Kia Corporation, commonly known as Kia is a South Korean multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It is South Korea's second largest automobile manufacturer after Hyundai Motor Company, with sales of over 2.8 million vehicles in 2019.

The 2009 Kia Amanti, also known as the Kia Opirus in some markets, is a full-size sedan that offers a comfortable ride and a range of features. Here are some key features and information about the 2009 Kia Amanti:

Design: The 2009 Amanti features a conservative exterior design with a clean and understated appearance. It has a traditional sedan shape with smooth lines and a prominent front grille.

Engine: The Amanti is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces around 264 horsepower. This engine provides ample power for daily driving and delivers smooth acceleration.

Interior Features: The Amanti offers a spacious and comfortable interior with seating for up to five passengers. It features a well-appointed cabin with a blend of soft-touch materials and wood trim accents. Depending on the trim level, features may include leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a premium audio system, and available navigation system.

Ride Comfort: The Amanti prioritizes ride comfort, offering a smooth and quiet driving experience. It features a suspension setup that absorbs bumps and road imperfections effectively.

Safety Features: Standard safety features on the 2009 Amanti include antilock brakes, stability control, traction control, front-seat side airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags.

Trim Levels: The 2009 Amanti is typically available in a single trim level, although the available features may vary depending on the region and specific options.

It's important to note that the availability of specific features and options may vary depending on the region and the individual vehicle's configuration. If you're considering purchasing a 2009 Kia Amanti, I recommend checking the vehicle's specifications and options with a Kia dealership or using online resources that provide detailed information about the particular vehicle you are interested in.

Product Reviews:

The doors have been stuck open several times, which really sort of puts a damper on long trips. It is a severe safety issue. I have manual doors, and we have it towed when this happens. But they insist there was no latch issue, even though we've had multiple failings. (Our neighbor with power doors has had them open sporadically while traveling 70 mph with kids in the back!)Further, I have to change the headlights (both, and both high/low beams) quarterly, because the alternator doesn't regulate the voltage well and you can actually see the lights getting brighter/dimmer. They blow out fast, and I have been stopped by police no less than six times (three with "fix-it tickets" where I have to take it back in the next day and show them it's been fixed).I also had to pay for new power steering hoses because of squeaking. Fairly costly. The latest is my breaks slip regularly, and ABS is not covered under not a warranty repair. Why brag up ABS if the brakes don't work at all? ?

I brought my car in for 15,000 miles maintenance. Alignment way off; told me they couldn't fix it 100%. I asked why and they said something must be bent. I asked them what? They replied they didn't know. Told me I had recall for front right axle. They had to order the part and would recheck wear on tires to see if their incomplete alignment caused any issues. So about a month later I brought it back in and they said wear was fine, replaced right front axle and I had hope that was the reason the alignment couldn't be fixed 100%. They knew I was going on over 2,000 mile trip for son's wedding. I have no shimmy, although alignment isn't 100%, it still seems to be okay. About 100-150 miles from destination, have EMTs pull up on right side of my car and roll down their window. We roll down ours and they point to my passenger rear tire and then angle their arm. We pull off immediately and sure as heck my passenger rear tire is bent inward at top, around 11 o'clock. I drive 50 mph rest of way, check alignment and I'm not pulling any worse than before. I call Kia Roadside assistance and they come tow my car to local dealership. They didn't look at my car immediately, but had only had it 2 hours and call me and let me know that my front passenger strut is bent (Why didn't the dealership notice this when they replaced the axle on that side, or when they couldn't correct the alignment 100%). If it took this dealership less than 2 hours to find the bent right strut, why didn't they find it? Why didn't they look. Supposedly going to cost me $680 plus tax to fix (Not under warranty... WHY??). I hit nothing, I ran over nothing. Is this possibly a recall issue, or should be a recall issue and due to strut being bent, it bent my back right tire inward. Supposedly once strut is replaced and car is realigned, my passenger rear tire will straighten out. I'm not stupid. Maybe because I'm female they think I am, but I've worked on cars for over 25 years. I'm betting that my rear passenger tie rod is bent. I even mentioned it at the dealership, in the service department, but they are adamant that it'll be fixed once the strut is replaced and the car is realigned. They have already said that they could tell I didn't run over or hit anything, so why am I paying out of pocket anyway? Isn't it supposed to be under warranty? If the tie rod is bent, isn't that the fault of the dealership that did my original alignment and told me that they thought something might be bent, but didn't look for it? Then again when they replaced the passenger front axle (recall) and didn't notice it and still couldn't get it aligned? Shouldn't they pay for this? I'm frustrated and angry, first for them treating me like I'm stupid because I'm a girl and "girls" don't know anything about cars... BS, and then when I'm suggesting it'll be more than just the strut, telling me that I'm not qualified (another way to say that I'm a girl and girls don't know anything about cars) to think that..... And they are the experts, yet they didn't even look for what they thought was bent. I mean they literally said we think something is bent and then didn't look for it. What's wrong with that picture? Annoyed, from California and Stuck in Illinois until my car is fixed!!!

