (plenum) and air box. They could not find any electrical problems with the cigarette lighter and accessory plug.I had my mechanic replace the plenum and air box for $850. Parts were $350 and the Ford dealer had 20 plenums and air boxes in stock. Seems Ford knows there is a problem with these units and they keep plenty in stock. Its a quick money maker for them it seems. Electrical problem - I tested the cigarette lighter and found that there was a problem with the ground wire. I removed the drink tray to get to the wiring and discovered that ground wires had been connected using a flat wire connector. Over time the wires were so flattened by the connector that they had broken off. I removed the flat connector and re-connected the wires using a standard round crimp connector. Problem solved. The Crown Victorias have been produced by Ford for over 10 years and you would assume that most problems would have been resolved during that time. Unfortunately, it seems that Ford keeps using cheap parts in their vehicles and the owners of these vehicles will constantly be on the hook for repairs. No wonder ford sales continue to decline.

Called Roadside Assistance on Christmas Day due to a flat (which of course is a big problem since you no longer have a spare and the inflation kit is worthless if you have any sidewall damage). Here is what transpired. I called and they confirmed a tow in about an hour. After an hour they called back to inform me that they cannot tow me to a dealership that is closed. On December 25th there are no dealerships open in the country!!! I asked if they could tow me home as courtesy especially since it was Christmas Day. They said, No it is out of policy. FYI the Owners Manual states that roadside assistance is available 24/7. PERIOD! No other rules or exceptions.Bottom line they towed me 3 1/2 hours later to a tow lot in literally the worst part of the city from where I had to make home. Forget the fact that I spent 4 hours of Christmas stranded because of Fords unstated policies, missed most of Christmas with my family and my newborn first grandchild. All Ford showed is that their custom care is a fiction (and possibly a violation of several consumer laws as they do not disclose this to their consumers). Bottom line if you need roadside assistance good luck if you need a tow outside of Dealer Hours. They simply dont care about their customers.