I traded in 2012 Kia Soul for a 2015 Kia Soul Plus. I got the car in June and I have been listening to the 3 month free promotion of Sirius Radio. I did not even notice that my new Kia has no CD player, until the other day when I went to put in a CD. I was completely shocked. My 2012 Kia did have it and I thought that the CD player was standard. I was not told when I leased this new 2015 Kia that there was no CD player. I feel that the salesman should have pointed that out to me. I am extremely disappointed and now I am looking through stores to see if I can buy a portable one to put in my car. I understand that changes are sometimes made, but a change like this should have been brought to my attention when I leased this car. This is a feature, for me, that is very important.

I was driving my car and the engine failed. It ignited on fire and was "Total-ed." The fire department and police came and put the fire out. I filed a claim on the day of the accident (August 18) with my insurance company that I have progressive insurance with. They have consistently lied to me and will not give me answers. All I am told is that they are still investigating and keep telling me that they will find something out. It just never happens.Because of this, I don't have a car to use since the incident and this has caused me real stress. My car is under warranty so I need someone to help me out.

I loved my vehicle when I bought her, she was pre-owned but very well looked after, one of the reasons why I bought her. A couple of months after buying the vehicle, one of my tenants, who I did not know worked for a Kia dealership, came over to me and asked if she could give me a piece of good advice. "Sure," I said, always open to good advice. Little did I know that the advice she gave me would turn out to be the best advice I never took. She told me to sell the Kia Sorento because it was going to give me endless trouble. Since she told me I have replaced a gear box oil seal, cylinder head gasket, radiator water bottle (took Kia month and a half to get me a replacement water bottle), 2 radiator water hoses, radiator, crankshaft pulley bolt, and most recently a thermostat, where again Kia took 6 weeks to find me a spare. Like I said, I love the vehicle, but I will never buy another Kia as long as I live.

2008 Sorento - Kia is just trying to wait me out on the warranty! I had it in four times on two different dealers. They replaced the hub but not the compressor and that's what is bad. I'm within 6,000 of the end of the warranty. I have no doubt after reading all the other complaints about this year and the A/C problem that once I'm over the 60,000, then they will say it needs to be replaced. I will never buy another Kia. A warranty is only as good as what they will back up and how well they honor it!

I have a 2012 Kia Soul with 14,100 miles on it. Every few months the battery loses a charge and has to be jumpstarted. I had it towed into the Kia dealership and they tell me (for the 12th time now) that I don't drive the car enough! We are on our 3rd battery, which required me to fight like crazy to get Kia to pay for, and it's since again in the shop for another battery replacement! Today I was told I need to drive the car 2 hours a day to keep the battery charged AND I can't keep the car outdoors in the winter because the cold harms the battery! I'm sorry but this car is for my college student daughter, where the heck can she park a car indoors in college? I really am disappointed in Kia and the dealership for not trying to find out the issue with this car! I will never buy another Kia again!!!

I bought my car (Optima 2013) in April of 2013. It had 10,000 on it. Now I am having issues to the point my car shut off on me, the engine you can hear clicking! How the hell does a brand new car practically have engine issues like this!? I'm beyond disgusted!

I should have waited a few more weeks for sale... The car has a dangerous recall about car fire. It's in all the news and yet no answer from Kia except don't park your car indoors. It might catch fire.

I purchased a brand new 2019 KIA Sportage two days ago. It's the first time I drove it today. It popped up a warning message (with yellow light) after one mile of driving, saying "Low Tire Pressure." I called the road service to check it up. Based on the User Manual, the tire pressure should be around 35 in cold weather. But for my car, three tires were around 30 and one was 27. I am just wondering: Do they really check up everything and make sure it meets all the criteria before they deliver it to the customers??? Well, this is just the first day. The service guy inflated the tires. I will keep an eye on it in the following days to see whether it's the problem that they didn't inflate it enough before delivering or the tires are really bad and they deflate gradually. Anyway, my first day of driving a brand new car, was ruined.
